Simon is the absolute best! He so patient and kind and has done a majority of my tattoos. I just got two done by him this weekend and they are perfect of course!

I walked in and was greeted and seated with a warm smile. JD came out helped me as I already knew what I wanted, 1 of two designs. He suggested to me that design 1 wouldnt look good unless it was much bigger because of the lines. We went with design two, and he made it easy. I had the image on my phone so I emailed it to him and he made a transfer to the perfect size to match the tattoo on my right hand.After positioning the tattoo perfectly, He went to work on it. At the end, He added white to super defined areas, which added to the perfection. JD is very professional, as many years experience, and I will return for more INK from him

Came for Friday the thirteenth! service was exceptional and even though they had a line wrapping around the building they worked at a great pace. all the artists and staff were kind and. I got a piercing from Alexander, did great work as an apprentice he was attentive the whole time. I got flash from Simon, he was awesome I LOVE the quality of the tattoo. Ive always love the shop, will always recommend this shop.

I was visiting from California and found this shop. After reading the reviews, I decided to book. Simon reached out to see what design I had in mind. He listened to all my ideas and pictures and brought my vision to life and exceeded my expectations. The shop was clean, all the staff were friendly, the music/environment was welcoming and relaxed. The price was very reasonable. Simon is very talented and I highly recommend him and this shop.

Very clean, friendly environment. Was in town for a week and was able to get 3 tattoos total. Came in for 2 initially and got those done by Chris (did a great job), then decided it was time to get a large, old one covered up. I was able to come back a few days later and get that done in one session. JD did a great job and covered up a large tattoo for me in no time at all. It had been an insecurity of mine for a very long time and I finally feel good again. They are flexible, nice, and work with you on your budget if you’re in a pinch. Highly recommend this place and all of their staff do great work. Always have awesome music playing as well.

Went in today as a walk in, felt welcomed by the staff right away. Great environment. Chris did my tattoo and did an amazing job, took his time and it came out exactly how I wanted. The fine lines are so crisp and beautiful. He made me feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to and very professional.

Fantastic experience at this shop with JD. Stopped in while visiting Albequerque for the week and was able to get a fairly complex tattoo completed on the same night. Everyone in the shop was friendly and the shop had a great atmosphere. For someone who already has a full sleeve and a few other tattoos, I was very impressed with the quality of my new tattoo and the speed that it was completed. The pricing was also better than I expected and well worth jt.

I actually feel very devastated to be writing this review as I have gotten ALL of my tattoos and piercings done here (besides one tattoo and one piercing). I even brought like 6 friends and family members here to get work done at various points. Simon and JD did my work, as well as one other guy whos name I cant recall. They were awesome! This was the shop I recommended to EVERYONE, and unfortunately now it will be the shop I advise people to stay away from. The guys who used to be there were so sweet, idk if theyre still there.However, we came from out of town the other night to get some food and I remembered the promotion that was posted for the zia tattoos. I was excited to go back, it was about 2 hours til close. We first went to the shop near where the old Walmart used to be. They literally refused to do my tattoo and said it was their choice if they wanted to participate in that promo or not. Understandable, but that definitely shouldve been made clear in the actual promo. They said to go to the new location downtown and they would do it there. I guess getting up off the couch was a lot for them. They were pretty rude.Upon arrival at the other shop, we were met by a nerdy guy (not being mean, just thats how I would describe him) glasses, dark hair. Said he was the only artist there at the time and he was too tired to do my tattoo. TWO HOURS before close. Why even be open at that point? We tried to see if there was anything else he would do that wasnt the zia promo at which point he told us he was out of grippy things and his hands would hurt.. and he had already done a million tattoos that day and he was tired. At which point, my husband offered him a redbull we had in the car, just jokingly. That dude ended up cussing us out and literally chasing us down the stairs and into the parking lot.. threatening us and acting completely insane.. I am DISGUSTED. He refused to give us his name or the owners info. So if the owners of this company would like to reach out regarding this, Id love to address it. If not, we will just simply never return, as sad as that is to me. That was the most insane experience and was actually very scary. I do not recommend going there and asking for a tattoo at the tattoo shop.. apparently thats a lot to ask and theyll literally get aggressive with you. Very disappointed to see what has come of this place since we moved.. it used to be a really good place.

I went in with an emergency. I had to get my nose ring taken out for an mri. This guy has 15 years experience with piercings, and he had it out in no time. I got to my appointment on time. I love feeling safe about my body art. Im definitely coming back

Got my nipples pierced for my birthday. I was terrified but I felt very safe and where I got them done was very private. I was pierced by a man and he was very sweet and didnt feel off at all. He even brought in this sweet girl that I met on the way in to help check and she felt equally safe to me. I also bought tattoo ink here, its very good👍

Went to get my 17 month old baby to get her ears pierced and it was amazing experience. Simon and Lex made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Lex helped comfort my daughter and I. Simon was so patient with her and did an amazing job. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great environment

Both my girls got service today one got a tattoo on got a piercing by the guy Simon he is amazing he does great tattoos and piercings so if you ever go got see him I also had work done by him it was a cover up and normal tattoo as well from simon he do amazing work

Dont get me wrong this place is great, however Simon pierced my friends dimples and she has to take them our the second day of having them a little over 24 hrs. He didnt put the right bars in and now shes going somewhere else to get it taken care of. There was puse coming out and she was in extrem pain. Also made 3 of us very uncomfortable 😕.... man, I use to love this place....

I had the pleasure of working with Chris. I wanted some simple line work and I appreciate how he worked with me asked my opinion. The shop does walkins and I was super happy with that. Theres also multiple talented tattoo artists and piercers that work there.

My son and I went in and both got tattoos, which we were extremely pleased with them. Our tattoo artist was Chris Lomboy and he was very professional and a nice guy, we felt welcomed and at ease by everyone who was there on Monday. (October 16, 2023) We had appointments for 10 and 11 am, which I set up the week before with Chris himself. I had seen an advertisement on Facebook of an upcoming event for Friday the 13th of October 2023 of a special to get tattoos done for $20 (additional costs vary) and had the option to pay $5 for a scheduled time and date at either location, I decided to pay the $5 for myself and $5 for my son rather than go on the 13th and hope to get a tattoo done for us both, definitely worth the $5 to reserve a date and time. This event was a definite great deal and the outcome of our tattoos was outstanding! My son, this being his first tattoo was already wanting his second tattoo. The people were friendly, outgoing, made us feel at ease and the overall experience was one to remember and look forward to doing future tattoos with Chris and Albuquerque Ink. I highly recommend them. If they have another event as this or even with piercings is worth taking advantage of and I would definitely get in on, best deal of the year I have come up on and was able to use. Thank you!

Brian did matching tattoos for my husband and I for our 30 year anniversary, he was hilarious and professional. Apparently the other tattoo artists didnt want to do our tattoos because they were smaller approximately 3X3 but Brian stepped up and we are very happy with his work. Highly recommend going to him!!

I got a simple tattoo here a few months ago, walk in of a scorpion outline. I asked my artist to reposition the stencil to be centered on my stomach better/below my belly button. Instead of doing what I asked (you know, cause ultimately I am the one walking around with it for the rest of my life) my artist gaslit me into saying my other tattoos on my stomach were uneven, which they are not. I understand everyone is shaped different, but this tattoo is clearly off center. Now, I would’ve liked the tattoo if the artist listened to me (can’t remember his name) & worked to center it with my other tattoos, uneven or not. Now it looks like an uneven bug leaning towards on side instead of straight up and down. Super disappointed in the result. Also, even with proper aftercare, this has been the first tattoo that I’ve gotten that also has scars on the line work from going in too deep (I have about 15).

Best walk-in tattoo experience I have ever had how to family member come in out of town we walked in together didnt know what we really wanted but they came up with our tattoos we explained we kind of were looking for and they did it within a timely manner and it was the best experience we ever had

Simon hooked it up and let me tell you it was such a good experience. This was my first tattoo and Simon really helped me make sure it was what I wanted and that I was good through the whole thing. Highly recommend this place for sure. The place was clean set and he made sure to clean and sanitize the whole area before and after my tattoo. I literally can’t speak higher of this guy. If you’re debating about coming through you have got to just do it. This place will get you in and out with great work done.

Jesse C is a visionary, a true artist with talent beyond his years. If I have to drive to Albuquerque from Nebraska to get inked by Jesse again, I’ll do it in a heartbeat.

Ive gotten 2 tats and a piercing from Simon. Real cool guy, very talented. First tat I got with him I brought in a paper with writing in sharpie, he knew exactly how to replicate it to look like marker on my arm. Second tat, awesome work. Today I went in for a piercing and asked last second for a tattoo, he was able to get me in with another artist named Jesse. Also very talented, made sure to check in with me every step of the way and asked if I wanted anything else before wrapping up. Simon and Jesse are awesome, I will definitely keep coming back to see them.

I took my sister for her first tattoo for her birthday spontaneously and looked up places for walk ins and came across Albuquerque Ink. You know the reviews are where it’s at so after some scrolling we decided to go and check out the place. The people who worked at the time we walked in were very welcoming and answered any questions we had. She got her tattoo done by Chris who btw was awesome. She gave him a few ideas of what she wanted and he slayed! Good vibes all around and made sure my sis was comfortable as she sat like a champ. Our experience was 10/10. Nice clean shop and I didn’t catch the guys name up front but he was very helpful and chill as well. Thank you Albuquerque Ink for making this experience a great one!

Went for a Friday the 13th flash tattoo. They had a lot of flash to choose from, and lots of seating for waiting. Given how packed they were, my friends and I were seen pretty quickly. Clean space, great artists, spacious booths. Artist I got (Bobby) sat me down quickly, set up, and got right to tattooing. Good conversation, great flash. Tattoo was done super quick, barely hurt, and looks amazing. Ill definitely be back.

The tattoo artist was really nice and the tattoo was affordable and quick. The process was very sanitary.

My sister and I were walk in’s for matching tattoos. Simon and Jesse were very kind and did a wonderful job! This was my sisters fist tattoo and they made her feel very comfortable. Simon did a great job with my line work and designing my floral Little Dipper. Will definitely be reaching out to him for more work!

It was NOT good. I guess the guy that pierced my nose didnt have much practice and especially with ethnic noses. I am a Nigerian girl with a thicker nose and the piercing took so long I felt like the needle was in my nose for so long. it took about a full minute just to get the needle through. It hurt so bad and he couldnt even get the jewelry through so I had to re pierce it in the same spot. Then they lied to us about their buy one get one free deal. They agreed in the beginning that my friend could get the other one free because I didnt want a 2nd piercing and in the end they end up charging us both. Do not go here. Theres definitely better places. This was my first piercing and the worst experience ever.

Super nice guys!!! Took time on my tattoo even though I came in 30 minutes after closing!! Patrick is a great artist I definitely am coming back!!! But also PJ was super patient with my man with his first tattoo (he didn’t get it) but he was still super patient and showed him designs &hyped him up!!!

I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a couple days but didnt have the foresight to make an appointment anywhere because I didnt think morning tattoos were popular. I attempted to go to another tattoo shop who allow walk ins but they were unable to get me in. On a last hope I look up shops that were open at 10am and that allowed walk-ins, Albuquerque Ink popped up and they had good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I walked in and showed Simon my design, he told me to go grab a coffee or some breakfast and come back in about an hour. I came back in an hour, he got my design drawn up, my paper work completed and was able to give me my tattoo. I drew my design so I let him know that I was okay with any changes he as an artist felt were necessary. He allowed my friends to come back with me, after putting the stencil on Simon did make a change that he felt was necessary due to the placement of the tattoo. He was a great tattoo artist with a light hand and clean lines. He even added white which made me love the tattoo even more. The shop was super clean and the ink holders were never reused which is super important when it comes to a clean tattoo. I loved this shop and would come again for my next tattoos. Simon was such a great artist, my friend even booked another appointment with him after my session. I highly recommend Albuquerque ink and Simon!

Bobbie is friendly and an amazing tattoo creator. He took his time on helping me chose my design and didn’t stop until I was satisfied. The tattoo itself was not painful I would say he has a light hand. I loved my tattoo and I’m 100% satisfied.

I always come here for my tattoos now because Bobby does a great job at script and thinner tattoos. Came in the other day to get a tattoo and asked if I could have help switching out my piercing as well, and they helped me the next day. Simon was so helpful and helped me completely for free. He is so respectful and I never feel weird about going to the shop by myself. He is particularly skilled at line work but my color tattoo from him too is really incredible as well.

Walked in the Albuquerque ink and the guys where so happy to take myself and my husband. Supper clean everyone was friendly they did warn us about our tattoo location but never once tried talked us out of it. I am supper happy with our tattoos and will be returning.

I hate to give such a low rating. Alex did a fantastic job. He knew exactly what I was wanting and nailed the design. Free hand!However, we wont be back to the shop because Nick was extremely rude and treated our daughter with unbelievable disrespect. Then charged $100 because she decided not to go forward after he laid the design out on her arm. It was way bigger than she asked for, but thats not why she backed out. It was because he was condescending and loud. She wasnt comfortable with his attitude.Weve spent about a grand there over the last year. Even got grandma a tattoo and were planning on spending a lot more.We had seven people there, a pocket full of cash and walked out. A hundred dollars less, no tattoos and looking for a new place.Which sucks for the other artists there, Jesse, Pat and Alex, all of which are really cool.

Great service. Great welcoming feeling.. Took the time to figure out what I wanted and really understood me. The sketch was free hand which made it that much more personal. I appreciate the cleanliness and space available for clients. The shop itself is unlike any other. My results are so great. Im definitely coming back. Thank you.
