Jerome was the best! I’ve gotten pierced by him twice and they both healed flawlessly. He makes you feel so comfortable and makes sure you know how to take care of it! 10/10!!

I came in today to get my tragus pierced and Jerome is the absolute best. He made sure the position of the piercing was perfect. I am a chicken with piercings and he made me feel comfortable and was probably the most gentle piercer I have come across. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a new piercing. He opened everything in front of me and made sure everything was sterilized. Thank you I love my new piercing

Jerome !! I came in lastnight to get my tongue repeirced after over 10 years. I was nervous bc I didn’t want it to hurt .. he did so well, I didn’t even feel it! He explained what he was doing , sanitized many times , we had good laughs and a great experience.. I woke up this morning , and my tongue is sore , not swollen 👏🏼👏🏼.. make sure you ice , ice and ice ! Thank you Jerome ! See you soon ‘ !

I called and spoke to Jerome before driving to the shop and asked are you open then asked what was the price for what I wanted he told me over the phone but upon arrival he told me a different price…in my judgment he goes off how you look you get the better price…..my advice stay away if you a little dark and there’s no parking

Avoid at all costs!See attached pictures for what I wanted vs. what I got.Spoke with the owner who said he would fix the tattoo. He then tried to push me off to a different artist at the shop. Trying to get an answer regarding when I could come in to get it fixed was like pulling teeth.The effort wasnt worth the risk so I paid to get the tattoo fixed somewhere else.I cant be certain but Im almost positive my artist was either drunk or high on something. Wish I could remember his name.(The NYHC bottom piece was added by the Masterpiece employee because we were talking music and he said he would add it for free. That had to be covered up as well because he couldnt even make 4 letters and an X look good.)

I just got a tattoo done on my ankle with Jerome and hes honestly one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. He was so caring and patient considering this was my first tattoo and I was still indecisive about the little details. My sister also got a tattoo on her ankle, done by him. I feel like he should get a lot more credit than most people give him. His personality is great: he was funny, talkative, and entertaining.Also, their tattoo prices are the best! Other shops that we asked were very very expensive, but Im so glad I got my first tattoo with him. Its only been 2 hours since I got it done as Im writing this and only time will tell how the final product will look. But as of right now, its amazing and I wouldnt change anything about it. If youre thinking about getting a tattoo, Id definitely recommend him! Such a nice guy and talented artist. Thanks Masterpiece Ink and Jerome!!

Genuinely had such a bad experience coming to this shop. I had reached out to the owner Mike for a tattoo. We had set up a day for me to come in and he told me to come at night. I asked for a specific time and he never answered me. So I went in around 5 of the appointment and he was not there. I tried texting him, no answer, the guys at the shop tried to contact with him, no response. Later that night he finally reached out to me and set up another appointment. Which he followed through and got the first session done. 2 weeks later after the tattoo healed I reached out to him to finish it. It was like pulling teeth to get a response from him. He finally got back to me for a day and time. Told me to text him morning of the appointment. To no surprise he doesn’t get back to me and completely flaked on the appointment. Will never go to this shop ever again. For the owner to be so unprofessional is such a disappointment and now I’m walking around with an unfinished tattoo for which I will go somewhere else to finish it

The best place super clean and safe and absolutely the best service!!! Jerome is amazing and caring …I was worried letting my daughter get a piercing but I felt that we are in great hands!!! Thank you 🙏

Jinx was amazing and a very lovely person to speak to. The place is comfortable and feels welcoming, as Ive never been at a tattoo place before nor had gotten a tattoo. Prices are definitely reasonable with quality ink, with myself having sensitive skin I had no issues with what was used. Definitely want to come back here next time Im in Staten Island for touch ups and another tattoo or two.

I came here for my nose and septum piercing. Two different ppl gave me two different prices, while waiting I noticed they had forgotten me and saw others get piercings. I felt out of place and left. News flash: these folks do judge on how you look. Hmmm I was in the wrong part of town so I went elsewhere and was treated like a human. The workers are rude and it’s not so clean here. Do better guys!

Jerry did my tattoo and Im pleased with his work. The place could be cleaner. However, for the work area-he did sanitize it and open everything new in front of me. Hes a nice guy does clean work. Reasonably priced. I will go back in the future.

I LOVE MY TATTOO ARTIST RABBIT (RALPH)!!! 😁😁 He always does all my work! His coloring is amazing & he always takes the time to work with you. I always get compliments on my tattoos that rabbit does. Jerome did 2 small forearm tattoos for me last December, they were very detailed. He did fantastic work and was such a pleasure during the whole process.

My first time was absolutely amazing. I had come in for a medusa piercing & the guy there told me to come in whenever i felt ready to get a tattoo. I had gone to previous shops before who had given me the price of $80-$100 for a black line across my forearm. Even so i wanted to deal with Masterpiece specifically because of the wonderful service i was given the first time. Unfortunately said guy wasn’t there but i noticed a artist just sitting around so i decided to introduce myself but off the bat he came off rude & said my black line would range from $250 - $300 saying it is“troubling” and “not worth it”.. i was honestly shocked to be treated this way. I was hoping to have made this shop my go too for my sleeve i wanted to create but my expectations left out the door with my “troubling tattoo”

Got my ear piercing done here a while back with the needle method and the guy was sanitary and friendly. He used gloves and a clean needle. I didnt get an ear infection so it was a good service

I loved this place! Was there last night for the first time. The atmosphere is really friendly. I learned almost all their names. The tattoo quality is impressive. Felt like going to a buddys house to chill and left with a wonderful piece of art. The price was very reasonable and didnt break my budget.Shout out to Ed for my amazing first ever tattoo! Shout out to Dana for keeping us company. Shout out to Jerome for the great work on my tongue piercing. Shout out to Mike Pastore for running such a great, clean and credible establishment. The other Mike and the dude with the glasses and great hair, they were cool too. Haha.They really care about customer satisfaction. Already have two more tattoos in mind.

I called and spoke with Jerome he was very friendly and was able to take me in right away and he reopen my belly piercing. Very satisfied. Will definitely recommend.

Very nice staff but I got my midway pierced about a month ago. The earring is way too tight and have been told from many professionals its not the correct jewelry to pierce an ear with. I now have an infection and bump something similar to a keloid. I do not recommend for an ear piercing.

TRASHHHH they are soo disrespectful. I called and said that i was coming and when i arrived they said i had to wait two hours because the Piercer is doing a tattoo. Supposedly the man said I spoke to his boss and when i walked in he said the boss was busy doing a tattoo.

Mike is an extraordinary Tattoo artist. He fixed a Christ Head Tattoo for me and turned what was a so so piece into actual art. He is the best I have seen in the Tri State area.

Please avoid this place at all costs. Believe the negative reviews- they are real. The good ones are probably written by the “artists”. This place is dark and dirty. My tattoo came out terrible and the artist didn’t stand by his work. Also worth mentioning it seemed he was on drugs- which is the last thing you want when looking for a professional. Again- this place is awful and they do not stand by their work. No help fixing or refund. There are tons of better options out there.

I walked in with my friend and came back alittle after when Matt was ready and it was great! We had the tv playing and watching Shameless and it was an overall great experience. Will be coming back soon.

Listen here. This was so unprofessional. It makes me sick. I call he tells me to come in at 6 I get there at 6 then HE TELLS ME come back at 8 I come back at 8. HE TELLS ME THERE CLOSED!!! but the website says 10 closing.

Only rating it 1 star because i can’t rate it 0. Very unprofessional. Had an appointment and he said he “forgot”. He did not take me. The place is very shady as well.

Amazing energy, Jerome is the best hes very precise with his piercing and its symmetrical.

Don’t let their hours or even the “open” sign illuminated in their door fool you. Doors are locked tight before 11pm and calling ahead to give notice won’t help you any.
