Can’t say enough good things about my daughter and I’s visit today with Brian! He explained and took his time with each of our piercings we got done (belly and Medusa)! From picking out the right jewelry for our anatomy, sterilization of the jewelry ,to educating us about everything that was taking place all the way to the aftercare instructions . He was extremely helpful and professional! Would highly recommend!

I recently had a full (mostly) sleeve tattoo done by my artist Gus. I dont even know where to start with this man; to say he was incredible would be a gross understatement. He did what I thought would be around 5 hours of labor in about 3 and was extremely hospitable. They always have the most interesting songs playing as well and they seem like a very tight-knit group of friends who know what theyre doing. The business as a whole is just very welcoming, and I will definitely be returning soon. You rock Gus!

We came in on short notice, 3 of us, for piercings. Brian, our piercer, was so cool right away and very understanding. We were first timers and he walked us through the whole process during the consultation. We’re all very happy and satisfied with the end product. He knew his way around a deviated septum lol. Also pricing was reasonable, about $50 each piercing. Brian was also very good at keeping us calm and laughing!! Will be coming back here again

I’ve gotten most of my tattoos and several piercings here. This is the best shop you’ll ever step foot in. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is so great. Their prices are beyond fair and their work is impeccable. I couldn’t imagine ever going anywhere else.

Very friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional staff! All of them! The artist took his time to make the perfect design and placement for my tattoo. They also took the time to look at a tatoo I got at a different location that I wanted to either cover up or have removed and went over options and reccomendations with me. While waiting for the artist to set up, which didnt take long at all, they even took their time to explain to me about when I could have my young daughter get her ears pierced, the pricing, technique, and even the type of metal used and why it is used. Fair pricing and exceptional work. They pay attention to what you want and ask for and take the time to give you their opinion on options about how it can be designed or placed in a better way. They make sure you are completely comfortable and satisfied with everything before beginning the tattoo and gave great after care instructions. This was my 13th tatoo, first-time visit to Mr. Tatoo, but I will definitely go back here if I ever get another tattoo. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a tattoo! The name of my artist was Chris Villins, a great guy. Great conversation during tattooing.

I got my first tattoo here in December 2022 with my friend. Prices and quality/skill vary by artist. My friend and I were each randomly assigned to an artist, but you can probably request a specific one if youd like. My artist was very nice, and I am happy with my tattoo. For reference, it was $200 (not including tip). I have included a photo -- it is about the size of my hand with my fingers together.However, they did have us pay with CashApp with the memo Happy birthday in order to avoid taxes which I realize is a bit sketchy in hindsight, but I am not sure if they still do this.*Edit: According to the owner, they no longer do this :)

I have super sensitive skin and was worried about my ability to get piercings, but they do a great job and send aftercare instructions, unlike other places I’ve tried. I got my septum pierced by Brian, and it was amazing. I couldnt feel a thing. He made sure I was comfortable and held the needle up to the spot before piercing so it wasnt a shock. The place was super clean too. Im definitely coming back!!!

I took my 7yr old daughter to get her ears pierced and I cannot say enough amazing things about Brian! He took SO much time just talking with and making my daughter feel comfortable! Got my Septum done today by Andrew and he did a fantastic job! It was very quick and he did really well letting me know what was happening step by step, telling me about after care, and making me feel less anxious than I was coming in for my first piercing. Will definitely be coming back for more piercings and possibly tattoos in the future!

My wife and i drove 3 hrs to come get pierced by Brian. Hes gentle knowledgeable and is able to recommend what piercing and colors look good on you. We will definitely come back to get more piercings from brian.

This was my first time getting a piercing and I was a nervous wreck. Brian was amazing, he took his time to explain what he was going to do and why he was doing it that way. I really like that everything was sterile and he used aseptic technique to make sure nothing was contaminated. Thank you Brian!!!

I love the shop. Clean, friendly, professional. Roger has done most of my tattoos. He does an amazing job. His portraits are amazing! He even recommended me to Charlie for a touch up on an older color tattoo that I wasnt happy with! Charlie did a great job bringing the old tattoo new life and making it something I was happy with and proud of. Best shop in town by a mile. Honestly I just came in to get my eyebrow ring changed out, but whoever the shorter person is with dark hair and I think a flannel, might go by the name of Austin? Lol very cute!! On Saturday, I drove from Columbia to Augusta to see about getting a tattoo. One of the men working there stated that I could use the bathroom but when I entered the establishment the women at the desk was really rude towards me and said they didn’t have a public restroom which they did. I told her the gentleman outside told me I had permission to use the restroom so after I finished using the restroom I confronted her about the situation. I told her I wouldn’t spend my money there and walked out. They need to learn how to be nice and respectful to customers if they want some business. 😡😡😡

Charlie was great! He was so nice and transformed my bad tattoo into a beautiful one! Definitely recommend him!

It was absolutely great, Andrew did my piercing. To be exact a nose piercing and I was so nervous actually scared to get it done with it being on my face. He made me feel completely comfortable and he went over everything from cleaning the tattoo to how long is the swelling supposed to last. he did a really great job and the price was really good, thanks Andrew. I first visited Mr tattoo to get my septum pierced. I got it done by Andrew and he made it a quick and painless experience and upgraded some other jewelry for me. On my second visit, I got two tattoos done by Zach which were executed perfectly. I showed him inspiration pictures and they came out better than I could have imagined. Both gentlemen were extremely kind and personable and I thoroughly enjoyed each experience. This shop is very clean and reasonably priced and every person I’ve encountered there has made me feel welcomed. 10/10 would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and can’t wait for my future visits there.

From someone who has several piercings and tattoos I finally found my “home” first of all great prices, secondly you’re explained everything that is going to be done to you. I waited to see my tattoo completely healed before I posted a review. It healed up nice and is exactly what I wanted. A job well done. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to my husband and I from the moment we walked in they made us feel comfortable and confident in them and our ideas. The short time we’re here we I’ll forsure continue to see Charlie for future projects and ideas.

I called less than an hour before I arrived (just to see if they were taking walk-ins), they answered enthusiastically and professionally. When I got there, they were ready! We worked with Nick, who is super DOPE! He was patient and did amazing work on both me and my dad. We both got handwritten pieces and they look amazing!

I recently had a piercing done by Brian. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Obviously cleanliness is an important part of a piercing, I will tell you that protocol here seems top notch. I am a surgical nurse so I have an idea about cleanliness. Brian cleaned and sterilized all of the equipment right in front of me as we discussed the procedure and aftercare. I would definitely recommend this studio!

They took me and my sister as walk-ins to get matching tattoos. Very reasonably priced and Nick did an awesome tattoo for me. The guys were really cool to just hang out with while everything was being setup. Their shop is super clean too.

Charlie was my artist. He did a great job and he did an even better job that I had in my head in less than three hours for me and my girlfriend. He suggested very great things to make sure that the tattoo would look good. Great artist overall.

Been going to mike hepler and charlie Baker for 10+ years. The guys at Mr. Tattoo are awesome and give you a customized and unique tattoo everytime. Nick Blackstone has done some amazing pieces for us, as well. Everyone else in the shop are just as top notch. The piercer, Andrew Degnan, is awesome at making the experience as painless as possible and hes extremely chill. 10/10 would recommend!

Got my first tattoo today with chris and he was awesome ! very cool and chill , kept me calm the whole time even tho i was lowkey freaking out 🤣 fun but professional

Upon entering the environment was welcoming as we were greeted. Robbie was exceptional he asked questions and seemed the most interested in what we wanted. His was station was clean, organized and he cared about what he was doing as he gave my friend her monies worth and gave her after care details and made conversation during the session. I had the woman with the locks, can’t give a name as she did not formally introduce herself, she looked as though she had just rolled out of bed but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, wish I hadn’t. I love my tattoo but $80 for a heart, I thought she would shade or do something to make it worth their minimum amount. Idk, other artist I’ve gone to see what u want and make it worth ur money; however, she traced the heart and was done & seemed disinterested front the beginning. She didn’t make conversation or suggest anything to make me feel I received an $80 tattoo. At the end a gentleman came around and spoke and everything and asked if we would leave a review about our experience and unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back though to Mr. Tattoo. Robbie was excellent but I just wouldn’t feel comfortable and there were a couple of Fruit flies or something. I understand the atmosphere of a tattoo parlor but it’s still a business.

Came in for the first time during the Friday the 13th special. They had great unique options that would make a wide variety of folks happy. They were quick and efficient. Nick was AWESOME! Even as busy as it was in there he took the time to help me pick the best place for my adorable new piece. He was personable and professional. And holy cow fast. I know linework pieces are quick but he knocked it out! Can’t wait to go back and get a previously done piece repaired/redone.

Nicks artwork is amazing.I waited 5plus hours, everyone was friendly, there was waters and cookies for everyone. And there wasn’t even aggravation showed to the people that kept asking how many in front of me. All of the staff was friendly and had smiling faces. Will definitely return.

I went for the Friday the 13th event yesterday and while the wait was long, I didnt really mind. Staff was wonderful, and when it was finally my turn I was nervous, but Robbie helped eased my fears and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. He was helpful answering all my questions too, and now I can finally say I have a tattoo! Thank you so much, I love mine. Hes funky and cool and I cant wait to show him off! Charlie was amazing and gave me a one of a kind tattoo of vampire teeth. The coloring is amazing and he made me feel completely comfortable. It was a bonus that they were playing the wonder woman movie while I was there.

I went to get a piercing and discuss tattoos with the staff. I was ignored and dismissed.Staff tattooers lost a sale, staff piercer didnt listen and pierced me wrong. I made a $100 mistake going to this shop.

Went there for their Friday the 13th event (12/13/19) and got myself a cute Grinch tattoo that was available with the event. There wasnt a line or anything when I got there (~5:30) and they were super fast and kind. Got my tattoo in probably 15 minutes and was done. Loving my tattoo!!!

I suffer from severe migraines since I was 11 years old. So severe I see a neurologist. My neurologist has tried all types of medications. Now I am to the point of taking shots once a month. Well, people kept telling me about get a piercing in the ear to releave migraines. Suffering with migraines for 20 years and trying all types of medication, I felt like this piercing couldnt hurt. When I got to the shop I had a migraine already for 3days. When I spoke to Brian (the per who does the piercings) he informed me he can not do the piercing unless I currently had a migraine; I did. He tested pressure points and explained everything step by step. Everything was very sterile (Im a germaphobe and he impressed me). He also pierced my nose. I had a bad experience with my previous nose ring. Brian explained what the other individual did differently and what I should do to insure the previous problems dont occur again. He gained my respect witg that conversation especially since he didnt put them down or bash them but instead informed me what was going to be done differently. Mr. Tattoo I want to say that you because you have amazing employees and I have not had a migraine in a month. Thank you

The people here are extremely genuine.I was somewhat more needy and odd than the rest. I asked if they had a water fountain and the guy practically made my day by how he treated me. Tossed me a water with a smile.Oh, and they’re R&M art is OFF THE WALLS, PEOPLE. Stop by and check out the Ants in my eyes, Johnson and the one with Rick and Unity using fractile dust. 🤟🏼By far I’d name this the “select” version of all of the places around here. Mutually couldn’t find anything negative, the crew is like your “favorite” from each of your old shops and put them all together in a new shop. The PERFECT select. I’ll be back, fellas.Nocturnal doesn’t stop me!Stay dope and don’t go anywhere, because ima be saving up for monthly needle checks, I found my new favorite artists!

They lied for reviews; when my friend and i went into mr tattoo on 12/13/19(friday the 13th) they said if you posted a review to yelp they would choose one person for a $100 gift card for their shop. I messaged them(on facebook) on the 15th to see if they had chosen a winner, no answer, so i called them on the 16th and they told me that they did not review the yelp policy before their giveaway and that they would choose someone that day(on the 16th) and post it on their facebook. They never posted anything to their facebook page, so my friend that i went with on the 13th messaged them; they messaged her back saying they picked someone on the 14th. They lied to their customers about giving someone a $100 gift card just so they could get reviews. And on top of all of that the lines on my tattoo do not touch, the artist changed the way it was supposed to look and i dont like the changes, and the shading just looks like missing color, not like a shadow like it should.......update to your reply. Im not mad that i did not win, trust me i can pay for my own tattoos. I am mad because you did lie. When i spoke with the owner he told me they had not done it yet(on the 16th), but when my friend asked you said you did the drawing on the 14th. So obviously one of us was lied to, and if a company is going to lie to its customers it should be known.

ETA have now gotten my second Friday the 13th tattoo and this is the place!! Have gotten Friday 13th tattoos here. Went to get nose pierced but the needle poker wasn’t there and they didn’t know when he would be.. call ahead.

My ear piercing had closed and I went to Andrew to get it reopened. I also went back and got a tattoo done by Zach. They both did a great job and would definitely come back in the future.

This is my favorite tattoo shop. Charlie and mike are very talented artists (I don’t know about the other artists I’m sure they are too). I feel very comfortable there.
