Open till 11 according to Google Maps and sign on shop door. Dude refused to even give us a consult. Missed out on a quick tattoo and a great tip. Better tattoo parlors on Route 66 and in Albuquerque. Avoid this one.

THIS SHOP IS SO COOL. the decor and everyone working here is so nice. For a tattoo I highly recommend Baby! Ive gotten 2 tattoos from him in both SF and at Fine Line and he is always super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about what hes doing. He has a really cool style and is also very gentle. As you can see, the finished products are sick!!!

Go see Baby Atchison RIGHT NOW! I promise you wont regret any artwork done by this stupendous artist. All three of these tattoos were done by a Baby and they all took less than an hour each. Hes fat and friendly and SUPER talented. Ill be returning over and over again.

Amazing!! We shopped around a bit. We went in saying so not commit to anything, until we meet Stacy! He did a cover up, guarantee you would never know it was. Then he did a raiders tattoo, and people still are asking me if its a temp tattoo, because its so perfect , and full of color. He has a light hand, i kept trying to look because, I almost felt like he wasnt tattooing.

I have had one tattoo here, and it was a great experience; however, today, I called to schedule a touch up, and I received the most childishly obnoxious remark for simply forgetting who my tattooer was. Dude acted like an egregious meathead - Holy sh!t! Did you walk in here with a blind fold on?! - and then tried to gaslight me when I called back to show my lack of appreciation for it - what are you talking about.Dude, are you 8 years old? Grow up. Do your job like a big boy.Sadly, I wont be returning. Shout out to Kylee, though, keep doing what youre doing!

Walked in to see about a tat and came out with an appointment. The staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. John Howard did a fabulous job and for a 3 hour tat it sure didnt seem that long. He is so kind and engaging.I love that tat and we will definitely go back.

Ive gotten two tattoos here from two different artists, and I 100% recommend this place!! The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and the artists are great at communicating exactly what you want and working with you. My experiences were great with both of them and my artwork is absolutely perfect!

BUYER BEWARE!! Me and my wife thought It would be a FUN to get some more ink, when we called Route 66 they quoted us 100-150 an hour (The standard rate). Little did we know it was a case of the famous bait and switch. After we completed both tattoos that only took 40 minutes each, they turned around and told us the cost was now 400. When we disputed with the so called manager he had a it is what it is attitude so we paid and left.This is very poor service & at best below average work. (Zoom in on the line work). After spending thousands of dollars over the years with Fine Line I will never go back. Its a shame that the legacy of the legendary Brian Everett will be tarnished by his money hungry scamming staff.

Amazing work every single time. I have 3 different pieces done here, all done by Kylee, who does phenomenal work!!! I will continue to go back for more work here. The shop is clean, atmosphere is very laid back, artists are extremely talented, and you get quotes before getting any work done (and they stick to their quotes so there’s 0 surprises). If you’re looking for a tattoo shop in the Albuquerque area, look no further.

I went in for a walk-in, but the tattoo was going to be too big and long for just a walk-in. So I scheduled an appointment for the next day and I got baby. He did such an amazing job and he was super professional! I kind of just sent him reference pictures and told him he could do whatever he would want. I loved the outcome of it! So if anyone is looking for a great tattoo artist I recommend baby!

I highly recommend this place if you are planning to be in Albuquerque anytime soon! Baby did such an awesome job on the simple tattoo my boyfriend and I wanted! They are so nice and were so accommodating especially because I was a walk-in just passing through Albuquerque for the night! Baby for the win! I live out of state and recently made two separate trips to ABQ to get custom tattoos by him (not just for his artistic acuity, but his kindness and professionalism). Both times, I gave him rough concepts and he totally exceeded my expectations with his visions, perfect lines, and color. Highly recommend Baby as well as the shop— clean and always pleasant, without the heavy undertones of traditional tattoo culture.

Ive had a few pieces done here by 2 different artists and they both have done a great job. Im so happy I randomly ended up here after a day of Googling tattoo shops in town to see who would take us as walk ins.

Because of all the reviews done by actual people that understand and appreciate that this is really an actual art form I HAD to book HERE for my 17 year old for his 1st tattoo. Anyone that expects anything from an artist for $100 or less doesn’t appreciate the artist, their time, or their art. I would have given that yokel I saw give this place a bad review a harder time than they had, I would have chosen not to book the unappreciative dolt myself.

I first went to Fine Line in the late 80s/early 90s ish. I was a regular with Brian & Cap for several years & I know Brian Everette runs a tight ship. He is not going to allow a bad artist to work there. I got mine in areas where they dont get much sun so that helps but all of mine still look great, especially considering many are going on 30 years old but I am looking to get some colors refreshed & possibly some extensive new work.I was happy with them 30 years ago, like I said, Brian ran a tight ship. Now, my friends children are getting tattoos & they havent met Brian but they got some great work at Fine Line & it sounds like Brian is still a perfectionist & makes sure anyone working there lives up to his standards.I will definitely go there to get some colors refreshed on my older tats & will start with them in my search for the right artist for some extensive new work.I will leave an additional review if I am unhappy with any aspect of my new relationship with Fine Line.

Got this sexy hammock lady done by Baby. Incredible artist with the best energy. I felt comfortable and safe the whole time and walked out looking the coolest I ever have. The shop is also by far the sickest one I’ve ever stepped foot in. Can’t recommend this shop or this artist enough. Thank you Baby!

Havent gone here yet, but my friends tattoo came out amazing and healed super well! The lines were super clean and shading is flawless so I would definitely recommend

This place is awesome I would highly recommend going here. Originally I wasn’t going to get a tattoo, I was just going with my friend who had an appointment. But everyone was so friendly and inviting there so I was comfortable enough to get my first tattoo! John was so nice and his art was exactly what I had in mind it was perfect.

Jesso is a really talented and friendly artist. Hes done 3 of my tattoos and I wont go to anyone else, hes light handed, and pays attention to what you want and have in mind. He did a memorial tattoo for me, it was like he took the image right out of my head! it couldnt have come out any better. If youre looking for a tattoo artist that pays attention to detail hes your man.

Got my tattoo here about 6 months ago. Nice people, but the work is not as good as I was hoping for. My tattoo needs to much touch ups and WAY smaller than I wanted. The coloring in of my tattoo is very splotchy looking not smooth color isnt even their on some spots. They can do REALLY good line work but coloring is not their strong side at all.

Im 41 years into this life, and Ive had my only 2 tattoos done here. One when I was 18, the other 7 years later, both experiences were beyond my expectations, in cleanliness and professionalism. Im of the opinion that when your trying to save money, do it when your shopping at the gas station, grocery or hardware store, not your *bleepin* tatoo shop. My 16 year old just got her 1st this last weekend with Kylee, and I will admit to being nervous before they were able to reinforce WHY I took her there in the 1st place. Real recognizes real, dont take my word for it, stop in the shop and see for yourself, take a mask to avoid wasting your time, and a little cash for a deposit required to schedule a session,$:= : trust me your gonna make one. Keep up the great work at fine line.....ROCK ON!!

My tattoo was done by @babyaintgotno on Instagram. He posted that he as doing some flash so I looked through his book and picked out a banger. I mean tattoos hurt so the process wasn’t enjoyable, but it’s not meant to be enjoyable it’s meant to put ink into your skin. Ultimately he was a super fun dude, we had a good conversation, he worked efficient yet was technically sound, and gave me a super rad tat!Go to his insta and look at his flash! Wanted to get a memorial tattoo today (Friday the 13th) because it would have been my daughter’s 28th birthday. Took me as a walk in. Did fantastic work. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep. I will definitely be back!

JESSO IS THE MAN IN THIS CITY!!!!!! I am a self - proclaimed tattoo snob. I have been tattooed by many artist in about half the US since I move so often. Some have become my close friends. I see JESSO will follow this pattern. I cant say enough about how EXCELLENT the experience was. It was almost euphoric. He has SUCH a GENTLE soft touch. He was doing a cover-up on my chest and had completed the entire outline of the rose - and it felt like he hadnt even started yet. No pain at all! Even during the coloring. He LOVES what he does. He is passionate about his craft and provides an unforgettable customer experience. He let my daughter come to the back with me and even bought her some refreshments! We were laughing and talking, story telling and joking - next thing you know 2 hours later I was DONE! This is BY FAR the BEST TATTOO I have ever had - and I am covered in ink from head to toe. He makes you feel so comfortable and genuinely wants to help people. He will go out of his way to accommodate your request, and schedule. His prices are MORE THAN FAIR for the quality of work you will have your entire life. He creates a MASTERPIECE on your body. I will absolutely be BACK ASAP! Called to get a tattoo within same day, which the person who awnsered the phone said it shouldnt be a problem as the tattoo was only 2 by 2 inches square....get there and she said I had to book an appt for 2 months out and I had to put down a 40 dollar non refundable deposit per person, me and my girlfriend...one star
