Really beautiful piercing studio with very nice staff. They were able to get me in right away despite not having an appointment. I had to dock a star because they are extremely expensive. Like 250$ to get your ears pierced expensive.

Beautiful studio! I accompanied my partner to get his nostril pierced by Rashelle. She was lovely and did a fantastic job! Everyone else we interacted with at the studio were great, too. 10/10 experience from the quick and convenient booking process to checkout and aftercare. We’ll definitely be back! :)

We loved our experience at Glimpse Piercing. We had Ash the manager! She is very professional and took her time making sure the piercings were placed exactly perfectly before ever touching a needle. My sister and baby came with me and got to come into the room. Everything was very clean and sterilized. Ash took the time to go over pricing, after care and how I wanted the piercings done. I would definitely recommend this place!

My daughter and I went in for her birthday. We didnt have an appointment but we were greeted kindly and taken right back as soon as the room was ready. Christian was awesome! Even though myself and my daughter have multiple piercings he was still very thorough and informative.Very friendly, clean environment. Definitely recommend!

Went in, immediately was shown tons of beautiful earrings to pick out what a want. I decided to be pierced by an apprentice and she was so good and calm and had the cutest service dog. It was by far the easiest piercing I have ever gotten. I will definitely go again!

I worked in a piercing/tattoo studio when I was younger and have had over 20 piercings throughout my life. I took my daughter to get her earlobes and my lip pierced. Ash was amazing, she was great with my daughter and made it an incredible experience for her. My lip was perfect, fast , and as painless as a needle going through your lip can possibly be. The shop was extraordinarily clean and sanitary. As far as Im concerned, our family will be clients for life.

On December 29, 2023 I got these three piercings at Glimpse and paid over $300. I was so excited to show off my piercings and jewelry and couldn’t wait for the healing process to begin. Three months later, my piercings have still not healed. I went to another piercing studio to take a look at my ear and they informed me that the jewelry sizes they used were way too small and tight to allow my piercings to heal. They immediately took out my jewelry and replaced them with the right sizes. The silver hoop piercing in my inner ear did not heal at all and I had to take it out completely. I’m just disappointed that I trusted this studio and spent so much money and time trying to heal the damage to my ear. My piercings are now finally healing.

My 8 year old daughter finally decided she wanted her ears pierced. I knew I didn’t want to do the mall thing so luckily I searched and found Glimpse. She picked Ashley to be her piercer and we scheduled online. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Ashley was amazing and what was even better was the Lizzie was there to assist so that they could do both ears at the same time. This was awesome for a nervous little girl. Karissa was amazing, made sure I got exactly what I wanted and was willing to work with me to get there. She was very sweet and let me hold onto a stuffy to help with anxiety and taken me through the whole process. Quick and efficient, or was over before I knew it with minimal pain. Cannot say enough about this shop!!! On a whim I woke up and wanted a 20+ year old naval piercing re-opened as it wasnt closed up completely. Called a few other sic shops and got the run around. I called glimpse and spoke to Ash, who reassured me l could walk in and they could easily fix it for me. Walked in 35 minutes later to a beautiful, clean and bright office. Ash greeted me and took me into the studio and re opened the old piercing in minutes with NO pain at all. I LOVE it and will recommend this shop to everyone! Thank you. Ive had my double helix for 2 years now. I recently had it looked at because I lost my ball and went to a different shop to get a new piece of jewelry for it sense glimps was closed and I found out my piercings are angled. Im legally blind so i wasnt sble to see the 45 d3gree angle mysrlf. Not happy! As for the owner response below Salty much? Im blind how am I supposed to know they are angled? As far as I remember your company didnt explain downsizing or migration. if you dont like one star reviews then do your job correctly. People spend a lot of money for your services. Instead of trying to find a solution you respond with a defensive response? Im sure thats great for business.

We had the best experience getting my 5 years old ears pierced. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The place was clean and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The prices were great and they provided a treat and drink to my girl which helped make her feel more at ease. Ashley did a great job with the piercing. She was informative and precise. I would recommend Glimpse 10 out of 10.

I got my lip pierced here. They have been great with it. The piercing did swell over the end but they fixed it and have taken great care of me. I would definitely recommend going through them because you will be in great hands. They take the time to make sure everything goes better than you thought it could. Best piercing I have ever had done.

Wonderful place!! Ive had two piercings done here now, and I cant recommend it enough. The staff are friendly and professional, the prices are really competitive, and the building is bright and clean. I will definitely be coming back here on my piercing journey :)

Came from out of state and, based on the great reviews, booked an appointment for both of my diaths. I had Lizzie and she was WONDERFUL. Very professional, skilled, and extremely kind. The piecing boutique is very beautiful and clean. My sister and little toddler niece came for support. Lizzie had a couple of toys for my little niece while she watched. I brought my own clicker rings in (10mm, 16 gauge, solid gold…make sure you have a 14k stamp on the jewelry so you and they know it is in fact solid gold). Lizzie did such a great job but I’m a total wimp and I cried. (Again, I am so sorry!) I don’t have any other ear piercings except for my regular lobes. Lizzie handled me so well hahah, I’m literally so sorry. But I decided to still did both diaths and I’m so glad we did. She gave me great tips like for side sleepers using a travel pillow so your ear can be in the open space. Thank you, Glimpse Piercing Boutique & Lizzie :)

Perfect experience for my 6-year-old daughter’s ear piercing. The staff were very welcoming, kind, patient, and they put my daughter at ease. We dropped in on Saturday to ask questions and made an appointment for the following day. The woman at the front answered all of my daughter’s questions. The next day everything went smoothly. The man doing the piercing was so patient and sweet to my nervous kid. He walked her through it all and there was no rush. She was given cookies and a juice pouch and they even gave our two younger kids the same snacks so that they wouldn’t feel left out. The whole experience was excellent. I highly recommend Glimpse for a child’s first ear piercing.

I went in after leaving my nose ring out for too long. Ash was able to re-install the jewelry and give me tips on how to best switch out the jewelry myself. She was so sweet and easy to talk too. Will definitely be back! Plus the shop is adorable!

I love how sweet everyone is the place its super clean and smelled nice, my piercer was so sweet and easy to talk to I love that they provide a fidgits in the room it helped a lot, I got an ashley and septum, he did honestly wonderful. I genuinely loved the place, the service, and the piercings.With the piercings; there nothing off with the placements I did get this piercing really recently so I cant say much on the healing process but that is my responsibility to take care of them. I like there jewelry options personally and the piercing itself was handled with care :) thank you definitely recommending this place.

This place was wonderful. My daughter just turned 7 and wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Ashley was amazing and made the whole thing so easy. She was kind and made sure to take her time to explain everything to my daughter which made all the difference. And when she was done she made sure to take care of my daughter got her a juice and some treats. Were all very happy with the result Ashley did a great job!

Got a forward helix done by Ash. Made the appointment online the day before without any issues. She was professional and helped me pick out the best jewelry and placement for my ear anatomy. The inside of the shop is impeccably clean and its a welcoming environment. The piercing is listed at $35 but that doesnt include price of jewelry so the total I paid was about $90, Im sure you could go a bit cheaper depending on what jewelery you chose, but just something to keep in mind if youre on a budget. All the jewelry is gorgeous and very good quality so I had no problem with the price of jewelry, especially since its being put in a brand new piercing. If I ever get another piercing or need some quality jewelry Ill definitely come back here.

I came in hoping to get two vertical helixes done. I had emailed the studio a few months ago asking if this service was available, sent reference photos (including photos of my ear) and asked for a quote. I received confirmation about the service and a quote. When I booked my double helix service I left a note saying I wanted vertical piercings.I showed my piercer my references, they told me across the front desk that they would not do the service. They said there was a possibility it would reject.I decided to get some different piercings on my other ear instead. My piercer did a great job with these piercings! It was comfortable, quick, relatively painless and they answered any questions I had.In the end, Im bummed I wasnt able to get the piercings I planned on getting. I also want to be clear that my piercer did a good job with the piercings I ended up getting. I think we just had different expectations going into the appointment.Overall, I would recommend Glimpse. My one piece of advice if youre looking for a really specific piercing would be to book a consult and maybe they will give you a better answer than what I got!

IF YOU ONLY READ ONE REVIEW... READ THIS ONE! My hari was soaked with BLOOD and I was charged over $444+!Customer Beware!!! Under-trained employee left me BLEEDING BADLY and with wonky piercings! I asked for his boss to come look and the piercings were bad enough that the supervisor removed two of them. She agreed that they were incorrectly placed and pulled them out. After listening to the two employees talk about the situation with my ear AND taking into consideration the vast amount of blood that had soaked my hair and ran down my neck-- I had lost all confidence in this piercing studio and its employees and I opted to not move forward with any re-piercings.Please note: the woman who was in charge stated directly to me, We will only charge you for what you received... their words not mine. However, the fee scale and how they charge is questionable, at best.The piercings were removed from my ear because of their error. Additionally, I was led to believe that I wouldnt be charged full price because of the piercers mistakes. I anticipated a reduced fee due to the painful and bloody error on the part of the piercer who was not adequately trained or prepared to do what he was doing. Again, my hair was soaked in blood. By the time I got home the blood had dried in clumps.Sadly, the reality is the piercings were removed due to lack of training on the part of the piercer. The company does not disclose that you are being pierced by an apprentice or someone with less than a year piercing, and you are charged as if you are getting a seasoned piercer.I truly believe he did not have the knowledge or know-how to properly place the piercings, nor did he have enough experience on his own to complete the piercings.I was told I would not have to pay for anything that didnt receive. But, I did pay for something I did not receive... I paid for services that I believed were being performed by an experienced piercer, not by an apprentice. Had I wanted an apprentice, I would have gone down the street to their competitor that discloses that you are getting an apprentice piercer. Additionally, their competitors charge much less when you agree to being pierced by an apprentice ($15 piercing fee-- opposed to Glimpses $35 piercing fee for an undisclosed apprentice).Furthermore, I feel that they are not forthright with their pricing. I trusted that a professional piercing boutique would provide a capable piercer, not put me in less than competent hands. I also trusted that they would be forthcoming regarding product pricing. Most of us would agree a properly done piercing requires jewelry. Many of us would assume that said jewelry would be packaged in pricing- not have a separate jewelry fee, post fee, pin fee, curating fee, and piercing fee.I am feeling duped, frustrated, and OVER CHARGED!$444+ dollars for my earlobes to be pierced twice and one additional piercing on my helix. They do not charge you until the service is complete. So, the burden of discovery is on the part of the customer. Multiple fees for one earring! And a curating fee to pull jewelry out of a case. Note: they were re-piercing closed piercings and adding one forward helix per my request. They did not design anything.All in all, I suffered pain, bled all over my hair & down my neck, and I did not end up with my forward helix or my second helix that I had requested... but I did end up with a $444+ bill at the conclusion of this harsh experience.Update: I was contacted by a customer service rep (not an owner) and I was offered a $20 refund!!! Maybe Glimpse Boutique doesnt understand what a person expects to receive from a boutique... most of us expect BOUTIQUE service when it is literally in your name!I believe this company is deceiving their patrons by omitting pertinent information. Information that would allow a customer to make an informed decision.Overall, this may be the single worst retail experience I have ever had!

I highly recommend coming to Ash for your piercings! I had gotten my tragus pierced at a not-so-reputable shop, and it had developed a decent sized irritation bump. Turns out, not only was my tragus pierced a gauge size smaller than is standard, the jewelry was twice as long as it needed to be, causing lots of movement. Ash got me sized properly, and installed beautiful, high-quality jewelry. I am thrilled to say that a few weeks later, my bump is all gone and my ear feels great!

This piercing shop is THE BEST! I got my first cartilage (helix specifically) piercing with Lizzie! Lizzie was fast, clean, and professional. She was so nice and talked me through the entire process and answered all of my questions! She showed me placement before and confirmed before piercing, she was so fast, I barely felt a thing (and I have a low pain tolerance)! Then she walked me through aftercare and made sure I knew how to take proper care of my new jewelry! Daniel at the front desk was so kind and explained all of the paperwork and patiently explained the different types of jewelry, what fit my face shape, and what was within our price range! It was a welcoming, clean, and safe environment! 10/10 would recommend getting piercings here! Booking was so easy and fast too! I honestly can’t rave about this place enough! I brought my daughter in for her first lobe piercings and the staff was incredible! From Marcus checking us in and going over paperwork to Samara who pierced her lobes, the entire process was wonderful. My daughter was understandably nervous for her first piercing experience. Samara was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and most importantly patient and respectful throughout the entire process. I had a great experience here! When you walk in the studio was very Clean and inviting! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I Love my Rook piercing! Lizzie did my piercing and she did awesome!! I had a nostril piercing done here the other week and had a great experience! Samara is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. My sister, my friend and I all went in to get piercings today. Two of us had Lizzie and one had Samara. We had an amazing experience. The studio was clean and open, the person working the front desk was lovely, and Lizzie was an absolute delight. She was funny, professional, and talented. I had some scar tissue in the area I wanted pierced so she took extra time to feel out the area and ensure it was place properly. I plan to go back to her any time I want another piercing.

My daughter wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. After searching online and debating whether I should take her to a Claires or a tattoo parlor, I decided on Glimpse. Im so glad I did! Everything was very clean and sanitary, and they walked my daughter through every single step. They went at her pace and really made her feel at ease. My daughter was shocked when her ears were actually pierced because it barely hurt. 10/10 would recommend this place to parents who are trying to figure out where to take their kiddos!

I got my second lobes pierced here about 2 years ago and they actually never ended up healing correctly. I had to take them out 5 months after getting them done because they kept getting so swollen. I recently started being a piercing apprentice and learned that you are only supposed to use flat back posts. The girl that did my piercings used butterfly backs which now I realize is why my piercings never healed correctly. I got them repierced by my piercing instructor and she said with my ear anatomy, they didn’t even pierce in the right spot for it to look good. I always wondered why they looked so close to my first lobes. The girl that did my piercings did not seem like she knew what she was doing to say the least. I had questions about placement and she just kept telling me “it’s up to you” well, back then I didn’t know anything about piercings but now that I do, I would not recommend this place. I wish I didn’t spend the $100+ here.Edit: replying to the owner,I had a bad experience with a back/post where I couldn’t get the earring out which is why I asked if a butterfly back would be a good idea in which the piercer said it would be fine. They also did not recommend flat back posts, they said that was what they normally used and even after I told them my bad experience from a different piercer where they used (I’m assuming) a flat back post. So if you knew a butterfly back would not be good to use on an initial piercing, why would you offer it? The piercer did not even try to convince me that if she used a flat back post instead of butterfly backs, I would have a better experience than the last. If I hadn’t taken it out, it would have been swollen to the point where I had to get medical treatment.For the placement, I told her I didn’t want it too far apart so she marked it a few times but I was still unsure. What’s wrong with asking for her professional opinion? I’ll say it again, she did not give me her professional opinion, she only said “it’s up to you” so me at the time, not knowing anything about piercings should know where a good spot would be? My ear curves up at the lobe which made the earring look a lot closer than it was so there was a lot of earrings I couldn’t wear since it would be too big. Shouldn’t your so called professional piercer know that and informed me that it would not be a good spot to pierce? I can’t be the first person to want to know their piercer’s professional opinion.I am just speaking from my own experience, I am not trying to steal your clients or tell people not to come here. I didn’t even mention where I pierce out of or the name of my business. Maybe try to take a little bit of criticism. I also think it would benefit others to know not to request butterfly backs if they don’t understand it won’t heal correctly or ever unless you use flat backs.Thank you for your time and giving me this bad experience so I and others know the correct back/post to use for the future and to maybe not get pierced by someone who will not give you their professional opinion and only say that it’s up to you.

Took my girl to get her nose pierced she did it was great, clean, efficient, and flexible with changing the size even after the piercing!! Would recommend highly!!

My sister got her septum pierced here on 5/4/23 and they pierced it horribly crooked. they didn’t use a clamp and according to my sister they “pushed the needle through really slowly.” she spent over $100 plus a tip. once she showed me and i noticed how crooked it was i told her she needed to get a refund, we called and they offered to re-pierce it once it heals with the same jewelry. which would be fine however she has decided she is uncomfortable with them piercing her since they messed it up so bad before. i called yesterday and they refuse to issue a refund. this is awful business practice. you can’t just pierce people crooked and then refuse a refund.

My daughter has been wanting her ears pierced and we finally agreed. I spent hours looking for a good shop and found Glimpse and I am so glad I did! From the moment we walked in the door the vibe was amazing and so was their customer service! Tyler did the piercing and was so informational and kind, he walked us through the process and made sure we were comfortable before doing it. He took his time when it came to marking her ears then the actual piercing was so fast. I will definitely go back for any other piercing myself or my kids want! Never been before, but needed a quick replacement for my bridge jewelry before work, and glimpse was the only thing open at 11am on a Sunday. Everyone working at the time was extremely kind, knowledgable, and helped to inform me on what to pick. They even installed it for me!! Great environment and will be back for my next piercing :)!

I went in to get a lobe piercing and their service was amazing!! Everyone is very nice and friendly, and the area is clean with everything sanitized. Ashley did my piercing and she walked me through step by step what she did and was willing to explain why they do specific things in the process! Ashley was very patient and went at the pace I was comfortable going. I’d go here again if I wanted more piercings.

Im absolutely ASTOUNDED at the bait and switch with this place. My little girl goes in to get her ears pierced, they say they need to use a small titanium set of studs with cubic zirconium sets, they say that its a $35 fee to pierce them (which I thought was weird, because piercing is normally free with the purchase of some beginner studs). Piercing is done, go to pay, just to find out that a tiny set of fake diamonds sitting on cheap titanium studs (with piercing costs) came out to TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS!?!?! $250 and theyre not even REAL???? My GOD! Gold piercing studs are $9.99, but somehow tiny titanium studs cost $215!?!Stay away from this place by ALL means. The fact that they didnt let us know the cost prior to the piercing is the WORST customer service you can get. When we were presented with the bill, I said that I will just get the $9 studs and return these ridiculously priced studs... oh, sorry, all sales are final, absolutely no returns!This place is terrible. Hope they get boycotted by the community. Taking my little girl for her piercings shouldve been a fun and celebratory event... they even ruined THAT. Congratulations... BAD business.

Went here to get my nostril done. These guys are fantastic! I didnt know until after I left and went online that one of the owners did my piercing so that was awesome! Very professional, lots of good vibes, very safe and so far my piercing is healing very nicely! Oh and the best thing, they gave me an aftercare packet on how to care for my piercing! My fiance didnt get that when he went to another piercing studio. We both will be going here from now on, it is such a cool place. Thanks guys!!

I ended up paying $130 for a set of earings that cost $35 online. Im literally sick over it. I guess I should have brought my own earrings?? I dont even know if thats allowed. In the end, Im grateful to have gotten her ears pierced hygienically and that she has high quality jewelry in, but damn, I did not expect to be out $200 for a lobe piercing.

Great experience. My friend and I are not from here, it was a little nerve wrecking choosing a place. Everyone was kind. I got my second ear lobe piercings with Ashley. She was fantastic! She made us feel comfortable, explained everything. My friend got her industrial with Ashley (Ive seen some messed up angles on other people) but she was phenomenal on placement. 10/10

Came in today to have my smiley pierced by Ashley! Overall it was an excellent experience. Everyone there helps make you feel right at home. The shop is very clean and tidy and they have a great selection of jewelry as well. I will absolutely be coming here for any and all piercings I decide to get in the future.

We went to have my 10 year-old daughter get her ears pierced. Ashley did an incredible job calming her fears. She walked my daughter (and me) through the process and explained everything very well. She gave my daughter ample time to ask any questions she wanted. They were very clean and sanitary. They were also very clear on aftercare. After we left, my daughter had an additional question. Since we were still nearby, we went back for her to ask. All of the staff were caring and kind. I absolutely recommend Glimpse Piercing Boutique.

Absolutely loved my experience here!! Everyone was very friendly from the time I came in to the time I left. TJ took care of me and he did such an amazing job. He was very informative and helped me with my other issues I had with a different piercing that he didn’t do. Amazing! I went in for my first cartilage piercing today. (Havent gotten pierced since I was a baby) so this was very new! And honestly the best experience I could have asked for. Super clean, and amazingly friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone. My ear also isnt even swollen and It feels so natural. TJ did an amazing job when it came to piercing my daughters ears. He was very thorough and personable. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond with the customer service aspect. What you see in the picture is exactly how it looks on the inside and it’s extremely clean and smelt good. We will be going back for more piercings in the future.

A fabulous piercing experience! My wife and I each got nostril piercings done by Samara. She was professional, charismatic, and efficient. The process was seamless and the end result was fantastic.

I went here to get a nose piercing and was so happy with the studio! They were so nice and welcoming and the space is super cute. The jewelry is also a lot more affordable than other places Ive been to in SLC. The piercing process itself was very quick, hygienic, and efficient. I do wish they had a wider selection of jewelry, but, other than that, I would definitely return and recommend this spot for anyone looking to get a piercing!

They can be a bit pricey in terms of jewelry, so Id suggest you bring your own. Other than that, however, theyre perfect -clean, professional, thorough. Ill be coming back for all my future piercings.Septum and left-side double lip piercings are new.Edit: Left side spider-bites were slightly too far in to match with the right. They had me take them out and let them heal and re-pierced them for me a little closer to the corner of my mouth. 10/10 amazing service. Would go to them for everything if I still lived in UT.

I set an appointment for my friend and I and they got both our sets done in less than 10 minutes in and out. Website did not have updated holiday schedule went out there because online said they were open and they were not. Totally unhappy with that experience. They probably do an great job at piercing but please keep your stuff up to date. 3 stars on the website. There a local small business understandable; however, a lot of people use the Google information and website information. Not keeping this up to date can cause you to lose more business. Thats why Im expressing my opinion on the matter.

Samara pierced my second lobe piercing and it was amazing! Samara did such a good job and made me feel comfortable (I was so nervous)! I would highly recommend going to Glimpse Piercing Boutique to get any of your piercings!

2 of my daughters have had piercings done here, one earlobes and one helix, and it was such a simple and easy process! Just fill out the forms online and bring in your kids birth certificate and your ID. This place is immaculately clean! And they are so professional and friendly, much better than getting pierced at Claires or Walmart, and I used to pierce at Walmart!!

Got my septum jewelry changed out here. They helped me pick out new jewelry which was supposed to be a good fit for me, it wasnt. We went back and I truly dont even know if the girl I got was licensed for this job. She proceeded to take my jewelry out and then get a needle like tool so that she could guide the new jewelry in, but she couldnt find the hole! For about 5 minutes she continued to stab at my septum until I passed out. I had to ask if there was any one else that could do it and finaly another lady came in and was able to get it through. But I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone when I went to a different studio that actually knew what they were doing they told me that the jewelry was tugging on my septum making me bleed, the jewelry was also very cheaply made there were factory marks all over. Wasnt cheep $50 shouldve cost $10 for that quality.

I got my nostril pierced and I will tell you that was the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Jess and TJ were the sweetest, most down to earth people I’ve ever been pierced by. It was extremely quick and painless and they gave me great instructions for how to clean it afterwards. 10/10 would absolutely get another piercing here again. LOVE!

They were so quick and friendly![Edit]I got my bellybutton and my nipples done here, a week apart. My bellybutton healed perfectly and Ashley did great communicating with me every time I had a question. My nipples were pierced in the right places and have healed great but I have a problem. When I first brought them home I thought one bar looked shorter, but talked myself out of it cuz I thought asymmetrical swelling was causing an optical illusion. A few months in I was talking to them because I was almost positive that one was gauged bigger than the other. Not by much, I think the left is 16 and the right is 14. They said it was very unlikely but that if I made and appointment for a consultation, theyd take a look. I ended up not being able to see them. Today I took out the barbells to find I was right. Very frustrating.

I absolutely loved my experience here!! i was on time but i unfortunately forgot my i.d. and i had to have my friends bring it to me. both jessica and tyler were so sweet and patient and let me wait for my i.d., even though it was close to closing time, and even gave me a caprisun while i waited. the store was clean and well-decorated. i got my septum pierced and it was quick, sterile, and barely hurt. will definitely come back for more piercings!
