Current Tattooing

I made an appointment with Jazz, and we connected really well! The process of making an appointment was super easy! They emailed me within a few days, and when I went with my cousin, the atmosphere was awesome. The process was super hygienic and professional, but I still felt comfortable. Aftercare suggestions are working great for me so far, and since this is my first tattoo, I am more than honored to have Jazz as my first artist. Got to ring a bell at the end, too, so that was cool! I highly recommend this shop.

Easily one of the best shops in San Jose. Legends all around. Everyone is so cool and they are deeply involved in the art community.

Jazz Fuller was an incredible tattoo artist. She is a self-proclaimed germophobe and took many extra hygiene precautions that made sure I would have a safe tattoo experience. Jazz was easy to communicate with, and had a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. I am so thrilled with the art she designed for me, and the ink has healed without a single blemish. The parlor itself is a clean and open space that does not feel claustrophobic even when there are other artists working nearby, and the decorations are cool to ponder while you sit for the tattoo. Definitely visit Jazz if you are going into the shop, her passion for the craft is apparent in her attention to detail.

Love this shop, such a comfortable and professional chill vibe with really talented artists. Smooth Jazz 1800tatline is one of the most incredible artists Ive ever met and I regularly travel from LA just to get tattooed by them.

Jazz was incredible. Me and my wife did a get what you get tattoo and we both came away super happy. If you have a spare $100 and feel adventurous you cant go wrong.

My friend went here after being highly recommended. She wanted to get a tattoo of a family of dolphins, and it looks abhorrent lol. I believe the name of the artist was Daniel. Dont bother; go to another establishment.

Ive been getting tattoos from Daniel (@dagonestattoo) since 2018 and he has taken all of my vague ideas and turned them into gold. I get compliments on his work all the time. Everyone who works at Current is awesome and they work together to make the studio space comfortable and welcoming.

Me and my brother went and got some work done by sick nick, was a great experience. Nick dose amazing artwork, and made the time flyby with great conversation. I definitely will be going back there for more work to be done and referring everyone I know.

I have quite a few tattoos done by Daniel. He only sees people before 12:30 for consultations out of respect for the clients he is tattooing for the day. Super happy with how all of my work has come out. I get complements on my work every day I go out. Shop is super clean and every artist in there is super cool and nice. Would highly recommend.

Walked in the other Saturday. Great vibes in probably the biggest tattoo shop Ive ever been in. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and I cant wait for my tattoo appointment.

Cory Goodmorning is my go to guy. Browse portfolios and make appointments with specific artists or walk in with little wait time most days. Clean, laid back shop with plenty of artists. Music and art events put on monthly.

My son , my pride and joy , got his first tattoo here on Thursday. Not only is his tattoo perfect, we love it. Completely professional and a clean sanitized environment.

Dan Dagones is an exceptional artist. Ive gone to him for my three most recent pieces and I will continue to go to him even though I moved to Oregon.

Everything was sterile and clean. Atmosphere was laid back. Jay is a great artist. She discussed everything in detail and made sure the placement was perfect before starting. I am definitely going back to her.

Cory McKague was recommended to me by my brother. Current Tattooing is professional, clean, and has a great atmosphere. The work Cory did for my brother was high quality and very clean. The piece I paid for, however, I am not happy with. There are stray marks where he went outside the stencil, holes that need to be filled, many of the lines are blurred, and there is a very crude free handed segment that he came up with on the spot. This wouldnt be a huge issue if he actually responded to my emails and attempted to fix these problems, but so far he has ignored my emails.As far as pricing goes, he seemed to have come up with a number on the spot as the work he did for my brother was in the same place (forearm) and much more intricate, yet he reports paying about $100 less than what I did.Overall I am not happy that I now need to find a new artist to fix the work I paid Cory for, and the fact that he has ignored me has left me bitter.

Great place. I come here because Daniel moved here to work. He is an awesome tattoo artist. I would definetely recommend him. The shop has many awesome drawings all around.

This shop has an employee (Chi) that is the worst flake Ive ever met! He did a tattoo for me four months ago. The color faded after the first week! I attempted contacting him several times but, he would not return my texts! In my frustration, I took time out of my busy schedule to go to see him. He said he wouldnt see me because I bugged him so much! What a jerk! He is THE REASON tattoo shops have a bad name! As far as Im concerned, Chi is a fat phony that doesnt take responsibility for his work! Do Not have this bastard do any work on you. Youll regret it.

Have come for a few sessions here. All the artists here are amazing, do excellent work and are very friendly. Place is always clean and great selection of music is always played. Will continue to come back

What struck me the very first time I stepped in was how clean it smelled. You are greater by whoever sees you first and are IMMEDIATELY taken care of. The staff is super chill and kind and extremely talented. I wont go anywhere else.
