Got my very first tattoo here and Miguel was amazing! He did an awesome job and Im very happy with the result. He was super nice and thorough with everything to make sure Id be happy with my tattoo. 11/10 would recommend.

Stopped in on vacation and couldnt be more impressed. Walked in and felt very welcoming. Met Miguel and explained what was was wanting and he took his time to and his attention to detail was impressive. If looking for a place to get a tattoo especially if worried if its your first, I so recommend Gypsie Soul Tattoo. If ever back in the area I will return.

My sister and I had an appt Friday afternoon with Sam C. He did an amazing job and was very easy to sit for and talk with. He did a great job on the fine line tattoos that we got. If I lived closer to the area I would definitely revisit often.

Came in as a walk-in with my friend & the vibe of this place is fantastic. Love the aesthetic of the art of the walls and floor. The backroom has ample space and privacy. Really enjoyed my experience and the art came out perfectly. Emily has a great demeanor and Im excited to see where her career will take her!UPDATE: included pics of the effect the skin wrap had on my skin. Im also disappointed that the ink blurred. They need to use better quality after care products (eg alcohol that doesnt burn, wraps that dont irritate the skin, etc.).

ArJay is the best artist I’ve ever met! She always excesses expectations with her art and professionalism! All of her art work has healed perfectly and still looks amazing years later. I’ve met a lot of artists, but I will always come back to her from now on!

ArJay did, and does, an amazing job with my tattoos. I felt glee whenever I first saw it finished. She treated me and my friend with impeccable professionalism and patience and was thorough and quick. She finished both of our tattoos behind our ears and my tattoo in three and a half hours and exuded friendliness and compassion the entire time. She always executes my vision and is still open to discussing if there is something to revise, which, because of her expert eye and communication skills, doesnt happen very often. Her aftercare is great and her instructions are clear on how to take care of the tattoo, and she accommodates for whatever allergies, or disorders, I have. Her talent is immense and she is a delight!

The majority of my art work is from Arjay Smith, her use of color is amazing and the artist touches she advises and then adds that my tattoos have been not only spot on but have added to my overall tattoo aesthetic.I’ve know big Steve for many years and only recently decided to have him put his artwork on my body, not because I don’t like it but because his art is so similar to Arjay. He does however do one thing very differently and that is his skulls.Lastly, although I have not yet received a tattoo from her Teddi does amazing work, I have also followed her for years. I do recommend her.There are many artists at this shop that I have not known for years but I have never had a bad interaction at the shop and many artists share their work as it is being applied. I have never heard an artist be over critical of anyone else’s work. It’s a good sign if you like artists that are constantly trying to improve. The apprentice pool works hard to earn their stripes and are treated well from what I have seen. The shop is decorated beautifully with a nice old world golden aesthetic, it’s quite a nice shop to wait in while your artist is busy.

Gypsie Soul is my favorite tattoo shop at this point. So far I’ve seen 3 of their artists and I’m eager to come back for more. Every artist is awesome at making sure you are comfortable and liking how the piece is coming out. Jeremy did my first frog ever with the witch hat, Gabrielle did the one with wings and Emily did the one with lipstick and the one with the cowboy hat. Everyone has been amazing and I will definitely be getting more of my frog sleeve done here. It’s also worth noting that Emily and Gabrielle were/are apprentices and still did such amazing work. They are definitely 2 to keep an eye on and I love seeing all of their stuff on Instagram, so make sure you are following @occult.collection and @cowgirlcoloringbook

I got a tattoo from Emily and it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! Emily is so talented, warm, friendly, and provides a safe space for an inevitably painful experience. The shop itself is very clean and professional. I will definitely be going back to see Emily again. :)

Got a tattoo from Gabrielle. This was my first tattoo and I was super nervous, but gabrielle and the whole staff was sooooo nice. Made me feel very comfortable, but also not to mention the results!! Gabrielle did a fantastic job. Communicated very well, clean area, solid work, asked me many times if I needed a break, and overall was an amazing experience. The tattoo looks great and I’m going back for 3 more from her. Highly recommend this shop as well as Gabrielle! 10/10 ⭐️

Atticus did an absolutely amazing job covering up and reworking my badly blown out outline from A.W.O.L. Tattoo. This was after the second session, still some work to go, but what a difference! Highly recommend his work, as well as everyone else in the shop! I had a chance to witness some of the others at work while taking breaks, and I have been equally impressed. You won’t regret coming here, clean shop, killer atmosphere, cool people, clean techniques, and amazing tattoos!

This tattoo shop is one of the best shops I have ever been in!! Its clean & has a great atmosphere! All the artists that where in the shop was really nice and friendly. My artists just started working there and it fits his style and he is really comfortable there and thats a big thing when it comes to getting a tattoo! So thanks to Gypsie Soul Tattoo shop and most of all thanks to Kayden for being such a wonderful tattoo artist and making it such a fun experience getting ink by him !!! I got a large custom tattoo from Emily T. she did an amazing job! Her artwork is amazing and she was very understanding for what I wanted for the custom. While getting tattooed she made sure that I was comfortable and she let me take as many breaks as I needed. I’m so happy with how my tattoo came out and will be getting tattooed from her again!

Arjay is the only person my husband and I go to tattoos for! She is an amazing artist, creates beautiful tattoos, and is so fun just to talk to during the tattoo. She did my brothers first tattoo and had a great bedside manor and was able to calm him down the entire tattoo.

This is my third tattoo from Gypsies Soul Tattoo. Brandon is a great artist and a superb conversationalist. I am planning more tattoos and hope to have them all done by Brandon.

Upon walking in your greeted with one of the most friendliest front staff that makes you feel so welcomed to be there! You are treated like a 5 star guest with the hospitality that is never ending.I had the pleasure of getting a beautiful tea cup with flowers tattooed by Nick. What a superb session that was! Nick is very professional with communication as to what you’re wanting and you get his collaboration along with yours to make one of the best pieces your body will display.The shop was such a great place to see all the different artists who have such opposite personalities that makes everyone feel like family. The cleanliness is very comforting to know the whole staff use the same respectful manners.You will not be disappointed with experiencing this shop and possibly finding your forever artist/ tattoo shop!

Super cute shop, and amazing artists! Joe (@tatgunjoe on Instagram) did my New School otter thigh tattoo and we won in a local tattoo competition! Joe put a TON of work into the design and made sure it was personalized, even though all I asked was that an otter was included.Everyone I’ve met from the shop has been incredibly nice and NOT egocentric - which is sometimes hard to find when it comes to tattoo artists. Highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting an amazing personalized tattoo from some amazing individuals.

Teddi Bird is an incredible artist! I cannot recommend her enough! If you want amazing work, Go see Teddi. She has done several pieces on me and they all look fantastic!! The atmosphere at the shop is great, the staff is top notch.

I got a tattoo from Emily and she is AMAZING! Her artwork is stunning and so fun and I was thrilled to get this unicorn piece from her. Ive only ever been to one other artist who I love so much I was nervous about cheating on her and not having as great an experience elsewhere. Thankfully I had nothing at all to worry about. Emily is professional and thoughtful, making sure youre comfortable and know what shes doing, plus shes so friendly and easy to talk to. I was surprised just how fast yet precise she was. I thought the color filling would be painful so I didnt even realize when she was done because it wasnt painful at all! I love my tattoo so much and would definitely go back to Emily for more if shell have me! (the photo is around 6 months healed)

Today I was tattooed by Will McCoy. I loved the experience of the whole shop! The atmosphere was kind and inclusive and everyone was very friendly. My experience with Will was the best part though. I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my late father, and Will was extremely kind and helpful with the design. He took the time to really flesh out the details for me and give me a really great tattoo that helped me with my grief. Will was able to pull details and give me the exact tattoo I wanted even though I didn’t truly know what I wanted. Great detail and great experience!!

I just had my piece done today by Emily!I just LOVE it!!!!!!!I gotta tell ya:I have a few tattoo pieces around my body, had different artists doing it for me but this girl is amazing! Shes one of the best(if not the best) artist that I have ever had it.She is so talented, all her pieces are so, so, so pretty and colorful, every single one of her pieces are cute, I havent seen any that I thought it was ugly or weird for my taste!I am amazed by her talent, definitely a lot of experienced tattoo artists could/ should learn from her!Plus shes a sweetie, we were talking and laughing, I felt very comfortable the whole time and when I least expected it was done!!!!Shes not only talented, friendly but also quick and professional!Price is so reasonable too, I will definitely be back with another piece that I have in mind!Thanks Girl!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Atticus did an amazing scheduled tattoo for my boyfriend but kindly stayed late to do a small, unscheduled tattoo for me as well. He took our initial idea and kept working with it until the design was perfect. He did detailed, beautiful work -- not to mention hes a cool, friendly dude with good music taste. He was really patient and upbeat during the entire 3 hour process. Well definitely be coming back!

Went here for our 1st tattoos!I talked to at least 6 different shops and Gypsy was by far the most welcoming and professional. Kylie was our artist and she did an awesome job. She talked with us, helped us decide on the art and definitely made the experience fun. Also, the apprentice they had in training was awesome!

Went in to get a quote on a tattoo I wanted, the person who greeted me didnt quote me but told me to come back after I draw it for him and he would do it for me, I never went back.

ArJay Smith is the best and has been my go to for some time. She’s a fantastic communicator and makes it easy to get some new ink. You can tell she cares about what she does and puts a lot of deliberate thought and detail into her work. I appreciate how bold her color work is and her line work is always crisp. Emily tattooed me and I cannot recommend her and the shop enough! The atmosphere is chill, accepting, and not at all intimidating. This is the first tattoo where I’ve never plugged in my headphones because I was enjoying talking to Emily and the apprentices so much. A great shop full of talented and friendly folks.

Today was the best day ever!! I was tattooed by Emily. She made me feel so comfortable and checked in with me throughout the whole tattoo! Not only did she execute the piece I wanted beautifully, but she also covered some scars that I didn’t really like to look at anymore. 100/10, would recommend checking her out and getting an adorable, beautiful piece from her!

I really like Will McCoy! He is such a great artist and really so much fun to talk to. I cant say enough about ArJay! I found her 3 years ago from walk in and have had her do so many of my pieces since. My newest is a memorial piece to my mom. Our song was I Got You Babe. I talked it through with ArJay and she came up with this colorful lava lamp. I am absolutely in love with it. She is personable, friendly and fun to talk to. I recommend all my friends to go to her.

I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from Emily! She’s so talented and sweet. She’s done my shin, knee cap and back of my knee and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with these spots. Lines are crisp, color is so vibrant and shes quick! My first tattoo healed amazing and I’m expecting the same for my new ones. I can’t wait to go back for more :)

After an exhausting review of artists in the area I decided on Brandon Mugleston (owner of GST). I had 4 sessions scheduled with him for a half sleeve. I had nothing but an A+ experience. Brandon and his team were great to me. I told him what I wanted and put my trust in him to give his interpretation. He surpassed my expectations!! Brandon had great ideas and was the consummate professional. I have caught the bug and will continue to go to Brandon on all of my tattoo needs. Brandon Mugleston is awesome. He is a true master of his craft. If you are looking for something awesome with a lot of detail that you can enjoy for a lifetime Brandon is your man!!! Got my first tattoo from Brandon. 6 hours and he knocked out a very large inner forearm piece for me. And now an outter forearm piece in 5 hours as well! They both turned out better than I could have imagined! Very happy with it. Thanks Brandon!!

My Special Needs son got his 2nd tattoo from Ian Dennis and on the 3rd session he did the wrong bible verse. Ian and the owner of the shop tried to make it my sons fault. He provided Ian the script on at least 3 occasions. Now irreparable damage and excuses 👌time for Ian to pony up insurance and retire. That was Not John 3:16

Everyone Ive had the pleasure of working with and talking to here is so friendly! But if I had to choose a favorite artist, its definitely Will McCoy. He is amazingly talented and also so nice. I feel like Im talking to a friend every time Ive gotten to work with him. And I get compliments on the watercolor tattoo he created for me all the time! Im a forever fan of his and will never trust anyone else with my skin again. Ive had 2 tattoos done here, and Ill be adding a 3rd next month.

Best tattoo shop in the SLC. Clean and a lot of different artists and styles to choose from. I’ve been tattooed by both Brandon and Miguel. Brandon is really good at realism and Miguel is great at traditional. They are the best hands down.

Ian is wonderful. We (my fiancé and I) wanted matching tattoos to commemorate the loss of our pregnancy at 17 weeks. He took us as a walk in and stayed late to accommodate us. He was well worth waiting 2 hours for him to finish with his current client. He takes his time, makes you laugh and makes sure our sketch was exactly what we wanted. He threw a couple of his own ideas out and they were fantastic. Both our tattoos were better than originally planned. His shading was on point, lines were straight and blending of watercolors is incredible. I can’t wait to go back for my next piece. Thank you so much Ian. You have an amazing talent. Keep doing what you do best brother ❤️

We came here in September wanting tattoos for my wifes birthday. At first when we showed up there were no artists available, but then we were contacted by Ian wanting to get us scheduled. We were only in town for a very short time and he was able to work us into his schedule and give us the most amazing sand dollar tattoos. Will most definitely be returning for more work in the future. From the cleanliness of the shop to the friendly apprentices and artists in the shop, the atmosphere from the time you walk in the door is inviting and comfortable. You wont regret coming to this shop for your works of art!

Nicole (@mustyrattats) was amazing to work with! I love my tattoo! They were so attentive to detail and made sure I was doing well. I definitely recommend them! Also, I didn’t get tattooed by them but @charlotteswebtattoos was also awesome to have tattooing next to us! They were both great!

I loved the atmosphere of the place, beautifully decorated. Everyone was welcoming and attentive as I came in. I had an appointment with Steve Atkinson. I felt comfortable asking and he was completely cool to tweak a few things on the sketch, was passionate and excited, plus he even had treats on hand! Steve also took the time to follow up with me a few days later to how the piece was healing. Ill definitely be going back for future work.

I was a walk in as a tourist and booked a session the same day after visiting in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and it was my 6th tattoo. Im a fan of simple black and white designs and Brock was the fella who did the work. He designed it (I have zero artistic talent) and was a stand up guy throughout the process. Although he specialised in photo-realisim he qas really great at line work and shading. He had good banter and stayed after hours in order to fet it done. It was very reasonably priced and I couldnt be happier with the work. Highly recommended.

The line work/placement/design/color on my tattoo is unmatched. Will is amazing! We came in as walk ins on a Sunday afternoon and they got us in super fast and we ended up getting even more tattoos than anticipated since we liked his work so much! We spent most of the evening with Will and other staff it was very enjoyable! Love the atmosphere and everyone was so friendly! We live in Texas but we will be traveling back to Will for all of our tattoos!

I’ve been tattooed by a couple of artists at this shop, and every time I’ve been in, the environment is so welcoming and cheerful. You can tell that the artists genuinely love tattooing and spending their day with each other. I went to their Apprentice Day yesterday, not really knowing what to expect. I left with a tattoo from Nicole that was the same quality that I’d expect from their experienced artists. I can’t wait to get tattooed by more Gypsie Soul Artists.

I went to Alex and my tattoo was perfect fast and gorgeous. We called to make sure they had walk in availability and they did. The store is stunning and feels so clean. We sat down and talked about what I wanted and sizing and everyone was very welcoming and willing to work with us!

Emily is by FAR the only person I trust to tattoo me! She makes such an effort to make sure I’m comfortable and taken care of. Em has a beautiful way of making people feel at home at her while in the studio and always takes the time to make sure I’m happy with her work! Her passion for creativity shows in every sketch and her attention to detail always follows lead. Whether it’s color, fine line or cowboy hats; I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

I went in for a couple tattoos with Emily and she was AMAZING. I can’t thank her enough for being so accommodating, nice, and down to earth. I would recommend getting a tattoo from her any day. I was with her for around 4 hours and honestly did not find one time where I felt uncomfortable or that it was taking too long. It went by so fast and she did amazing. My friend and I walked in with ideas of what we wanted and Nick did an amazing job pulling our ideas together to give us exactly what we wanted. The extra detail and final touches he put into our tattoos showed just how amazing and talented he really is. First of all the tattoo shop has such great decor. Everyone was very friendly. I got a flash tattoo by Emily. She was amazing!!!! Very nice and knowledgeable and open to edits. Her station was clean and she has a bubbly personality that is calming while you’re getting tattooed. Her style is very unique. 10/10 would recommend the shop and Emily!

Me and my bestie were looking for a walk-in appointment and after a few failed attempts we wandered in to Gypsie Soul and were very much happy we did. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The shop is clean and comfy. Will was our artist and he helped us with the designs and tattooed us. He was professional easy going and easy to work with. We had a good time The entire process. He did a great job on both of our pieces. I am super happy with the quality of the tattoo. It was a pleasant surprise that we came here and after our experience I would go back.

I got a tattoo from Emily (@cowgirlcoloringbook) and it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had while getting tattooed! She is so sweet and considerate. Her station is a definite safe space and her art is brilliant. She is so talented!

I got a tattoo from Ian Dennis, who works at this shop. It was at the Three Rivers Tattoo Convention in Washington, so my review isnt for the shop, but for Ian as an artist. The minute you look at his portfolios you can see that he is a VERY talented artist who is so incredibly versatile. But it goes beyond that. He is funny, engaging, and professional. He drew up my tattoo in almost no time at all and it was exactly what I wanted. During the tattoo (over two days totaling about four hours) he made sure I was as comfortable as possible and didnt get frustrated when I needed to change how I was sitting or needed a break. I look forward to the next time I can get a tattoo from him! I will post a photo on this review after its healed a bit.

Gypsie Soul was the perfect place to get my first tattoo. The staff was beyond professional and friendly when it came to answering any questions I had. Jeremy was my artist and let me tell you, what a meticulous artist and careful when it comes to you as a customer. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxing and super clean. Got 2 tattoos done last month by Emily (@cowgirlcoloringbook)! The entire space is clean and welcoming and all the artists/apprentices I interacted with were great. Emily is phenomenal at what she does, easy to talk to (felt like catching up with a friend even though we had never met before), and continuously checks in with you during the whole process. If you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, also recommend Emily as she creates a very welcoming, safe space. Definitely will be back to get more work from her and other artists! The only reason why Will hasn’t done all of my tattoos is because sometimes he wasn’t available for a walk in. He’s my favorite. He makes you feel comfortable, and he gives input with his own twist. It always turns out perfect. Super nice guy that tries to pretend like he’s not a teddy bear. 100% recommend

Loved the atmosphere and decor that this tattoo shop has. My artist, Gabrielle, was super professional and kind. She was very attentive to my needs throughout the entire tattoo. I had two identical symmetrical pieces done, which is something that a lot of artist don’t like BUT she was very excited and executed both pieces perfectly, now I’m the proud parent of two beautiful twin bats! 🦇 Emily was also super attentive and even gave me a bag of chips and a granola bar. Even though she wasn’t my artist at the time Emily went above and beyond to take care of me. Overall really satisfied and will be coming back as soon as possible!

I had a large cross brand that I wanted covered up on my bicep. There was pretty significant scar tissue and uneven skin and Will McCoy did an incredible job with it, you cant even really tell its there anymore! He took my idea for a bear in the woods scene and made it his own while still giving me exactly what I wanted. Super interesting and nice dude to talk to. His whole setup was extremely clean and well maintained. Will definitely be going back!

Seriously one of the best shops around! Josh is my artist and has been for a couple years now, but honestly all the artists I’ve met there are so talented and they all have such a good vibe! The shop is always clean and the apprentices are awesome with coming by and seeing if anyone needs anything while checking things out and asking questions/getting feedback from the other artists. 10/10 recommend 🖤

I know this review is a book, but I just wanted to be thorough. I had line art done here in February 2022 and although I love my tattoo, I would not choose to come back to this shop. My artist was Jason and he was chill and fun during the process which I appreciated as this was my first tattoo.However, I paid $250 for my tattoo, about half of which was a security deposit for the time slot I chose. I had somewhere to be after receiving my tattoo and made this clear to my artist ahead of time, and we deliberately planned my appointment so I would have no time conflict. However, despite my hefty time slot deposit, my artist was still a full hour late getting me in the chair. He said the reason for this was because he took a walk in appointment, which was extremely frustrating since I had made the appointment the night before and gone over the details for why I needed the time I chose and again paid a hefty price to ensure my time was honored.Me and my wife also witnessed an artist across from me during my appointment smoking marijuana a few minutes before taking a client. I know marijuana can help induce relaxation and focus for some, so I personally did not care much but just wanted to inform anyone considering this shop.

I was tattooed by Emily a few weeks ago and I could not imagine a better experience! She made me feel so relaxed throughout the experience. This is my largest piece and only one with color, and Emily was so amazing about walking me through the entire thing and confirming how I was feeling through the entire process. Would HIGHLY recommend anyone gets a tattoo from her!!

I had been looking for a shop to do a piece inspired by a book series and loved Will McCoys art in particular. Really really awesome tattoo parlor!! The decor is pretty awesome when you first walk in. My girlfriend and I both went together. She got a dragonfly tattooed on her arm. Megan was her artist and she loves her new ink. Its incredibly detailed and beautiful! I got mine from Will, and old buddy of mine from a different tattoo shop. I followed him here and gotta say. Not disappointed! Will is the best artist I have ever found. His work is amazingly done with an attention to realism and detail. This shop rocks! Let me start off with THANK YOU IAN! We came in as a walk in and Ian was so willing to give us a tattoo. We had sadly and unfortunately lost our baby girl at 17 weeks. Worst thing we went through. Ian got us in and drew up an amazing piece to show off our love and little one. He was so much fun to talk to and honest which helped. He gave us something we will never forget. He was so willing to stay late to get these done for us. He made us feel welcomed and showed us we can trust him with such a special part of our life. By far the most sanitary artist I have ever been too! I was thankful. During the piece he educated us on what he was doing and why. Very clean lines and shading! Will McCoy is the GOAT! After walking in on a cold December day to get silly matching penguin tattoos with my man I discovered Will loves dragons. I’ve always wanted a dragon tattoo and after years of searching I finally found the guy to do it.Now, keep in mind I actually live in Texas, so I booked another appointment for March, headed back up to Utah and gave Will simple instructions’ “I want a dragon. You can pretty much do what you want from there.”I showed up, spent about 3.5-4 hours having the bottom of my leg turned into an amazing work of art and WOW! Talk about impressive! 10/10 recommend you book an appointment with Will. He’s funny, professional, crazy talented and just an overall great guy radiating good vibes. The shop recently relocated and the location is super clean, bright and open!

I was honestly skeptical at first as I wasn’t sure how well my tattoo would come out because I didn’t have a clear image in my head of what I wanted. I gave Jeremy free reign with an idea that I liked and I was beyond blown away with the work he performed. He did my half sleeve in about 6.5 hours or so and he captured exactly what I was looking for with great quality. I plan to return to Utah to continue getting his work done and it was an awesome end cap to our family vacation! I would recommend his work in a heartbeat.

Emily T. is amazing! I got my tattoo from her on Monday, 5/23 and I am just overjoyed by how beautiful it turned out! She was so easy to work with and just a delight to get to know for the 90min I was in her chair!

I had a great experience getting my tattoo done by Will. I wanted my tattoo to cover up an old scar that I was very insecure about it and Will did a great job! I am very happy with the final result, and Will was very easy to talk to and did a great job. Definitely recommend!

We stopped in this week as a walk in for 2 simple tattoos and ended up being extremely disappointed in one. After a day we noticed how bad the moon turned out, the end is not at a point, missed part of the skon and it has floating lines. Not only was it a bad tattoo by Joe, we were charged 150$. We will never return

Brandon did my first tattoo and was so great!!! I was 18 and wanted a pretty big shoulder piece. Throughout the whole thing he was amazing, helping me decide what was best for my tattoo, making appointments, walking me through aftercare and it looked amazing! And it still looks so nice four years later!!! I’ve gone back to Gypsie Soul for every other tattoo I’ve gotten, because I love them so much.

Im not sure I can say enough about this shop, or its artist! Matty did some work for me today but i was able to meet many different artists. The vibe at the shop is almost indescribable, Everybody has this easy going laid back vibe to them. Everyone was open and friendly. There was none of this condescending attitude from artist that Ive experienced in other shops Ive been in. If youre looking to get tattoo work done and you want an experience that is fulfilling and amazing art and and incredible atmosphere, I highly suggest this shop! I love this shop! It is beautiful! Very clean and the staff is amazing. Gabrielle gave me a tattoo of some monstera leaves. I absolutely love it! She made me feel very comfortable and I had a wonderful experience. I will for sure be going back to her for some more.

I had Matt do a arm to back tattoo and I am super impressed with his work and the feeling I got while there. Not only is he a great artist, which you can probably find many places, he actually makes the experience of being stabbed for hours enjoyable. Some of the most positive conversations and vibes youll get. The whole process was very professional and he was extremely open to spitballing ideas and making minor changes to suit my tastes. He wasnt afraid to add his own input as well which helped fill in some areas where I wasnt sure what I wanted the tattoo to do. Everything about this place and Matt was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I loved my tattoo at Gypsie Soul! I received a custom praying mantis from Gabrielle and the entire experience from start to end was seamless. Gabrielle made me feel so comfortable as soon as I walked in the door and was so fun to talk to while being so patient with me moving the stencil so many times :’) I highly recommend and will be going back in the future.

I showed up here impulsively, and just walked in. Everyone in there was super chill, Nick ended up helping me, his line work is phenomenal, really chill guy. Emily has done a few of my tattoos, but recently shaded and added color to a piece that was just line work on my arm. She is very personable and did a great job in a timely fashion (and is pretty gentle)!

This is the 3rd tattoo I’ve gotten here and my parter has received a few as well! Nick’s line work is fantastic and the respect he showed was outstanding. He tattooed my thigh a few months ago and I felt completely comfortable around him. I absolutely recommend him as a person and as a tattoo artist! First tattoo, best experience. I called for a walk in with Will and I’ve never had such a good experience, he sketched my art quickly but made it good, he always asked if I was okay and he was a good person to spend time with, his work is amazing and he was funny. Tattoo time went by so fast with someone like him to talk to I would highly recommend and will be going back !

Gabrielle took us in with 5 minutes notice on NYE and helped me feel inspired to get some quick flash. Her style was awesome and she lit up when I said I just wanted something spooky. The atmosphere was amazing and very welcoming and the conversation did not disappoint. At no point did I feel apprehensive or unsure of the quality or safety of the location. Walked in with my best friend and they were able to take us and get us done quickly. They were very kind and chill. The artist will was great. It didn’t take long and looks amazing. This is my 2nd tattoo and it was more enjoyable than my first.

Will is an amazing artist! I was in town and was able to get a last minute appointment with Will for a scar cover up. He did a wonderful job turning something ugly into something beautiful. Almost 2 years ago I had Brandon start my first tattoo on me! A half sleeve piece of Yosemite. Originally I wanted a specific idea and had given him picture samples and how I wanted to tweak them into my idea. He took my 5-6 photos of several different Yosemite scenes and came back to me with 3 scenes flowing into one large piece and it was beyond what I even imagined before on my own.Due to Covid, I still have yet to finish the last 1/3 of the shading and detailing of my tattoo, but everywhere I go, I still have strangers coming up to me and telling me that the art on my arm is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen.Thank you Brandon, I hope to get in soon to finish the piece! Finances have been tight and complicated since the start of the pandemic!

Traveled to salt lake with my wife and mother to see a concert for my moms birthday and we all decided to get tattoos together for my moms birthday. After doing extensive research on local tattoo shops/artist we all came to a decision on gypsy soul, and it did not disappoint not only was the entire shop staff extremely kind and the shop was clean and had cool artifacts in it, Nick our artist that did all 3 of our ink was an all around amazing guy. His work was amazing and he was extremely professional and super cool to get to know while we were all getting our ink, although a long travel we all will endure the long road trip to come back and get more ink done here!!! We were welcomed by a few guys who immediately helped us and got us set up with an artist.Nick ended up tattooing the both of us, and not only was he a complete gentleman the entire time, he was funny and informative too. Cracked some jokes, told us about the local foodie spots, the best places to rent... The list goes on.The tattoo process itself was quick, and easy. We told him what we were looking at, he asked a ton of questions so that we were happy, and showed us every step. We sat down, chilled for a bit and then at the end, we walked out happy as could be.Will definitely be coming back here for all of our artwork.
