Liquid Fetish North

(The name outside is actually called ambitious tatoo.) This shop is so fantastic! The atmosphere is really inviting, theres some wood puzzles on the table, a piano, coffee and water. Really really funny and cool people as well! I got my tattoo done by Josh. He was really inspiring and very down to earth. You could tell these guys really enjoy what they do and are a family. Very professional and friendly. I asked for a thumb print, which was very intricate, and Josh did it with no hassle. For sure, coming back again.

This shop has quality work in a clean and inviting atmosphere with truly talented people. Ive two tats done by Karen who is a uniquely talented artist and her work is so above and beyond the average Fresno ink shops that the price felt very reasonable for the incredible value. I had a large raven done in color on my left upper arm and a series of flying ravens done on my right arm, and her attention to detail and skills with shading and fine lines was truly amazing. The color raven almost looks 3D and really pops, and she immediately grasped the concept I was looking for with the ravens in flight. The shop is busy, which is a good thing when you think about it, so be prepared to wait a few weeks to get inked here, but its well worth the wait. Yes there are other shops in town with talk ins, but a tattoo is permanent and its not worth being impulsive just to end up with a faint or blown-out tat from a mediocre back-room scratcher. I highly recommend this shop and definitely will be back.

Late on my review, but I had a great experience getting a tattoo here. Crio did an amazing job and the girl up front was very sweet and nice. I have one and a half (never got it finished.... my fault!!!) Tattoos from Greg and he is awesome as well. I will continue to support this brand and recommend liquid fetish to every one who asks. Clean environment and I really like how there is a front area and a more secluded area to get tattooed. Personally, its a huge plus for me.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the experience you get here is second to none. The customer service here makes you feel welcome. They always had an answer to your questions and really make your opinion feel welcomed. My artist was Gabe. This mans talent is unbelievable. He was able to take my ideas and with his skill he transformed them into something unbelievable. He makes you feel comfortable from the moment he shakes your hand,to the stencil,to the tattoo, to the clean up. This shop is very clean, you will always see someone cleaning the stations. I will definitely return to this shop. I cant say enough good things about this place. I have definitely found my new shop for the rest of my tattoos. I just want to say thank you to everyone I spoke to and worked with to help make this experience wonderful.

My wife got a cross with a dove and flowers from Thomas. She loves it. I love it. Staff was really cool and friendly, stayed in contact from beginning to end. Shaughnessy kept me company with some nice stogies in the parking lot and good conversation. I have nothing but great things to say about Liquid Fetish. These guys are pros. This is THE place to get your tattoo.

Zac was super cool and professional really helped me figure where I wanted this tattoo and the colors. I really was amazed he went as far as watching the movie for reference for my tattoo. My first tattoo was a great experience, seeing it on my arm just brings a smile to my face. I love the colors, the radio, and Gigi the cat. It just all looks great.I cant wait to get my next tattoo here!I highly recommend this place especially if its your first tattoo!

I walked in this afternoon without an appointment and Shawnessy was able to fit me into the schedule for a small foot tattoo. He was great! Very nice, quick, and professional and he did a fantastic job. It was my first tattoo and my friend and I are already planning a return trip. Thank you!

Horrible experience! Scheduled 2 different appointment twice and just got ignored after that. No returned calls. Even went back to the shop twice to confirm my second appointment with a female assistant. She had confirmed with me everything was GOOD. I wanted to make sure that I was set for that day. I knew something would go wrong because no call backs from Karen at all! When I went to my appointment supposedly my appointments got mixed up, and I supposedly canceled not true! Not ever going back!

Karen is a fantastic artist who created exactly what I wanted...looking forward to more!!

Everything about this tattoo experience was excellent. Hannah, the receptionist is very friendly and professional. Karen my artist was just awesome all around. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get a tattoo. I will definitely be getting my next tattoo there!

They had great customer service. Gabriel did my tattoo and he was very kind and gentle, his work turned out beautiful. I would recommend liquid fetish any day. It’s a little more pricey but the quality is outstanding!

I walked in with two ideas in my head for gifts for my daughter for her birthday. Within a week he took my ideas and made them reality. I wholeheartedly recommend this guy - he does outstanding customized work. He is my new jeweler.

Very clean and the staff is super cool. This was my first tattoo and Karen (I hope Im spelling that right) was outstanding. She was very nice and super steady. I caught the bug and this will be my regular place.

I have got three different tattoos at Liquid Fetish North with the artist Gabe. For all three tattoos the communication and consultation process was very difficult. To start, the artist did very little prep to make sure I got what I wanted. He basically didn’t want to sketch anything up and just wanted to do his own thing on his own timeline. Once the appointment was scheduled for this last tattoo, the day arrived to do the tattoo, the artist was VERY late to my appointment and was not able to complete the tattoo because of this. This resulted in me not getting what I wanted. Due to the lack of communication, lack of consultation, lack in time management, and unprofessionalism, I ended up with something completely different than what I envisioned. I ended up having to go to another artist at another shop who was much more communicative and was able to inform me about options on completing what I had in mind for my tattoo. He was able to complete it in a short period of time, and I was just as pleased with his work. I gave this shop 2 stars because I understand most of my issues is with the one artist. However, the shop stands behind the work of the artist and if you’re looking for a good well-rounded artist/shop that won’t leave you hanging, pulling out your hair waiting to see if they will finish tattoo before next client, or unwilling to sketch what you want, I would NOT recommend this shop. Unfortunately, the business practices here by the artists saddens me and there ARE other artists/shops that I would recommend with the same caliber of work AND much better practices.

Long wait to be seen just to get rescheduled, twice! My concern was starting a project that wouldnt get done due to his availability/commitment. Requested a call from Greg. Im sure others had a wonderful experience, this is just mine at LF downtown. No call back hence the bad review.

I honestly love this location, the receptionist was super friendly also the Artist!! OMG!! When I tell you that their communication skills are on point they really are. Crio is great at handling the ideas giving you the style and art concept with adding some of his flavor. The rose came out phenomenal also the location was very clean Covid safety protocol on point. Best believe I’m coming back Highly recommend coming here

Closed on sundays, or at least today. Im all about supporting local businesses and this may have been an oversight, but as a small business owner, u need to make sure all info is on point always as promotion is important. This, for me, is the reason ill mever come back. Loyalty is everything, in all aspects of life. Lack of updated info for the customers and potentials is a big thing for me. Thats all. No disrespect tho, ive heard great things otherwise.

Greg is one of the most talented artist ever Ive looked at a lot of work online and was so excited to finally get my portrait done by him a year later dont regret it one bit. His work speaks for itself

Had a scheduled an appt with Daniel at new location.. He was out of town & sorry. Thats all I got when I could have gone anywhere else to spend the $500 cash in my pocket. Oh well, Daniel. Guess your competition will take my money

Gabe is an amazing artist. Been to quite a few different places and Gabe is by far the most skilled in multiple styles. Highly recommend!

Ive only been here for raves. Mostly spacious but only one bathroom which is bad at a rave. Not a bad venue but not good for larger crowds.
