Went to Sarah to get a vertical Lip piercing. She is through with sanitation, informative & takes time to answer any questions, shes experienced & confident. She did such a perfect job, its straight, it didnt hurt & surprisingly my lip didnt really even swell up! She did such a great job, I booked another appointment before I even left from that one! Went today for my 2nd this time a dermal. Same experience. Faster, cleaner, smoother, prettier & less painful than other experiences! Definitely this is the place to go for a piercing!

Ive only been to Evil for tattoos by Kaylea Elliott, no piercing services or other tattoo artists. I absolutely cannot recommend Kaylea enough! Ive gotten three pieces done by her (two custom designs and one flash design) with more booked! Her style is super cool and unique, nothing like Ive ever seen! She is SUPER nice and made me feel heard if I had any concerns or questions about anything at all. Very gentle and not heavy handed which is always appreciated. Super flexible when I mentioned my allergy to adhesives of second skin and gave me cling wrap instead for every tattoo. Very easy going and doesnt show any annoyance or on edge feelings ever, and her tattooing space is super comfortable and welcoming. When I got my sternum tattoo, I was super comfortable during the entire process and not worried about being exposed. Kaylea is definitely a person behind the artwork, and not even comparable to other tattoo artists Ive had in the past at other locations! STERNUM NOT PICTURED FOR PERSONAL REASONS

I had a wonderful experience as always. I have gone here for many piercings and it’s always so pleasant. Everyone is so kind and the atmosphere was safe and relaxing. It was nice to chat with everyone.The piercing experience itself was amazing as well. Everything was clean and went smooth. There was no pressure and I felt informed on the process as well as aftercare. I plan on going for all future piercing needs.

Getting a tattoo by Kasey was probably the most enjoyable tattoo experience Ive had!Her easy going nature and amazing art work just made the experience wonderful. She had to work around other tattoos and it turned out better than I couldve hoped.Can not recommend her enough!

Piercings were good, but pricey. After paying online $138 to book the appointment, I arrived and was surprised to be charged $30 per earring on top of that. So another $144.82 with the steri wash. At that point, when finding out the cost of the jewelry, it is too late to back out, or you are charged for not canceling ahead. They have you over a barrel here. Had I realized it would cost $282.82 just to pierce my earlobes, I would have gone elsewhere.Updated to address shop reply: The cost of jewelry needs to be more transparent up front. Nobody would expect to get eight separate charges for two pair of earrings. It isnt customary to pay for the front and back separately or each earring in a pair separately. It is understandable how this might catch people off guard. A little price transparency would go a long way to avoid bad reviews. The current practice is a bit unethical.Aside from price the experience and piercings were fine.

This is one of the best places to go for tattoos/piercings. Everyone is very welcoming, understanding and very sweet. Sarah was the one who did my septum, and she was absolutely amazing. Even though I have a deviated septum, she made it look perfect and straight. I now understand why this was my moms favorite place to go. I can 100% say that I will be back again in the near future and now have a go to place for my piercings and tattoos.

My daughter (10) came in to get her ears pierced. She has high levels of anxiety but badly wanted to be able to wear more than just clip-on earrings.It took a very long time to calm her because of her anxiety, but Sarah was incredibly patient and kind. She answered my daughter’s questions, explained everything she was doing, and never did anything until my daughter was ready.We ended up doing two separate sessions in order for my daughter to calm down after the first ear and cope with her fears. Three days later we were back for the second ear, and Sarah was just as patient and kind as the first time around. She again waited until my daughter was ready, and ultimately she now has two pierced ears. Thank you so much, Sarah for your patience and expertise!

I got my naval done here about a year and a half ago and it has since fully healed so I feel as if I can give an accurate review. The process was quick and easy however I am not someone who gets a lot of piercings so I had a few questions and the piercer either didn’t answer them or answered them rudely. It also felt as if she was not paying attention to what she was doing and I have ended up with a crooked piecing due to that. On top of that she gave me no information on the aftercare of my new piercing and I had to rely on the internet and friends to figure that out. I went in a year later bc I had realized the jewelry seemed to be too big as it moves around a lot and never stays in place. I went in asking for a downsize and without even looking at the piercing was told to that they don’t do that for navels and that it’s just my anatomy. Overall, I had a decent experience with this place but I will not be returning and I have been recommending others to go elsewhere especially if they want a navel.

The piercer apprentice, Lilee, who did my eyebrows, did a fantastic job! Made sure everything was even (as I am a perfectionist myself) and the process went by so quickly! Already a day in and I can’t feel them at all! Excellent job, I’ll definitely be back in the future.

The piercers are very rude and passive aggressive. One sat on her phone the whole appointment and did not listen to me while I was explaining my piercing issue. They have done poor jobs at piercing me and other people I know who have gone here. A lot of the time they have been crooked and Ive gone elsewhere to have them repierced. I would not recommend to anyone to go to this store as the workers do not care about their job and actually giving a proper service. They are rude and dont care to do a good job on piercing somebody. Id highly recommend just skipping and scheduling elsewhere.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a piercing in Bloomington. I’ve gotten four piercings at this place. They’re very clean and professional with high quality titanium jewelry. I have a deviated septum and they pierced it at an angle to it looks straight in my nose! So awesome work.I will be honest in saying they aren’t the most warm and friendly people, but it is a tattoo shop. To me getting a piercing in a clean environment with strict hygienic practices is more important than customer service.

I’ve really wanted to get my nostril pierced since I was a teenager! When I moved to Bloomington in August, I decided to schedule an appointment on impulse. I was able to get in day-of. I filled out the necessary paperwork, picked out my jewelry, got pierced, and left all within 15 minutes. Sarah was my piercer and explained every step and made it so easy! It was a super easy experience and I have had 0 problems with it in the almost 6 months since!! Thank you:)

Jon Rio has done my first tattoo and every other one since then... There are undoubtedly many artists to choose from in Bloomington, but I will continue to go back to Jon. Every tattoo he has given me, I cant imagine having in any other way. Clearly he has a versatile style and can tattoo anything. Look at the line work on that bottle and the shading on that boxer. The dude knows what hes doing and hes super nice. Real patient dude with me wanting to move the stencil 3 times before I take a seat. Hes the real deal, strait up! Of course, I have been pierced here as well and once again, its just always a great experience. Definitely book an appt with Jon if you are thinking about getting tatted any time soon!

This is the best piercing place you could ask for hands down! Sarah and Jamie are so professional and amazing gals. They know what they’re doing hands down, and they have never steered me wrong. The selection of jewelry is amazing too, they have something for everyone. I’ve gotten almost all of my piercings done by them and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I’m hooked!

Have been here for both tattoos and piercings. They are both friendly and very professional. They work with you to give you exactly what you want and are happy to help and make recommendations. I cant speak for the other artist there but Jon and Jamies work is top notch. I wont go anywhere else to get tattoo and piercing work done.

Did a walk in to get my bridge repierced, Jamie took great care of me! Took her time to make sure it was even and placed perfectly. It was such a painless experience. And the prices are fantastic.

Booked an appointment online had a down payment of $70, went there on time and had to have my birth certificate and my moms id at 17 to get my ears pierced.. online it said only under 10 years of age so i thought i could i get the piercing with out my mother and just show my id and i had my grandma with me so i thought at least it would be okay right ? No. So if i didn’t get the piercing i would have lost my $70, so i rescheduled later that night and brought my mom that had to leave work to come get me from martinsville and take me back up here to bloomington so i wouldn’t lose my $70, i got the piercings on my ear lobs on both sides and it was $40 on top of that $70 for the jewelry. Just saying from my point of view there was nothing online that game be prices of jewelry or anything and honestly that’s not cool when your on a budget. Don’t waste your money.

My experience with Jamie was very different from what Ive read. She was helpful, polite, and gentle. She was professional and did an amazing job on my double nipple piercings! Everything was clean and sanitary. They have some nice jewelry too! Thanks for a pleasant experience, Ill be back!

Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is always clean and well maintained, and jewelry is high quality and there’s a wide variety to choose from. I hate pain and needles, so I was very nervous getting this piercing. My piercer, Sarah, was very kind and reassuring, explaining the process thoroughly and giving me suggestions. She was patient and did not rush the process at all. After the piercing, which was quick and not as painful as I had expected, she explained how to take care of it and answered all of my questions. If I’m ever brave enough to get another piercing, I am definitely coming back!

Sarah did my piercings on my birthday and she did an amazing job. I got my vertical labret and eyebrow pierced. She did a phenomenal job with both but I’m especially impressed with the vertical labret because I have thin lips and she made it look so good despite that. It was placed very well and I’m absolutely in love with it. I’ve gotten compliments on its placement online from other piercers and comments about how well she did. I ended up taking out the eyebrow piercing after a couple months but this had nothing to do with how she pierced it and was entirely due to my lifestyle and klutzyness. I kept snagging it on stuff and the last straw was getting a vr headset. I kept hitting the piercing with the headset and just couldn’t take it anymore 😂 i went back to downsize the vertical labret after it was healed and had a great experience both times I’ve been there. I am planning to go back any time I want a piercing, jewelry change, or piercing consultation. I would absolutely recommend evil by the needle and Sarah to others. 🖤 first picture is day of piercing and second is 8 months later.

I got two cartilage piercings done and they did a wonderful job! Everything was very clean and the staff was incredibly kind. The pricing is fair for higher quality piercing and jewelry.Edit:I had to come back because I lost one of my piercings. I did not have an appointment and did not call ahead, but they were SO accommodating! Once they finished with the appointment already in process, they took me right away! The staff was still incredibly kind, and everything was still very clean!

I had my nose pierced about 3 months ago, and I’ve been having a bump pop up every now and then so I called and set up an appointment time with Jamie! She was so nice and reassured me that it was Normal and helped me pick out a new nose ring and put it in for me, because the jewelry was the issue! Super quick and easy! Jamie was clearly very experienced with the cleanliness, professionalism, and the way that I was comfortable with asking questions. I got double lobes done (4 total at once) and she was nice about providing information since I hadnt received that much from a previously botched piercing (from a different place). Definitely would return for any other piercings I might get in the future.

The vibes here are amazing. Jamie has done almost all my piercings, Sarah has done 2. Both are super professional, easy to talk too and make you feel comfortable. Jamie pierced my doubles (ear lobe) and septum, and both appointments were quick, efficient, and super clean. Jamie is easy to talk to and clearly a professional at what she does. Super happy with the results. Ill definitely be back in the future.

The venue is clean and in a good location. I went to get my nostril re-pierced. Piercing costs $25 and the website urges you to make an appointment online which was highly convenient. They also tell you online, in no uncertain terms, that you needed to wear a mask and provide a vaccine card upon entering. I called in advance and asked if I could show them a copy of it since I was in the area on vacation; that was fine. When I arrived no one was wearing masks and no one asked to see my card, which was fine, just misleading. If you arent doing it anymore than just say so.The studs are exorbitant in price. The cheapest threadless stud was $20. It is titanium but its absolutely tiny. They quickly went up in price. A shape was $25, a rhinestone, $30. They told me that with threadless studs you have a base piece and the tips can be interchangeable. I asked how much the tips were. Same price, youre buying the base regardless. Well, that really isnt much of an incentive, is it?When I was taken back for the piercing I asked them to walk me through the process. Im sure they are used to people getting freaked and walking but it had been ten years and I wanted to know beforehand so I would be prepared. The artist refused to give me details, had me lay down and quickly pierced my nose inside out. Last time I was sitting upright in a chair with a cork up my nose and they pierced me outside in. Huge difference. The shock was awful, I really could have done with her explaining it instead of just treating me like a 5 year old getting a shot.So far the healing has been good and the piercing looks great. But the experience could have been far smoother.

My daughter has had 2 nose piercings, 2 ear piercings, and a naval piercing here. She has seen both Sarah and Jamie. Our service has always been excellent, the store is very clean and organized, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff members are friendly and give great education about products, services, and aftercare. We continue to visit this business and recommend it to others because of our positive experiences.

Absolutely amazing. Sarah did a bridge piercing for me and she really took her time making sure the placement was perfect. Once she actually stuck the needle through it felt like a grand total of ten seconds and I was completely done. She was super friendly and im in love with the results. I will be back!

I would (and have) recommend this business to anyone looking for a pleasant and professional piercing. Jamie is awesome! She was super helpful and patient as I took some time deciding what and where my piercing would be. Its been over 30+ years since my last piercing so I was a little nervous! LOL. She gave me a couple options to choose from and was extremely sensitive to my budget as well. Its an extremely clean place and I love the appointment app they use. It gives reminders to the appointment and they confirmed the appointment right away.

Jon and Jamie are amazing as a couple running a small business. Sure, we have had to wait a little while to get to Jon. He is a great artist and needs time to finish up with a prior client, or reset himself to assist the next one. Jons work is well worth the brief wait. Jamie and her children will engage customers as they can. There are always people in the shop with questions or getting piercings. Jon has a very laid-back, calm but straight forward personality. You can give him some basics and he comes back with fabulous artwork that you can truly be proud of. I had never had a tattoo, and Jon was patient and willing to chat about anything to help me be calm in the chair. His opinions about an idea are honest, but never inappropriate or mean-spirited. My son was in the room while his dad got a tattoo and he was very against the process at first. Jons willingness to answer his questions and great attitude opened my son up to being more accepting. I would recommend this shop to any of my colleagues or office staff, and often have. They are very clean, very open about their processes and I could not have chosen a better place! I’ve gotten all my piercing here since I was 15!!!! Love love love Jaime and always happy with all my piercings and experience when going here. She is so sweet and down to earth and easy to be around. I got my 2nds re-pierced and my helix done the other day. The piercer was incredibly nice and easy to talk too (which helped because I was very nervous.) She did an amazing job fixing the mistakes of my last piercer and working with the thick scar tissue I had. She also gave excellent tips on caring for my piercings. Very professional and highly recommend!!

My mother in law and I went to Sarah to get our nostrils pierced and she did amazing!! Super friendly, very professional and her work space was very clean. Will definitely come back to her if Im wanting another piercing!

I have been pierced by Jamie for TEN YEARS now. I have never had a bad piercing or a bad experience with her. She carries quality jewelry and always has something that works with my sensitive skin (that she helped me problem solve before I knew I had an allergy). Very clean shop, you watch them open their new materials so you know its all fresh and clean. I dont even live in Bloomington anymore but I still make the hour drive to her whenever I need something new.Kasey is also doing my half sleeve and shes incredible, too. Loyal customer here.

Did my daughters ear-piercing - Sarah was really kind and patient, the place is clean and does things by the books. Much better experience than we had with another location in town. Definitely recommend!

I have been pierced by both Jamie and Sarah and tattooed by Jon. I have had nothing but upbeat, friendly, professional experiences each time I’ve been there. The store is super clean and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Once when I was unable to get a piercing I wanted due to the smaller size of my ear, they took the time to explain to me why they were unable to do it and helped me select a different piercing instead. This place is the best!

I was very disappointed at the prices for the jewelry and felt mislead. Prices were said to start at 10$, but the earrings were not available in sets. The front and backs of the earrings were sold separately. 4 payments for 1 set of earrings. I will got be coming back.

Sarah pierced my septum and they did a great job! It was my first time getting pierced and I was extremely nervous so I appreciated how efficient and calmly they got in and got out for me.

Im terrified of needles (despite having tattoos), and Sarah did such an amazing job at going through the whole process and keeping me calm while getting my ears pierced. I particularly appreciate the process our artist went through helping brainstorm our tattoo ideas. Our artist was able to provide digital mockups as well to support our choices. I would rate this 10 stars if i could , i have gotten a few piercings from here. Jamie is amazing! She likes to keep a conversation and she is very funny.I recommend everyone go to her or john. They are both very friendly! Great job guys, Keep it up!! :)

Went with a friend to get some piercings, and they turned out wonderful! The piercers were very gentle and allowed him to take his time when he was fairly shocked after first getting them. They even brought him water and plaid relaxing music as he recovered from his first piercing experience. Very nice people who do great piercings for a really cheap price! Amazing place

This is mine and my husbands go to place for tattoos or piercings. John has done multiple tattoos for myself and done large pieces like a sleeve for my husband. Hes done portraits of our children and more cartoon type pieces as well. I love his line work, the thick lines are my favorite. Ive gotten multiple piercings from Jamie. Shes so nice and funny and keeps up a conversation with you while she works with you. The fact that they attend several conferences and such every year makes me feel like their hearts are invested in what they do and they want to be the best at it. The shop is clean and weve always had a great experience there.

Evil by the needle has always been my go to for piercings. Jamie did my upper cheek dermal 11 years ago & from day 1 Ive had absolutely no issues. She is always super helpful. This shop all around just has great hospitality!

Best piercers in Btown! I’ve had four of my piercings done here over 7 years by two different piercers. They are always friendly, clean, professional, and gentle. They ask all necessary questions and make sure that you’ll be satisfied with your piercing. My most recent was a septum piercing and she listened to exactly how I wanted it to look and sized my jewelry perfectly! All of my piercings were walk-ins and I never felt uncomfortable or rushed. There is parking behind the building.

Stopped by, owner has 20 yrs experience according to her dad that was there. When she showed up she stated that she didnt do taboos after I was told she did. If you didnt want to do it just say no. Shop was empty and was told theyre booked until Sept. It was a ghost town. Js

I went to Sarah over the weekend to get a piercing. She informed me I could not get a specific piercing done since I did not have the proper anatomy, and suggested other options which was super helpful. She was super nice through the whole appointment and she is very bubbly (: Such a great customer experience.

I had my nose done in January and Ive been meaning to rate!I am a minor so I was super nervous to get it done because I dont do well with pain at all.The piercer was amazing and Ill definitely go back! She was patient and was able to keep me calm. Afterwards, she explained how to clean it and said if I needed to remember anything that I can check the website (which was very detailed and helpful, by the way!!). She even said that when and if I go to change it, I can go back and she will help me get my stud out!The jewelry is also gorgeous and great quality! I usually have allergies to certain metals, but I havent had any swelling or pain whatsoever. I definitely recommend Evil By The Needle! All my friends have gotten theirs done their too and we all love it. We will %100 go back!

Super clean, and friendly. All the staff were very kind, professional and attentive. I never felt rushed or disregarded as just another paycheck like at some places. The place is immaculate and everything is cleaned and sterilized to the highest level. Definitely recommend going for piercing and tattooing needs. You wont be disappointed!

I don’t know why I’m just now getting around to leaving a review here but Jamie is absolutely amazing! She’s pierced me, my mom & so many of my friends. She’s also super quick and makes sure I feel 100 on what i’m getting. I’ve been going here for years now. No offense but I really don’t like all the other tattoo studios in Bloomington for various reason so I’m glad this place is reputable! Sarah is also super sweet & I had my nose ring readjusted (cus I didn’t know how to do it myself lol) by her a long time ago & she didn’t charge me! I haven’t had anything done by Kacey yet but I met her a long time ago & will be scheduling an appointment w her next year!

Each experience ive had here both tattoo and piercing related have been fantastic! everyone there is incredibly friendly and clearly loves what they do. overall fun environment to be in and very strongly recommend!

Ive been going to Evil by the Needle for over 7 years at this point. Jon did my first tattoo when I was young and a handful of them since then, last time I was in we tried to figure out how many tattoos Kasey had done for me and it was over 20, Jamie has done at least 12 piercings for me- ears, nostril, septum, (under mask ones pre-pandemic) etc,- Sarahs done a few. Needless to say, I have been in their shop MANY MANY MANY times, and each experience has been great so I continue to go back time and time again. Ive been to other tattoo parlors, Ive gotten piercings from other piercers, but I always return to the crew at EBTN. The parlor is one of, if not the, cleanest and most professional tattoo/piercing parlor Ive been in. I always leave with the best quality service. Ive never had an issue with any tattoo or piercing afterwards, theyre always very well done, with separate rooms theres plenty of privacy, everyone that works there is well trained and constantly taking time to learn the latest techniques (seriously, they go to educational conferences every year), the place is incredibly clean, everyone is welcoming and the jewelry is fantastic quality. It is easily the only place I would, and do, go in Bloomington and surrounding areas. I send all my friends here, and Id encourage you to too.

Just got my second tattoo here, and they were amazing! It was on my ribs, which isnt the most comfortable spot to get inked, but he was really understanding when the pain got bad and made the whole thing go really smoothly. I have been getting pierced by Jamie here for over a decade at this point. I have also gotten tattoos by Jon, Kasey, and Stefani. Everyone in that shop is amazing, extremely professional, and know what they are doing. The negative reviews left are not a reflection of Evil by the Needle nor Jamie in the slightest.

I got my first tattoo from Jon at Evil by The Needle, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was very patient with me. He is so accommodating to everyone that comes in, and will make sure your tattoo is placed somewhere it will look good. I have also gotten several piercings done by Jamie, and I wont go anywhere else for a tattoo or piercing. They are just fantastic.

I have no idea what people are talking about when they say the people here arent friendly. Sarah was super nice and clearly knew what she was doing and I love my piercing! I got a double helix piercing and it just felt like a strong pinch, wasnt too bad at ALL.

Ive gotten multiple piercings here, along with one tattoo. I also brought my little sister in for her ear piercings.Every time I visit, Jon and Jamie are nothing but friendly and knowledgeable. I have been going to evil by the needle for years now, I have been impressed by every service Ive had done there. I had my nose pierced years ago and will be going back soon to get it re-pierced. The main lady who pierces there is amazing! I picked out some new beautiful opals for my ear and she helped me take out my existing ones and get the new ones in, no questions asked. Thank you!

I had a tattoo done here around 5 years ago and it was so traumatic. I had sent the guy there a picture of lavender a month in advance and when I showed up he was not prepared. He couldn’t find the photo I had sent. When he did, he decided to free draw on my wrist. He seemed to be speeding on something, because he turned away and then got supplies and came back…looked at my wrist he had drawn on and asked if I already had ink. I laughed, but he was serious. So, he started tattooing only to realize that he hadn’t put a needle in the gun. I should have left, but I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect, because I trusted him. I was so upset about the whole experience. In the last year, I was able to get it covered up. If you feel uncomfortable, trust your gut. All I know was at that time it was a man who was running the shop with his wife.

Jamie has pierced me and several people I personally know, and we all had a similar experience. She is rude and uses incredibly low-quality jewelry and equipment for her services. She also uses outdated piercing techniques known in the piercing world to no longer be as effective as once thought. Jamie also leaves rude/low rated reviews on other piercer’s review pages disguised as other people because she is threatened by their superior piercing quality and techniques. I am entirely unimpressed by her professionalism (truly, a lack thereof) and willingness to learn the newest and safest techniques as well as her choice to use low-quality jewelry. She pierced my septum and my labret and both ended up either crooked or unsalvageable. I will no longer be giving her or Evil by the Needle my patronage as a result.Edit: I think the quick and defensive response to this review by the piercer herself only reinforces my points. I left a review of constructive criticisms which may be harsh, but I think it’s beyond appropriate after the treatment of myself and several others from this individual. But go off.Edit #2: My legal name is Brooke Fedrick and I’ve had two piercings done by Jamie. A septum and a labret. My septum is crooked and my labret had to be removed within weeks of the piercing. The septum was done in 2015 and the labret done in 2017. Yes, I’m a real customer of this shop. If she tries to claim I’m not, at this point we can all conclude she is lying as I wouldn’t have given my full legal name if I was. Not that I owe her/the shop any of this, but I wanted to ensure anyone reading this review knows that it is real. I think I owe it to the people potentially getting their bodies permanently modified by this extremely uneducated and unprofessional piercer.

Sarah Pucci removved my dermals for me all 3 of them and it was easy. Fhe had me in and out in no time. She was super friendly. The overall experience was amazing. I really appreciate it!!!!

I have a question. When do you think nose piercing will be an option again? I had one and a year after the piercing it came out in the shower. Snagged on washrag. Ouch. Anyway I didnt think much of it, finished my shower and went ro put it back in, but the hole was closed too much to so. 😞 I would really like to get it re-done. Wish I HAD, before the pandemic. Also how much would it cost?

Went in to see Jon for a tattoo not long ago. I had never been to this place and had not had a tattoo done in years. I was a little nervous, but it could not have gone better. Jon was very friendly and even suggested a font for the tattoo that I liked better than what I had come in with. I definitely recommend.

Piercing prices here are so cheap and the lady who did my triple ear piercing was so sweet. She helped me change my nose jewelry free of charge and this whole experience was just quick and easy. Definitely will be going back for more.

Jon did a watercolor tattoo for my sister, and Terren did a dandelion for my mother. They both did such a fabulous job! I was totally bummed that we didnt have time left for me to get a tattoo as well. Beautiful artwork, and we so enjoyed chatting with them while we were getting inked. Cant wait to go back and get mine done! I live three hours away, and its totally worth the drive!

I got both of my nipples done and my wife got her nostril pierced. It was a very nice experience and the results are perfect. They definitely know what they’re doing and I/we will definitely be coming back.

Very nice and caring people. I got one of my planned two snakebites done a couple weeks ago and the swelling wouldnt go down. Went back in and they figured out that the bar was too short so they replaced it for free. Now no swelling problems at all! Going in next week to get the other side done! :)

Got tired of being treated badly by Jamie. I had two piercings here and walked out before she had chance to touch my children. I wouldnt blame this on a bad day as she treats people badly everytime Ive been here. Went to Amber at Crimson Breed instead who treated me with tons of kindness and helped me research my piercings before I got them and decided.

$150 an hour is high on the high end for tattoo work. Also, when someone comes in looking too do business and introduces themselves, its polite to at least make up and 1st name and respond in kind.In response to your response: Its unfortunate a passer by cannot stop in and ask questions with out feeling relatively unwelcomed. Its unfortunate the only way you wish to communicate is through the exchange of money (after the work) and of course social media. Best of luck to you and yours.

Absolutely wonderful! Came in on a busy day with a group of friends who all wanted pierced and we were in and out with barely any wait time and they were very helpful with all our questions. Can’t wait to go back to get another piercing.

I received my first tattoo at this shop and was satisfied with the tattoo itself, but was not happy with how I was treated by the artist. He basically told me that he wouldn’t do my tattoo if it was too “girly.” This was shocking to me since I was a paying customer. Then a couple years later, I went in to get spider bites. The woman was nice and told me what I needed to do afterward, but didn’t ask me if I was allergic to anything. I ended up going home with the spider bites but my lip was super swollen because of my allergy to the nickel in the post and when I went to another shop to check it out, was told that the piercer hit a capillary in my lip. I’ve read other reviews from people and the piercer claims that she is the “best in Bloomington?” Funny. I feel if she was the best she’d know to ask if her customers are allergic to anything and wouldn’t mess up a person’s lip. My advice, go to Genuine or Crimson Breed.

Very informative staff...clean place...helped us when my daughters daith piercing got really infected from another piercing place....gave her a larger hoop and told her how to take care of it....it healed up and that is the only place we will go to from now on...she has been back to have the daith hoops changed which they do for 5.00. highly recommend...

The staff here are so good! I’m new to piercings and didn’t know you’re supposed to eat before getting one, so naturally I almost passed out after getting it. Lol my piercer took every precaution to make sure I was okay in the end! She got me water, a trash can, walked me to the couch to sit, and even gave me a starburst!! 😋 then she taught me that I’m supposed to eat before getting a piercing. Won’t make that mistake again!! I would definitely return here.

Got my nose pierced here abotu a month ago. It was my first piercing. They had a great selection of jewelry and were very kind and patient with my nervousness. The process was quick, relatively painless, and expertly done. Additionally, when I started to feel faint afterwards, they were very caring and helped me get to feeling better. I have only good things to say about this place, and were I to want something else pierced I would no doubt come here again.

My 14 year old did not have her ID so we couldnt get her ears pierced. Yes Indiana has a law that saws a needle cant go into my kids ear, but the proprietor was kind of rude about it. She acted put out that she had to refund my money. Not the best customer service. Oh and she was really condescending towards us. Not ok. I guess we werent cool enough for her. ✌

I have quite a few tattoos and one of my favorites is from an artist at this shop! I will be returning soon for more work. I am super picky about the artists I choose and all the ins and outs of my tattoos. She was great with details and made me feel comfortable. The only suggestion I would have is getting a more comfortable chair to sit in when being tattooed. I think the pain of sitting was worse than that of the tattoo itself!

Both piercers are really nice and make you feel comfy! Make piercings quick and easy, if you face any troubles during the healing process they troubleshoot and make sure you’re good to go! :)

The BEST place to get piercings in town! Ive gotten all 8 of mine there and Jaime each time was friendly and did an amazing job! Could not recommend them more.

So I got all 7 of my piercings there (I only have 5 now.) 4 earrings (2 each ear) at size 14. Septum at 14 and spider bites each at 14. It is clean. They seem to know how to do the initial piercing and the after care and such. All that is fine and perfect. Why they get a one star from me is because I took my spider bites out for 30 minutes to take a shower and clean them. It had been about 45 days so thought it was healed. Nope. It closed shut and I couldnt get back in. I went to evil by the needle to get it repierced. But instead of doing that maybe there was a legitimate reason that it couldnt be repierced, she decided to stretch it to size. So it was about a 22 where it was and went to a 12 in one go. I was told it would heal faster but I was in pain for about a day and found out my lip and ripped open on the inside from the stretching. Not like horrific, but enough that I still have scars from it 5 years later.

Amazing! got three piercings in my forward helix and Sarah was really good! First piercing with a needle and anywhere besides my lobe! Amazing and very knowledgeable!

Clean nice shop, but awful customer service. I came here for a tattoo in December and they were empty, yet still seemed to have no interest in tattooing me, but finally said “I guess he can do it for you”. I came back for a nose piercing, and once again they were rude and pierced my nose with a hoop that was extremely to big. I couldn’t stand it and went to another parlor in town and they said it was pierced in the crease of my nose which is a big no no, and it could have been done with a smaller hoop. Happy with my results from the other parlor, but I do no recommend this shop for piercings!

Had a tattoo done by Kasey, who was delightful and thorough in translating the design idea to a great-looking tattoo form. The shop was clean and had good COVID-19 measures in place--I will definitely be coming back again!

Very classy, decadent decor. Clean, kinda posh. Private, elegantly styled private booths from what I could see. Very kind, helpful ladies working that night! I didnt get my piercings.. The Universe prevented me. I swear, it yanked my bank card out of my change purse, which was in my purse.. Good thing tho 😅

I took my daughter here to get her nose pierced, so Im rating based on her experience. Not a bullring (which I forbid) but a side nostril piercing with a delicate hoop. The personnel were friendly and efficient.

I came in to get a few tattoos and after some discussion the artist improved upon every idea I gave, the staff is nice, friendly, creative, understanding. There is nothing I can complain about with my experience. The prices were very affordable. And the NWA and Tupac playing in the waiting area was very nice.

I am a minor. They told me when I got my nose pierced to look on the website to learn how to clean it. No conversation, bad constomer service. Very rude. They didnt show me the ring before they put it in , so I had no idea the shape. They also didnt explain how to get it in or out. Literally put a hole in my face and was like look up everything else for yourself. Really sucks if you ask me.

Clean place, nice people. Pretty reasonable pricing over all. I wanted my nose pierced and Sarah was really helpful. I also wanted flatbacks for my existing earlobe piercings and she took care of it all really easy.

I got my belly button pierced here. It ended up getting super infected but I am sure that was my own fault. I came back some time later to inquire about a tattoo but the guy I had talked to really did not seem interested. So I left and went to Crimson Breed instead.

Edit: For those who are getting body piercings I would recommend Jamie! I got a belly button ring done here (not by Jamie) and the jewelry put in it was way too big and it was constantly putting pressure on it and causing infection. When I returned to ask about it, someone took one look and told me it was rejecting and to leave it alone. I come back about a week later and Jamie I believe it was put a much smaller piece of jewelry in it and I can already feel the difference! While my piercing was originally straight, it has healed a bit crooked due to the large jewelry that was put in it by the piercer constantly pushing it out and to the side (I did not change the jewelry) It has been about 7 months since i got this piercing and now is the best it has felt due to Jamie, extremely knowlageable and knew what the problem was immediately and was willing to help. Major recommendation to Jamie, in my experience Sarah does great ear piercings but if youre going for body jewelry I cannot recommend jamie enough! Lovely experience! My piercer was Sarah and she was great! Very professional, but also clean facility! I got a helix and my boyfriend got his lobes done, his first piercing. She was very professional and made him feel very comfortable! Both piercings were placed well and are healing great. She got both of us in even though there was some confusion with the appointment booking. The jewelry is beautiful and I will definitely be returning for piercings in the future!

Walked in with my friend for a tattoo an hour and a half before they closed. It was very simple (took the other shop 20 minutes). When she said what I needed the girl greeted her with “I’ve been here 11 hours and haven’t eaten.” Then she went to check with the guy (the owner) to see if he wanted to do it. It was obvious by his attitude that he didn’t but he finally said he would. After we waited while they rebooted the computer 3 times we finally said “We’re just gonna go.” The girl opened the back door when we got to our car and said the computer was finally up. We said “That’s ok. We’re gonna go.” Then she slammed the door. We drove across town and found a friendly artist who charged $20 less, had it done in 20 minutes and didn’t require a computer to draw it up.

Clean, professional, fantastic service. I’ve had my ears pierced here several times and have had nothing but the best experience. Would definitely recommend asking for Sarah.

When I got my tongue pierced, the lady that did it was so good. I didnt even feel the needle go in. She was really nice and very informative on how to take care of the piercing.

Went to Stefanie at Evil by the Needle for my first tattoos and couldn’t be happier; she’s rad, a great artist (went to an art school in Chicago), and very reasonably priced based on her quality of work - especially when compared to others’ tattoo prices and their quality. I haven’t interacted with any other staff here, so I can’t rate or review them, but the shop appears very professional and clean.

Unprofessional, disrespectful, made be feel bad about my body and my decisions, had her kid just hanging around in the piercing room, didnt provide me with information on how to take care of my piercing. The piercing itself was fine but the service was very unprofessional

I have had two piercings, an industrial piercing, and a tragus piercing that the same girl did. I wish I could recall the girl who did it because she is the best! Im sure thry are all good but She always had her! She is VERY knowledgeable upin everything about piercings! She even explained that my right ear was different than the left and that I needed to do the left ear for the industrial bar. If i went anywhere else they would have pierced the right ear without me knowing that it would not lay flat and rub, thus causing issues. So I thank you to the awesome gal who did both my piercings. I will get your name one day! That would help with a review! Just because I dont know your name doesnt mean you are unforgettable! Best and only place to get pierced. Go here!

I ask Jon for a Star Wars Sandtrooper tattoo and boy did he deliver . he was patent with me all the way through. He was considerate of my time and what I wanted. I could not love my tattoo anymore.

Walked up and saw sign no walk ins appointments only; so stood there and called number on sign but the voice message stated do not leave message. Very odd and I was disappointed. Not sure what think.
