Had my first tattoo session with Josh, I’ve been waiting 15 years to pull the trigger on what to place on my body and finding the right connection with an artist who was more than an artist, someone who could connect to the client on more than just that profession. Josh was very prompt with producing my idea and working with me to perfect it, you could carry on a conversation about ANYTHING without feeling like you were bothering him, he took his time to make my tattoo look extremely smooth and show every detail in the original piece. You CANT sit in a better shop in the CSRA and be able to check off every box you have for expectations than here. It won’t happen! Pricing was phenomenal to the point that we’ve been able to book 4 different sessions in this shop within 2 months period between the wife and I. Josh will definitely be my guy!

Joshua is amazing. I contacted him and told him about what I wanted and he helped me design it. I was even able to get in the same day. Very reasonably priced. Took 4.5 hours to do. I would definitely recommend going to see him.

Me and my best friend set an appointment for today to get matching friendship tattoos. Joshua was the one doing them for us and he was super professional, friendly, clean and prepared. He had us in and out in no time. Id definitely recommend him. He even helped me with a little touch up on my existing tattoos which meant so much to me!

Their new tattooist Julie has done 3 of my tattoos so far and all 3 have turned out incredible with no touch ups needed, although she was more than willing to do it if needed. She is very knowledgeable about after care and even had me send her pictures as they were healing to make sure they were still good. This is definitely where I’m going to go to get my leg covered up when I’m back in town.

Julie is an AMAZING artist, Julie is very patient and gentle, she will take the time to make sure the piece you get is exactly what you want, not a watered down version of it. Yes Julie has given me a tattoo and it is absolutely beautiful. One of the coolest things about her is, if you want something she dont believe she cant absolutely perfect, she will tell you nope not yet.

I very much enjoy every chance I get to come and sit with Josh! He is always respectful and just makes it comfortable to have conversation with! His skills are amazing and he does incredible work! I can’t wait to visit again!

Josh did the Dr. feel good album cover on my right forearm, he did it in about 2 hours and did an amazing job. Price was good and he was very friendly and it was just an awesome experience and atmosphere. If your a first timer or a 50th time this place is absolutely up to par.

Julie gave me my first tattoo. She was gentle and kind. I gladly went back later to get color added. Working up the courage to get another. I will definitely go to Julie.

Wally did a half sleeve for me at Excalibur. Not only was he incredibly professional through each session but he was also super involved and gave input and direction for designs i had to make the whole tattoo flow and look amazing . The whole staff is also very professional and take great care in making sure each tattoo, piercing, and design are right as well as ensuring that the shop itself is clean and sanitary. 10/10 recommend if you’re getting your first or your 100th! I went there to start my leg sleeve of traditional tattoos. Bradley Brown is by far the best traditional artist I have ever seen. Super chill and laid back guy that just seems to love to tattoo. The 2 pieces on my leg so far have just turned out amazing! Very experienced in the tattoo industry, he is by far a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend going to see him for any tattoo needs you have!

I finally got my tattoo I’ve been waiting on for7+ years, it’s my youngests name below a tree frog, Bradley Brown was absolutely ecstatic to do my piece. My hubby sent him ideas and he drew up a piece that I loved! The results are amazing and i can’t wait for it to fully heal cause it’s already a gorgeous piece (my hubby calls him my handsome frog)! Anyways, everyone there was nice, friendly and clean! I would def go back for any touch ups or any other tattoo needs.

I recommend Julie for any tattoo work. Shes extremely patient and is very diligent in making sure its up to customer standards.

Got the first holes on my earlobes pierced by Joshua. First of all, I want to say that he was very kind and laidback and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. However, my piercings did not come out well at all. He did mark them and line them up while I was reclined in the chair, Im not sure if it was the adrenaline/nerves(as this was my first piercing) or the angle I was positioned, but I did not realize just how uneven they were until I left the shop and someone pointed them out to me. I looked in the visor mirror of the car and realized that:a) My left ear was positioned nearer to the spot where a second hole piercing would be than a first hole piercing,b) I had left the shop with a decent amount of blood on my ears still andc) The jewelry was a lot bigger than I thought it should be.When I went home to clean them as instructed on the aftercare sheet, I realized something was very wrong with the kind of jewelry I was pierced with as the bars were pretty long and bent at an angle instead of straight.The next day I went to another shop (which I will not name out of respect) and their piercer explained that I was pierced with a 14gauge needle and had eyebrow piercing jewelry in my earlobes. Typically ear piercing jewelry is 20gauge so the bars I had in were way too big.On top of that, they explained that my left ear was pierced at an angle instead of straight through. This combined with the type of jewelry meant that even if I took care of them they would have a hard time healing, and if/when they did, I would have a difficult time putting new jewelry in. 20gauge titanium jewelry was placed in my right ear and the old bar was taken out of my left so I could get it redone after the bruising/swelling went down.Im very disappointed in my experience. I was unconcerned because I read reviews and I was ignorant as to how one could botch an earlobe piercing. I dont mean to be hateful, Im just sharing my experience so others dont end up in a similar situation.

Great experience!My sister and I came in town for the weekend and decided we wanted last minute piercings without booking an appointment. They were obviously pretty busy, but the guy at the front desk was nice and inviting with trying to get us squeezed in. Josh did our piercings and was nice as well! He fit us in between doing another piercing and an appointment he had. This is my second time getting my belly button pierced and Josh did a great job with not causing pain. I went somewhere else before going to this shop, but definitely glad I chose to go here! And to add, all the gentlemen were handsome and there was a pretty lady with pink hair ;) (inside joke)!! Overall, I’d definitely recommend!!

Customer service is 10/10. I got my nose pierced right after Christmas last year. My nose ring was feeing too loose and not fitting right. Joshua provided relaxing and excellent services while he swapped out my jewelry. I’ve been in this shop three times and have always been greeted respectfully. The guys are hilarious 😆 Never left without a smile.

So this was my first tattoo. My artist… Wally… all I can say is… HE IS THE BEST! Wally is a true master of his craft! He is extremely professional! Great person to talk to before and during my tattoo process. He answered all my first time tattoo questions. Really informative, showed me tips and tricks for my post tattoo care to help incorporate it into my daily routine. 10 out of 10 would def go back to this shop. Great group of people that work there.

First off, the staff are very welcoming and very professional. The specific artist I had the pleasure of working with was Wally. Wally spent a lot of time and effort working on/planning an arm sleeve and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He was very flexible with appointments and his work is phenomenal. Very clean and professional environment, if I’m ever in need of more work done, I know exactly where to go. My time in the shop was an amazing experience and Wally is very professional and an amazing artist.

This was my first tattoo done at Excalibur Tattoo here in Augusta, so I walked in not knowing what to expect from the shop. The atmosphere in the shop itself was exactly what I was hoping for, the music was great which set up the vibe of the shop and you could plainly see everyone was super pumped about doing what they love. Bradley talked me through placement and color choices based on my skin tone before we even laid the stencil, and you could tell he wanted to produce the best quality tattoo possible, not just wanting to get it done and get me out of his chair. He was super attentive and talked with me the entire time, it made the experience of getting tattooed a lot easier to deal with. The finished product still managed to FAR exceed what Id envisioned with my piece. I would be quick to recommend Bradley to anyone looking for amazing work, but especially thick, bold lined traditional pieces. I will definitely be returning.

Truly awesome place for customer service. I walked in and was immediately greeted and started talking about my tattoo idea. As I started talking, French came over and quickly related to my ideas and also had specific thoughts/knowledge of one of my upcoming pieces, and proceeded to show me some of his work. Bradley took me as a walk-in (something he normally doesn’t do) and far exceeded my expectations. I walked in with elements of what I wanted on different pictures and he was able to combine them perfectly into a piece of art that I absolutely adore. He was quick and efficient and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. He also included some patches that work as a second skin and I have felt NO PAIN. If I need another tattoo, I will definitely be back.

Went recently to get a couples tattoo with my wife for our 6 months of being married. This isnt my first tattoo with Excalibur but when my wife asked me if I wanted to get a tattoo the night we were going out, I said I know just the place. We got there and I sat down with Bradley Brown to get my tattoo done. One of the things that I love coming to this tattoo shop above anywhere else is the calm and relaxing atmosphere that not only the staff give you but the parlor details you notice walking in as well. Everything is clean and neat and well organized, all the artists are professional and care about the work they are here to do for you, and very reasonable for pricing. Bradley was very down to earth and went above and beyond with my expectations with what I wanted done and very humble and down to earth and very good at what he does. Makes all the difference in the world when you have a artist that is passionate about their work and what they are doing and I assure you, everyone of them kinds of artists are here. Once Biden lays off stealing my money a good bit ill be back in here getting another one done with my wife! 💪🏼👏🙏Best regards. They charged a ridiculous amount ($100.00 EACH) for a finger tattoo but they did a good job. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with everything but the price.

Had a great experience. We were walk ins, and they worked us in. It was my daughters first tattoo. Everyone made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. My daughters tattoo was something custom and they were able to give her exactly what she wanted. The shop was clean. I would definitelyuse them again for future tattoo work. Excalibur tattoo is very clean and very professional, and everyone there is super friendly. I went in today as a walk-in to get a cover-up tattoo. I worked with Joshua Clark, whos really great. I showed Josh a couple of pictures of flowers I like, and he created my very own unique tattoo to cover up my mistake. I was so nervous, But Josh was great, He talked to me through the whole tattoo and that helped settle me down and made me feel more comfortable. Now we only did the outline And It already looks spectacular. I couldnt be happier with it. I was only visiting the area and came home today, and Ill be more than happy to drive the 4 hours and 18 minutes for Josh to finish up my tattoo. Im that impressed. When its finished, I will update my review, and Im positive I will only have wonderful things to say then too,It already looks so beautiful. I cant imagine what its going to look like when Josh finishes. I cant wait.

Reached out to Josh, and got an appointment the very next day. Everyone there was very friendly, and the shop is clean. Josh did my tattoo in about an hour, and I’m happy with the end result. I will for sure go back to get more work done. Price was affordable too!

The shop was offering a special on pre selected tattoos and I went in to get the one I picked out. Bradley was the artist who worked on me, and the guy decided to put in the extra mile on the whole job. He customized the tattoo to fit with the same style as my other tattoos while putting his spin on it and it came it even better than what I expected. I highly recommend this shop and Bradley.

This is only my second tattoo ever but by far the best experience Ive ever had even when I first walked in it was very clean and very relaxed I felt more like and old friends house than a customer walking into a store they helped both me and my girlfriend figure out the best tattoo for us I brought in my own work and they made it look 100% better I was blown away by the end result and they didnt rush even tho mine was just like working my artist took carful time I highly recommend getting a tattoo here Im going back for a touch-up on my old tattoo soon and I know this place is going to make it pop like it used to

They are welcoming and funny. I received my flower tattoo by Josh in July 2020. He was awesome! My best friend also received her naked body sunflower tattoo . We both got them on our upper arms. As soon as I walked into the shop, Vince was so sweet and SO welcoming along with the girl at the front desk. They were so sweet and made me feel so much more comfortable about getting my piercings done. He explained how everything was gonna go and kept reassuring me that I would be okay. Great environment, dope staff! Lemme say, if you get my man Bradley, you are in the best possible hands. Man will not let you down, and my favorite thing is he doesn’t copy art or any inspiration from the internet. He will see the piece you want, and add his own unique, raw touch to it to where the tattoo your getting is unique and the only one in the world, rather than a copied tattoo from google images lol. AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE but GREAT reputation and business.

Josh is an amazing artist as well as his whole staff. Hes done multiple tattoos for me and a lot of my friends. Everyone in the shop makes you feel welcomed and at home. I got my third tattoo from this place and I always enjoy the atmosphere. The artists are always accommodating to my desires, or they are able to give me feedback on why I should get something done differently. The artists put forth the same amount of time regardless to whether a person is getting a $400 tattoo or a $100 tattoo. I have also had my nose pierced here too and that was a great experience as well. I highly suggest anyone that wants a high quality tattoo in a welcoming environment to come to Excalibur Tattoo. Best tattoo shop I have EVER been too. Very clean and beautiful shop, its also a very laid back vibe and the amazing guys there dont make you feel nervous or awful. I came in to get tattooed today by Josh, and I am so happy I chose Excalibur. he was very professional, his hand was light, his lines are straight, and prices are very good for the quality of work I received. The shop was absolutely clean, he opened everything in front of me, poured all of his ink in front of me, top notch care given to hygiene. I came in with an existing idea, and he stayed true to it, and only added to not took away from. 10/10 would get tattooed again by Josh.

When to have a tattoo done on my hand for my daughter by Josh. As soon as I walked in I was greeted very kindly by the workers. Very clean and great atmosphere to be in. Had my daughters name and another piece to go along with it, he sized it down to be prefect and fit my hand very well. 10/10 will definitely be returning back to get work done soon.

Just got my navel pierced this last week. As usual, a great experience! Very clean facility, best prices around, and most important, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Overall loved my experience coming here and getting my piercings done! The workers were very nice and had me and my sister laughing the entire time. I got my nose and back dermal pierced and I was very much satisfied with the work that was done. Compared to other places I’ve gotten my piercings from, I really wished I would’ve just gotten them all done here. I hope everyone else’s experience will be as great as mine!

Vince did an amazing job with my tattoo design. He truly brought my dream to life and drew a half sleeve with the elements I wanted. Went in to get a piercing looked at as it had been embedded in my ear (a different establishment botched it) they were very kind and helped immediately. If it wasn’t for them I would be in urgent care with a nasty infection and a messed up piercing. These guys got my old piercing out but put a new bar in. Super friendly and excellent service, will definitely be back for an actual piercing or tat.

Got my septum piercing here and have had zero complaints or complications! I have wanted to get it pierced for so long and I called all over the city and this was the ONLY place that did not charge an arm and leg!I got expert service and was extremely comfortable throughout the process.Healing time has been amazing!After 4 weeks I was able to change my piercing effectively without pain! Amazing overall experience.

Best place to get a tattoo hands down. Josh is an extremely talented artist. He just fixed a tattoo on my foot that was messed up by three other professionals in the industry and that had multiple cover-up work done to it. I’m amazed by how it looks. My fiancé has a few pieces done by Josh and he constantly gets stopped in public by men asking him where the artwork was done. Highly recommend coming here for any tattoo work. Me and my husband where new to the area and were not sure of the best tattoo shops in the area. So i googled the area to see who had the best reviews. Excalibur Tattoos was the first one that came up. So i went through all the shops and read their reviews. We choose excalibur tattoos and went to visit them and see what they where about. The shop was very clean. We were able to look at the artists portfolio and see what tattoo artists that we wanted. So we went with Chris. He was great!!! He did a great job on my husbands chest tattoo and he did a awesome job on my half sleeve!! We are glad we made the right choice and we will be going back. We are planning our next visit already!!!!

Josh and the crew manage tattoo four of us in a matter of 4 to 5 hours. For the two pieces that Josh did, they were perfect and exactly how my friend and I wanted them to be. Josh did such an amazing job that I tried to come in the next day to get more work done. Serena, was able to capture the perfect script and image that 3 of my friends wanted. (1 done the day after the 4 of us). Josh you will be seeing more of us while we are here in Georgia and if not. I will be coming back to you for more work. As my friends and i gather to return to school. We are talking everyone and anyone who wants work where Georgias best shop is.

I personally think they did a great job I just got my first tattoo and I gave them some pictures with an idea that I head and they turned it into reality.... side not I don’t suggest a sternum tattoo being your first tattoo unless you’re up to it but it was the best decision I ever made. Yesterday Bardley was awesome with daughter who was supper nervous about getting her first tattoo. He totally talked her through everything and put her mind at ease. Everyone there talked to her and helped distract her from her pain. Bradley made her first time a wonderful experience and her tattoo is beautiful.

I got my nose pierced around a month or so ago. The places Ive went before to get piercings let me walk out right after my piercings! Josh made sure that the bleeding had slowed down a little before I left. Just like with getting my first tattoo there, I felt comfortable and very welcomed. I will definitely be going back for more tattoos and piercings.

Update to reply:I will be happy to stop in and see if it was nearly $200 per little tattoo or if the person who took the money took a $200...but please explain what good this would be exactly? Karma would be from taking advantage of someone who might have misunderstood if that was the case.Tattoos look good. They are just names though, nothing special.My daughter and her husband paid $400 for names about 3 long!!!! Like WOW!Now if they meant $200 total and not each and took a $200 tip without saying it was not each that would be a no star rating... And some karma coming.

One of the worst places I couldve gone to get a tattoo.I thought getting a coordinate tattoo was really hard to mess up, I mean just numbers right? Not hard for a good artist.But mine was not a good artist.My theory would be a significantly larger tattoo, but instead I got a smaller one. Which was absolutely awful. Most tattoo artist would recommend going bigger, but mine did not mention it. He shouldve told me that he cant do the detail and would smudge the numbers and not do the degrees right. But alas no. And now I have find something to cover up this mess of a tattoo.They also dont bring you into a room to give you privacy which is weird.My artist didnt discuss aftercare either.And then when I talked to my friend about my awful experience, she mentioned that the exact same artist also messed up her tattoo and on top of that he kept staring at her chest and making her uncomfy.And then when i brought it up to Nick, he said he stands by his work and can offer a cover up, but obviously at a cost. But why would I trust him to do a bigger tattoo to mess up?Its awful. I spent 60$ to look in the mirror and hate myself.

I went in recently for a nose piercing.The shop is nice,clean and the people are great. I was pierced by Vincent and he took some extra time to look at a tattoo that I need fixed and I will be going back soon to get some ink done by him. It was worth the hour drive!

Unreliable business. Went there to get some tattoos done in the middle of the week and was told by Randy to come back that weekend and they would take care of me. Went back that weekend like he said and then was told to send a copy of the tattoos to him and he would reachback to me in a couple of hours. So I texted him after a couple of hours and then he said that he wasnt going to be able to do it that day. A few days pasted and I still didnt hear anything back from Randy, so I texted him to find out what was going on and he never replied back to say anything. To me this is unprofessional as a business and very unreliable. If he wasnt going to do the tattoos in the first place he should have just said so and not wasted my time. So needless to say I went somewhere else who did the tattoos I wanted the following day I visited their shop.

Me and my sister went to get matching tattoos, the service was nice, but the tattoos were horrible, they was childlike/amature the lines were not straight, the coloring was horrible and it was incomplete when mine finally healed in which I told the artist it wasnt, he just brushed it off. He charged us $80 a piece for these small tattoos which was not worth it (maybe because we pulled up in a beamer, I hear some artist do that) I had to spend extra money to get it fixed somewhere else. I will never suggest this place to anyone because tattoos r for life and this place was a waste of our money

I nearly fainted and they gave me some drinks to keep my sugar up, etc. I did notice that it hurt incredibly bad during the healing process and while I was getting it done. I figured it was the result of low pain tolerance or something like that. Fast forward five months. My nose was still tender and I had irritation bumps on both sides. I also had to get a retainer placed in for an MRI. I went to the shop within it’s open hours (there was no sign on the door, notice on FaceBook, etc.) that said they would be closed. In fact, I saw two workers inside. I called twice. They both glanced at me, but I could tell that they started to ignore me. I figured that they were busy, that maybe they wanted to limit the ppl inside because of covid, and that they would get to me once they finished whatever they were doing. I was desperate, because the septum ring was on so tight that I couldn’t even remove it, and I needed the MRI, so I waited. They never addressed me. A CLIENT came up to the door and told me they were closed. This is awful customer service and shows their lack of care. I work closing in restaurants. We let customers know that we cant serve them when its OUTSIDE our opening window. Yet no one, but the client, could walk the 10-15 ft walk to tell me that they werent open, 4-5 hours before their closing time.I ended up going to Immaculate Ink as they had an open slot and were ready to help. I saw the piercer, Madi, who let me know that my septum piercing was pierced incorrectly. It had gone through cartilage. That’s why it was so painful and it hadn’t fully healed. The inside was raw when she took my ring out, and it closed up while I slept. I can’t get it repierced until the bumps disappear.I really wanted to like this place and get additional piercings here. I recommended it. Now I see that it wasnt as good as I thought.

Serena is who your go to tattoo artist is in the CSRA! She always comes up with the best ideas for my horrible coverups I came to her with. She always gives me exactly what I want and I love that we can collaborate and be on the same page! ❤️❤️ Super talented, won’t go to anyone else!

I got my nose pierced today by AJ. He was very cool and laid back. He was knowledgeable and walked me through the process as far as what to expect. I am satisfied with the placement of my piercing. I highly recommend.

Great attention to detail. Josh did my tattoo. I made an appointment and he took his time which definitely showed in the final product. Definitely recommend this tattoo place!
