Walked in after taking out some anger in the rage room across the parking lot. The owner was so friendly, helped design the perfect tattoo and took us right in luckily because we showed up in the middle of a work day. The place was super clean and such a cool environment and of course was playing great music too. Work is outstanding. My family had a great day and got some cool ink. I recommend Elysium

Went Saturday for what was initially 1 tattoo and 2 piercings. The turned into 2 tattoos on myself 2 on my wife and 2 piercings on my daughters. Clean great work reasonably priced. Marcus did the 2 piercings on my daughters and the 2 tattoos on me and Josh did the 2 on my wife. Highly recommend either one. All our lines are great as is the shading on everything. Will definitely be back very soon!!

I love this place, I’ve been here since I was 17 I am currently 23. They are very nice, and they are the best place to go to in concord to get a tattoo and piercing. Go check it out!

Me and my best friend went to get matching hibiscus flowers done. I have been excited about this for years but nervous because I haven’t had a tattoo in 15 years and we finally decided to go have it done. My best friend had been here before to get a piercing and we have known people that have gotten tattoos here before. We both walked out completely disappointed and have been literally in tears all weekend. We are stuck with this on our arms until we can have them fixed by someone else. Connor was our artist and he was a nice guy but I cannot say we would recommend him. I gave them a 2 just because the staff was very friendly. I have posted a picture of what we wanted and what we actually got.

This was my first experience getting a tattoo and it was beyond exceptional! The entire staff at Elysium Ink was very welcoming and accommodating. Isaiah (the artist) did a phenomenal job and you can tell he truly loves his work. I will highly recommend this business and Isaiah to anyone interested in getting a tattoo!

The best place Ive found in town!!! The workers are respectful and are willing to work with you to get your tattoo done however you ask for it. They give their honest opinion and will still give you what you ask for even if its not the particular artists preference, Which is great because it helps you get the tattoo as close to what you want as you can get.The owner Marcus is an awesome guy, makes you feel welcome.I met Chase and saw his work and Ive been going to him since! I like his style and shading work. He puts quality before speed. They have some really good artists here. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting a tattoo.💉

Got pierced with a friend by Marcus! I cannot express enough how amazing he was! He did an excellent job at explaining aftercare, comforted my friend and walked her through her first piercings, and was genuinely amazing! I ended up getting a brow done, which he was happy to discuss placement and let me be picky, which felt amazing as a client! We will definitely be recommending this shop! Just got my first tattoo from Conner at Elysium and ID couldnt be happier with the results. The shop is very clean and hygienic. Conner and the other employees were both professional and friendly. This was a very positive experience. I got a Sailor Jerry style butterfly on memory of my mother and the results were better than the picture I sent in. Conner is alexcellent at shading

Zay has been my artist since day one. He made my first tattoo comfortable and a great experience. He continues to provide great customer service and takes the time to make sure things are right for you! Zay has made my dream tattoos happen. Hes kind, patient, and has such a chilll personality. You wont regret getting tattooed by him.

UPDATE!!!!!!! HAS TO CHANGE MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT TO NOVEMBER AND JUST GOT MY TATTOO TODAY!!!!!!! Crystal was my artist and will be until she stops tattooing!!! She took so much time and put so much love into this piece for me because she loves what she does and she knew what it meant to me. Also we were there for several hours and got to know Mandie the lady who does the piercing there...... Shes great and has extensive knowledge about her profession. I highly recommend Crystal for a tattoo and why not have Mandie do a piercing while your there??!!!!! Have a tattoo scheduled for October with Crystal. Shes very nice and is genuinely interested in what I want my tattoo to be. Clean place which is very important. Well post an update after my tattoo.

Colton did my tattoo yesterday and Im very happy with how it turned out! I had several things that I wanted to incorporate, and Colton helped to combine them and designed 1 tattoo. He took his time and was very detailed. I trusted him with the whole process and highly recommend him! The shop was great too - loved the music and vibe. Ill be back to have him do more.

Adding to my review because Ive now used Elysium Ink two more times. Chase added a second paw print for me. And just recently had a new meaningful tattoo added by Zay. He took my very bad sketch and created a work of art!!!I was looking for a tattoo parlor for a new tattoo. Through a friend I found Chase at Elysium. He took my ink paw print and created a beautiful piece of art in my leg. Already have my next appointment to add on. Very professional and clean. All of their artists do amazing work.

Walked right in for a lobe piercing with no wait. Great prices and very clean environment. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be coming back to see Marcus again for all our piercing needs.

This place is great, nice staff. Forgot the name of the girl who did my nose but she was very nice. I have a couple of piercings so when she was explaining aftercare she mostly informed my friend and did not talk down or belittle me at all when giving the information which I very much appreciated. For the tattoo Marcus did it for me, it looks amazing and I love it. He did his best to help me and my friend relax as much as we could during the process, had a nice old conversation and was just very nice throughout the entire thing. I can’t wait for my appointment later today for the rest of the tattoos I couldn’t get done that day!

This place is great! I stopped by to have one of the guys start designing a custom piece for me. He told me it would be a few days ( it’s a pretty large detailed piece) and I just hung out talking to everyone. It was very relaxed and fun. Next thing I knew I was in the chair getting some ink! As we talked more the guys asked me about anything else I had been considering, and before I knew it he had come up with exactly what I was looking for! I love tattoos, and I am a big fan of seeing people express themselves through artwork on their bodies. That said, Im extremely hesitant when it comes to getting tattoos of my own. When I decide to commit to one, it is something that Ive been thinking about for a long time -- and it is something that has a lot of personal meaning to me. The first (and only) tattoo I had gotten was more than 20 years ago. A sunflower. Unfortunately, it had lost its sun. I wasnt quite sure how it could be fixed, but it made me sad to look at it so faded and out of shape. When I decided on the design of my second tattoo, I knew part of my trip to the shop would be asking the artist to help me fix my sunflower too. I was nervous about that because I wasnt sure what I wanted it to look like. I knew as soon as I met Chris at Elysium Ink on Saturday night that he could help me and my very sad-looking tattoo. He took one look at it and said No problem, we can get that fixed up in no time! And, he did. It is beautiful again, very happy and sunny looking as sunflowers should be. And my new tattoo, three words -- Believe, Blessed and Be Happy -- are artistically done. Im so happy I took a chance on Elysium Ink (moved from out of state and got referred to the shop by a friend). I love my new artwork and am already thinking about what my next piece will be! Chris and the crew at Elysium Ink will definitely be the first call I make when Im ready to add more artwork to my body. Thank you for a great experience!!!

10/10!!! My mom, sister, and I got a tattoo. Our artist Zero was AMAZING!! If you’re wanting a tattoo or if it’s your first time I HIGHLY recommend this place. Everyone in the shop was AWESOME! They all had very kind words and was very patient with all of us! This is our permanent place from now on.

Jenna and Marcus both are very helpful, I came here last year for a tattoo for the Halloween event and now Im getting another tattoo for Friday the 13th. Definitely will be coming back and eventually asking about getting a custom done.

Caroline pierced my bellybutton today and she did an amazing job! I was super nervous going in, but all of the staff was super kind and helpful. The environment was also very clean, which made me feel a lot better. Caroline did a great job explaining the process and after care. I had zero pain and it looks great! 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting their bellybutton pierced!

This a cool & welcoming tattoo shop. I had booked an appt & made a deposit for my first tattoo & rescheduled to a day that was more comfortable. I canceled that appointment a week in advance because I wasnt 1k% of the piece I picked out & wanted to come back in to share different ideas; & I didnt want to lose my deposit. I got told that it was okay to come back in to do that, I asked what day would be good, but I never got a response. I still would recommend them because of the accommodating staff.

My piercer was Becca and she was very kind. The ear piercings came out just how I hopped and it was nearly painless. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely come back for my future piercings. :)edit (a month later):I went back for an industrial and another helix and lobe piercing, and it was a great experience once again. I’m really happy with the quality of the jewelry and the piercings from both times I was there. Becca is so friendly and great at her job. Definitely gonna come back for more in the future 😩🦶

Zay did such a good job in my tattoo for my dog! Super professional and fun to work with. I’m definitely going to him for any future work!

My main man zay has hooked me up big time, not finished yet with my half sleeve, but he is a great artist and Ill definitely be going back for more and more from him, hes gonna finish my half sleeve for me and we are talking finishing it out into a full sleeve, Im excited and couldnt ask for a better artist.

Connor was my artist and he was absolutely amazing! The whole time he made sure I was okay and didnt need breaks. He did it quick but took his time. The other staff were also wonderful as they checked on me periodically to make sure I wasnt in need of anything. I will definitely be back to see Connor and the rest of the crew! Prices were also very reasonable!

Would give zero if I could is very rude he asked me to change my review which I did proceeds to talk very RUDELY on social media even after I changed to 5 star VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Becca did double lobes on both of my ears. I loved her as a piercer, she’s so good with communication, she’s easy to talk to, makes sure your comfortable, and she’s my favorite piercer I’ve had. I loved all 4 piercings and barely had any pain with all of them.

10/10 would highly recommend seeing Colton for any tattoos , I traveled all the way from Florida to get a tattoo done by him and he did absolutely amazing , took his time ,and was very nice the tattoo turned out amazing and I will definitely be making another trip from Florida to see Colton very soon!

The staff here was very friendly, just a few small things that would make me not come back unfortunately. The lady at the front desk was super nice! My friend and I came on Friday for the buy one get one free piercings. The placement of my piercings are wonderful! Exactly what I wanted, however the piercer I had just had an extremely hard hand. I got my 3rd and 4th helix piercing that day and let me just say it hurt!! I have a very high pain tolerance and have had 2 helix piercings before and they never hurt that bad. It also has been 5 days since I got it pierced and my whole ear is still bruised pink/blue. Of course, a little bit of bruising is normal but I have never had that happen before, especially not this bad. Again, nothing personal, the piercer was very friendly and sweet along with the other staff. The other things is I was reading a lot of reviews today and Elysium had replied to a lot saying they always discuss pricing before you even sign/step back to get your work done. This is not true, we never were told how much the piercings would be. The only price I was told was if you pick a different jewelry it would be an extra $10. Partially my fault, I definitely should have asked beforehand but just wanted to state that they don’t talk with you about that beforehand like they state in some of the responses.Needless to say, I am very happy with my piercings and they seem to be healing well but definitely hurt way more than usual and me and my friend especially paid way more than expected.Good shop! Just not for me:)

Zero tattooed my wife and I, identical tattoos. He fit us in at the last moment to make our anniversary special.

Me and my fiance came here on a whim last year to get some piercings, I got my navel and my partner got their septum. My navel went fine. My partners septum piercing was done HORRIBLY. Firstly they used plastic jewelry. In the fresh piercing. Second, they advised us to ise Bactine and Witch hazel. Both inefective and wrong for fresh piercings. Third and most importantly, they pierced my fiance in entirely the wrong spot. They went straight through the hard cartilage. My fiance could hear and feel and loud pop as it was shoved through the wrong spot. They were in lots of pain. Talk to anyone who has a septum piercing it is the LEAST painful I have ever had. It is meant to go through the SOFT thin sweet spot at the end of the cartilage. When their piercing continued to hurt for over a month we went to another piercer to look at it and he immediately knew it was in the wrong spot and said hed met at least 4 people who had come in with the same issue with their septums pierced at Elysium. After finally physically healing and mentally healing from THAT, my fiance went to another piercer today and it was done CORRECTLY. They had little pain and the pierver there was also horrified by everything we told them about Elysium. In fact, that piercer had a botched tattoo they had gotten about 4 years ago at Elysium they had since covered up, they showed us pictures it was awful the lettering was unreadable and the line work was so shakey.. After reading their reviews it seems they have a 4.9 from bullying and gaslighting anyone who posts a bad review about them. Would give 0 stars if I could etc etc. Dont go here if you want a good piercing.

Love this place! Pierced my nose and my helix here, very sanitary and Mandie ran me through all the tools she was using and cleaned everything. Love her and everyone in there! Great experience the two times Ive been, everyone is friendly and put you at ease if you have any nerves. Talk you through it the whole time and make the whole experience a good time. I have friends who have come here and loved it, never had a complication with a piercing either, great great shop

This is the best place to get your piercings! Mandie is such a great piercer, and person to work with. I’ve had a few piercings done by her now, as well as recommended and gone with many friends. I’ve never met anyone unhappy with a piercing done here. She is very to the point and keeps it real with you, but In the best way! 11/10 recommend this place. The pricing is absolutely fair with the service and overall experience you receive. I will continue to come here and tell everyone else to as well ☺️

I came in today to get my nose pierced. I received a warm friendly greeting. Everyone at the shop was so laid back and helpful. The shop was very clean and they took all necessary precautions. I actually was a walk in and left with a piercing and a tattoo. Both are super dope! If I decide to do more tattooing I will definitely be back!

I went in to get my nose pierced and was immediately welcomed just by arriving. I had Becca as my piercer and she was SO WONDERFUL. My piercer was Becca, she did an extraordinary job! I felt welcomed and she talked me through everything before starting so I was ready and prepared. The whole process was super fast! Obviously slightly painful but Becca did it quick so it didn’t stay painful.

Walked in just to check out the place and see pricing as well as to possibly make an appointment and was so happy with the experience I decided to get it done right then and there seeing as they had time for me! Mandie did my piercing wonderfully, she was so fun to be around and made me feel very comfortable!! There was another woman there who was excited for me I’m just not sure what her name is. They have very reasonable prices and my belly button piercing is healing beautifully! I would totally check this place out if I were you. :)

I had a small tattoo done by Zero @Elysium ink last month. My day had been crazy and emotional and ending up at Elysium that day was Devine imo.The staff was welcoming; Robin the manager guided me through the paperwork process while Zero and I finalized my tattoo design. The shop is clean, with an open concept. I like my tattoo- Zero did a nice job. He had a lot of vision for some future ideas we discussed. Although, I am happy with the word I had done, I would most likely chose an artist who does more work in realism. I came in having looked online at another artists work but was paired with Zero and glad it worked out! They have daily specials too and my day was ‘Word Wednesday’ so definitely check them out.

I cant speak highly enough of Marcus and Mandie! This place is easy to be in. Clean and professional and fun too. They both made my first experience very comfortable. I was highly impressed with Mandies knowledge and expertise with piercing. She really is a perfectionist! Marcus was amazing and I love my tattoos! His work is amazing. My husband is thrilled! I highly recommend Elysium for any tattoo and/or piercing. You wont be disappointed!

Mandie is amazing at what she does! She talked me through the entire process of getting my nose pierced. She made me feel so comfortable, felt like I had known her for years! Ive gotten three tattoos from Marcus and he is absolutely amazing. He worked with my ideas and I felt like he was extremely honest when it came to price. Jenna is an amazing artist as well! This place was great. I will be returning soon for more ink. My wife got her first tattoo tonight and enjoyed the experience. We also got my daughters ears pierced. Brittany did an amazing job on our ink and Mandie was wonderful with piercing. The atmosphere was not intimidating like other shops. Ive been in so many tattoo shops where it felt like you had to fit in to be worthy of ink but at Elysium it was the exact opposite. I have already referred some family members and Im looking forward to the next piece.

UPDATE: 2 years later from my original post (found below), and this is STILL the best tattoo shop around. I got a thigh tattoo (by Crystal Moore) and it turned out amazing! Everyone at this place is very talented, laid back and very friendly. They make you feel super comfortable and at home. Id give this place 10 stars if I could. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Got a tattoo today on my foot done by Connor. Let me tell you he did amazing. The tattoo is a drawing done by my daughter. She was so happy that he did the tattoo and didn’t change her design. Everyone told me how much it hurts when you get a tattoo on your foot. But Connor was amazing and it didn’t hurt. I didn’t even know he had done some of the tattoo because I didn’t even really feel it! I love how it turned out and will be back!

Absolutely loved this place. Some friends and I were out and about in Charlotte and decided we wanted to get tattooed. After several rude conversations with other parlors,.. I called into Elysium and asked about the availability for 2 walk-ins. I love this place. Mandie (The BOMB piercer) is the BEST! She is vary nice, vary clean. She talks you though everything and answers all your questions. I got my belly button pierced by Becca, and I let her know that I had a previous belly button piercing but was not given enough room to heal. She pierce me in the same exact place leaving me no healing room. I noticed that my belly button ring would soon sink into my skin because I was not given enough room. I contacted her and the manager Robin and they gave me no other explanation other than well we can take it out. But you cannot get your money back.The manager robin said “a lot of petite girls come in there and never have a problem” assuming it rejected because I was plus sized. Not to mention i have a lot of piercings and very well know how to take care of them.

Colton did my tattoo and did a great job! I already had my sons name on my left clavicle area and wanted my newborn daughter to match on my right side. They did a great job matching up the font and size from my old tat and placing it just right so everything looked even. Will definitely go back and recommend!

I was checking out tattoo shops near me and I came across this one. I spoke to someone on the phone who then gave me Zay’s number. He was very responsive and we set up a time for me to come in. I came into the shop last Thursday and met Zay, Robin, Becca and Conner. The shop was clean and Everybody inside was so nice and friendly and cared about their customers . I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and Zay took his time to listen and give me some ideas and his opinion. We came up with something and the tattoo looks great! They were reasonably priced as well. My girlfriend ended up coming in the same day and got some piercings from Becca. This was my first tattoo and Marcus couldn’t have done any better. The shop is clean, his entire crew was awesome, and his work is on point!! He set up a tv so you can watch as your tattoo is being done (if it’s on your back like mine or anywhere your not able to see it in the process) and will make sure your 100% comfortable and happy during the entire process. I got my first tattoo ever by Marcus it was a wonderful experience. They had an atmosphere that calmned any nerves I had going in and they were like a family. Got my nose pierced by Mandie last friday and she was wonderful. In fact, everybody that works there is really friendly and professional. I was pierced by Mandie earlier today and she was absolutely AMAZING! She talked me through every single step, made sure I was completely comfortable before doing anything and was as professional as could be but hilarious at the same time, she also gave me clear instructions for piercing care and told me I could call/text her if I had any questions or issues at all. Anyone wanting any type of piercing should definitely go see her, you will not regret it.

LOVE Marcus and Jenna! I have gotten 3 tattoos from them and refuse to go anywhere else. They treat you as more than just a customer and are very easy to talk to. My tattoos are based off of my struggles with mental illness and while talking to them regarding it, I never felt judged or like I was crazy. I love this place. I just got a tattoo last Saturday. This was my first tattoo and I am so glad I chose Elysium Ink. Marcus gave me my tattoo and Jenna gave my wife her first tattoo. The shop is very clean and the entire staff is very polite. While I was getting my tattoo Marcus greeted everyone as soon as they walked in the door. It has only been 5 days and I receive complements everyday on my tattoo. I got some lettering and roses done and I was on the fence with coloring in the leaves. Marcus told me that if I ever changed my mind on the color then to come back and he would do it for FREE!! Well, I changed my mind and when it heals in a couple days I will be returning to get it done. That is great customer service right there!!! I live two hours from Concord, NC, and was going to be up there for a convention. I texted them a week before asking if they could create a unique tattoo for me. Marcus(the owner) responded to my text in a timely manner, and with confidence said he could definitely do what I wanted. He communicated with me all the way up to the day of my appointment.I must say, he exceeded my expectations with an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork.My teenager also had an eyebrow piercing done by Mandie, who was exceptional, kind, and patient.They also shared their dinner with us to make sure we were not going to be on an empty stomach!!I will definitely be back for more tattoos, because Marcus at Elysium Ink is worth a two hour drive to me.

I was flying to North Carolina for my 30th birthday and I wanted to get something pierced. I researched this shop, and with the reviews, knew I had to go. My cousin and I went this past Sunday and Becca was our piercer. I told her I flew all the way from Michigan for her and I kid you not, this girl has magic hands! Just got a decent sized piece done here by Chris. He did a fantastic job and asked me to come back in 2 weeks to finish up and shade around to blend some of my existing work- on the house! This place is amazing! Super cool atmosphere, and great people. Everyone I met was super friendly and welcoming! I was visiting friends in the area, I currently live in MI. And went in for some ink, the artist that tattooed me is amazing! She has the lightest hand ever, I could not believe how awesome it turned out and out of all of my tatoos it hurt the least. I have 12 total and my foot was the worst ever, I thought Id never get anything on my other foot. Well I did and am so glad I did, she did the best job and I still cant believe it barely hurt. This place is absolutely amazing. My family and I went and got nose piercings and tattoos and they did a fantastic job. They were very nice and took their time. The nose piercings look amazing (I’ve gotten mine done 3+ times and have never been more happier) and the tattoo was so vibrant. They have amazing prices!

Mandy is awesome! She is the best piercer. My daughter and I had a nose piercing done before by another location and it never healed, just got infected.Well, my daughter tried again with the same problem. I gave up! I called Elysium and spoke to Mandy. She told me we had an allergic reaction to the metal the other business used for our piercings. She uses the best grade titanium and low and behold my daughter and I now have a permanent nose piercing. She also suggested the walgreens First Aid Antiseptic Spray to clean the piercing. It is amazing!!! It numbs the pain, cleans and prevents infection. I also loved the screw nose ring because it doesnt get caught on anything and stays. Thank you Mandy!!! Youre the best!!! Bless you & your family Always!!!

Got a tattoo here two years ago from Chris. Started coming here for piercings and I trust it 100 percent. Yesterday, Mandie did my nipple piercings and Im super pleased. Shes patient, careful, honest, funny, and easygoing. The process was quick and she was super reassuring the whole time. Five stars!!!!!

I am in customer service, and sometimes you go into a studio and are intimidated, or the artists can come off as not friendly. However, these individuals made it a super comfortable experience. By far my favorite shop around! I took my friend here a while back to get her second holes done and Mandie was so professional- and also very friendly- I just knew this is where I had to go. Today I got my philtrum and industrial done by her and I couldnt be happier with the service I received. No doubt this was my best piercing experience. I got 2 piercings and I love them. Ive followed the instructions and they seem to be healing great. Just make sure when picking earrings you ask which are upgrades and add to the price. Not a huge deal but if you go with a certain amount of money that does change the price. Friendly people, great experience!!

Came across this place after an extensive search on where to get my nose pierced. My niece and I both wanted a piercing and we lucked up because they were running a special!!!! Have been to see Tayler twice so far and she is amazing. I went in to have a tattoo fixed that was done somewhere else and was not satisfied with, and also begin the cover-up of an old tattoo. Today I went to Elysium with my best friend for the two of us to get our first tattoos. At first, the secretary informed us that they were booked for the day, but she was nice enough to ask the tattoo artists if they could squeeze us in. The sanitation, friendliness, and overall atmosphere of this place was great. As it was our first tattoos, we were extremely nervous but the artist was very comical & talked us through every step. We were both extremely happy with the tattoo itself as well ;) I will be returning here for my next tattoo and will recommend it to all of my friends!

My piercer Becca was great. It was quick clean and correct. The was extremely talented in her field. A number of people came in for piercings but she was able to handle the number of clients and still provide great service.

My teenage daughter has been wanting some cartilage piercings. I took her to Elysium Ink on July 6, 2018, and we met with Mandie. After talking about what my daughter wanted, Mandie did all 4 piercings and my daughter is thrilled. Mandie is a professional and very good at what she does, in addition to being very personable. While we were there I watched both Chris and Jenna get set up for tattoos and they used the same sanitary steps as Mandie did with the piercings. I highly recommend Elysium Ink and Piercing and I will be heading here for my next ink!

Place says it’s open on 12pm Saturday, so I went and arrived at 12pm. Sat there for 20 minutes, no one showed up, called but no one answered. Another group of people came and tried walking in and immediately left when they realized no one was there either. Waste of time.

I has a great experience! Marcus was extremely informative and patient with me when I was asking whats this whats that type questions. He answered all my answers and explained it in terms a newbie could understand. They even offered me a refreshment which was pretty awesome. This was my first tattoo and it certainly wont be my last. The worst tattoo experience Ive ever had. I originally wrote an honest review, but was bullied by the owner and his sister to amend it. At the time, I didnt want to cause any drama, but its been 2 years and every time I look at my tattoo and think about the experience I, and all my friends who were with me had, Im disgusted. The tattoo artists, besides being plain rude and inappropriate, just werent skilled. I went in with 4 people and we all got different tattoos with different designs, and ALL of them are either misshaped, to thickly drawn, or have inconsistent coloring. Whenever those friends come to visit Charlotte we all end up commiserating about our terrible experience and terrible tattoos that we got at this shop, we ALL regret it. Dont make the mistake I did and go somewhere better!

My original appointment was at four, and then my tattoo artist called me and said that they needed to push the appointment back to five because they were busy. That wasn’t a problem, and I didn’t mind waiting until five for the tattoo. however when I got there he said that it was going to be another 30-40 minutes. I decided to wait and stick around, but after about 2 1/2 hours of waiting I decided to leave. during those 2 1/2 hours the employees were taking breaks and going in and out of the building, to smoke or do other stuff. Overall, they didn’t really seem like they were in any hurry to help people. They also kept telling me that they were close to being done and finishing up, however, they still weren’t done with the tattoo that they were working on before me when I left.

Best experience I ever had! In all honesty I’ve been driving by this place for YEARS it is literally near my house but could never Bring myself to visit it because of the bright blue exterior and funny building placement I was very apprehensive. My daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced kind of last-minute so I did some online research and saw the reviews. Decided to go in for myself and check it out, got her belly button pierced and on a whim decided to get a forearm tattoo. Crystal did such an amazing job; there was very little pain at all during the tattoo itself, no redness, and day two it’s almost healed! This is my eighth tattoo so I know how the process goes and I am so happy to say I think I found my new favorite place!

This shop is awesome! Being a young female it can sometimes be uncomfortable to go into tattoo shops, but this place made me feel very comfortable. All the staff is very nice and professional. I will definitely be going there for all my tattoos and piercings in the future.

These guys and gals are legit! Walked in with the original intent to have my daughters ears pierced professionally and walked out with tats as well!First, my 9 month old daughter was going to have her ears pierced. The patience and attention to detail to ensure everything was symmetrical was beyond my expectations and the piercer (Mandie) made sure my daughter wasnt scared and took the extra time to turn this event into something fun and happy for her.Second, my husband and I had been taking about getting a tattoo together to commemorate our anniversary. After my daughter was finished, we asked if they had time to give us a simple morris code date on our chests because he was about to leave the country again for a month or more. one had to be masculine and one had to be more dainty and feminine. They said no problem and hooked us both up. The prices for the atmosphere and skill you find there are surprisingly low.We (my family) are happy to have found a place like this and will be only going here from now on for more ink.

If you have not visited here for your tattoo, I highly recommend you do and you will not be disappointed. Visited here last October for their Halloween/tattoo party and got the tat i always wanted to commemorate my 2 grandmas who passed away. A job well done! Friendly, fun and professional staff & i cannot wait until i go back again for my miscarriage tattoo that i am super excited about getting b/c i know they will do a superb job.

Today I got my first tattoo on my foot and as nervous as I was, Marcus made me feel so calm and welcomed throughout the entire process. His work is unmatched and I am in love with the results. 10/10 recommend 😊

BJ did an amazing job on my cover up. Some shops had even told me it couldnt be covered up due to how dark the original tattoo was. I am highly impressed with his art and the shop itself. Everyone is very friendly and I felt right at home. Very clean comfortable and respectful. I have a good bit of tattoos and this is definitely where Ill be bringing my business from now on.

I went today and got my nose pierced, Mandie was so informative and walked me through the process with such great detail I was completely relaxed. Everyone in the shop was so enjoyable and personable, there are so many options to what jewelry you can choose! 100% would recommend going here.

Great place to get pierced! Ive gotten 7 piercing in 3 months and they look great. My sister has gotten 5 piercings so far. We love this place! Especially Mandy and Marcus.

I went in to get a tattoo with my mom and was super excited. Based on their google reviews, I decided to give this shop a chance. Marcus was the tattoo artist who was going to do our work. Initially, he was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. But upon looking at his work via Instagram (in which he gave me while there), I wasn’t impressed. The lines, writing, pretty much everything about his work was not something I wanted on my skin. My mom felt the same way. The last thing I wanted to do was offend, but I POLITELY explained to him that I didn’t want to go forward with getting our tattoos. At that point, he got very rude and super offended. Making a scene in his own shop, which I didn’t think he would want that kind of attention. As I was being quiet while trying to communicate with him. I think his ego was hurt and it wasn’t the only time someone had said that, considering an appointment just canceled on him. They probably saw what we saw. Being a makeup artist myself, I would never conduct business that way if someone didn’t like my work. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PROFESSIONALISM ! The reviews are misleading considering most reviews were based on the piercers. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else! You won’t regret it!

They Make you Feel Right at Home as Soon as you Walk in. Connor was very personable and Made me and My Girlfriend feel like we were already married. Every Artist they have in the Shop are Talented and Down to Earth! Great Experience

I’ve gotten two tattoos from here - one from Marcus - a water color dragon my daughter drew and wanted as a gift to her. He did amazing, it turned out better than I could of imagined. (He also pierced my daughters and I noses over a year ago). Chris did my water color Phoenix which I’m still in love with.Mandie did my daughter’s henna which turned out wonderful, and pierced her tragus a few months back.My husband also has gotten tattoos here - seriously one stop shop for everything.Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Me and a few friends, along with my mom and brother all went to Mandie to get piercings. Most of which were nose and ear, we all had a good time and were as comfortable as you can be getting a piercing. Mandie was very patient and easy going, which helped a lot with my nerves. I suggest her to anybody wanting a nose/ear piercing!

I got a nose piercing here recently. They are very kind and the environment is great. I’ve never stepped into a tattoo shop, so I was nervous but they’ve got a really chill feel so I felt really comfortable. The piercing went well there was bleeding but the situation was handled. I get lightheaded easily so I asked to stay seated and that was totally ok with them. My piercing is healing well; I totally reccomend coming here.

The outside appearance should be improved.. it makes it look like a place id definitely not go to get needles put in my body.. my friend went here to get a $20 tattoo and I tagged along, and the inside looks very nice, which shocked me. She only got a heart, so its hard to say how good their work is. I looked at some pictures and it looked like good work! I definitely would recommend that they change the outside to make it more appealing, but customer service was great!

Got a tattoo from Zay today. Turned out perfect and I left almost in tears. It’s been something I’ve wanted for so long and the execution was amazing. I highly recommend getting a tattoo here, especially from Zay. super professional and nice as well.

Awesome experience here. My daughter and I each got a piercing. Atmosphere is perfect for a tattoo parlor. The staff is amazing. Only place we will go from now on. My husband and I are looking forward to getting more ink done by them.

Marcus did a piece on me and my cousin, he stayed open after hours just to make sure everything turned out perfect. I had my other tattoo done at Inklanation, and the experience I had at Elysium was 20 times better. Marcus has a super gentle hand and did an amazing job on mine and my cousins tattoos. Super nice guy and extremely talented!

Was nervous about finding a new shop and artist since moving to the area. And I can finally say I found one! Marcus is super easy to sit for and the shop has great vibes and everyone’s super friendly and professional. Already have appointments in the books

I took my daughter for her daith and nose piercing. Mandie did these . She is great. She is very thorough in her process and explanation. She tells you exactly what she is going to do and how. She makes you feel at ease and we enjoyed our experience .* The ball on the end of my daughter’s daith piercing came off and we couldn’t get it back on and she even met us at the shop when it was closed for renovations to get it back on for us. *I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for a piercing except Mandie.

Jenna was great!! She did the first tattoo for me and my husband and we love them! She was so patient with me as it was my first and I have a huge fear of needles. We are so thankful we chose Elysium Ink and will happily refer them to anyone who is looking to have some work done!

Staff was very attentive and personable. They were completely professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire session. Excellent artists. I love my tattoo and will be going back to see them in the near future.

Went in today for my first tattoo. My artist, Zay, was very helpful in trying to help me find what I wanted and giving me ideas for the tattoo. He came up with an amazing idea that turned out amazing! I definitely will be coming back again.

This is the greatest place from Rowan county to Cabarrus. Fantastic people. Great atmosphere. Best music. I felt so welcome. My boyfriend got his first tattoo here and they were fantastic.
