Primo Ink Tattoo

Kayla was wonderful!! It had been so long since I got a tattoo and I was nervous! She was so kind and calm. She listened to what I was requesting and gave me lots of awesome options to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted! She took her time making sure the placement of the tattoo was spot on as well! The entire place was clean, she told me next steps for caring for my new tattoo and she was just all around genuine and nice to work with! The tattoo in this pic isn’t even two weeks old yet and it’s pretty much all healed up!! I’ll definitely be going back to see her for my next one! Thank you Kayla!!

Michael Burns has done 2 of my tattoos now and I am obsessed with them! He takes his time and makes sure every detail is captured. They are absolutely perfect. I also really enjoyed my time while getting tattooed. Troy and Michael are hilarious and just overall fun to be around. I can’t wait for my next one and to continue to work on my sleeve!

Sean was able to get me in right away as a walk-in. He was amazing from the very start, great personality, hilarious, but made sure I knew all the information I needed. So very happy and will be back for more! Thank you ❤️

Shawn was absolutely fantastic, he was very nice, professional and takes you seriously when you say you’re anxious. I got my nose pierced at smoke n guns and it was very messed up and he fixed it for me. 10/10 recommend everyone to go to Shawn for piercings.

I got my septum done today and let me say…OH MY GOSH!!! absolute perfection and shaun is such an amazing piercer. i went in so nervous and he did such a great job calming my nerves and making my friend and i laugh!! i absolutely will recommend him to every single person i know looking for a piercing!!! such a great energy there!

I went in to have my nose jewelry changed and Shawn did great, he apologized but did not need to, was so kind. I had keloids and wanted a fresh ring, he did a great job! He gave me instructions how to heal the bumps; definitely will go back to him!

I went with my daughter to get her snake bites piercing(s). We were blown away as soon as we walked in. This place is SO CLEAN and SO MAGICAL! ✨Shaun is the best guy—personally and professionally. He didn’t go just an extra mile—he went an extra hundred miles for my daughter. He’s an awesome balance of perfectionist and hilarious. Super thorough and skilled. We will be going back for more piercings asap! Thank you, Shaun!

Kayla is the worst tattooist I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional and dirty. She dug out a huge hole in my wrist with her tattoo gun, she pressed the needles in way too hard and blew out a good portion of the ink on my hand. I felt like something wasn’t right when she was tattooing me and after I got home and seen what she did I was and still am livid pissed. Blood was STREAMING down my hand when i left. She wrapped it in a sealed plastic wrap and said to leave it on for 24 hrs. My tattoo stewed in its own blood which turned out to be that the purple ink she used was contaminated and it’s super infected.

10/10 would recommend mike at primo ink! He called and said if I was near, I could come in early because his finished up with his other client early. Super nice, as I was actually early! He was super friendly and chill, made sure I felt comfortable through the whole thing (no dizziness, intolerable pain, etc.). The work he did is fantastic, made sure I liked the design, placement, etc., and the pricing was good too! I will definitely be going back for another sometime soon!I don’t have the best pictures, as I just got it done. However, I wanted to leave a review before I forget!

I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a tattoo in and/or close to Grand Rapids MN. Everyone who works there is kind, respectful, and fun to talk to. The overall atmosphere is chill, I felt comfortable right away.I personally went through Teya. She is an absolute JOY to work with. All of the pieces that I have gotten done through her have turned out incredible.Long comment short:Go here or go to a suckier tattoo place ig 🤷‍♀️

Troy did an excellent job on my tat. Would have given a 5 star, but there were some scheduling conflicts and Dave DID finally handle it and got our group in, but he was not exactly the most cooperative dude.

Good experience... Troy (the tattooist) had some ideas based on previous discussion, and we spent some time refining the design. Looks awesome and Im excited about the final look... its a large multi-color tattoo.

I took my 15 year old son into get his lobes pierced, and was thrilled with the experience! Shaun did an amazing job! He took the time to explain everything to us and made it really fun. He even made my teenager laugh (not always an easy thing to do)! Will definitely be coming back!

I took my 3 girls here to get their ears pierced. Shaun was patient, professional, fun and made my girls feel relaxed. The atmosphere and vibe of this business is incredible. Beautiful work by great people. I was beyond impressed.

I have had three tattoos done here and they are all amazing. Even more amazing they are all from different artists. Troy and Pat are both phenomenal artists and they are soon adding a permanent new school expert who did my third tattoo. I would not get work done anywhere else

I have been going to Troy at Primo Ink for a few years now, and I can most definitely say that his talent is exceptional. He also makes sitting in his chair for long periods of time a lot of fun!The shop looks amazing inside, and atmosphere is relaxing.

Primo Ink and Dave were wesome! Fit me in for an anniversary tat at the last minute! Hes really cool and down to earth and did fantastic work! My husband is now set up to get a tattoo from him and I cant wait to get my next one!!!!

I can say I will no longer go to other places for piercings. I got my girls pierced and the guy who did them was very patient with me, went over everything I needed to know and made me feel as comfortable as he could. Very nice place and people !!

I had an ugly, blown out tattoo that needed to be covered up. I was embarrassed by that ugly thing, but Tyler was not judgmental, and he made me feel really at ease. The cover up he did is so pretty.
