Again David never seizes to amazing me with his amazing artwork!!! Thank you so much for taking the time and putting in the effort for my sons first tattoo, you did amazing work!!!!

Had the pleasure of working with look! He was amazing, listened to everything I wanted, and provided the best tattoo experience I’ve had to date and the best artwork as well! Definitely will be a customer for life and would highly recommend to anyone wanting work done!

David Carter is amazing, he has done multiple tattoos for me. Also if you have any piercing needs madalyn is also amazing, went in Friday for a piercing and she was extremely professional and put me at ease. She is also very sanitary I watched her open everything and she talked me through the process. Go see her

The first time I came here, I was getting my first tattoo done by Ellen. Nothing big, just three star outline tattoos. She messed up horribly with just the line work. She was not consistent with the thickness of the lines, and to top it off, she made them incredibly crooked and uneven. I paid $150 for three outlines of stars… When I got home was when I really noticed the unevenness. As I called them, they tried to argue on the phone with me that it was the way I was sitting or the saniderm. I immediately went to a different tattoo shop and they told me it looked like an apprentice tattooed that on me (which is funny because she is not an apprentice at the shop). I ended up being able to schedule a touch up with the tattoo artist Look, and he was able to fix a lot of her mistakes. I was overall very satisfied with his work. My second time coming here, I had a problem. An hour before my appointment something happened with the belt of my car, and I was able to fix it the same day, but as I called the shop to see if they can push me back a bit today or reschedule me another day because of the emergency, they said no and told me it would be an additional 75 dollar fee. I already paid the deposit for my tattoo like a week ago, so it felt very unfair that they could not work with me on this. I would have been a max of about 10 minutes late. They also don’t include policies like this on their website, or tell you on the phone before you book the appointment, so I had no idea of knowing this.

Richie was an AMAZING artist! He took our group of 4 as walk ins and perfected our designs! So thankful for Against All Odds and for Richie for doing such a great job on our tattoos! He is also hilarious and made the whole experience so enjoyable. And the guy working the desk was super kind and made the whole process for signing in and paying super simple! Definitely highly recommend this shop for all your tattoo needs!

Went for a Friday the 13th tattoo on our way to callaway gardens. Happened to stop in Auburn for dinner and found this tattoo shop. Went inside around 8:45 pm, picked the design, and waited roughly 1 hour. Mind you, they close at 10 pm. Look was my artist. He was a phenomenal person and was very particular about making his client (me) happy with my placement of the tattoo and had the courtesy to ask if I wanted to have it shaded as well. He did not mind staying a few minutes past close to finish up. He did not rush through and it shows with the quality of my tattoo I recieved. I have been to shops in Ohio, Tennessee, multiple in Alabama and even tattoo conventions, and have never had an experience like this. I will gladly drive the 2 hours to have a tattoo done by look again

This place is great for tattoos, but awful for piercings. I called in to get my septum done, specified what I wanted, and asked when they closed. They said 8pm, so I left where I was to drive across-state to make it before they closed. I arrived at around 7:20pm and went in just to be turned away by a girl that said Oh, our piercer stops doing piercings at 7. I was frustrated by this because I wasted money and left what I was doing early to come out there. They shouldve disclosed that information when I called. I went back the next day and the girl who turned me away the day before was their piercer, Mads. So she basically pretended to not be the piercer? I dont know what that was about, but whatever. Anyways I went in, sat down, she felt around in my nose and proceeded to tell me I didnt have the anatomy for a septum. She said I didnt have a sweet spot (the skin between your tissue and cartilage) and said I couldnt have it done. I was annoyed by this because Ive had piercings done in the past and I knew exactly how a septum worked, so I knew 100% that I did have the anatomy for it because I could literally feel the sweet spot myself, but I left instead of arguing with the woman. I called Sugar Skulls (a place 3 minutes away who did my lip piercings in the past) and they took me in. Their piercer Nikki felt around in my nose and told me I did in fact have the proper anatomy and told me I had plenty of skin there to pierce then proceeded to pierce my septum just fine with 0 issues at all. My overall opinion on this experience is that if youre a piercer whos simply scared or not confident doing a piercing, dont tell someone they have the wrong anatomy for it just because you arent comfortable doing it. Tell them the truth and have them seek out a piercer who is comfortable with it instead of lying to them. If I was anyone else I mightve walked out of there thinking I could never get my septum pierced all because of a piercer who couldnt simply say Sorry, Im not comfortable doing this piercing on you.

We came in after seeing Taylor Swift in Atlanta and wanted to get tattoos as a forever memory. Richie was our artist and he did absolutely great! He was kind, talked about the concert with us and made us feel right at home. Thank you Richie!

Madalyn is amazing! I would recommend her for children or adults. Her room atmosphere is inviting for children. She loves Spiderman, and I will bring my little girls into her for their piercings once they are about 8 to 10 when they ask for it. If youre a parent, you might want to stay out of the waiting room/lobby if your young ones are sensitive to images.I had my second lobe piercing done at another place(Claires) and they messed up pretty bad on the angle of the piercing. I took it out after a day and a half, and having them try to pierce it again. It was awful! After letting it heal for a week I came to Madelyn and she did a great job! Great alignment service and honestly I have way less swelling with this piercing than with any other piercing I have had, only 3 others... Anyway, highly recommend!

Against All Odds has been the best tattoo shop that I’ve been to by far! The front desk worker was very nice and helpful! Hero did my tattoo and was super helpful in helping me decide the perfect placement to not only look great now, but also look great long-term. Hero is a true artist!! I’ll definitely be back!

Was expecting to get tatted by looks when i showed up they had david carter do it instead. i tried to keep a open mind but the color was completely different than was i asked for and left unfilled.the tattoo looked very off from the stencil artist charged 100 for less than a hour of work. called back to get the unfinished shading filled in yellow which was the original color i wanted then told i would be charged 50 more dollars while be laughed at by the “manager”

Richie did a tremendous job. Professional and friendly. Very helpful with aftercare. Got my first (and probably only) tattoo after much thought and consideration. A Russian Orthodox Cross. Richie was really great. Highly recommend!!! Also a good guy to talk to about reggae. Best to you, Richie!

All of the Artists are very talented, they are always welcoming and polite. I’ve never been more comfortable and sound minded while being poked with needles than when getting my tattoos here. If cleanliness, skill, fair pricing, and a welcoming environment are important to you, this is the shop to go to. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories about going to tattoo shops, and I can confirm that this shop went above and beyond my expectations!

Antonio did an amazing job!! He added the third tree frog to my husbands back. The realism is spot on! The lines are clean and the colors are vibrant. Really cool dude, too. The whole studio was clean, sanitary, friendly - overall awesome experience. Already have plans for the next one - we will be back!

Got my first tattoos here with Antonio and had the best experience. Great work, minimal pain, super professional, and I was totally comfortable the entire time. Got a custom piece, asked him to add color, got him to move a stencil, and got him to resize one and had no issues with anything. Will definitely be back soon!!

Jacy is a great piercer! She’s very nice and really cares about her clients, as she gives great aftercare advice and makes sure you know to just make an appointment if you ever have any questions/concerns.The shop is very clean and comfortable, they use an autoclave to clean the equipment and jewelry. I’m also very impressed with how they are handling business during the pandemic.

Against all odds was the first shop I ever got tattooed at. David was awesome and helpful! I’ve also had AMAZING experiences being tattooed by both Darby and Antonio since...very professional, clean, experienced shop. I recently got my flat/helix pierced by the piercing apprentice, Mallory, and cannot rave enough about my experience! 5/5 recommend, wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area.

Made an appointment for 1PM with Darby. I am satisfied with the work, 4/5 stars there. But lets talk about professionalism, punctuality, and price. I could smell weed when I was waiting, he also smelled like weed when he was tattooing me. So 2/5 for professionalism. I waited an hour and 15 minutes in the waiting room, including 30 after his client left. 1/5 for punctuality. And finally, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? $100 for a sentence of script around my wrist? Ive paid less for a MUCH larger tattoo that took 3 times as long to do. 1/5 for price. I will not be seeing Darby again. Book with another artist.

I got my first tattoo here and I have to say It was a great experience. The staff was outstandingly friendly and they knew what they were doing. Ryan did mine and my experience was great. Easy to talk to, great artist, and he educated me on everything I needed to know for healing my tattoo and keeping it looking great. I plan on going back soon.

I got my nose pierced here and it was a great experience! Every one was professional and nice, and Darby talked me through everything. I highly recommend him, and the others at Against All Odds, for any tattoos and piercings you may want!

On a whim, I decided I needed to get my cartilage pierced. I went to see Caroline at Against All Odds and she is absolutely fantastic! She got me in without an appointment and went over all the steps of the piercing process within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. Only a few minutes later my ear was painlessly pierced and she was explaining the after care. Definitely would go back for my tattoo and piercing needs and recommend Against All Odds!

Always a great experience. Ive spent the last 6 months with Ryan Gage Gonzalez working on my back piece. Everyone there is so passionate about their art and its just a great environment all around. Im biased because Gage has now completed the largest tattoo on my body, but all of the artists here are phenomenal. I doubt Ill ever go anywhere else even after my time in Auburn is over.

I had piercings which were really messed up by my original piercer at a different shop and I came here for a second opinion. I simply cannot recommend Caroline enough. Not only was she professional and friendly, she made me feel 100% comfortable and was able to switch out my inappropriate jewelry for high quality Anatometal bars. She gave me excellent advice and Im so happy I went to her, rather than trying to work with the botched original piercings. Shes a gem!

Gage did my tattoo and hes so very talented! Ive lost 2 dogs all in a year and he did my first pitbull and I was blown away on how real like it was! His studio is super relaxing and cool. Cant wait to have my other tattoo done.

Caroline pierced my nose & she was amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and told me exactly what she was gonna do. She didn’t surprise me with anything. The piercing turned out great. I’d recommend people to come here if they want a piercing!

My dad and I came in to get a matching set of tattoos and thankfully got paired up with Thomas! He is a really down to earth guy and exceptional artist. Definitely more lighthanded than previous artists and I appreciated it a ton! Who knew tattoos didnt have to hurt??? Regardless, clean friendly environment to go to with a professional staff. We came in and got options for appointments the same or next day. I will most definitely be going back to see Thomas for my future tattoos and have already been sending people in his direction. Ran in for a nose ring. Fast quick service. Professional. I called ahead of time. I paid $45 for my nose ring. I definitely enjoy the service. They even offered to help put my nose ring in through the phone if I had issues for when I got home.at the time I bought a nose ring there wasnt many many options but there was more than enough options.Thank you for your business

This was my daughters first tattoo and was in remembrance of her grandmother that just passed away. Ryan was great! He listened to what she wanted and kept tweaking the drawing until it was perfect. Nice facility and very friendly receptionists and apprentice, but not the piercer. I came here for my first ever body piercing so of course I was nervous. I ask the piercer one question and he immediately becomes defensive and extremely rude, and he just pops off. Maybe he was just in a bad mood or prefers to work with experienced clientele, but of course I’m not going to let someone who feels I’ve offended them place a hole in my body; so after an hour of waiting to even get on the table and 2 minutes of actually being on the table, I decided it would be safer if I didn’t let that particular individual pierce me. Instead, I visited the shop that was my first choice when I decided I wanted the piercing that very same night and was out in 25 minutes.

I came to get a traditional tattoo to add to my sleeve , and Josh definitely delivered!Ive had multiple tattoo done by artists in The ATL, and this shop is on the same level, bringing you that experience to the Auburn area. The inside looks like how you would expect out of a traditional tattoo shop, and everything is clean and organized.I hate talking about prices, because you shouldnt be looking for a deal on a permanent piece of art, but their prices are more than reasonable. Even when you TIP them. Very professional people, and will definitely go to again.

My favorite tattoo shop. Reasonably priced. Great service. Ive gotten like three done here. And Ive recommended three people to come here (all of whom have been back frequently as well) They also offer student discounts which is nice.

Went to have a small tat. First time, the girl was 30 min. late. Second time, she never showed up. Third time, she was 40 min. late. Went back to get it touched up...the girl who did it was no longer there (not surprised) so a different dude was doing it. Appt was at 1:00 and he was not even in the building at 1:30, so we left. Ill pay someone else to touch it up before I go back there. Just because youre a tattoo artist doesnt mean you have to live the cliche lifestyle and never be on time or professional!

Jacy was an amazing piercer! She’s very friendly and makes you feel right at home. All the other staff I met were very kind and welcoming, and the whole environment is great. Definitely coming back to Jacy next time!

I took my friend there to get her tongue pierced for her birthday. They were very professional and organized and had friendly staff. They are also very child friendly too. The prices are reasonable as well. It will be my go to place for piercings and tattoos.

Caroline is super awesome and patient. She has been to my rescue twice replacing my monroe piercing and always did it painlessly and quickly. The quality in the jewelry makes all the difference and I guarantee the next time I mess up my piercing Ill be back again! Caroline is a a piercing goddess

Caroline messed up my piercing terribly. It was completely out of line with all the other piercings and I went in and asked for any sort of refund or for her to fix it eventually ( I realized I am going to have to wait 2 months now for this hole to heal to get it repressed) but she got defensive and was very unprofessional and refused to help in any sort of way. Definitely wont be going back here and will never refer my friends to get piercings here. I went to another tattoo place to get it fixed and they agreed to never go here for piercings. It sucks, but seriously bite the bullet and drive to Atlanta. You will get way better quality and they will listen to you where you want the piercing. 0 talent here and 0 professionalism.

Got a Daith ear piercing for migraines about 3 months ago from Caroline. She was great! Its been amazing. I was having a migraine everyday prior to going. For almost a month I had NONE. Now I occasionally get one, but I no longer have the intense nausea I had before and the pain is so much less. Now I may start with a little pain on right side of my head and I take a migraine pill and its gone. Ive had migraine since I was 9, Daith piercing has been a miracle, for me. My daughter got one at same time and hers have been greatly reduced, although moved to the other side of her head, which sometimes happens; shes going back for a piercing in other ear.

Ryan is the artist I use but I highly recommend any of there artist, by far the best and most professional shop around. Not even close. I’ll never use another tattoo shop from here on out!! Ryan is truly amazing at what he does!! Check them out

Very disappointed with this place I was told this was the best tattoo place near auburn but I scheduled an appointment for nearly a Month ago and it got canceled cause the artist was sick which I get Can’t do anything about that they tried to reschedule me for a week later and now I’ve been told that the appointment is too late and he needs to reschedule me for the 2nd time so I just canceled and asked for my deposit back lady on the phone was very polite and helpful says that they can get my deposit back to me but I’ll have to wait due to her higher up being on vacation for their birthday so hopefully they do me right and get that back to me asap because this is very frustrating

Loved this place went and got a full back cover-up done and my right arm sleeve in JTHM comic not disappointed at all still love it. The artist read all of the comic before she did my sleeve and after the back I let her fully design it.
