Only Forever Tattoo

Only Forever is a beautiful office, very clean and comfortable. I’ve followed my artist for several years, Matthew Miskol, and he is the best traditional tattoo artist around! I’m so glad he found a new home at Only Forever, and I’m excited to visit again soon!

I have had two great experiences here, the first with artist Carlos, and the second and very recent with new addition Matthew. Both artists were conversational and fun, while also explaining every detail and design choice with great knowledge and care. This shop is professional, clean, and most importantly super welcoming and lacking the intimidation that many tattoo shops tend to provide. I will come here as long as I live in Utah, I love it!

I’m a few months out from getting a tattoo from Ashley. She is absolutely amazing. Aside from being a general bad ass, she’s incredibly good at her craft. Her work has healed beautifully and it is by far my most complemented tattoo. I’m honestly so proud when I say that Ashley is the one who did my tattoo. Simply can’t recommend this shop enough.

Simply the best! Ashley has done most of my tattoos and she doesn’t stop to amaze me, everything I have asked for she goes beyond my expectations. Clean, friendly and very professional studio.

Cleanest, nicest parlor I’ve been in. It has such a nice vibe. The owner is wonderful and an incredible artist. The only place to go to get exactly what you want. I love both tattoos I got at Only Forever

Update (2 months later):I have since gotten a couple more tattoos with Carlos and they have come out perfect. I have added a very detailed, fine line Celtic Trinity band, another wrist tattoo (Ohm) , an eye ring tattoo (my wife and I both got them to replace our wedding rings) and my wifes and kids names in a very nice font on my chest (still healing so dont want to share pic yet). But it came out amazing and I am very pleased with it. Carlos has been a great artist to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo. Both Carlos and OnlyForever have made this experiencing/journey of tattooing a great one and I am enjoying this process so much.I’ve always wanted a tattoo and never pulled the trigger until now. My wife and I got matching tattoos with Eli, who is an apprentice but has some definite skill, and we were very pleased with how they came out. She was super friendly and did a great job.My second tattoo happened just the next day with Carlos. It was kind of spur of the moment. I was there for a consult with him for a band I wanted to do but had the idea for something small on my wrist of my wife’s zodiac sign combined with mine. Asked if he had time and he said sure thing. Needless to say it came out amazing. Carlos was super friendly as well and his skill is top notch. I’m definitely planning more with both Eli and Carlos.If you’re looking for a good tattoo shop, Only Forever is definitely your place. Great artists, great atmosphere and is very welcoming. For a newbie I wasn’t treated in any weird way. In fact, I felt like they cared for me and my experience to be the best and it was. Thank you Only Forever and all the staff.

My friend and I came in as walk-ins and were greeted with a friendly and accommodating receptionist. She was able to get us in the same day with Ashley. My friend and I were very impressed with Ashley’s skill and patience, as the tattoo we wanted was pretty silly, but sentimental. Ashley has great line work skills and did a wonderful job. She even made time for us the next day for another tattoo each! We will definitely be coming back.

The best tattoo establishment in SLC hands down. The environment of this shop is so welcoming and friendly. The appointment forms on their site make scheduling with any or their artists a BREEZE. I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from Ashley and each one has been a great experience!

What a fantastic shop and the people there were even better. Saw Arjay to design and get a tattoo Ive been wanting and she exceeded every expectation! Full transparency in pricing and placement and long term investment for the tattoo and that made the professionalism enough for me to come back. Love that I wasnt treated I live over 2 hours south of this shop and Im so excited to come back for my next tattoo in August and hopefully a lot more after that! Lilly did absolutely amazing work tattooing my deceased dog’s paw on me so I can have a piece of him with me forever. She has a very light touch and her skill set is top tier! Thank you so much Lilly, I will definitely be back for future work.

My daughter and I recently got tattoos at Only Forever Tattoo. We were just walking customers, well not exactly, we called ahead and asked if they could squeeze us in and then drove over. The receptionist and the artist were so accommodating and very nice. The tattoos were very simple and we ended up staying past theyre closing time. The artist was such a sweet person, professional and caring. Its been 40 plus years since I had a tattoo and if I choose to get another tattoo I would certainly go back here! Highly recommended!!!

Such a welcoming and clean studio, upon walking in you instantly feel comfortable. Everyone there is very nice as well and wants to help in anyway they can. I got a flower piece done by Becky and not only do I already plan on going back to get another by her but she was already giving ideas on what she could do for my next tattoo which was amazing. I would 100% recommend anyone to go here and you’ll leave very satisfied!

Ive officially found the place and artist (Ashley) who will be doing the rest of my tattoos here in Utah. Just fantastic experience. Great design (brine shrimp Utah flash, lets go), fast, light touch (Im a wuss), and not expensive. Couldnt be happier.

Went here for my first tattoo yesterday and it was FANTASTIC!!Communication was very clear (through both email and phone) leading up to my appointment, reminders were given, and the place was SO clean and organized!My artist was Lilly who did INCREDIBLE work in a short amount of time. I had anxiety about it being my first tat and was worried about making conversation, but she and others were chill about small talk or sitting in silence and just getting the work done.Overall easy process, awesome communication, fantastic staff, and I cant wait to go back for more!

Okay. Lemme start by saying. It’s immaculately clean. Like. Everything in its place. Sterile, masking, gloves, the whole nine! Scheduling is easy, the front office staff is great. Communication is frequent in the best way possible. I booked my first ever tattoo with Ashley, and let me tell ya what- it was great. She had great bedside manner, she got me exactly what I wanted done- and all at a great price. I’m glad this is where I chose to go for my tattoo, and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else.

The process of getting a tattoo was awesome. Super easy to sign up and schedule a tattoo. The shop gave off a Professional vibe. LillyKate was very friendly and did an amazing job. Took care in the placement showing they take pride in their art. They had great conversations and topics to keep it interesting while they tattooed. Was in a sensitive area yet they tattooed with care and precision. Talk about professional! 100% keeping an eye on this shop and their amazing people for future tattoos!!

Thank you for an awesome 40th birthday tattoo experience for this out of towner! Eli did a great job on the design I provided and the team was super helpful in fitting me in on the narrow window I had while passing thru SLC.The space is super bright, clean and welcoming - not to mention amazing mountain views!! I lost my baby girl Jazzy. She lived to the age of 17. I wanted to commemorate her life with a tattoo of her paw print and birth flowers. The shop was very inviting and very clean.

I had my first big piece done by Angel, and he did an AMAZING job. Made the entire process, from booking, to consult, to the actual tattoo, seamless and so pleasant. The design was amazing; he took my core ideas and ran with it with his talent and style, and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. The session was long, but he made sure I was comfortable and doing okay the entire time, especially considering I was super nervous coming into it. The whole shop was comfortable and chill, and I didnt feel like I spent half the day with strangers. A lot of the artists came by throughout the process and were fun to chat with and made the time go by quick. Ill definitely be back to Only Forever, and ESPECIALLY to Angel. Given this is my first tattoo, I dont have a bunch of experiences to compare, given how pleasant the experience was, I dont plan on trying any other shops out. The artist, Ashley, was fantastic to work with. I was looking to her to help considerably with the design, she came through wonderfully. The tattoo looks fantastic! Excellent experience! Ive been tattooed by Ashley Love before and when she opened Only Forever I had to follow. This time I had my tattoo done by Carlos and he did a phenomenal job! I usually design my own tattoos but this time I gave him my idea and trusted him to run with it and it was like he was able to read my mind and came up with a design that was 100% me.The shop itself is light and inviting. Very clean and feels quite high end. They had excellent COVID safety regulations in place and I felt comfortable being there. Prices are fair and I felt great paying for the quality work I received.10/10 recommend Carlos and Only Forever Tattoo.

I wanted to wait a little before posting my review but I got my tattoo done with Lilly. It was my second one, my first being filled in. I was extremely nervous but she took such great care of me! her skill is also amazing as its such fine detail work and looks amazing even after hearing more recently. It was clean, professional, and a safe environment. I definitely recommend.

By far the best tattoo experience I have ever had. The receptionist is very sweet and knowledgeable. I was able to get all my questions and doubts cleared well before my scheduled appointment, which put me at ease with the whole experience. This was my first tattoo and it seems I hit the jackpot on all accounts. Setting up the appointment was so easy and I will say that Ashley Love was worth the 2 month wait. I went in for a consultation and was able to get tattooed the very next week. Broke the tattoo up into two sessions and I’m done with my first one. The healing process is going great and the tattoo is looking awesome. I can’t wait to get finished up. Ask for Jay, they were amazing to work with, very friendly and talented individual! I had a short-term appointment with an artist but in the end decided not to get the tattoo because after discussing the size with the artist it wouldn’t have been what I hoped for (which was my fault, I was told before that it probably wouldn’t work as small as I‘d liked) Both the artist and the manager were incredibly kind and professional about it and I got my deposit back which I really appreciated.I would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back for another design!

I have used Only forever tattoo for my last 4 tattoos, Angel, Sarah, and Lily. All 3 did amazing work and helped work through redrawing to get the tattoo I wanted! Clean place, and great customer service! I plan on continuing to use their business for my future tattoos!

I got a tattoo from Ashley. The whole shop was super comfortable, just a really calm vibe. The tattoo I got was in a pretty rough area that I was not looking forward to but Ashley made it as close to pleasant as tattoos get. I appreciate her light hand. Had an appointment with Lilly and it was fantastic! It was my first piece and she was so willing to tweak the design to make it perfect. (That’s to be I expected I guess, but her attitude about my changes really calmed my nerves) She also was a champ with the difficult placement of snakes circling my elbows. It’s only the day after and I love my tattoo so much. I would HIGHLY recommend Lilly to any who vibe with her style. The shop was also just amazingly efficient. Love this studio so much but I’ll try to keep it short.This is a design from my mind I sort of tried to get down into the description box without knowing what the final product should look like. Angel greeted me in the lobby a month later with his take and absolutely crushed it.They do everything well and then some. It’s extra clean which is expected and necessary but Only Forever somehow exceeds expectations in cleanliness.It’s wide open with giant windows. I’m not a big fan of watching tattoos so having scenery is an awesome plus.Lastly and maybe most importantly, Only Forever is extremely plugged into the Salt Lake City community. They often have flash art tattoo days that directly benefit non-profits.Couldn’t be happier, will recommend, will go back.

I went to Only Forever Tattoo over the weekend and was very pleased with the whole process start to finish. Everything from the booking process to the end product was very neat. I got tattooed by Ashley and I already knew she was a great artist from following her Instagram over the years. I gave her a vague idea but she ran with it and made it look perfect. I will be going to back to Only Forever Tattoo in the future and I’ll tell everyone looking to get tattooed to go there as well.

Ashley is an amazing artist, not only did she exceed expectations with the drawing, she executed it expertly. The tattoo is better than I imagined it. She worked quickly and beautifully. The atmosphere was perfection with all my favorite music playing.

This was my first time being tattooed by an artist at Only Forever. Ashley did an incredible job of bringing my desires for the tattoo to life, and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. She helped me with figuring out placement and has a really good eye for how the tattoo would look along the curvature of my body. She worked quickly and did a very thorough job. I could not be happier with my result. I would highly recommend Only Forever and especially Ashley!

I had a great experience with Only Forever Tattoo. My artist cared more about the placement of my tattoo than I did (in a good way), that is the first time that has ever happened. This is my fifth tattoo from Only Forever, 3 from Carlos and 2 from Angel. Every single visit has been beyond my expectations. They are profession, clean and courteous. Ashley Love was my artist and she really knocked my tattoo out of the park. She incorporated everything I wanted and made it look stellar. I set up an appointment after seeing Ashleys Instagram. When I had to reschedule(tested positive for Covid, they were flexible. They even called when she had a cancelation and were able to get me in 2 weeks before my second appointment. They were professional, friendly, and most importantly, amazing artists. My tattoo, done by Ashley, is exactly what I wanted, its perfection. When I eventually get my next tattoo, I will absolutely come back here!

The shop is spotless. I felt very safe from germs or infection, and thats saying a lot being in the middle of Covid. Carlos was a true professional every step of the way. With his artistic talent for placement and design, we came up with a design I love.
