I was very nervous to start this process but after meeting with the staff at Removery, I felt confident to commit. I have had 3 sessions now and would recommend them to others. The laser technician is kind and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable at this facility.

Extremely disappointed and very frustrated for this business to waste my time. It would have saved me so much time and frustration if they had told me over the phone that they cant treat cosmetic tattoos (eyebrow tattoo). I called to inquire about the removal, and customer representative rarely answered any questions I had and was rushing me to book the appointment. She told me they would do a test spot on that first appointment. I kept trying to explain to her the matter of the situation, because I wanted to know if they treat cosmetic tattoo on the face, specifically on the brows. If she had told me NO, upfront, I would not have booked an appointment and show up to the appointment, only for them to tell me Sorry our policy states we dont treat the area if its on the face because were a big corporation and its a big liability. Which is totally FINE with me, but the fact that they wasted my day off of work when I could have booked at a dermatology office or another business to begin with for my specific issues. Especially because I plan to have days off of work after treatment for downtime, now I have to wait for the right time again to book any where else. Please do better and dont waste people’s time. Very unprofessional.

I have had a bad experience here, they change owner ship like every year, and what ever plan you paid for gets voided and they act like they can’t find you or your existing payments on file! Because they change owner ship 🙄 Be careful, iv been coming here for almost 3 years and have gotten completely shut out, I paid for unlimited sessions and only got 3.I also was doing pay as you go in the very beginning when the first owner Open up the place, it was called disappearing Inc. iv gone through different plans and memberships just to remove 1 simple tattoo and btw my tattoo still never disappeared, I did multiple sessions has only lightened up a little. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY! Don’t do long term plans and pay upfront if you do go here! Be extremely careful everyone. The new lady that answers the phone I believe she is the new owner. She’s extremely rude and unprofessional, and new, has no experience with the tattoo removal, these people are untrained and are new to this job. I believe they moved to Ala Moana now, and before they were in Waikiki next to Mucully.Good luck everyone.

Enjoyed my first time experience here. I’ve been going to several different tattoo removal services, and although they are on the pricier side (almost 2x more expensive) I truly believe this removal service is more effective than the other ones. They were very informative, have the best equipment, and even tested out different frequencies of laser to see which one would be the most effective of reaching the ink in my skin. I would not recommend another place on island.

I have been with the Removery for about 7 sessions now and here is my honest review.When reading this review please keep in mind a few key things come into factor that may affect your personal experience.-size of tattoo-age of tattoo-pigment of skin-placement of tattoo on bodyPricing:There were several pricing options provided to me when I decided for the Removery to be my removal studio of choice. I opted to pay for the life of my tattoo due to the fact that I was not sure how many sessions it would take to remove. After the first 3 sessions, they are pretty much free (in my case). The payments are flexible and in my opinion very fair. Especially because you can take your sessions to a different location should you need to move.Scheduling:I have never had an issue with scheduling or rescheduling my appointments. Be advised, when you call, you will be speaking with a call center and not the location itself. At first, admittedly I found this slightly annoying. I quickly realized the call center is very knowledgeable about all their locations nationwide and it is not as much of a hassle as I initially thought it would be. Additionally it is nice to walk into the clinic and not hear phones ringing off the hook. With rescheduling being directed to the call center vice the clinic, you are greeted with full attention by the staff. Which brings me to my next point.Staff:From the beginning of this removal journey I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. They are willing to work with YOUR schedule. The only question I have ever asked (which is a very common one) that still goes unknown is “how many more sessions?” This is solely due to the fact that every tattoo is different. And every body reacts differently. So it genuinely isn’t their fault. They do however, give me their best estimate with how much longer and why. Overall, I am more than satisfied with their work and customer service.Location:I can only speak of the location is Hawaii. That being said, I personally do not like driving to the location. Again, this is a purely personal preference. The clinic is located in a high tourist, high traffic area so naturally physically getting there is a bit of a pain. However, the clinic itself is always so clean and so calming. It feels very nice. I always feel at ease when getting my procedures done.I hope this review helps anyone on the fence about removing their tattoo decide that the Removery is the place for them. I highly recommend this business to anyone wanting to take their body back from a tattoo that doesn’t make them feel confident in their own skin. The Removery has helped me do it.

Ive been going to the Removery in Hawaii for a few years now. The new location at 1441 Kapiolani Blvd # 1412 is beautiful and super clean! Mary & Hann are very professional and kind. The Removery has great pricing and knowledgeable staff with a registered nurse (Mary) doing the laser removal. Id highly recommend the Removery to anyone interested in starting the tattoo removal process.

Great team! They work with you to get a payment plan settled if you can’t pay all up front. Latest technology and they use cold air and ice packs to make the lasering experience as painless as possible. A more pleasant experience getting my tattoo removed than I expected for sure. I’ve had 4 sessions done so far on 4 of my tattoos and I’m happy with the progress I’m seeing. Mary, the technician is very professional and does a really good job. Had my first treatment today. It went super smoothly. I would say it hurt only about half as much as getting the tattoos themselves and are only slightly tender now- a few hours later. Sam was great about explaining everything and was very diligent about making sure I was iced up properly. The shop is super clean and comfortable with a nice little coffee shop on location. I highly recommend if you want to get anything removed!

Had just my first treatment and I can already see light changes with level of pigmentation on the tattooed area. It wasnt painful as I initially thought it would be. I really liked this Tattoo Removery Shop, they have very good customers service and the place is clean and feels welcoming. Sam and Logan are very helpful and friendly. Sam and Logan are amazing at the Removery! Logan was really thorough during the check in and made sure all of my questions we’re answered and I had a lot! Her energy is so calming which helped with my nerves too. Sam was also very thorough. They are both really knowledgeable of the process and healing process too. Sam went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I was really nervous but the process was so smooth and the discomfort was completely minimal. Sam really worked with me and my threshold and the entire process was minimal discomfort. The establishment was very clean and the staff was very professional.Logan was super helpful and informative. She asked me questions about my removal goals and we discussed how many of my tattoos I wanted removed. She was very patient as we discussed several different package options.After the consultation Sam performed the treatment and he was very conscientious about making sure I was comfortable. He was gentle and very empathetic. The pre-treatment cooling and during treatment cooling techniques were highly effective! Ive had treatments from two other establishments in the past and this was the least painful.I am extremely pleased with my results and my experience at Removery Tattoo. I went in for my tattoo removal appointments twice now and Logan was so great as a consult and Sam was also great at giving me all the facts and details for taking care of my tattoo between treatments. Everyone is so nice and welcoming! Highly recommend.

The staff was really nice and friendly and they made sure to communicate every step pre and post procedure. I’ve had 4 sessions of laser removal for one of my tattoos. So far my experience has been really good. It’s really easy, for starters just call and schedule a consultation. Upon arriving you’ll be greeted by professional receptionist to guide you. Removery is located in the back of very clean tattoo shop that has some very cool art on the wall. My main guy Sam has been doing my sessions and he explains in detail everything that needs to happen. They have state of the art equipment (newest laser, cryo chiller) to ensure the process is done right with minor pain. Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting a tattoo removed. 5 stars

I’ve been going to Removery for my tattoo removal in Honolulu for over a year now. So far it’s been great. I want to get rid of my tattoos completely, so maybe it’ll take me for up to 12 treatments. The results and the healing process been really good for me. I love the new office they have by Ala Moana. It’s so much cleaner and smells good too. Mary did an amazing job. She is very gentle and patience. She is really good at it. I would recommend to see her if you want to remove your tattoos permanently. Thank you Mary for being so good at your job!

I found Removery because one of their chains took over a previous laser removal place of mine back in VA. First off, having multiple nationwide locations saved me. Especially with their packages that guarantee tattoo removal. I’m removing 8 tattoos simple because I’m not in love with them anymore and would rather have them off so the large package was actually a bang for my buck.Sam and Logan are very nice and professional. The shop is nestled in a tattoo parlor which gives discounts if you get a coverup I think. Great place to go to and even better if you’re military since Removery offers 10% off for military and spouses.

Thank you, Sam! Thank you, Removery! I have experienced three generations of laser tattoo removal equipment and this one hurts the least and left the least amount of damage on my skin! Sam is a nice person who is personable and took his time to ice my skin cool it down with this awesome cooling machine that I never got to experience before. In less than 24 hours, I have zero pain and my skin just feels a little tight. Looking forward to have all my tattoos finally removed. I stopped treatment in the past because it was just too painful!

From start to finish Sam was amazing! He took the time to do a consultation with me, and I felt comfortable asking all my questions. Big plus to me that he’s from the medical field. Having a great time so far getting my tattoos removed no scaring or blisters. Im thrilled the technician listens to my needs as many other removal places do extremely high settings and damage your skin. Do yourself a favor and work with Sam In Waikiki he will make sure to pick the correct setting for your skin type. I am seeing great results my stomach tattoo is 85% gone! You work with recovery until your tattoo is 100% gone which is great its not per session u pay one price for 100% removal.

Had a really nice experience during the initial consult and with the actual process of getting the laser. Super pro, super clean and Sam was very good. I did the flat rate option for full removal. Had an amazing experience! Ive had several tattoo removal sessions at other businesses in the past and this is definately the best experience Ive had. Wes was very knowledgeable, positive, and patient. He took the time to walk me through details on the laser he utilizes and even showed me videos of it in action so I could see the process before he began. The entire process was quick, relatively painless -as far as being shocked by a giant laser can be- and he explained the process of healing in greater detail than other places Ive been too. I am so glad I decided to take this journey with such professionals! At first I didnt realize how serious the laser procedure would be, thats why I am grateful for Sam. To be honest I started with a different technician but once Sam came on board, as a professional RN, I felt in such good hands. He really takes his time to set expectations, explain what is happening to your skin, and genuinely cares about protecting you from potential side effects and your healing. He is also really kind and fun to chat with! Of course a treatment like this is an investment but doing it with the right people makes it worth it!

The staff is very professional, kind and easy to talk to. Sam, who’s a RN (Registered Nurse), did a consult with me and went over the whole removal process and was extremely knowledgeable about the duration of the treatment, the physical aspects (the mechanics of the machine, pain tolerance, recovery etc) and even down to the anatomy/physiological level of it. I was intrigued to find out that RNs had the capabilities of doing this kind of job which allowed me to trust in his word and work due to him being in the medical field. We also went over financial plans to see what would best be suited without any added pressure. I could tell he is all about wanting to help you out in any way that fit your needs. If you ever want to get a Tattoo removed, faded etc, Sam is your guy!

Recently moved back to Hawaii… One of the things I wanted to do was finish getting a handful of tattoos removed… A process I had started in Florida but hadn’t kept up with my appointments due to COVID and life in general. I originally paid for a full and complete removal but was worried about Invisible Ink (original office) being purchased by Removery and my original purchase not being honored by the new owners. I called to make an appointment through Removery’s central number and was told that they would indeed honor my payment/plan. Stoked! Made an appointment with Sam at the Waikiki site (inside Tattooliscious) and was super happy with process. The shop is super clean and pretty cool to hang out in… Sam was super friendly and professional… Explaining the “Why” of everything throughout the process. Sam was really thorough and made the procedure as comfortable as possible (even though the laser hurts like hell). Welcome to this new building, new office, and new look. These girls did an excellent job setting up the space. Its clean, simple, and comforting. I might suggest to dim the lights a little more to expose the terrian of the utter brutality about to be instilled. I dont know if its cheap for you, it wasnt for me. Full removal of all three, large tribal shoulder etc, was worth every cent! I cannot wait to have these off my body, been haunting me forever (24 years). Easy to find, it’s connected to a coffee shop that I was tempted to try but too excited for my appointment. Ian and Sam explained the process and addressed all possible concerns with the journey of tattoo removal. Pain bearable, felt like a sun burn afterwards. The ice pack prior to the laser was more discomforting for me but they were really comforting and would throw in humor. Made my appointment enjoyable and not feel like just another customer for profit. Already see part of the tattoo line work disappearing. Glad I chose them for this journey and see the progression.

Needed to have a small tattoo removed. From booking my appointment to the procedure, everything went smoothly. Wes explained everything in detail from the cost, to the procedure, to the expected results after a session. He took the time to answer all my questions and really put me at ease. The laser removal room was clean and inviting. The procedure itself was quick and not very painful. I had some redness and a little tenderness for about a day, but nothing after that. So far I am very pleased with the results. I have my next session in a few weeks and will find out then if I will need more. I highly recommend.

I was pretty apprehensive about getting my tattoos removed but it’s a really nice place and it was all very professional. Much less painful than I prepared myself for, it took maybe 2 minutes and then the pain was completely gone. Went super smoothly and I’m relieved!

Wes was awesome. I came in for a tattoo consultation and the artist wanted me to get a removal done to lighten up the black ink so he could tattoo over. Wes was able to fit me in super quick between appointments he already had. Even though I have prior experience with removal he quickly went through all the points with me. He applied an ice pack to help numb me and did the removal quickly to avoid more pain. His pricing was fair and good and Wes was super friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to others for removal. It hurts but he makes it bareable.

Wes was very knowledgeable and thorough while informing me of the entire process. The laser is very efficient and fast. In fact, the paperwork takes as long as the treatment and it was only about 8 initials and one signature. The entire process took about 10 minutes and I was on my way with little more that the pain equivalent of a mild sunburn in the tattoo area. On day two, the area itched slightly and by day three no effects were present.This location validates parking and is very clean and inviting. I plan to visit 3-4 more times to completely remove my tattoo. I highly recommend this process for those that no longer want their tattoos or would like to prepare for newer cover-up skin art.

Went into tattoolicious to get work done, was taken back before getting started to see about removal of a past tattoo, was shown how the process worked and given the opportunity to get the tattoo removed right then. Process from start to finish was only about 5 minutes, super happy with the results and customer service was great. Wes was very friendly and professional.

So glad I came across Disappearing Ink! The lead tech and owner Wes made me feel comfortable with the whole process! He was very kind, punctual and knowledgeable. I had previously gone to a different location for a laser treatment to get part of my tattoo removed and I can already tell a big difference between the results! Only a little bit of swelling occurred from Disappearing Ink’s laser and NO BLISTERING!! It was also less painful compared to the other location I had previously gone to. If you have a tattoo regret or need a part of your tattoo modified, definitely inquire over at Disappearing Ink! Their laser seems to be way more effective and targets the ink much more accurately, I already see fading after only 4 days!! I can’t speak about tattoo removal per se as I went to get ink removed from my brows. Wes (the owner) was very professional, he’s friendly, he takes his time and explains everything and answers any questions you may have. It’s been 6 weeks since my first treatment and my eyebrows look so much better. I’m not going to lie, the laser hurts, some say it feels like a rubberband snap, but no it’s more painful than that (even after numbing the area with an ice pack beforehand) the whole thing is quick probably 10mns total for both brows. My brows have a red tint to them where the black ink was previously but I am happy with the way they are coming along. Can’t wait for my next treatment!

Sam is an artist in reverse, while also an informed scientist. This is my second Removery, and while the first was great, Sam is exceptional. Sam explains the science of power and rate of zap, and then zaps efficiently, effectively, and nuanced to the needs of your ink. Can’t recommend enough.

While apprehensive about the process, Wes was very reassuring and full of information for each question I asked. By far and away, this is the only place on Oahu that I would recommend having your tattoos laser removed. While the process is not painless, per se, it isnt nearly as bad as I had gone in there expecting. All-in-all, I was in the shop for 30 minutes, and the procedure (for 2 separate tattoos) lasted no more that 3 minutes total. The irritation afterwards is just that, irritating. There is no pain whatsoever, and I am writing this the day after my procedure. If youre considering it, bite the bullet and get yourself scheduled! Thanks Wes and I look forward to the next session!

Very professional. Great experience so far! Technician (Sam) is always very caring & explains everything to make the process more comfortable. It’s a slow process, so patience is necessary.

From the first correspondence with Wes I felt comfortable. He was extremely professional and informative. Before he started the removal process he walked me through every detail. I will go back to have further treatments although from just the one session I can definitely see a difference.

With Wes having 10+ years of experience under his belt, he was very knowledgeable about the technology used and the process of healing stages. Wes made me feel very comfortable as he was extremely patient with me during the procedure.I’ve had 7 previous sessions with an older model at a different location resulting in a painful procedure and healing process that left me with massive blisters and some scaring.With the new technology that Wes has, it pin points the ink more directly resulting in a less painful, quicker and more accurate procedure. The healing stage has been a breeze compared to the past with minimal to no blisters.I am very pleased with my results so far! Wes was very responsive, professional and patiently addressed my concerns. It’s been about 2 months and everything had healed nicely and continues to fade as he described it would. I had a removal done by a popular company and can tell quite a bit of difference in terms of effectiveness of the equipment that Wes uses. They are not the cheapest (nor most expensive), but a very fair price for the quality and service.

I wish I had done this whole process sooner! Not nearly as painful as I heard it was - really just an annoying tickle on the skin. Afterwards, it felt like a bad sunburn on the skin for a day or two, and then after that you almost forget you had a procedure done! So excited to go back for more treatments!
