Anchored Art Tattoo

I waited, somewhat impatiently if I confess, to start my biggest tattoo to date. Jeff Simon did/has done an exceptional job - the intricate detail, coloring, shading - all of it is pure perfection and I’m still in love with it just as much as day 1! (I think Jeff has better pics than I.) He understood my vision and listened empathetically as I shared what will be the memorial portion of this tattoo.The adage, you get what you pay for, is incredibly true! Anchored Art is a supremely clean, professional, fun atmosphere with exceptional tattoo artists! You can’t go wrong!!

Ill start by saying Anchored Art has a great environment, everything was meticulously clean and set up professionally which is always nice to see. Everyone was friendly and down to earth, even the customers. Real easy environment to chill for 9.5hrs in. There are incredible artists working here. Kyle Carpino took a project that I had been putting together for two years and absolutely nailed it. It was memorial tattoo for a very important dog and Im so glad I trusted Kyle with this. I gave him a rough design and an idea and told him to run with it. When I saw the finished tattoo I was floored, I feel like a got a piece of my boy back that day. Thank you so much for the amazing attention to detail and work. They even paid for my parking too which was a classy, unexpected move. Shout out to the front desk staff for the great communication too. 11/10 would recommend. Be back soon.

I’ve been going to Anchored Art for a while now and getting tattooed by Shayne. I have almost 2 full sleeves and a leg piece and I can’t go anywhere without someone making a comment on how much they like my “ink.” The shop is always clean and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the shop and if you like black and grey realism, Shayne is my favorite around.

Joseph is great! He listened to what I wanted, he made many changes and it turned out to be awesome! It is a very meaningful two tulip tattoo! I was tattooed summer of 23’ by Kyle Carpino at the downtown location and had an amazing experience! From the courtesy call to confirm my upcoming appointment all the way to the second skin being applied after my final session, I felt taken care of through the whole experience. I waited 5 years to get this particular tattoo; I wasn’t going to let just anyone tattoo such a special piece of art on me. Finding the artists at Anchored was the first time I felt confident that an artist portfolio matched the standard I had in my head for this piece. In my opinion, anchored art is the best shop in town as far as service and art skills go. I recommend Anchored, even the artists I haven’t been tattooed by personally, to anyone looking for an outstanding piece of art!

I am in the middle of getting a half sleeve done and Anchored Art has been nothing but professional since day 1 at my consultation. I waited a long time to get started, which shows you their artists are in high demand. Everyone from the front desk to the artists themselves (I’m specifically working with Nick Lawrence) have been friendly, clear about processes and expectations, and professional. Their work speaks for itself and I feel very confident that the piece will turn out how I envisioned it. Nick has been receptive to feedback and provided years worth of insight due to his experience and expertise in making sure the design would translate the way I want it to when it is finished. There’s a reason Anchored Art has a great reputation. They employ qualified and talented artists and each location I have been to has also been very clean and organized, and the waiting areas are comfortable and nice looking.

I just got my first tattoo, Miles did it, and it was such an amazing experience!! I got some handwriting on my forearm and the actual tattoo is adorable, and exactly what I wanted. Miles played my favorite music and made sure I was comfortable and loving my stencil/tattoo the entire time. Anya, the receptionist and apprentice was so sweet as well, I had first came to the shop just to ask some questions and ended up scheduling an appointment because she was so helpful and understanding! Everyone I interacted with was excited, welcoming, and so talented.

I had such an amazing experience at Anchored Art. It had been a very long time since my last tattoo. Was looking to get a sizable piece. I was anxious! Eric made me so comfortable in both the consultation and appointment. The art is by far the most beautiful piece I’ve ever received. I’m already making more appointments to add on! I got my first small tattoo here in January by Chris and it was an all around amazing experience. Then just last week got a larger piece done on my back by Cam. I wanted a black and grey realism sleeve and was immediately pointed in the direction of Chris Freeborg. Chris was very helpful on walking me through the process and listening to what i wanted. He was very honest and upfront on what parts of my idea were realistic and helped modify them in a way that would help the tattoo have the best outcome overall, while still keeping my ideas relevant. the shop is very clean and well maintained, and the front desk people are very nice and down to earth (it didn’t feel like your typical tattoo shop). while the prices are on the higher end of what i’m used to, i feel it was well worth the price for how amazing it turned out, especially for something that’s on you forever. if you want an incredible piece that you’ll be proud to show off i definitely recommend anchored!

So far I have had three tattoos done at this shop ny two different artists and each experience has been great. Tha atmosphere is welcoming and the artists are always so nice and accommodating. I am taking my little brother here for his first tattoo ASAP he had asked me to take him for his first and this is the shop I choose without a doubt as they are the best 🖤

Anchor has a great reputation and it is because of there great artists. Just had a 7 hr session with Travis B and he absolutely nailed it. My first tattoos at 61 and he made me feel great. I came here for my first ever tattoo and it was such an amazing experience. i went in there not knowing exactly what i wanted and they were super helpful making sure i was satisfied with the tattoo they helped me come up with. i was super satisfied with the final product and will definitely be coming back to the same artist for my future tattoos

I travel a little over two hours get tattooed at this shop. The atmosphere is great, and everyone is very welcoming. Reggie nailed the vision I had for the tattoo that my daughter and I wanted. They turned out so good.

Mariyah was FABULOUS! From our very first interaction with booking my appointment and planning my tattoo Mariyah was encouraging and helpful. At my appointment I felt comfortable and safe. So I put down a deposit for a small tattoo and they told me it would be around 6 to 7 hundred dollars!!!! But I went to mom’s tattoo for a different tattoo and they did so good I asked them about the tattoo I wanted on my back and she said it would at most take an hour which is 165!!!! So the price that anchored art tattoo gave me was absolutely ridiculous!!! I got the tattoo done even larger then I wanted at moms and it still only took an hour and it’s beautiful!!! So thank god I didn’t waste my money going to anchored art tattoo where they would have ripped me off!!!!!! Susan is the one who did the tattoo at moms and it was amazing!!!!

Everyone here is great, with many different styles covered and you will never have to worry about leaving with a bad tattoo.Kyle has done just about my whole left arm, and Everytime I came in and saw the drawing, it was better than what I had in my head. Crazy good stuff.Ladies, I also have it on good authority that Kyle does the cutest tigers - getcha one!

I originally had a consult scheduled with the new tattoo artist alex alamos on June 4th. But he told me he might be able to get me in for a consult and the tattoo on the 24th! In short this ended up happening and I had an amazing experience. He was very welcoming and he came up with an absolutely incredible design and Im in love with it, I cant stop staring at it, amazing job alex!

I found out about Anchored Art through a friend who got work done by Jeremy Corns and after I looked up more of the shops work on Instagram I knew I had to go there! All of their artists are incredible and so talented, I wound up getting a sleeve started with Shayne Swenson because something about his work spoke to me as cliche as that sounds. So far I’ve been there twice and have 2 pieces of my sleeve done. The entire process from getting ideas and references, to the great atmosphere in the shop, to the actual tattooing process and result have been absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to get back in!

So many people have said to me- I dont really like tattoos, or Im not really a tattoo person, but I love yours! Anchored Art is the absolute best, and Kyle rocked this one out of the park!!

Her energy immediately put me at ease and it was such a lovely experience. We held small talk and she had such a gentle hand. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was extremely professional while also being real. 10/10.

****Update****After such a great experience with Nate I had to go back and have Peter Koskela work some magic. Such great art coming out of this shop, can’t wait to go back and have more work done!!When people see my beautiful owl tattoo I’m so happy I can say I got it done at anchored. Nate Davenport did an absolute wonderful job, wouldn’t recommend a different shop to do work. Outside the tattoo the shop was very cleanly, friendly staff and easy to work with as far as scheduling and planning the tattoo!

I got my a beautiful piece done on my leg and my sternum. My husband got a cover up and a sweet piece on his arm. Everyone was professional, clean, efficient, SKILLED, and had great vibes. I recommend this shop to all my friends because if you want skilled, professional tattoo artists, this is the place. Any style, there is an artist for you here. My work was done by Chris Freeborg. All the artists profiles are legit though.

I have been working with Kyle Carpino on my sleeve and cannot say enough great things about him and Anchored Art! The shop is clean, welcoming and everyone is fun to be around. Everyone is very friendly and cares deeply about you getting setup with the right artist for the work you want done. They won’t try to take the work just to get the money. They are awesome about working together if it takes more than one of them to get you the best piece possible. I will be getting more tattoos from here!

My sister and I got our first tattoos from Camden. From the moment I scheduled the appt to when I left the process was completely seemless. I was so nervous and everyone made me feel so at ease. Camden made sure it was the right size, shape and area that we wanted. He confirmed with us several times to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. This is an extremely sentimental tattoo and we could not have asked for a better experience.The place is very sanitary and clean. Didnt listen to what I was asking for as a wholeI just wanted an outline, but continued to add shading because itll look good, itll fadeThe shading itself is so dark its blended in with other details and now looks more like a blob.Good tattoo dont get me wrong, but the specifics I asked for were ignored.

I first moved to Spokane in Feb 2020, and i had already pegged Anchored Art as my new shop before i even got here. I have gone to Shawn Wolfe 3 times now since getting here for 3 portraits of my favorite musicians (more on the way) and I am just blown away by his work! The amount of detail he puts into his portraits, theyre truly living art on my skin. Some have even been acknowledged by the musicians themselves!! All of the artists at Anchored Art are truly something special.

Got my first tattoo ever here, Peter did it! I actually never came in to get it touched up, I think it’s that clean! I receive compliments on it daily and have recommended so many people to this shop. They probably do the best work in the state! Constantly winning award year after year! Their price point is a little higher than some other local shops but you’re really paying for top notch quality at this place! 10/10 would recommend, not just one artist but literally any of them in here whether it’s Peter, Jeremy, Shayne, Shawn or anyone else. Best overall group of artists for any shop you’ll find.A couple years later, Jeremy added a piece on the same arm and blended it in with perfection. He actually touched up my first one as well, with no charge or fusses. Everyone here is so chill, kind, and friendly. With their customer care id seriously consider leaving my children here to be watched if they allowed it and accepted my money. If you come in here enough, this shop becomes family. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

The welcoming atmosphere as you walk in is refreshing. My wife has received tattoos here from different artists, so I knew it was a good place to go for my first tattoo. Reggie was great to work with. He made sure I knew what was happening and what to expect. The secondary skin he put on after he finished sure made the healing easy.

Update June 2021: Have now been for 5 different appointments with 3 differents artist, Chris F. (Sonic half Sleeve), Reggie (Opus the Penguin), and Miles (Pearl Jam logo) and have always been impressed with the work and professionalism.My wife and I had our first tattoos done here by Reggie. I mistakenly sent all of our reference pictures to the wrong email, but Reggie was able to still whip together exactly what we wanted in no time. Everyone there was extremely friendly and happy to talk and joke around. You can tell from their processes that they all take extreme pride in what they do and doing it right.Have since returned and have a partial sleeve started. This time I went through Chris Freeborg. Another amazing talented artist.Wouldn’t choose another shop.We will absolutely be returning and referring.

I love this place. The shop itself is clean and really aesthetically pleasing. The artists are not only friendly and funny but ALL of them pride themselves on the quality of their work. 6 weeks, 4 sessions, 9 hours of work, and I have a half sleeve on my upper arm that I have gotten nothing but compliments on. Kyle did a fabulous job and at a shop that boasts a sign that says Cheap work isnt good, and good work isnt cheap, you can tell that that philosophy is their highest priority. I got a shoulder piece with Shayne Swenson and because of his expertise i was able to narrow down what i wanted and absolutely surpassed my expectations. I had a movie and a view and its been my best tattoo experience so far!!I tell anyone i come across looking to get tatted to check out anchored art.3 years after my initial review and I’ve had my sleeve complete for just over a year now. I absolutely love Anchored Art! My tattoo artist, Billyjack, was incredibly professional and nice. I went to him 5 years ago to get a cover up of this horrendous tattoo I had and what I asked for was executed perfectly. After 5 years, I decided that it was time to get it touched up and he really brought my tattoo back to life. I was incredibly happy with the results! It’s worth the money to go somewhere that knows what they’re doing and can give you a result you’re going to love. There’s a reason this place has such great reviews.

Jeremy was absolutely incredible! I traveled from Montana and he came in on his day off to accommodate my travel. I gave him complete creative freedom, all I wanted was a Phoenix. I gave him a photo of something similar, but I wanted it to be unique. He drew the outline in pen, freehand, and then went for it. 6 1/2 and he was wonderful. 10 years later, roughly, and I’m still in love with my piece. He took into consideration the placement, and after 2 children it still looks beautiful. I may have added some tiger stripes to the design, but I’m still just as in love with this tattoo as I was when I first got it. I can’t wait to be able to get on his books again for next few ideas! He’s created a lifelong client.

Happy with the work but really disappointed in the customer service. I was a repeat client to an artist and the last two appointments I had, he was running over an hour behind and I was left to sit and wait. The front counter staff was gracious but the artist didn’t even mention it. Unfortunately my last appointment there he was running so behind that by the time he called me back he was unable to tattoo me because he had plans and needed to leave. He used the hour of time I had to start drawing my tattoo because it also wasn’t ready for me despite me sending in emails and references prior to the appointment.

One of the best shops in town. Front staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and I can’t say enough good things about Kyle. The process was phenomenal.

Anchored Art is the only place I will get my tattoo. Kyle has started my sleeve and has done a fantastic job. All the artists are extremely talented and professional. Can wait to get both my arms completed.

COVER UP STORY:I wanted my dog Shiloh (who passed away) tattooed on my arm. Never ever did I want color, or dogs on my body, but for my Shiloh I did. This was the absolute nightmare I received, and it grieved me so much. I spoke to Nate about it, and he was so kind and honest with me. He said that he could fix it only so much, but it would never be what I originally envisioned. He recommended that I’d cover it up and try again the right way somewhere else. He offered me a few different options too, and I thought about it and decided to go for it. I was really nervous and on my appointment Nate made me feel reassured, he was really kind and walked me through it all. My new cover up tattoo looks freaking gorgeous! I love it! Nate absolutely killed it, and I finally feel proud to wear this on my arm! Also, ALL the staff I talked to were really really positive, enthusiastic, professional and super nice. The vibe was great, right from the get go. The place is really clean and inviting. If I ever get another tattoo, it’ll be here 100%

Billy did a beautiful half sleeve on my right arm! Such a gorgeous piece and it is truly exactly how I wanted it to look. Shop is dope and really nice. After my piece was finished literally every artist came and hyped me up on it including the owner Jeremy.

This tattoo is 7 years old. I still love it. Anchored art is professional, personable and clean. The artists are all fabulous. Jeremy did this cover up on my arm beautifully. Thank you for your excellence.

Nick is a legend and is doing great work. Super friendly front desk people as well, very willing to work with you on scheduling. Their patience knows no bounds. I havent had any work done by the other artists, but I was there for 8 hours and had some stellar conversations with everyone. Very cool people.

Just had a wonderful piece done by Kyle Carpino. It was a very sentimental one for me and I felt the whole team really went the extra mile to make it great (wooden steering wheel with flowers)I also have a piece done by Reggie Armtrout from a couple years back (2016). It’s an illustration of my cat and it’s by far one of my favorites.

This place has a lot of great artist that can do anything your looking for. The waiting list is long and takes months to get in there but its worth it. Ive recommended them to everyone I know. The owner Jeremy is real easy to talk to and super helpful with any questions. Im definitely going back.

I got my very first tattoo here in 2015! Kyle was awesome and did such an amazing job. They do a wonderful job of making you feel right at home and do such incredible work!My second tattoo was a few years ago with Juan (has since moved out of town) and this was also such a great experience!Both my tattoos were exactly how I wanted them and both artists were so chill and easy to work with. I had my first experience at Anchored Art yesterday! The shop was clean, professional, and very welcoming. The gentleman at the front desk is kind, courteous, and excellent at his job. In past experiences, tattoo shops can come off as grungy; but Anchored Art has a high standard that all shops should aspire to follow.I was scheduled with Simon, who certainly did not disappoint. I went to Anchored Art for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was a little nervous at first not knowing what to expect. From the minute walking in the door everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The vibe is very chill and relaxed! I was recommended to Kyle by a few of my family members and he did not disappoint!! He was super friendly from the get go and made me feel comfortable with the entire process. He is an amazing artist and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my new tattoo! I think Anchored Art is the best Tattoo studio in Spokane. It is totally on point with décor , atmosphere and most important the Artists!. The artist that has done my last 3 tattoos has been Chris Winn.One of his specialties is American Traditional and he created 3 very cool American Traditional tattoos for me in my last 3 sessions with him. Along with being a great tattoo artist he is also a great person to have a conversation with while getting my tattoos done. If you want a great American Traditional or any type of tattoo hit Chris up. You wont be disappointed !

I’ve had multiple tattoos done here and it’s always a great experience. Extremely clean and professional shop. The quality of work is amazing. If you want a small or large tattoo, this is the place to go. Every time I’ve gone in I’ve felt comfortable and at ease. They make sure that you sit with the artist that best matches the style that you are wanting. Even if you consult with one artist they might send you to a different one in the shop. I got an eagle from Nate and it was better than I was hoping for. He was fast yet never compromised quality and it healed better than any tattoo I’ve had before.

My mom used to make us watch Wizard of Oz every year around Thanksgiving. After she passed 12 years ago, I knew I wanted to get something that would remind me of her. I had a really cool idea of a wizard of oz sleeve that I wanted done but couldnt find anyone that I felt could tackle it. After doing some hunting around for a realism tattoo artist, I was referred to Jeremy by an artist in Centralia. I scheduled several sessions over the course of a couple months to get started on my sleeve. The shop was very easy to work with and I was able to schedule two sessions back to back so my 5 1/2 hour drive was worth it. Jeremy is amazing at what he does and the long sessions went by really quick. Im in awe of how talented the artists at this location are! Everyone Ive met at the shop is very nice and very caring. They are all supportive of each others work and creative ideas. Everyone who has asked me about my tattoo I have recommended going to see Anchored Art in Spokane. I am looking forward to completing my sleeve and and using them in the future, even if they are on the other side of the state :)

The artists are amazing and their shop is following Covid regulations. Line work was pretty great and the prices were reasonable as well. They were very thorough with their screening paperwork. Everything was clean and timely as well.

Such an awesome tattoo shop. So many passionate artists excited and pumped just to pursue their passion. There doesn’t seem to be a dread to go to work. My artists Camden (who’s an apprentice but an AMAZING artist) took such great care of me, especially for my first tat. He kept a line of communication going before, during, and after the session. Anchored Art is the most streamlined, professional shop Ive had the pleasure of working with. They are communicative and make scheduling easy. I had a amazing experience at anchored art tattoo! Kyle took my idea and ran with it to create a beautiful half sleeve for my mom who only a week after I got my tattoo for her passed away. I still need to finish it but that is planned for the near future. Kyle was very understand to my wants and was very professional. I have been following/stalking anchored art tattoo shop for years. Their portfolios absolutely show the talent that this team has. Very professional and well informed staff definitely help with creating a trustworthy environment. As everyone is aware tattoos are pretty permanent so making sure I choose the right place for my tattoos is so so important…I have called in so many times in order to ask my list of questions and each time I have been treated respectfully and am reassured that this is truly as great of a shop that everyone says it is. I purchased a gift card from Anchored Art Tattoo for my husbands birthday. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional! The shop was clean and welcoming. Due to unforseen conflicts weve had to reschedule the appointment a couple times and the staff has been nothing but awesome in assisting. I feel very fortunate to have had two incredible experiences with two very different artists and styles at Anchored Art. Jeremy Corns provided me with a piece that was exactly what I envisioned representing how I was feeling about the seasons of change in my life. I met with Kyle to discuss a tattoo I wanted. Upon arriving, everyone in the shop was super cool, which created an inviting feel.. Once Kyle and i met, we vibed and had a cool consult. Since my desired tattoo isn’t super big, he was able to accommodate me 3 weeks after the consultation. I would absolutely recommend Anchored Art to anyone looking for a quality piece of art.

I was blessed enough to return to the shop this past year to have more work done. The front desk person was just as fantastic as the tattoo artist. I was lucky enough to head into this shop for my first tattoo by Jeremy Corns. Being nervous for my first one, I was instantly at ease when I saw how clean the shop was and how friendly the staff was as well. Anchored Art not only is full of talented artists that will meet your needs in terms of beautiful tattoos, but it’s full of an amazing group who will treat you like they have known you for years. Since my first tattoo, I’ve had work done by Peter Koskela as well, and I will not go to any other shop moving forward. Both my husband and I have had work done at Anchored Art. Professional, fun and clean environment. My tattoo took about 4 hours and it was dark when I left, the apprentice made sure I got safely to my car. It was the extra mile, not only getting an amazing tattoo that I love but they truly care about their clients.

Anchored Arts is hands down one of the best shops in WA. I’m in the process of doing a sleeve with Chris F. I live on the west side of the state but choose to drive 4 hours just to go to this shop. Chris is a top notch artist and I highly recommend him. Overall the shop is clean, welcoming, and fun. When you’re there you truly have blast talking with different artists and clients. Will not go to another shop again.

Ive had several pieces done by Shayne and Pete and have always been super impressed with their work. Everyone has their own style and absolutely kills it. Looked a long time in California, Minnesota, and finally Washington for a tattoo artist to do a portrait tattoo on my husband in memory of his late uncle and ended up coming across Shayne Swensons portfolio, contacted the shop about booking the appointment and paying the deposit as a Christmas Gift and they went above and beyond to get it scheduled and even a gift certificate saying the deposit had been paid. Answered our questions before the appointment, and overall a great experience. They have varying artists that are very talented and we will be back for future work. Well worth the price of the tattoo. Shop is nice and clean, although it was winter and the draft of people going in and out chilled my husband a bit during his session, thank you Anchored Art for helping my husband express his love for his uncle through your art.

My husband and I have been tattooed at Anchored Art 3 times now and its the only shop I choose to go to anymore. We travel from Moses Lake specifically for this shop! The quality of artwork from the artists is unbelievable and the shop is extremely clean and hygienic. Were usually able to get appointments in a reasonable amount of time and the pricing is extremely fair. Definitely the best shop weve ever been to!3 years later and theyre still the best!

Anchored Art tattoo is one of the best shops in the PNW. Only place I go to get tattooed and always worked with Nate. He is great at what he does and can bring everything I think of to life. Just recently started working with Chris Winn, who is amazing. His work is great and everything i ask for is 10x better then i thought when it was in my head. Even if I’m not working with the other artist I can always chat it up with them while getting my tattoos done. Everyone is great all across the board. Wouldn’t want to spend my money at any other place. Love it there and will continue to get work done there until forever.Year later all this is true and always gets better! I’m now at 9 tattoos and 12 sessions with Anchored Art and they are top tier. Excited to finish everything up and keep working with them.

I appreciated Kyles time and attention to planning the tattoo and making sure the proportions looked great before starting. His work was excellent and he gave clear instructions for aftercare. I had Nate Davenport as my artist for my space sleeve tattoo on my arm that also was a small coverup and Nate and Anchored Art Tattoo were awesome to work with. I went in only having a general theme and a few pictures of what I wanted and gave Nate artistic freedom and he was awesome to work with and did an amazing job. The other artists I met there while getting worked on were awesome, and every artist would see what everyone else was working on, excited to see each other’s work. Anchored Art is the shop to go to in Spokane. They are clean, professional, and have awesome artists.

Of all my tattoo experiences, Anchored Art has been the one to beat. Juan (though he has moved on) completed the first memorial tattoo for my dad and was phenomenal, then Shawn completed my second piece and exceeded expectations. My third piece is scheduled with Shawn again in a couple of months to round it out and almost have a full sleeve. During my time being tattooed I also had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy. They are all so down to earth and out of this world artists. I get stopped all the time from strangers complimenting the art on my arm. They are worth the wait and every penny youll spend, theyll continue to receive our business as well as word of mouth referrals.

Shawn Wolfe did my first tattoo to start my sleeve and it could not have been a better experience. He sat with me and really made sure everything I’ve been imagining is coming to life! I have had 3 sessions with Reggie Armtrout! He is amazing!!! I have nothing but great things to say about the shop and ever. And he was so comforting and patient! He drew up a design in minutes then redrew until it was perfect! I came with a list of things I wanted the tattoo to symbolize (yep I’m that annoying girl) and a general concept and he created magic!!My second session was an expansion on my first tattoo and afterwards I didn’t love it as much as I wanted to so we made another appointment. I don’t know how he did it but he made it perfect!! Just what I wanted! He never made me feel bad for not liking it or anything. It perfectly symbolizes my family with the nature I love! Would go back to this shop 100 times over!Add some photos of my original and final piece fresh and healed!

Got my first professional tattoo done with Miles in October of 2021, for my birthday. Is a great person and more than willing to work patiently with me. When any possible concerns popped up, we took a small break to recoup then continued. Overall a great experience and hope to get more tattoos there in the future.

Currently having Shawn Wolfe work on a full sleeve on my right arm. His work is incredible and the shop is always well taken care of. Jeremy, the owner, and the rest of the staff Ive met have all been super professional and easy to get along with. One thing I didnt consider before starting my sleeve by an awesome artist, is now theres almost a 50/50 chance I get stopped by random people while out running errands, complimenting my tattoo and asking where I had it done. My experience has made me try to send as many people towards Anchored Art as I can. I live 4+ hours away from Spokane, and still will happily continue to utilize them as my main shop from here on out. Not a negative word can be said. Thanks again, and cant wait until next time!!

Great place awesome people! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have gotten two tattoos here Chris Winn has been my artist and he dose an amazing job!!!! Hes super nice and friendly and his work is so good!! In April he did this beautiful rose with my kids names and today he did a partial cover up of a tattoo I had on my arm from bulletproof because the guy at bulletproof messed up and didnt give me what I wanted but Chris was able to turn it into a beautiful piece he fixed it. All the artists at anchor art are so good and professional I should have came here from the start dont ever go to bulletproof or any other shop go to anchor art! I am very happy with how my tattoos turned out thank you so much Chris!! ❤

I had the opportunity to get tattooed by Nate Davenport and not only is he an excellent artist but he was friendly and professional. He listened to what it was I wanted while also providing his professional opinion. I get so many compliments on the quality of my tattoo and I love to say who and where I got it.Anchored Art tattoo continues to be one of my favorite tattoo shops in town. My tattoo sessions landed right in the middle of the first lockdown and I was very impressed by the way Anchored Art handled everything. From being communicative about rescheduling appointments and then the (even more) cleanliness once reopening. I can’t imagine all of the reshuffling of appointments and stress behind having to go through that as a business but from the customer side of things they handled it with ease and grace.I look forward to returning and getting more work done at Anchored Art!

I have never once been disappointed at Anchored Art. I have been tattooed by Reggie, Billy and Jeremy and my husband has been tattooed by Reggie and Nate. The amount of people that stop us daily is insane- we both receive so many compliments on our work. I will never understand why so many people ask to touch my tattoo- maybe because my floral by Jeremy looks so real that it could be an orchid. Maybe the colors in my phoenix are so far beyond so many tattoos out there that it’s hard to believe it’s real. Whatever the case, their work is stunning. I 100% recommend every time I’m asked “where did you get your work done?”

Also all of my children have received 1 or more tattoos from this establishment. They are all very friendly and over the years have become like friends. I put booked an appointment with Jeremy about a year and a half before I was able to get my tattoo. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a crazy amount of time to get a good quality piece done. I was not disappointed in the slightest. The work Jeremy did is absolutely beautiful. I’ve had other tattoos done that the line work seems to blow out after a year but not this piece! It still looks just as beautiful as the day I got it and I’m thinking about adding more to it.Everyone at the shop is incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed. During my multiple sessions there I had conversations with not only Jeremy, but other artists that were in the chair next to him. All the conversations were like those I’d have with old friends.The shop itself is set downtown and has a classy yet gothic feel to it. Walking in, it almost feels like an art gallery with is beautiful decor. The shop is incredibly clean which will ease anyone’s anxiety about getting a tattoo there.Overall, I recommend Anchored Art over anywhere else I’ve ever been tattooed. Ive had 2 of my tattoos done by 2 different artists. One by Shayne and one by Billy. My first tattoo I was so nervous but Billy made it easy and a great experience. Both my artists made me feel at ease and listened to my ideas and really made beautiful work. I have had two wonderful experiences at Anchored Art. Peter Koskela was my artist for both tattoos Ive gotten done there. Of course his work absolute beautiful but, also, he is such a likeable guy that can hold a great conversation.Not only that, the vibe in the shop is comfortable. Ive been to a lot of shops and for the most part, theyve all been pretty uncomfortable to sit in. But all the guys here have such personalities that all play well with each other. The quality of talent that Jeremy like in his shop is top choice. I will continue to go here and suggest this place to everyone.

I found an artist on Instagram and told myself he was going to tattoo me no matter what. Turns out he worked at a shop in the same state as me. After months of waiting (see his work and you’ll see why he’s booked out so long) I finally made the 5 hour drive to the shop. I spent the first part of the morning designing my tattoo with Shawn and hearing his thoughts and opinions on it. His professionalism was stellar. While getting tattooed the owner (Jeremy) joined us and sat around talking for the better half of two hours. We shared many stories and laughs. Jeremy has a deep desired love for tattooing, it pours out of him. After I left the shop and the weeks to come I started talking more with the artist who did my tattoo. We have since become pretty good friends along with other artist at the shop. After knowing these guys for a while now I can honestly say there isn’t a better shop out there. Not only in Washington st, but in the entire world. These guys are extremely down to earth, love what they do, and thoroughly enjoy their clients. They all share a brotherhood that is unmatched. I look forward to making the 5 hour drive over there for many more sessions.

By far the best tattoo shop I’ve ever gone to! I had a bad experience with a consultation I had scheduled at a different shop, came here half an hour later and my whole day turned around! They immediately were so much friendlier and willing to work with my brother and I on the sibling tattoos we wanted to get. Everything fell into place as soon as we walked in the door, I feel like it was meant to be. The shop is clean, and the work they do is amazing. So happy with how my tattoo turned out! I’ve been tattooed at 4 different places, including in another country and Anchored Art is hands down my favorite place. They are so careful to make sure I feel safe and respected as a woman when I’m there. They also work extremely hard and long hours to make their clients happy. Not only is their shop awesome, the quality of my tattoo is amazing. It’s been 3 years, is a coverup of another black tattoo, and people think I just got it within the last few weeks. Went in for my first tattoo, Reggie made me feel extremely comfortable. When I needed to take a break, I never felt rushed to get back in the chair. They offered cold water and hard candy when my blood sugar got too low. Would 100% recommend and come back for my next one. Everyone there that I talked to was extremely knowledgeable about the process. Defiantly deserve more then 5 stars. The only con was theyre booked out, due to their amazing talents.Just went in for a second tattoo with Miles. Will never go anywhere else.

I had a shoulder piece done by Kyle Carpino a while back and I couldnt be happier with his work! Incredible art, professional and enjoyable setting, extremely clean, and the result is more than worth the cost. Every last artist at Anchored Art is incredible at their work and a blast to spend time with. Im planning on having all my future tattoos here, because I dont think anywhere else in the area can match their quality and atmosphere!Updating this to say that Im in the process of extending that shoulder piece into a sleeve, and Im still unbelievably impressed with Kyle and the shop as a whole! Ive gotten two tattoos with Simon Gentry so far and on both occasions I had an incredible experience from start to finish. I walked in off the street initially, which always feels a bit overwhelming but was immediately put at ease. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and professional. I was able to meet with a couple of artists to talk about what I was looking for and find a good fit. Simon has been lovely to work with and is a very talented artist who I fully trust. I enjoy watching him work and always feel at ease with the process. You cant go wrong with Anchored Art, they will help you find the right artist for you and you can count on quality work.

Anchored Art is where I had my first tattoo done. I was so nervous and knew nothing about the process. I called on more than one occasion just to ask questions first and they were SO kind helpful and patient with me. I went in for a consultation and my artist Juan (lives in a different city now) was just awesome. Listened to every detail and genuinely spent time with me without rushing me. When I went in for my appointment I was so impressed with the atmosphere. Super clean, welcoming and honestly just comfortable. My artist walked me through the process and made sure to answer all my questions. Educated me on aftercare. And took more than one phone call once my tattoo was complete when I had questions about the healing process. I honestly cant say enough about this shop. I recommend them to everyone.

After looking for at least 10 years and talking to dozens of different artists across the Pacific northwest I ran into anchored art. I had two consultation with two different artists and after leaving the building I knew that I was in the right place and was excited to start working on my cover-up and sleeve. I am about one session away from completing my sleeve and I am so happy that I chose anchord art tattoo. I constantly get compliments about the work they have done all the time. I let them know anchored art is the only place I would get work done. All of the artists are friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere and the cleanliness of the shop is top notch. I had an awesome experience with Peter K. at Anchored Art. He really took my design ideas to heart and created something absolutely gorgeous that is meaningful to me for many reasons. Peter was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made my overall experience very pleasant.The rest of the Anchored Art staff was equally pleasant, many stopping by to say hello and to comment on Peter’s work. I’ve purchased gift cards from the front desk and interacted with employees on the phone as well. All of the Anchored Art staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.They take all necessary covid precautions and I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my entire experience. I can’t wait to go back for another piece. My husband is looking forward to using his gift certificate for a new tattoo of his own too!

Such an awesome experience from start to finish. The facility (even during their temporary 4th floor digs) are clean, comfortable and inviting. The guys up front are enthusiastic, helpful and extremely knowledgeable at artist/client pairings. The other great thing about this shop is the creative environment all the artists foster. Over 36 hours of being there nearly every artist in the shop came up to check out Simons work and always had words of encouragement or praise. That sort of genuine care for one another created such a relaxing time. There is an artist at this shop for every style or design. I couldnt imagine ever needing to go anywhere else. I couldnt possibly recommend this shop more highly.

Jeremy did a memorial piece for me shortly after my dad passed. Not only did Jeremy capture the importance of the different pieces of inspiration he incorporated, he helped me during my grieving process by perfectly designing and helping me display a tattoo that has incredible meaning and sentiment. I have had three tattoos so far from two of the artists at Anchored Art Tattoo. I could not be happier with the work! A tattoo done at this shop is a piece of art. Clean lines and incredible detail.An artist will work with you to make sure that you get the tattoo that you want, even if that means referring you to another artist. Juan did my first tattoo, which I love! When I came back to have two older tattoos (not done at this shop) covered, Juan recommended Kyle as he would be a better match for the type of work that I wanted done at that point. The artists are professional and friendly and willing to answer questions both before and after your session. I have been getting tattooed by Jeremy for several years now, and also have some work done by Shawn, and I have nothing but the highest praise for them, and the entire shop. The studio is always clean, and the artists are professional, while still maintaining a laid-back, friendly, open and inviting atmosphere. If you’re going to be willfully enduring some level of pain for several hours, they provide the perfect atmosphere to do it in! And the level of talent here is off the charts! Spokane is a relatively small market, and to find so many artists at the top of their game in one place is amazing! When I was in job limbo I swung by Anchored Art and was immediately greeted by Jeremy. He was in the middle of a tattoo but at a glance I could see how strong his safety controls were and how classy of a feel the shop had. He didnt have room but he wasnt condisending about my greenness at the time and I left even more confident knowing that there are tattooers out there that give a stuff about the tattoo and Spokane community. After researching his work I was blown away by the quality. Its cool to see there success from afar.

They were amazing! I was getting my first tattoo and have been working on my needle phobia for a while. My original apprentice ended up leaving due to not feeling well. But they were amazing and got me squared away to get my tattoo still that day. The artist I ended up getting was amazing in every way. I am already planning my next trip back.

Anchored Art Tattoo did my first professional tattoo, my artist was Ole, and I will NEVER go to a different shop. I’ve been following this tattoo shop for years! I have never been disappointed with any of their work, and many of my friends recommend this as their go to tattoo shop in Washington. The piece I had done was an anchor, and what better a place to do it than Anchored Art Tattoo. It was made up of super detailed roses, and a rope wrapping around my wrist. I was utterly and completely impressed with their service. Ole was able to incorporate multiple meanings into my tattoo, and made it completely one of a kind. It was like mind reading, there is absolutely nothing I would change about this tattoo, and I can’t wait to visit the shop again. Funniest part about my tattoo was that everyone in the shop was trying to decide what was the best tacos during my session, I left and got tacos. 🌮🌮

Ive been in twice now to see Reggie, once with my daughter to get matching tattoos, and once to get another tattoo on my own. Being my first tattoo, I was nervous, but the atmosphere of the shop and the friendliness of everyone there put me at ease and I was really happy with the experience (hence my return for another tattoo). I had my first and only tattoo done at Anchored Art and there is absolutely no way I will ever go anywhere else. My brother and I were in a little over a year ago to get matching bear tattoos and the outcome of them was way better than I could have ever imagined. Not only were these important to us as we were getting them together, but they also included the scene from our grandmas house who passed away. I would love to recognize who actually tattooed us, but my brother handled the booking and I don’t remember his name. The shop staff was amazing the whole time, always so kind and they went out of their way to make sure every client, not only their own, was comfortable and being taken care of. I went first and when he was preparing to do my brothers, we watched him get all new supplies out of sealed sanitary bags. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Anchored Art is hands down the best shop in the northwest, maybe even this side of the country.

I’ve gotten 6 tattoos from this shop and love every one of them. All their artists are simply amazing! The shop is definitely high quality, professional and has safely and longevity in mind with each piece. I will definitely be scheduling something once they are allowed to open.update- still a 5 star shop. I got the opportunity again this past January. Reggi did amazing, make sure the images i wanted spliced together matched up will and the result is perfect. I get so many complements basically all the pieces ive had done at this shop. The shop has an awesome and friendly vibe, is super clean, and is just a comfortable place to get work done. My experience with Anchored Art Tattoo was AMAZING. I needed varicose vein coverup on the side of my calf. My artist not only created the design, he did a beautiful job with the coverup! The lilies he chose have the most brilliant colors and they’re precisely done for hiding the veins. I’ll definitely be going back for more.

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing Jeremy Corns when he was in CA providing me with an amazing tattoo. He took my ideas and design and made it my own. I had my kids names and my favorite the butterfly 🦋 tattoo on my shoulder. I get nothing but compliments on it even though it’s about 10+ years old. If I was able to fly up to Spokane and get another tattoo from Jeremy I would in a heartbeat.

Ive seen Kyle at Anchored Art twice now and each time has been exceptional. I don’t live in Spokane so I came up to visit family and we scheduled a consult/tat session ahead of time because of this. Kyle does amazing work and I couldn’t be happier with my shoulder piece he did. He was more than patient and has such creative ideas as far as putting my personal touches together and making it fit in with what I already had. We vibed the whole time and even though I was there for hours it seemed to fly by. I 10/10 recommend him to anyone and I will definitely be coming back to him for my future tattoos. One of the best shops I have been to here in Spokane! I am currently working on a full arm sleeve that includes a half sleeve cover up with Kyle and I cannot express enough how much I am already in love with this tattoo and we are not even close to being done! Every artist at this shop is great! The owner, Jeremy, is not only a fantastic artist but a genuinely great guy. While getting tattooed the front desk person may come and go and other artists may ask for advice or just show off their work and he always makes time for everyone. The way he speaks to people is incredible, he isnt a know-it-all or pretentious type of artist that I have dealt with in the past (at other shops) and his kindness is only shown up by his incredible tattooing skills. He has an eye for placement and the color theory knowledge he has is truly top notch! So thankful to have found this shop and cant wait to continue working with them!

I had such a good experience here. I actually received my first tattoo here by Ole. I continued to come back for more sessions from Ole working on a sleeve, but unfortunately due to him being sick we were unable to finish. But I will definitely be back again for more work! Anchored Art prides itself on quality work and customer satisfaction. I had gotten a tattoo here about a year ago and wasnt happy with the results. The owner, Jeremy, contacted me immediately after a not so stellar Google review and offered to take a look and see what he could do. We sat and discussed the design longer than I ever had at a tattoo shop, and Jeremy made sure I was comfortable and happy with the new design. I spent years searching out the perfect artist to do a memorial tat for my dad who passed away in 2014 at the young age of 59 from Alzheimer’s. I came across Anchored Art and decided Shawn Wolfe had the style of art I was going for. He put in a full 12 hour day with me, designing and tatting my sleeve and it turned out amazing!! This will be the only shop I will let tat me. All the artists there are fantastic but for black & white realism, Shawn Wolfe is amazing! Each artist specializes in different types of art so great variety of highly talented individuals!

These guys are great. I go in every couple of months asking about tattoos and they dont mind. They work with you. Very clean and friendly. Theyve done both of my tattoos. I have to get my latest one retouched because my skin didnt take the ink in consistently and they are doing it for free. They have great tattoo artists and fine art artists. Its bright and welcoming. Love it here!!

Nate did a beautiful line and dot botanical quarter sleeve for me. Attention to detail is critical for me and Nate’s piece far exceed expectation to the point that botanist colleagues are impressed. Be aware that you’ll likely need to wait a bit to get in to see one of the Anchored Art artists but if you want a thoughtful and artful piece that you are proud to show off then this will not be a deterant but merely proof of the quality.The shop is friendly as are the artists. I went into the shop solo, and on occasion during my sittings was the only female there and felt plenty comfortable—which isn’t the case at every tattoo shop I’ve been too.I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. All the artists have great portfolios and there is a diverse range of styles housed in the shop. Nate does beautiful work and I’m looking forward to being a continuing patron of him and the shop.

I cant say enough about this shop! All the artists are terrific! Staff are helpful and sweet. I felt so comfortable and relaxed there. My tattoo came out amazing and I really enjoyed the experience. I cant wait to go back!

I have had tattoos done by both Reggie and Billy Jack and both are fantastic artists. Most recently Billy Jack helped me with a cover up. I came to him with a vague idea and he turned it into something much better than I could ever have imagined. He communicated clearly with me throughout the process and really put a lot of work into the design and it shows. I am beyond happy with the final outcome. The shop is clean, everyone is very personable and professional and I would recommend them without hesitation. I can’t wait to go back!

I had some incredible work done by Ole Madrigales a few years ago. He is just an all around great human being and a fantastic artist. I also had some very clean line work done by Kyle Carpino, who is just as exceptional. Everyone at the shop clearly loves what they do, and all the artists there are phenomenal. I cant wait to get my next tattoos done here.

I visited with Shawn Wolfe for a half sleeve appointment. He was amazing! Made me feel super comfortable, laid back, professional, clean, and attentive. He spent as much as we needed drawing it up and letting me bounce my vision off of him and with ease came up with the perfect reality of my idea. Played great music and checked in on me and how I was doing being under the needle on and off all day. He is truly talented and a pleasure to work with.The rest of the encounters were friendly and easy with the office staff and even visits from the other artists. I found it awesome that they all are excited to show each other what their working on and such diversity in everyones styles. I fully recommend this shop!

I’d been dreaming of a floral sleeve of my children’s birth flowers FOR YEARS. When I walked by Anchored Art and saw Jeremy Corns’ signature roses I knew I’d found my artist...but I had no way of knowing that as a 50-year-old mom with only one other tiny tattoo, this shop and EVERY SINGLE ARTIST here would be so genuinely welcoming, friendly, caring and fun, or that this process would be such a blast! The incredible people aside, this shop is immaculately clean, light, and beautifully decorated. After 5 or 6 sessions, my tattoo is even more beautiful than I imagined it would be and I look forward to seeing these new friends of mine as Jeremy finishes this gorgeous piece. Whatever art style you’re looking for, there’s an artist for you at Anchored Art and I promise you’ll NEVER regret spending time or money here!

I started working with Jeremy a few years ago working on a sleeve and honestly it was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Still get so many compliments on my tattoo and everyone wants to know who did it. He and his staff check all the boxes. I always recommend them and tell anyone looking for a new artist to go to Anchored art first.

I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Peter. He created the most beautiful design that would flow and compliment my body perfectly. It was better than what I thought I even wanted. I had zero discomfort being tattooed in a delicate area as Peter was nothing short of professional and respectful. The entire staff have been great to work with and the shop atmosphere is chill and fun. I would highly recommend any of the artists in this shop and can attest that it is worth the wait.

My tattoo artist was Chris Freeborg. Scheduled with him and he rescheduled with me 2 times. Both times rescheduled last minute. Finally got in to get my tattoo done and he is missing line work on my tattoo, so now when Im embarrassed to show people because someone of my blueberries are missing their vines. I have a 150$ credit just sitting there and want to finish my tattoo but told them I wanted a different artist since he was unprofessional and did a bad job on my tattoo, but they said I had to stick with him): But on the other hand other than that everyone there is super nice and welcoming and the shop is super clean. Some or the artists there are amazing. My mom sees them and all her experiences have been positive. Hopefully my luck will turn around soon!!!

I got my first tattoo with Billy Jack in 2018 in my right forearm, the whole process was very smooth and you guys had great customer service. I also was able to set up an appointment with Nate while currently deployed overseas, thanks to the staff for being flexible and extremely helpful with communication, since it is currently difficult over here. So far I have had great service and I am looking forward to getting more ink from them!!

I got my first ever tattoo here to cover up some scarring shortly after I turned 18. The staff was super friendly and respectful, especially regarding the background of my scarring. When I initially called, they made sure to ask what I was looking for and to get me in with an artist that had worked with scarring and cover ups before (Billy Jack Armtrout🙌🏻🙌🏻). They made sure I knew that depending on the amount of scarring, tattooing the area might be difficult (luckily, it wasn’t but it was nice to be prepared). Despite having to work around some renovation at the time, the shop was still super clean and professional looking. I’ve have my tattoo for over a year and I still love it just as much as the day I got it.
