Jake did my tattoo and it is so well done!! It looks so good and clean and the lines are really thin just the way I wanted it! He was so nice and the place was so clean and comfortable. I would 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Absolutely gorgeous work by Jake Bailey who went the extra mile to make sure I loved my tattoo. Excellent fine line work. I was given ample opportunity to ask questions, and was given detailed answers. I felt completely at ease with the professionalism, fun conversation, and care I received. Highly recommend.

I would recommend true heart and jake bailey 1000% as a tattoo shop and artist. He is so diverse in his skills and so reasonably priced. A lot of places in Columbia will gouge you with their prices, but jake gets the job done, is cooperative, and so easy to work with. I will strictly go to true heart for all my future tattoos. Jake did my fine line tattoo and I could not be happier. Clean shop, good vibes, 10/10 experience.

Found this shop on Goggle. Wanted a tattoo right now. Got a tattoo right now. The artist was very attentive. She drew up the design. ( I couldnt be more pleased )She placed it and we got started. Her line work is exactly what I wanted.As for the shop, its fantastic! I spoke with the owner while my artist was drawing. We had an excellent conversation about the set up of the shop.The shop is clean, bright and inviting.I will be going back in 6 ish weeks to add more to the piece.10/10 would recommend.

My experience was absolutely AMAZING. My friend and I stopped in to get matching tattoos before I move out of the country. Ariane got us in immediately as walk ins and created a tattoo we loved. It was like she read our minds. She was easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable the entire time (it was my friend’s first tattoo). Prices were also reasonable. I would 100% go back for the quality, service, prices, and atmosphere. Could not recommend enough.

Jake is an incredibly talented tattoo artist. His line work is INSANELY good and his color work always knocks my sock off! He has done all of my tattoos and I don’t plan on going to any other artist anytime soon.Personality: He is laid back, you can tell he really cares about his clients, puts a lot of work into what he does, and ultimately loves tattooing!Environment: The shop has such a good vibe too. I cannot say enough good things about this shop, and particularly the owner, Jake. He accommodated my girlfriend and I seamlessly when we came for a walk-in tattoo, and the price was more than fair. Jake does BEAUTIFUL art and made us feel at home while we were there. We’ll definitely be back!

Immediately walking in, the vibes were immaculate. the music was nice, it smelled amazing, and both tattoo artists were in the zone! i was greeted and helped immediately and whatever question i had - they were able to answer. the tattoo process was an hour or two, but amazing. the conversation was light, airy, and fun. I didnt feel like i was annoying or i was boring her. we both had a good time with the tattoo. theyre very patient and obviously love doing their job and making their clients happy!

These people are truly amazing! We had her do the names of our twin girls that were just born and the lines are clean and just beautiful! Their service is immaculate and they’re super friendly and accommodating! Love love love this place and will definitely be returning for future pieces!

I will tell you from start to finish my experience at True Heart Tattoos was TOP NOTCH! When you first walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the music is almost calming; the aesthetic is warm and welcoming; Jake is the first person you encounter, and he is calm and friendly. The art on the walls is both beautiful and conversation invoking. My tattooist Ariane was PHENOMENAL! I gave her a rrrooouuuggghhh drawing of what I wanted, built on it until she had the absolute PERFECT memorial tattoo for my big sister and best friend who passed in 2022. It was the final step in my grieving and healing journey, and I am so very thankful to her for helping me with it.Not only was her work IMPECCABLE, she was extremely talented, kind, and gentle, and she kept us laughing the entire time. All in all-10 out of 10 DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND! Go see my friends down at True Heart Tattoo in Columbia, MO. I PROMISE you, you WON’T be disappointed! 💜

Had a couple self worth reminding tattoos I wanted to get. Had a little time off today, and I was welcomed with open arms. Walked in, but of course I called to be sure they had the time first. Ariane was my artist. I had images drawn up within 20 minutes (fairly simple tattoos), and they turned out immaculately. It was an incredible experience, and I will never go anywhere else in Columbia to have my wearable art applied!!

Husband and I were walking downtown Columbia and stumbled upon this gem! Walked in and Jake was super friendly and accommodating. Place looks amazing and is clean. It’s obvious a lot of care and time has gone into this locally owned business. Definitely recommend!!

Had a great time getting tattooed by Jake yesterday. He did a traditional gorilla tattoo for me that turned out really nice: vibrant colors and bold lines. The shop itself looks great and has a lot of awesome artwork on the wall. To top it all off, Jake is a nice dude! Would recommend and will definitely be getting more work done from him!

I went here to get my first tattoo after I heard a lot of good things from a couple of friends. Sure enough, Jake was super open to my idea and willing to make all of the desires I had in my tattoo come to life. I was super specific as this tattoo means a lot to me and, again, was my first. I was super picky and he was cool about making all of the changes. I felt very comfortable here. Good conversation and good environment overall. Will come back again!

Jake, the owner, is one of the kindest tattoo artists I’ve ever worked with! After talking with him about my concept, he drew up a design that was better than I was able to imagine. After I explained to him that I had had surgery on the leg we were tattooing, he made sure to check in periodically and gave me time to get up and move around. As a woman, I felt cared for and safe! He also gave me a price estimate before the appointment and stuck to it the day-off. True Heart is a welcoming environment and perfect for walk-ins or appointments!

I was a walk-in for my first tattoo, Ariane helped me execute my dream. I initially wanted an arm band but we talked and came up with something even better. I asked for mild changes and she so ready to change things to make it perfect. Shes so easy to talk to and her input was so helpful and informative. Doing the tattoo was very comfortable. Jake retouched an old tattoo that I had and added on to it. He freehanded the add on with an idea he came up with and its absolutely gorgeous. I will forever use him for more tattoos in the future.
