Skin Deep Tattoo and Piercing Waikiki

My husband and I had such an amazing experience at Skin Deep Tattoo!!! Our artist was a guest artist from Italy, Alessandro. He was a very good tattooer, his lines are so clean and crisp! And he was willing to work with us on the style of tattoo that we wanted, he redrew it for us a couple of times.All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, especially the front desk girl Angie! She was very communicative with the timeframe and amount for the artwork, and she was helpful for us to find some local eats!!Next time were on the island, well be back to Skin Deep, for sure!!

The whole experience was awesome. The service was great. Maggie and Kris were super cool and easy to get along with. They made the entire experience. Kris is a fantastic tattoo artist and if I lived in Hawai’i I would consistently book with him. I 100% recommend going here for your tattoos! You will not regret it!

I come to Honolulu frequently for work and I try to make Skin Deep a must go to place when Im in town. I have had work done by both Bernardo and Kai and both pieces have come out above expectations. Angie is great to have around to help with pricing, sizing and a good laugh. The energy in the shop has always been positive when Ive visited and I will continue to come back whenever I can.

Maggie at the counter was super helpful, super informative, super friendly & super funny. Appreciate all the advice Maggie - thanks for the advice on sizing. Booked in, came back on our last day to get tatts. I had Kris do my tattoo. He was great - let me check out placement of tatt before I picked where suited me. Kris kept me calm during the process, answering all my questions. All the staff were awesome, loved the friendly banter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ my tattoo.

3 of us went in for tattoos. Artists Kris & Brian were absolutely amazing! While my daughter & SIL were experienced, it was my first time getting a tattoo. Kris was extremely chill & understanding & his humor made the experience more relaxing & enjoyable. Brian must have been just as great as my daughter fell asleep. Staff’s explanations were detailed & thorough throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this shop. If I were to ever get another tattoo, I’d definitely come back here.

Several of my family members, including myself got tattooed at Skin Deep on the last day of our vacation. Kris and Brian were amazing artists and so versatile in our varying requests. They executed every tattoo beautifully. Maggie was an absolute doll and was so helpful in explaining the process, and aftercare as well as keeping us all entertained while we waited our turns. 3 of my family got tattoos there today! 2 were done by Jay (sun and semper fi) and 2 done by kai! Two of us did a walk in and it was super easy and we were only there for around 30 minutes per tattoo! Staff was incredibly friendly and cool! Tattoos turned out awesome and we would absolutely recommend! Fair pricing as well!

Came over 2 months ago, 4 of us got tattoos that night. Everyone was super friendly and informative, definitely coming back if were lucky enough to go back to Hawaii.

The staff were very friendly. My husband and I explained what we wanted to the artist an and our intentions. Kai did well ensuring our tattoo was meaningful with a Hawaiian twist and within budget. He also made sure we were satisfied with the final result before explaining the aftercare routine. I’d definitely recommend seeing them if you are ever in the area Waikiki area!

Me and my husband got married in Hawaii and we decided to get tattoo for our wedding anniversary. Do not look any further if you need to get a tattoo. Ava was amazing, so friendly and she gave us her honest and professional opinion when it came to the design, size etc…a lot of tattoo places will just do whatever and the result may not be what you are looking for. We were so pleased with the results. The entire team at this location is amazing, we stopped by a few time before our appointment and always welcome with a smile, kindness. Highly recommended! My husband and I wanted His/hers tattoos and happened to be walking by. We were warmly welcomed in by Angie (I hope I got her name right). The Artist that worked on us was Irene who was actually helping out from the Netherlands. Loved her! She was patient, comforting and an all around awsome person. This is my fourth tattoo from Skin Deep in Waikiki! Maggie was very patient, kind & professional. She assisted me in my very specific needs and paired me up with Franco based on my requests. Franco is an Excellent tattoo artist. He listened to my requests and put together a gorgeous tattoo for me of Diamond Head with a banner beneath with the word ‘Aloha’! It looks amazing and Franco did incredible work. All four of my tattoos were done at Skin Deep, and it all started 20 years ago with Anna! They are both truly amazing artists!! 🤙

I was super impressed ! We have visited Hawaii for 8 years and I’ve really been wanting the islands tattooed on my shoulder, we stopped in and set and appointment up with Brian, he was awesome!!! Mr. Bronson helped my daughter and I, and it was great. Everyone was very professional and the whole experience was great. Daughter got her earlobes pierced and I had my left helix done.One warning, parking is DIFFICULT to find. Plan on arriving in the area at least 30 min early to find parking, then walking to the shop.

Maggie set the best vibes for a tattoo place and made sure we were truly aware and ready for vacation tattoos. My girlfriend and I got palm trees behind our ears and Crystal was quick and light handed. Easiest tattoo Ive ever gotten!

My wife and I both wanted to get tattoos to commemorate our first big family vacation to this beautiful island with our boys. My boys are huge into the sea turtles and I thought it very fitting to get a honu on my right calf. My wife has a half sleeve of our boys’ birth flowers and wanted to get a watercolor hibiscus. We had the best time doing this together. Although we both got many tattoos separately , this was the very first time we got inked together. It was incredible and they did fantastic work. Ive gotten three tattoos and my naval pierced from this shop and every experience has been a great one. All the staff is very professional and personable. I will be going back for all of my future tattoos and piercings.

This is THE place. Jay IS fabulous. They know how to find talent in this shop! I will be back! Been doing it right since the 70’s. Woman owned still to this day! When I was there someone came in saying someone that had tattoo from skin deep in the 80s that still look great referred them. 👌 The shop is cozy comfortable. Super organized front desk and professional. Refreshing, right? they have a sister shop just down a few blocks so they can get you in over there if they’re booked at this location.

I met with Bryan this morning to get a tattoo before going home. I’d provided an idea for a Polynesian turtle. Bryan did some changes to make it his unique work. I can’t say enough good things about how it turned out. He exceeded my expectations. The tattoo is amazing and will be a lasting memory of my first trip to Hawai’i. Im only giving this place 5 stars because the person who pierced my cartilage, Lia, was very reassuring, patient & very comforting. I was so nervous but she made the process so smooth and was helpful in answering all my questions. The place itself looks clean, hygienic & overall great. My only issue is the person in the front of the shop almost seemed annoyed and very careless to assist us.

Really great shop. Maggie answered all of questions about the process and our tattoo ideas. After we settled on designs she booked us in with Jay that evening.Jay was rad. All three of us had different style tattoos and she did really great work. I appreciated her guidance on color and she checked with me town to see how I was coping the entire time. Best shop in Hawaii! Everything from small simple flash work to large custom pieces. Got my first ink from Miss Anna 25 years ago on the mainland... and had to hunt her down in Hawaii to get some more work done!!!

This was my first tattoo and Carla Hopkins made it a wonderful experience. My husband and I were very satisfied with the way she designed and personalized our tattoos, and I was especially impressed with her color skills! We will definitely be coming back for future tattoos, and will be recommending this establishment as the place to go!

My family wanted to get tattoos to commemorate are long overdue trip to Hawaii. The staff there was extremely friendly and helpful in finding the perfect tattoos for each individual. I popped into Skin Deep on a whim and by far had the best experience I’ve ever had in a piercing shop. Both the gal working at the front desk and the piercer, Brit, were friendly and welcoming and excited to help my indecisive self pick out a fun new piece of jewelry to end 2023 with. Brit even took the time to counsel me on some custom jewelry I had ordered back home from a shop in Washington state that I’ve had some issues with. She was so generous with her time and knowledge. The shop was very clean (I’m a nurse and am very critical about cleanliness). I would HIGHLY recommend Brit and Skin Deep to anyone in need of new jewelry or a new piercing.

I absolutely ❤️ my tattoo so much. It turned out way better than I imagined. I got a Red Rose with a banner with my grandmas date of death and my grandpas date of death. Roses were her favorite.

This is the place! If youre looking for top notch artists and superb customer service. We were greeted by Maggie who was cheerful and helpful. She was patient and kind with our kids and entire family. Brian did our tattoos and far exceeded our expectations. He was knowledgeable, talented, and tells great stories. Our entire experience was the best anyone could ask for, from the first phone call where Maggie made us excited to come in and meet everyone, to the incredible tattoos, and entire environment and vibe while we were there. This is the best shop in town! I’ve gotten two tattoos done by Jay Palmer and she is absolutely amazing, she’s also done several tattoos for my friends and she knocks it out of the park every time! Piercing place is up front and you have to go thru the alley entrance for tattoos. Follow the cool mural around the corner, space is limited so no more than a few ppl inside at a time. My experience: literally last weekend-The shop was booked, we were trying to get two bookings for a small tat (traveled from TX and only in town for that weekend-had to leave bc covid restrictions were about to start) so we asked to be squeezed in if any cancelations came up-even if it was just one of us. We both got squeezed in and our artist was very sweet and accommodating. My 20yo son explained that he wanted the red star from Jojos anime, she looked up the actual template and made it happen. Pics are from the day of and 1wk later-no peeling, feels great! ALSO--the waves took my nose ring so I actually got help from both store fronts. You do need to have an appointment and I was thankful to be squeezed in on both storefronts inbetween clients. I purchased a titanium opal nose ring with a flat anchor and connecting on the outside gem--was basically $40 for the ring and staff installed it for me at no additional costSidenote: it was a *huge* deal for him to get the tat when he did... much love 💘 for all the staff who helped us-yall made our overseas trip that much more special to us!

After going to another local shop, Victorian Tattoo and getting jerked around, I ended up at Skin Deep. The shop is a lot nicer and the people are great! I was tattooed by Shawn. He was super decent and did a great job! Highly recommend!

Went to Skin Deep during the week to book our tattoo for a Thursday afternoon. The reception staff were absolutely incredible, incredibly helpful with everything and gave us 100% amazing service.My tattooist Brian tattooed a tribal poly dagger and his work is nothing less than perfect. His service throughout the tattoo and how he treated me was amazing. I more than recommend this tattoo parlour. Best quality service. I felt like family being in that store and left with the most positive experience I have ever had. I will be back and thank you all so much.

Skindeep Tattoo shop gave me the best experience for my first tattoo. I was very nervous and did not know what to expect but Barbara did an amazing job walking me through it. She was very accommodating and caring while she was tattooing. The tattoo it self came out highly detailed and was everything I asked for. I highly recommend her! Super easy online appointment system to schedule my dermals to be re-done. When I checked in, the employees were very welcoming and made sure I was aware of how much it’d cost and showed me jewelry options. Bronson was my piercer and was very thorough, aligned them to my liking, and explained some tips on piercing self care and what to do when they reject (if this is your first dermal, they’re not permanent piercings). Workspace was really clean and showed me as he opened the packaging. I would DEF come here again!

I went to two other shops looking for a Pushpin for my tragus to replace the one that fell in the ocean. Brit was AMAZING and got one in and had me on my way in no time. She also knew my piercer back home in Arizona at HTC and had all the warmth and knowledge I was used to with Nicola. Price was comparable to what Im used to and she did not charge for insertion. My husband got his nose ring replaced while we were there as well and he had a phenomenal experience. Go Brit!

Chris gave me and my bro lop some dope tats and drew them up exactly how we explained. Excellent experience all around. I got mine “and invited absolutely no one”.

My husband and I came for walk-in tattoos after being recommended to this shop by one down the road (green flag!). Maggie at the desk was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jay (our artist) had some of the crispiest lines and best attitude of any artist Ive worked with (7 so far). If we didnt live on the mainland, Id be making this my permanent tattoo home shop.

Process is very smooth here and very good artists. Availability was much better than home state. I got a cattle processing vibe from an older male artist which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5.

I’ve been in Hawaii on a long-term work assignment since May 1st. I decided I wanted to get a tattoo (my first one) while I was here that would commemorate the trip. My husband had a tattoo done there a few weeks before I did. We both had our work done by Barbara, who was nothing short of amazing. After seeing what she’d done for him I decided I wanted her to do my first tattoo. I came to her with an idea and wanted some changes to it to incorporate an outline of the islands. Barbara made a suggestion of how the islands should be incorporated as well as another element of the tattoo that I fell in love with immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the way the tattoo turned out. Everyone that we’ve dealt with has been absolutely amazing, including the piercing shop staff where I had my ears pierced. Danica did my piercings and she did a great job making sure they were symmetrical and making sure I knew how to take care of them after they were done. I’m so happy with the tattoo that Barbara did that my husband and I have appointments on Saturday to have another one done. I would definitely recommend this place very highly!

I walked in for a tattoo before flying home. They were able to get me in right away but I chose to wait until the next day because I still wanted to get in the ocean. Came back the next day and got my tattoo! It was expensive, but probably on par with Waikiki prices. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful.

I didnt get a tattoo here but a friend of mine did and the work was outstanding! When I finally decide to get one, Ill be going here! Also, their piercing staff were super friendly and helpful!

My sisters and I went here to get piercings and Mel was working at the front she was very sweet and helpful. She told us when we got there that since we didn’t have an appointment we’d have to wait an hour cause there was 4 people in front of us which we didn’t mind but the wait ended up being much shorter. When it was time to get our piercings Krista pierced all three of us and this was by far the best piercing experience that we all have had and we have plenty of other piercings. The piercing process was VERY smooth and Krista talked us through the whole thing. Her energy was very pleasant and she was extremely patient with us. I would definitely come here again.

My husband and I were walk-in clients a few hours before our flight home. The Skin Deep Tattoo team went out of their way to fit us in and provided such a great experience! The customer service was fantastic. I’ve been to a handful of tattoo shops where the artists are rude and don’t care to provide a pleasant experience for smaller jobs. We had the opposite experience at Skin Deep. Anna was fantastic to work with and we are so grateful she was able to fit us in!

Shawn made my tattoo experience one to remember in Waikiki! I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted and he made such an awesome design. Was a walk in late Friday night and he stayed back to do my tattoo, would highly recommend!

I came to Hawaii for a few weeks and wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate my trip. I got my tattoo done quick and easily after making an appointment. I was forced to get my dermal piercing taken out due to my body rejecting it. Was pretty deep in my skin and very painful. I was in tears , but the lady piercer was soo awesome! She did everything she could to help me and relieve my anxiety . Very calming and very sweet ! All the staff members were awesome !

After doing alot of research, this is the best tattoo shop in Hawii. Natalie makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in to the time you leave. I didnt feel rushed or uncomfortable at any moment. Bernardo was my tattoo artist and created an amazing custom realism tattoo. Shawn worked with my husband to merge his several ideas into a beautiful Polynesian turtle tattoo. This place is amazing. The cost is very competitive and worth every penny.

I got quoted 800+ for a tattoo at this shop. It will only cost 200-500 at the shop I actually booked an appointment at. Get a quote before booking😂😂

I am currently on vacation and lost a O-Ring for my 6 gauge septum pincher in the water. Ace was way too far to walk, so I googled piercing shops and this was the first one to have what I needed. 10 pairs of O-Rings for 5 bucks, what a steal! People were extremely sweet. The shop smells clean and has an awesome presentation. I wish I was here long enough to have more experience for this shop, but I am glad to have found a shop willing to kindly help me last minute. I got my nostril & septum pierced by Krista & she* is so amazing!! Im autistic & very nervous but the experience provided at this place is comforting. They made sure to ask & answer every question. My piercings were painless during healing & they are flawless. I will be returning to be pierced again ❤️

Went to one of there location to get piercing done. Felt unwelcome the minute we walked in. Requested piercing and was told their piercing tech was located at their sister store a few blocks down the street. Arrived at the sister location and told to go to the original location I had just came from b/c the tech was there. Felt disregarded and disappointed in the lack of clarity from both shops. Not sure if they have talented artist but service could be much better.

Skin Deep, specifically Kris Miller, will absolutley be who I go to for the rest of my tattoos. I have been tattooed by him a couple of times now and I could not have asked for a more understanding, talented, and kind artist. Everyone in the shop is so sweet and welcoming and just makes me feel at home. Devlin at the front has been very helpful every time I need to make an appointment or come into the shop. I love tattoos and each one I get means so much to me and Kris has a way of taking my thoughts and putting them into a beautiful design that I could have never thought of. 10/10 would reccomend this shop!!

I feel they scam tourists cuz I asked for a sea turtle the tattoo guy show me the size, I choose the size, he told me that its gonna be between 200-250$ and finally got a smaller one and charged me 268$! And it wasnt what I asked for! Dont go there, the sea turtle is not as nice as it was supposed to be! I now need to go get covered up....😤

My family (4) and myself got tattoos the night before we left Hawaii (6/16). The staff were awesome, Sean Jen and Scott were our artists. The front desk person that night was Devlin, she was very sweet and helpful. The artist are very talented and help you create the tatto you want and we’re patient with us. This was my first piercing, safe to say I made a good decision coming here! Staff was friendly and welcoming, I had the pleasure of Taryn piercing my nose. She was super kind and patient, especially because I have troubles with needles. Everything was very sterile and clean; proper care was taken prior and after the piercing. Thank you Taryn! He ended up doing a custom peace and it came out better than what I came in with. Been here twice now because I just moved to the island and needed to find a new piercer. Both of the piercers were professional and friendly. Tony really helped me figure out what was best for my forward helix after I ripped it out twice, and now it can heal happily. Will be coming back to this place in the future! Everyone is so friendly and it’s a really calm and clean environment. Not to mention, I got a same day appointment both times!

My son and I wanted to get a tattoo as a memento to our epic Hawaii trip. The shop was very helpful and professional. We presented our ideas, and the artist drew up a concept drawing that surpassed our ideas. They both turned out amazing! I highly recommend this shop.

The only place I will go to for a tattoo! I have had 2 pieces done by Jen Bradbury and she is AMAZING! The first one, I had an idea of what I wanted. I met with Jen and we discussed it, I showed her a generic picture I found of the direction I was thinking. She listened to what I was saying, and asked questions. She came up with a design that was perfect! It was simple but had so much meaning behind it from what I had told her.My second one is equally as perfect. The colour work is incredible and I get comments all the time as to how beautiful the colours are done.My sister and a friend visiting also got pieces from Jen and are also thrilled by them.

I wish I could say this tattoo shop exceeded my expectations but that unfortunately is not the case; My husband and I went here a week ago and my tattoo is nothing like it was supposed to be. It’s starting to scar extremely badly and it’s a huge disappointment; I could’ve and should’ve gotten this tattoo from my Artist I always go to but it was a honeymoon tattoo my husband and I got together. I also added a photo of what my tattoo should have looked like. Smh.

As one that has many tattoos, I was looking for a specific type and price isnt as important as the service. You close at 10pm according to the receptionist, it was 8pm and her customer service was very rude.. to the point that I want to give a second chance until she rolled her eyes directly at me. When I asked if I should make an appointment or just walk in, she stated whatever I like (???). Then I made my choice and was advised it was to late in the evening (why didnt you say that in the first place?)Sad to say you lost out on a $400 service.due to your rude receptionist with green hair.Im sure your artists are more personable.

The staff was so friendly and professional. They were very straight forward with all the information about my piercings, the process, and the paperwork. Tony did my piercings, and he was very kind and professional, which made the experience as a whole very positive. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and talked me through the process. Easy to trust, knowledgeable people with an awesome selection of jewelry. I will definitely be going back if I want any more piercings. Maybe next time Ill get a tattoo!

I love this shop. Right in the heart of Waikiki and it has such a cool, clean, and overall dope vibe. Had to stop in while on vacation to get my nose ring retainer put in to do some excursions. Had it changed twice both times the piercers & staff were all friendly, quick, and professional. Great experience starting from my first phone call a few weeks back and ending with our visit today. My daughter turned 7 today and she has been begging to get her ears pierced for awhile. My first experience at Skin Deep was about 15 years ago to get a belly ring piercing and it was absolutely amazing. Today I returned to get a double tragus piercing and again the entire staff was absolutely amazing!!! Tony did my piercing and he took the time to talk to me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. He spoke to me in a very calm and reassuring manner to let me know what to expect as he walked me through the process. After deciding to get a double piercing in one ear I started to second guess myself only to realize that he had done both before I ever knew it. My posts are lined up perfectly and look amazing!!! I couldn’t ask for anything better or more. I appreciate everyone taking the time with my friend and I to assist us with exactly what we came in for and not just trying to make a sale!!! Amazing experience getting my first tattoo!While on vacation we found this place on Google Maps and decided to check them out. I was pretty sure I would have had to make an appointment in advance, but we thought wed go check it out anyway. As we were making our way to the location, we saw you have to walk down an alley to get to this shop. My husband thought it looked sketchy and was surprised I didnt back out, but I was trying to stay open minded. The moment we walked in the door, everyone was SO kind and helpful. The place was very clean, and the bathrooms were the nicest, and cleanest, that we saw on our entire vacation! We discussed what I was looking for, and our plans for the remainder of our vacation. Since we had a snorkeling expedition scheduled for the following morning, we made an appointment for the following afternoon since you cant swim with fresh tattoos.I was so nervous, but Tamara took very good care of me! She told me she would just do a single dot and stop so I could process what I was feeling, and we would keep going only when I was ready. It was a strange type of pain, hard to predict or explain, but not bad enough for me to change my mind. She told me I could have a break any time I needed. The whole tattoo took about 15 minutes, and I only asked for one break in the middle to take a quick sip of my water. I really wanted to just get through it as quickly as possible. I was so surprised when she said we were all done - and it turned out SO beautiful! I would recommend Tamara to anyone, although everyone here was so kind and welcoming Im sure they all do great work. No regrets at all!

Really great experience, I was tattooed by Kris. He incorporated and military insignia with a traditional Hawaiian armband and some traditional turtels I wanted. Super professional great designs.

I rate this place five stars. Very professional. I got a fairly simple design on my forearm and I like how it came out. Not that I cant stand pain, but it didnt really even hurt. Highly recommend.

Great services and exactly on time. You have to get a appointment because they are so busy, but the prices arent that bad. Big selection for all types of piercing not too bad of a price also 40 for the job( nose piercing) and 30-100 on the piece you want which isnt bad.

Went for a daith piercing and had a terrific experience. Everything was fully explained, Bronson (guest piercer) checked in with me as to placement and aftercare. Didnt hurt, just a bit of pressure. Amazing selection of quality jewelry from BVLA! Bronson was very patient, knew his stuff and was willing to answer any question I had, making sure I was comfortable and happy with my decision. They have been in Business since 1979 (if I remember correctly), opened and owned by an older Lady. That has to say something if a female opens up a tattoo shop in the late 70s and here we are now in 2021 and still running strong with a very good rep.SKIN DEEP TATTOO......just awesome in everything (vibe, customer service, artists,price ) very down to earth place and everyone there love what they are doing and dont mind going the extra mile or staying over past closing hours.Thank you so much to Scott and this very friendly, funny lady at the desk.

I just went to get my nipples pierced yesterday and my experience was amazing! The customer service was great, the store was clean, and my piercer was fantastic. I freaked out a little bit and they got me through it great! I am very satisfied with this store and would recommend it to anyone. And I didn’t have to wait at all to get it done. Just walked in and got right to it!

We went in with no appointment and were leaving that night to head home. They were great about accommodating us and getting us both taken care of. Barbara was our artist and she was awesome. Actually they all were. Very friendly and just generally awesome.

Bad customer service. They will make you feel forced to buy and get annoyed if you ask too many questions or change your mind. They have no education and knowledge on their products. Didnt inform me either that its ALL SALES FINAL on body jewelry. No one answers the phone either so now Im stuck with a $50 post thats SO short it doesnt even fit completely through my ear!!!! Their jewelry is a complete rip off! Belly rings were $150 other studs were $350! One cubic zirconia stud that was 1mm was $190!!!! Completely outrageous!!! Bunch of haoles own this place too, support local and go to other shops with better customer service and more reasonable prices!

Got my lip pierced on Sunday. Staff was very friendly, place was clean.Tony the piercer was pretty cool. Even though I told him I had my lip pierced before, he still reminded me how to take properly take care of my piercing. That just shows how well he take his job seriously. Thanks skin deep

The piercer did an AMAZING job. Super nice people and great placement.The piercings were very expensive but fir quality work and jewelry. I got two ear lobe piercings (2 on each ear so 4 total) and one nose piercing and my total was $250. Usually shops will only charge you one piercing fee if you are getting earrings because its common to do both sides but i guess this place doesnt do that.

Got my lobes pierced here, did a walk in, waited maybe 10 minutes between the paperwork and setup. Very quick, Tony was very professional, and swift with the process. Barely felt anything, and he was detailed in the care instructions. Will definitely recommend the shop to friends!

My wife and I stopped in to get a feel for the shop and ended up discussing some ideas we had, got great feedback and decided to book some time with Pyro. We booked on a Sunday and were coming in on Wednesday to have the work performed. My wife and I talked about ideas we had that slightly changed things up a little and were planning on discussing them when we came in for our appointment. When we arrived and saw the sketches, they had already incorporated our “changes” which was awesome! Pyro did two for my wife and one for me and it couldn’t have been a better scene. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and Pyro crushed the artwork! I’ll be waiting for anymore body art until I come back to Skin Deep…Thank you!

I had Scott do a tribal tattoo on my left arm he hand drew it had to do a cover up came out so good loved it so much had him do my right arm next day did a chest arm tribal tattoo came out so great Scott is an amazing tattoo artist

Went here with my wife while on vacation. Relaxed atmosphere and great service. Tattoo artists were amazing. We even went back the next day for a little more ink before we left Hawaii.

Jen was great! The shop was nice and clean and bright. It was open til midnight, and they take walk-Ins, so our spur of the moment Hawaiian ink was done within an hour! Thanks, guys, for my daughters stingray! Its beautiful!!!

Took my husband to Waikiki to walk around since it was his time in Oahu (I’m from Kauai, he’s from Phoenix and we were visiting) His nose ring had closed up after I made him take it out for our wedding.. Tony greeted us, opened up his piercing and we were done in no time, but sat and chatted with Tony, who moved from Phoenix! Such a cool shop, Tony was awesome and I’d love to get tatted there one day! 2 shakas up! ;)

While on vacation, i decided to get a piercing. From the moment i walked in the lady at the front desk (fellow scorpio) was very welcoming and helpful. The shop was clean and well-kept. Tony did my piercing and it turned out great. I am very pleased, he made sure everything was in the right place and would work for my body. 10 mins later i was on my way with a smile on my face and slight pain in my nether regions.Wish i had time on this trip for a tattoo but WILL DEFINITELY be back on the next trip. I just had a tattoo done by Anna and I am in love with it! I am visiting the city and the shop was able to fit me right in. The atmosphere in the shop was awesome and Anna was the best. Thank you Anna for a perfect experience and making my tattoo happen exactly as I envisioned it, while teaching me a little bit about the Hawaiin language. 😊 Anybody who is looking for a tattoo on Oahu should come to this shop!

I was a walk-in on a Thursday afternoon to get piercings. I knew it would be a bit of a wait just because the shop is always busy and they do such great work. Tony took care of me and was very knowledgable and skilled at his craft triple checking that he makes sure the piercings were where I wanted so it made me more relaxed (I am not a fan of needles lol). I highly recommend for first time or experienced people who want piercings done to go to Tony at skin deep 🤙

Great place to get your next Tatto! The service was excellent no pressure no hassle and reasonable prices. They have a great selection of artists from something simple to more detailed. We wish we had more time but maybe on our next trip. Thanks guys!

All the staff are great I was nervous because it was my first tattoo and they were all up bringing and kinda and made me feel safe.

Hedrick did my girlfriends ear piercing and made us feel very welcome! Gave us the whole rundown on pricing and the procedure. He even checked to see if her existing piercing was fully healed before he charged her anything. Sent her off with a cleaning and care kit! Im thinking of getting my upper ear pierced and will definitely have him do it! 🤙
