First of all, I have to say that Good Times Tattoo is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained tattoo studios Ive ever been to. The store is spotless and tidy, and everything from the floors to the equipment is meticulously cleaned and sanitized. This is so important when it comes to getting a tattoo, as hygiene is crucial for both the client and the artist.But beyond the cleanliness of the studio, what really sets Good Times Tattoo apart is the warm and inviting environment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and made to feel right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they really go out of their way to make sure youre comfortable and taken care of.Now, lets talk about Nick Judkins. What an incredible artist! I had the pleasure of working with Nick on a custom piece, and I have to say that he blew me away with his talent and attention to detail. He took my vague ideas and turned them into a work of art that far exceeded my expectations. Not only is Nick a skilled artist, but hes also incredibly patient and easy to work with. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered his own ideas and suggestions to make the final product truly amazing.Overall, I would highly recommend Good Times Tattoo and Nick Judkins to anyone looking for a top-notch tattoo experience. The combination of a clean and welcoming studio, along with Nicks incredible talent and professionalism, make for an unforgettable tattooing experience. Christien was absolutely AMAZING !! He got us in for very last minute walk-in appointments. He stayed past close to accommodate us, which was incredibly appreciated. He prices very fairly and packs color in SUPER well. On top of all of that, he is a very kind guy and made us feel very welcome. I’ll be going to him for all of my next tattoos! HIGHLY highly recommend this artist.

Good times tattoo, its just that a good time to get a tattoo. I saw the artist Nic and he put two traditional tattoos on me this day. The building is a repurposed 7-Eleven convenience store and its just a really cool layout to get artwork done. I really couldnt ask for anything else with my visit.

I went in for a tattoo and the level of professionalism, cleanliness and overall atmosphere was second to none. I reached out via IG and was greeted with kindness and urgency. They worked with me scheduling out a couple months and I was placed on Alex Meachems book. Alex is an exceptional artist. We did a full peonies piece going from my neck going down on my trap and onto the shoulder. The quality of work and detail that he placed into this tattoo is absolutely immaculate. I love it so much I will be coming back and getting my other side done by him.Thank you goodtimes tattoo for having an amazing shop, booking process and amazing artists!

This is my favorite shop in salt lake. I feel like the instagrams of thr artists dont do them justice. The line work tattoos Ive gotten done there are fantastic. They push out gorgeous american traditional tattoos and really solid black and grey tattoos.Highly recommend!The picture is of a tattoo almost a year old.

Amazing staff! I use Alex Mecham exclusively. Always easy to get an appointment. I havent seen a bad tattoo leave this shop yet. Almost everyone I know with ink had had one done here.

One of the best tattoo shops in Utah. Every artist is a master of their craft, including the apprentices. Everyone should check this place out when considering getting tattooed. Alex Mecham is very easy to work with and one of the nicest people on this planet. He is an expert traditional tattoo artist. Ben and Mike are cool too 😎

Ive been getting tattoos for 10+ years. Gone to several shops throughout the city, and though many are great, none compare to Good Times.Ive been getting work done by Kyle Olsen since 2021, and he is the absolute best. He listens to my ideas, is gentle when he tattoos, and is overall a great human. Though his work speaks for itself, him as a person and tattooer just adds that much more to the experience. Hes done a full sleeve on me as well as a massive rework that started out hideous and ended up absolutely stunning.The shop itself has a great vibe, and Eva makes scheduling a breeze. Shes nice as hell and always gets back to me in a timely manner.If youre considering getting a tattoo or looking for a new artists, go to Good Times and book with Kyle!

Probably one of my favorite shops! Every artist there has so much to offer! They’re all beyond talented, super professional, very clean and the atmosphere is great. The front desk is amazing, location is easy to get to. Alex Mecham has done a few tattoos for me and my husband. They’ve all healed with zero problems, the work is amazing, and I will continue to come give them my money.

I LOVE Good Times. I see Kyle who I just adore but everyone there is super nice and does great work. Kyle listens carefully and executes exactly what Im asking for and then keeps me laughing and comfortable while sitting for the tattoo. The shop itself is clean and comfy, great atmosphere, all the artists are fun and friendly to each other. Im not sure Id go anywhere else again.

Untrustworthy millennials and liars. Made an appointment two week in advance when I was going to be in SLC for work and paid to hold that appointment. Texted me two hours before and cancelled. He was going to work on some one from out of town. Ya I am out of town made appointment and already paid but I guess we are still in high school. Shows the caliber of ethics. N/A.

I’ve been tattooed here 5+ times now and by a two different artists, Nicky and Mike. I love all of my tattoos by them. This shop is clean and calm, and staffed by a team of genuinely kind people. It has an ATM in the shop, plenty of merch, candy, and a welcoming atmosphere. They often take walk ins, and even on days they’re too busy for them they always respond to inquiries in a timely manner. You can tell the artists here love what they do and they produce amazing work, so I would highly recommend this shop to anybody looking for great tattoos.

Great tattoo studio. This was only my 2nd tattoo, my first being over 16 years ago so Im basically a novice at tattoos but would highly recommend Good Times. Very clean, with sanitation obviously a priority.Tiff was my tattoo artist and did a beautiful job on my simple, yet very meaningful tattoo of my recently departed pup of 17 years. She was very professional and did a great job on the original and touch up. I highly recommend Good Times and Tiff and will absolutely go back if/when I get another tattoo.

This place is awesome! Tiff is my artist, and shes great. Shes super chill and wants to make sure youre getting exactly what you want, shes also super informative when it comes to the healing process, also, shes incredibly talented. 10/10 would recommend. The whole studio has a really good feel to it and everyone there is super friendly!

Nick is the man! Very talented artist and all around nice guy. Booked my appointment and got two super clean tattoos from him. If you are looking for a good American traditional artist who pays attention to detail and is creative, I would highly recommend nick to anyone. Everyone else at the shop was nice as well. This is the place to get tattooed!!I have a leg piece and full arm sleeve from Kyle Olson. Kyle is soft spoken, makes me feel so comfortable, and truly cares about his clients. Absolutely gorgeous floral work, and lines are amazing. My sleeve is about 6 years old and still looks good as new.I also have a leg piece from Alex Mecham. It’s a rose of no mans land lady. Not only is it rad (so many compliments!), he sent me the drawing days before, is super responsive and a clear communicator, and is an all around great guy.I’ve been tattooed by some other people around the valley, but damn: there is no place like Good Times! The shop is clean, tattooers are true artists, and for everyone complaining about pricing… 1. Their artists are so much more affordable than LA and NYC!!! 2. Don’t buy cheap tattoos. Laser removal hurts.

Nick Judkins is my tattoo artist, and he is my favorite! His style is beautiful and colorful and unique. Once my cousin recommended him, I knew he was gonna be doing my whole arm! He is quick and precise, is very considerate and fun to talk to, and makes sure you love each and every tat. All of the tattoo artists at Good times are funny, kind, and SO TALENTED. 15/10 recommend

I went in and saw Alex Mecham on two different occasions when my daughters turned 18. Both times he was very professional and respectful considering the placement of my girls tattoos. Great price and fantastic work! My daughter has been back to Alex for more work and I’m planning my next piece! We trust him and his quality. The shop was a cool atmosphere with friendly people!

Got my first tattoo done here last week. Had a fantastic experience. All the staff and artists were super friendly and my artist Been Martinez did an outstanding job. Even though it was my first tattoo he made me feel comfortable. He was to work fast and was able to keep up with good conversation. Will definitely keep Good Times Tattoo on my radar if I ever decide I need another.

I love Good Times! Ive had a dozen or so tattoos here, including a full arm sleeve by Kyle Olson (started in September 2016 and finished in March 2019) that Im still in love with and get compliments on regularly. Kyle is so talented and has always made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him and the shop as a whole.

Alex Guy is a brilliant artist with a unique vision. I have been working with him for the last two years on a leg sleeve that is positively magical. I always recommend him and this studio, the artists offer a wide range of styles sure to meet any desire you may have. You cant go wrong here!

Edit to review: Though I still wouldn’t recommend Alex Martinez to anyone, I absolutely recommend this shop. Eva and Colby went above and beyond. They took the time to reach out to me personally. That really says a lot about them and their business.Alex Martinez (am.art) is an amazing artist and he lets it get to his head. I paid my $60 deposit right before covid hit and they had to close down shop. I understand that. Well the shop opens and I asked them how I can get back on the books to get my tattoo rescheduled. Well after many months of ignored emails I reached out to the good times Instagram page for some help of the carbon copy of my appointment. They don’t have any proof. Yet in order to get on the calendar you have to pay your deposit. That’s not a valid proof to them so because Alex is so diligent to his clients, he won’t reschedule me or give me my deposit back. I love when artist steal my money l.. I won’t ever be recommending him or good times ever again

Alex Guy is the best tattoo artist around. Hes the only one there that has tattooed me, but all the other artists there are so nice. Its super clean, a wide variety of music, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Weve been to a few different shops, but none compare to Good Times. Im a customer for life.

This is going to be a bit of a mixed review. The shop is clean and they are all friendly. I scheduled with Danny for my first time tattoo. I emailed him, he gave the idea his okay, I scheduled it, I sent him an email a week prior. All of this at his request. What could go wrong with a tattoo from a really good artist. So, I waited my year with anticipation and excitement.I show up and he gave reasons for why my concept is bad from every angle. If he thought this, then why did he wait to tell me until it was time to get the tattoo? I waited a year for someone to tell me my idea was bad.About an hour later the receptionist calls me to see if we could reschedule touch ups for my non-existent tattoo. It seems that both his in house and out of house communication skills resulted in a very upset, but refunded client. Unless you really really like his art, go to someone else.TLDR: This shop is amazing and I love their art but do not book with Danny unless you are willing to put up with his unprofessional communication skills.

Michael Hyatt was fantastic! He did my first tattoo and did an amazing job. I came in as a walk-in with a general idea of what I wanted and he quickly sketched up something perfect. His line work was really good, he was super nice to talk to while I was getting it done, and he explained the aftercare process well. Overall, I couldnt have been happier with the experience and I would recommend him and the shop to anyone.

Great artists and great service.Mike helped me out with getting my first two tattoos. He is a super friendly guy and is very a very talented artist. You can find him on Instagram @sugemikez. I highly recommend him and his work.The interior of Good Times is very clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I received a Celtic knot with a shamrock in it on my chest and a semicolon on my wrist. Mike took excellent care of me and was very professional.Seemed like many of the artist were booked several weeks or even months out. If you have a specific artist in mind I recommend being prepared to book far out, but the wait will be worth it!If youre not decided on a design you want, all of the artists have books of really cool designs.Overall great place and great service!

I started going because of my ex wife. Her work wasalways super clean & radass. Started following T.J & looked into his work. Id been looking at 3 artists here in SL. Once I saw his stuff I knew he was my guy! Ive done two sessions on my foo dog half leg sleeve. Last session coming up & its going to be badass!!! All the artist at Goodtimes are freakin killer

Alex Guy was awesome, was able to give me the tattoo Ive wanted for a long time. Will definitely come back for any future tattoo ideas. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a tattoo.

I love Good Times! I refuse to go anywhere else for my tattoos! I live multiple hours away from the location, but the trip is worth it! The artists are incredibly talented, the atmosphere is very chill, and the quality of service is 10/10. They really make sure you get taken care of, and deliver dope ass dank ass tattoos. Had my tattoo done here by Sharese Taylor and she was amazing. This is my new favorite shop to go to. The establishment itself is very clean and relaxed. She was quick without skimping on quality at all and was very accommodating. I love my tattoo, I’ll definitely be going back for more from her. Can’t say enough good things about my experience!

Artists are very willing to work with your individual design ideas and find ways to incorporate details into a full design. Fantastic vibe with an eclectic mix of artists who are all at the top of their particular style. Very clean, professional, friendly, and I’d recommend to absolutely anyone. If you’re lucky enough to get onto Sharese’s schedule, you are beyond lucky! She did both my moth and lunar lander, as well as my spouse’s ponderosa. Can’t recommend enough!

I cant speak highly enough about Alex Martinez and Good Times Tattooing. The tattoo Alex did for me is large and takes up about 75% of my back. The tattoo is beautiful and detailed. Anyone who has seen it, loves it and have asked for Alexs number. The cost was almost half of what I thought Id be paying when I first went because Alex was so honest / generous about the amount of time he actually spent tattooing. Best experience you could have for a first tattoo!!

Fun Story. I got my first tattoo here in Tuesday. I didnt really know what to expect. It was clean, professional, amazing. I didnt know what to expect though, it was my first time. I’ve been tattooed by Ben twice now, and I’m going back in on Tuesday to finish the shading of one of my tattoos. But let the record show; this is my FAVORITE tattoo shop ever. Not only does Ben make sure you’re okay and will take a break whenever you need, but the shop itself is so inviting and everyone is easy going and kind! I’ve had to reschedule in the past and they did it easily! They sure do know how to run a business and they have the best artists in Utah. I will always come to this shop for my tattoos

Went with my wife and daughter to get matching tats today. It was my daughters first as she just turned 18. Alex Guy was the artist and he did an awesome job!! Very clean shop and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

I get all my work done here, specifically by TJ who is incredibly talented, but every artist there is absolutely amazing. I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else as long as I live in Utah, and Ive been going here for 3+ yrs now. They are a hoot to be with and I always walk out happy as a clam with the work. Go there. Seriously its worth it.

I went to Good Times for my first tattoo. It was a Friday and I was a walk-in. I was greeted immediately by a nice and professional dude who helped me find an available artist to go over my design. I was lucky enough to work with TJ, who took my design and made suggestions to make it fit and look good on my forearm. He immediately went to work and an hour and a half later I had my very first tattoo done!The shop was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and overall I had a great experience! I was well taken of and given plenty of info on after-tattoo care. TJ was fun to work with! We chatted and laughed the whole time and I felt totally relaxed.I am so glad I chose Good Times!

This is probably the first time Im leaving a one start review, but here it goes. We had an appointment with Mike a couple of hours ago, he did a good job at my tattoo but when it came to my wifes he lost it and told us to get the f out when we asked for some adjustments. Extremely unprofessional and overpriced for such service. He also left for long smoke breaks and took a long time to set up. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to any of my friends and people reading this review.

I had the pleasure of having Alexander Martinez do my tattoo. Havent had one in 9 yrs. Have several. Alexander did a few tatts for my brother, so I saw his work and do not regret it. I will be back. The vibe there is chill and my ink was EXACTLY what i wanted and just how i wanted it. I highly recommend stepping in and getting your ink done there. Superb work. Thanks!

Overall, everything about my experience at Good Times was AMAZING! I went to Good Times to make an appointment after reading great reviews. Mike at the front was great and super friendly. TJ was my artist and he was SO good and SO fast. Every other tattoo artist I have met is weird and awkward. TJ was extremely friendly and upbeat, great attitude and great work.His price was very fair. The environment was super chill and laid back. I always like to try a different place/artist for each tattoo I get but Im done trying. I will go back to TJ at Good Times for every single one of my tattoos from now on!

I have been going to Danny M.for the last 3 years. Phenomenal artist, Takes pride in his work, and really easy to talk to. He made my cover up/full sleeve a talking point to anyone interested in tattooes. Everyone at the shop is down to earth. I highly recommend these guys!

I love good times, they have great and friendly artists. Alex Hinton is working on my chest piece and he was really good at helping me figure out a design to cover up a previous tattoo. I was unsure about a design and I only gave him two images to work with and he came up with a design that blew my mind and exceeded my expectations and I couldnt be more happy with the way its coming along. he is also fast but does the best work I have ever seen. He also used a product called H20cean nothing on my last session I did and its a foam pain reliever which made my tattoo completely painless and I was amazed at how well the product worked, it was worth the extra $10 and I will use it every time I go. I will never go to another artist as long as I am being tattooed. If you want an amazing tattoo at an amazing price then go to Good Times Tattooing and see ALEX HINTON.

Every member of the staff is kind, fun to hang out with, and helpful. The environment is clean, and verry open. They have a lot of amazing art up and great reference books I checked out 5 shops before this one, and good times blew me away with their over quality.My artist is Alex Hinton, he does an amazing job. Great work, incredably clean lines, stunning art. He helped me find exactly what I wanted then took it, and turned it into a complete and beautiful pice. He takes his time with every step to get it exactly right. Also he is easy and fun to talk to.Could not more highly recommend a shop or artist. Completely satisfied.

The artists there are great people and very professional. I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from one of the top guys in the shop. I’ve referred multiple people who have been tattooed by them. In my opinion you shouldn’t copy something like a tattoo. There should at least be some editing to make them stand apart. My artist failed to do so. Unfortunately, this shop has lost my business strictly for duplicate my tattoo.

I’ve been to this tattoo shop multiple times with friends getting their tattoos and have always loved the atmosphere and vibe. My family brought me here today and Al was my artist. He had such an incredible amount of patience with me and the artwork is amazing. I couldn’t have pictured it to come out better.

I get tattooed by Alex Hinton at Good Times. Alex is talented, friendly and very easy to work with.Beyond that, I would say that the entire shop is beautiful and comfortable. If you are in the market for a professional and quality tattoo, be sure to check them out.

I scheduled an appointment on Pioneer Day two weeks prior. When I show up they tell me it got pushed back by an hour. An hour and a half later I get rescheduled for that Thursday. Thursday I get a call saying they got to reschedule me for Monday. Monday comes along and they tell me they have to reschedule. I decided to cancel. I was so excited to get this tattoo however they will take walk ins and whoever has the more expensive tattoo over appointments. The reason why its not a one is because the first two tattoos that I actually did get here were done well and they did take care of me. This last experience has left a bad taste for me and I will not be returning. So if you are planning an expensive one or just walk in Im sure theyll take care of you too

I visited the shop based on my sister in-laws opinion on Al Martinez. I was glade I listened to her. I was getting a tattoo on my ribs and was anxious about how badly it would hurt. Al put me at ease and it actually hurt less then my back tattoo. I did go on a Sunday so it was pretty empty, which I really enjoyed. I would really recommend Al to anyone, I plan on returning to the shop this week to get a memorial tattoo.

IF I COULD GIVE 20 STARS I WIULD!!!!!!!!!Went in to discuss some options with the tattoo artists here. Was treated with the utmost respect and given options on who could best perform the peice I had selected. I put the work into words and Alex Martinez was who I was recommended to have do the piece. He made it come to life through his artistic ability and skill set. This was the most meaningful tattoo I had ever gotten, it was for my daughter and Alex really delivered in every aspect of the tattoo. At one point there were 5 guys standing around me watching him tattoo, all were very stoked on the performance and realism of the tattoo. Ive been in between tattoo artists until NOW! I will NEVA EVA go to another shop! Every single tattoo artist here is skilled in so many styles of tattooing but most importantly they are all very nice and professional. Could not believe the finish product.

I went to TJ over a year ago for my first tattoo which was a tribal piece on my quad. Amazing work and that much more of an AMAZING experience! Ive been back to him for a touch up since it was such a large piece. This guy is the greatest and the atmosphere is VERY inviting and comfortable! I go back in 2 days for a piece done on my shoulder blade and cant wait to see what TJ pulls off! There is no where else I would go to have work done!

Best tattoo parlor in town. Clean, great staff, good tunes. Also, the tattoos are great quality. All the artists have great talent. We specifically love going to TJ Pearsall for all our tattoo needs. Have gotten 4 tattoos here and love them all!

Clean and professional. I was really happy with my experiences with the staff and environment. Kyle did my first tattoo and made me some beautiful magpies - hes the real mvp if youre looking for birds!

If you like true artists and a fun atmosphere then Im sure youll enjoy good times. Theyre all easy to talk to and they give great advice when it comes to tattoos, getting tattooed and aftercare as well. Its where I plan to get any tattoos I might want in the future.

My niece and I had tattoos planned for a couple of weeks with Tiffany, and she cancelled an hour and a half before the appointment… Disappointing to receive a cancellation, so close to the actual appointment.

Talented artists but when it comes to scheduling appointments they aren’t reliable. Every time I have scheduled tattoos 6 months in advance they always call and reschedule it for months later. It’s too bad the business isn’t as professional as the tattoo artists.

Very disappointed with the tattoo artist I went to at this shop. Good work I guess but canceled almost every appointment I made. I had to book my appointments 3-4 months out and he would wait an hour before the appointment to cancel. When I addressed the issue with him he turned it on me, and was very rude and unprofessional.I will never go back to him or suggest him to a friend.

I was in Utah for a training class and had been wanting a particular finger tatto for awhile so I looked at a few shops and found good times. First I called and asked them if they could do a finger tattoo. The first question they asked was if I had other tattoos which I told them I have a lot of them. They told me in that case they would do it. I always find that not willing to tattoo the job stopper tattoos on people who dont already have a ton or who dont understand the commitment is a sign of a responsible tattoo shop. I payed them a visit and was able to do a walk-in. TJ did my tattoo and it came out great. It is on my ring finger and my wife just loves it. TJ did a great job and it is exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the great tattoo while I was in Utah. I would recommend this shop it was clean and professional.

I was a walk in and planned to get a few small tattoos. I did not have to wait more than an hour, and Shar did an amazing job, I’m so happy with the results. Clean shop, friendly artists, and quality work!

I have never been disappointed by the artists here! They are professional, but still manage to laugh and joke at the same time. The work is amazing. And theyve never abused the hourly rate system.

I highly do not recommend this shop went made and appointment a month out only to be cancelled the last minute then finally got the tattoo very poor work the artist Alexs book looks awesome but sad to say his work sucks even schueduled a n appointment for touch only to drive an hour there just for the artist to argue with me on his opinion of how the tattoo should look not even caring about any of my concerns on the tattoo and hoping to get it fixed actually just made an uncomfortable situation ended up leaving with no touch up and lefted with a horrible tattoo very poor customer service and the work looks like a beginner at best very very dissatisfied

I went and it took the tattoo artist over 30 minutes to get set up so I just left. If you want to make money get set up a lot faster.
