I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone as interesting or as down to earth as Ozzy! I wanted my dog’s name tattooed and went into Iron Tiger a few months ago. I was so uncomfortable with the general vibe. They were douchey and made me feel like I was being too picky and/or like I was bothering them so I got up and left. Ozzy gladly took the time to look through a ton of font options with me and it was such a low stress experience. Also, his shop is super nice! I’ll be back for sure!

Ozzy did amazing! I brought 3 of my fiends in to get some tattoos and I couldn’t be happier. It by far was the best tattoo experience I’ve had so far. And his work was amazing! I will be coming back for my much bigger tattoo.

I was very nervous about getting a tattoo and I was introduced to Lee Carter at NewInked Studio. We touched base by phone and scheduled a consultation. Lee was very thorough in explaining the process to me, and providing a quote. I felt so comfortable and at ease that I scheduled my very first tattoo. Day of the tattoo, Lee was very good at explaining the process, his reaction time, and how the procedure would work. I am very pleased with his work and I was at ease the whole time. Ozzy was amazing!!! After reading reviews online and deciding which tattoo shop to pick in the Columbia Missouri area I finally settled on Newinked Tattoo shop with the artist Ozzy. All of his reviews are amazing and he immediately greeted us, he was so inviting and hospitable. It was a gift that I was getting my son for graduation. It was my sons first tattoo and he was a little nervous but Ozzy worked closely with him and made him feel so comfortable. I loved how good he was with my son! He was patient and kind and his artistic abilities are outrageous all in all he gave my son a very memorable experience. Thank you so much Ozzy. We will be back.

Got a smaller tattoo done and this is THE place to go. Ozzy is a great down to earth guy, and incredible artist, and a great business owner.

I had really high hopes for this place. I chose to get a cover up tattoo here after reading ozzy’s inspiring Instagram post about cover up tattoos. He made the appointment with me quick and easy And when I got there the studio was awesome and everyone was friendly. However the tattoo that was supposed to be covered up was still very much visible a day or two after I got the tattoo. When I let ozzy know he said he would fix it for free so I went back a month later for him to fix it. A couple days after this the old tattoo is completely visible. When I contacted ozzy about this he replied ): literally just a sad face. I would not recommend getting any cover ups done here. Maybe just new ink. The last photo is my tattoo healed.

Had such a wonderful experience working with Ozzy on my tattoo! Very professional, personable, and skilled. What more could you ask for in a tattoo artist? Columbia is most definitely lucky to have this talented artist---his work and skill are things youd typically see in the bigger cities (anywhere in Cali, for example). Highly recommend.

Came in with my girlfriend and we were both getting tattoos. Ozzy was incredibly helpful and funny through the whole process. Best tattoo experience I’ve had. He truly cares about the placement and attention to detail where other studios in Columbia just want to make as much money as possible. Incredibly good pricing and a awesome experience all around.

My wife’s father passed away last July. She designed a tattoo in his honor. The tattoo process went well. A few days after the tattoo the ink started flaking off. It eventually got to the point that some letters were completely gone. She called the shop with no answer and no return call. She finally got an email telling her to make an appointment and he would fix it. She did. She showed up and he wasn’t there. She took off work and waited an hour. She called and emailed with no response. We still have not gotten a response. She is going to have it fixed elsewhere now. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Ozzy did an amazing job with my tattoo. He absolutely brought my idea to life and made it better than I imagined. The energy was light hearted and super chill. 150% recommend him to anyone who wants a good quality tattoo and a good laugh.

Its too bad that the stars only go up to 5 because I would give this shop a 10/10. I went to 4 different shops before this one for a cover up and was told by all of them that it was impossible. Ozzy always does super quality work and will go out of his way to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. He offers advice on placement that can be informative and on my last visit drafted up several font sizes for my runic inscription to find the one that fit my arm best. Atmosphere of the shop, both visual and audio, is professional and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience at New Inked. Jon (JonBoy) Clayton did great work. It was my first tattoo in about 20 years and so much better than previous experiences. The shop is extremely clean, the people are nice and enthusiastic about their job. The prices are great too. My tattoo healed up very well and looks great. JonBoy is already working on the design for my next piece and I’m really looking forward to it.

Two out of four of my tattoos are by ozzy. i usually don’t write reviews but i felt as if ozzy really deserved the rating, he was overall amazing. i sent my latest tattoo idea very last minute and he had it ready to go for me not even 24 hours later, you go into his parlor and are automatically greeted so kindly, he makes you comfortable and carries good conversation. i highly recommend new inked studio and i’ll be continuing to get tatted there!

My mother and I came in for matching tattoos and left the studio very happy! Ozzy did our tattoos and has the lightest hands which made the process so much easier. Will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately would not recommend. I saw Lee who was extremely confident and even did a consult knowing I was going to someone new. I wanted the same vibe of the rest of my work and he said he would draw something up. When I came in for the appointment, he was extremely unprepared and had no ideas yet wouldn’t listen to mine. He recommended I pay before (so I did) and for what I paid, I got the sloppiest work and WAY overpaid for what I got. We booked out 4 hours to finish my arm but after 2 hours he was done with vine work and uninterested in doing anything else so I felt I had no choice. I am extremely disappointed as this is my first time going to someone new and feel like he could have cared less. The line also healed extremely uneven and patchy.

This is my second tattoo coming here to Lee C. and I have to say I couldnt be happier. I know coming in both tattoos were going to tricky to get covered. I did a lot of shopping around when a started my journey of getting my ink fixed. I visited many other shops, with none of them really clicking right, not having a welcoming feel to them, before I found NewInk. Even with me booking a last min consultation they got me in, talked with me about what I was looking to have done and we got the appointment step up.My first piece there was the chest piece cover up. It was a great improvement to the old one I had. Between the consultation and appointment Lee make sure to keep up to date on what he was drawing up to make sure it was on the same track to what I was thinking. To be honest it turned out better than I thought possible. With the chest being the chest, Lee made sure that I was doing okay during both sessions.My second piece was a shoulder cover up with some extra added. Once again, I dropped the ball on a last min booking for the consult and they got me in to talk about ideas. Once again Lee impressed with it abilities for bring my thoughts to life and I could be happier.Between the friendly staff, the clean environment, and the skills of the artists there Im already looking forward to getting my next tattoo with Lee there at NewInk.

Ozzy is very patient and very helpful in getting ideas to go with your tattoos. He has a very light hand, which causes less pain, detailed lines, which cause awe, and a family memeber feel to him. Great on prices too!!!

I was tattooed by jerry after calling for a walk in and he got me in as soon as i got there. super kind owner and other artists there as well. he asked me if there was anything i noticed he needed to add when he was finished which i’ve never been asked before during a tattoo and i really appreciated because it was my own art that i brought in and there for very personal and important to me. definitely going back i loved the vibe and everyone was very welcoming and kind.

This is great tattoo shop. The people that work there really cares about you and care about what your thoughts are with your tattoo. They really feel like they care for you. They are reliable and I have been their twice and this is the place I plan to go for a long time. If you want a great tattoo and great service, go to this place!!

I’ve been watching Jerry Robertss work for the past few weeks and just knew he was the man I wanted to do my brothers memorial piece. I had been looking through thousands of artists work and none of them were what I was looking for but when I seen his work I knew I had finally found the man I wanted to do this very special piece! I reserved an appointment and called to make a deposit which was cheap and he was very professional and has always got back to me in a very timely manner!!! He has very fair pricing!!! Seriously can’t wait for May 10th to finally get my brothers memorial piece!!! I just know it’s gonna be the best one yet!!! Will post pics when it’s done!!!
