Got an amazing tattoo from Marc at Hot Rod and he did a BEYOND amazing job. Totally exceeded my expectations. I expected it to be great and Marc blew it out of the water. Would recommend to anybody wanting a quality tattoo. 100/10. Can’t say enough good things, truly.

I seriously could not be happier with the work I had done by Devin! He is amazing! Not only did he make me feel super comfortable and work with me on the designs, he did an amazing job and was even open to me making a couple very small changes that turned out beautifully. I had no idea that tattoos werent always supposed to be soo unbearably painful. Wish I would have found this shop and him before sooner. Would have saved myself a ton of pain, time and money.One tat was a cover up of a memorial tat I had done after my dad passed. I thought it was pretty much beyond repair or even a cover up and he covered it so well and its so beautiful that I cant wait to show it off any chance I get. The other was a tiny cover up that I also wanted a lot more added to. Again he completely blew me away with how beautiful it is and how amazing he is to work with. It took me 4 years to get up the courage to get these tats fixed and I couldnt have asked for anyone better than Devin. The pics do NOT do them justice!

It was my first time going to a tattoo/piercing parlor to get piercings so I thought everything was great. But I kept having issues with my piercings, like backing coming off, too tight jewelry, and so on.So I went to a different place to get their help and I wish I went to them frist. The other place I went to walked me through everything, the healing, the jewelry, the treatment, what to do if infection, and more.They even offered me products to help with healing and if I didnt want to get it from them then where to get it.Overall I do not recommend for piercings.

I got a custom tattoo that I really wanted by Devin. He was very professional, clean and made my experience so comfortable and easy going. I can’t even complain that my tattoo didn’t come out the exact way the picture was, because he went above and beyond and it’s honestly better than the picture. I will definitely be going back to get more tattoo’s from him. 100% worth it.

I went in and got my 2nd lobe pierced yesterday, and Im very happy with it. I went in wanting 3 or 4, but Patrick took the time to examine my ear and let me know I didnt have enough lobe for that many, which now that I have my plugs back in, I can see and feel. He made sure they were straight and even, and it didnt hurt at all. Highly recommend.

Got my first piercing here after being turned away at another place and it came out amazing! We got there a little late since they stop taking walk in piercings after 6 but Patrick was so kind and turned around for my piercing. I got just a side lip piercing done and they walked me through the whole process which helped me lessen my anxiety. Would totally come back here!

Patrick did an amazing job on my double nostril piercings today! My nose is crooked from being broken a handful of times & he told me that & I honestly dont think anyone else could have done better! GREAT GUY! VERY friendly & informative since I havent had a piercing in 15 + years & Ill DEFINITELY go back to him at Hot Rod Tattoo! 10 stars for Patrick!

My wife and I got both our nipples pierced as well as our daughter getting her eyebrow pierced.The piercing gentleman was professional, clean, and efficient. It was my first piercing ever and I almost passed out which was weird cause it didnt hurt. Nevertheless he was very attentive and had already anticipated this. He helped me lay down for a bit, then he gave me a soda, and chat with me for a bit. I felt much better after that. The wife and daughter had no problems at all. Also, we watched him sterilize his equipment between uses.I also talked to the tattoo artist there and he was really nice as well. I didnt get anything done but I thought Id mention this as a bonus.If you guys read this thanks for being awesome. 😎

My experience here was great! I had great customer service and handling when it came to my piercings. Everything was well explain when it came to my aftercare of my piercing. I’m very great-full for the staff who helped me and talked me through my piercing. Also the vibes here were immaculate!!

Brought my girl here to get her a hoop for her nose since it had been a minute since she had pierced it. The man who put the new hoop in was nice at first but he never discussed price for a jewelry change nor did he give my girl a final price at the counter. He took her card information and then told us we were free to leave no receipt nothing. We then seen said charge and went back inside not to ask for a refund because we were satisfied with our service we just wanted a break down of the price. Then the man who had put the hoop in for her had started throwing money down on the counter after we had told him repeatedly that we didn’t want a refund and that we just wanted a break down and then proceeded to tell us we were unhappy and wanted one. I’m still confused to this day why the man threw money at us.

Devin was very easy to work with! He took our design and made it perfect for us! Great work and done quickly.

I have been tattooed by Patrick and Devin they were both amazing and I love all the tattoos Ive gotten by them. Their black and grey work is amazing. They make the experience so fun and they are amazing to work with. They turned all my ideas into something even better than I expected. My tattoos still look amazing and they all healed really well. I even had a tattoo from another shop that I wanted to add onto, and Patrick fixed the tattoo I already had and added on beautiful work to it and I love it now. I recommend both Devin and Patrick. Devin even touched up a tattoo they had done for me a year and a half later for free. (It was on my foot where it bends. It faded because of placement not because of their work. I asked for that placement too). Highly recommend! I have four tattoos from this shop and was never disappointed. And besides the tattoo Patrick fixed, theyre all from this shop. Theyre amazing. If you have ideas but not an exact design, they will turn your ideas into amazing tattoos. Very creative, and great environment.planning on coming back when I move back from Hawaii

I have very mixed feeling about this shop. I went in a few days ago to get my lip pierced. At first I absolutely loved my piercing, very quickly my lip went completely numb. I had consulted with another shop today and he immediately asked me to take it out. He informed me that it was not pierced in the correct spot and was crooked. It was very red and irritated even with cleaning it as recommended. There was a few comments while joking with his apprentice about him wanting to stab some guy in the eye. I do not believe that he checked my paperwork to see if I was allergic to anything (I am not) but it does seem like a safety concern if someone was and it did not get checked.

This place is now my new go to for piercings. I got my tongue pierced and I had a great experience. It was so quick and professional. I really recommend heading over for any piercing and tattoo needs!

I have gotten numerous tattoos from this shop. Devin is by far one of the best tattoo artists I have had the pleasure of getting tattooed by. He has tattooed well over 30 of my friends as well. Not one of them being disappointed in the outcome. Many have gone back for more tattoos since meeting him. Patrick is a class act. A genuine great person and always looks out for his customers. 10 out of 10 recommend for anyone wanting high quality work by professional artists.

Got my septum pierced and it was completely painless. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend. I have never had a professional piercing and I will be going back after this one heals. The walk in option is wonderful seeing as most places make you have appointments. Thanks again

My best friend and I came in to get a tattoo together to celebrate her moving here to Colorado and we could no be happier!Patrick was our artist and we absolutely loved the level of professionalism and humor! Patrick was very professional. I wanted a piercing while visiting my son. He took his time and explained to me every question I asked. It took a hot sec and it was over. I sat for a few minutes because I got light-headed but he told me to take my time. I loved that about him. Going back in the morning for another piercing. Awesome clean shop and very courteous!

Visiting from California, got my nose pierced and it was an amazing experience. I’ve had many piercings from other places but the guys working here are so friendly and welcoming. Great reviews for tattoos but not so great for piercings. Patrick seemed agitated that we were there as walk-ins, even though we called and was told walk-ins are welcome after 1pm. We showed up with him being rude and then a women who seemed to be his significant other showed up looking us up and down like she had a problem with us. I dont understand, you made $200+ in under half an hour and this is how you treat customers. I do not recommed piercings from patrick.

Patrick and his team are great, straight to the point and very professional, they dont waste your time like half the shops around town.Devin did most of my tattoos and he is very skilled and clean, never have i worried about any procedure i get done at hotrod, weather its something simple like a piercing or something as big as my sleeve, they will handle the task and do a great job at it, don’t hesitate in going in there. Best tattoo and piercing shop in Colorado Springs. They are reasonably priced and professional about all work they do. Their piercer is the only person I trust with my needs. He provides quality guidance for healing and is always helpful when I need to switch out jewelry. All his piercing have healed with no issues unlike the other shops in COS. Would recommend to anyone and all my friends. I will definitely be returning.

Let me start off by saying these men here at Hot Rod will forever be my number one for piercing and tattoo!!!! I went to other shops to get my tongue re-done and ALL the other shops told me no my tongue was too little,I came in and they really did it perfect and didnt turn me away...amazing! The biggest reason they are my favorite is they did a tattoo for me that my mom drew before she died. She was never able to give it to me before she past. I came in with the picture and now I have her art on me. They will forever be my go to. They are clean and professional with a great sense of humor. My mom was a tattoo artist and couldnt have picked better guys to work on her little girls. Check them out they are amazing:)Had another amazing experience today with Devon Sherman, he captured what I wanted better then what I could find on the web. So friendly!! I got two second holes done in my ears by Patrick. He was professional, took his time to make sure everything was right and I was happy wit him placement, and everything seemed cleaned and good. He was also very considerate when I told him I tend to get lightheaded with piercing, which I really appreciate, I’d definitely recommend:)

Had gotten a septum piercing here and it was terrible. The piercing wasn’t straight at all. The man that did it was not friendly or welcoming. I had it done about a year ago and took it out soon after. I’m writing this now because I went to go get my septum repierced by my normal person and she mentioned when trying to pierce my septum the needle kept trying to go into the old hole and it was crooked and didn’t line up. Due to the scar tissue I couldn’t get my septum repierced. Don’t go here… go to someone that knows what they are doing and is nice about everything.

The piercer Patrick here is absolutely rude. Doesn’t make you feel welcome or comfortable at all. Has the rudest tone in his voice. Even on the phone he was very short and rude. Although he knows how to pierce, he doesn’t make the experience good at all. Told me to come in for an appointment and then tells me there’s no slots and takes people in before me. The day I came in for the piercing he came off so forceful I don’t recommend this place if you want good customer service.And yes, I did have an “appointment”. You told me to come in at 3 ;)

Great experience!!!! Refuse to go somewhere that only charges $10 for a piercing just because I believe you get what you pay for!! I had my belly button pierced 2 weeks ago and it looks great and healing amazing!! The guy who did my piecing knew what he was doing and Did such a great job making sure it was perfectly aligned and it honestly didn’t hurt one bit.!! Definitely recommend them to people who appreciate quality !!

I was in an unfamiliar area and had a ball come out on an existing piece of jewelry. I looked up some local shops and found this one. I read a couple reviews and they seemed okay, so I gave them a call and they were able to help me. I went in and it was a very clean environment and someone asked me how they could help right away. While all of this was very nice, the unprofessionalism of their piercer, Patrick, outweighed the good aspects of the shop. He was rude from the get go, and threw away my jewelry even though I repeatedly requested to take it with me as it held significant sentimental value. He called my jewelry cheap (after saying he could get a ring for $0.33), and my piercer of 6 years a con artist. He did have some good points about cleaning jewelry regularly and changing it every 3 months to stay sanitary, but I would not recommend this shop to a close friend. I am grateful for the help he did provide though.

I went to this shop for the first time for my birthday, hadnt heard of them previously. I spoke to Andy on the phone, he was super friendly and told me I could come in whenever, that they would be closing around the time I wanted to come in but would wait for me which I thought was really cool. Andy pierced my nose and he was awesome! Fun to talk to, the piercing was quick and easy. I would recommend going here to anyone! Thanks guys!

Very professional, clean and quick. We got a helix and two belly button piercings and each one was very easy. Patrick was great!

Patrick was amazing and very knowledgeable. I was worried about scarred tissue since it was my fourth time piercing my tongue but he reassured me that it would be ok. He made me very comfortable and did an awesome job. He also helped my friend out with a piercing that she had done somewhere else and it wasn’t healing because the other piercer didn’t know what the hell he was doing. I dont remember the last time I was motivated to leave a review anywhere, buy I got my tongue split a month ago or so with Rod and oh my god the results couldnt have been any better. My expectations were far exceeded and I wish I found his shop sooner. Staff was beautiful and extremely helpful, everybody had such colourful personalities, the pricing was cheap and the procedure as well as the healing process was lightning quick.

I came in about four days ago to get my nips pierced. The shop was super clean very professional and very attentive. I was really scared about getting them done but Patrick was great with calming me down and getting it done super quick. I am a lil nervous that the jewelry is a lil small but I’ll call and find out. Other then that I’m super pleased and will be going here Anytime I want Piercings or tattoos thank you Guys.

I went in for a couple of lip piercings and the staff were very friendly and understanding since I was having a rough day and have Tourette’s syndrome. Patrick was my piercer and he respected me when I needed a bit of space when it got hard to control my tics during the piercing and even gave me some good advice about it. During the piercings I had all of my questions answered and got more information. Patrick explained what he was going to do throughout the entire process, which helped my anxiety about it calm considerably. Thank you for having such an understanding and helpful staff.

Hands down the best!!! Clint does amazing work, line work is super clean, shading is unbelievable, I get comments all the time on how good his work is. I have been to multiple shops in town and Hot Rod Tattoo is the only place I will continue to spend my money at. Clint has done a cover up, my chest and shoulder, and we are working on a sleeve. Only shop i would recommend! They have awesome staff, and make you feel like family!!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite tattoo shop in Colorado Springs! The piercer Andy is very professional clean station on time with his piercings and he makes it a very quick and painless procedure every time I go to see him Pat is very very talented and a very amazing artist I trust him to put my dreams to reality in every single one of my tattoos and Devon is an awesome hard-working artist who is equally as talented as Devon I will go nowhere else for my tattoo and piercing needs! When it comes to Hot Rod tattoos, I cant think of anything bad to say. The atmosphere, the art work, the people there are all great. Devin Sherman has done all of my tattoos except one, the first one I ever got from another Colorado springs shop, which I plan on getting covered up by Devin. I have spent a lot of time in this shop whether Im getting tattoos or my wife or friends are. I consider Devin a friend, and he is a great tattoo artist, as well as the other guys there. I live in North Carolina now and would rather fly to Colorado springs to get a tattoo by Devin than try to find an artist here. He has a vision that works every single time. His art work is second to none.

The best tattoo experience Ive ever gotten is from yalls shop, Devin is a solid artist(did all mine ive gotten here in Colorado) and an overall great person. The environment is a great environment with great quality and frankly if it wasnt for time and my new truck Id be in there more

Went to Devin for my Joker/Harley Quinn piece and he did amazing, beyond my expectations ! He was fast and efficient. Patrick did my rose on my stomach and although its been almost a full year it still looks bright and colorful.Would recommend to anyone in Colorado Springs/Colorado in general. I was recommended by a close friend that had got work done by Devin. Needed a new tattoo guy since mine relocated and I loved what he did on her arm. He was very fast but detailed in my tattoo. Reasonable price and friendly. I will definitely be returning to get more work done from Devin.

I called to get my nose pierced and I needed an earlier time. Andy was helpful and said he could squeeze me in earlier. I’ve had my nostril done once and I had to get it redone after my jewelry fell out years ago. I decided to get it redone today and it was painless. He is quick and precise and helped me decide where to place it as my previous one was waaaay far back. Highly recommend him!

The guys here were great, very friendly and very kind. I blacked out after my piercing and they treated me so kindly and didnt make me feel embarrassed about it and they treated me with such kindness and professionalism it was a great experience. I also saw a huge focus on cleanliness and sanitation that it really put me at ease. I highly recommend this place.

I got my daith piercing done a month ago and havent had a migraine since.I went back in to get my nipples pierced.He was so professional and made me feel comfortable. Very happy with the outcome.

I had a piercing that was bothering me that I did myself with a thumbtack in high school. I called them to ask what kind of doctor I should go to because it was bothering me. These guys made time for me just before closing to check out my ear. I was extremely grateful and they were extremely professional I even tried to tip them and they refused my tip so here I am leaving an excellent review.

I have had 7 of my 8 tattoos done here i got them done 10 years ago and I am planning on getting one more before I go back to Pennsylvania. They are clean respectful and good people. I will always send people to them.

My wife and I have been in several times. Mostly for their vape shop, but my wife also got her nappies pierced here. They have always been super informative and chill about everything. We went there to get better ecigs, and they gave us a run down of all the tanks and batteries and what to expect. They also helped us with the initial set up and everything. Theyre always super helpful. Went back when my wife needed to change out her piercings and they did it free of charge! Hoping to get a new tattoo done soon, and plan on sticking with them on anything ecig related!!! Great people all around.

This place is awesome!! Not only did they get me in and out super quick but the daith piercings are amazing! After suffering from a migraine for a week straight and going to urgent care to get a pain relief shot and even that not working the relief I got from doing both sides of the daith is incomparable. Bad review rant!!I went over the weekend to get my septum pierced. The guy that did it pierced through the cartilage rather than where it’s supposed to be. It was horrifically painful, and, for a guy that has “25 years of experience”, he got mine unbelievable crooked!Because of the incorrect placement, I’ve continued to be under so much pain! My upper lip hurts to move even slightly, and I couldn’t wait for the shop to open on a Tuesday. I went down to Pens and Needles downtown, and they took very good care of me! Took out the piercing, told me the recommended time frame to let it heal, and then to go back to them for a repierce!Moral of the long rant, if you need a piercing, DO NOT GO TO HOT ROD TATTOO!!!

I have gotten 5 tattoos at hotrod, and my husband has gotten a full sleeve and 3 other tattoos from there, we would never consider going anywhere else in the springs. Although all there artists are great, Devin has always done all our tattoos and did a phenomenal job at that. The establishment is clean, professional, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo in Colorado Springs.

I can only speak on the piercings here. Both my husband and I had awful experiences here. I had my tragus done, it ended up crooked. My husband had his septum done, twice. The first time, he did it crooked as well. He decided he would try again, the same day. Not a good idea. It still wasnt straight. We ended up taking both out and going somewhere else to get them done correctly.

Great Experience. Had my septum piercing changed out, Patrick took great care and made sure everything was done right. Clean shop, fair prices, and super friendly staff!!

10/10 recommend. Patrick was soo friendly, professional, and he knew what he was doing. I got a belly button pierce and I love it. Will definitely go back for my ears, and a nose ring.

I visited this morning had another Tattoo done with Devin he is the most light handed artist i have ever had, this is my second tattoo in a 2wk time frame with Devin, he makes it a pleasurable experience i will def be back i just wish i knew of him prior to getting my other tattoos done at various shops in the spgs, his last tattoo was of a thin blue line he made it his own and that tattoo is viewable on Fountain police dept Facebook pages i will recommended him to everyone. Clint did an excellent job on my original armpiece after processing with him what idea I had he went to work and whipped me up something amazing that I am pleased with. I am not from Colorado but when I go outta state I get a tattoo with something that reflects the trip and he definately gave me that...a lifetime memory. My mom also had some work done there for the trip but Seth did this and he also did a great job...even though they gave her a hard time as it was a typical girl tattoo but they all made us welcomed and rocked out while we were there. Prices were right and accommodating to us as walkins. I would reccommend these artist. Thanks guys!

Nope Not a good piercing experience! Navel piercing was NOT done correctly. After a couple of weeks consulted with a different professional piercer who recommended I take it out immediately. Very unfriendly and dirty shop!! Go anywhere else!

I did not receive any service from them so this review is not about the service i received. This review is pertaining to the custom service I received. The male individual who picked up my call was extremely dismissive and unwilling to listen to my concern about a simple question. I was just trying confirm that they had the tongue jewlery that I needed and he was extremely unprofessional. So much so that I did not even want to spend my money with them.

I just stopped at this great shop for a minor piercing issue and the staff was easy to talk to and extremely helpful! Definitely check it out!

Patrick was so professional, friendly, & communicative. I absolutely love my piercings! Definitely will be back.

Recently got my septum piercing done at a different tattoo and piercing place, they didn’t put my balls on my ring properly and I lost one. Went to see Andy at this place and he replaced my ball free of charge. Will definitely be seeing him in the future for more piercings and to get my tattoo touched up.

At 1st I wasnt thrilled because I didnt get that welcomed approach. The owner did my daughters naval piercing & was super delicate & professional. He answered all my questions even 2 weeks after. He said only use antibacterial soap, wash twice daily. She has done just that & has yet to get any Marks, redness pain etc.. very very little crust. Shes a gymnast & was in gym following week. She listens to her body. Shes Super happy.Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

Went in to get my septum pierced and almost chickened out,but Ryan made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease so I just closed my eyes and let it happen-and guess what-didnt feel a thing! My daughter got her belly button pierced and..didnt feel a thing!Afterwards he gave thorough aftercare instructions.chill people and atmosphere.

Went in to get a piercing. Patric, while quite, reserved, and professional, got us set up quickly, everything was clean. The piercing was done quickly, 15 minutes in and out. Also absolutely no pain what do ever.

Ive had 2 different pieces done here. A full chest piece, and a cover up. The cover up looks like an original, you cant even tell its a cover up. They listened and put everything I wanted to into he chest piece. Clint does amazing work. 10/10 would recommend to anybody and will 100% go back for more work.

If youre looking as to getting a piercing here, avoid it. I came to this shop due to the overall good reviews I had seen, was very let down. I came in to this shop to get a daith piercing in December 2016. After a very long process in the shop which I surely didnt leave happily with, I finally look at my piercing when I get home to see my rook area was completely sliced and continuously bleeding. When I did come in for a daith piercing. Although I do understand mistakes do happen, but as I was in the shop getting this piercing done he clearly saw what he had done when he held a paper towel on my ear as it wouldnt stop bleeding and thats when something should have been said. Instead I find out on my own. After a little over a month I finally seek help from a different shop who was willing to help me as my piercing was having many issues. Not only was the angle of my piercing very crooked, the jewelry was said to be cheep, as well as extremely small. The rook part of my ear has now healed into two parts leaving a split in my rook. I was advised to take it out all together and to get it re-done, correctly. Although I would never recommend or go back myself I do appreciate what seemed to be a cleanly place, as well as some cool tattoos, Id just suggest to not get piercings done here.

Called and they said they would be open for walk-ins til 6pm. I get there and the sign said out to lunch and door was locked. Waited for 25 mins and still not open. Called the number on their out to lunch sign twice with no answer. Why put your # there if you dont intend to answer the phone? 🙄

Got a septum done today with Patrick. It was very quick and didn’t hurt. Patrick’s tone of voice can come off as snappy but he knew what he was doing. My only issue was when I called Monday I was told $50 (not Patrick on the call) and then today was told they charge $60. Patrick said the person at the studio unfortunately told me the wrong price.

Got a tattoo by Clinton last Dec. His portfolio was great so I hit him up. Maybe he had an off night or maybe he was totally stoned but he rushed through and jacked up a relatively simple tattoo on me which Ive since had redone. Worst tattoo Ive ever had and the best part is after one hour of work this clown charged me $250.Dont go to Hot Rodz unless you like rolling the dice.

It’s rare you see the level of kindness and patience these men showed me. I suffered from itchy keloids due to being hit in the ear as a semipro kickboxer and they stamped all the scar tissue out and left me with some beautiful stones in the place of the scars highly recommend these guys

I had a huge piece done on my chest that went to my back and than on to my left arm. My tatto that was done by seth was truly done amazingly. It was the best price i could find and i wasnt pressured to do something i didnt want and he made it my favorite tattoo on my whole body. I love these guys and am a loyal client to them now. Walked in, waited for 3 minutes while there were 2 people sitting on their phone who only acknowledged me with a glance, then went back to their phones. Only one client receiving a tattoo at the time, so it wasnt at all busy. I walked out and will not be returning due to this lack of professionalism and courtesy.

Walked in with my friend to get a couple quick and easy tattoos and the guy working was so incredibly rude and aggressive we left. There’s no art on the walls and no jewelry in the cases just vapes. I’d assume the vapes are better than the tattoos

Just from a phone call the staff seemed very rude. Wouldnt answer any of my questions and kept saying I needed to come in for a consolation. When asked what would be discussed during the consultation they just said I needed to come in. None of my questions were answered over the phone and the person I was speaking with was getting very short with me for just asking questions. I didnt go in for the consultation solely on the fact that the person was rude and if they couldnt answer questions over the phone, they probably would never answer them in person.

Cool tattoo shop, vape shop is small with no testers, they only purchase juice with 0 nicotine and they add the nicotine themselves, bought a 30ml of Slotterpops, FOUND TWO FLOATERS in it, and when I asked for a refund the guy tells me there are no refunds in a very grim tone, he replaced it, but after finding something other than juice in my bottle I just wanted my refund.... By far the worst shop Ive ever been to.

I came in today looking to get a piercing with my mom and was denied immediately because i am a minor. the piercer for my mom was very rude to me because i was asking questions about the piercing i wanted and was told “this is why i dont do piercings on minors”
