This week me and my friend group have been getting tattooed by august! They do absolutely amazing and we are all super happy with our tattoos. That and they are super enjoyable to be around, even had my mom in there laughing. We will definitely be returning customers❤️

Not only is John, the owner of Platinum Rose Tattoo a phenomenal tattoo artist, he is a wonderfully likeable guy. He made my girlfriend and I extremely comfortable while he did my tattoo. His sense of humor put us at ease and the conversation was engaging. He was willing to do my tattoo in one sitting, a total of about 9 hours! He stayed late on a Saturday night to complete it. Offered refreshments and even allowed us to join him and his family for pizza! We were starving after being there for so long so this was very kind of him and his wife. I am VERY satisfied with my tattoo, he did a superb job on it I couldnt be happier. My girlfriend will be getting some ink done very soon and says she has decided she wont go anywhere else but Platinum Rose. I did some shopping for the best deal I could find and hands down Platinum Rose was the most reasonable. I cant thank him enough for the beautiful tribal he designed for me. Im honored to wear his work. Hes worth every penny.

Can not recommend this place, they overcharged us by 90 dollars and when I confronted the owner screamed at me for being entitled and kicked me out of his store. Get working customer service is difficult and did my best to remain as appropriate the entire time as possible because the artist did do a phenomenal job with the tattoo. Unfortunately, the issue that I had here was the character and morals of the company as they do not seem to care about the doing the right thing. I have proof of how much that they charged and how much we paid but since everything is done in cash, we are unable to really do anything about this situation. Again, they did a great job with the tattoo. They just stole our money and got violent when I asked for an explanation about the shortage in cashback.

John was friendly and genuine, honest about my ideas, he shared his thoughts and concerns which is a must for me I need to knownother peoples opinions of tattoo ideas, his performance was extremely perfect and thoughtful. No judgment or complaints just pure 100% satisfaction will be going back next week for more Im so excited will post the pics soon of his work. What a artist!

John and Sadie are both amazing artists. I get so many compliments on my tattoos they did for me. Wouldnt want to go anywhere else for a tattoo.

I went to Jon at Platinum Rose and he was great. He worked with my easy bruising and Tapout. He worked with my schedule to come back. He helped create the design I wanted and even added the little details I was looking for. For my visit back, because of my bruising, I used the numbing cream. It worked marvelously. I have never had a pain free tattoo, and I would suggest any day.

I went here last minute to get a matching clover tattoo in honor of my daughter with my mom. I’m not covered in tattoos (yet), I have 7 and hands down this is the best, most friendliest, chillest environment. You can just sit there and breathe instead of feeling awkward. My previous tattoo was 500 dollars and I sat in that chair for 4 hours and not a single word was spoken to me and I hate the tattoo to top it all off. Genuinely love this place. I’ll be back!

Topher at Platinum Rose Tattoo has gone above and beyond to right his wrong during this first appointment. During the second appointment there was a small miscommunication, and during the third appointment he was very patient and willing to make sure my daughter and I came out satisfied with her piercings.

Im always satisfied. Funny story the first time I walked in I planned to just talk about the witch I wanted to get. Things changed and Dustin was rad enough to show me his work and get me in the next day. Wasnt even planning on getting the tattoo yet and I couldnt be happier.(its for sure Pinterest material) Since then Ive got 2 more pieces weeks apart and one amazing piece from Denessa coming soon. I recommended this shop for reasons.1. Always clean2. The artist are great and their artwork speaks for itself3. If you dont know what you want, look at their wall of ideas. They have some amazing sketches theyre dying to tattoo.4. Its never a dull moment their. The conversations will make up for the pain on your body.5. The prices are reasonable for the quality youre recieving.Dont be ashamed to get ink by an apprentice. Theyre just as good and learning to be better. By far my favorite tattoo shop. Just walk in!

Detri did mine and my best friends piercings tonight. I was extremely happy with mine. It was my first cartilage experience and Im thankful it went well. Well be returning for some other piercings and tattoos in the near future for sure! Another good thing about this place is the hours and prices.

Wayne is the man! My experience was off the charts as far as service goes. Wayne did an excellent job giving me exactly what I needed because I came in with a rough idea and he turned it into something phenomenal, I will go back to Wayne for each piece I decide to get and I see a tap out or seven in my future. Great place to walk in for a chill vibe and great conversation, also very tolerant if you have kiddos.

They are so amazing. I came in for my first tattoo and they kept my mind busy by talking to me the whole time. It was a lot less painful than I had thought. I love the outcome. Will definitely come back!

Came here today for my first Tattoo! Studio was clean and my artist was very friendly! My tattoo was a walk in and I love how it turned out. The artist was very comforting to someone who has a needle phobia. Highly recommend :)

I got quite a few tattoos done in a couple of months with John. I had made an appointment elsewhere initially and even paid a deposit booked my appointment online and there was no one there. They never gave me a refund and I was so upset so I walked into the platinum rose shop and immediately knew this was the place for me. He took me as a walk-in and gave me the tattoo I wanted for a great price so I booked another session that was a tapout session. He was super fast and I have to say an awesome dude. I made more appointments to get another round of tattoos done and I cant wait to go back. On one of my tattoos he camouflaged the name of my now husband. These tattoos have changed my life for the better and I cant express enough what an awesome guy John is and how grateful I am. He gave me lucky ink and it changed my life.

I absolutely love this shop John the owner was so dope he makes you feel like family, no awkward vibes at all! I felt like I’ve known this guy forever, the shop is clean and sterile and is work is amazing! The best tattoo I have on my body thus far, I even brought my son with me the 2nd and 3rd session and he was so nice to him even bought him lunch twice, Very friendly and dedicated to giving you the best work, listens to criticism and how you want your piece to look. Already been recommending him to friends, definitely a lifer here! Great work!

We watched the person behind the counter buy drugs out the front door. Not very discreetly either. Super sketchy place. Smells weird. My friends tattoo looks sooo bad, along with mine. Im sad to say I didnt check reviews before we chose this place.

This place is trash. The owner did finger tats on both me and my girl and neither took. We went back for the touch up and he refused to fix his work without being paid. Then tried to follow me out to the car like he wanted to fight when we left. Run far and fast from this place!

Would rate zero stars if I could. Nasty personalities, rude comments being made and making fun of another artist in town for getting cancer and calling it karma. The tattoos that come out of this shop look like they were done by someone whos been tattooing for 2 months. Unclean shop and unclean behavior. Also saw another review where an artist in the shop is known to make comments on womens bodies. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

My artist was Joey Benson! He is an apprentice and he was super friendly, funny and did an amazing job! I cant wait to come back for another one!

I got my belly button done by topher, a little sarcastic but over all very professional, funny, and friendly. he explained step by step what he was going to do and was very gentle. great customer service.

I got my PA piercing done by Topher 11/26/23 he did an amazing walked me through everything told exactly what to expect was professional he did everything he could to make it as comfortable and painless as possible.

Ive been here twice, once for a tattoo and once for a piercing, and both times I was treated by super friendly staff. Amazing quality, and will be returning.

This was my first professional tattoo and the experience was amazing! I was a walk-in and my artist was Elijah. He was super accommodating and helpful. He let me know right off the bat that he was an apprentice at the shop, but he helped me, listened to what I wanted tattooed and helped me to get a beautiful piece of art. I’m hella happy with the final result and would definitely recommend hitting them up

Great shop with honest artists. We worked with Shelby tonight and she was great! Very friendly with a steady hand. She is very calming. I walked in with a vision of what I wanted and was so appreciative of John being honest about how my piece would look where I wanted it. We changed it up and I could not be happier. Definitely will be returning!

You guys!!!! This shop is the absolute best! My sister and I went in and John was our artist. His line work is SUPER clean, he’s very professional but also GREAT company! Just did their Friday 13th flash event, my first one since moving back from overseas. The staff were super helpful with any questions or concerns. First time here, was nervous but super happy I went with friends and got some tattoos from them!

Want to talk about customer service and amazing artwork....then this is your place. John was my artist and made it the best tattoo experience I could of asked for. Making sure I liked his drawing and agreed to all the details. which were unbelievable. Made sure I knew I could take breaks if needed and was so easy and soft on the needle. I was worried about how much pain there would be but even in the sensitive spots he made it easy. Plus they play great music to make it better to enjoy. John was Very social and personal and made it feel like one of your own friends was giving you the tattoo. Im just beyond happy with how good the tattoo came out and how well he treated me so thank you John and platinum rose !!!

I personally havent gone to platinum rose due to lack of funds, but i have gone in with multiple people to get tattooed there, there customers service is ALWAYS great,they do ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WORK, my friend got a pretty detailed tattoo done (a dragon) by one of the artist there and it had to of been the best tattoo i had ever seen. Have been wanting to go so bad but just havent had to money too, but hopefully one day ill beable yo get a piece done by one of them.

Wayne and John run a great shop. I did an 8 hour tap out session and Wayne is a phenomenal artist, he worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the design, placement and the completed work. I cant wait to give back and finish the piece. Prices are reasonable and the work is quality over quantity as it should be. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for some new art

Came in for Friday the 13th Tattoos with my mo. It was quick and easy. The ladies were amazing! Not to mention the amazing tattoo selection that had available to pick from. Definitely recommend giving them a shot!

Went in there with three people while my friend got a tattoo. The guy kept being rude and telling her to hurry up and that “we all got tits”. She said the numbing cream didn’t numb her at all, he kept complaining about an old worker who “talked shit” about him. He charged at least 150 an hour and a tip. Too expensive and overall rude customer service.

These guys are hella tight . Straight legit line work, stellar color shading and highlights and their artistic ability is straight up on point. I recommend their tap out deal . Ask them about it Jon Brisbee owner artist tattooist , willow and check out his number one safer over at the valley location . She apprentices under Jon and is amazing with black tattoos and straight line work. Thank you guys for being the best ever ! I found my life tatooist family, any one working for this company is top shelf I swear it .

I have been going to this shop for quite awhile and ALWAYS have amazing work. Yesterday I went in wanting a pretty personal tattoo. I have many self harm scars and I didn’t want to look at them anymore. Wayne was so amazing and so understanding. I was expecting a simple small tattoo to cover it and he went above and beyond and gave me something beautiful to look at when I look down at my arm. Definitely a emotional visit and I was amazed by the kindness and understanding of everyone there as well as the beautiful and meaningful tattoo. Thank you guys so much it means more to me then you will ever know!

Went to this shop because it is a walk in and is open late. Granted I did not know specifically what I wanted. So he sat me down and showed me some stuff on Google. All was good. I picked out what I liked. Then when it came down to it he told me the price and it was 1000 bucks for two tap outs. Okay. Well I wasnt willing to spend that. So I cut back on the tattoo because I planned on adding more in the future like we discussed and he turned around and kicked me out for not knowing what I want. Shouldnt accept walk in customers if you dont have the patience to work with them huh? And also. Just because your whites stay white and your lines are clean. Your work wasnt that good, so I guess I should really be thanking you for kicking me out. Peace out

Came in for a random tattoo with my daughter. They had Friday the 13th specials so we thought we would check it out. I got an awesome Mr. YUK inspired tattoo. Definitely would recommend!

I love this shop! I came in to get my piercing done and set up a consultation for my tattoo. The owner was very nice and helped me get my ideas from pen to paper. Then, when I changed my mind he called to ask me what I wanted it to be changed to. My piercing was done really quick and he was super kind through the whole thing. Then, when I went home my piercing got snagged on something and bent straight. I came back into the shop and he cleaned up my nose and put in a new piercing to help me out. It was quick, easy, and painless. I’m so excited for my tattoo session with them. 10 out of 10 this will be my go to shop from now on. Beyond clean and incredibly professional and friendly.

There is kids running around the place, they dont check ID, time means nothing to them and they will keep pushing you off and try to reschedule you months later. Plus they try to make you pay first so that they can take your money. I would stay away from this excuse of a parlor. This places gives tattoo artists a bad name. Would give 0 stars if I could. SMH. Ive been to good parlors. This isnt one.

Elijah put down some nice ink. Straight lines solid, healing great. I want some more art from Elijah. My wife got ink from detri. Wow! an amazing price of art. Bold yet soft, super saturated. Excellent color pallet. Line work was top notch. I would recommend either of these 2 artists. My wife and I will be back.

A BIG THANK YOU AND SHOUT PUT TO JOHN! My tattoo was a cover up and he ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT! I came in with a few ideas and he transformed it into exactly the piece I was picturing in my head! More then IMPRESSED by not only his work but he is a genuine and solid dude! It was well worth the price and the time I spent. I’ll definitely be back ASAP! Got my chest plate started and John kept it real with me as far as time went. I got a great deal and half of my chest done. Hands down the best, most detailed tattoo I have. Plus John and his guys were great conversation and liked to crack jokes. Definitely going back after the holidays to finish my chest and do more. Pretty sure I found a home base to finish the rest of my ink!!!

Walked in on my birthday after being disappointed my salon appointment was canceled on me, but now Im kinda glad it was! the people here are very chill and nice! prices are good and their art is pretty nice! you feel at home with them. I got my tongue and nips pierced and they called me a badass for it lol we talked about tattoos and stuff, and they loved my chest piece too. Definitely plan on coming back for maybe another piercing and lots of tattoos!

I wish I had read the reviews for this place First...I would have asked for John. perhaps my experience would have been different. I had an artist for Years. Never had a bad experience in his shop, or the 2 others my daughters go too. All located here in town. Unfortunately, my guy moved & I thought Id branch out. Absolutely would Not recommend This place. I got over the rude/Highly unprofessional manner Wayne presented. Doing other shop business while I was waiting & clearly annoyed when we had to reprint His original print off, which didnt turn out. From that point on, it went from bad to worse. I Should have walked out! But I didnt...Bottom Line- After an agreed upon quote, at the end of the appointment, I was charged over double the original quote. We had only made minor changes to the lettering, so the cost increase made zero sense. Will not be returning.

Got my first tattoo here, definitely wish I would’ve looked a bit more at other places. The two brothers are pretty unprofessional when it comes to blasting music so loud it makes you jump and twitch to each beat as well as rushing your tattoo. Not to mention, way way way over priced. You would think customers come first here, like any other place but unfortunately, My friend and I have never been treated with such disrespect in our lifetime.

I will be definitely will be going back. It a small locally owed shop with no BS. Do be sure of what you want done l. Cause the guy (Wayne) who did my bumble bee is blunt & honest. I liked it though. Hes more quite while working on you. As for his twin more talkative while he works but , either way you go. It wont be a bad choice. Only 3-4 days old & I love it. Thanks for the awesome bee Wayne .

I have been getting tattoos from Jon for the last 3 years. I now have a finished black-and-white sleeve and can’t go anywhere without someone commenting on how much they like my tattoos. I trust Jon to use his own ideas and creativity and my tattoos always turn out better than expected. I highly recommend getting your tattoo here, you won’t be disappointed!

I have gotten tattoos from Wayne and John and love them all! They do incredible work and always treat me with respect. They also run specials fairly often and their work is definitely quality.

I throughly enjoyed my tattoo experience at Platinum Rose. I got a pretty decent sized tat that came at a fair price, and it didn’t take long at all! The artist showed me when he was opening up the new, sterol supplies and I appreciated that. I will definitely be back.

Won an 8 hour tap out session and was told that since I wasnt fond o a tattoo I got prior and did not want a certain artist doing it that I would not be getting the session I WON during this yhe owner yelled at me and mentioned an artist that no longer works there and said since youre so tight with her why dont you have her give it to you.I do not recommend going here not only can they not do line work nor do they know how to be professional enough to not yell at a customer.

Mom got a tattoo there over the weekend and was treated very disrespectfully by John, the co owner. First of all, Wayne is amazing. He’s a great guy and took great care of them. But Wayne’s work doesn’t go above the unprofessional way John handles his clients and complaints. My mother felt he said something rude to her but was too afraid to say anything so I posted a review on Facebook. He messaged me on the shop account asking about it and I explained, and he responded defensively. All I said after that was “anyways I’m just telling you from a customers point of view”. He then went on his personal profile and commented on his business page with a screenshot of the messages (where I said exactly that) and told customers not to believe reviews. He then messaged my mom on his wife’s personal Facebook to apologize, where my mom brought up another issue she had. He then started to call her entitled and she needed to accept an apology. I have screenshots if anyone wants, just send me a message. Thanks.

They did amazing. My bestie and I came in for Friday the 13th flashs, and it was just an amazing experience all around. Im back again today with my sister to get some more.😁

John Bisbee is the ONLY artist I’ve let do work on me for the last 5 years. One sleeve, numerous tatts and john has done 90% of them. I have never been unsatisfied w his work! Prices areGreat! I highly recommend his shop.Casey

Homophobic owner who runs an apprenticeship scam with his wife. Unsanitary environment and stolen/ google printed flash sheets. Owner hits on young women and makes inappropriate comments to clients.Update: If you know something is wrong with this shop then say it.

In short staff was very rude and made tips mandatory. Don’t get me wrong have no problem tipping but my friend and I had called and drove multiple times to the shop to get our pre paid tattoo. We finally had an opening and the man(whose name I wish I got) told us if we didn’t have tip money we need to leave after spending 40 plus dollars on top of in gas from driving from the northside multiple times. We also offered to come back another time with tip then he said I’ll do your tattoo but it’s disrespectful and I don’t have to which I then explained to him my friend and I were both in college and were short on money which his response was then don’t get a tattoo, he then proceeded to tell us to get the f*** out and kept our pre paid money.

I am currently getting my back piece done at platinum Rose Tattoo by John Bisbee. The shop is very professional and clean. The crew is super welcoming and they are fair with prices. I really injoy getting my ink done at platinum Rose Tattoo. The crew are creative artist that put a lot of time in to there work. I would recommend going to Platinum Rose Tattoo it will be a great experience (:

There’s always the 5 out of 5 stars but man I would give this shop a 10, I came in on the final day 3/15/2020 of the Friday the 13th special I got a total of 9 tattoos on myself all by Jake 💙 some of my tattoos weren’t conventional but they loved every second and I felt so at home with everyone in the shop. Finding an artist let alone a whole tattoo shop you feel so at home with is hard but this tattoo shop has definitely become my new tattoo shop home! If your debating getting anything I whole heartedly suggest coming in and consulting with them for your next artwork!

Absolutely love this place! Not only to you get top of the line art but for VERY reasonable pricing. I personally go to John, especially for black and gray work, but every artist in the shop are highly talented. Definitely found my go to place from here on out!

Got my first tattto tonight done by Detri and i could not be any happier! they did an absolutely beautiful job they were very meticulous which i appreciated. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning to book another session with Detri.

These guys are totally unprofessional and their work is low grade at best! They couldnt even do little imperial rebel symbol that was on a sheet they provided! I wish i could show you my tattt Im stuck with because you all would never go there if they couldnt even do the simplest of tattoos! They also seen them add in their tip without giving the person a choice!

The owner of the shop truly has God given talent. I had the best time and will be coming back!

This shop was super friendly! I called after a dog pulled the captive ball off my earring and couldn’t get it back in. They were able to get my earring put back together super quick

I’ve been here a few times before with an apprentice that is no longer there...and now I understand why she isn’t. I walked in today to get my friend her first tattoo and everything was fine and her mom called so we had to bounce. John was very rude and and kicked us all out saying never to come back. Over all very VERY rude staff and incredibly overpriced for their below average work🤬

I waited for 15 min to get a rose on my girlfriends wrist after being told they would be out in one min. I looked through the tattoo books listened to four of the workers laughing no customers except me and my girl. Finally one of the guys came out and after looking at the books I told myself to go somewhere else. I was right if you look up on Yelp the have 3 stars. Very unprofessional.

What an awesome place! Detri got me situated from repiercing my crooked ears (from when I was a baby) and she did an amazing tattoo correction. I couldnt recommend her or the other peeps I saw tattooing more!

Wife had an appointment scheduled that happened to fall on the first day of the virus shutdown. No one called to reschedule. She left a voicemail, I messaged on Facebook and we showed up at the shop in case someone was there. So now we are out the $50 deposit 👍🏾 They dont take cards either otherwise we could have done a charge back. Cash only. Thanks for stealing our money! This has taught me not to trust places that are cash only. Edited to add: Same review left on Facebook but also with a screenshot of my conversation and subsequent contact attempt with Platinum Rose.

Five of us walked in to get an additional part to our family tattoo and not only did they calol in another artist to help but they booked all other walk-ins for later that day so we had the whole shop to ourselves. We now have awsawes additions that mean a lot to us.

Cover up my boyfriend got done! The owner did such a great job! He was friendly and had great customer service. We were just passing through town and Im glad we stumbled upon this shop!

Do not go here, the owner is rude and their work isnt very good. Not to mention they dont have very safe tatoo practices.I saw him handle non protected equipment with contaminated gloves. Him and his wife were screaming at customers and its not good business.

I went there a few weeks ago to get a piercing and I made a appointment when I got to the shop every employee was outside smoking n talking as I walked I sat there for 5 mins until finally someone asked if I needed help the person then said it would a few min clean up the area and again I waited another 10 mins finally after 15 mins of waiting I got taken to the back to get the piercing and the girl did not seem like she knew what she was doing. After the piercing I asked if she had any after care solution and she replied no and I asked what type of any I should get and she didn’t know any brand for me to get.. it was just a overall bad experience and I would definitely not recommend this place for any work ..

John does awesome work. Im super happy with the piece hes done for me, even though its not quite finished. I highly recommend his shop!

I got a tattoo by john the line work was perfect he took his time with my tattoo and was very fare on the price I have a few friends who have been tattooed at platinum rose and none of us will go to another shop ..you can smell the cleaning supplies and just tell how clean they keep the shop .I love my tattoo and will recommend platinum rose tattoo studio to everyone...%110 satisfied

Worst scam ever went to get a quote on piece she was told 600 for a tap out it was all drawn up and set for Wednesday at 11-7 the night before my artist texted me saying it would probably be like 3 tap outs when I said I saved forever for this I cant pay more I was told if I didnt take any breaks we would get it done I showed up 10 minutes before 11 we didnt get started till 12:30 once we got started she was SHE was going slow but started picking up about 2 hrs in. Then another artist came over and said your really flying threw that fast at that moment SHE slowed down to a crawl now I got done a hr early took only a break to get a energy drink out of the car and only got a outline this place is a massive scam now I have to have a friend finish it next week trash place save your money

This is the best shop around, its very lively and personal. Great professional artists that care how your art work looks when they are finished.

Told me to come in to do a cover up so I canceled my original appointment with another artist. Then when I drove all the way there and walked in they told me they couldn’t and then for whatever reason couldn’t call me and let me know either. Never go here. Misleading & unprofessional.

I rated this one because they didnt have a 0 they gave me infection when they tattooed me I went to the doctors and they proved it was from them and it didnt just happen to me others to Im finding out Im in the process of suing them overpriced and when I tried to get a receipt they said they dont do taxes in that Im not getting one witch is illegal my next step is reporting them as will

I raided this a one because they didnt have a zero rating I got my daughters name and they went too deep and did a horrible job unsteady hands instead of taking time to perfect it they just whipped it out and they dont do refunds for messing up your skin for life I paid 150 for a little tattoo that was way over price I hope someone reads this and does not go there an end up having a mistake on their skin for life I recommend Dirty Harry if you actually want a professional to do it right In not going to overcharge you
