First of all let me apologize for not remembering everyone’s names but I just wanted to say that I had an amazing experience at this establishment. The girl with the pink hair was rocking it. She was doing her thing. She looked beautiful. She was friendly great customer service. She did not help me, but I did notice her customer service towards other people within the establishment, the woman with the braids and the really cool Freddy Krueger sweatshirt that she had on today she was amazing super friendly awesome also and then I feel absolutely horrible because the girl that really did help me with picking out jewelry, getting my paperwork done and giving advice was amazing!!!!!. She has purple hair and i really hope she makes it in this industry because she was awesome and not only impressed myself but also the piercer himself! She is absolutely adorable and she is the sweetest thing ever she was able to give great advice I wanna know her name so I can greet her properly the next time I come in because I will most definitely be coming back, they have the best customer service in this establishment not only was I welcomed, but they came around the corner to me asked me what I was there for but she asked me if I had an appointment which I did not, but they still took me in as a walk-in then I was greeted by piercer once he was ready for me and let me just say this most professional experience I have ever had his name is Syndesi!!!! 10/10 STARS! Extremely extremely nice super professional was very informative. Didn’t leave you wondering how you’re supposed to take care of your stuff asked my permission so he could show someone who will be apprenticing in the future different types of elasticities. I guess is what you wanna call it anyhow I just had a really amazing time and I just wanted to say that I am FOREVER and evolution girl now and I most definitely will be coming back to this place for any and everything that I want pierced and I will always recommend you to everyone. I was also able to get aftercare products and I really wanna go back to get some of their merch because it was super cool! THANK YOUUUU!

My husband and I got a couple piercings each last night at Evolution. It was such a nice environment there. Friendly, professional people and beautiful jewelry to match. Casey helped me get a custom industrial with a beautiful handmade piece by Noah. Absolutely love the result. Would recommend Evolution to anyone.

I had to steal one of yalls pictures bc I forgot there name but he pierced mine and my moms nose both side and help my mom and let her know that the past person who did her noes did the position wrong and she knew something was wrong bc that last place was not professional lol and he was very sweet and gentle with us always asking if we were ok he made sure it didnt hurt and ofc let us know how to care for our piercing if I ever go back Im definitely gonna ask for him again fsss im dyslexic dont get butt hurt if i didnt spell right

I have been to both locations for evolution and you will get the same great experience at either site. Great, friendly, knowledgeable professionals. Great jewelry selection. Front end staff is awesome too. They love what they do and it shows. Have been here multiple times with multiple piercers and would feel comfortable going to any one of them, they are all wonderful!

Shout out to Scott for adjusting my piercing to my liking! I freaking love it!! Highly recommend everyone here. I wasn’t satisfied with the way my piercing looked after a few days and without hesitation they adjusted my pierce. Thank you all so much for not shaming me and hearing me out! I’ve had all of my piercings at Evolution on Central but I went to the Carlisle location yesterday for new jewelry and the entire staff was phenomenal! Jesse did my jewelry exchange and it was quick and painless and he also had some great advice about some irritated piercings I have. The front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating to me walking in and set me an appointment right away. Kat helped me find pieces that I love and overall was so kind, friendly, and incredibly sweet and made the entire experience so fun! I couldn’t recommend Evolution enough!

My family has been going to Evolution for all of their piercings for several years now. I cannot say enough about this place, from the reception to the piercers.We have had both Ben and Scott perform multiple piercings. They are amazing at putting you at ease with their genuine calmness and gentle care while they perform the piercings.The selection of jewelry is vast, from stainless steel to beautiful, shiny white gold. Weve been to both Central and Carlisle locations, and if we could, we would give them ten gold stars.

Great experience! Alan was awesome! I had him do my double helix and came back a month later with my teenager for our daith. He made us both comfortable and answered our questions. Ill definitely return & highly recommend for future piercings!

I got my septum pierced here. Everyone was very friendly and nice and welcoming. They all were very thorough with explaining what was going to happen how it was going to happen and also aftercare, which is very important. Overall, it was a great experience thank you.

Today I had my 3rd lobe piercing & my 8 year old had her first ones done - amazing experience from scheduling through today! Everyone there is great with kids, very friendly and knowledgeable, and Allan did a great job putting my (very shy) kiddo at ease.Thank you all so much for making this an incredible first piercing experience for her! She was beaming in the parking lot. We will absolutely recommend to friends & will return for any future piercings!

Staff up front was extremely friendly and helpful. Got my ears pierced at a 6g by Jesse. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. Jesse did an awesome job with the piercing! This place was worth the 2 and a half hour drive. Will be coming back here for my future piercings, highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Evolution since 2011. Every time I get pierced or buy jewelry, I am treated with respect and care. All staff are professional and give thorough instructions. The jewelry is the BEST quality (lots of BVLA pieces!). Special shout out to Noah Babcock! Noah has a great vibe and he always has some historical fact to share whenever I go in. Super smart dude!

Amazing! Customer service was literally the best. Ladies at the front counters were so kind, cheerful, and specially so welcoming. I had anxiety and was nervous for my first cartilage piercing but they set such an AMAZING environment to be in and make you feel excited!! Everyone was so professional, and 100% attentive to details. Im so greatful and cant recommend this place more. Syndesi did such a great job. I appreciate it. Thank you!

When I stopped by Evolution, it wasnt to get a new piercing. I went there to ask for help with my nose piercing, which I had done at a different shop in another state. I ended up with a piercing bump, which is quite common, but it was really bothering me. The awesome piercers at Evolution consulted and offered me two solutions: either change the jewelry to a higher quality piece to see if it helps or remove the piercing because it wasnt done perfectly straight and let it heal so I can get re-pierced after it heals. I decided to remove it and let it heal. Its almost back to normal now, so Im excited to go back in about a month to get it re-pierced. Cant wait!

Came to get some jewelry switched out, the piercer was knowledgeable and the space so clean! Now let’s get to the coolest parts, the waiting rooms and the metal artwork, and glitter stumps!! One of the owners does this work! How cool is that??This place is comfortable, calm and they take their sanitation seriously, which is what you want in a piercing shop.

Editing a review after posting on the first day. I got my tongue pierced pretty easily, but they didnt give me a trainer bar, and it continuously fell out until I replaced it with one from Walmart. I went back to get a replacement and just received the same bar again. Its a standard 16 mm length internal thread that was the same size I was pierced with. I ended up going to another piercing studio and got properly downsized, getting rid of the 16 mm bar that isnt a trainer bar. If it werent for all of the continuous falling out, I would have been in incredible pain during the healing process, but it allowed it to drain and not swell all that badly. The shop was dirty, though. I was willing to come back for at least six or seven more appointments, but Ill be booking elsewhere and getting pierced. I even tipped over 25% for a tongue ring.

I go here for all my piercings, these guys are amazing!! Recently booked with Jesse to get my 4th lobe piercings and he was fantastic!! He was so friendly and easy to talk to and he did an amazing job. I never felt nervous, and my ears are healing beautifully, would absolutely recommend him!! I intend to go back soon to get my 5th lobes :))

Came here to see Noah after going to Stacy’s & the experience was night and day. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a piercing, jewelry or advice. Everyone is very knowledgeable and welcoming. The environment is comfortable as well. I will be returning!

Came here on a whim while I was spending a couple days in ABQ. Skye and Noah are who helped me out in the shop and guided me with a conch piercing that would suit me and my lifestyle. I am someone who wears Airpods all the time -- at work, running, lifting, out and about, etc, and I told both of them that was my concern with getting a conch piercing. They helped me pick the placement for my conch and the best jewelry for it and my Airpod fits perfectly! Noah was such a professional all the way from explaining the piercing process, the piercing itself and educating me on the after-care. Very professional studio, VERY CLEAN, so friendly, and I wish I could give more stars!

Got a conch piercing from Jesse. He was amazing. I felt super comfortable with him and the piercing was painless. The shop was clean and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Never had a bad experience here so far, in fact this is the only piercing shop that I feel comfortable going to in Albuquerque. The environment is almost like a doctors office :) the staff are always super friendly as well!

I want to start by saying my service was exceptional and the jeelery selection is great. I only give 3 stars because I spent over $700 on jewelry about 18 months ago and one broke in my sleep (unfortunately never to be found) and another lost a gem. I spent the money on these peices with the idea of not having to replace them anytime soon and have been really disappointed they didnt even last 2 years in my ears. 😥

Been going to this place for over 10 years, everytime they are amazing their customer service, professionalism, and expertise with what they pierce, and how they pierce from the jewelery to the sterile techniques they use Ive never had an issue with my piercings. Belly button, x2nipple, and x2daith- Syndesi Best is an amazing wonderful piercer and does amazing ear piercings and design, Allen penfold was amazing aswell they were so kind and knowledgeable and set the experience at ease and explained in detail the procedures and steps and I will continue using them for my future piercings that I plan to do. I obviously cant show some of my piercings on here.

Evolution is the only place I will go in Albuquerque for my piercing needs. They are very professional, extremely clean and always kind. I have had several piercings done here and have always been thrilled with the results. I took my 74 year old mother to get her ears pierced and the gentlemen was so kind and respectful to her. I plan on taking my kids here when they get their ears pierced. They also have gorgeous jewelry and both locations are just beautiful. I love the aesthetic of each building. I would give Evolution more stars if I could!

I’m really disappointed at the customer service — while I understand the location is undergoing growing pains, having to get on a waiting list for a simple purchase when I know exactly what I want is not something I’d expect from any shop. For me, it’s the difference between supporting and buying local vs. online shopping. It sucks to feel forced into shopping online when I made a point to try to support local.

My 4 year old wanted her ears pierced and having 0 piercings myself, I asked around. every single person I talked to told me I needed to go to evolution and see Noah. I did exactly that and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. From the second we walked in the whole staff was so sweet with my daughter. Then we met Noah and he talked her through the whole process, and made her feel comfortable and at ease. I was more nervous than my daughter and just hearing Noah explain the process to my daughter made me feel more at ease too. There was an apprentice with him and she was so thorough in explaining how to clean her piercings and what to expect when we got home. Then when we were finished, all the staff we came in contact with complimented my baby’s new piercings and made her feel beautiful. We walked out of the shop and my daughter said she felt like a princess. Thank you to Noah and all the staff at evolution for such a wonderful experience

Such a great experience!! All the staff is extremely knowledgeable and super nice!! Noah is an amazing piercer!! Im a sissy and he made me feel very comfortable and kept good conversation going so it made for an easy experience!! Would highly recommend and will definitely return if I get more piercings!! Sterilization and proper follow up care are top priority! And the jewelry selection is incredible!! Definitely purchase the soap and saline wash there! The saline was $2 cheaper than on Amazon!

I got an extremely crooked septum piercing that Bethany made perfect. I wish Id gone to her the first time. She really took her time to mark my nostrils and make sure everything was symmetrical. Thanks, Bethany, you rule!

My sister and I took our 16 year old daughters to get their belly buttons pierced. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. This place is the best! They are doing everything they can to keep you safe during Covid-19. I felt safe and well taken care of while I was there. Everyone is knowledgeable and they take your budget into consideration. Beautiful jewelry too! They picked out jewelry for my daith that I would never have picked out but looks beautiful! Very helpful with aftercare and they have supplies for you! Which is great because Im glad I dont have to go elsewhere when Im limiting my exposure to the public!

Today I went in to get a replacement bar in order to downsize my tongue piercing. Scott was super helpful, I was in and out in less than ten minutes. I was even able to avoid the one piercer Ive had difficulty with!This shop is genuinely amazing, they have quality jewelry, and very kind staff.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!! I just got my snakebite piercings here for the first time. Amazing environment and overall feel of it. My piercer was very inviting and patient! The jewelry options are great, Im just boring and got the basic metal balls lol. But 10/10 experience I loved it here!! I did forget my school ID and the coupon they gave me which is a shame 😭 It totally crossed my mind! But yeah loved it here!

Honestly I’m very disappointed.. When I got my snake bites done, they didn’t have me rinse with mouth wash beforehand. It felt unsanitary and there was mouthwash in the room. I guess the piercer just forgot? The piercings are super crooked. Like in totally different spots on the inside. The bars are way too short and swelling is making it extremely painful. But I paid $150 for it, and I had a 6 hour round trip for this piercing, and I can’t just drive back to get longer bars.I’m also very shy and was very anxious about the piercing. The piercer didn’t talk me through it or talk to me much at all. It was just a bad experience and now I don’t know if I’ll be able to save the piercing.

If you choose to check this place out, please make an appointment unless you want to go there just to make one and come back later. I got my nose repierced and they guy was professional and friendly. He really seemed to know his job well too. My daughter seemed to like how he changed her jewelry. My only complaint is the price of the jewelry. But if you want a good piece that wont give you an infection, that isnt necessarily a bad thing. You get what you pay for.

I had an appointment but I was 20 minutes late, they were still accommodating to my time and were able to complete my piercings. Awesome staff. I couldnt be happier! Cleanliness and organization is good to see.

I came to evolution because of the great reviews and referrals they had from family and friends who used them for their piercings. I am very happy with my piercing and the knowledge they have about placement and sizes of rings. . I definitely will be back.

I had a good experience with Evolution about 10 years ago, so I decided to come back for another. Bethany took excellent care of me. She made sure I knew what to expect. The piercing itself was a cinch. Im already planning my next!

I’m not a big piercing person by far, but I’ve been recommended by several people, friends and otherwise, to go to Evolution to get pierced. I went in on April 5 with my girlfriend because she was wanting to get her eyebrow pierced, and I was wanting to get my daith pierced. Scott was amazing. Evolution was amazing. Super clean, friendly, and welcoming. Scott did an amazing job at keeping me calm, and when the time came to pierce me, he kept me so calm that I didn’t even flinch when the needle went through. There’s a few more piercings I want, and I’ll be going back to Evolution for each of them ❤️

Evolution is the only place I take my daughter for her ear piercings. Professional, thoughtful, clean, and informed. My daughter’s ears heal quickly and I have been impressed by everyone there.

Best place to get a piercing! I’ve had my vch, both nostrils, and a few ear piercings done here. Bethany is the absolute best!! The studio is very clean and they prioritize sanitization. Bethany always walks me through each piercing, which is comforting. The front staff is amazing as well! Skye (not sure if that’s the correct name) was extremely helpful when it came to picking jewelry! I’m looking forward to getting more piercings here soon!

I received a Daith piercing yesterday. I was a bit anxious before I came to the shop, but because of chronic migraines, I decided to just go for it.I was extremely impressed with the professional, friendly treatment I received from the staff. Although I was a walk-in, the wait was not bad at all. My jewelry had to be steralized, so no matter how long it took, it was well worth it. The ambience is awesome, very comforting with all the plants and little pond.My piercing artist was Allan. He was friendly, knowledgable and was followed a tight sanitary process; I noticed him changing his gloves frequently while prepping for my piercing.I give this business a 5 star rating, and would add another star to show how pleased and impressed I was. Allan definately obtained my future business!

There’s not enough words to describe how incredible Evolution’s team is. They were able to facilitate a last minute appointment (on a Friday) for me to drive in from Texas specifically to have my embedded high nostrils removed. The professionalism and kindness on the phone was unmatched. They were more than happy to help me push my appointment out when my arrival time didn’t end up being as expected due to construction driving in.It was an honor to have Syndesi and their apprentice help me and have those removed. Bedside manner was incredible and they reignited my personal love for piercings and want to pursue being a professional of their standard as well.It was wonderful to overhear all of their staff taking the time to educate their clients and stress how much they care about proper materials and safety/cleanliness for their clients. I was able to have wonderful conversations with everyone as well and it truly was an incredible experience.I look so forward to coming to ABQ again to pick up jewelry. Thank you Evolution!!

Ive been visiting this piercing shop since I was 18 and have never had a bad experience. Everything is always very clean and well presented; the piercers are knowledgeable and kind. The whole atmosphere is wonderful :) Their jewelry selection is fun to browse and aftercare instructions are made very clear.

I came in 3 months ago to get a Left nostril piercing to match an existing one I have on the right side. My piercer told me that the capture bead ring they gave for to healing was lopsided / oblong so unfortunately it was going to sit crooked until I got it switched out, which sucked. I was offered a coupon for the jewelry after the healing phase but upon getting it switched out the hole was INCREDIBLY OFF and didnt line up with the existing piercing at all. The piercer blamed it on the right one, instead of owning up and admitting he didnt line it up to match at the initial appointment. I cant describe how disappointed I am, Ive known this place to be exceptional for years and have trusted them in the past, really sad to leave this review but if you are going for a new piercing maybe skip Evolutions :(

This place was great. Had a calm vibe, the piecer was great. I was pierced by Scott, and he was very educated and made sure I was informed about everything. I have had my right daith, my philtrum and my nose pierced by Scott and my inverse vertical Labret by Noah. I am very pleased with the results so far. This place was very clean, and sanitary. Although this place may seem a little on the expensive side to some, it is worth it because the piercers seem to be the most experienced in town. The staff is patient and always concerned for your health, which is also great. You pay after the piercing to make sure you are happy with it. They are ready and willing to change your jewelry for you as well.

Edit. Blair and the owners were awesome about hearing how my experience went! They refunded me for the one issue. I wouldnt go back to same piercer but would recommend this place to others. The experience with dealing with something I wasnt happy with was the best I have ever experienced. For price can find someone more affordable who does same job. Have had everything pierced and this was first time I cried after because of what was done.

Scott is amazing and really explains everything. My only issue was the jewelry I picked. They didn’t tell me until I already fell in love with the piece that it was white gold and not silver or a cheaper metal. A little expensive with gold but Scott made this a good experience for a newbie.

I am so grateful to the team at Evolution body piercing on Central. I initially went in for a nose piercing with Scott and I unexpectedly had an adverse response and we had to remove the piercing. Scott and the whole team were so kind and supportive and said that if I wanted to come back in a week to try again, that I would be more than welcome to do so. Therefore, I went in the following week and again, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Blair was so sweet and really put me at ease since I was nervous about returning for the second time. Scott was kind, patient and empathic and despite my nose still being sore from the piercing the previous week, Scotts skill and expertise made the entire experience just about painless. And the icing on the cake was that the second piercing was a complete success. In fact, it was such a great experience that Im considering getting some more piercings in the future so I will definitely be back to see Blair, Scott and the rest of the lovely Evolution team. :)

I’ve been a client since 2002. Evolution is highly professional and sanitary. They have highly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff & piercers. The owners are great people. Their studios are definitely the best in town.

Evolution is always my place to go for new piercings. Scott and Noah have done all of my piercings and they are always helpful, talkative, and make the whole experience very pleasant. I’ve also been at an appointment for my friend with Syndesi, who provided the same experience. They always make sure that they know what you want, and Noah has creative ideas with his jewelry! I’ve also gone to them for help with healing and they have great advice. It can get expensive but in my opinion it is worth it for the care you receive.

They have a good selection of excellent jewelry and show you how it works as well as explain to you the after care of your piercing. SYNDESI BEST was absolutely amazing. Went in for my daughter to get her ears pierced and he was very patient and explained everything!! Though she didnt end up getting them pierced, the amount of time and explanation he did, was above and beyond!I also had an appointment right after for my septum and it went perfect!Very friendly and clean environment, will definitely be returning!!

Absolutely would recommend! They are THE most intensively responsible about CLEANLINESS of piercing tools, jewelry, selves, etc I have EVER seen!!! Knowledgeable, patient, so friendly & completely respectful. I have never been so at ease ever in such a business. Plus, Allen pierced my navel so precisely & quickly that I honestly barely felt a thing. Shocked lolol. They use implant quality steel. I should have no issues with infection & closing up like a couple of piercings i had previously in years past at other locations with other materiala. 100/10 experience!! They were super professional, kind, and informative. My mom and I got our piercings here. I received a daith, tongue, and lobe piercing. I highly recommend Bethany Day, she was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had a good experience. For getting three piercings, I barely feel any pain. She walked me through the process and was very patient. Im also very thankful for Grayson, they were informative, super helpful, and wonderful to chat with. Its expensive, but its very fairly priced. I have been here a few times. Great place, clean and friendly. Very professional. For those people that want to criticize about wait time, I suggest you do some research first and make an appt. There are people who do walk-ins and wait, because they want to spend time, making choices on jewelry and need that time. I have done a walk-in before, because I want to take my time to browse and make a choice.Waiting times are good, you can take the time to evaluate your decision as well. Im from NYC, we do the same exact thing there.

Staff is SO friendly. I’ve been to Syndesi and Scott and they were both awesome. Super clean and well done, eager to listen to any concerns or requests. Pricey but worth it because that means they take good care of their clients.

I think we’re really blessed to have such a wonderful piercing studio in Albuquerque. I’ve gotten a few piercings since 2012 or so, but today was really exceptional. I unfortunately didn’t ask her name, but the person who helped me pick out jewelry was really kind and patient, as well as really accommodating going through options with me. You can get a ton of color options for the captive beads - totally didn’t know that. Allen was great, and we had a lovely conversation about aliens. Thank you all 🙏🏻

Great selection of jewelry, and everything is high quality. I went somewhere else recently and while the piercer herself was great, the jewelry was junk, and it’s making the healing process way longer. So I’m switching back to evolution for the next one. 👍

Professionalism and flexibility are what we encountered at every step of the way. The staff made every effort to reschedule our daughter for an ear piercing that very same day after we foolishly did not comply with the identification requirements. They are truly a class above the rest in the city and it shows at every step of the process.

My mom turned me on to Noah years ago. I now will only get my piercings done at Evolution.Recently took my daughters, he is fantastic with teenagers and knows how to make them comfortable. But his true incredibleness is with kids. My 5 year old tried 3 times to get her ears pierced. Each time he was patient with her and gave her crystals to boot. (Needless to say. That was a highlight) when she finally got them done, she was comfortable with Noah, knew what to expect and went thru with it with very little fuss. I have thanked Noah endlessly, but really the entire team is incredible and has made my kids experiences so awesome!

There is a detail oriented system that works well to keep their work space clean that is explained on their website and is reviewed again when you enter. There is an amazing supply of jewelry to choose from. I was one of the last appointments of the day and I did not feel rushed in anyway. The man helping me choose my jewelry was very nice, welcoming, educated and answered all of my questions. Syndesi was my piercer and he was very willing to share his knowledge. The entire experience was just great. I do recommend going in to look at the jewelry so you can have a more accurate estimate of prices if going for your first time. There is a large price difference between the basic jewelry vs other options.

I got my daith pierced today by Noah and he did an excellent job!! I chose him based off the other reviews and he lived up to the expectation. He was professional, knowledgeable, and caused little to no pain when he did my piercing. The atmosphere of the shop was beautiful and the rest of the staff were very professional as well. I highly recommend getting your piercings done here and I will be back in the future to have more work done myself. I rate them a 11/10 you wont be disappointed.

I lost a piercing that was part of a trio. I was concerned that I wouldnt be able to match it. Little did I know that Evolution keeps records of what youve purchased previously. Every piercing I have gotten here was amazing but my most recent piercing (re piercing my nipples) is what made me want to write this review. I made the appointment and the day before called them to let them know that I’m getting them repierced bc one of them got ripped out so there is going to be a lot of scare tissue and my anatomy may not work since my nipple is in half, they assured me that it was fine and that they are sure it will still be able to be pierced. I went in and they were super quick with getting me seen and Syndesi Best was amazingly professional and awesome at calming me down and making sure I was as comfortable as possible.Even though I couldn’t get it pierced horizontally (which I expected) he still worked out something not only amazing but something that will last. Even though it was the worst pain of my life (no fault of Syndesi at all, I was expecting this since it’s a repierce and there was already a lot of trauma to the area) he paused after the first one, let me collect myself, assured me he wouldn’t do the other one till I was ready, even when he first asked, “are you ready?” After some time and I said no he didn’t act annoyed and just said, “ok” and continued to converse with me and my boyfriend until I said I was ready. Then he walked us up to the front to pay, answered any and all questions, made sure I was feeling ok bc I was shaking quite a bit lol, and him and the wonderful person who checked me out (I didn’t catch their name unfortunately) assured me that if I feel faint I could stay there as long as I needed and that they would give me juice and whatever else I may need. Me and the person checking me out then had a wonderful conversation and I left feeling amazing, comfortable, validated, and so excited about my new piercings. Thank you guys again! Every time I come in is amazing and I will be back many more times!!

I went in with a friend for the first time to watch them get their lip piercings done, after that first visit I decided that this would be my new place for piercings! Staff is very kind, place is clean, and they are willing to work with you! My friend’s jewelry selection was out of stock, but the staff was knowledgeable and very patient while they found the best fit for them! Very pleased and will be returning

This was my first time at Evolution. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the business. I was greeted by a young man who really needs to learn how customer service works. He’s very cold and makes you feel as if he doesn’t have time for you. I was taken back at exactly my appointment time and was then greeted by my piercer SCOTT. This guy is AMAZING!!!! He’s very friendly and calming. He has such a warm and welcoming demeanor. I will definitely go back to see Scott when I need to change my jewelry! Hopefully before that time comes, the guy at the front will be promoted back to customer.

When I called the information was really helpful and I was surprised they didn’t just pressure me right away to just come in. They didn’t have much of a variety for 11/16 which I get it, it’s a weird size but I came from the reviews that said there was a beautiful option. For other jewelry definitely! Gauges not so much. Also I did end up getting the pirex ones that were available but when I unboxed them I realized one of them was missing the black back to keep it in my ear.

They were amazing, very clean, very professional. Allan Penfold was amazing. The staff members who helped with intake and then check out were also great. Very informative, clean place, makes you feel safe.

Overall a good experience even though I didnt end up getting a piercing or purchasing jewelry. Positives were that the shop is very clean and beautiful. Also, the person checking me in for my appointment and the front desk person helping me browse jewelry were both very kind. Negatives were that they didnt have a lot of gold tone septum pieces to choose from and there was an awkward miscommunication. The front desk person said the piercer could install a piece into a piercing I already have and that if it didnt look the way I wanted, then I didnt have to purchase it. Ive been to dozens of piercing shops and this seemed a bit strange but I went with it. When I asked the piercer if I could try on the jewelry I got the impression they thought I was an idiot for asking. The piercer also seemed like they were in a hurry to finish up with me. I probably wont seek out that particular piercer again but definitely would come back to browse their gorgeous jewelry selection.

Evolution is amazing and I cant recommend highly enough. I got 4 piercing done in one day and the staff were incredible. The piercer I got was careful and meticulous and ensured everything looked perfect and with a minimum of pain. Best of all, they are careful about sterilizing products so my piercings are healing better than any other ones I have ever had done. The price of evolution is slightly higher than other places, but is totally worth it to avoid infection after piercing and to ensure the piercings are exactly what you want. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in piercings in Albuquerque.

The staff are all welcoming, organized, and knowledgeable. I was pierced by Bethany today and it was the best piercing experience Ive ever had. I will never go anywhere else! Great selection of jewelry-one of the staff gave me great guidance in picking out my jewelry for my piercings and was all around patient as well as helpful! Bethany has an eye for placement and the piercings hurt a lot less than I anticipated! The apprentice that was assisting in the process was also really great. Amazing environment! The front is so calming and relaxing and all the staff is super friendly and professional. The back area was so clean and sanitary, the hygiene of the facility and staff was overall very great. I had two dermal piercings removed and Alan did a great job, he made me feel very relaxed/comfortable and had a lot of patience. One of my dermals had been under my skin for a couple years and he did an amazing job at removing it and making sure I was okay in the process, it was a stubborn piercing but he finally got it with as little scaring as he possibly could. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Got my daith pierced by Syndesi Best, and no complaints with the actual piercing experience. It went relatively quick and the shop has a very welcoming feel to it. Everyone was very knowledgeable and very kind and respectful. Very clean and appreciated seeing the staff clean after interactions and after the piercing. The only complaint I have was how long I was there. I did schedule an appointment, and it took longer waiting to be called back than it did to actually be pierced. I was there for about an hour, and again waited longer than it took for the piercing to be done. Only reason I have to bring my rating down to a 4.

It was such a welcoming and wonderful environment, the person that assisted me at the front was very informative and helpful. Bethany did my nipple piercings, and she was an absolute sweetheart! Ive gotten seven piercings here across five trips, as well as just getting help putting some jewelry in a healed piercing, and I have never had a bad experience. Im honestly disappointed in my most recent experience at Evolution. Ive been coming here for 8 years and my most recent visit was extremely off-putting.I was hung up on several times when you needed to call stating your arrival. I had an appointment. Every question I asked was answered with a rude response. When I asked for a price on a piece of jewelry and mistakenly said piercing I was given a range of $40 after stating exactly what jewelry I was looking for.Im shocked at how rude the front desk girls were.Im extremely disappointed.To clarify my piercing experience was great, Noah does a wonderful job every time.I only wish that the customer service experience was better and friendly.

I went in for a nostril piercing. Scott Self was my piercer and he did an amazing job! We was very professional and clean and made me feel totally comfortable. I went in to get a septum piercing by Noah and the whole experience was fantastic. The shop is gorgeous, the staff is knowledgeable and chill. Noah is a fantastic piercer. He helped me feel super relaxed and calm and walked me through all the details of keeping my piercing clean and healthy. They are super serious about cleanliness and making sure everything is sterile. The whole process was just really awesome. They provided me with salt for my cleaning solution and they sell super affordable soap to use on your piercings. Overall a fantastic location and experience.

It is too expensive. They did a good job kn my nose ring, but that cost $200. I came back, and I was quoted $322 for a helix piercing this morning. I just got it done with the same gold ring for $73 at Factory Edge. Its not worth the prices.

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced and I myself go to Scott he did my dermal’s on my face 8 years ago and still there. Anyways Scott did a great job on making my daughter feel comfortable and welcomed.. those places in the mall are HS kids who just got trained a few weeks ago and on top of that you shouldn’t allow anyone to put any type of gun to your child’s head!! Don’t be cheap go to a place where they know what’s up and have the best pros around!!

Noah was awesome! I was in and out probably in about 20 min and he was super professional, really put me at ease and the actual piercing process was about three seconds. He said, Okay, worst part with the needle is over and okay, your piercing is in! and it was so quick I thought he was kidding for a second. :) Great experience. This is the only place in Albuquerque to get pierced. The jewelry selection is large and beautiful. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and have the highest degree of training available. Most importantly their sterilization and sanitization practices are better than Ive seen in some hospitals.

So the lady lied about what I needed for my daughters piercing. She would not let us get her piercing there. And we had all the information right? I just Google it and she lied evolution is horrible. They do not want our business, I guess.

Came here after seeing good reviews and hearing some word of mouth from others. To be clear, the ONLY downside to this place was their prices. We were extremely happy with everything else. Piercings went well and healed well. The room was extremely clean and I could tell the doc was being over-the-top cautious. Thank you.

The staff are courteous and professional and they always follow clean pricing procedures. Everyone I know who has gotten pierced here highly recommend it. My only issue was that for my first ever nose piercing they did a hoop instead of a stud. This caused the healing process to take way longer than normal.

Evolution is absolutely the only place I will go for a piercing. The piercers here are amazingly talented and as professional as doctors. Every piercing I’ve had done here has been virtually painless because of how meticulous and experienced the staff is. Not to mention their jewelry selection is amazing and you can be confident that they will only sell you jewelry that is safe for you to heal in. I have brought all of my friends and family here and will continue to recommend this place over all others. If you are nervous about your piercing I highly recommend requesting Noah as your piercer (though all of the staff is amazing). He has had me laughing and smiling through all of my piercings and has been able to answer all of my questions about healing and whatnot in great detail.All in all, I truly believe that if you go here you will feel completely safe, comfortable and confident that you are in good hands. Edit: the owners have reached out to me and have gone to great lengths to make this right. There was a miscommunication about remaining covid capacity limits. I will be returning here when my younger daughter wants to get her ears pierced because I truly believe Evolution offers the safest and most sanitary piercings in Albuquerque. This interaction was so unfortunate and I’m really happy to be able to return without any reservations.I took my daughter there today because she was so excited to start replacing her lobe piercings with different stones and colors. My daughter was refused service because I didn’t have childcare for her younger sister. I asked them if I could hold her for the entire appointment to mitigate their safety concerns. They refused. I offered to have the appointment outside since we were not there for piercings, only to buy jewelry. They refused. I asked if they would just take my credit card inside and let her pick some earrings through the window. We were flat out refused any service at all because we had “agreed to only bring one other person to the appointment.” I tried to offer creative solutions so I could just give these folks money in exchange for some jewelry for my super-excited daughter. Instead, my child left disappointed, sad, confused, and cold (they keep you waiting out on the sidewalk). This was a heartless and unnecessary legalistic application of their policies. All this while adults, fully capable of managing their own appointments, were allowed to bring in their partners, friends, etc.

I just had my old piercings taken out and had new ones placed by Greasen as I could not physically take them out myself. She did an amazing job, was so kind, personable and gentle. I also love the selection of jewelry! Its well worth the price!! Will not be going anywhere else but here in the future.

I’ve had three piercings here to date and they were all fantastic. Everyone in the shop is courteous and knowledgeable. Allen does an amazing job. My septum that he did was my easiest piercing to date and also my favorite. There’s a great selection of high-quality jewelry and they don’t sell or use anything that isn’t biocompatible. The shop is extremely clean and clinical in the piercing rooms. There are several private areas where piercings are done that’s separate from the front of the shop, which is very cool and aesthetic. The little rooms that piercings are done in feel like a doctor’s office, complete with exam table and sharps containers.If you have questions related to a piercing, the best thing you can do is ask. I had a minor infection in one of my ear piercings due to going for a swim and not cleaning it as well as I should have after. I called and after taking the advice I was given, the infection cleared up within a few days. If I hadn’t called, or the people who helped me hadn’t been as knowledge as they are, the infection easily could have gotten worse and caused me to lose the piercing. Thankfully, everyone here knows what they’re doing and have given me great new piercings and helped save some older ones that had been done poorly.

Just visited the new location on Carlisle and I am so grateful for the excellent experience I had !I visited to have my nostril jewelry exchanged due to poor fitting at a different piercing shop. From the moment I walked in, I received high quality service from a very kind lovely lady whom I assume is the receptionist.From there Scott the piercer helped me with no judgement, complete professionalism, and very clear after care instructions.Lastly I would like to add how immaculately clean and sterile everything was.Thank you guys for your support today 😊

I’m not sure if she is one of the receptionist but I kept having to cancel my appointment because things happened all in one day, she was so sweet and genuinely concerned about what was going on. Best place to get pierced in Albuquerque and the only place Ill trust. I had my nose pierced 2 years ago, it went well and healed beautifully! I just recently got my eyebrow pierced by Scott Self. Super awesome guy and did a great job with my piercing. Im in love with how my eyebrow looks and the best part is there wasnt much pain at all, and It feels like a natural part of my face now. Evolution is very clean and the staff is very friendly!

It was extremely expensive. My son was trying to get classic snake bites & was told that the spikes for an open ring would be $25 each so $100 for 4 plus the $45 per ring, this was the price minus the piercing that was another $40 per piercing!! They did offer 10% the piercings due to their being multiple but in the overall it was still going to be a ridiculous amount of money!! If I could give 0 stars I would but the lowest is 1 so.

Not a bad thing to say about this facility. Very clean and well maintained, and the staff are extremely well trained. The comfort and well-being of their clients is a top priority. Ive had four piercings done here and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for body modifications. While the wait may be a bit long, the end results are worth it. And remember, if you want quality, you have to be willing to pay for it. I live in Cruces, but would make the drive just to make sure my piece is done right.

I got my nose pierced here. Very clean and welcoming; the staff are awesome and friendly not only that they are helpful with answering any questions or fears Ive had. Ive had my nose pierced for 8 months now and I LOVE IT! The size, the placement. Bravo!Also the design and decor of this place is amazing. If I had the choice Id spend all day there reading adventure books. Lol (very cool decor). Makes me think of one of my favorite characters. (Indiana Jones).

All staff was friendly, helpful and professional. COVID protocol was taken very seriously, screening questions were asked and temperature was taken at the beginning of the appointment. Capacity was kept to a minimum to ensure social distancing is possible. Everything is explained thoroughly, and the environment is clean and comfortable. I was pierced by Syndesi, he was well spoken gave me all the information I needed. I felt welcomed and comfortable. I got two piercings done, a nostril and a septum piercing. He did them with ease, and was very kind and patient. Would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely return...also their website is very helpful.

Ive been coming to Evolution for years. I have 10 total piercings on my body and Noah did 8 of them. The man is gifted as hell, and honestly? Hes one of the most professional and knowledgeable people Ive ever met, and not just in his field, about a ton of stuff.His bedside manner is great, hes calm, courteous, kind, and I wouldnt have gotten some of the more... Intimate piercings I have if it hadnt been for him, he took excellent are of me and explained all my aftercare for 4 of my not-immediately-visible piercings.We did our research, we went based on recommendations, and Ill keep coming back. I carry some of Noahs cards on me to give out to people who ask about my piercings and my jewelry! As youre scrolling through reviews youll see a lot about Noah. Theyre true, he is AMAZING! I went in for a septum piercing and was super nervous, he really calmed me down. He talked to me about sushi and his makeup style back in the day, which was hilarious. He really knew how to make me comfortable. But you shouldnt expect anything less from someone who has been doing his job for 24 years! The guy at the front who checked me in and got the process going was really nice and did a good job of paying attention to us even though he was dealing with other people at the same time. The waiting room was BLISS, there is plant life everywhere, 2 coy ponds that are also fountains, and they play the most relaxing music as well, it really helped to calm the nerves. If I ever decide to get another piercing I will go back here. I recommend these guys 10000%! Thank you to the amazing people at Evolution!

Place is pricey costed 330 for both kiddos first ear piercing and that included the cleaner the items are price based my youngest picked the highest priced earrings and my oldest picked the lower priced earrings so worth it! Also super clean and sanitary temp checks when first walk in and sanitizer given out the questions asked as well as a reminder to not touch our faces and to not touch anything to prevent sickness staff wears masks and customers are mandatory as well always cleaning between customers the whole process is done if you run out to your car! First time here first piercing we had Allan and he was awesome really thorough and great with my kids whom were nervous but excited and he explained to them everything they needed to know explained to me how to keep their piercing clean and made my kids feel at ease Allan did an awesome job! wasnt painful for them until later the usual expected Allan made us feel like we known each other for some time and that was an awesome thing for us definitely will be coming back to get my other 3 kiddos done highly recommend Allan! All around the staff were great!

I went back in August to have my nipples pierced. Noah was so sweet and comforting as I was extremely nervous. Very professional from all the workers. The whole shop had a nice and comforting vibe to it which was really nice. 15/10 would recommend to come here. I will also be coming back in the future for more piercings.

I had a fantastic experience here!! Bethany was super informative, friendly, and helpful when piercing and talked us through each step of the piercing process. The atmosphere in the lobby is super calming and relaxing with water fountains, live plants, and koi ponds. Comforting, safe, and clean environment to get a piercing at.

I went for a consultation for my septum. I had my septum pierced on Sunday and went to factory edge at cottonwood. The piercer there did an awful job. I went to Evolution and saw Ben. He told me right away what was wrong. He took it out for me and told me to go back in a month after it has healed their shop was very nice and clean inside. Will definitely go here from now on! Can’t wait till it heals so I can get it done correctly!

I went to get the ashley piercing done, the whole thing was overpriced. i paid about $170-180. the piercer did it uneven. when i asked him twice if he could pierce it in the center of my lip he said no youre not suppose to line it up with the septum but i see alot of pictures where people do have it in the center. i bleed alot and it seemed like the guy was panicking because his hands were shaking, he also said it rejected it and dropped the jewelry, i told him hold on/ stop because it was hurting and he still continued.

Stopped in just to browse jewelry - I know exactly what I want and a quick 2 min browse would answer my question to see if what I wanted was available. I was informed I need to make an appointment or wait 45 min. Ive been in many piercing studios in Oregon and never had an issue with just coming in and seeing the selection. After moving to new mexico this feels like a very new Mexico way of doing things. Just surprised... Not clear that Id have to make a consult appointment to even get in the door. Left without seeing anything. Probably wont be back.

If I could I would give Noah way more stars than this. Noah was amazing! He talked to my daughter about her classes and made myself and my daughter feel comfortable. He was super fast. First, wanna say I love this place. I got a nose piercing this month and am very satisfied. I got two earlobe piercings yesterday. The one stud I picked was supposed to be the same size as my nose stud, but I realized after the piercing was done that it was actually a size up. I probably wouldve caught the mistake if I saw the jewelry in advance before it was put in my ear. Its still beautiful (and the color is right), but I will probably ask for the piece to go into another piercing the next time I come in, and Ill double check that the jewelry size I asked for is correct both in the jewelry section and in the piercing room. It might also be helpful to have the jewelry clerks explain the sizing in objective terms versus having the customer pointing just to the one they want. I remember pointing more than once to the stud I wanted at the request of the clerk, and I can see how there might have been a mess-up on the clerks end.

Shop was super clean and Allan was nice. Had good convos. The piercing I got was a double nostril one. Absolutely loved it. My piercing was symmetrical. Allan was very experienced and gave me tons of info. Will go back. 10/10

All the reviews said ask for Noah if you were unused to piercings so I booked an appointment with him. Their site was easy to navigate and easy to book with. When plans changed and I showed up an hour early to my appointment they took me right away. The staff were kind and friendly and getting a piercing was a nice and easy process. I would definitely recommend Evolution to anyone getting a piercing!

Their quality of work is always excellent. however since covid the pricing has gone up significantly! My daughter went in for a belly button pierce and reopen her ear piercings that closed up and it costed $350. One of her earlobes barely needed reopen and the guy still charged full price. I would say for simple piercings like ears, belly button, or even nose, go somewhere else cheaper but go to them for the more complicated piercings.

I got a septum piercing here yesterday and everyone was so lovely. Noah did my piercing and he was absolutely great, he made me feel so comfortable and I love how it looks. Out of all the face piercings I ever got I expected this one to hurt the most but it actually was absolutely pain free.

Syndesi did our piercings and he was absolutely amazing. This place is pretty expensive but it’s honestly worth it for the atmosphere, cleanliness, COVID-19 precautions, and incredibly friendly staff. Syndesi himself was very kind and professional and made it clear that he wanted us to feel as safe and satisfied with our piercings as possible, and made sure that all of our questions/concerns were addressed before & after. The ladies at the front desk were also amazing & kind and thoroughly walked us through the jewelry and the aftercare process, and helped us pick out the best jewelry for what we were looking for. At no point did it feel like they were upselling anything, even when they recommended their own saline spray/soap they made it clear that there were other options available that would work just as well. I got my septum pierced by Syndesi and I have never had a more pleasant piercing experience. The shop is beautiful and the staff is so helpful and friendly. The prices are on point, just pricey enough for you to know that it’s going to be quality. Evolution is a very safe place to get pierced, it’s clean and has plenty of jewelry options although the jewelry can be a little pricey. But their jewelry is very well made and worth the expense. My piercing experience was quick and easy, Noah explained everything I needed to know and they supplied me with things necessary for the after care process. There are only two reasons they don’t have five stars: follow up appointments had very long waits (regardless of if I made an appointment online or walked in) and I wasn’t healing as well as expected and when I went back with concerns I got different answers each time from different piercers.I would still, without hesitation, recommend evolution to anyone wanting a piercing.

Ive been coming to Evolution since I was 19, Im 34. Every time Ive gone for a piercing, since the first one, Noah is the one that pierced me. All of the staff are super helpful and kind. Many of the staff have changed out piercings when Ive purchased new jewelry and theyre all great and gentle. Theyre currently limited on the less expensive nose rings that you can change on your own, but theyre waiting on their new supplier to send the new jewelry and it sounds awesome and Im looking forward to it. This is the only body piercing place I recommend.
