FANTASTIC! I have been getting pierced for 6 years and have tried an insane amount of shops but this one takes the cake. Lindsey was the sweetest and most helpful when doing a correction for my high nostril piercing and gave me so many tricks for having happier and healthier piercings. Her knowledge and customer service make getting something painful done a walk in the park. The selection of high quality jewelry is amazing and slightly overwhelming! So much to choose from for all price ranges. I will gladly use this place as my go to for all my flesh suit bedazzling! I HIGHLY recommend!

I saw Lindsey for my appointment and it was THE BEST piercing appointment Id ever had! She was so patient and kind. She made sure to understand everything I wanted for my appointment and that I was happy with my jewelry selections. I swapped my nostril piercing, got a new double-nostril piercing, and re-opened(?) my lip piercing. I also have a medical phobia involving needles that I told her about and she was so dang supportive and empathetic. She made sure I was feeling good before I left. Ill be back for a future tattoo appointment for sure, but Ill also be seeing Lindsey for my piercing/jewelry needs.

Got a daith piercing. Fantastic place. Great selection of jewelry. It was clean, the staff was great and my piercer Lindsey was amazing and answered all my questions. They also fit me in for same day appt. Would definitely go back for another piercing.

I have had several tattoo sessions with kota and have absolutely loved the work she put on my arm. I get people every day admiring the artwork.I have also gotten several piercings done by both George and Lindsey. They customer service is great they answered every question and make sure you are comfortable and well informed. All of their jewelry is very high quality and worth the price. I will only go there for other piercings and suggest them to people all of the time.

I was recommended to go here by a dear friend for piercing services, and I am so glad I did! I got my nose pierced by George, and he was so knowledgeable and patient- he helped me pick out exactly the right jewelry, and he made sure I was comfortable and completely informed about the process and what was going to happen, both before it began and as he did it. This shop has some of the most beautiful and unique body jewelry I have ever seen in a piercing shop. I thought they were handmade, they were that beautiful. ✨ I had my piercing done by Lindsey. I went to get a simple jewelry swap with a piece I planned to buy there. I didnt realize they were by appointment only, but George squeezed me in as a walk-in. The experience was great. Its a very clean environment, the jewelry is reasonably priced, and I will definitely go again.

Pretty much appointments only. Door is kept lock, so you cant exactly walk-in.I wish I came here in the first place!! Had my nostril repierced after an unpleasant experience elsewhere. Lindsey was very sympathetic, kind, informative, and made the process way smoother and comfortable than the first time I went through it elsewhere. Thorough explanation before and after the piercing. Given a little pamphlet (picture) about care and approx. when to return. Very hopeful this time around for my nose to heal. The prices may be expensive, you wont find their quality of care and jewlery anywhere in town. Will be back for future piercings!

Made an appointment, did not have to wait long at all. George was awesome, my jewelry was around $50, but it looks amazing and the insertion was free! Only took him about five minutes to get ready! They have a pretty wide selection and the environment is super chill. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a clean and sterile environment for piercings! Staff is super friendly!

I came in for my second nostril piercing, and my 10 year old got her ear lobes pierced for the second time as well. Lindsey was great! She explained everything in a way my daughter would understand and feel comfortable and we both walked out with smiles on our faces. Top notch establishment, and Lindsey is a top notch human.

My man Jamal zipped me out in an hour and a half. He used bacteen numbing agent in the soap for my shading, so I didnt feel a thing. Wonderful work. Great conversation.

My 8 year old had her ears pierced here and I also got a second double lobe piercing. Our experience was great. George was friendly and able to put my daughter at ease. Everything was handled very professionally and he took the time to make sure we were happy with our jewelry and understood the process.

I just recently moved to Michigan and was looking to find a reputable piercer that I could go to in order to get my cartilage piercing checked out and the jewelry changed, and I am so glad I found HTG! Lindsey and George are seriously the best. They both consulted with me about my specific needs, and made the whole process so comfortable and reassuring. Before reaching out, I read all the google reviews and their Facebook to ensure that I was choosing the right place for my next piercing. Since I went to a sketchy place the last time, I wanted to be sure I knew what I was getting into. I emailed their piercing team to see when I could get scheduled for my septum, and they called me the following day to set something up.The shop was immaculately clean, they have a massive jewelry selection, and George was absolutely great. He made sure to walk me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I met their apprentice as well, and she was very nice and she seemed excited to learn.I appreciated that George actually took the time to make sure my piercing was lined up correctly, and made sure that I was happy with the placement and the jewelry before everything got started. I couldn’t be happier with how my septum looks, and I’ve recommended this shop to a few of my friends who are looking to get other piercings. Thanks guys! I hope to see y’all again soon!

Recently went in for a surface and a conch piercing and was very impressed. George did a fantastic job on both piercings and was extremely friendly, professional, and detailed. He and Jasie made the experience smooth and comfortable and made sure I had all the info needed for successful healing. Yesterday I went in for my septum piercing! I LOVE the fact that htg is very CLEAN! That’s something that’s super important to me, which is why this is the ONLY place I will ever go to for piercings! 4 years ago I had my nose pierced here and I am still rocking the same stud I was pierced with. If you’re looking for good quality, cleanliness, and friendly staff then this is your place!

I love this shop. Great selection of jewelry from very affordable to very high end. Everyone I met was super friendly in the shop.Nichole is a great. She talked to me about appropriate jewelry, her recommendations for the piercing placement, and healing times. They also have aftercare products right in the shop which is super convenient. This piercing has healed better than any of the others Ive had.Cant wait to come back for another piercing or jewelry!

George was incredibly patient and so kind to my 7 year old who wanted her ears pierced. She was very nervous and he spent so much time explaining every detail and answering her questions. Although she decided to wait to go through with the piercings, we will absolutely be coming back when she is ready.

Dakota did my tattoo and she did such an amazing job! She took me on short notice and contacted me to let me know I could come early on my appointment. Very professional and an AMAZING tattoo artist.

I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to George. I got my lip pierced at another shop and it wasnt the best experience. I wasnt informed on what size, length, gauge, etc that my spider bites were when I left. I was told I could downsize/change jewelry after two weeks, and that time frame was too short. I ended up swelling after a few weeks from changing out the posts and trying horseshoes that were too small. The swelling was worse than when I got it pierced and my posts were too short for the swelling. I was scared that I would have to take them out, and freaked out because I had done everything I was told to do.George was able to ease my mind and provide me with much more information, and correct information at that. I learned two weeks was too soon, I learned I was cleaning it too much, I learned I was misinformed. He got me set up with longer posts which are much more comfortable for the swelling, and in the end, he saved my lip. The swelling immediately stopped getting worse after visiting him, and now its starting to go down. Its only been a couple days since I was here, but I am confident that I wont need to remove my piercing. Before I came into this studio, I was stressed, scared, and a complete mess. I left feeling hopeful and positive, and today, I am happy and confident. I will recommend Honest to Goodness to everyone and I totally plan to get any future piercings or tattoos done here.Thank you George!!!

My 2 granddaughters, two daughters and myself all had piercings. My granddaughter and I had our noses while the other three had ears. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish! I just recently had my septum pierced here and I have to say it was an awesome experience! Up until that point I hadn’t had any other piercings besides my lobes (which I had done when I was a baby) so this was going to be my first piercing in about 18 years of not getting pierced. I got it done by Lindsey and she was absolutely phenomenal! I have a lower pain tolerance and so I was pretty nervous, and when I get nervous I tend to, at times, talk a lot. I was asking Lindsey question after question about the piercing procedure, what she was using, anatomy for septums, etc. Just question after question and she answered all of them with a smile and the patience of an angel I swear! She was eager to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable. She talked me through what was going to happen and made sure I was ok after it was all said and done. My piercing is a bit crooked but it’s nothing noticeable from the front, only if you’re looking up my nose. I was told I have a small variation in my septum so that could’ve possibly been done to accommodate for my anatomy being a bit off. All in all it was truly an amazing experience. The interior is beautiful, all the staff are so kind and welcoming, and I can definitely see myself coming back for more piercings here…and possibly my first tattoo somewhere down the road :))

Cannot recommend HTG and Lindsey enough!! the environment when you first come in is so welcoming and soothing, and lindsey walks you through every step she’s doing both prep and piercing! she was so personable and easy to talk to, and the way she pierced my nose left me with no bleeding thus no pain!! my nose is healing beautifully, i can’t wait to go in and get my shorter post put in 🩷

A beautiful and unique shop! George was so kind and informative throughout my 9 yr olds ear 1st ear piercing experience! He made this special for HER and it felt like it was all about her! Ive been in for an appointment 3 times. 2 new piercings and one jewelry change. Every time I have had an excellent experience. I recommend HTG to anyone who asks about piercings. I feel very safe and like Im in good hands. George is incredibly professional and very good at his craft.

I cannot recommend HTG enough for piercings! George is absolutely wonderful and has been so patient and accommodating with all my piercing and jewelry needs. I live in Maryland and always book a session when I’m in town because I know that George will give me a piercing that I love and that looks amazing. He was even willing to squeeze me in for a separate jewelry issue (my own fault) on a fully booked day and took the time to show me how to fix the issue in the future. He takes his time when marking out the piercings to make sure the placement will look good, heal well, and is exactly what I envision. I honestly wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to do my antitragus. Can’t wait to book more appointments next time I’m in the state!

I got 2 helix piercings from Jasie, she’s currently an apprentice but does her job like a pro! She made sure to aline the piercings correctly and even took my glasses into account so they would not clank together, compared to other places Honest to Goodness is affordably and professional, everyone there was sweet and lovely to talk to, they showed me how to do after-care in great detail and when to come back to resize my piercing, I was nervous but they made the experience wonderful and as painless as possible. I spent a little under $100 for 2 piercing with the earring and after care products, plus tip. Definitely getting any other piercings done here! Thank you Jasie!!

The team is very professional and informative. Been here several times for piercings, Lindsey is awesome. As with any studio, it can take a little time to get through on the phones, but they do always call back.

Lindsey is great! She pierced my septum. She is very knowledgeable and let me know exactly what was going to happen from beginning to end. No surprises. Very clean environment and the cleaning prep before the piercing was exceptional.Jewelry itself is very expensive BUT thats to be expected at any higher end piercing shop because higher quality is what is best for your skin (not all people understand that) so you get exactly what you pay for. They have a lot of options and theyre very pretty. Jewelry is also sterilized in house.Ive been to other higher end piercing shops and I have quite a few unique piercings and this overall is one of the best experiences Ive had. The other staff there seemed friendly as well. Definitely will be back :)

George is awesome! He squeezed me into a tight schedule to get my nostril piercing switched out (that I got at a different shop) so it could heal better. He was super informative, friendly, and gentle with the piercing. They have a really nice selection of jewelry to choose from which was not offered at the shop I got the piercing. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere which is always important for tattoos and piercings. 100% recommend!

I am thrilled with the ear piercings I got from George. The shop was inviting, the jewelry was beautiful, the process was well-explained, and (as someone with a scientific background) I was very impressed with the cleanliness and sanitization protocols. When I mentioned that I live out of state and would not be able to return for a downsizing, he even found exactly which piercer I should go to for my follow-up appointment. I called to have them look at some piercings I had been concerned about for a while. I had them done somewhere else and they were causing me issues (my own fault). They were patient with me while scheduling, very important with me being a college student and having a busy schedule. During the appointment they made sure I was comfortable and provided privacy. Very clean shop, I loved that the sterilizer for jewelry is inside of the room so you know its getting cleaned properly. They were very thorough in explaining what was going on with my piercings and helped with a solution. I was constantly worried or frustrated about my piercings. Having their help and knowledge has solved the issue and they are doing great now!! I highly recommend this place.

Would never go anywhere else. Professional, clean, safety conscious. They take all the time you need. Spencer was great. My tattoo was very simple and very small, but he treated it like it was his most important piece.

Lindsey was great! My daughter was excited but quite nervous going into it, but Lyndsey did a wonderful job of setting her at ease, explained the entire process in detail and took her time. My daughter is very happy with her new earrings.

I contacted Spencer Watson over a week ago about a tattoo. He sent me information and I sent the deposit within minutes of receiving the text. I was told I would receive what appointments where open “shortly.” A day and half later after reaching out after 24 hours, I was given some options (red flag #1). A part of the first text I received said that I would see a sketch “day of w plenty of time to make adjustments,” but that never happened (red flag #2). It was 70 minutes before my appointment when I received a text message saying that he was 2 hours behind schedule (red flag #3) and that was the final straw. If my mom hadn’t fell and gotten and unexpected concussion, I might have been able to make the 2 hour difference work, but at that point, I didn’t feel confident in thinking that this artist was interested in doing the work at all. I asked for my depot back and I did get it with an odd message from him. I’m not sure if he was a bragging that he filled my spot, trying to make it an insult, or trying to make me feel badly, but it was unnecessary and uncalled for.I myself am an artist and while I am not a tattooist, I am very familiar with client relations and this whole experience was beyond unprofessional. I have been on both sides of the fence and know that both parties (usually) want a successful transaction. I did not expect this kind of behavior from someone who according to their bio has been tattooing for 14 years. Ultimately I felt like my time was waisted and I feel like other people and the business itself should be aware of this kind of business practices. They have other great artists, but unfortunately after this experience, I will not be returning.

I got my angel bites done by Lindsey and it was the best experience Ive ever had in a shop!! They did an amazing job at making me feel safe, comfortable and supported. They also did a great job at distracting me with humor! Overall the best experience Ive had getting a piercing. This is the only place ill be going to for peirceings from now on and the only peircer Ill be going to in the the future!

A few years ago my sister and I got our matching tattoos done at HTG. They turned out great and we still love them!We just went back for a couple piercings and had the pleasure of working with George. He was INCREDIBLE. I got my right nostril pierced last Friday and I had such an amazing experience! I got my ears pierced years and years ago and thats it, so I fully had no idea what the experience would be like and was kind of nervous. They were so kind and understanding that I hardly felt nervous when I was in there. It was quick and easy and the girl who did it explained everything and was so nice! My friend and I went to get our nipples done for my 18th today. This was the most fantastic service I have ever received at a piercing shop!! Our piercer George was friendly, professional and cultivated a gentle and nonjudgmental atmosphere despite us both being nervous about such a sensitive piercing. I totally recommend this spot.

They helped me with an existing cartilage/lower helix ear piercing. Help pick proper jewelry and gave professional and knowledgeable care instructions. Good prices for very great quality, high-end jewelry. Lots of fun jewelry options to choose from too. I would definitely recommend!

George was awesome! My 5 year old has been begging to get her ears pierced, but I refused to take her to just any place. I wanted the best for her first piercing and we definitely got that. Yes, its more expensive than a teenager with a gun that may or may not be sterilized, but you get what you pay for. 5 is the absolute youngest they do ear piercing, and I totally appreciate that and their views and practices on body autonomy. We went in for a couple of consultations to make sure she was comfortable and really wanted this, and George was so fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend him and his shop. Safety and comfort is their top priority and it shows.

Came here the day after my birthday with a dermal emergency & when I called they never mentioned any fee. I come in & theyre completely unempathetic to needs or concerns. Jewelry itself only nice thing. Would not recommend.

George pierced my 12 year old daughter’s ears. He did a great job. He was a very calming, helpful and professional worker. We were treated with kindness and patience. He explained everything to her first and then me. I like how he took her seriously. The place is very clean and everything was done by the book. I was very impressed when we left that he took the time to be sure we understood all the aftercare instructions and reminded us to call if we had any issues. I liked hearing, “just call id you have any questions. I’m here to help!”.

Clean, professional, amazing customer service. From start to finish, my experience was awesome.If you did not know, this is a female run business, and mostly females work there. It was really obvious when we walked in based on the ambiance. This is not your stereotypical tattoo parlor. It is very nicely decorated, smelled pretty, had nice music on, etc.I loved this place for my piercings and Ill definitely be going back here for my tattoos.

I thought I had a great experience here, getting into the building and waiting was a bit weird (I had an appointment but when waiting no one would answer the phone and I had come in with other customers and then proceeded to again wait over 30 minutes inside the building) I got my septum done by the female piercer, I forgot her name, and while piercing almost upside down was weird I just went with it as it was my first time getting it done. She was so friendly and it healed decently so I thought no problems. While healing I thought it looked a bit big and was placed a bit weird (farther back from my friends, I could never get it to sit straight, etc.) but I figured it was my nose shape and just went with it.Now into September when I’m good to get it resized, I went to screaming needle in allendale (I’m at college so made the most sense) and I wanted to resize since I figured that’s why it say so weird. The piercer at SN immediately looked at it and was like… That’s really odd placement. It’s more on the center of your nose, crooked both sideways and back, and asked how I flipped it up. He asked because even flipped up you could see it due to the way it was in the middle of my nose. I ended up getting it repierced today and it looks a million times better and is was a less painful piercing and is more comfortable both up and down. I’m overall just disappointed as I asked these concerns the day I got my initial piercing at honest to goodness and was told it was normal, that my nose was slightly crooked and deviated (piercer at screaming needle denied this and even showed me his deviated septum to show how mine isn’t) and that it’s as straight as possible. Crazy how I spent $50 at honest to goodness thinking I was going to a better shop(nothing against SN, just always was told honest to goodness was a more high end, higher quality shop) and ended up having to spend the $25 at SN to get it fixed after feeling like I was nuts for the whole summer.On top of that, she used a ridiculously sized ring (I can’t remember what size he had said but he said it was a size that unless you want your piercings very large don’t do it) and it was externally threaded. I do have a large sweet spot, and heal easily from piercings, hence why it healed at all.

Everyone is very nice and super helpful. They also have a great selection of jewelry. George pierced my lobes after I had my original holes surgically repaired. He made me feel very comfortable and took his time to go through everything with me. You can hardly see the scars and they look 10x better than they ever did originally!

Got my kiddos ears pierced here. Professional, clean, by the book, kind, and very accommodating. Profoundly respectful of my child. They reiterated to my child that her body was her own and that if at any time she wanted to stop, theyd stop immediately, no problem. The piercings are just right, and healing well. The companys name certainly suits them. Im glad I went with them for my second lobe piercing. Ended up with an infection and they were able to see me the same day to clean it out. Also made sure I didnt make the same newbie mistake and that I really knew how to clean the piercing everyday.Clean and knowledgeable environment. They also have some unique jewelry. By far the most skilled, professional, and cleanest place Ive ever been to! I flew all the way from Texas to come here. Well mainly to see Stephanie Lane. Ive been to many tattoo parlors, and her work is second to none. I came to see her for a full sleeve, and we accomplished this in 4 all day sittings. All back to back to back to back. The attention to detail, professionalism, and overall tattoo experience was perfect. All 4 days she was on point, weather it was helping with the design, prep work, or just the happy customer service she was on top of it. If you are looking for amazing art work, a clean environment, and great customer service Stephanie Lane at honest to goodness is your must go to place. When you do call, be prepared to set your appointment up further down the line. I waited 6 months, but when something is on your body for the rest of your life, 6 months is petty. I will be defiantly be going back for more work.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but I did not have a good experience here.I spent about an hour waiting to get a nose ring replaced, which is understandable at a tattoo shop, I can be patient. But to spend the time waiting just to be greeted by an artist who was fairly rude throughout the whole appointment was very disappointing. He was not welcoming, made me feel like I was inconveniencing him, and was rude answering questions I had about ring sizes.I had high hopes but was overall unimpressed.

I got my septum done with Honest To Goodness several weeks ago and they have been so helpful answering all my questions since! This is the most welcoming tattoo/piercing shop Ive ever been to, a lot of places are intimidating and spooky, but Honest to Goodness is doing something different. Hidden gem!. Went here to get a new tragus earring because another from somewhere else was bothering me terribly bad. One of the piercing owners (George) was VERY helpful. He is awesome!!. Very thorough with everything. Took very good care of me. Should I get any more piercing I would most definitely go to him... Parking is horrible ....but worth the great customer service. Earrings are pretty pricey as well but the new one isnt bothering me at all. Thanks George.!

I just got a tattoo done by Tony here, and I have to say the entire appointment was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Great place to go if youre interested in getting anything done, they have all kinds of artists that specialize in different techniques and are all extremely talented. Mark is the man and I got my first ever tattoo from him, I gave him an idea to run with and he knocked it out of the park. Endured about 8 hours of needle to skin time and Mark even stayed after hours to finish me up instead of scheduling another appointment. If you choose to get something done here you will not regret it, schedule early though as all artists are very busy because of how talented and in demand they are.

I like HTG. They have an amazing selection of jewelry. They encourage special orders which is very cool incase they dont have something in stock. And boy do they know their stuff. They definitely care about your well being and will make sure you have the correct anatomy before piercing you. George performed a piercing on me, and he was super informative and supportive of my jewelry choices. He was very chipper which you do not get in a lot of piercing shops. Nicole (I think? the other piercer) I have not worked with, but when I come in to have my piercing looked at she was super nice and had so much information and answered all my questions. I havent had a tattoo there, but when I looked at the portfolios they looked awful.. Should probably update those soon, definitely turned me off. Definitely the best piercing shop in Grand Rapids. This place did my ear piercings, the first Ive ever had. They also did a piercing for my wife. I was nervous (needles freak me out), but I really wanted pierced ears. They were polite, kind, and understanding about my nerves. After my piercing, I fainted (I was really nervous), and the staff took complete care of me, they knew exactly how to handle the situation. I trust them and they run a very, VERY clean shop. You cant go wrong here.

I am currently getting a 3/4 sleeve by Kaelyn Currow. Its been an awesome experience. I gave her a bunch of ideas and she organized them, got creative, and made the final product awesome. Im really happy about the work she has done thus far. Aside from that, the shop is awesome, its extremely clean, theres a ton of awesome artwork everywhere, and the entire staff is so nice! They all are extremely friendly and welcoming. I have been tattooed a bunch of places by a bunch of different people, but I can definitely say that I wont be going anywhere except Honest to Goodness from now on.

Across the board some of the finest artists in town, and the shop is professional and inclusive. So far I have been tattooed by Emily and Sarah, and both experiences were excellent. They were attentive to my art requests and the outcomes met expectations. I have already scheduled another project.

Eat a big meal, get plenty of sleep, stay hydrated, bring something to lose yourself in and leave all the rest to the brilliant artists at Honest to Goodness. I sat for about 7 hours with Ruben last month for an AMAZING forearm tattoo that is beyond what I had hoped for. Getting appointments here requires some patience, but I assure you there is a reason these guys are in demand. They are all wicked brilliant and I could not imagine going any where else. Take care of yourself and trust your artist, you cant go wrong here.

A friend of mine got me a set of plugs from Honest to Goodness and mentioned George had told him I could come in and get stretched for free if needed. I stopped by and George was amazingly helpful. Even though he was working with someone else he was quick to say hello and at least get me on the right track. He explained everything thoroughly (without making it sound like he thought I didnt know what I was talking about or being condescending). He even made recommendations to help me with my industrial piercing (not done with them- much to my regret!) Now Im just looking for an excuse to go back!

This experience happened a few years ago, and I never said anything about it, but it still frustrates me so here we go. When I first moved to Grand Rapids I heard such good things about this shop, so I decided I wanted to get my half sleeve here. I called in and there was a 6 month wait, which is completely understandable for aa good shop. I put my name in and wait six months, and never hear anything back. Finally, they post on Facebook and say their hold are full, so I called back in and said I was on the wait list for 6 months, do I not get my tattoo? They said they could get me in so I schedule a consultation. I go in and meet with an artist (I believe it was Tiffany) explain the design I want and give my deposit. We scheduled an appointment for my tattoo a few weeks out, I take the day off work, and when the day comes I get a call 2 hours before my appointment saying it needs to be rescheduled. Im frustrated but I get it, emergencies happen, so I reschedule. Only issue is this happened another 3 times, each time with them calling exactly 2 hisho before my appointment. Im patient, but finally I had enough, so I just dont reschedule and I was so fed up, I didnt even bother asking for my deposit back. Was looking forward to trying this place out, but my last experience left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Went there today simply to ask if they did any sort of gift cards or anything as I want to surprise someone with the gift of a tattoo. When I knocked on the door I immediately heard a voice say annoyingly, Jesus Christ as if I were an inconvenience, then a man came stomping over to the door, barely cracked it open like I was a robber or something and said, whats up man? So I ask him my question and he just tells me no we dont do that just speaking for everyone who works there apparently, and then he closed the door. If I ever were to get a tattoo in GR again, it will never be here just due to the rudeness of that gentleman. I hope you read this review sir, you need to seriously work on your customer service skills.

I got 2 piercing last Sunday for the $30. They didnt offer options of jewelry and the ones they put fit to tight a couple of days later since its common for swelling to occur. I had to cut the nose ring off. Never going back to them again.

Okay yesterday i took a trip to Honest To Goodness . i had in mind to get a new body piercing.(ampadravya) i had walked and looked around . it was clean but it had a different feel to it they had a bunch of different art all over the place. i had talked to Zoe Vargas about the piercing ,she was very professional she had recommend that i had a attorney check because i had a ampallang and a freum piercing already. so she looked it over and showed me where she would put it .i like it so we did all the paper work and she had informed me that she only had the 1 and 1/4 bar bell in 8 gauge so. she asked me if i was interested . I was a little reluctant on the bigger gauge so i dieted to do it any ways. so we went back into the room and she took her time marking it because of the other piercings . it was pretty much go time after that . so i laid back and and tried to relax she gave me a minute to focus , i stared to the sealing and listened to her she said take a deep breath in and let it out and she began to push through. it hurt so i just listened to her as she guided me through the pain. words cant describe it . and she put the Jewry through and customized it a little the top bead is larger than the bottom one . it was great.I am glad i picked Honest to Goodness to get that piercing and i would recommend it to anyone that is looking for body art.The staff knows what there doing and they are super friendly and helpful.

For this review: I specifically go to these types of places for plugs.. with that being said, I did buy a pair of 7/16ths plugs, for 35 dollars, in the exquisite shape of the sun. It didnt take long for me to make a selection. While my Wife and I were here, we spoke to a woman on her 3rd appointment of getting a very intricate tattoo: it looked GREAT. Im a kitten flower boutique guy, through and through, but I liked Honest to Goodness A LOT. I will be returning: their prices are MORE FAIR than KFB, and their main thing is tattoos and (20 gauge, starter/regular sized) piercings. I know im starting to ramble..... My opinion of H2G- THUMBS UP. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR BODY JEWELRY. Its a bit on the pricey side when you get down to body jewelry with good and real material, but if you are the real deal like them, their prices shouldnt deter you from purchasing something from their EXQUISITE, QUALITY selections. Todd Jamison gives it a 5 out of 5.

I will never ever ever ever go anywhere else. Even if I move out of state... they wont get rid of me. Clean... perfect... funny.... I recommend them to anyone who is serious about a tattoo... not the typical Jesus fish ones... they are way too talented for that. I figured a 14g nose stud would be at least somewhat more common, but I checked several shops near my home and came downtown to check here on recommendation of a friend. Pretty glad I did, because they had the everything I was looking for, and the lady who helped me was super nice.

Kaylin is absolutely amazing. She is an amazing artist, shop owner and professional. She was recommended by a co-worker of mine and am so thankful to have found her. I had a not so lovely tattoo on my forearm that Kaylin was able to turn into a piece that I am now proud to show off. Had to wait on Kaelyns list for 2 years before I had to call THEM to wait another few months for a consult. Got one consult in and scheduled a second consult for later as she drew stuff up and 2 tattoo days. Showed up for the second and due to unforseen circumstances she wasnt able to make it in, which is totally forgivable in my book. Whats not forgivable is not hearing anything for the next month with my first tattoo day fast approaching. Kept calling and stopping by getting told it she was working on it still. So Im not exactly sure what I was going to be shown had she been able to be there for the second consult...This went on and on. And mind you, this is my first tattoo, Im not confident about this to begin with. Let alone not seeing any sort of artwork until the day before it was supposed to be permanently on my body. And that was only because I stopped in for I think the 5th time and left my email so I could try to see SOMETHING before the day. And needless to say it looked kind of rushed and not very close to what I had asked for. I felt bad doing it, but I canceled day of because I was not about to put that on me and wed have to start from scratch to get it right which would mean dealing with the same experience all over again. Id really like to get something done there eventually cuz theyre very nice people and amazing artists, just not very organized.

This is a great tattoo shop. It is woman owned and operated, and they have mostly female artists. I go here for most of my work because, although you do have to wait a bit to get an appointment, they do amazing work.

Was put on a waiting list for a tattoo by Kaelyn. The shop told me the wait was 9-12 months. Accepted that. Called every 5-6 months for a status update. There was a conflict that pushed the wait out another few months. Accepted that. At 1 year and 3 months of waiting, I was told that the waiting list was being dissolved and to expect a phone call from the artist within a couple of weeks. That was 2 months ago, I have called twice more, and have received no info or call back at all.

Super clean, super professional, I would trust every artist their for their unique and high quality art. Tiffany though is for every my go to and, besides being amazingly talented, is so lovely and kind.

The only shop in Grand Rapids where you can be pierced by a genuine leprechaun! I hear he was once ginger royalty, but gave up his throne, lands, and titles to dedicate himself to his passion of piercing, which he absolutely excels at! His tiny hands work magic, give him your business, but dont ask him where he keeps his gold. Thats personal.

Just REALLY decent humans around here (most probably way more than decent but i dont like to make dramatic/unrealistic claims). Everyone i have ever dealt with here (5+ yr customer) they ALL have been understanding, kind & sympathetic with out being creepy, never overbearing, & again.. just fricken good people (nothing too special but since everyone else on earth seems to be awful since 2020, it is unfortunately VERY noticable to be treated right). Thankful for any respect i get from anyone dont get me wrong, its just obviously not a given anymore.. Thank you HtGoodness♡ (i used to call them H, tooGDgooood lol) Ill probably never go anywhere else, theres just no reason to. Be back once my life clears up. Thank you again!!
