First and foremost Dat is an amazing person. He is very easy to talk to and very passionate about his craft. A real artist cares about the tiniest detail and Dat is a perfectionist. As a health professional, his work space is immaculate. His studio is like a museum and looking at art makes you feel good especially those long hour sessions. I am a walking art because of Dat. Grateful for his patience in making my ideas come to life. I am a lifetime customer.

First off, Dat is the realest guy I know next to my father. I mean, he opened shop at 6am for me on Labor Day on short notice. I was so picky at choosing my artist that I sat on this idea for about 20 years.When I first walked into the shop, it was like a breathe of fresh air. Meticulously cleaned and tidy. He was super professional and when we got to know each other his bright and special personality stood out. The stories he shared along with the free game and knowledge actually saved me a visit to the big house.I’m a strong believer that things that happen in our lives are meant to be. I’m forever grateful to Dat. I will be continuing my full body tattoo journey solely with Dat Nguyen.

I was searching for a good and seasoned local tattoo artist for my half-sleeve tattoo. I came across Convictions Tattoos and sent a Yelp message. The owner, Dat, responded promptly. After a few conversations, I went to the shop for a consultation. The shop is immaculate and smells good. There is beautiful artwork from local artists on the walls. I met with Dat, and he made me feel very comfortable. Hes super chill and professional. He is funny, too. We reviewed ideas for my tattoo, and he was honest about the expectations.I decided to work with Dat and am happy with my decision. My tattoo came out better than expected. You have to trust him and the process. Dat is highly skilled, a perfectionist, and passionate about his work. He wants your tattoo to come out nothing short of amazing. You wont regret it!

Definitely a recommendation. First super keen on answering you and working with the style or design you’re looking for. Second his tattoo shop is super crisp and he makes you feel comfortable by allowing you to select the entertainment during the tattoo. Third super professional guy and I’m looking forward to finishing my sleeve with him.

I know Dat for over two decades. He tattoo my left legs free hand. (pictures attached) He also did my right leg. (photo on my other phone) He did a stunning job on both of my legs as I always get attention when I wear my shorts in the summer. Highly recommended. Dat is very profesional and incredibly interesting to talk to. His experience with tattooing is incredible and he is very talented. I got a half sleeve done and I’m incredibly happy with how it turned out.
