Resistance Tattoo

By far one of the best tattoo shops Ive been to. I drive all the way from Ventura County to have my work done by Casper. In my opinion he is a great artist. He has a soft hand which is good. He doesnt leave scaring, like Ive gotten in the past.The staff is super friendly, clean, and a nice environment all around. The owner Jay is so down to Earth.

Had an appointment today with @xenotriplesix. Excellent work and really light handed. No Face tat I had actually got done from Xeno about 5 years ago. Today was a touch up. Overall, Resistance Tattoo, is a great place located in Tower District. Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. They will take care of you.

Resistance tattoo artist are by far the best. They have a number of tattoo artists that can design what your ideas are given to them. They definitely will involve you to make sure its right ✅️ before starting on your tattoo. And when its complete and you get to take that first look. WOW, youre going to get a huge rush from there detailed work you see. I think that the big smile on our face is for sure there reward. 😄

Got a tattoo cover up and within a few months it looked really old and faded the artist said she did it light shading blah blah because that was her choice not once did she ask me what I wanted or if I wanted a light or dark shade I am a dark skin girl so it would have been nice now im stuck with a horribly faded tattoo and to think she thought I would reschedule and go back to her after this and pay when it should have been done right the first time my fault tho for not doing my research it’s obvious she’s not used to tattooing black skin what a waste of money. Elle was really nice but that doesn’t change my horrible tattoo SMH

These guys did last-minute commemorative cartoon tattoos for our whole family. They did such an incredible job, we couldn’t be happier.

My tattoo artist is Jake StMark and he is absolutely amazing. Hes professional, clean, and super talented! I have gotten one original and one cover up from him. He has always been reliable. He listens to what you want and comes up with something perfect for you. I had a bad tattoo on my foot and he made the best cover up I could have asked for. He is reasonably priced and I will be coming back for more tattoos from him.

Josh created two pieces for me that are beautiful. Jake gave me my most recent piece, which was fabulous. Talented artists, excellent linework, and so easy to work with. Much respect 🙏

I went to Joshua for a tattoo for my grandpa who had passed away the day before. He spent hours designing the tattoo with the concepts I gave him and the tattoo is beautiful. I could not rate this place any better. They were professional, kind, cleanly and my tattoo is healing super well.

The best tattoo shop in Fresno. Ive been coming here for 3 years now. All I can say is that if you want the highest quality ink look no further. Every single artist in the shop is amazing. So if you want a Tattoo look no further!

This place has great artist, Casper and Josh do such great work, and we always come back to them. The shop is always clean, good vibes, and has great artwork! A staple tattoo shop!

We went to 5 other tattoo shops, all of them were unprofessional and over priced. Ended up at Resistance tattoo and customer service was excellent. Jay did my tattoo, very cool guy. I absolutely love it, he made sure it was exactly what I wanted. Prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend Resistance tattoo.

I have gotten about 9 tats from Trevor. He’s my go 2 artist now. I love his work and leave happy every time. Very reasonable pricing for exactly what I wanted done.

I’m a huge supporter of the artists down here, they are all truly talented. I used to go to my regular guy here when he was still in town, but since he moved I decided to give another artist a try. Josh hooked me UP! I asked for a small filler tattoo to fill On a spot on my sleeve and wanted something anime/ manga inspired, and WOW! It’s absolutely perfect; the size, placement, color and line work are AMAZING! It’s dainty yet accurate to the original art. Plus, price was VERY VERY reasonable. Thanks again Josh, I’ll definitely be stopping by again when I need another filler tattoo! 🤘

The man the myth the legend Jay Esparza has been nothing but great to me. Jays work is amazing! Very friendly and professional staff and clean shop. Definitely recommend if you are looking for superb work!

I have been going to Resistance since I was 18. I am now 34. I have another session lined up soon! I will never go anywhere else.

I called the shop the other day to discuss a tattoo for my daughter. When I gave a description and said it will be black and gray his answers were very short. He was not interested in talking you could tell? When I asked who specializes in Black and gray they all do everything okay are there any pictures? Yeah I think online I looked online and all artists have portfolios? I had to contact the owner to tell him my experience and no response. I have been in business 20+ years and this was poor service all around. I would not reccomend them to anyone and will spread the word. I can only assume they have to much business or poor training.

Great prices, and very friendly! Michelle gave me my first and second tattoos, she was quick and gave me exactly what I imagined! Will be going there whenever I choose to get my next tattoos!

Sean was my tattoo artist, and he did a great job. It was my first tattoo, and he was patient, watched to make sure I was doing alright with the pain, and was easy to understand with care instructions. Would definitely go again, and it is cash only, just keep that in mind!!

It was amazing everyone hella cool my boyfriend was here visiting from Texas so l was like let go get tattoos to I love how they take walk in got in and out fast give us exactly what we were looking for we love our feathers 🪶 🪶

Trevor is awesome...did a walk in and his assistance in placing the tattoo in the right place helped a lot. Im usually the person second guessing my options...but this choice was a no brainier. Thank you Trevor at Resistance Tattoo...I will definitely come again.

I got my first tattoo today--a cute angelfish on my instep. I am so happy with the tattoo and my experience here. Jace did a great job. If I get another tattoo it will definitely be here with Jace.

I was going to get my first tattoo and the owner J was highly recommended to me so I was confident I would get the tattoo I wanted and it would be done well. When I first saw it I was still so pumped up on adrenaline that I thought I liked it but by the next day when Id had time to look at it I realized it was NOTHING like what Id wanted and Im no expert but even I could see that it it was executed very poorly.Months later I ended up having to go somewhere else to at least get it cleaned up so it does look somewhat better but I still hate to even look at it because its not what I wanted and the whole design is ugly.From the minute I walked in the shop J was very arrogant and rude so I should have just left then but I was so excited to be getting my meaningful tattoo that I stayed and even waited well over an hour past my appointment time while he got his supplies ready. In hindsight now I truly wish I had never let him put anything on my body because it was supposed to be a beautiful tribute piece and it looks nothing like that. In fact Ive even had people say it looks like a prison tattoo.Other people swear by Jand I have seen pictures of work he has done that was nice so I dont know if he was just having an off day but I would never take the chance that hed have another day like that and let him desecrate my body again.Because of my experience with him I was afraid to ever get another tattoo but I was lucky enough to find a very talented artist who did their best to repair the shoddy work I originally got so now I have someone I trust to do my next tattoos.

Awesome place. Ask for Ryan he is the nicest dude for real!! Just randomly walked in 20 mins prior to his next appointment and he was still down to do work and he did a fantastic job!
