We did the walk-in, the owners welcomed us in a very friendly way and made me feel at home and comfortable. Getting tattooed in this studio was a very pleasant experience And not painful at all. Im happy to be the first to bring your work to Italy. Thank you so much Bert for the great experience

My friend and I came here to get tattoos. I was considered a newbie since this was my first tattoo. The artist Sean was very kind, professional and very gentle since I have thin skin. I highly recommend getting a tattoo here. They also do piercings as well. I love this place!

Today I got tattooed by Bert and pierced by Matt and I can honestly say it was the easiest and kindest experience I’ve had thus far. Both of them do a great job of making you feel comfortable and Bert did an amazing job on my first finger tattoo. I will absolutely be going back.

Miranda is a wonderful artist, and a total sweetheart at that! She made my first tattoo a 10/10 experience. Not to mention, the shop is very inviting, and you’ll feel right at home from the first step inside. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I booked an appointment with Hailey Alara and told her what my ideas were. She got back to me asking a few questions and when my day came she showed me her sketch and I FELL. IN. LOVE. She is an amazing artist specializing in watercolors and she nailed it! I highly recommend you go to her!

I just finished my first of 2 sessions with Miranda. She is super sweet and comforting. Her communication throughout the process was amazing. She made it easy to text and kept me updated throughout everything. She took the time to create a custom piece for me and blew it out of the water! I can’t wait to go back for my next session to finish my piece!

I have had several appointments with Julia and she is now the only artist I will use. I had 3 difficult to cover tattoos and she not only took on the challenge without thinking twice but did a beautiful job. I could not recommend her enough!

Jewlz is literally the bomb! Not only is she a fantastic artist, who made me feel comfortable in her chair, but her space is clean and comfortable as well. The rest of the shop is also very clean and literally just such a vibe to hangout at. There’s couches everywhere for your friends to come hang during your session. I’m constantly recommending :)

I had Miranda do my second tattoo. I didnt have a very good experience my first tattoo but she made this visit one to remember! Me and my fiancé were running around getting errands done and just out of the blue I wanted a tattoo. By chance we met one of the artists of this establishment on the street Sean. He treated me and her with such politeness and respect and the welcoming environment of the shop itself was fantastic. As for the tattoo I received, we went from chatting on the street to being in the chair fairly quickly and Sean did an amazing job with the tattoo the line work and shading are superb and I definitely will be returning. If you’re looking for a piece with or without an appointment The Void is the only shop I’d recommend in the Washington area hands down.Thank you for reading and thank you to all the staff at the void for keeping good tattooing alive and well.

Just started my arm sleeve with Bert here at the void. If you want wildlife and want it to look realistic, hes the one to see. Started my waterfowl themed arm sleeve and he killed it on the mallard he did. Excited to finish it out.
