Immediately upon walking in I was greeted by lovely welcoming staff who answered all of my questions, helped me learn more about the jewelry, and made sure I understood pricing and care instructions upfront so there were no surprises!The studio is clean, well designed, welcoming, and had a great vibe. All the staff were warm and authentic.My piercer was so friendly and knowledgeable. They did an initial consultation to look at old closed piercings and ensure placement of the new piercing was not only visually pleasing, but safest for my body and healing. I loved that they talked me through the entire process - it was cool to learn more about it. They changed their gloves frequently, showed me all the sterilized utensils and ensured I felt completely safe in their sanitation processes all while having genuine conversations - I hope they really did say hi to their dog for me, he sounds like a sweetheart!The jewelry is high quality and gorgeous- they have pieces to fit all price ranges.10/10 will be back and 10/10 will recommend IRIS to my contacts.

I cannot say enough good things after visiting IRIS. I didn’t know where to start for redesigning the 17 piercing in my ears but Merlin absolutely showed up for me. They were very patient (took time going through their beautiful selection of jewelry) helpful, and knowledgeable making the experience amazing. Kenzie was quick and efficient at switching out my jewelry, their studio was very clean. I look forward to coming back for all my piercing/jewelry needs.

Two weeks ago I made an appointment to get an ear piercing. I wasnt sure which kind. Ne and Merlin helped me find the perfect place for my new piercing. The entire experience was a delight. Ne has such a soft touch that they were done before I realized it. The jewelry Iris has for new piercings is high quality and gorgeous. Ill be back for the other side soon. 10/10

We had an excellent experience at IRIS! Kenzi was a pro and explained exactly what was going to happen prior to piercing. Merlin and Nickie were extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable with the process and picking out jewelry. This place is very clean, professional and detail oriented in every facet.

Incredible piercing experience! They have the cutest, ornate pieces of quality jewelry to choose from. The whole process is so thoughtful and personalized. Yes, the price point is higher, but you are paying for not only the jewelry quality but the personalized, friendly staff and service. Can’t recommend enough.

The customer service here is fantastic! I got a nostril piercing at their shop awhile back, went later on to them to get a hoop put in, and every time I visited was a great experience. The studio itself is so clean and they did a great job at informing me of each step in the process so I knew what was happening and what to expect. They were very knowledgeable about any questions I had and were very quick to respond with any issues I was having regarding my piercing. This was by far the best experience I’ve had at a piercing studio!

I was helped by Merlin and they helped me pick the perfect jewelry! They were super sweet and welcoming :))) They were super excited about each piece of jewelry I picked and took their time to help me map out my ears for my piercing plans! I came in just to window shop and left feeling excited and itching to make an appointment!

I’ve always loved Iris. They’ve helped me with so many piercings and I appreciate the queer friendly environment. However, the last two times I’ve been here one of the piercers has been rather cold and hard to talk to. Their presence has been unwelcoming and makes me not want to return/come as regularly as I do. I’m writing this review to suggest that clients may request their piercers! Thank you again for all you do otherwise.

Great service, and the employees are very nice and helpful with everything! They made sure everything was sterile before doing the piercing which made me feel more comfortable. I got a nose piercing and so far I love it, and I will definitely be back if I ever want to get another piercing.

I had a great experience when I came in to get a nostril piercing. they pay attention to details and take such great care of you! very informative and they even texted me the next day to see how i was doing/see if i had any questions. i did end up having a question and they were very quick to respond and very helpful! highly recommend them and i will be back!!

This studio is one of the most amazing experiences for piercings. Like, Disney-level customer service. I initially wanted my industrial, and I was educated in my ear shape and shown why my ear would probably reject the piercing. They worked with me to find the best piercing to fit my desire and my ear shape. AND they check in once after you get home and just had my two-week check up text. They really make you feel like they care about you as a person- not just a dollar sign.10/10 recommend!

Absolutely amazing! I live 10 hours away and don’t have the best piercing advice or shops, was blown away with their service. Amazing energy all around, everyone was so so nice, answered all my questions no problem and were able to work with me on what I needed / wanted. I definitely suggest stopping here, I’ll definitely be coming back. (I had my industrial and nose jewelry replaced)

Amazing experience! i got my triples and a cartilage piercing. kenzie was super calm and made me less nervous. both piercings were easy to get and we were there less than an hour. the studio was also beautiful and had beautiful jewelry. i will be coming back to get my next piercing!

Kenzie hooked me up with a VCH piercing. For it to be in such an intimate area I was never once made uncomfortable. There wasn’t a single time Kenzie touched me without telling me what they were doing before hand. The piercing itself came out fantastic and I was given a lot of useful information for aftercare and jewelry tips. Really great experience!

I had pretty high expectations walking into Iris today. Needless to say, I was blown away! They have beautiful jewelry in a gorgeous shop that I can’t wait to come back to. Consent was clearly important to them, and Nickie did an absolutely incredible job with my pair of second piercings in my ears. Additionally, they were incredibly clean- sterilizing my jewelry, cleaning my ears well, and not rushing through the process.I will be recommending to everyone!

A great and friendly atmosphere! I came in a little bit ago looking for a good nose hoop I can take easily in and out for classes and Merlin was so sweet! They took their time to help me find my best option and I really appreciate it. No more deformed hoops hahaha! Thank you Merlin!

I was very impressed with this place! I had my left earlobe reconstructed about 7 months ago due to a piercing when I was younger. I couldn’t wear any hoops or dangling earrings because it would pull my lobe down and almost rip through. I was nervous about getting it pierced again after it was sutured together, but the people that work here know what they are doing!! Not to mention their health & cleanliness standards are amazing. I would recommend anyone to come here with piercing needs!!

Cannot say enough good things about Kenzie and the staff here. We came in to get my daughters ears pierced and had a wonderful experience. Ne did an amazing job! My daughter was anxious about getting her ears pierced for the first time and Ne helped her feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. All of the staff were professional and very helpful.

I will never buy jewelry anywhere else again. They actually make sure the little stem of the earring matches the depth of your ear and the back does not stick into your head! I have never had jewelry fit or feel better. I will also never go anywhere else to get a piercing again. Way better to go to a place that only does piercings for a perfect experience. It’s more expensive than Amazon, but well worth it.

LOVED coming here! I got three piercings all by the lovely Kenzie (conch, nose, and tragus) Im not a fan of needles, and she was super patient and reassuring for having to deal with an adult whimpering. Super thorough on what she was doing step by step, and with the after care. The earring selection is so beautiful, definitely better than the normal basic rod with a ball on the end, with price ranges for everyone (so dont let the pricier ones scare you, they do have some cheaper ones). They all healed beautifully, and Ill definitely be back to get shorted posts and some other jewelry. It was also SO CLEAN!

Love the folks here, love the vibe. So knowledgeable and very fairly priced. Your truly do get what you pay for and I LOVE all of my piercings. They give great tips for aftercare, post-aftercare, and ensuring the longevity of your piercing. They also have a wide variety of jewellery at different price ranges. The gallery assistants are very helpful and kind. If you have an idea of what you want your piercing to look like, they are very accommodating and super stoked to help you achieve your vision. Just make sure you look at which time zone your appointment time is set at. Ive made that mistake a few times but it was all good lol. Also a very safe space for trans people!

Beautiful studio! Extremely clean. My piercer Sam answered all of my questions and was so friendly and knowledgeable. Rae helped me check in and out and was helpful in picking out my new jewelry. Al was SO helpful in walking me through my piercing and jewelry options as we decided on a flat helix. Ne was (again) my amazing piercer and talked me through everything that was happening and specific aftercare instructions! Got my doubles pierced today, the girls in this shop were so friendly, professional, and personable. I brought my two little kids along with me, and they showed them all the neat stuff they had around the shop and gave them stickers. It was so nice :) they did my double ear piercings perfectly. Great place. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

Omg I LOOOOVE it! Uma get new piercings just to for an excuse to go design me a new Gold/real diamond pieces. Way better then wearn the piercing studs or reg body jewelry. Thank god they have atleast one of these stores herr for me to have access too. See you guys soon

I just took my (very eager) 6 year old daughter to get her ears pierced there today. I was recommended by my neighbor. I would LOVE to pass along the recommendation. They were so professional, yet warm and friendly, and very thorough. Our technician was so great with my daughter, talking her through each step, super calm, she truly made it a special and positive experience for us. She did the placement dots a couple times, making sure it was truly right and the best placement she could get. My daughter could not stop talking about how nice she was the whole car-ride home and how good she did. She spent time going over successful after care. Really, I will be recommending this studio to my friends.

After showing them reference pictures and explaining my needs, they helped me decide what kind of piercing would be best for me. The shop was very clean. They have a wonderful selection of high quality jewelry to pick from, and they have a great follow-up system. Kenzie pierced my septum and I’m in absolute LOVE. from the moment I walked in until the second I stepped out—these girls were so accommodating, sweet, and down to earth—I would make the two hour drive in a heart beat to get pierced here. I said from the get go I wanted something very minimal and simple in my septum and it’s like they saw my personal vision and created it themselves. They are SO educated and informative. Just had an appointment for a jewelry change/ size down for a septum piercing that was done elsewhere. They were all so great! Everyone was helpful, the jewelry is affordable, and the shop is so clean. Loved my experience!

Amazing experience with my 9 year old twins. Staff was great! They spent time with us and talked us through everything. Nickie (gallery assistant) was gracious and welcoming. Kenzie did a great deal of teaching with my girls and made it fun for them, taking away their nerves. Everything was clean and done with great technique. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

Service is great, place is clean, everyone who works here is top notch. Got my septum piercing done here and very happy with it. Only thing is I wish they didnt charge you to put in jewelry that you purchase there. Seems like if you buy it there, placement should be included. But wont knock stars for that. I am so impressed with the care, patience, and upbeat personality that everyone working at Iris has! We were recommended to come here by my piercer at Decorum since they don’t pierce little ones. We came in today to get my 5 year old’s ear lobes pierced since she has been asking to have them done for months. She is a very anxious girly with sensory processing issues that she can very easily mask making it kind of tricky to grasp her feelings at times. They were all so reassuring, calm, and explained every step before and as they were doing it. I was also highly impressed that they asked her if it was okay that they touch her face/ears while marking & measuring. She also got a kick out of signing her name on the paperwork too! Little things like that just make a world of difference. The shop was clean and felt very friendly and safe. You all made my mama heart happy. (And My daughter is feeling like a little rockstar too!)

They walked me through everything they were doing or about to do, joked with me and recommended a great new ear piercing (I have the anatomy for an industrial so Ne suggested a few options that will not hinder my future industrial!)Seriously, the best piercing shop and I will forever recommend Iris to anyone looking for a new piercing. :)Original review, apparently you can only have one:Kenzie is a great piercer. Very knowledgeable, and very considerate. Answered all my questions thoroughly and even eased my concern over my nipple piercings I got at another studio. Will definitely go again.Price is on the higher end for jewelry, but it is definitely high quality and long lasting jewelry. They do have options starting at 15 for the fronts (posts are an additional cost) so definitely can be affordable. Definitely worth the wait to save up the money as well.Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a great piercing experience or new quality jewelry.

I recently got my nose pierced here, and was a bit nervous as it was my first major piercing, but Kenzie walked me through the entire process and explained everything. I felt so comfortable and relaxed the entire time! There were also so many unique options for jewelry with a wide range budget wise as well. This is a wonderful place! From the beautiful and calm entry / gallery to the clean piercing rooms, this place is perfect. My daughter had her ears pierced at a different place (which was recommended by people on FB) a few years ago and it was not a great experience. There was loud music playing, it was dark, it felt rushed, and we had constant problems with the piercings, they kept getting infected, pulling through her ear, and causing pain. We finally ended up taking them out and letting them heal shut. I thought she would never want to try again.But my younger daughter began asking to get hers done, and so for Spring Break we decided to all go together and get our ears pierced. Both daughters got lobe piercings and I got a conch piercing.Both girls were excited to have their ears pierced, but had some nervousness and tears during the process, and Kenzie was SOOO patient, taking her time, explaining things, giving them breaks and making sure they were completely consenting to it. They both love their earrings and are so glad they went through with it. The beautiful and calm studio and unrushed atmosphere really made it feel special for them, and made such a difference in their experience. The earrings are all healing beautifully and we have not had one single issue with them. We would highly recommend Kenzie and the Iris Piercing Studio to anyone!

Went in to get my nipple pierced today, and the experience was amazing! Kenzie is the artist who did the piercing and was very assuring, relaxing, honest etc etc…overall great work! While waiting did some chatting with the artists FOH and they’re hysterical! Great energy. 10/10 recommend!

Wow, Rae, Nicki, and Kenzie were incredible!! This was my first real piercing, I got my septum done, and they made me feel so safe, comfortable and BEAUTIFUL!! I am so happy with the professionalism of Rae and Nicki when discussing the procedure and their experiences to help soothe my nerves! Not to mention the quality of the shop. Highest quality materials and stones for the jewelry, my favorite was Pupil. Super friendly staff. I went with a friend as support when she got her helix done and was super impressed with their artist. Less than 4 days later I made an appointment for 2 piercings. When I walked it I was nervous and walked back on the second piercing. They didnt make me feel stupid for being hesitant at all. The artist (sorry Im blanking on your name hun!) Made sure I was comfortable before asking if I wanted the other one done. The other staff members cheered when I told them I went through with both.Cant wait to come back and get something sparkly to level up from the plain posts!

The whole experience was super easy, educational and fun! There was a lot of jewelry options ranging in price and style and Rae was super helpful in talking through them to help me make my decision. Came for an ear styling. It was a great experience. Everyone was kind and super helpful. They were able to translate my very loose description of what I wanted into a beautiful look. The 3 new piercings I received are healing beautifully. High quality jewelry and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Such a lovely experience! The piercer and the person out front were both super warm and helpful and put me right at ease. I highly recommend it to everyone, but especially to my fellow ladies or anyone who might be uncomfortable in a traditional piercing setting or tattoo shop. I went in for additional lone piercings and my front helix. I was super nervous but they were very caring and kept talking me through the entire process and let me decide if I wanted to keep going or stop with what I got. I decided to do all the piercings I wanted and they were very gentle and all in all a great experience. I definitely will be going back.

Very knowledgeable, came in for a nose piercing swap... more for advice because it didnt look like it was healing well. They recommended taking it out and letting it heal. When I asked if it would look good on the other side, they were honest and never once pushed me into going for it, just gave me advice and let me make the decision. I will definitely be back, I was visiting a friend for a concert as I do frequently, but Id drive a few hours for great service like this.

My 15 year old daughter got her ears pierced for the first time, and we had such a wonderful experience. We appreciated how they took such care and put such thought into the entire process. The actual piercing was very professionally done and I really wish that when I had gotten my ears pierced all those years ago that I had had an experience like this one! My friend and I made appointments at Iris for the first time this weekend to get a few piercings and we will absolutely be back. They made us feel super comfortable and they were SO nice.Some of the jewelry on their website is a bit expensive, BUT they have something for every price point, so don’t let that deter you from going there! Scheduling an appointment online was extremely easy, can’t wait to go back!!

I was sitting at a coffee shop this morning and felt the need to do something impulsive so I booked an appointment with Iris. The process was super convenient and easy to do, and the forms that I had to fill out were easy to understand and completely comprehensive.The facility was clean, professional and incredibly calming. I was super nervous getting my first piercing (even though all my friends told me not to worry) and Nickie calmed all of my worries while Kenzie prepared my piercing materials. The process was fast, clean and efficient. I will absolutely be going back in the future when I get the urge to get my next ones!

The IRIS piercing studio is very clean and has very good quality jewelry. I brought my 10 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time. Nickie the gallery assistant helped us pick out the right earrings for my daughter and offered to put on any music my daughter would like to hear. Kenzie who pierced my daughters ears did a great job making my daughter who was a little nervous feel very comfortable and she explained everything she was going to do so we knew what to expect. This was fantastic! It was my very first piercing and they were so nice. We chatted and made conversation and I felt very safe and comfortable. Everything was communicated clearly and there were no surprises. I was nervous about picking out earrings for my style, but there were a wide variety of options and they helped me pick the best for me. The online booking was a big plus too! Very easy to book online and get in for an appointment, as I’m usually adverse to making phone calls. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and can’t stop raving about it to all my friends.

I had my ear lobes re-pierced at Iris and it was a great experience! The backs of my ears (that I had pierced in 2nd grade) had closed up so I wanted to get them fixed. Making an appointment online was super easy. There was a ton of jewelry to choose from and the staff was all super helpful. It was extremely clean as well. Definitely recommend and I will be returning for any future piercing needs!!

My 8yo daughter had her ears pierced at this piercing establishment today. They were professional, clean, took their time to explain to my daughter the process, and talked her through each step of the way. We were the only ones there (it is by appt after all) and they even went so far as to play music that my daughter likes at the store to make her comfortable. They have a reduced rate for ages 5-10 getting their ears pierced, as opposed to paying full price for each ear. And a wide variety of quality studs, with or without gems. I would highly recommend this piercing studio!

Love this place. Got my daith pierced and didn’t hurt a bit, can’t wait to get a few more. On the pricey side but as one who gets infections easy it was worth it to make sure it was done correct.. and no issues! They will change out earrings for $12 if you need assistance, such helpful staff as well.

I have horrible anxiety. But the moment I walked into this building everyone was so nice and welcoming. I came in to get my septum pierced. And when I tell you Kenzie was the sweetest most kind person. She walked me through each step ensuring that I wasn’t freaking out and was as comfortable as I could possibly be. I came here yesterday for a septum piercing and it was the most comfortable experience Ive ever had. I have a huge fear of needles but Kenzie was very professional and calmed my nerves so easily. After my piercing Kenzie was telling me that shes been piercing for about 7 years and it really shows, Ill definitely come back if I want another piercing in the future!

Kenzie and Lexie were amazing. I came in to browse and started asking Kenzie questions about getting a stacked lobe piercing. I also inquired about putting a hoop in my conch. She gently informed me that the positioning would be difficult for a hoop and explained where it should be pierced for the jewelry to fit properly. We did the stacked lobe that day and I later came back to have two improperly placed (by other piercers years ago) piercings re-do. She was kind and informative and very clean throughout the process. I brought my mum to Kenzie and she also ended up getting a new piercing which she loves. I could not speak more highly of Kenzie to anyone getting a piercing. She cares about you and sending you home with a piercing that will heal properly and fit your anatomy. Excellent experience!

I had an amazing experience getting my rook pierced at Iris Piercing! The piercing artist was extremely thorough, kind and clean. The jewelry was sterilized for 7 minutes and the piercing itself was very quick. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a piercing!

Everyone was sooooo professional, patient and knowledgeable! They answered all of my questions and even provided me with a snack and water. My piercing is healing well! I was visiting from out of town and they also provided me a list of nearby places to go to follow up and change my nose ring when needed. I got my nose pierced by Noel today and had a wonderful experience. The jewelry selection was amazing and we found some beautiful neometal champagne studs that were in my budget. Ill absolutely be back to upgrade to some rose gold when its time to downsize the posts!

Came to get my son’s ears pierced and brought his birth certificate that came directly from the Kent county clerks office with their raised seal on it only to be told that they couldn’t accept it and asked if I had another. What?? I’m 45 minutes from home and there isn’t another. It doesn’t get any more legit than the one I had. I think someone needs a lesson in what valid certificates look like. Unfortunately, their lack of understanding cost me the fee for reserving the appointment. Very disappointed, we won’t be back.**Edit- I’m pleased to say that they have since reached out to the Kent County Clerks office to get a better understanding of what is an acceptable birth certificate and have resolved the issue for future customers. They also refunded my deposit.

My piercer Kenzie explained everything before she started AND during the process. My jewelry was placed in the autoclave before the procedures (I had my lobes pierced with a 2nd hole and my cartilage re-done). I have a latex sensitivity and she was happy to use Nitrile gloves. IRIS uses implant-quality jewelry with longer posts to accommodate any swelling. You get a discount if you go back after the proper healing time so the can check your progress and switch out your long posts for shorter ones. I highly recommend IRIS as they are a piercing-only facility.

Ive been here a couple times and the experience was great. However, I tried to be a repeat customer but they were closed during their open posted hours. Very frustrating when you plan your day off and errands around a businesses posted hours and they are closed. The experience I had was good just call before you go. Also if you are going to close for an hour or two for inventory make sure that is correctly posted on your door. Also dont ignore a guest completely when there are three people inside and your hours are listed as open. At the very least greet your guests and let them know what the current situation is.
