Banter by Piercing Pagoda

I Called cause they cancelled the order I placed last night due to an unexpected inventory issue. When they picked up the phone was glitching and I couldn’t hear the man who answered well. I kept telling him I couldn’t hear and he just hung up on me and never called back. The only thing I heard was that they broke the jewelry I had bought and something about shipping. I was trying to see if I could switch it to the chapel hills mall but didn’t get any help from the horrible customer service. I was able to handle it on my own and switch it to chapel hills but if you couldn’t communicate with me through the phone a simple email would have been better so I would know what’s going on.

Really should have known better but my child was not bad and did Not move, so there is no excuse. The employee just didnt care to do his job. Not only did we park in JC Pennys side but we didnt walk anywhere in the mall after getting her ears done. After getting them done her back never even got put on on her right ear, so we had to go back in and get a back. An Not even make it threw the night and the left side back falls off and the earing falls out. You guys are closed so we will be back tomorrow I would like a refund for atleast the price of her earings or the service fee for him obviously not double checking the backs before finishing. It was a rush. I recommend Claires, very disappointed

Went there to get my 6 month old ears pierced. I dont have any complaints about the place. Its great that its just a booth and easy to find. Process was pretty simple and easy going, wait time was about 5 minutes and this was because there was a customer before us and she had 2 kids getting her ears pierced, but while they prepared for hers they took care of us and we were done in less than 3 minutes. Employees were very knowledgeable and caring. They sterilize the tool they use in between each use and in front of their clients. Keep in mind that this tool doesnt come into any contact with your baby more her earrings. They also offer military discounts for those who are military. I can say that her earrings were a decent price. Yes they are small but they are also 14k gold, perfect size for a baby. I can day I recommend this place if you are looking to pieces your babies ears.

I went to this place to get both my ears pierced. I arrived at 11: 15 am got pierced at 11:30. Went to a family function and while showing family and friends the earrings the diamond fell out by 3:50 pm. It was very embarrassing! I paid $137 for the piercing and earrings that I were told were the best to get. My experience needs to be shared and I have to warn anyone DONT GO TO BANTER! You would do better at a tattoo shop to get pierced. The quality of there merchandise is DOLLAR STORE! And the jewelry is extremely over priced!!!! If you want to get ripped off and you have money to throw away on low quality then this is your place. The worst!!!!

This place is the WORST! If you are going to get pierced just go to a Tattoo Shop! They have rules and regulations that is required by law! Banter is extremely overpriced and the quality of jewelry is Dollar Tree! The customer service was below average and they only want to upsell you so they can get the most profit for Horrible Jewelry!!! GO to a Tattoo Shop if you want to get pierce. Go To Banter if you want to get ripped off! I got pierced and 3 hours later the diamond fell out of the earring! This place is the Worst!

If you’re looking for stress free jewelry shopping and piercings done right then this is definitely the place to go. I wanted a simple ear lobe piercing, and the consultants were extremely helpful and had amazing attention to detail to ensure my piercing placement was spot on. My ear has healed up quite nicely and very quickly.

I adore this place. Ive gone here for a total of 5 peircings. I have two peircings on each ear and a repeirce on one. They are quite a bit expensive BUT they are really cheap compared to other places like Clairs. The people were really nice and definitely know what they were doing.

I went today to do two piercings. There was a buy one get one free offer. I bought 2 earrings and when I asked for my free earing they didnt give it to me. I dont know why they offered something and then didnt give it to me.

Had a great experience here. Got both upper ears pierced. Better than the competition because they are consistently polite, dont have anything to prove and not in a grungy shopping center or weird house. Highly recommend over our local shops.

They do use a gun, but it is changed out for each and every piercing. The peeps there were very understanding and educational! There is a wide variety of piercings/earrings to choose, the piercing itself is free tho.

Went here to get a double lobe piercing, the first lady wasnt that nice or helpful but the second one that actually pierced my ears was pretty nice. i got the feeling that they only care about you if you pick out the most expensive earrings but in the end, it took 10 mins to get them both pierced and the piercing was great so whatever

Me and my boyfriend went to the pagoda at the chapel hills mall back in February and all of the jewelry we got broke or stretched out and we were very frustrated because we went back two different times to exchange the jewelry . We went back again and they weren’t able to find our items in the system and they were not very helpful . We than went to the pagoda at the citadel mall and Sierra helped up she was awesome and so caring and put in the extra mile with us we will definitely be going back to her every time ! :) thank you guys again

Every single place like this in the mall is illegal. They do not and CANNOT clean the piercing guns. If you really feel the need to pierce your childs ears or your own, PLEASE GO TO A TATTOO SHOP. They are REQUIRED by LAW to keep things clean and sanitary. Please do some research and stop giving these disgusting places your business.

This is my updated review: New SM is amazing. He truly loves what he does and it shows... The team is on the up n up for sure. They were cleaning and really makin sure to keep us safe.

I would have to agree with my girl Kim. Really poor customer service. No respect for you unless youre picking out the largest most expensive piece of jewelry in their case. Couldnt even get them to answer their phone until I spoke with the manager at Zales. And Im still just waiting on a resize...

Poor customer service. Horrible horrible horrible. They can’t even do their job right. Then they wonder why they are making $10 an hour working in a mall.
