Took my 12 year old Daughter to get 2nd holes in her ears and Christian was great! Professional and efficient. The studio was clean and he took his time to do it right! We are so pleased!

Black Cloud Tattoo and Piercing. My experience with this company was a very enjoyable experience. The place alone was Immaculate,the staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable about everything I need to know about my tattoo. My tattoo artist Mr.Tim was so cool, make me feel super comfortable. And his work speaks for itself. Im more than happy with tattoo, and have gotten so many compliments on it. Next time that Im in the Charlotte NC area, Ill be coming back for my next tattoo. Mr. Tim is an amazing tattoo artist. I personally am very picky and have a full right arm sleeve previously done. I came to Tim to get my spin and neck tattooed, his lettering absolutely amazed me. It’s so clean, neat, the flower is the same. The butterflies on my neck are gorgeous as well. He is very gentle while giving amazing results. I will recommend him to anyone who wants any tattoo.

Ear piercing artist was very knowledgeable, we waited just a short period of time before being seen. Which was fine because the artist took that time to prepare the area before piercing my daughters ear. She explained to my daughter what my daughter needed to do for after piercing care. The place was very clean, the artist sanitized the tools before piercing and wore protective gloves the entire time. Gloves were also disposed of after use. I highly recommend this location.

Kaylan was awesome! She pierced my youngest daughter’s ear lobes and my oldest daughter’s nose. I also went to Black Cloud for my nose piercing. I highly recommend them. But Kaylan was so professional and made my girls feel at ease. She is hilarious too!

Was able to get same day tattoo with Tim who was absolutely Awesome for Mother/Daughter tattoo & Tattoo is flawless. Then got nose piercing by Arianna who coached me through it all because I was nervous. Both artists very professional and knowledgeable. Go see them at Charlotte Premium Outlet Steele Creek area.

I went in to get a set of spiderbite piercings. The artist was very nice and explained everything as she was setting up, and we were done in less than 15 minutes. I love the piercings so far (will love them even more when they finish healing…) and I will definitely be going there for future piercings!

The workers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet for the most part but some of them just seem very inexperienced! I got my septum pierced here and the ball fell off while I was sleeping. We drove 45 minutes to come back and get it put on just for a young man who worked here to botch the job, nearly rip out the piercing, fail to get the ball back on tight, and then look at me like I was insane when I said I felt light headed (I have a very low pain tolerance and he was very rough with what he was doing). He then charged us $30 just to have the ball put back on even though we later learned that it was supposed to be free. He was fairly polite but his lack of experience and professionalism made the whole experience horrible. He then moved locations but still works with black cloud. I was extremely disappointed by all of this (especially when the ball fell off again less than an hour later). I really used to love this place and the atmosphere the workers created but I just feel like I cant anymore. We eventually got the whole situation sorted out (I owe all of my thanks to Emily and Alex, the two piercers who have made me feel very comfortable here throughout my piercings) but it just wasnt enough to make up for everything with that horrible experience. If you can get to Emily or Alex I can tell you that this place is amazing, but past that, I just feel like I dont feel safe with another piercer at black cloud after the whole situation with my nose piercing.

Hello I went here yesterday with my mom & we got inked for the first time .. we got tatted by Jerónimo !! He did amazing super talented & detailed !!, my mom god tatted by someone else forgot his name but he’s in the pics & did great as well !! Worth the price too he wasn’t overly rough or anything & they all had a super welcoming & relaxed atmosphere in there, definitely coming again .. already thinking about my next piece thank you !! Definitely a spot to visit :)

I went with my friend and I am super in love with my tattoo. The girl was very accommodating and I didn’t make it the easiest (I wanted to subtly change the design then went back to the original) and I am very happy with the result. It is healing and she did a beautiful job! 10/10

Way too expensive and don’t like the service.*response to the owner/manager* This is a platform to express my opinion on your business not for you to come on here and express what you think fairness is. If you want fairness then you should offer industry standard pricing and not try to upcharge and rip people off. On pricing when I call 15 other shops and get prices and yours is the only one that is ridiculously overpriced then yeah your prices are too expensive. Same with the service, when people walk into your shops they should feel welcome and feel the atmosphere and culture that is tattooing and piercing but when I have come into your shops I got nothing but coldness from not on the receptionist who is the face of your business but also your artists. A lot of people come in and it is there first tattoo/piercing and they are excited for it but with customer service like that it puts them off and can damage the image of the industry.

Had a wonderful experience getting my septum pierced with Alex! She was comforting, kind and personable. The piercing process was a breeze thanks to her expertise. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Cant recommend her enough!

I came in February and got A Medusa piercing done by Alex. I just came back and got the snake eyes piercing done by Alex again. Alex is amazing! I live in Monroe but will come to Charlotte just to get my piercings done by Alex. Her customer service is amazing and her work is amazing ❤️ I highly recommend Alex!

I had my tragus pierced yesterday. The process was fast and straightforward. There was some mild pain, but it wasnt unbearable. I plan to return for a double helix piercing and to have my other tragus pierced.

I would not recommend going to Blackcloud tattoo shop in the Premium Outlets in Charlotte next to No Grease Barber shop. When you pay the $100 deposit it does not go towards the cost of the Tattoo. I recently had a tattoo shaded in which I was told would be $300 dollars. Tim the Tattoo artist took a couple of breaks then I was told when he was done it would be $300 which I paid him in cash. So my question was what happened to the $100 deposit, he told me he would role it over to the next Tattoo when I came back for the second tattoo. I get here today and Tim was out due surgery but no one called or said anything. After the receptionist Kayla sends him both my numbers still no call. So I asked for my deposit back, finally a man walks form the back calls Tim and then I was told by Tim that he wasn’t fully paid for the first tattoo because it was $400 dollars. So if I didn’t want to move move then they are going to keep my money. Instead of causing a scene I left but unless you like being ripped off, stay far away from there as possible. My friend Recommended this shop too me and I truly wished he hadn’t, totally ruin my Friday.

Alex at the location in the Charlotte outlets in Charlotte NC did my piercing. She is freaking awesome!!! So funny, sweet, and very knowledgeable. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I definitely recommend her!

If you want to get pierced ALEX at Black Cloud in the Premium Outlets is who you NEED! To say she is amazing is an understatement. I went in with my sister to get piercings and from the moment we entered Alex was such a ray of sunshine. I took my 14 year old daughter here today to get her nose pierced. She was super excited but also nervous. We saw a lot of really great reviews on Jeni so was glad that’s who ended up being the one to do her piercing. All the other reviews talked about how she made them feel at ease, how super sweet she was, and that she was very comforting and encouraging. We didn’t get that version of Jeni. She wasn’t mean but I was disappointed that we didn’t get the same personality as the other reviews gave. She was very non-chalant and not very warm. If I were the one getting the service I wouldn’t care so much, just thought we’d get a little bit more compassionate & encouragement for a 14 year old child. I will say the studio was very clean and as sterile as possible, I just wasn’t impressed and was disappointed that there wasn’t a warmer presentation.

Me and my best friend went to Black Cloud on 10/3/22. He got his lobes pierced while I got my septum pierced. Jen was super nice! More people should go there for sure. Everything is very clean and sterilized. I had a few nerves going in but Jen was amazing. We are both very pleased and had a wonderful experience. If we get future piercings, definitely will be going back.

Jenny is fantastic! She is very knowledgeable about what she’s doing. She made sure to explain to me step by step what was going to happen and what I needed to do afterwards to keep my piercing clean and not infected. The process was quick and nowhere near as painful as I thought. I’ll be back to see Jenny again!!

Amanda did our piercing for me and my 15 month old son.1. This place used needles - not that stupid traumatic gun. Its a plus.2. Piercing are cash/card - only the tattoo is cash only.They dont allow your jewelry, so, you have to buy theirs.Amanda was very good, she was pretty careful/patient with my baby :)

I got my snake eyes repierced with Vna after having them in for 7 months. I was really nervous and worried it would hurt even more than the first time because of any scar tissue but to my surprise Vna made my piercing almost painless! She made sure I was comfortable and told me what she was doing every step of the way! The majority of my piercings have been done at black cloud. They’re #1!

Had an appointment for 12:30, artist Matt didn’t even know about it when I walked in. Medium sized tattoo I excepted it to take maybe 2-3 hours. My artist continually left me sitting on the chair while he dealt with other customers and even pierced two people which took over an hour. I didn’t leave the shop until roughly 930. A 9 hour ordeal with terrible service for what should’ve been maybe 3 hours max. Don’t recommend at all.
