I absolutely love coming to this shop. It makes me so comfortable being there with the artists. Everyone has such an amazing energy and are just the kindest. I had already gotten 4 tattoos there, so I was really comfortable getting my first large tattoo with them.I wanted a large moth on my upper thigh, and worked with Sam on a piece she has created. She listened to what I wanted as well as matched the color scheme already in place with my other tattoos.She absolutely delivered exactly what I was looking for with her own twist and I am so very much in love with my tattoo.I sat for about 4.5 hours; the longest I have ever sat. Sam checked in with me frequently to ensure I was doing ok. She helped keep my mind busy with fun and friendly banter.Her design, execution, and care is exactly what you want in a tattoo artist. I highly recommend working with Sam. I cannot wait to do the other thigh with her.

Sterling Tattoo Club is a clean, reputable, and welcoming tattoo shop. Everyone is kind, talented, & professional while still being human. I’ve been twice & received 3 tattoos from the one & only Sam!! As a cis pan woman who has only ever gone to male tattoo artists, I didn’t realize before meeting Sam that I could feel so comfortable & confident going to her to collaborate on my next piece. She’s flexible, open & honest, understanding of different bodies & anatomy, as well as creative and consistently talented. I’ve already told her she’s going to do my sleeves!! Her comedic, causal conversational styles allow room for you to be comfortable as her client, whether that’s in conversation, silence, or creative contemplation. When I think of Sterling Tattoo Club, I think of it as my tattoo shop, the one I choose to frequent; same concept applies when it comes to Sam. I think of Sam as my tattoo artist, the one I will choose to continue to go and see for all of my pieces. You won’t be disappointed going to see anyone at Sterling Tattoo Club, but you will be planning your next tattoo in the middle of your session with Sam!!

The best vibes! Everyone is so welcoming and kind, incredibly talented, and so supportive. And as a girls girl, I love seeing a woman be successful in what she does. Sam not only KILLS it, she’s great company while you get your tattoo! You should be allowed to give more than five stars

My first tattoo was done here, by Sam! She was awesome, made me feel very comfortable when i was clearly nervous. She was not judgmental about my reactions other then telling me im doing great for my first tat! The vibes of Sterling were great, friendly environment with great taste in music and as far as I could tell very clean!! I plan on visiting again soon!Sam will be sure to treat you good before, during, and after the job is done! great line work and though my mom wasnt thrilled…i LOVE it❤️

My wife got her first tatoo here and everyone was great, very welcoming! Sam was the artist who made her comfortable, was very personable and did a great job. Ive been back several times myself for Sam Jeff and Josh. Highly recommended. All have a wide range of skills and a great atmosphere. I bring pictures and tell them what I want and they get it perfect.Couldnt be more happy.

I had a very poor experience, everywhere from the communication, to the work, and the follow up. Ive waited a long time to post this review and think that my experience would be beneficial, both as a warning and correcting the behavior in the future, when they read this.My artist was Psy. When I initially called and asked for availability, the front desk guy was extremely unprofessional. Not a lot of enthusiasm, didnt sound like he really cared about getting customers in the door.I dropped in around 8 pm I think, and when Psy came over to talk, I showed him the reference photo and said I wanted exactly that. He said he could do it that night and all the artists pressured me into getting it right then and there. This was my first medium sized tattoo, and my second tattoo ever so I was very manipulable at the time and didnt really know what I wanted.He drew it up and presented it to me, and I didnt like it. I was afraid to say I didnt like it, so I said it didnt look much like the photo I showed him. He promised me it would look different after he did it. I gave in and made sure he was doing the right colors (all black with some yellow).We started the tattoo, and I swear, him and his coworkers took some breaks like every 15 minutes. Each time they came in, it wreaked if cigarettes AND marijuana. I figured this is just what tattoo artists do, this is what theyre like so who am I to trample on their lifestyle?I noticed that the colors were lighter than I asked for and I mentioned it, he said they get darker as it ages, I said okay.He finished, and when I really looked at it I felt immediately depressed. I hated it. I came to realize after that he used a blue-gray ink, not black like I asked. Yes, I specified this very strongly and said I wanted it exactly as pictured.The blue gray is still very light and not at all what I wanted. The design is different and I still dont like it, but I have to deal with it. I get asked offensive questions about it, like when my doctor asked me why it looked so disproportionate. This offends me obviously, and only makes me more upset about the whole process.And finally, yes I DID ask him if he could fix it on a later date, right then and there when I was paying him. He said he would gladly fix it on another day. I messaged him 2 months after receiving it, on Instagram, and he never responded. Im sure he opened my message, but he likely does not care.I have since gotten a full sleeve from a better artist and it has been life-changing. My new artist is VERY communicative and eager to hear my ideas, makes changes exactly as I want them, doesnt take smoke breaks every 15 minutes, and follows up with ME after the tattoo to see how Im doing.So, with all that said, I would not recommend this Psy guy to do your tattoo. I dont think he has the emotional bandwidth to deal with clients and if youre nervous about tattoos I would make sure this is truly what you want before its permanent, because he didnt care about messing mine up. Nor did he even provide me a saniderm, which now that I think of it, is insane for this day and age of tattooing.I would not even consider going back to have it redone if they responded to this review because I dont trust that they wouldnt commit negligence as revenge. I dont even care about the money I spent on it, as its not worth the drama to even deal with him reaching out. My new artist has agreed to fix it for me.And for what its worth, Ive a couple women say theyve had this artist and that it was a...bad experience, if youre picking up what Im putting down.Karen out.

I called a head and made my app, wasn’t even a two week waiting time or nothing. They do lots of walk In’s. Very nice artists good group, not my choice of music but the work they do is amazing.CY was my artiest and he has a very light hand so getting tattoo was not painful at all. 3rd pic is end result very happy with the end result, thank you CY

Asked for butterflies and Cy definitely delivered! The best place to get a tattoo!! i refuse to go anywhere besides here, the best work and they all are so comforting and welcoming and are extremely talented. 10/10 recommend to absolutely anybody!

My first tattoo experience was great. The artist, Zach did a great job. Explain to me how the process worked. Allowed me to take breaks if I needed Which is very important to me because I didn’t know how I was gonna go. He also did a great job with my girlfriend Highly recommend. Sterling Tattoo Club, is a shop I can happily explain as refreshing, comforting, and one of, if not the cleanest tattoo shop I’ve ever been into. I got 2 tattoos in 1 day by 2 different artists, Sam & Cy, and they were both absolutely amazing.Sam was so professional, very timely, and also fun to work with. She did the thunderbolt tattoo. Awesome hand and very meticulous, regardless if it was a small tattoo, she treated it as if it was a multiple thousand dollar sleeve. I’m there was also 4 of us getting the same tattoo and she was so happy to do so. Such a kind and pleasant person, usually tattoo artists (or at least it seems so nowadays) just treat you as a transaction, but she treated us all like humans. It was just such a great experience.Cy was also professional, fast, and has the best hand I’ve ever experienced on a tattoo artist. He did my chest tattoo and what would’ve been a 3-4 hour tattoo by anyone else, I wanna say he got it done in under 2 hours without losing any quality of work. It’s literally perfect like you can hold a ruler up to the lines and they will make the ruler seem uneven. We also shared a very similar sense of humor so it was great.I can’t wait to return to Sterling Tattoo Club. I want to get a bigger piece by Sam and have one of the other artists give me a piece. They were all so friendly and likable. I even hung around with them after and they didn’t care at all it was so inviting and great. 15/10 if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I just had this evening!! I was showed extreme professionalism from the moment we walked through the doors. My tattoo that I got was in a rather sensitive area, and I was not made to feel uncomfortable in the least!! Definitely will be returning! Zach does great work, and I highly recommend him!

Not many shops these days wanna do small tattoos or walk ins and they do both. Got us right in and were super friendly!

They do amazing tattoos at this shop. Super cool people as well and a comfortable environment to get tattooed. Cy did most of my tattoos and they all look brand new after quite some time. Seriously recommend if your anywhere in New England, haven’t seen work as good as theirs anywhere.

I found out I had siblings on my dads side when I was 9 and for 21 years, I finally found my siblings. My sister and I met for the first time in 2013. It was not the best meeting as my then 3 year old son vomited all over my sister. I for sure thought she would never come see me again.Fast forward to today. Today was my sister and my first time having a sister day. Just her and I! We called almost every single tattoo parlor in Laconia and Concord and not a single one was able or willing to do walk ins (I am an LNA and work up to 110 hours) it had already been 2 years since Id been able to see my sister and I didnt know when or if Id have another day off.Sterling was the only place that welcomed us. They did not waste our time. They were all friendly. Worked well as a team and gave my sister and I our matching tattoos. Friendly, patient and professional.Even the gentleman who was not tattooing my sister or myself joined in our conversation!Each of you participated in making this a memory I will cherish forever. It was a bonding experience for my sister and I. Her 58 and me 39 and having missed one anothers growing up together, we had a lot to make up for.Thank you all for making this day special! Thanks for allowing me to take photos of my adventure. A million hugs to Sam who tatyooed my sister and Joshua who tattooed me!!!Got to go see these guys!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Went here yesterday to get a coverup tattoo by Zach (my boyfriend recommended him to me) Zach drew up a very awesome custom tattoo- absolutely love it :) will DEFINETLY come here again- this place is awesome! staff is very nice, they wear gloves and the whole place is sanitized, they offer a couple different types of wrapping the tattoos (saniderm, etc). They also offered me numbing solution spray stuff cause my pain tolerance is practically a zero lol which made a world of difference :) (I also got my tattoo coverup near my palm which already is a painful spot) lol- overall, this place is like 10 stars if I could :) thank you so much guys!!! :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sam was my tattoo Artist this past Saturday. I got a memorial tat with my daughter Rhi. I waited a long time to get it done but Im so happy that Sam got to make it happen. Her line work is clean, I had minimal bleeding and fluid, its absolutely gorgeous. I really enjoyed talking astrology and getting inked. The entire staff is professional yet laid back. Despite amazing customer service, my tattoos were absolutely butchered. i have multiple other shops tell me the scaring and damage to my skin because of how hard my artist pushed down is irreparable, and i’ll always have elevated scars, and no amount of other work can fix it. on top of that, they’re uneven and bled under my skin, causing a blue tint surrounding them. i’m still heartbroken.

Originally gave a one star after my enitinal post. But after speaking to the owner and having him so an amazing cover up and redo my original design on my other ear I have to say Cy did amazing. Would highly recommend him

Honestly I’m pretty upset that I can’t do a 6th, perhaps a 7th star for this tattoo shop. The people that make up this shop are some of the nicest and most talented artists around. My friends and I got tattood by Sam, who did such an amazing job turning our idea into reality. 10 stars.

Ive gone here for my chest, sleeve, and face tattoos, everything is perfect! Great artists, great atmosphere, great music, and great advice! So open and accepting of everything and everyone! As long as youre not a bigot looking for bigot tats, this is the place for you!

Ive been here before and had okay experiences. A few months ago I saw a newer artist and I became worried about their attitude toward my idea. The tattoo I ended up getting has blobby and shaky lines. When I went back to get some shading corrected it was barely touched up. This past time was an all around uncomfortable experience.

Clean shop with a very welcoming atmosphere. Lots of traditional flash to choose from. Cy did amazing and honestly the best tattoo Ive gotten to date. They were able to accommodate me and my husband as walk ins and Josh did such a clean tattoo. Will be back again.

I got twin butterfly tats for my first tattoo, and Sam was wonderful! I had nice conversations with the other artists. The music they were playing was awesome and everyone was super respectful and kind. 10/10 would come back

I absolutely adore this shop and I will not go anywhere else to get work done! I’ve been working on a leg sleeve for a few months now with the incredibly talented Isaiah and I adore the work. Cy created such an inviting space that made me feel so welcome getting my first tattoo and Sam has the warmest and kindest energy. I can’t wait to see more of what Josh, one of the apprentices, draws and tattoos in the future and want to get work done by everyone there! I could not recommend this place more!!!

Booked a same day appointment with Isaiah and got a flash piece. Isaiah nailed it 10/10. The owner was tattooing another shop artist during my appointment. I got to listen to the staff all compliment each other for an hour. Wicked positive environment and phenomenal artwork. Get your tattoos here.

I had the privilege of getting two tattoos at sterling tattoo shop from an artist who is no longer there despite this I still greatly enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back to any current artist there. The fact that the reviews are blowing up right now for the business standing up for their fellow employees as well as refusing to support any form of racial discrimination makes me want to go back even more. Keep doing what you’re doing I love it!

Great shop and amazing artists i have been getting tattooed by Cy for years now and absolutely love everything he does. after seeing the recent hate one of his artists has been getting for standing up for his own personal beliefs I will now be booking my next appointment with that artist as well as sending any future clients his way.

While I have never been to this shop I will probably be making a trip in the future to get some art work done.I have to stand by a company and an artist who will not let their reputation come between right and wrong and I strongly support their views on social issues such as the new age swastika (blue lives matter flag)...Those who want to give them a poor review clearly forget that tattoos are artwork and its the artist right not to attach themselves to something they do not believe in. This is how you put art above the all mighty dollar and that is what true art is about.

If I could give Sterling Tattoo club a ten I would. They have 3 outstanding tattoo artists. Cleanliness 10 service 10 pricing 10. This is my 4th tattoo and I am extremely pleased. I have had ink done in Louisiana, Raymond, and seabrook and this place rates above them all. If you want a tattoo done right please check them out.

I ABSOLUTELY am in love w the work done at Sterling. All of the staff are kind, talented and friendly. 100% would recommend for tattoos and or piercings. Plus they all really like dogs, which was a HUGE plus.- Animal Lover 😍

Where to start? First off, this place is awesome. The moment i walked in the door i was greeted with smiles, and upbeat personalities. Came in with a custom idea, and showed them a drawing my brother did, and then told them they can add/change whatever they want to make it look even better. Zay was my artist, and i cannot begin to explain to you how comfortable he made me feel while he was setting transfer paper in the right spot, super cool and friendly at all points during my tattoo. I’ve got a few tattoos, but im intimidated by needles, so i get a little anxious. Not today, he was super understanding and made me feel right at home. Second of all, the tattoo turned out KILLER! Hands down one of my favorites that I’ve gotten. He took his time, and proved that he can pay attention to small detail! (There’s a lot of small little intricate points in the tattoo) I’m insanely happy with how it turned Out, and I’ll most definitely be back to get an appropriate flag tattoo on my body in the near future! Thank you zay, and everyone at Sterling Tattoo Club, for making me feelComfortable and invited!

Have recently gotten a tattoo by their apprentice Holly about a month ago (which she has now moved on to a new place! That I will frequent there as well 💜)As a brown indigenous person who is openly queer I felt very comfortable coming here. Great place. Friendly people. My husband went there to get touch ups done on his tattoos. They came out better then the first time. I recommend this place for anyone looking for quality tattoos and great prices. They know what they are doing and take there time. We will definitely be going back there.

Extremely rude and nasty staff that work here, that are also not very skilled at what they do. Their websites disclaimer mentions how imperfections happen due to the hand drawn nature of tattoos, but we all know its just am excuse for their poor skills. A poor attitude always leads to poor skills.

So Im not someone who does reviews, nor is bothered enough to do them. However, I gave this place a shot, brother and I finally decided what we wanted and we sought this place out. Now I have almost half my body covered with tattoos, Im not new to this. We sit down get our work done, funny no price is discussed and we finish. I ask if we can square up, he says ya, $120, Im like ok cool, you guys get a big tip. Nah... its $120 each for a letter H , that took not even 30 minutes to stencil and tattoo. Then I question him about his high prices and he argues with me about placement and such. Honestly I should have waited for my regular place of Capital City Tattoo, around the corner to do our work.

I live in a different state so I wont have the pleasure of meeting these amazing people, but I saw the post where they turned away a blue lives matter tattoo and I wish I could give them 10 stars! Keep up the good work!

I would never go to this tattoo shop not only did they refuse to tattoo anything that supports the military or police. They were completely unprofessional when we mentioned that we would like a thin blue line tattoo. You will not catch me or my friends at a place like this. I highly suggest not going in here!!

I spent an hour waiting for the artist to create a sunflower sketch (I brought in a piece of work). The artist finally started to work on me but slid forward and ran to the bathroom. At first he made it seem like he had the flu but then changed his story by saying that it was a mental illness... He had his buddy that was in the middle of a session stop and finish mine... Not only did he speed through while going deep into my arm, he didnt wash his hands... At the end of this nightmare I was told that the outline was going to cost me $100, I put my card down to grab my jacket and the artist that was working on me originally swiped my card... I had to go to another tattoo shop to get it corrected....

Never had a tattoo artist thats cares about their customers like they do. Even as I was waiting the other artists made sure I felt welcome and made sure my friend had a good first time experience.

Wonderful establishment! I really appreciate these folks and the work that they do. They’ve created an incredible environment and should be very proud of themselves. I recommend them highly!

I have gotten tattooed by the owner and his fiancé and they are both wonderful individuals who run and amazing shop. They have made this shop not only welcoming, but a safe and fun atmosphere for all.

Theyre doing great things! The only negative: theyre 1,000 miles away from me. I will consider them if I find myself in New Hampshire!

A couple of week so ago I walked in to Goodfellow Tattoo Club to see about getting an Ouroboros done around my old 82d Airborne tattoo I got from Sailor Bob, Fayetteville, NC, back in the 70s. I enjoyed the old time classic feel of Goodfellow Tattoo Club right from the start. I am 72 years old and my artist/owner is 26 but that age gap means nothing when it comes to the joy and interest of that goes with the art. Anyway, I got a classic Ouroboros Snake going for its tail to surround my old silver wings parachutist Airborne Live Free or Die tattoo and then came right back a few days later (the day before yesterday) to get a classic Black Panther complete with red scratches. Ive loved the panther since I saw my first one back in the late 50s or early 60s. There is an amulet thing about tattoos, at least for me, and I know for many other people. I appreciate that they refuse to do Blue Lives Matter tattoos. They are aware of the inept attitudes of police departments & their supporters, & the oppression they stand for. Support this shop!
