Absolutely amazing experience start to finish! I booked an appointment for myself and my mom for her birthday, I wanted to get my third lobe piercing and my mom wanted to get her tragus and we both could not be happier! The shop is adorable, warm and welcoming and the jewelry is gorgeous and affordable compared to a lot of other studios in the Springs. While picking jewelry after checking in, Kat (who is amazing at both interior design AND piercing placement recommendations) mentioned stacking my 3rd instead of piercing it in a line and showed me what that would look like and I immediately fell in love! Mike was incredibly kind and patient with both of us and has such a calming energy about him. He is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he does :) The fact that we didn’t have to drive downtown either for a 10/10 piercing shop was the cherry on top! We will definitely be back, thank you so much Bevel & Gold!

This is the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. You can tell this place is incredible by the mass amount of great reviews and they’ve only been open a few months. They are thorough and very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of jewelry to choose from (it’s expensive, but reflects the quality😊). Beyond his knowledge and clear passion, Mike is friendly and very positive. It made my experience comfortable. I could tell immediately he isn’t in it for the money as he takes his time finding the perfect placement, being incredibly clean, and making sure you know exactly how to care for it. I have never had a piercer thoroughly explain and show me exactly how to clean it to ensure it heals properly. On top of that he told me to reach out anytime to make sure it is healing well. I left feeling well prepared, whereas other places in the springs did not inform me well and I ended up having a piercing that did not heal well. Thankfully I found this place!!The prices reflect the high quality work, products and care you receive. As well as go to a local business (which is where I want my money to go)! This is the only place I plan to go to be pierced from now on! I will recommend it to everyone. The VERY few negative reviews on here are clearly people who want cheap prices and to be told what they want to hear (not what’s best), as well as bitter coworkers. So if you are looking for a low quality cheap experience this won’t be for you. But if you are looking to get a quality piercing that looks good, heals well, and feel comfortable, this is your place!!

Literally the BEST piercer out there. Mike did such an amazing job making me feel comfortable and made the experience so memorable. His personality is so upbeat and fun. I would recommend this place a thousand times over any other piercing shop! If I could give it ten stars i would!!

Awesome piercing experience! The shop is super chill and very clean. I came here because I had my septum pierced four weeks prior to my visit and the previous shop didnt place the piercing in the correct place.Bevel & Gold consulted and told me to wait about 6 weeks after taking out the previous piercing. I took a chance and came in after 4 weeks.Upon arrival, they measured my nose and picked out a horseshoe specifically sized for my nose. Cleaned me up and sanitized the nose ring. During the piercing they took their time to find the sweet spot before doing the piercing itself. Breathe in and I was done!The experience and the placement of the piercing was night and day compared to the previous time I got my septum pierced. I highly recommend Bevel & Gold! I found Mike at Bevel and Gold by chance after visiting more than a handful of other piercing studios in the area. I am here visiting from out of state and decided to spontaneously get a triple helix. Mike carries beautiful, high-end jewelry at the most fair prices, and his knowledge and expertise made me feel most confident and comfortable. As a bonus, he is one of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Mike and his beautiful studio.

Ive been going to Mike for about 4 years now, and Ive brought my coworkers, my significant other, and my mother in, and theyve all had wonderful experiences. I first met him when he repierced a nipple piercing, I chose to return and get my third lobes repierced. Hes recently matched nostril to an existing one and pierced my septum, one of my easiest heals yet. Ive had all my jewelry switched out by him, and hes so caring about making sure youre not getting hurt or feeling uncomfortable with anything. Ill be coming back next month and hopefully adding another piercing to my collection. Mike is such a stand-up guy! My younger sister and I came in for piercings (nostril for me, second lobe for her). Mike was so warm, friendly, and gentle with both of us. He clearly explained exactly what he was doing and set us both at ease with friendly conversation and encouragements to breathe deeply :) he did a wonderful job on both of our piercings! The shop is a beautiful, calm environment. It’s super clean and feels very welcoming! Overall, this was such an incredible piercing experience. We both will be back in the future!

Such an amazing little shop! Mike is such a kind and knowledgeable person, you can tell hes passionate about his work and takes it very seriously! My friend and I came here for my septum and his nipples to be pierced and Mike made the process so easy! He was super calming and kind and just very welcoming. His attention to detail is everything! I had a great experience getting my nose pierced here. The shop was warm and inviting, and Mike, the piercer, had such a good energy. He was super kind and talked us through the whole process, which made it much easier. My mom and I both got piercings, and they really took care of her too — water, ice packs, the works. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a chill, comfortable piercing experience!

I got an ear piercing here and it was a great experience! The place and the owners are both really nice and calming, providing a comfortable experience. I by pure coincidence booked at this piercing shop due to my first choice being completely booked up and I am so glad it was because this shop was amazing! Mike is such a great guy and made me, my bf and his sister all comfortable. His love for his profession is so admirable and inspiring! I got my septum done here and his selection of jewelry was amazing and the way he made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening and what he was doing was so nice! The initial piercing was great too, I felt barely any pain the most uncomfortable part was the clamps. If you are thinking of getting a piercing here DO IT. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop and the people who own it/work here. I’ve gotten many piercings at many different shops, and this has been by far the highest quality experience. Mike is an amazing person with so much wisdom and care put into everything he does. I got double high nostrils done by him several weeks ago and they are PERFECT. Perfectly even, beautifully done straight, and he has given me the best advice and care regarding the proper jewelry to use. They even reached out to make sure it was healing well. They truly care about their work and only offer the highest quality jewelry so you can be assured you’ll have the best chances of healing properly. Not to mention, they’re family owned and can regularly take walk ins same day. This is my new go to shop for piercings. Even if I move out of state, I’ll make the flight out here! Whatever shop you have an appointment with, cancel it and come here. Best experience you’ll have.

I got my nose pierced today and I am not one for needles but this place was amazing. They made me feel welcomed and not uncomfortable at all! The place is super cool and they are very patient with you and make sure that’s exactly what you want. The people there are so sweet and amazing on answering any questions you have, and the person who pierced me was very fast and did an amazing job. I couldn’t recommend this studio more! I have gotten both my nose and eyebrow pierced by Mike and both experiences were great. He makes the process as painless as possible, and he is a very knowledgeable piercer. I initially had my nose pierced by a different shop, and I was pretty unhappy with the placement. He generously offered to repierce my nose for free, and I am so much happier with my nose piercing now. Not to mention that the jewelry selections at Bevel and Gold are phenomenal. Anyways, definitely one of the best studios in the springs if you want a high quality piercing with high quality jewelry!

I was welcomed at the front door by the owner himself. He made me feel valued and important. Throughout the entire process of my nostril piercing, he made it a point to calmly educate me on what he was doing so that I felt at ease. Most people go to tattoo shops for piercings, but piercings are his specialty. It didn’t hurt at all and I’ve had no issues since. I feel comfortable knowing I got a safe and affordable piercing. Got my septum done by Mike on the 4th of July. Its something I had wanted done for awhile, but wanted to make sure to get it done by a professional. I called the day of and as I was leaving a voicemail, Mike called me back. He was very personable and knowledgeable putting me at ease.I made an appointment and drove to my appointment. When I arrived, I had plenty of time to pick out jewelry and enjoy the beautiful decorations and scenery. Mike is very friendly and caring. You can tell that he really takes pride in his work.As he did work to prepare for the piercing I noticed he changed gloves 2-3 times. Before we did the piercing we sat and just did some breathing exercises. Then he performed the piercing and there was a bit of pain, but nothing like getting my ear lobes done. He gave some piercing cleaner and aftercare instructions.If you are looking for someone who is a professional and takes great care in their consultation with clients, I highly recommend Mike! He is so friendly, passionate, and caring. There is a beautiful selection of jewelry with affordable options.

Mike has done eight of my piercings now. He is an amazing piercer- the only one I will go to now or send any of my friends to. Highly recommend. Mike is also incredibly trans friendly and a safe person to go to. Cant say enough good things.

I had an amazing experience with Mike getting my nose pierced! He did a great job explaining every step to me and working with me to calm my anxiety about getting my first nose piercing. At bevel and gold they use high quality jewelry and they take sterilization very seriously. Their prices are fair and Mike and his wife were super friendly and helpful. Fantastic place! I wanted a piercing done to cover a surgical scar that had disfigured my belly button. Mike talked me through different options, techniques etc and did an amazing job! Came in for my first ever piercing and left with two. Michael was absolutely amazing. First and foremost, he is an absolute professional, and it is easy to tell how much he prides himself on doing nothing but the best work. Throughout the entire process Michael was constantly checking in and asking how I was doing, my comfort and safety were always his top priorities.

Who knew there was such a thing as an upscale piercing salon! This place is beautifully decorated and calming. My 21 yr old daughter and I went together for 2nd lobe piercings, and neither of us experienced any pain whatsoever. I was nervous because my childhood memoried of my first piercings were horrible. Mike is fantastic at what he does. And honestly, his sterile/sanitary practices are better than many medical procedures Ive had done! So I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this was. I even slept on my side that night and had no discomfort!Before we arrived, I had my heart set on opals, and he had a huge selection to choose from! Overall, this was just a lovely experience!

I wish there were an option for a 10 plus star. Seriously the best piercing experience I have EVER had. I was incredibly nervous about getting a piercing I have wanted for years above my upper lip. Mike and his wife put me right at ease. It’s like you are walking into family you have known forever. The care and concern is beyond anything you could ever imagine. The time they take with you, and patience to ensure your comfort and happiness is phenomenal!!! Their excitement after it’s done will absolutely rival yours. I cannot recommend them enough. Bevel & Gold is by far the best piercing shop I have ever been to!The experience is amazing from the moment you walk in until well after you leave.They took the time to help me pick out the jewelry for my cyber bites, giving honest, but kind feedback.The piercings themselves couldnt have gone any better either! Not only did he take the time to make sure they would be even, he also took the time to make sure they aligned well with my features.I can say the pain expected was far less than any of my other piercings and the healing time has also been by far the easiest! Other than the initial piercing pain, there has been minimal pain or swelling.Magic fingers, expertise. Probably both.Also, the place is cleaner than any doctor office I have ever been to! (I know they arent a doctors office)I will highly consider flying back to Colorado Springs for Bevel & Gold to put more holes in my face! I wish they were in my state!You wont regret scheduling an appointment to get pierced asap, I promise!

I couldn’t have picked a better place to get my 5 year old’s ears pierced! We called several shops and none were willing to work with us because of her age. Mike didn’t hesitate after he saw how excited my daughter was to get pierced. He was so good with her and his skill speaks in the fact that my daughter barely even flinched during the piercing. She was so excited and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. From the moment you walk into the shop, Mike and his wife are friendly and professional. I’ve gotten both dermal anchors and a nose piercing by Mike, and definitely plan to get more. One time, I accidentally snagged my dermal anchor on a towel and not only was he willing to be patient, he also assessed the piercing, and worked with me on the healing process all free of charge. He’s very calming to talk to while getting pierced, as he will walk you through each step and make friendly conversation with you. The jewelry he offers for the piercings are also great and his pricing is very fair in regards to the quality of the jewelry he has. All of his clients are loyal, see his hard work, and are extremely proud that he opened his own shop to thrive in. Good job Mike! Keep going :)

I highly recommend going here for any piercing wants. They were very helpful and gave good insight to what jewelry would be recommended. I got the tragus piercing. The business was very clean, and welcoming. He walked me through every step. Very thorough in cleaning prep and after care instructions. I am from Oklahoma and plan to see them in the future when I visit. Fantastic atmosphere!

Mike is super welcoming and really takes the time to do the job right. If I could give this company/owner more than 5 stars I would. My boyfriend and I just went to have our noses pierced for our anniversary. Let me tell you this is by far the best piercing experience I have ever had. The owner is very professional while still being down to earth and personable. He is fun and lighthearted. The atmosphere and energy in his shop is immaculate. I will definitely be back.

I would give mike 500 starts if possible! he is such an amazing person and piercer. he cares about every single person who walks through the door and treats them like family! the shop is absolutely beautiful, cleanly and has a great jewelry selection of the highest quality jewelry. Mike always does the most amazing piercings and makes sure you are comfortable.The negative reviews are from a workplace that him and i both worked at. they are harassing him for doing what is best for him and his family. let alone every piercers dream is to open their own shop! it is complete nonsense and harassment against mike and his family which truly shows the character of these people.

I’ve had 2 experiences with Mike now. Firstly he fixed a piercing by another artist no one else would touch. After him it healed perfectly. Secondly he stretched my lobes and explained everything along the way as well treated me like a friend not a client. This guy is great! He also has great jewelry to purchase that is unique and different. I never feel judged for not knowing things he always explains everything.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this was absolutely necessary. The first time I had gone into Bevel and Gold was a few months ago, asking for a professional opinion on rather or not I should remove my eyebrow piercing, (that had migrated to the surface). Mike told me to remove it and come back in a few months. Today I came back in to get it re-done, and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience. Aside from having a very stylish, friendly, and professional environment, Mike had made sure that his area was super sterile before inviting me back. When I went back, I had told him and his wife that I wanted to be very specific about my placement and was upfront about my nerves/uncertainty, all of which they replied to with reassurance and professionalism. My piercing itself was great, but more than anything, the quality of the service and communication really shined through. Will 100% return back for any future piercings, and could not recommend Bevel and Gold more!!

I had such a great experience with Mike and Kat! Set some extra time aside when you come here because Mike does a thorough job cleaning the area and figuring out exactly where the needle needs to go for the best outcome. He is so knowledgable of piercing practices and anatomy, and clearly loves what he does! He walked my friend and I through every step of the process, was mindful of disinfecting surfaces and changing gloves, and made friendly, comfortable, and calming conversation throughout the process. I just cant say enough good things about this shop. You get what you pay for, and in this case you can expect to spend some good money, but rest assured you are getting quality jewelry, a compassionate experience, and will feel prepared to care for it after you leave. The energy here is immaculate!

I had to take my six year old in to fix bad ear lobe piercings that were done when she was a baby. Mike was great working with her! She was very hesitant about getting her second lobe pierced after the first one was done he was so patient and calm. He was not going to force anything and respected her no. She did end up agreeing that she wanted both ears pierced and thats when we moved forward.The piercings look so much better he was able to fix it and make them look even!I would highly recommend this shop for anything you need done! They run a clean shop, are very personable and knowledgeable.Also for any parents of a six year old that is adamant they want their ears pierced. No matter how much you try to prepare them, or how much they insist they want them, it might be a challenge getting the second ear pierced.

Ive gotten pierced by a couple different people but had my jewlery changed out by Mike for my helix and got my nose pierced with him. Hes by far the best piercer ive been to. The nose piercing was barely even painful for me and he talks you through the entire process. Hes an incredibly down to earth person and makes your experience special in different ways. His family makes their shop incredibly accessible and comforting. Mike and his wife are incredibly friendly and lovely people and will work with you to give you the best experience possible. When I move to Denver Ill 100% be driving back down to get pierced by him!

Wow. Not only has Mike been the BEST piercing experience for me and my friends who have gone to him, he’s the coolest, kindest and most caring dude out there. I’m pretty conservative with my piercings, meaning I like my jewelry minimal and delicate, and Mike always has the BEST selection for them (which includes a cleaning and placement as well). While other piercings I’ve got done from different stylists have rejected (like my nose), Mike has the patience and experience to repierce and achieves a perfect healing process for me. I thought I was sensitive; turns out it just needed to be done RIGHT. Not only that, but the environment is welcoming! Safe, comfortable, and I always have a fun time. That can be hard as a woman, but, even with being in my early twenties, I feel comfortable and not judged when I go in (unlike many other tattoo studio that have piercings). 10/10 recommend for people getting their first or hundredth piercing.

Hands down Mike is the best piercer in Springs, he also has the best jewelry selection I have ever seen! He has helped me so much with my piercings over the past year I could never repay him to be honest. He helped piercings heal that he didnt even think would heal to changing out pretty much all my prior ear jewelry to his amazing collection of jewelry. He has the best opal jewelry from nano metal it is awesome! I had my earrings fall out on a trip last year and then recently got hurt at work and had some jewelry fall out from it and everytime mike helps me! He is so personable while he does a fantastic job piercing! I got my nose piercing done with him and we did a unique nose piercing with my old piercing and it was a great idea he had. His wife and kid are so nice and his wife is very knowledgeable as well in piercing and jewelry. I am so happy for mike. Mike is the kindest soul, and the most professional piercer I’ve met. Bevel and Gold is an environment fit for a piercer such as Mike; spacious, welcoming, and above all incredibly sanitary and clean. The waiting room is inviting and comfortable, as well as the atmosphere of the piercing room itself. Compared to where Mike was previously, he now has 10 times the amount of space and getting Jewlery switched out or a new piercing is way more comfortable. Mike values placement, and customer satisfaction before anything else; triple checking placement and angles, ensuring the jewelry is the perfect fit and never upselling, and being quick and efficient to deliver painless and consistent piercings.

I had a pretty awful experience here. I went in simply to buy a couple pieces of jewelry to replace some cheaper pieces I already had in my ears. As soon as I reached the counter, which took a minute in the first place, the staff talked down to me. The person at the counter was very abrasive in correcting me on what I called certain pieces, even though I was calling them the correct names, and was extremely rude when I didn’t know something and had to ask for clarification. When the piercer came out, he basically spent the entirety of my time with him telling me how awful all of my other piercings looked. I left feeling extremely discouraged and not very well served. Honestly, you can find a lot of other places that give you high quality jewelry and treat you with dignity and kindness. Do not recommend.

My experience with Mike, the piercer, has been disappointing and eye-opening. Initially, working with Mike he appeared professional and trustworthy, but over time, his true priorities became clear—hes primarily motivated by profit. He left his previous position abruptly one night, sneaking in the studio and moving out without any notice, leaving many clients without the services they were promised, which was a real letdown for everyone involved. Whats more troubling is Mikes approach to pricing; hes not transparent about his fees and significantly marks up the cost of jewelry, by A LOT. Having to deal with upset clients who were overcharged was a regular problem we had to face when working with Mike. We value our clients and would end up refunding them with no penalty to him, he smiles in your face but only wants your money. This lack of honesty and consideration for his clients shows a disregard for their trust and well-being. His sudden departure, without any communication or apologies, only adds to the frustration. If youre considering his services, think carefully. Its crucial to choose someone who values integrity and respect over personal gain.

Mike is wonderful! I’ve gotten jewelry changes done by him several times. He’s super gentle, walks you through the entire process and ensures you’re comfortable while you’re in his seat. I can’t recommend him enough!
