I’ve been getting my piercings here for the last few years and have always had a comfortable experience. I decided to let an apprentice piercer do my next set, and was blown away by Kinsey’s professionalism and kindness while piercing. She did a wonderful job and I would love to have her do my next one!

Very unprofessional. I have had good experiences here but definitely will not be going back in the future and will not be recommending anyone. My boyfriend went in to get his nose pierced and after paying we were told to come back in 20-25 minutes. 7:45. we left and came back to the shop at 7:47. before even walking in the doors the piercer came out and said Okay we need to hurry now because you showed up really late I didnt think being two minutes late was really a big deal because we were told he was the last piercing of the day and we didnt do it purposefully. The piercer took him to the back room, didnt even ask him if he wanted me to go back for support and when i tried walking back because in all my past experiences someone has been allowed in the room with me she had already shut the door. I thought maybe they had changed rules so i just stayed out, but then after the piercing my boyfriend comes out clearly disappointed and tells me while aback there she was super unprofessional and rude. After him apologizing multiple times she responds with, well here we actually try and respect other peoples time very passive aggressively as if we werent only there two minutes past the specific time. and also saying Do you even want to do the piercing anymore which doesnt make sense because we had already paid. During the piercing he also tells me she was very shaky and visibly upset, which is not how you want the person piercing your body to be acting. Also after receiving the piercing he was given no instructions on how to care for it and just handed the aftercare. When he was finished and left the room she immediately left and went back into the employees area upset and the only apology he got after him being visibly uncomfortable was her saying, Sorry if i was a dick. I just feel like no matter what in a situation like this if you are that upset to the point where you are shaking and being rude and passive aggressive to customers you should just give them a refund or have someone else do the piercing. I just know we will not be going back and I hope anyone that plans on going doesnt show up even one minute late so they dont get treated how my boyfriend did.Also for anyone wondering the piercers name was Shelby. just incase you want to avoid an uncomfortable situation.

We had a great experience here. Took both our kids for ear piercings in different spots. The staff was all very friendly, and gave us lots of choices. They were patient because it took us a while to decide what to get. The tech who did the piercings was friendly and fun and made the kids feel very comfortable. She listened to each kid and placed their piercings exactly where they wanted them. Both kids said it didnt even hurt. We left with good instructions and everything we needed for aftercare. Kids were so happy with their piercings and jewelry. We will definitely be back.

I took my daughter to the Northtown Mall Silver Safari to get her ears pierced. A few weeks later, she ended up having a reaction to the nickel in the earrings she was pierced with. I called them to ask about switching the earrings to titanium. They said yes we needed to switch them right away so I drove across town to do that. Once I got there, the woman working there decided that it was better to wait until the 2 month mark the change them out because they switching the earrings now (at the 3 week mark) would be really uncomfortable for my baby…meanwhile she’ll just need to suffer through this horrible reaction that was clearly causing her pain and discomfort.I called the valley location (different owners) and asked for a second opinion. They informed me that her ears will never heal as long as she’s reacting like this. They told me to bring her and they’d help us. The woman who helped us was so great! She changed the earrings out so fast. My baby was not in pain or uncomfortable at all. We were able to choose flat backs as opposed to the giant butterfly backed earrings she was wearing. Her ears looked better before we even walked out of the store. A few days have passed and she’s back to my happy smiling baby again and her ears are no longer swollen, bleeding and red. Between the two stores I highly recommend the valley!

Legitimately loved this piercing shop! Every woman working hypes you up so much. It’s genuinely such a confidence booster coming here! The shop itself is located in the mark on the second floor. It’s well maintained and well stocked with a variety of goodies. My favorite part about this shop truly is the employees. There vibes right from the start make you feel welcome and comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Once I read good reviews about this piercing shop I decided that was going to be the place I got my nose pierced! So glad I did, Maria was very patient with me as I picked out my jewelry, Anna my piercer made sure everything was sterilized and it was done, quick and easy! I ended up not liking the original jewelry I first picked out but I ended up going back to hopefully get it replaced with something smaller and Maria went out of her way to help me pick something else out, I was so nervous about asking but she reassured me that it was perfectly okay and she wanted me to be happy with it overall. Such good service and very little wait time!

We had a wonderful experience with Cailyn while getting my 1 year old daughters ears pierced. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and very thorough in going over everything with us. She took the time to answer any questions. The shop was very clean and everyone on staff was sweet to wave to my daughter as she said “hi” to everyone. I have gone to multiple piercing studios, but never have I gone to a place that is so caring like Silver Safari. It is woman owned and woman ran, they made it the most comfortable piercing experience Ive ever had. I had gotten a nose piercing on my nostril for $70 (I had gotten the more expensive jewelry option). Not only is the pricing amazing, but you get numbing cream and saline solution included! I was also a walk-in. Amazing place 10000/10, dont go anywhere else but here!

Love love love Silver Safari! Ive gotten 99% of my piercing from them! Anna is normally who I see, and she is absolutely amazing! Ive also been pierced by Steph a few times, too, and she is also really good! Will forever come here for jewelry and piercings! All the staff is really friendly and willing to help!

I have gotten my nips, navel, septum, nostril, and as of today my daith done there. The gals are suuuper sweet and genuinely seem to care about you as a person instead of just some money coming in- the sweet girl who helped me out with paperwork/picking jewelry today loved seeing pics/videos of my ferret, I didnt feel rushed at all (made sure not to take too much of her time even with the place not too busy though lol) I have had zero issues or infections with any of my piercings and theyre so quick and as relatively painless as piercings can be. Prices are fantastic as well.Weekdays are super quiet and theyll take care of you quickly! Weekends are PACKED especially Friday night and Saturday- be patient, it might be a longer wait but I swear its worth it.

After calling and them telling me they dont take appointments but to come in because they were not busy. We got in and they told us to wait a half hour around the mall. We came back exactly that time they said. But someone got here just before us how is that possible when we already checked in half hour ago. So we had to wait another half hour to get my daughters lip pierced. This is very unprofessional they didnt even try to call me before they took someone back before us!

Came in to get a conch piercing and they were extremely helpful! Saydee did my piercing and she was absolutely amazing!!! She was nice, knowledgeable and informative. Let me know what she would be doing every step. My go to place for peircings.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We took our one year old there today. I was worried as any mom would be but the wonderful peeps there set me at ease! We had a gal work with us, Andralinn you rock girl! She was so sweet and efficient. Our baby girl only cried for a second and then was immediately handed a lollipop! AMAZING! So gracious and so sweet with our baby. Thanks SS!

Went there today to get a piercing and was told they take walk ins until 6:30 but they cut it off around 6 pm so I ended up driving thirty minutes for nothing.Otherwise beautiful studio. Wish I got the chance to experience it

Sterling silver jewelry I bought started to rust while wearing in my daith piercing.

I had a great experience getting my ears pierced at Silver Safari at Spokane Valley Mall. My piercer’s name was Saydee and she was so nice and comforting and encouraging. She did an absolutely perfect job and I couldn’t be happier!!!

I’ve gone here for almost all of my piercings but most recently when I went to go downsize my tragus they put in a bar that was too small and caused my skin to start growing over the piercing. This is a huge health risk and they wanted me to pay for a new bar to put in for the piercing. I later learned from another piercers who is APP certified that this was a case of gross negligence, and furthermore the titanium they used wasn’t high enough quality for this piercing and will cause permanent issues.

The staff is so welcoming and they do such a good job with piercing. I got my conch pierced a few days ago and I’ve had no problem so far!

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time. She was a little nervous and they were fantastic with her, helping make it the best experience. They did both ears at the same time and my daughter said she didnt even feel it.

Went to get new holes for my seconds because they had too much scar tissue to go through (so I was told) turns out the piercer made the new hole through the other one so I now have two outs for my one entry hole. They continue to get infected and I can’t use them. Don’t recommend getting pierced by them unless you do a background cjeck

This place is such a waste of money and omg is the jewelry awful. I got 2 rings for my spider bites after having them for 4 weeks and my god was it a terrible decision. I thought 4 weeks would be alright to switch cause my piercings were fully healed, but after putting the rings in they completely ravaged my piercings and just wouldnt come out. I got 2 clicker rings and it took an incredible amount of force to take one out and im still stuck with the other one in. The rings also made my lip swell a lot, I bled from my piercing and had puss come out of it. Simple things like eating that didnt hurt at all became such issue I just couldnt eat with them. I have no idea what went wrong with it, i just bought 2 piercings but it was so painful and I feel so wronged after it, screw this place.

I had a great experience getting my septum pierced by Saydee! She was professional, encouraging, and informative. It was really fast also.

Cailyn was so professional and patient while piercing my daughters ears. She took her time, explained well, and was very comforting. All staff during our visit were friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of quality jewelry and priced well. The store was clean and organized. Thank you Silver Safari. We will return.

Super disappointed. I have had my nose pierced for years and just haven’t had anything in the last few months. (I’ve taken my nose ring out for a couple months many times before and had my tattoo place put it back in and have never had a problem.). I figured since I was at the mall anyways I’d run in. I asked for a new nose hoop and explained that I use the smaller gauge and there might be a tiny bit of scar tissue but am not super familiar with how it all works. She suggested this snap hoop and I just figured she knew best. She then said she needed to use a stretcher bar. She pushed it and kept going even though it clearly was hitting scar tissue that tried to close up. It was so painful. After getting the hoop in I thought maybe it was too thick but decided she would know. The next morning my nose was SO SWOLLEN and hurt so bad that I just took it out. (Which was super hard with this snap hoop considering how sore and swollen the area was).

Stephanie and Allie are awesome. Very knowledgeable and nice. I got the Daith piercing for my migraines. Ive had them for 45 yrs. Its been 3 months and they are gone!! No migraines. The other piercing was just because.

Just went here yesterday on my birthday, and it was a lovely experience! The staff were very nice, and they had a good selection of jewelry for me. I was pierced by Saydee, and she was so sweet! She explained everything well, both the process and aftercare. It was quick, not super painful, and I really appreciated how sanitary it was. It was also nice that my friend got to sit in the room to watch. I will definitely be coming here in the future for my piercings, and will take them up on their offer to change my jewelry for free in a few months.

The staff was very patient and supportive when my son wanted to get his ears pierced. We chose needle over a piercing gun and the professional piercer was absolutely amazing. She was encouraging but also wanted to ensure my son hadnt changed his mind, she gave him time to become comfortable. I couldnt be happier! I also had my nose pierced and had an easy and wonderful experience!

Very affordable, skilled and sweet people who work here. Also very patient, and pretty painless as well. The prices included jewelry and the after care solution.

Paid $87 for 8mm nose rings, took it into a jeweler and paid $30 to have it downsized to a 7mm because the piercing tech said a 6mm is to small.I went back in less than a week later and the 7mm is still to big,the piercing tech tried a 6mm and it fits perfect. I had to pay another 58.76 for another ring they should have been able to get into my nose nose the first time. Im very upset and will share this experience with many people. I have spent a lot of money in this place. Silver safari should have given me credit for the cost of the second ring! This is on them not me!! Thanks Silver safari, clearly that piercing tech didnt know what she was doing and shouldnt be touching any one.

Today i went in to get my third ear piercings. Everyone working there was so so nice! I was pierced by Shelby and she was amazing! I was very nervous but she was very calming and overall just awesome. Will definitely be going to this one instead of other locations.

My 11 year old had their ears pierced here today and Stephanie was a fantastic piercer. My kid opted to have them pierced with needle over gun and Stephanie was super patient with their questions and nervousness.Would definitely recommend!

I got my ears pierced here twice (one hoop on each ear.) Very friendly, and professional. Everything was clean and sterile. They use needles not guns. My earrings are healing great, no infection. Highly recommend! P.s. they have titanium earrings, thats the only metal I can have in my ears. Great selection!

I had Tanner. Tanner has done 5 piercing on myself and a few on my daughter. I enjoy going in and everyone is nice and informative. I drive 45 mins not because there is no where close but because I enjoy the atmosphere here and Tanner has made every visit enjoyable. Thank you and a special Thank you to Tanner!!!!

Very nice place! Had almost all my piercings done here (angel bites, double gauges, both nose rings and tongue piercing), employees are very professional but kind and reassuring. Would definitely recommend to people that are nervous about their first piercing!

I stopped in to see about getting my septum jewelry swapped, and get both nostrils pierced. All of the ladies working in there were so sweet and welcoming. The first girl who helped me was very patient with all of my questions about my jewelry options. They didn’t have quite what I wanted for my septum, so she created one for me! I am so pleased with my new jewelry and my new piercings. I highly recommend their services. I’m so glad I stopped in.

I know walking into Silver Safari that it doesnt matter who helps me its always going to be personable top notch service. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Prices are really reasonable and everything is throughly explained and clear. I dont trust my daughter with just anyone and they have proved time and again that they are the best for jewelry and piercings. Highly recommend the valley location in the mall.

I got my nipples and helix repierced, by Stephanie and Shelby who both did such a great job! Both piercings went by smoothly and quickly, typically I’d get a bit nervous about new piercings, but I felt comfortable the whole time :) 10/10 recommend!

I have been going to Silver Safari since about 2004. Both Valley and Northtown are both very good. I have had my nostril, lip, navel, a cheek dermal anchor, and several cartilage piercings done by their piercers with no problems. Its a really good place to go with your teens, parents and kids are both comfortable in the atmosphere.

Only place I will get my piercings. I trust them, and they are always so careful of sterilizing everything and make sure not to contaminate you or the product. Always friendly and helpful.

I went in to get my ears pierced and was really nervous. The lady that pierced my ears, Bri, was super nice! She was very talkative and helped calm my nerves. Great service!

My daughter and I got our noses pierced here and Stephanie was amazing! She kept my daughter calm and collected through her fear of needles. She walked us through post piercing care and made it all easy to understand. Their selection of jewelry and prices are great! My daughter got a nose ring and I got an opal stud. We both love our piercings and would definitely come back to get more!

I didn’t catch her name but the girl working with long black hair and a few nose piercings is a stellar employee. I’ve been into silver safari numerous occasions and she provided the best service I’ve ever received! The place was busy and she had a good attitude, was knowledgeable and so friendly! It’s rare to have pleasant customer service experiences these days and I really appreciated her good attitude.

Sadie and the rest of the staff took such good care of me, I love them!!! I had a friend that wanted to reopen her ears and I really wanted to pierce my ears… but I wasn’t sure if I wanted it… I saw her do it and wanted to do it after see the attention and care: the staff was so patient with me and made sure that I was okay with every piercing! Pretty good place to go get a piercing at, I got my ear done (helix). The price was cheaper, then I thought it would be.It does feel a little Daunting being a guy, but I did feel welcome.

Wouldnt come back again. Ended up have to remove my piercing. Went in to have a stud removed and replaced with a hoop and they couldnt do it. Snapped the ball off the hoop while it was in my nose. Had a friend come help me and they were shocked at how deep in my nose the piercing was. They couldnt get the hoop in either given the awkward angle of the hole itself. Go to a tattoo parlor.

I have about 25 piercings and take really good care of them. after healing my industrial for 3 years i was excited to switch it for a new one. the girls there shoved in a bigger gauge bar without telling me and now my entire piercing is swelled up. disappointed they ruined my progress.

Extremely disappointed. I went the other day with my little brother to get his ears pierced. They said we could grab a number and come up when it was our turn. We waited almost 2 hours.. they said they wouldn’t be doing anymore because they were about to close…. Can you imagine waiting 2 hours to get something and then them saying never mind we’re closing in 5 minutes.. I talked to the store associate then We asked for a manager. The managers exact words were “I kinda understand where you’re coming from”How is that? You kinda understand that making people wait hours for something they never got was ok? At 30 minutes to an hour prior to closing why wasn’t anyone told that they shouldn’t grab another ticket. This poor lady was there for her daughters birthday and they refused her and her daughter as well (they had been waiting longer than me) They didn’t care at all!! Is the owner gonna allow this? Don’t you care enough about the people who bring you money? The customers who make your dreams a reality. It’s unfair treatment and not ok! The people who waited should have been offered an appointment time the next morning and a discount for hours wasted.

I love this piercing shop! Everyone is so kind and respectful, they help you swap your jewelry for free too! The only small issue is that ive been given slightly oversized jewelry for example, my tongue piercing. But besides that they are the sweetest and ive never had an unnatural issue with any of my piercings. Good quality metal for all of those with allergies tometal too!!

Took my oldest to start the process of ear gauges. The gal was amazing. Walked through the process and answered any questions we had. In a few weeks, we go back for the next step. Im going to look at getting a new piercing there. Great place to go!

Awesome experience! They did my daughters first ear piercings. I was so impressed with how patient and kind our piercer was. Also CLEAN, everyone was super hygienic, and my daughters ears have healed wonderfully.

The place is very clean and professionally operated by a great staff. It may be in the mall with mall mark ups. But the professionalism and atmosphere is worth the price in my opinion. They alsp offer help with putting new jewelry in that can be difficult. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new piercing or new body jewelry.

Got in super fast the front counter girl Tori was super nice and got the paperwork for both my friend and I done in 10 minutes. The piercer Mak was super nice and fun made getting a piercing enjoyable she got us in and out within 20 minutes. My friend and I were just walks in and got the best service. Definitely deserve 5 stars and will be coming back for all my other piercings in the future!!

I went in on Friday 5/2/23 to ask if My Missing 13 year old Grandaughter had been in there that day because we got a tip she might be , showed 2 employees behind the counter the Missing Persons poster of my grandaughter, they took down both my number and her Dads number to call if she ever came in as We have been So Worried about her for almost over a month. They Promised they Would call Us or call the Police . Well Guess what, my Grandaughter went in the very next day Saturday 5/3/23 for a nose piercing we have found out and No one From Silver Safari in Spokane Valley Mall in Spokane Valley Washington Ever Contacted Us Nor the Police As They Promised They Would. So if They Cant be Trusted to Help With A Missing Child then How Can I Tell People Its a Good Place to Go. I Sure Wouldnt Trust Them to Touch Me Or Anyone. I usually give Great reviews when Merited but They Totally Dropped the Ball on This Most Sensitive Information They Should Have Told Someone About.

I got my septum done here and i’d never gone before. the walk-in only was a little odd but it was convenient for me (who’d only come to the mall to look around and decided on a whim to get a piercing). they were extremely nice and super helpful with all the questions i asked. it was relatively quick and not as painful as i thought it’d be! they’re great and so far, i haven’t had any troubles with my piercing. definitely coming here again for my next couple of piercings. :)

I recently went into Silver Safari in the Valley Mall to change piercing jewelry, twice. The first change wasnt exactly what I was going for, so I went back a week later to make another change. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They changed out my jewelry quickly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend them.

My coworker had referenced me to this shop to get my nipples pierced and it was the best experience I could ask for! All the ladies in the shop were very nice and helpful and my piercer Mak was incredible! He did a perfect job and made me feel very very comfortable and even gave me some good laughs.. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Amazing staff. Exceptional quality jewelery and some of the best pricing around. Went in to get my 3yo daughters ear lobes peirced and the staff did an amazing job making sure she was comfortable and ready for the piercings! She didnt even flinch or move and the staff did an excellent job making sure both ears were done at the same time

Anna pieced my nose for me a few months ago before covid hit the U.S and she was the sweetest! She made me feel really comfortable, and even helped me touch up on where my makeup was smeared by the piercing. Everything was really clean and the staff are really friendly. Definitely recommend this place, & will be returning for my future piercings!

Very professional. Ive had problems withy ear piercing. They told me to wait until my scar tissue healed to start again. Came back a couple years later. They had great advice for my piercings (just one set on my ear lobes) and future care. Ive had no issues! Absolutely great. Im used to my holes getting infected all the time and I havent had a single one. Theyve been pierced 7 months now. Took my baby girl in. They advised me to wait a little longer. When I brought her back they were great. She only had one lobe get infected (10 weeks later) and their instructions worked great. Totally clean and healthy 48 hours later. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I was so excited to get my third piercing on my ear. I was extremely nervous and the girl doing my piercing was not reassuring at all and was rushing through the process. I didn’t trust her whatsoever and this made me more uncomfortable and scared. I was asking questions to make myself less nervous but she answered all of them rudely. She reassured me that she would give me a warning before piercing my ear but she proceeded to do it with no warning causing me to flinch. She got very angry when i flinched and took her gloves off and started to storm out of the room and when I asked if we could try again she told me “absolutely not.” It sounds to me like she didn’t want to deal with a nervous costumer and wanted to do a quick messy job. However the lady who originally helped us was very kind and reassuring. I won’t be returning here because of poor customer service.

We have had one very good experience here getting a nose peircing so we went back and had a not so great experience. The employee who did the paperwork and payment was nice but the person doing the peircing was very short with me, didnt explain much, and was not reassuring in the slightest. It felt like she was getting close the the end of her work day and didnt want to be doing it anymore so she just wanted to get it over with (we came in 4hrs before they closed not when they were about to close).

Jess was absolutely amazing for my 8yr olds first piercing. My daughter really wanted to get her ears pierced but was really nervous it would hurt. Jess spent a lot of time with her and was patient, encouraging, understanding, and listened to her worries! My daughter ultimately decided to go through with it, and is so happy with her ears now and so proud of herself! Thank you, Jess, for making this a hugely positive experience!

Absolutely LOVE my new piercing! I went in a week before I was planning on getting my nose pierced, asked a few questions and each one was answered politely!Came in the next week, on my birthday and asked a few more questions while I chose a piercing and paid. Again, the ladies there were incredibly sweet and helped put my nerves at ease. They even gave me a birthday discount which was awesome!Stephanie was my piercer and she made sure I okay’d everything and that I knew what was going on the entire time. Everything was clean and sterile and overall, a great experience for someone who has never gotten anything pierced besides their ears. I absolutely recommend going there to get a piercing! Clean environment and amazing customer care!

Went there to get a Medusa piercing today, was pierced by Anna. She was sweet and reassuring and once we agreed on placement she was very fast (which is important to me-i dont want time to freak out) Definitely will be back. It seemed like it was all women who were working there which was a cool change from some of the male dominated tattoo shops. Good selection of jewelry, and great customer service from everyone there-no one came in who wasnt helped withing a minute. They were upfront about when the next appointment they could schedule me for was (an hour-one of the piercers had called in sick) and were right on time and true to that time frame. Really smooth comfortable experience. If youre looking to get a piercing— especially if its a new experience for you— I would recommend them. The price of the piercing also includes after care instructions and supplies and they were clean, professional, and welcoming.

My 4 year old really wanted her ears pierced and so off we went. The staff was awesome with her and 2 piercers did them simultaneously. It was relatively pain free and the placement is perfect. I recently have gotten 3 piercings here and each time has been such a wonderful experience. One of my piercings starting acting up (my fault) and I went in to see what I could do. The girl helping me (I think her name was Sarah) went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The most amazing experience every ! My six year old has been asking for earrings for about two years - so we surprised her today ! The girl who took care if us was so nice! Tori was her name. She didnt mine my daughters constant chatter, helped her pick out the earrings and was able to grab another girl so they could pierce her ears at the same time . would 100% go back to get her another pair of earrings when she is able to change them and i want to get a daith piercing so i would be happy to go there for myself.

Always love coming in here. I have got alot of piercings done between both locations and have had a wonderful experience each time. Wouldnt go anywhere else. I have also taken my daughter for her first piercing and they walked her through everything and made her very comfortable.

DO NOT GO HERE!! THE ABSOLUTE PAINFUL PIERCING EVER HAD. If there was a no star option this would be it. Firstly it took us 30 minutes to get into the place, which can happen especially in a mall. Immediately entering they tell us they’ll be with us in a minute, after another 15 minutes we got checked in to sign all the waivers required, which was no issue as everywhere is required to do this. Our biggest issue was how they made us pay for it immediately but wont tell us how long of a wait it is or how many people are waiting ahead of us, but require everyone to be in the store at all times unless you want to be skipped through and loose the precious hour you’ve been standing in a massively crowded, stuffy store, not knowing how long you have until you can get out of there and into some fresh air! After two hours me and my two friends finally got helped. Now the piercer, Shelby, should not be allowed to pierce. Out of all ten piercings in very sensitive spots on the body, my nose piercing was the MOST painful piercing I’ve ever had!!! She pierced all three of our noses with a very loose stabilization, so the skin was pushed into the metal tube when piercing through because it was not held tight enough to slide the needle in without taking the skin with it. After simultaneously going into shock and bleeding irregularly, we realized this isn’t how piercings regularly are. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!

The people at the shop are awesome. Anna is my favorite though. Shes funny and super sweet. She knows what she is doing but is super humble. Today was try three on my bridge but I just dont have enough meat there. Instead we just switched the piercing to a nose ring because that cost the same. I love it! She is who I will continue to go to. Thank you Anna!

So it’s my sister’s 21st birthday and she has gotten a piercing here every year on her birthday since she was 16. We called to ask when they would be done piercing for the night and were told 6:45. We arrived at 6, waited in line until 6:15, and were told they were booked for the night. We walked by again around 6:30 and they were all standing there talking not piercing anyone. Very disappointing and will not be doing birthday piercings here any longer.

Let me preface this by saying that all of their licensed piercers here are not APP (Association of Professional Piercers) certified and that is something that I now know is so CRUICAL in having a good piercing experience as well as outcome. I was pierced horribly incorrect the first time, came back two weeks later after getting my barbells taken out, and had the most traumatic piercing and overall experience. My piercer said, Oh your left one is crooked. Ill redo it right now. She proceed to take out the barbell, re-prep the needle, and repierce the same spot all within a span of five minutes. After all was said and done, plus $130+ later... my piercings are still crooked and glaringly incorrectly placed.What happened was not okay. I went to a professional who is APP certified and he told me that I shouldve waited at least 4-6 weeks to get them redone. The way that they were placed/how crooked my piercings were increases the chances of them getting snagged and ripped out.Moral of the story: Do your research and make sure that your piercer has a portfolio of past work (good reputation) and is APP certified. Make sure that youre getting pierced with high quality jewelry like titanium. Have your anatomy assessed (some anatomy cannot accommodate some piercings and your piercer should know that and be honest with you about that. Be wary of those who just simply pierce without assessing). I will never come back here.

I had lost the ball off my navel ring which I had for more years than I want to say. Anna worked and looked and searched and found me a ball that would work with my barbell. Anna was wonderful and so pleasant and helpful. She is the best!

Went here with my aunt. NO ONE paid any attention did not get a single greeting or asked if we wanted help waited a little over 15 minutes before leaving.( was mostly waiting to see if they would pay any attention to two people standing at the display glass counter. no luck)

Huge shoutout to the ladies at Silver Safari in the valley mall. I decided to gauge my ears from 18g to 6g last March. A good friend suggested I go to Silver Safari to pick up a gauge kit, but since I didnt feel comfortable doing the process myself, I asked if they could do it for me and they said no problem. So every 2 months I would go out and have them do the next size down for me. Each visit was $25 or less, depending on what jewelry I wanted to go with. When I got to 8 gauge I had my own jewelry that I had purchased previously, and they had no problem using the jewelry I brought and just charged me for the size down service, which I think was $5 or $10. Easy peasy. Im now at 6g and very happy. My ears are nice and healthy and I love them. I HIGHLY recommend Silver Safari for all ear gauging!

I have been a Silver Safari customer 20+ years. They have now lost 3 stars from me. I went on January 3rd and again on January 22nd. Their body piercers are great. Their customer service and ear piercing staff are rude and need more training.The ear piercer shoved earrings through my healed ear piercings, causing one to bleed. She re-pierced one of the holes with the earring. It hurt so bad that I didnt allow her to put in more jewelry (I had 4 more to do.) My ears were not disinfected or cleaned. I developed a bad infection in the piercing she shoved an earring through.On the same day I got an ear piercing from Saydee. She did amazing. Everything was clean and quick. She was very friendly.2 weeks later I waited in line for an hour and asked to see Saydee. The woman at the door said we couldnt see Saydee, said she was too busy. I saw Saydee standing in the back. The door lady insisted I tell her what I needed. I told her I wanted Saydee to look at the infection. (Saydee had given me a card with her name and told me I could come in with any issues or questions.)The lady said,Just show me because I have all the same knowledge, training and experience as Saydee. Then she looked at my ear and recommended I take the earring out. I said, I really need a second opinion on that before I take it out. Then she said, It will be over 2 hours to see Saydee. She is very busy and has several people ahead of you. I only saw people in the store getting ears pierced, staff were standing around, and their policy is no appointments, only first come, first served. She then said, Piercings never really heal, they just get smaller and smaller. That depends on how they healed in the first place, if the earring was removed to early, and how long the jewelry was removed. Then the door lady admitted she IS NOT A PIERCER. At this point, I walked out.Thankfully I was able to get advice from another piercer outside of Silver Safari. I was able to clear up the infection with H2Ocean. Silver Safari should have recommended this in the first place, as they carry it and even give coupons for it with a piercing.

Super clean! They are taking lots of safety precautions! You have to wait outside until your party is escorted to the jewelry counter. Once your paper work is finished and your jewelry is selected they will take one person at a time to the piercer. My piercer was kind and easy going.

Original Review: One Star. The employees care much more about making a sale than they do the integrity of your piercing. When a customer tells you something about their own body and jewelry, LISTEN to them. Dont tell them theyre wrong and shove the wrong gauge of jewelry through a hole just because. Theyve caused trauma to TWO different piercings of mine. Buy jewelry here, but dont use their services. Highly uneducated piercers.Edited Review: After I called to reach out, the piercing manager was helpful in getting me the correct jewelry, and exchanged the items for no cost. She also provided me with gift certificates. She was helpful and honest about what jewelry would be best for me. While she made the situation right on my end, I still stand by the previous statement that several of their piercing staff are highly uneducated.

I have been in to the Valley location a hand full of times for numerous reason, and every time the employees working have been so friendly! During my most recent visits, my nose ring had fallen out in the shower that morning and I rushed in because I was afraid it would close up. The young lady working cleaned it and popped it in for me in no time! I was so grateful! Whenever I have had a question, they give me such detailed information, even when Im not in to buy anything, and I think its really great to have people who really know their stuff and are always willing to help you out. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and tons of jewelry options! I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone!

The ladies that pierced my daughters’ ears were sweet, calm & professional. My personal experience with my Daith piercing was exceptional as well. They knew exactly what they are doing, explains every step, very clean atmosphere & so friendly. Very knowledgeable about what needs to be done! The communication with Silver Safari and their customers is really wonderful. I called to see if my piercer (Mak) was in; at the time they were doing walk ins only, and I was sent to voicemail. They called me within the hour.The jewelry options are vast and the piercers are experienced as well as informative. It really is worth it to get your piercings here.

I bought a septum ring a month ish ago and had problems with it, when I informed Amber of my issues with the jewellery she was amazing and even gave me a discount on the replacement I was buying. She also pierced my tragus today and like every other piercing Ive gotten from here it was a great experience. I will always come here for any and all piercings I get.

Was going to visit on 4/21/22. Mask requirements have gone away for WA state... We were going to come in but once we got to the door, there was a thing to take a number and WAAAIIITT..... JUST TO GET IN......not for a piercing.... Just to walk in!!! This wasnt even a thing DURING the high point of the pandemic, when we visited last....All employees were wearing masks, and whatever. Sure you have the right to chose. Thats not a big deal. Do you! But Im not going to wait like the DMV because you only let two people in the store at a time. Saw multiple people come up and walk away too because of this. Enjoy losing business because of this.

I went in yesterday for a Daith piercing and everyone there was kind and thoughtful and very informative. I had lots of questions and they had amazing answers. Saydee did my piercing and she was lovely! She explained every step to me and distracted me through the whole piercing. This was my second experience at Silver Safari and it was just as amazing if not better than before. Everyone was very encouraging as this was my first cartilage piercing and its one of the most painful. I will forever be a customer at Silver Safari.

Unfortunately today my piercer was a little rude to me because she kept marking the spot for my piercing in the wrong place and the third time I told her it was wrong she snap she didnt have time for this. I wish i would have left and not let her touch my face. The first hole she warmed me before she pierced me the second time there was no warning and it felt as it my face was being gutted from how rough she was she didnt use numbing jell like they usually do my piercing bleed a lot after and still hasnt stopped bleeding

Got my ni**les pierced and the lady did them way too far back (through areola instead). was recommended by another shop to take them out and let them heal and get the done again later. Highly disappointing.

My overall experience was okay however all three of my new piercings got infected even though I used their cleaning solution twice a day like I was supposed to. I didn’t take my piercings out early nor did I submerge them in water. Another problem I had was that one of the employees, after piercing my first ear with a stud, told me I had thicker ear lobes and that the swelling could cause the earring to dig into my lobe and told me to come back to change the studs to hoops if I started to have issues. I came back about a week later due to the pain the earrings were causing me because of immense swelling and had asked to have the studs changed to hoops. The woman who was helping me told me it was too soon and less than I week later I had to go to the ER in order to have it removed from my lobe because the earring had been embedded in my ear.

I like the piercings Sarah has done. I had someone else pierce my lip and today it snapped in half only a month or so old. I was a bit shocked when it happened and unfortunately the store is closed and I have to wait till tomorrow am. Hopefully they fix this and don’t charge me again. Also some of my piercings are taking a bit longer to heal not sure if it is because the titanium is colored.

Had an amazing experience here! Everyone is so caring and patient! I had my septum done today, and Makayla did a wonderful job! I luckily didnt pass out while I was out and about but my anxiety got the best of me at home, so I got really close. I called and was told that it can happen, especially with people who do have anxiety. I was super thankful too that I was given piercing aftercare advice over the phone...didnt realize I had a paper in my aftercare bag!But as for the piercing, it was painless and I was really surprised. I thought since the nose was such a sensitive area, it would hurt. But nope! Makayla placed it perfectly and I couldnt be happier! Thanks man!

I usually am not someone to leave reviews but this really made me upset. I was very excited to finally find a flower nose ring in my size! I asked to make sure this nose ring was my size and they assured me it was. I purchased the nose ring and went on my way. Later I decided to put the nose ring in and have had it in for several weeks. I just went to change it out for another nose ring i had that was my original nose ring and it wouldnt fit at all. They did not obviously check that it was my correct size that i asked and had given me one that was to small so now all of my other jewelry does not fit.

During the purchasing process, she dumped out the dish holding the nose rings in her hand and sorted them to find the color I asked for. I then asked for help to change out the new jewellery for the old. She got everything ready but didn’t sanitise the new nose ring, only the area around the piercing. It’s gross to think about how many other people touched the jewellery with their bare hands before she put it in. The quality of the jewellery is fine for the price, but the lack of sanitation is unreasonable.

Didnt inform us that hoops arent the most sanitary for fresh piercings. told us we were purchasing Titanium but it was just titanium plated. we both got infections despite 2x cleaning a day. started getting bubbles and was told to pop which was a no no. I got a bad infection after 3 months. luckily another piercing shop gave me great advice on fixing it and once it appeared healed, two months later, I switched to a stud and have had zero issues over the next month. they also told me they keep our record on file in case we had questions. I called to confirm which gauge was in my ear and they admitted they really dont keep any info. nope, never again.

Lady that worked with us helped us get tension hoops in our granddaughters ears did a great job of diverting her attention. This made the whole process much easier. Our grand is only two years old. Sometimes she can be a bit fussy. But the saleswoman handled her like a boss. Dispight her apparent discomfort when work with children. But they both made it through the ordeal. Now they are both stronger for it. And now our little one has earrings that arent easily removed.

I just got two dermals on my throat/chest and Saydee was awesome. She made the experience very chill and fun, not to mention she was super quick with the whole procedure. Only place Ill get pierced in Spokane.

I love this place, I gave 4 start only because the balls sometimes pop off my jewelry and, act like they are stipped out and wont go back on...so I always have to buy more. But they are the nicest people ever! And they do know where to place a piercing.. They use a little pen like everyone else so you can see where it would be and suggested higher/lower etc.

We took 2 of our daughters there to get their ears pierced and there were 5 employees standing around doing NOTHING and not 1 person said hello, or welcome in or we will be right with you or anything. They made eye contact with us several times and not a word was said to us. After waiting for 5 minutes we left, went to Claires and received A+ service with only 1 employee in the whole store! Silver safari had 5 people available! and not even a hello! Garbage.

*HORROR STORY*I went in to get my 3 year old nose piercing changed out. I didn’t know about the gauges, I’d always stuck to the smallest. I found one that I thought was cute, the lady did NOT inform me it was 3 sizes too big. When she changed out my piercing, she started right below the hole and angled down. She repierced my nose (Got a second professional opinion on this, they confirmed that she did, in fact, repierce it with a dull, larger- gauged nose stud) Most painful thing I’ve ever experienced.The original hole closed above it, creating a gnarly scar. Then where she repierced failed to heal. After months I ended up having to take it out. It would not heal. I tried changing metals, switched to smaller guages, everything.So I lost my 3 year old nose piercing and gained a horror story and a scar.I might just keep reposting this review to warn people not to go to this store, or in hopes that this Silver Safari will actually train their employees before letting them stick things in people.

Great place always very clean and helpful! My wife lost the front to one of her earrings and they knew exactly what she needed and even helped her put it back together free of charge. Definitely worth going to a specialized shop that you can trust when you need things.

I have my septum pierced but I have never changed the ring and I was really really nervous about it, which I felt silly about because its already pierced. I went into Silver Safari to get a new ring for it and told them I was nervous about changing it. Taylor offered to change it for me and I was so thankful because I was so nervous. We sat down and she started to unscrew the ball on my original ring, it didnt hurt one bit but my nerves took over and I started to get light headed. She was so patient and even offered me a juice box. I felt like such a wimp but she was so incredibly sweet. After I finished my juice box she went back to business and had my ring changed in like 30 seconds. I really appreciated Taylors patience and that she didnt judge me about being nervous about just changing my septum ring.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I went in to stretch my ears. I asked them if I could go from a 2g to 00. It took 20 minutes of agony and blood until they got it it. Two of the staff fought to get in in. They claimed the other ear would be way easier. After 7min of again more agony and yet more blood I finally lost my patience and demanded my money back and walked out with only 1 ear done. Nobody seemed to really be concerned that I was dripping blood all over. Not even a tissue offered. They were not professional. They should d have never attempted jumping two sizes. Now I have two different size lobes. Fml

My daughter got her septum pierced here they made an appointment for us because they were very busy they let us write back in when our appointment was ready and it took a minute or a few for my daughter to get the guts up to actually get the piercing and the lady was really patient with her which I really appreciated

I wished that I wouldnt have gone here. I had them change out my nose stud to a ring and I picked out the nose ring I wanted. They didnt even autoclave the jewelry, they just dipped one end of it in cleaner. Not to mention she picked the jewelry up out of the display case with her bare hands, so I can only imagine if someone else tried on that jewelry they probably didnt sanitize it, really hope I dont get some type of bloodbourne pathogen from this. Super unclean, they person who helped me didnt wash their hands she just put on some hand sanitizer.

A week ago I went in to get my philtrum piercing changed. They changed it just fine, but right from the get go, the bead of the jewelry kept constantly falling out. I eventually lost the bead, and had to go purchase a second one. I mentioned about it constantly falling out, no real response or apologies, just excuses. Got it changed a second time and it’s fallen out at least 5 times since I got it changed AGAIN just two days ago. They do not know what they are doing, and I will not be going back anymore ever again.

Got my cartilage pierced. I had used the cleaning solution two times a day for 4 weeks. I had a stud in and my ear was engulfing the piercing it was oozing blood and pus, had several bubbles. I went in to have it looked at and asked for a hoop. The girl told me it was supposed to look like this, a month and a half after getting pierced. I went to another piercer and had it looked at. They said it was extremely infected, they took out the piercing and we discovered the piercing was bent in my ear the metal was already changing colors. I had to let the infection drain and the hole close. Will not be returning.

I had a terrible experience at the store in the Spokane Valley Mall. A little bit of a back story of myself my brother and I are adopted, my parents are two white people. I went in to get my nose pierced for my birthday and my family came with me. My mom told the lady behind the counter that I wanted to get my nose pierced. The lady at first said ok and reached down to get the paperwork or whatever and then stopped. She looked up at us and saw two little black kids and two white older people and asked my mother if I was her biological daughter. Of course my mom calmly but annoyingly said no and added that she didnt see why that mattered. And then the lady asked for my adoption papers. I dont know about you but I think thats was ok for her to ask or even say to a biracial family. So we left and ended up going back to a tattoo shop and I got my birthday gift with out any trouble at all. Ive had some pretty hurtful things said about my family but this has really scared me for life.

Navel piercing! Omg I had such a good experience here. Amber pierced me (probably the wrong way to say that) and I was super relaxed and happy and she talked me through it and made sure I was happy with everything. So thank you Amber!

The woman working December 30th we’re extremely disrespectful and they were very unprofessional with my nose piercing. Not good customer service at all, this is the only bad experience i’ve had with employees there, they all were always nice and respectful but the lady working were very rude.

Amazing staff, have had my lobes and my daith done now and both were as close to painless as you can get when stabbed with a sharp object 😁I appreciated the aftercare help too, and can I just say Im nearly 4 months migraine-free since my daith piercing? CRAZINESS.

HORRIBLE!!! They use cheap jewellery, and don’t even know where to place the piercing. I came back in asking about a bubble and they just want to sell me something else. And they gave false advice about how to get rid of it.Seriously, just go to a tattoo parlour. It’s worth spending a little more money for better quality.

Great experience for a 7-year old’s first ear piercing. Clean, safe and comforting, the ladies were excellent in keeping my little girl cool and calm.

Only four stars because I dont believe in perfection. Never had a bad experience there. Their selection is on point and their staff all feel like friends to me. So its always my go to. 🤘

Positively THRILLED with Silver Safari! Ive had, so far, my septum, naval, and snakebites pierced with them. Every experience was amazing.. The jewerly selection is HUGE, tons to choose from - the ladies were always very nice, answered all my questions about each piericing, and kept me at ease each time as well (Im very nervous around needles 😅) I hope to make an appointment with them sometime this week to get my tongue periced. Will never go anywhere else for piercings, jewelry, or care supplies ☺

Updated,10% off was good, valley silver safari has gone down hill...I do not mind the take a number which is fine, what I really do NOT like is after waiting for my number to be called...mind you yes it was 45mins but thats fine wasnt in a rush, but I finally got called and the person to be waiting on the customer starts gabbing with her buddy...you close in an hour...save your chatting for when you dont have store full of customers, other then that awesome company, hoping North town has what Im looking for

Told them I needed titanium for my piercings bc I always reject the silver, they put titanium in my helix but didn’t put it in my nose hoop and now it got super infected and had to pay out of pocket for new jewelry even though I paid for the upgrade at the store, and the piercer was kinda annoying bc I had got my nose pierced before but she was acting like the way she did it was the only way bc I said I didn’t want it placed that low

They are the kindest people and are very professional. I have gone to them for 4 different piercings and they all look stunning.

They peirced alright but bent my earings real bad taking them out. They dont know how to put in fixed bead earings. I told the girl how to open and close them. You twist the metal to the side not pry it open. The girl didnt listen open the earings with clamps then clamped it shut. Now i have two pairs of bent earing. The fixed earings were brand new there goes $50.

Im so sorry I dont remember her name but the assistant manager pierced me today and she was so wonderful. I was not happy with one side and she was so kind and careful about the second time. Thank you again!
