I had been researching where to get a tattoo in memory of my dad who passed away in 2021 from leukemia. For almost 2 years now I have done a lot of research and asking around and looking at videos and instagram post. I red a lot of reviews on a lot of different artists in the area. Elias was one of the artist that people kept telling me I needed to check out. I did my research and watched a lot of videos on him and saw a lot of his work. I wanted to make sure I chose the right person to do this piece not only because it was going to be on my arm for everyone to see but because it means a lot to me and I wanted it to be perfect. It is a very special piece and I have to say I could not be more happy with the out come I will also say Elias and the whole team at Arte studios are amazing and they treat you like family from the moment you walk through the doors of their shop. This will not be the last tattoo I get from Elias that’s for sure! Thank you Elias for treating me like part of the family and understanding how important this tattoo was to me and making it better than I could have ever imagined! If you are looking for a great piece of art no matter how big or small go check these guys out, they have a lot of great artists and apprentices that will take care of you! You will not be disappointed!

My wife decided that she wanted to get a tattoo to cover a small scar she has on her forearm and on the same day of getting the tattoo done, that was the day we decided to go for it and the same day we picked out this studio. I did call ahead to ask if walk in was possible and requested for an artist that specializes in fine lines. Prior to arrival (took us about 45 min), my wife asked me to request MARIA but to my fault, I forgot. We went in, spoke to the gentleman at the desk and was assigned another woman. We decided to move forward with it based on the art and the size we chose. But I felt terrible because I forgot to request the artist (my wife’s English in not that great).I decided on the spot to do my own research on the studio and the artist we received (I also have quite a few pcs myself). I think that our original artist is an apprentice and I couldn’t find many artwork (seems to be new) to proceed. My wife has had a few bad experiences in the past and I did not want to deal with any consequences on that hour ride back home. So I went ahead and spoke with the gentlemen to request the artist my wife asked for, Maria.This studio was able to complete our request with no issues. Maria completed the tattoo beautifully! My wife absolutely love the work and is extremely happy! Thank you guys so much and certainly want to thank Maria for her work.More importantly, to the apprentice (we believe), I want to apologize for any inconvenience… I hope we did not offend you but at the same time, we hope to see more art from you because we will be back for more! Place was clean, people were nice. The tattoos we got ended up not so great with incomplete shading, shaky line work, and ink not holding well from really thin lines, but we could have had apprentices or inexperienced artists that night. I wouldnt shy away from the shop, just check your artists portfolio.

Got a tattoo from there the other night by Maria and absolutely love it! She was able to get it exactly the way I wanted and added to it a few times for me. She did such an amazing job. The studio was really clean and everyone was super nice!

My husband went to Arte to complete his arm sleeve. From the moment you walk in you’re treated like family. These guys/ladies are true artists! They take your vision and make it ten times better. I got a tattoo from Glitch back in January 2022, and Im happy to say that hes a very talented artist who did a great job! However, I want to provide some feedback for anyone who might be interested in a thin line tattoo from him. The attached pictures show how the tattoo has changed over time. When it was first done, it was much more vibrant, but now it looks more like light charcoal. Despite the changes, I still like the tattoo and think that Glitch did a great job with the design. However, I want to to note that I won’t be getting another tattoo similar to this one.

Had an amazing experience here at Arte Studios. I got a cover up of an existing tattoo fixed by Chemo ink and he did absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place as well as Chemo!

Had 3 walk-in tattoos for my friends and I. Service was a little backed up due to it being a Saturday night, but they were determined to fit us in since we did get there relatively early. Tattoo artist, Glitch, was very welcoming and easy to talk to. This was my second tattoo, and he was really helpful since my first tattoo was small and almost 3 years prior. The facility was very clean and had a modern set up. All of the staff was very kind and welcoming. Tattoos here are a little pricey, but the artists do very good work.

Macy is absolutely amazing! The work she did was exactly what I had imagined for my first tattoo! She made me feel super comfortable and walked me through the process as she went! She did beautiful shading work and the lines are beautiful and dark! I will come back to see her again soon!

Everyone in the studio was so friendly. Jay was my tattoo artist and I could not have asked for anyone better. He took his time and you could tell he genuinely took pride into what he does. I can’t wait to see him for the rest of my projects.

It used to be difficult to find GREAT tattoo artist without traveling to another state 😩. I couldn’t believe they started a place RIGHT HERE locally!! You HAVE to check them out on Instagram to see how talented they are. I personally chose Glitch because I was researching a fine line artist and I got THREE in the same day (got on his waiting list previously). He was so nice, professional, and patient. He made sure everything was so precise and exactly what we wanted (my mom too!) the studio is so clean and just overall nice to be at. There is no intimidation whatsoever. I went here to get my belly piercing redone and my nose pierced and Destiny was amazing!! She was so polite and even let me hold one of her plushies while i was getting pierced. Definitely coming back for her to do multiple piercings on me! 10/10 you should definitely see her if you want anything done!!

I was just here about a week ago getting some piercings done with Luce, she was beyond great! She made sure I felt comfortable and was a true professional. She gave thorough care instructions for my piercings and answered all my questions. Great experience with this shop and was happy to see it was spotless - this was such a relief as Ive visited a few shops that can definitely work on their cleanliness. In love with my piercings and will definitely be coming back!

I wanted to start off by saying that at first I was a bit skeptical since I never gotten anything from this tattoo shop but I’m proud to say that I got a Medusa tattoo from Jay here yesterday. This is a 10/10 and the service was really good. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable and I will definitely be returning.

I contemplated getting a tattoo for a very long time. I looked through many artists work, but when I saw The Almighty Glitchs work I knew he was the one. When I met him, he had the BEST vibes and was super cool, and took care of me as if hed known me for years. Within a month of the first tattoo, I had him booked for a second. Both times his work was amazing. He really cares about his art and will go above and beyond with the details in his work. Everyone here is very friendly and are very skilled. Jay Z tattooed me for a walk-in today and did an INCREDIBLE job!! The detail is insane in such a small tattoo and I plan on coming to him for his style (black/grey and exactly my type of shading) to get a patchwork sleeve off of the same tattoo. Thanks man for a good tattoo experience!

I was in town for a few days and they luckily fit me in. The artist in the shop are friendly and do fantastic work. Chemo was my artist. He checked and doubled checked the piece before he applied it to me. He also had me verify everything after he applied it to my arm. He gave me the best tattoo that I have. Great crisp line work. I highly recommend this shop to locals and anyone in town visiting. The shop is worth traveling to.

I am absolutely elated with the completion of my piece. Elias was my artist and I went to him with a list of things but no real idea of what I wanted, or how I wanted it to look. I thought in order to be satisfied I would need a full sleeve to incorporate it all. I trusted his eye and I am not disappointed. He created a great work of art that did not need my entire arm. This is a great place to go if you want work done. Like I said elias was my artist but at this shop you get the experience and artistic view of all the artist. They are all truly amazing and talented and not above approach, they hold each other to high standards. The atmosphere is amazing, the artwork amazing, and the clothing line dope. More than happy with my new tattoo Glitch was awesome and is definitely a great artist. I went to several shops for a tattoo and was told it won’t be possible as a walk-in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and ended up getting my tattoo. These guys are awesome and should definitely be checked out, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently got my daith pierced by Destiny and she was amazing! She was very professional, easy to engage with, very clear about the process of the piercing and how to care for it after. I highly recommend her and will be going back to her for my next piercing.

BEST TATTOO EXPERIENCE EVER WITH CHEMO!I found him at a tattoo convention in ATL. Initially I went to see a different vendor and artist, but Chemo’s work spoke for itself. I booked w/him that same day, and it was the BEST decision! Totally worth the hour drive! I’ve had bad reactions in the past w/piercings, so I was concerned how my skin would respond w/a tattoo. Chemo was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and explained how his technique would reduce this kind of reaction. I felt very comfortable after he explained everything. I appreciated his expertise, and my skin healed perfectly!!! No issues at all!!! The shop environment was super clean! Everyone was very friendly, great vibes all around, shout out to the music, and it was simply an Awesome atmosphere! The skill set in that shop was incredible. The environment here is very welcoming. I did not feel rushed or get any negative attitude or vibe from no one who works here. Lucy was very professional and kind as well as knowledgeable of her work. I got my right ear pierced and snake eyes tongue piercing done by her and am happy with the results. The Best! When I say the BEST I mean I drove 50 miles one way just to get Chemo to do my piece. Staff was very friendly and the vibe was a very lowkey type of feeling, like finding your own secret spot you want to keep all to yourself! I absolutely love this place. I really wish I could’ve came here to get my first tattoo done! This is my 2nd tattoo.I got a small one about the size of 2 quarters, I got it done with jay and he was extremely patient and made sure everything was on point for me. He even put his Input into it and I was more obsessed with it. The whole shop is professional and nice. They treat everyone like family. Will definitely recommend anyone to come here👍🏼

I was so excited to get my first tattoo and I was looking for good tattoo places. This was one of the best reviews I read and I looked through their Instagram and the artist’s artwork and thoroughly enjoyed it. On a majority of the artist’s pages, they said that I could just DM them on Instagram and book on appointment through messaging them. So that’s exactly what I did and I DM’d Jay. He told me he had an opening for the day I wanted to get it and could take me in at 12pm. A couple days passed and I hadn’t gotten any confirmation from him and I asked if I had to make a deposit or get some sort of email and he didn’t reply (I’ve never gotten a tattoo so I wasn’t sure how the process really works). Then I messaged him the next day to see if he was still good to do my tattoo on Friday and he finally texts back saying that he “thinks” someone else already booked that time. I asked if there were any other days or times available and he never replied back. Then I just told him to forget it and he texted back immediately saying “okay”. Not only does it show how he’s been ignoring my text, but how unprofessional he was being. If you say that I can book an appointment through DM, then you should mean it. I had even sent pictures of the tattoo I wanted and he said he could do it and mind you, it was gonna be a pretty big tattoo, which meant more money for him. But it was his loss. This was just a bad experience with his “customer service” and I don’t ever plan on going to this tattoo studio.

Awesome experience getting my first tattoo. Glitch was great getting an original design together on his surface. Extremely happy with the way it turned out! The shading and quality of the letters was really impressive.

This was my first tattoo and I was scared, but the staff was nice and made the time worthwhile. I’m definitely coming back.Edit:The tattoo came out good, but staff said I’d have to pay the minimum price of the tattoo(75 dollars). Just to get one small spot touched up from where there wasn’t enough ink applied to it.

Worst experience ever. I asked for a gun and he talked me into roses. My appointment was at 1 and we didn’t even start until 3ish. I was there for about 6-7 hours. I got little to nothing done. I was in horrible pain. They also offered me alcohol and I’m not 21, and they talked about edibles and smoking weed, they also talked a lot of Spanish and laughed about you. I made an excuse to leave due to the pain, and they made me pay $225 when I left so I ended up paying $325 for an unfinished tattoo. My mother called up there and they said she could come in today at 11:30 and come get the $225 back, we went up there and they said they never said that. If I could rate a 0stars I would I wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone. They’re expensive and rude.

I traveled from the south side to Gainesville an hour away to get tattooed by chemo he was extremely nice and professional as well as the other artist there! Best tattoo experience I’ve had definitely am booking and recommending all Friends and people from the south side to come and get tatted quality over quantity!

I was recommended to this studio when I needed a new place to have one of my tattoos fixed up. I just wasn’t happy with the original tattoo and I needed it to look better. I found Jose Orozco on Instagram , aka Chemo Ink, and he transformed my tattoo! It looks exactly how I wanted and a million times better. Extremely clean and acceptable studio and I was very pleased with how welcomed and taken care of I felt. All the artist there are very nice. I will be back here in the future!

This tattoo shop is absolutely the best at black and gray I had no scarring the lines are crisp and clean and my tattoo turned out amazing! The word natural comes to mind when explaining how well someone does their craft whether it be a musician, athlete or in this case a tattoo artist. Elias has a God given talent when it comes to Tattooing. I came into the word of ink at an older age 55. I was lucky enough to have found Elias. Though you cant argue with his talent, his work ethic is second to none. He tattoos all night if he needs to to get it right.Since receiving my first, he has tattooed me 6 times including a sleeve, both sides of my ribs and a partial sleeve to my other arm. At present time , we are deciding on a full back piece. Elias admires the work of Carlos Torres; a great artist who has done many famous sports figures and movie celebrities. Carlos is on the west coast; Elias will one day be considered in my opinion as the best on the east coast. Congratulations brother! Chemo completely transformed my tattoo from something i was embarrassed to let people see, to something i’m so proud to have on my body. I have 7 tattoos and I have never paid over 175 for any of them, however I came into this tattoo shop wanting 3 small numbers not even the length of my pinky and they wanted 120$ for it. It’s a bummer because it seems like a great place if the price wasn’t so outrageous.

So it’s a week before my birthday and I’ll be honest I’m a piercing addict and I’ve been looking all over for a good and sanitary piercer so today I decided to get my vertical labret and belly button first off I’ve taken me forever to find someone to do this and also the shop is so clean and the ladies are so sweet I truly recommend this place and honestly me and my fiancé will definitely be going here for our first tattoos, and piercings this place is the bomb !!!!

I got a rose cover up from Gil and he did such a fantastic job! He was very focused didn’t talk much during the session but he finished quick and it was beautifully detailed ! Love my new rose !

Thank you to destiny I got my first belly piercing the pain was literally 0 I also got my nose septum pierced it stung just a bit but afterwards you don’t feel nothing I recommend to ask for destiny she did amazing she help me calm down bc I was nervous at first but I do recommend to ask her.

Good people good art but when I tried to get a tattoo I put in a deposit and began working on the piece with the artist he said he would have some drafts up for me and never got back too me tried to get my deposit back but didn’t read the fine print which is on me after this I began looking at other shops in the area and found someone who would do it cheaper I do think this shop is a bit expensive but there is decent art and good people just make sure your artist gets back too you because if not a 100$ deposit will go to waist

Very chill place, Everyone is friendly. I used Glitch and he did an amazing job. Very light hands, at times I didn’t even realize he was doing the tattoo. Highly recommend.

I cannot express how much Erik Bonilla (i_am_the_glitch on Instagram) exceeded my expectations when it came to my tattoo! The amount of detail and craftsmanship he put in my tattoo is pure talent and skill. His attention to detail, and his shading technique makes his art stand out. The night before my appointment, he even watched the movie my tattoo was based on to be inspired by the art! Thats dedication to his clients. I drove two hours to see him and it was absolutely worth it. I cannot recommend him enough! 10/10

I searched all over Gainvesville to find a place to get a tattoo in honor of my brother.I cant remember the artist name but i was so happy with his service and his work.Even tho all the other places i searched excepted walkins they all had an issue why they couldnt ink me that day.Arte welcomed me,they guy in the receptionist are rocked.I explained to them what the ink meant and on that particular day my brothers ashes were put to rest so getting it done on that day meant alot..He listened said ok found me an artist that was amazing and did just an awesome job it literally looked like someone places a sticker on my arm..His letters are beautiful.
