Mike and the Soul Signature team have always been great. They treat people like family as soon as you walk in. Mike did an amazing job with my tattoo. The process of my tattoo took 4 sessions.

Aisea was awesome. He did an amazing traditional tapping tattoo on my left forearm. It was a very spiritual experience and I couldnt be happier with his work. I highly recommend Soul Signature Tattoo.

I’ve waited a long time for a traditional tattoo. I was so glad to find Sua. The location of the shop is awesome. Totally welcoming while waiting, the amazing view will leave you speechless. One of the most professional but chill shops I have been in. Sua is a fantastic person, I met a couple of his family members as well while at the shop. They were also wonderful people. Let me start by saying that this place wasnt where I expected it to be. I was a bit sketched out on my way up to have my tattoo done. But once I arrived at the shop, I realized that I had a very good view of Honolulu and that the shop was extremely clean! My artist Mike did my tattoo and he did a phenomenal job. This was my second tattoo and this tat went smoother than my last one that I had done in Texas. Mike paid attention to detail, made sure that I was relaxed, and took his time. Not to soak up money, but to make sure that it was done right. When I go back to Honolulu again, I plan on having another one done by him. Thanks again Mike.

Ive had 3 pieces done here by lopeti. All the work here is authentic and they do traditional tapping by appointment only. My go-to spot.

I worked with Nandi to set up my tapping tatau for when we were in Honolulu. I had a consultation the second day we were there. Followed by the tapping the last full day we were there, to make sure it didnt get wet. Aisea was a fantastic guy!! He made sure I was comfortable the entire time. If we ever make it back that way my wife would like to get one and I would definitely get more tapping done as well.

I live on the mainland now and Ive been coming back here for about 5 years- Thats how good they are.They do amazing work and really listen to you and guide, not tell, you towards the best possible options. The shop is always clean as well.My first tattoo here years ago took almost 6 hours and the entire time they were so kind, funny, professional, and constantly offered to get me a drink or snack to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I get all my tattoos done by Eugene (hes the man) but all the artists here are amazing. They really help each other out and you can tell its like a family atmosphere. I ALWAYS recommend soul signature to my friends and family.

I contacted Soul Signature to have a traditional tap tattoo done. Tattooing is very important to me and when I met with Aisea, he was very interested in my planned tattoos and designed my tattoo to harmonize. I had the tattoo done yesterday and it was fantastic. He was kind and Leilani was also wonderful. I have a beautiful, important to me and gorgeous contemporary Polynesian tattoo. My husband had a gorgeous lighthouse tattoo completed by Mike. The tattoo is extremely well done, arranged and completed. Were visiting from the Midwest and have a number of tattoos - I would highly recommend this shop. They put their heart into their work and it shows.

A traditional tapping tattoo from Sua Suluape Toetu’u Aisea is hands down the coolest thing I have ever done. The spiritual and personal experience is unparalleled. Amazing beautiful work and the entire shop delivers the definition of aloha spirit. Will return every time we are on the island!

Best tattoo experience for my husband and myself in 2014. My husband had an amazing tatau cultural experience with Sua Suluape Toetuu, Aisea. I myself, had a more modern experience. We have lived in many places since 2014 and our love for Soul Signature is always on our lips when telling our story and experience with Soul Signature. My husband was given a shirt in 2014 and it has pukas with forever stains on it now but it will never be thrown away. Its very special to my husband.We are back on Oahu for good and planting roots and about to achieve and accomplish a major milestone and would love to have Kahuna Tatau to tell the story on my skin. Quality work! I cant say enough about the piece I got from Aisea, masterfully blended an old piece I had with the new; using both machine and tapping.This place does look a bit out of sorts from the outside. I did have the advantage of observing quite a few interactions in my very long appointment. The staff was very polite and respectful to everyone that came through the door. Negative vibes were kept to a low.I was impressed to see the number of return customers coming in, who had just come back to the island. I was even more impressed how well he remembered their clients even some from as far as three years back.As I said before, not enough positive things can be said about the shop. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking to get a good piece done.

Great price, especially for the amount of work that they put in. Shout-out to Lopeti for the design that he came up with. All of the artists seem to be friends and chat, giving the place a friendly atmosphere. They even stayed open two hours late for me to finish up a four hour tattoo and even used the piece I had on my chest to work with the one I got on my shoulder. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Last week I was in Hawaii on business and wanted to finish a tattoo that was only a word fro many years earlier. I walked into the shop not knowing what to expect. To my surprise Mike and the team were happy to help walk me through the options and make an appointment that was convenient. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and the staff at Soul Signature. I would use them again any time!!!

I visited the place on a friends recommendation and got hooked. Super friendly, easy to find, the place is extremely clean and welcoming. I had a quick consultation with Lopeti and was scheduled for 2 days later as I was going back home shortly after. Lopeti is an amazing artist, I couldnt love my tattoo more than I do! I only told him a few things about myself and what I was very vaguely looking for and let him work his magic. He has a very gentle touch and was encouraging when things got more painful. I will definitely go back and add to my already stunning leg piece!! I would give the place 10 stars if I could! Mahalo!

If you want top notch quality work, go here. They are talented and in magazines and are very well known! Call ahead to work out the details of your appointment and you can leave Hawaii with an awesome souvenir. Weve been there 4 times already!

Very friendly artists. Very professional. They make sure they have your exact design how you want it. I have gotten 2 tattoos from here and will continue to get any other pieces done here. They will redraw your design till its the way you like it and will ask the other artists in the shop to make sure lines are straight, the design looks right, and if the placement is perfect.

My husband and I got some really great artwork done at Soul Signature in Feb. 2016, Kyle was the tattoo artist and he did a great job. The shop was very clean and the atmosphere was great.. All the tattoo artist in the shop are very polite, have a great sense of humor and are really great tattoo artists, I cant wait to go back for more art work next year.. Love Soul Signature. Was in Hawaii for the first time 2 weeks ago. Waited til the last night before we left to get a tattoo. We went in to get my husbands first tattoo and was met by Popetti. He listened to what he wanted and did a hand drawing on his shoulder Polynesian style. Beautiful piece of art!!! I myself had Kyle and he did a hybiscus on my ankle which is beautiful also. Le lani was very accommodating & friendly too. She assured my husband he would get a nice piece that he would be proud of. It definitely boosted his confidence since he was a little nervous. I would highly recommend Soul Signature to anyone. Now back in Houston, Tx & cant find anyone that can do the Polynesian style tatoos. My name is Oliver and Ive just got tattoo by Lopeti with a polynesian tattoo on my back.First, normaly i dont let any review but since getting a tattoo is a great step for some people, like me, i feel like i have to do it. Because Im really really really glad i chose Soul Signature. Im so proud of my tattoo now. Its all I wanted, its meaningful, unique and beautiful.Second of all, since i dont know any other tattoo shop, i can only relate my own experience and so i dont say these guys are the best, but what i know from what i observed is that you can go and get tattoo with closed eyes at Soul Signature Tattoo.So, I arrived at Soul Signature with the main meaning, the kind of tattoo and a picture of something really close of what I wanted.Lopeti looked at the picture for a long period of time. Actually, he was already memorising the picture and visualizing how to appropriate the tattoo to make my tattoo unique.In fact, in contrary to others, when it was my time to get tattooed, he didnt look a single time at the picture when he drew the first part. Inside of me, i was a little scared.but then I looked at the draw in the mirror and I was astonished, amazed.My girlfriend who attended at all time said to me that he was completely absorded by what he was doing. He was in a high state of concentration.The result is just fantastic to me.Lopeti is really à great artist. And as said in others reviews, he is nice, steady and very humble. Thats the man for the job.Furthermore, the atmosphere inside the shop is really perfect. It makes you at ease and releases the stress you can have. and all the artists are really interested by the work of the other. If they feel so, they give their point of view to the artist. So you can feel that they are all concerned about you. Maybe Thats not the case for all tattoos but Thats the feeling I have for mine.

Amazing experience! I came in for a consultation after having researched the history behind Suluape Aisea and his passion for this art. I believe as many do that the person creating the images on your soul are as important as the tattoos themselves. I didnt allow enough time to book with Suluape Aisea however I had the pleasure of meeting his student Kyle, who ended up doing my tattoo. This is my third piece and a substantial area to be worked on. Kyle is one of the most creative and artistic individuals Ive ever met. I shared my thoughts, what things have the greatest meaning in my life and how I wanted it represented. Kyles work is nothing less than immaculate. While I was getting my tattoo done, I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting Suluape Aisea. He is a caring and gentle soul, passionate about his art and a genuine gentleman. Kyle gives credit to his teacher Suluape Aisea for the art he has learned and this is not just a tattoo shop, this is a spiritual place where the bodys creation is a reflection of your inner soul. I got my first tattoo here last week and am so happy that I got it at Soul Signature Tattoo! I was really nervous waiting for my consultation but as soon as I saw Aisea my anxiety went away. Vinnette was a great help in getting the appointment set and helping me feel prepared for my tattoo. I got my tattoo tapped and thought the whole experience was amazing! Aisea and I talked about why I wanted a tattoo and he came up with the design. I am so in love with my tattoo, what it represents, and the experience I went through to get it. Couldnt recommend Soul Signature Tattoo and Aisea enough!

My son got a tat for his 18 birthday. Wanted something to Express his coming of age and graduation from high school. Told him we wanted to do it in 3 phases. Arm, pec, n back or should blade as he reaches his accomplishments n stages in his life. So this tat would be a tattoo in progress n would have meaning to him and us as a family. Too many just start tats for no reason as a fad. But polys as a culture had meaning to their tattoos. W e trusted Aisea and wanted a polynesian tat that would reflect the 1st stage of his life as a hawaiian but giving respect to all polynesian cultures n embracing it. We trusted Aisea with coming up with a design. He sat and talked with him and spent quite a bit of time just building off of his mana. Then drew it out on his arm. A beautiful reflection of polynesian roots n culture. They will not duplicate someone elses tat. I saw that first hand when a guy wanted the rocks tat done. He was told no. What they did was a version of his own. Respect. Dont copy tattoos. Not cool. Thankful we got Aisea Toetuu. Hes the real deal. Good man inside n out. Now my son completed his 2nd phase of his life. He graduated from college. Its been 5 years. He plans to get his peck done by Aisea.

Great place, good people. Very friendly and helpful. I have returned many times and my artist makes sure everything is okay. Would definitely recommend people to go here and see what these professionals can do.

Wish I could give zero stars, but its not an option so 1 it is. Made an appointment, put down a $60 deposit. It states on their appointment slips if you cancel before 24 hours of the appointment you can get your deposit back. I had to cancel the appointment and did so before the 24 limit and they refused to give me back my deposit. Justin, who I had the appointment with was rude and disrespectful over the phone, basically telling.ke Oh well, too bad so sad youre not getting your money back. Go at your own risk.
