Best tattoo experience I’ve had yet! Javier was EXTREMELY communicative once we placed our deposit online. The shop was very clean. He was exceptionally professional yet very very personable. Javier genuinely cared about the deep meaning behind our tattoo art, and wanted to know the story behind them. It was like this helped him envision his art better. When my wife and I were done, we had literally made a new friend. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! We very highly recommend this shop, and specially Javier, the artist.

Alissa is awesome. She did a stitch tattoo for me and it looks amazing. She is friendly and put her own spin on my tattoo but stayed within my requested tattoo. I will use her again in the near future. So happy to have found a wonder artist.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tattoo experience at Empire!! Jesse brought my vision to life even better than I’d hoped anyone could. The environment was relaxed and immediately put me at ease (I was a little scared for my first color/solid ink tattoo!). The other artists popped in occasionally and complimented my idea/Jesse’s work which made me feel even more confident! The aftercare/process of a traditional/neo-traditional tattoo was explained so well. Also, if you’re socially anxious like me, I can confirm everyone there was the perfect amount of “chatty.” It felt friendly/familiar but never like I was worried about filling awkward silence. I will absolutely be back!

My experience with Empire Tattoo is nothing short of amazing. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. From the ability to walk in, share our ideas, get feedback as well as amazing art created for us on the spot. My artist, Audrianna, was FANTASTIC. Her entire vibe made me feel comfortable, happy and excited to be tattooed. She kept me engaged, shared experiences and shared laughs through-out the process. I will definitely visit Colorado again and when I do, I will be paying this shop another visit!

At the last minute Jesse was able to get me booked in. Very reliable, relaxing, and chill vibes. He took instruction very well. He recreated a letter my boyfriend whom passed away onto my arm. Its so good.. It looks almost as if he wrote it on me. Weve discussed another appointment for another tattoo I want him to do. Last year Jesse was able to get me in for a couple of sessions to finish up a phoenix on my arm that someone out of state had started years back. He did a phenomenal job with the color work and really brought my sleeve and my bird to life. I have more plans to finish up a couple of empty spots on my sleeve and plan on getting a large back piece. I won’t go anywhere else! He’s great, the shop is very clean and so is Jesse’s work. Pictures just doesn’t do it justice.

This was my first tattoo. I was super excited to get it done and Jesse did not disappoint. I sent him a sketch that I had drawn and then he redrew it and made it amazing. I am super happy.

He has been my artist to go to for the last 3 years, and I refer everyone I know to him. To me he is one of the best in the Springs. His line work is super clean and crisp regardless of the boldness or fineness of the line. His color is beautiful and to add the cherry on top, he is communicative, understanding, punctual and respectful of his clients to the highest regards. There really isnt much he cannot do as an artist. 10/10 recommend this shop and especially him as an artist.

I love that Jesse knew not to tattoo over moles. I went to get matching tattos with my mom and the way he drew the tattoo out left it open for my daughter to get the matching one when she gets older. The water color splatter is definitely on point. Highly recommend!!

I personally havent gotten a tattoo just yet at this location. However, I have had my eye on Jesse work for a few months now. I am very impressed with his art and talents. He was very responsive and attentive when we did communicate about what I wanted. He was ready to throw down some ink. Just location was it for me( 2hours away). Although maybe I just need him to finish up my last few tatts I want. Ive been keeping my eye on him. I will be in the Springs this Saturday, unexpectedly but will be fun. Loving my tattoos. It was my first time to get my tattoo and my tattoo artist made me felt comfortable. We created conversations and I was surprised about how fast time flew. This made me want to get more tattoos because of the talent and professionalism this place have. It wasnt even painful and he answered every question I have. Also, respond time with them is very quick and they answered all my questions. The place is also so clean and friendly.

So coming all the way from Minnesota on vacation and Getting a tattoo here was the highlight of my trip!! Marc was our artist and was super professional, quick, funny, extremely talented and genuinely made me just feel welcome there. The shop was inviting and comfy and very clean! All 6 of us got a tattoo and he even did some extra last minute work on most of us - poor guy haha! One of the best tattoos I have and I have quite a few. Quality of the tattoo is great and overall experience was incredible!! I will definitely drive the 15+ hour drive to get a lot more work done in the near future that is for sure! My friend and I were getting memorial tattoos to honor the passing of my brother. We were initially supposed to get tattooed by the owner Jesse, however, he passed us off to Mark. That was probably the best thing because I truly enjoyed my experience. I changed a few details of my tattoo and Mark easily accommodated. Mark was funny, engaging, explained what he was doing, and took his time. I love the work and will definitely be back to see Mark!

Went in for a walk in appointment. Instantly was impressed by the quality of work combined with the inclusive atmosphere. Javier took care of me and hedid a great job. Very clean lines, gave thorough instructions and was all around very pleasant! Definitely recommend this shop.

Overall had a great experience and now Jules is my go to guy! Gave him some complex ideas that I’ve had in mind (I have no drawing capabilities so I was scared no one was going to be able to help me get my ideas turned into art) but Jules came to the rescue and even threw in his own ideas which I really loved! I don’t do reviews very often, but I want to say that Marc at this shop was amazing. He is a very talented artist and probably my favorite one now! Of all the tattoos that I have, I would say, he is it guys! 2 days later and I feel this one is healing better than any other. For me there is usually discomfort afterwards and with this one I barely have any. I am very impressed! Marc is also a Great conversationalist. I mean not many people could handle hours with 6 Minnesota Karen’s! Hell some of us can’t even do it! But he did it and did it well! He was very patient and even did a couple extra little ones for 2 of us! I will definitely be getting another tattoo from Marc in the future, even if it means another cross country trip! Unless, Marc thinks to himself I’d just love to move to Minnesota and eat all the tip of the tator I can! 🤔😉 anyway, I highly recommend Marc at this shop. You won’t be disappointed with him!

This place is great! Nic has done my 18 yr olds first tattoo, a half sleeve for me, and working on a half sleeve for my husband!! I could not be happier with Nic and his work! Ive been here before and Jesse is great as well! Each time has been a great experience! Atmosphere is pleasant and professional! Would definitely recommend any of them!

I had been looking all day for someone to tat my son up with a simple cross on his finger. With him being 17 everyone said NO, I called Empire and they did not hesitate. They got us in and out in no time and the tat was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making my son’s day the 4 hour drive was worth it!!

I am exceptionally pleased with the work Danny was able to do. This was my very first tattoo, and I decided to get it on my ribs. Despite all my squirming and twitching from the pain, Danny was very patient with me and was able to make it look really good. 10/10 recommend.

I just got my first tattoo by Jesse and he talked to me the whole time, he asked if i needed a break, or if I was in pain. He was not heavyhanded and his work is amazing and I will return if I want anymore work done. They are so sanitary . I had a 8 hours long sesh with Cory(Mr. Blankets) and went great, I had sent in a picture of what I wanted and how I wanted to change it and by the time I showed up he already had it laid out basically ready to go and listened to what I wanted.

Charlie was very professional and helpful. I was estimated $120-$150 but ended up having to pay $200 in the end when he went a little off course on my tattoo with more shading than I wanted. But it looks fantastic! I would definitely recommend them.

First impressions of the place.. really really clean.. I mean we’re talking spotless. The guy at the front looked at my ID (I’m horrible about remembering names but you’re awesome if you’re reading this). Really chill environment, I met Nic. He was finishing up a client when I walked in which is 10000% okay, I came in early lol. Nic and I clicked instantly. I saw his studio area (everything’s open which is cool cause you don’t feel restricted and claustrophobic). He was super quick on getting the placement and stencil. He placed it PERFECTLY. The tattoo took 2 hours, hurt like a mother trucker too in some spots. He was very understanding and so chill, we joked. I honestly loved talking to Nic and his apprentice. Very very amazing people. Nic is EXTREMELY talented. He delivered what I wanted and more in the tattoo that I got. This tattoo is symbolic to me.. and he just perfected it. On the car ride home I almost cried because he just did it exactly how I wanted it to. I definitely recommend Nic, or any other artist in this tattoo studio. They all have talent. I got to experience Nic, and he’s.. wow. This was my first tattoo, and he gave me such an amazing experience. Thank you Nic for giving me a piece of love and sentimental value to carry around with me until the rest of my days :).

Cassidy has done several of my tattoos. They have held up beautifully over the years. I now live on the other side of the country and would travel to get inked by him again.

Better artists, more professionalism. owner says Im cheap because I requested a partial refund due to his rookie mistakes on his line work. ie; going outside of the lines, lines overlapping, poor judgement and being late to the appointment. when confronted, he says Im cheap, and his overlapping was on purpose (when clearly it wasnt), says that the lines outside the tattoo arent his lines (which clearly they are) my requests were ignored, biggest regret. He also bad mouthed Nic right in front of a customer (me) to his other co workers.. not to mention I had to wait almost 2 hours for him and he was late to the appointment which he also tried to deny but can clearly see in my screenshot he was late. all around bad experience. dont waste your money, anyone can print a image from a app, and trace it. Find a real tattoo artist.You had the same pictures for days in your messages. So I never changed anything last minute. I asked for two elephants, specifically for my daughter and I and you drew one tried to say youll add it later which made no sense at all.Bottom line, You provide a business, and your line work was poor. Period. As a business owner you dont tell your customer nothings wrong, just cause youre in denial. Hopefully your employees find someone better to work for. No one deserves to be talked about behind their back either.

This Tattoo shop is the best Ive been to! Lawrie did my tattoo of my 4 month old sons hand and foot print along with his name and DOB. His script is flawless and absolutely beautiful and the prints look like I could be touching my sons little hand and foot. Torri at Empire tattoo is on point. I called ahead for a walk in availability because my original plan for a tattoo fell through so I call Empire up the told me that could definitely help me out. I came in 6:30ish and she had my tattoo done within an hour. It was a simple design but she took care of me. Ill definitely come back again to get more ink done. Great shop with some really great, amazing people working there.

My artist did not show up for an appointment we made and texted me an hour after the scheduled time. I get that life happens but it was really unprofessional. At least contact the shop so they can relay what happened. I gave 2 stars instead of one because at least effort was made to contact him by staff at the shop.

Torri Lauterbach has done two custom pieces for me and gone above and beyond each time. She’s taken the ideas I’ve had and made them more beautiful and creative than I ever envisioned. I’m VERY twitchy when getting tattooed, but Torri handles it like a champ and the linework is still absolutely perfect. Super clean and professional environment and a fun person to spend a few hours with! Love how unique and beautiful all of her pieces are. Totally recommend!
