Oahu’s Rockstar tattoo gets **10** out of five stars from me, I feel this is Honolulu’s number one tattoo shop, definitely a gem!!! how is this place not Packed with people every time I come in here? Connor is very friendly and My Artist The lovely Ms. Ellie, has far surpassed my expectations. I love the work she did on my skin, very professional, kind and clean. Her work is solid, sharp and heals beautifully. Highly recommend seeing her for your next tattoo! What are you waiting for book an appointment with Ellie seriously! And did I mention she’s very light handed? That is Compared to a lot of the artists who worked on me the last 25+ years.

Since 2012 when I know I’m going to be on Oahu, I plan any art I’m considering to correspond with that trip just to have Conor ink the piece. I have received only the best work at Rockstar and Conor has always taken the time to listen to what I am trying to envision then takes all those ideas and thoughts to create the perfect finished piece. I get ink done everywhere work travel takes me and Conor is hands down the most professional and talented artist. I have more art from him now than any other tattooist and absolutely no regrets. His studio is clean and well organized, he is accommodating for schedule, and takes the time to get your wishes where and how you want. My most recent work he planned & designed before I even arrived on the island! I can recommend Conor at Rockstar for your tattoo and piercing with absolute confidence.

I got my nipples pierced here and a nose nose ring! The piercer was amazing and super professional. He was quick and very accommodating to all my questions. Overall 10/10 experience. Completely recommend!

I came here without an appointment to get my septum pierced by Conor.I have had my septum pierced over the years a few times. Conor is the first to really take the time to assess my septum and really feel out the best location.I requested the piercing be done with a 10 gauge to meet my own personal styling. I had remembered this being extremely painful in the past, but this was barely even felt. After 2 days, I wouldnt even know it had just been done or healed for years. It is much easier to take care of a fresh piercing when it doesnt feel like one.This was definitely my favorite and easiest piercing experience.

Ive gone to Rock Star tattooing for both piercings and tattoos. Conner and Ellie are so nice and good at what they do. I recommend them and will be back myself.

I could not be any happier with the service I experienced and the tattoo I ended up with. I walked in with a general idea of what I wanted, and was surprised at how welcoming everyone was. I showed Conor what I wanted, he gave me some feedback, and quickly started working on the stencil. Within 30 minutes he was done with the stencil and we started the tattoo process. During which they put on Stranger Things for me to watch. Throughout the tattooing I had many questions and Conor professionally answered each and cleared any doubts and confusion I had. I really love that he used his own perspective, expertise, and experience to touch up my idea and plan. It looks better than I could have ever imagined and will most definitely come back for more. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Thanks again Rockstar!

I got a memorial tattoo in honor of my mom and I know she would have loved it. My artist Connor was very patient and gentle, he’s very perceptive of how you’re doing and feeling. Love my tattoo so much, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Me and my 5 friends were walk-ins for ear piercings and it was such a great experience. The price was very reasonable and it was quick. Connor helped all 6 of us and was great and helpful. We would definitely go again!

My friend and I were walk-ins at Rock Star while on a choir trip 3 weeks ago from Oregon and got our first tattoos here! Connor was absolutely fantastic and patient with us the entire time we were there. He had snacks and sugar on hand which was great for me when I got dizzy a few minutes into my tattoo. He designed my tattoo (native Oregon wildflowers) on the spot for me from a couple of reference photos for the type of linework I wanted and it took no time at all. His assistant (Im so sorry I cant remember her name!) drew my friends tattoo (ATLA symbols) while he worked and it turned out great.The building does look a bit sketchy from the outside, but the studio was very clean and welcoming. Rock Star is cash only so be sure to bring some (there is an ATM in the small shop downstairs if you forget) and remember to tip your artists! If I ever return to Hawaii, I absolutely will come back here. Highly recommend!

I got my tattoo while I was traveling and it was one of the best things about the trip.

I was lucky enough to get a last minute appointment before flying home and Manuel did a fantastic job. Cool vibe in the shop and the artist took his time paying attention to detail. I will be back next time Im in town. Thanks fellas.

Would highly recommend! I was so nervous, but Connor was fantastic. I had 2 piercings done and they were done very swiftly and efficiently. Everything very clean and all the other staff are very welcoming too! Thanks for a great experience - cannot wait for them to heal!

Very clean and friendly environment! Very professional! Prices are very reasonable. Conor did a fantastic job on my wife and I turtle tattoos. The other person there did an awesome job of the piercings for my daughters. (Sorry cant remember his name) We will be back for another one on our next visit to Oahu, Hawaii

Rockstar was amazing! Great customer service especially for walk in! Lazarus was a wonderful artist and very entertaining during the entire time getting my first tattoo. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone wanting ink in Honolulu. Epic work guys, keep it up!!!

Had my flat piercing fall out and stopped her to get a replacement earring. Walked in and got a new one with no problem. Easy in and easy out! Place felt clean and the staff were so helpful and kind in getting me situated.

Got three tattoos here from two artists and they were super cool guys. We got matching sharks for my daughter because we left her at UH... if you want Quality ink check these guys out.

So amazing! Called all over O’ahu for a VCH piercing and Indica was amazing she talked to me over the phone and told me everything I needed to know, fast forward I came in to consult with Connor and was so nervous as this is my first piercing (other than my ears) and he gave me my piercing so swiftly it didn’t even hurt. Was more of a shock effect. He showed me the needle and everything before he pierced me and indica was right there with me making me feel comfortable. Will definitely be back! Awesome shop with awesome people! ♥️

Loved it here! I was nervous about getting my peircing but they calmed me down and made sure I was okay throughout the whole thing! I got my industrial and conch pierced 10/10 would go again!

Back in April we were in Hawaii again for tatoos and Conor was great! Nicest guy ever and did an amazing large parrot cover up over an old rose tatoo on my back shoulder . Damn he did a great job .3 hours of pain was so worth it !! Thank you guys !

Lazarus was awesome. Gave him some designs we liked and he really designed them to suit us.. Very clean and professional.

Spoke with a guy on the phone just to ask couple piercing questions before going in and he sounded uninterested and irritated. That changed my mind on going into the shop.

Great place! good prices! first shop I went to said my upper lip was too small to get a double medusa but this shop was able to do it just fine for an even cheaper price!
