I love this shop. Ive had numerous piercings done here, starting back in 2017. Theyve come a long way in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for their diverse clientele. I dont feel like Im asking stupid questions. They dont rush me on jewelry selection or placement approval. They are even great with kids! The one piercing I got elsewhere (also a popular shop) was done incorrectly, became embedded and I had to run to Supernatural to fix it. Lesson learned. Cant wait for my next one.

After a recommendation from a friend I took my 8 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. It was such a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The place was super clean and you can tell they take your health and safety seriously. They even sent us home with the sharpie they used to draw the dots on her ears. Clay was so kind and talked with my daughter about what he was doing & going to do. He thoroughly explained how she needs to take care of her piercings. She got a little dizzy and felt funny when everything was done and he made she she was okay and talked with her until she felt better. If you have littles wanting their ears pierced, I highly recommend Supernatural Body Piercing. Thanks for the great experience.

I got pierced by Casey yesterday, she (as well as the rest of the staff) made me feel so comfortable and very informed! Everyone was very kind and professional, and I feel the price was very reasonable for their high quality jewelry and work. I would definitely get pierced by Casey again, and would recommend Supernatural to anyone interested in getting a piercing!

Supernatural is my go to piercing studio! It is super clean, professional, and appointment only (which I appreciate). Clay and Adam do great work and the people working the jewelry counter are always so helpful and patient. Clay did my daith piercing and Adam did my conch piercing. I appreciate they guide you to pick appropriately sized jewelry for new piercings and dont pressure you to pick the most expensive jewelry they have. That being said, a new piercing and jewelry can be an expensive adventure, but in my opinion, is worth it. Supernatural is a great place to take younger kids for their first piercing, all the way up to more seasoned people and piercings! Thanks for being awesome Supernatural!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the level of customer service. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. While letting me know what chains and charms wouldn’t work for my piercing.I am pleased with my ear chain and am excitedly waiting for my custom BVLA order to come in

Three months ago I got my daith pierced. I have received other lobe piercings here that healed well. This piercing however, was pierced wrong and is too deep into my ear. It is below the daith and because it is pierced this way it will not heal. I originally wanted a different piercing but was told it would not work with my anatomy. I was hesitant about getting a daith piercing, but I was pressured by the female piercer to do so.I am not taking this piercing out. I went in two months ago to have the jewelry changed because I thought that was the cause of the swelling. A different piercer looked at the piercing and either did not notice the swelling and wrong placement, or did not mention the wrong placement.I am no longer going to go to Supernaturals for piercings and I encourage others to do your research before piercing.

Came in and got my daith, helix and upper lobe pierced by Mars! The placements are perfection, I love it. I also loved her rendition of Casual, I think she said its by Chaperone. It comes with that specific combination of piercings, apparently. Performance was definitely a plus. Very great. Definitely returning in the future

I wish I could give them 5 stars, because I love Clay. He did my septum and was incredible. Informative, gentle, and I adore him.However, they have an apprentice who I have had several bad run ins with, so I can no longer write it off as a bad day. She was really impatient, rude, and judgemental. There was no eye contact, barely any actual conversation (I barely learned her name), and a lot of chatting with coworkers rather than engaging with her paying client. She didnt treat a friend of mine like that who is already heavily pierced, but has treated me and four other people that I know personally really grossly. Part of me thinks it may be because I had a jewelry appointment with her instead of a piercing appointment, but she was the same way to one of the four who got a simpler ear piercing.Call me a stickler, but if your job is stabbing metal through various parts of nervous peoples bodies, I expect a kinder and more mature bedside manner. I would love to go back, but not until she leaves.

Highly recommend!! We had a group appointment with Adam and it was perfect. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything for us. He made sure we were happy with our placement of our piercings and provided his advice which was much appreciated. They use implant grade titanium and had so many good options for all of us. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the appointment was easy to book. They were also very quick to answer questions we submitted through the website. All four of us are so happy with our piercings and don’t have a negative thing to say about Supernatural. Would definitely recommend!!

Such a wonderful experience. Took our 12 year old twins for their first lobe piercing and it was such a great experience. Jona was great to work with when picking out earrings and general questions- I greatly appreciate that the jewelry is surgical grade because the family history of sensitive skin and skin allergies is crazy. Clay did an awesome job going through after care and the actual piercing process. My husband ended up getting an old cartlidge piercing re-done and I will be going back for the flat back earrings!

This place and specifically Clay, came highly recommended. All the staff was super friendly, made me feel really welcome and they were knowledgeable. They have an amazing selection of jewelry too. I was incredibly nervous for the piercing I was getting but Clay talked me through it and I could tell he not only knew his stuff but that he loves what he does. He made me feel really comfortable and put me at ease. I absolutely loved my experience and cant wait to come back for more.

I had a great experience at Supernatural and really enjoyed working with Adam. He made sure I understood each step of the piercing process and what to expect, answered all of my questions, and gave clear instructions on how to care for the piercing afterwards. Great experience! Clay was my piercer, very knowledgeable and professional. You can tell he has literally decades of experience, so if you’re at all apprehensive, picking this shop is a no-brainer.

I went in for a consultation about changing my jewelry, and there was one woman in particular that I personally felt did not have a very good attitude towards what she was doing. My opinion and concern was blatantly ignored, and the attitude was uncalled for. I asked for a second opinion and was bypassed in anything I had to say For the reasoning that I had not had them for six months. I felt like I wasn’t being listened to when knowing how my healing process is and what jewelry works best for me. I’m sure the Piercing aspect Is much better, but I went in Months after receiving my piercings. I was able to go to another piercer who was willing to listen To me and replace my piercing with jewelry I Felt was more suitable. Since then My piercing has basically entirely healed. I know My healing process Is not The same as everyone else’s And some people do have to wait at least six months, but with that in mind, I felt as though I had no say.

Came here as a group to all get piercings, and it was AMAZING!! Everyone we met was so nice, and really made our experience comfortable.I like that its appointment only so the professionals have their focus on you and your needs, and you feel like youre not being rushed to choose. We redid the placement of my bridge piercing probably 6 times because I felt comfortable and encouraged to speak up by our piercer (and shop owner) Clay!Big variety of jewelry too if you want cool stuff! Prices were fair and included aftercare saline spray, a shop sticker, an aftercare guide, and a free sharpie hahaThanks so much, we will be coming back :)!

Walked in to get a gift card for my daughter. I had to wait a bit since they were busy. I walked around and the store was super nice, with so many cool art pieces, jewelry, pictures, etc. . I see why my daughter and her friends like this place. I got some good information from the clerk and got the gift card for the amount needed. I will be back after Christmas with my kid. Thanks.

We have now had 2 sessions here and they have been absolutely fantastic, my daughter has been nervous both times and has gotten 4 piercings in those sessions. They have set her mind at ease every time, they are courteous, professional, and extremely personable!

Supernatural has a variety of piercings in different shapes , and colors. Pricing was not expensive either. And they have such a friendly and welcoming environment.

Customer service here is top notch. I got my piercing in New Orleans, however I went to Supernatural to get it checked out after returning from my trip and when it was time for me to switch jewelry. Clay was AMAZING! He is so kind and patient. He explains everything and will answer all your questions. I would definitely recommend Supernatural Body Piercing.

These folks are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and safe. They make you feel welcomed and excited to be there, no matter who you are or what you look like. This place treats you like royalty. I got my ears pierced at Rowan a week before getting my nose pierced here because I didn’t want to wait, and I really should have. Supernaturals is by far the superior piercing studio in Kansas City. They greet you with friendly faces, answer all your questions with detailed information, and take time to explain proper aftercare. You leave prepared to take care of your new piercing and they are always there to answer questions if they should arise. Adam was super kind and even looked at my previous piercings done the week before to make sure they were okay and healthy. I can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t go anywhere else. Their appointments are worth the wait.

My experience with Adam was AMAZING! He laid out my jewelry options for me and was super patient with me while I had a hard time deciding on which piece I wanted. :) He took time and care while sanitizing and setting everything up for us and took his time to explain the piercing process AND the healing process before we began to make sure this piercing wouldnt cause any issues with my current lifestyle. He gave plenty of opportunities for questions throughout. The piercing process was relatively painless and Adam helped quell my nerves throughout the process. I could not recommend him more!I am really glad that the shop is by appointment only currently, helps the piercers be able to give their full attention to their clients and you dont have to worry about waiting in a lobby full of random people. Their policies are clearly stated on their website, social media, and front door. While they have a large, AWESOME selection of jewelry, theyre not a retail store and expecting them to act as such is unrealistic. Theyre definitely worth making an appointment with even if youre just shopping for jewelry so that someone can assist you in finding the right type/size/etc jewelry for your piercing. 10/10, will be back for all future piercings and jewelry!

I had a really great experience here. I was really nervous when I first came in but everybody was nice. From the people at the front counter, to the piercers everyone was nice, respectful, and professional. Before anything was done for my belly button piercing my anatomy was checked, then I could pick out my jewelry. The jewelry was well organized and displayed in an easy to see way and it was a really quick and easy choice. My piercer Mars was great, they did a great job explaining the whole healing process and took the time to make sure the dots were even before even pulling the needle out. The piercing was quick and it turned out great even though I was moving (I tried not to). I love my belly button piercing and I will definitely be back for any future piercings. It was just a really warm and positive experience. The store was clean and well organized and everything was cleaned and sanitized.

I went in and they unfortunately told me I would not be able to get the piercing I wanted but I appreciate them being honest instead of just taking my money

So friendly! So clean and great quality products. The shop is so nice and has a lot of charm! I bought a reasonably priced solid gold ring for my healed cartilage that was pierced somewhere else. I am SUPER impressed that they put you in their computer system and log your purchases to keep track of the sizes and material in case you ever need to know. That is so useful! And they are very popular in KC, so please book one week before🤣 I wanted to do it the other week before the initial date and tell me why they were are booked😩? Jona, she is a sweetheart and my piercer (the owner) Clay is sooo nice! He talked to me about everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Safe to say if ur going to get any piercing, it’s best to get it here! It’s just the professionalism and having sweet workers, working there. I got my double helix and a surface tragus, love it🤭 Also the deposit will minus your total and they give you a saline spray, so don’t need to worry!

I just got my second piercing at Supernatural, and it was a great experience! Eric was calming and super easy to work with-- he walked me through everything procedure-wise and answered all of my questions beforehand. He is clearly an expert, and the placement was perfect and virtually painless. Love the overall vibe and atmosphere of the shop and Im obsessed with my new piercing. Definitely recommended!

Supernatural was fantastic! I got a few ear piercings (industrial and conch) done by Mars, who was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was also given an explanation for each step being taken, which was incredibly helpful, and all of my questions were easily answered.The reception staff (I think it was Adriana who helped me) was incredibly familiar with the jewelry and pricing.The shop had a beautiful selection of jewelry, was very clean, and utilized good sterilization practices. I plan to visit again in the future and would recommend it to those looking for piercings in the KC area.

I took my 5 year old here so they could FINALLY get their ears pierced. The staff were welcoming and treated my child like a real client. Our piercer (Clay) was patient in how he explained everything (to both parent and child) and quickly but my nervous kiddo at ease. We will definitely be back.

Wanted my doubles and maybe a triple done after not having any piercings since my singles when I was very young. I had a great experience here; everyone was really nice and patient (I felt like deciding on my earrings took a while). I appreciated that Clay was able to very quickly evaluate my anatomy and give his honest opinion, and I heard other staff doing the same with another client as well. This gives me trust that they dont simply do whatever someone asks if its not in their best interest. The piercing itself went flawlessly and so far healing has been a breeze.The only reason I docked a star was for cost; I know you dont wanna go cheap on stuff like this, but for two lobe piercings I was kind of shocked to pay $280. Their earrings are good quality for sure but I didnt choose anything extravagant. Just check in on the pricing so youre prepared (I didnt wanna be that person that asks for justification/itemization on the cost when I didnt ask in advance, and I wanted it done regardless). I’ll be going back for my downsizing and looking forward to it.

I love this place! First of all, it is very clean. Also, everyone working there is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They are truly concerned about the client having the best possible piercing experience.Now, with that being said, I love earrings, but most of the earrings are not for standard size ear piercings. Most are for larger piercings. (if necessary, they may be able to order something in a different size for you)The store sells less expensive, mid range, and very expensive pieces. The main thing to know is that the jewelry here is more generally expensive than your typical tattoo/ piercing shop, but its because they use higher quality materials. So, its worth it!

My 9-year-old wanted her ears pierced and I asked around for recommendations because I know nothing about piercings except that I didnt want to go somewhere with a gun. Im so glad a friend recommended Supernatural to us. Clay was fantastic with my daughter. So great. He put her totally at ease while also letting her know she was in control and could change her mind at any point. Instructions about caring for her new piercings were thorough and everyone was so kind that I wouldnt hesitate to reach out if we had questions or concerns later. The shop was meticulously clean. I was so impressed with everyone and everything about this shop.

I am so happy I found this place! Everyone is incredibly cheerful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. Ive been here twice and 10/10 suggest. There are plenty of different jewelry options, the pricing is incredibly fair, and, dare I say it, on the lower end compared to some of the other places Ive been to. The environment is clean and friendly. I went first to get jewelry changed out and a second time to get a nostril piercing and I truly enjoyed both experiences. Hands down suggest going here for your jewelry and piercing needs. Shout out to Adam for making both experiences awesome and for the zesty nose piercing!

As an adult who had never had her ears pierced, I was recommended Supernatural by multiple friends, and I was far from disappointed. They explained everything well, but not in a condescending way. The owner Clay does a phenomenal job with explaining piercing recovery. Its by appointments only. I have both sides of my tragus done. Just relax and breath in and out.

🙏 had the most comforting experience here... after a not so comfortable incident. The back of my helix piercing had got lodged in my earlobe, completely. *PANIC*. To note:this piercing did not come from Supernaturals to begin with. I was actually very nervous about what it would feel like coming back out and the process. The piercer was such a master, it was out before I knew it, with guidance of course. My only regret was not coming here in the first place. Afforable and they take the time to.make sure youre informed. Will be back :)

Shoutout to Adam there at Supernatural Body Piercing! My husband and I were traveling cross country & I had a serious piercing emergency. They scheduled me last minute and our experience was amazing. Adam was able to put our nerves at ease, not only by examining the piercing but by realistically telling us what we should do if I wanted to keep it. No upselling us on jewelry or causing unnecessary changes that could prolong the healing process. It’s hard to find reputable piercers that not only lookout for your safety but do so in a respectful way. Adam also swapped out some jewelry on some healed ear piercings I had as well and was incredibly gentle. If we lived in the area we would only go to them! Highly recommend!

I always have THE BEST experiences here. Ive gotten my belly button, conch and now septum pierced here. Every time I go, the piercer always explains every step of what theyre doing as they do it, so I always know whats happening. They go over cleaning, healing and ask if I have questions multiple times before any piercing tool is even seen. Picking out jewelry is super easy and fun. Also, every thing is sanitized! I always feel so safe and cared about when I go to get piercings here. I will forever recommend any and everyone go here to get any piercing!

Loooove!!! Everyone’s super metal and sweet and the prices aren’t too bad either. I got my septum done last year by Mars and I recently got my eyebrow done by her again! You can tell she really knows her stuff by the way she preps things and talks you through the piercing as well as checking in! I was suuper nervous before my appt so I came in high and it actually did quite the opposite LOL but she helped ground me and let me know what she was doing every step…I think she could tell from the way she didn’t try to force convo out of me .. Amazing people and veery professional! I went in for the first time and had 3 ear piercings done. Jona gave me every information I needed and asked, and then some more.The selection of the jewelry is beyond ! Soo many choices and beautiful earings .And then Clay did my piercings. Again knowledgeable to the t ,very detailed with the procedure and the sanitization, I did a conch a tragus and a helix piercing and I didnt feel a thing ! Cant wait to go back and pierce my other ear too !

I got three piercings from Mars & the whole expirience was amazing & as someone with a disability I felt safe & welcome!The storefront is gorgeous & very clean! Same goes with the piercing rooms. The selection they have is beautiful & the atmosphere is relaxing & welcoming! There may be some accessibility issues with entering for wheelchair users if I remember correctly. There are short few steps as you enter. However I feel the staff would be eager to make an accommodation happen based on expirience.As someone with a bleeding disorder, there are certain precautions I go through with piercings. The staff was knowledgeable & prepared for a such clients, all while making me feel welcomed & in good hands! They calm all nerves through education & how positive and wonderful the team members are! Will be returning here & highly recommend!!

I took my (minor) daughter in for a double helix piercing with Adam. She was nervous and he was incredible. He was calm, explained everything that was going to happen, and answered all questions we had. Hygiene was incredible! Although there was an issue with a bar being mislabeled resulting in several return visits for jewelry changed before it was time, Adam handled it so incredibly well. We will never hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will return to him for piercings without question.

Just got my nipples pierced today by Mars, who was very informative and gentle (as gentle as one can be when driving a needle through skin, that is!) It was my first time at Supernatural and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and left a good impression. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming too, which helped me relax since I’m squeamish about needles. Thanks again Mars + Supernatural staff! I will be back!

I had my first piercing here. The owner, clay, explained the process very well. The piercing was fast and professional. They also provided plenty of aftercare advice and materials. It was also very reasonably priced for the service and jewelry.

By far and away one of the best experiences Ive had. The shop goes out of their way to put your health and safety first. Ive now gotten three piercings done here, with a 4th scheduled. Would highly recommend, and the appointment booking wait time is well worth it.

I got 2 piercings today from the owner Clay. He was so wonderful, patient, and kind to me and my husband. The body jewelry selection is really great as well. My piercings looks incredible and I will be using Supernatural for all other piercings in future and recommend to my friends/family :)

I absolutely love this place! I was so scared to get my vertical industrial. Clay did an amazing job helping me relax and walk me through everything. They are the cleanest shop I have been in. Cleanliness is a must have he switched gloves all the time to keep everything sanitized and sterilized everything! If you’re looking for clean, professional, personable and skills, hands down the best shop!

I didnt know it was possible to love someone just because they added additional holes to my ears. Adam was astonished me with how professional and courteous he was. He offered expert opinions and guidance to help me get the best possible piercings. Aftercare instructions were clearly explained and provided in written form. All equipment immaculately sterilized in a way that is visible to the customer, and staff was amazing about hand hygiene and gloves.

Wow….so impressed with the service here. The shop was super clean and the jewelry selection was amazing. I got a piercing by Adam and he was fantastic. So nice, informative and made me feel completely comfortable. I got my rook pierced and the piercing didn’t hurt at all. Definitely check this place out for your next piercing. Had a great experience with my 8 year old daughter. Took a lot of time with us and made sure she knew the whole process. She was scared, but Clay talked her through, and she did great.

I rarely write reviews, but after my visit to the shop I had to share my experience!this was my first visit to Supernatural and I was amazed by their professionalism and cleanliness. hand sanitizer was provided upon entry and masks were required for everyone in the shop (which I really appreciate as you never know what could be going around nowadays). everyone I interacted with in the shop was super nice and helpful. I went in for a vertical labret and Clay was my piercer. he was super sweet and explained everything from the piercing process to healing and aftercare. he made sure to answer any questions as well. he was super patient and kind while we were trying to get the perfect placement figured out even after a few tries. he had an apprentice who he was teaching but also had them help out, which I thought was super cool. with a deep breath in and out, he pierced!I was really happy with the result and my experience. previous piercers at other shops would always just want to get people in and out, but I could tell everyone at Supernatural truly cares about their clients and their outcomes. 10/10 would recommend!! (I also got a bottle of saline spray and a cool sticker!)

The best place to go in the entire KC metro, dont go anywhere else. Best selection of incredible jewelry, most experienced, most hygienic, and best atmosphere. Ive gotten over 20 piercings here in total and had the most ideal healing experience nearly every time. Its worth it to have it done right, the least amount of pain possible due to their technique. Make an appointment with Clay and you will not regret it, he is the very best!

Even impressed my skeptical anti-piercing anti-tattoo mother (who took me to claire’s as a kid to pierce my ears because she was intimidated by tattoo and piercing shops) with their expensive sterilization and pre-piercing process.Cons:- The staff is so cool and fashionable that it almost makes me insecure about my own level of coolness.I’ve gotten 5 piercings from Supernatural and every single experience I’ve had here was overwhelmingly positive. I got Clay and he was awesome! ✌️😎I arrived early and the young lady with glasses at the front desk helped me out with jewelry, talked me through the upfront process as far as payment and prices. She was super sweet! Then Clay let me know that my jewelry was sterilizing, went through the aftercare information with me, and we got to it! Wasn’t awkward at all considering I received a intimate piercing 😂 He was funny, personable, and I’ll definitely be back another piercing!The place was easy to find and very clean inside! Excellent, safe and top quality - worth the wait - there is a reason that there is a bit of a waiting list for Supernatural Body Piercing Services - it is top-notch all around.The staff greets you at the door and welcomes you while going through the requisite paperwork. Great experience! I love the vibe of their shop, good music, and really nice and helpful people. I had a few helix piercings done here by Adam. He was so sweet and funny. Really easy to talk to and laugh with. Great at explaining cleaning and healing processes and making sure to answer any questions I had. I’ll definitely be back for more.👌🏻They also seem dedicated to upholding COVID regulations even though a lot of places are relaxing at this point— which is nice to see that they take public safety so seriously.

I love Supernatural! I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad experience. Recently, I had jewelry get knocked out of my ear. I was able to call and they offered an appointment after when they typically close so they could help me out and my piercing didn’t close. I would never expect anyone to stay late for me but it is greatly appreciated!Scheduling is super easy online or calling (but online is easier for a typical appointment). The online scheduler includes a list of all documentation needed (ID, proof of vaccination etc.) And they are always nice about answering questions when I’ve called for clarification.The past few times I went in, I spoke to Perry at the front desk. While the entire staff is always helpful and polite, Perry stood out as kind and personable. After so many great experiences, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I went to Supernatural for an industrial and it turned out, thanks to the lovely piercer, that I didnt have the correct ear anatomy for the industrial. I ended up getting a different piercing and still love it! Planning to go back for more soon!

This was the absolute best experience as always! I was able to get in at my appointment time and view several options for jewelrySince I was a previous customer they were able to pull up the appropriate size for my daily piercing. I was in an out in under 30 minutes. Everyone was nice and friendly to me.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! I got a daith and helix piercing done by Eric on the same ear. The piercings were quick and relatively painless. Even one week later, I have no irritation bumps and very little soreness, which I take as a sign of piercings done properly with high quality jewelry. Eric was extremely kind and patient with answering my numerous questions. He even took the time to show me potential options for future piercings when I asked what would work with my ear anatomy. This was my first time visiting Supernatural, but they instantly earned my trust. You can tell they are very experienced and skilled at what they do.

This is hands down the best piercing experience I have ever had. Everyone at the shop is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I was there for a nostril piercing and while waiting for my appointment time, both Eric and the AMAZING girl behind the counter (so sorry I didn’t catch her name) spent a good 15 mins advising me on different options for jewelry for a wonky helix piercing obtained at a lesser establishment. During the piercing itself, Eric was meticulous about sanitization. He made sure I was happy with the piercing positioning with expert advice about where would heal best. He gave great, detailed aftercare instructions, and even included the saline spray at no extra cost! Supernatural has earned a fan for life.

Ive been a loyal customer for almost 10 years now. A majority of my current piercings (I have 19 and counting) Ive gotten at supernatural. The staff is incredibly professional knowledgeable and supportive. A lot of people complain about their prices. Im not going to lie, theyre not cheap but you get what you pay for and Ive never regretted a since dime Ive spent there.

I dont ever leave reviews but I have to share my incredible experience here- Ive always met piercers that just wanted you in and out and didnt really take thier time to make you comfortable but Eric made sure that this was not the case. I was so anxious but his positive attitude and the way he treats you like an actual human being helped me ease that and I knew I could trust him 100%. He walked us through the process of the piercing and then cleaning, answered every question I had, and even conversed with us and laughed at our banter while waiting for our other friend to get pierced while other places I feel like would have made us feel awkward for talking.Needless to say: hes absolutely a great guy and I will not be going to anyone else! Im so happy I found this place!!!

Supernatural is probably the only place I will go to get piercings so long as I am in Kansas City. They are professional, exceptionally clean, friendly, and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Ive been here for two piercings so far and both experiences have been great.

I had a beyond amazing experience getting my very first piercings with Kait today (who I’m convinced is pure magic and artistry). She was thorough with the info she gave me on both the piercing process and after care, and was SO cool and compassionate about my nerves. She was a pleasure to see for my first piercing and took great care of me. The shop was immaculate and full of good vibes, and the other staff were helpful and friendly too. I’ll definitely be back for another piercing and for more jewelry very soon!

I got my conch pierced here and it was a wonderful experience. The reason that my review is so low is because I asked to have jewelry changed in 2 of my helix piercings because they had previously been pierced with silver and I wanted titanium because they were not reacting well. The piercer happily obliged and I got 2 new pieces of jewelry and he replaced them for me and assured me that they would be much better for my ears. He assured me that the posts were long enough even though I was worried about it. 2 weeks later I had to go to the doctor and have them removed because the posts were not long enough and the tissue in my ear had grown over the jewelry. One year later I am stuck with 2 huge lumps of scar tissue in my ear and a horror story of how a piercer wouldnt listen to me. I am afraid to use the jewelry because it is too short for ANY of my piercings, even the completely healed ones that I have had for years that are in the thinnest part of my ear. I would recommend going here as long as you are willing to argue with the piercer.

Will never go anywhere else for anything piercing or body jewelry related.I have had appointments with 3 different piercers at this shop and each one of them was beyond patient, professional, clean, and understanding.Kait did my nose piercing and was absolutely incredible and calming. She made it as if it is not a procedure that is being done to you, but that you are doing together. If that makes sense. She was gentle and quick, but not rushed. I would trust them with any other piercing. Absolutely fantastic experience.Clay helped me with piercing and jewelry concerns and again was patient and accommodating. They took the time to explain to me what was going on and why, as well as a plan going forward.The last person I had an appointment with I unfortunately do not know the name of (I’m sorry!) but they were also absolutely outstanding. They helped me pick out jewelry that would work best for me and my situation. They also helped me fix my piercing after I had failed to realize the seam of my jewelry had gone inside the piercing and started to heal that way. I was so worried that I would lose the piercing but this person was able to easily fix it and get it back on track with better jewelry.They also have THE best jewelry selection. Hands down. Period. I mean wow..Every piercer and staff member here is an 11/10. You will not regret going here. I will gladly drive over an hour out of my way to make sure this is the kind of service, care, and professionalism I get.

The building is very clean on the inside, also very well organized with the jewelry clearly on display and easy to see. My piercer was friendly, took plenty of time to explain to me the piercing process, aftercare, and answer any questions. She is definitely a great choice for anyone getting a piercing for the first time because of this and how calm she was during the process. This place was so incredible. I ran into the shop ten minutes before closing, in tears, with a botched septum piercing I got at a cheap tattoo parlor an hour earlier in St. Joseph. I begged them to fix it, to change the huge ring out. The staff were so comforting and kind and immediately reassured me and told me they could switch it out since it had just been done. They have an incredible selection of jewelry, including tiny, delicate, sparkly nose rings. The place I had gotten my septum done first hadn’t offered me a jewelry choice and just gave me a huge yucky looking steel ball ring, which really didn’t suit me, a 5’0” female. It was also so big it couldn’t tuck up into my nose. Supernatural Piercings helped me find a little silver ring with tiny iridescent gems on it and changed it so gently and professionally. I felt like I was in really good hands with Clay and he offered a lot of great advice on how to take care of it. 10/10 recommend! It was also such a clean place, so warm and inviting, not scary at all. I love this place and the people that run it are amazing. 🥰

I had a great experience getting my septum pierced. A friend and I made an appointment for two and indicated nose piercings without realizing a septum piercing needed a different appointment type and thus a different piercer. The staff were super flexible and were able to squeeze me in so that I could get the piercing I wanted. They were all friendly and hilarious, and we had such a great time. The shop itself had was immaculate and filled with beautiful jewlery displays. I will definitely be back!

My wife had her nose pierced here. This place absolutely rocks! They were super organized and extremely sanitary with their process. They gave us all the right information and the two who helped us, both at the counter and during the piercing were friendly, knowledgeable and made us both very comfortable. The price is amazing too! This has to be the best customer experience I’ve ever had, and I wasn’t even the customer.

I got my daith pierced on 8/2/22. I made an appointment online & paid the $30 deposit which went toward the piercing and jewelry cost. They have an incredible jewelry selection. Clay did my piercing and he was great! Answered my questions and concerns. After my piercing I got a little light headed and he got me some water and made sure I was okay before I left. I will most definitely be returning!

Sucks that I even have to type this up because I used to love Supernatural so much!!! Literally recommended this piercing place to every single person who complimented my septum because I loved the whole experience and my piercing. Today I went trying to get some new jewelry, I was told kindly that they are taking appointment only. I understand for piercings. But I just wanted to get some cute jewelry because I love their jewelry selection. Turns out I have to make an appointment just to buy jewelry? Got turned away kindly but rudely matter by the owner, to the point that I no longer want to return. Like okay? I had decided to re choose my ring and they were more than willing to help (they have a great selection), when we had finally got the septum piercing in it was too big for me and they easily changed it to a smaller size. I got my helix pierced by Clay. I was a little bit nervous going in, but the moment I walked through the door their demeanor but me at ease. The had me go and wash hands immediately upon entering. They were very clean and sterile. I wasnt allowed to touch any of the earrings I was looking at to avoid contamination. They took their time with me and showed me all the options available. Once I picked one out he explained everything that would happen, cleaned the jewelry, and cleaned my ear. He did a great job with the piercing and was helpful in explaining aftercare and what to expect. The entire experience was just wonderful! I highly recommend and if I ever get anything else pierced, I would go back to them every time.

This my second visit, and Im not sure I have enough words to convey how wonderful both experiences have been!Back in January, I went with my daughter and we both got piercings. The piercer (I forgot their name!) was informative, professional and kind. Because of this person, we walked out happy with our new jewelry and well informed on the upkeep.Today I went back because my skin is a little irritated around my piercing, and I just wanted to see if they could help. (Ive never taken it out, and wasnt sure I could if it was necessary.) The piercing professional that helped me today made this visit just as wonderful as the first. I never felt judged, he patiently explained the need for continued care in a way that made me feel like he doesnt have to say the same thing over and over, lol. We had an awesome experience when my 12-year-old daughter got her ears pierced at Supernatural! The place is really cool and exceptionally clean, and the staff is all very friendly and professional. My daughter was nervous, but Clay did a great job of alleviating her fears and letting her know exactly what to expect. He also took the time to explain how to care for her piercings in detail and why it was important. He made the whole process really wonderful for her! This place is busy, so make sure to have an appointment, and if youre taking your child for piercings, make sure to have the items theyll need to prove relation and identification.

This place is top notch. I got a double helix pierced by Clay, the owner. Clay is a cool guy. Very personable and made me feel comfortable and relaxed, as I was kind of anxious about the pain level of the helix piercing. He was very informative and thorough took the time to explain any question/concern I had. Cleanliness in this place is on another level. Ive never seen a piercing shop so clean. I almost felt like I was in a doctors office.

My life partner got her nipples pierced here and it was an amazing place/experience. First and foremost the place was extremely clean and the environment was very classy. Lots of interesting art work and jewelry on display in a beautiful little space. And secondly the staff was awesome. Very courtesy and super knowledgeable. The piercer was absolutely professional and explained everything along with doing an exemplary job with the piercing. I would seriously recommend this place to anyone for any type of piercing!

I’ve gotten all eight of my piercings here and they really know what they’re doing. It’s a super clean and sterile environment which is super important. Everyone I’ve been to has been so nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Prices are definitely fair for the quality you get and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I’ve also been in just to have my nose rings changed out and they don’t act like it’s a inconvenience to them like other places do! Whether you have zero or twenty piercings, they treat you with the same respect :)

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and the absolute professionalism with the staff. Wanted to be pierced for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge. Kait did both nipples and a Prince Albert piercing. The amount of time she spent going over every detail was incredible and I would recommend her to anyone! Kati also has assisted in increasing gauge size and the shop keeps track of your jewelry size in the event you need to know down the road.

I popped in to see Kait about a piercing I had gotten done at another spot that was not OK. She helped recommend jewelry that would work best for me, and replaced the jewelry as it was a fairly fresh piercing! I was in and out in 10 minutes and in total awe of how professional, kind, and personable everyone was! Would definitely go back in a heartbeat! Cannot recommend enough.

I dont ever review places but I had such a great experience that I had to. I went in to get my forward helix and conch pierced. The place was very clean and nice. I cant remember the name of the man who helped me pick out the earrings at the front desk but he was wonderful. I went to get my piercing done by Clay who calmed me down and gave great advice and was also fun to talk to. Afterwards, I was feeling extremely light headed and needed to sit down. The staff was amazing. They made sure I was feeling better, gave me water, ice packs and candy to help out and were just absolutely incredible. I also really love how my piercings turned out. I would highly recommend this place, its well worth the money!

Lost the ball to a dumbbell and they were one of the few places I called they kept all titanium in stock. They got me taken care of super fast, the place was very clean, and everyone was super nice.They also have a great selection of higher end jewelry. This is definitely where I would get any future piercings in KC, or where I would go if I had a problem with a current one.

After reading reviews and talking to several people I decided to walk in yesterday and get my nose pierced. Everyone was friendly and helpful, I didnt have to wait long and watching the staff interact with other customers I knew I had come the right place. My piercer, Clay was awesome. He was professional, knowledgeable and sweet. Everything was super clean and I left happy with my new piercing and a little goodie bag including care instructions. My experience here was absolutely nothing but positive. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I cannot stress that enough. They make sure youve eaten within the last four hours so that your blood sugar is stable, if not, they will provide you with a snack and a juice if you need one. Kait did my nipple piercings, and she was so very professional and walked through every step so that there wasnt any surprises with anything. She made sure I was comfortable and was very interactive during the entire process. She gave me great, in depth information on the healing process and what to expect, and they even provided me with the sea salt that I needed for the soaks, with instructions on everything. Awesome staff, very kind and helpful. Ive had 6 piercings here total- lobes, helix, forward helix, daith, nose. Most recently (Sept 2022), I had my nose pierced by Adam. He was super professional, sanitary, and talked to me the entire time to let me know exactly what he was doing. If you are looking for a safe and clean piercing experience, this place is for you.

My body reacts terribly to piercings and I have no business getting any - that said, I still absolutely adore this place. The shop just has this warm and welcoming atmosphere. The jewelry for sale is displayed like a fine art gallery. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable.This is one of my favorite places to bring out-of-towners. If you have any loved ones with piercings, this is a really fun place to shop for them.One time, my wife went in to get something small and inexpensive - not sure what, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure what she needed was ordered. They even followed up to make sure she got it. Doesn’t matter if you’re spending a lot or a little, you’re treated like a friend when you enter. Oh, and you could eat a meal off of the floor here - we could all learn a thing or two about cleanliness from supernatural.TLDR - non pierced persons favorite shops to browse or buy gifts. If I could process piercings better, this would be my ride or die shop.2022 edit: I got my nostril pierced by Clay - I wish I had more stars to add. Still the best place to go.

Very professional and attentive staff. We got in and out in less than an hour for a nose piercing. They took time and care when making sure the stud was properly sterilized. And even Eric, my professional piercer changed out his gloves several time when moving about the room. He was very calming and comforting as this was my first piercing. I would highly recommend this place.

I love this shop. They’re APP certified and it shows— the shop is clean, the piercing rooms are private, their jewelry is high quality, and their piercers are well-trained. They’re happy to explain the process and their tools and always have a calm, friendly-but-professional demeanor for anyone nervous about getting a piercing. Their jewelry is excellent, but simple pieces are still very affordable. Couldn’t ask for a better place to get a piercing.

Just had a fantastic experience with Clay doing a vertical industrial. He talked me through my options based on my ear shape, and made me feel really in control of what was happening before we ever went to his piercing station. Afterward he gave me a booklet and salt with care instructions and didnt send me to pay until he felt sure I knew how to care for my new piercing, or at least that I would call with any problems or questions. He was approximately as awesome as a sparkly midnight blue unicorn. 10/10 would recommend.

Brought my daughter for her first piercing for her 8th Birthday today. Had the absolute best experience with the staff. Gabe was incredible and so informative. He took his time and didnt do anything until my daughter was ready. There was minimal pain and my daughter walked out feeling like a princess! The prices were higher than I expected, but the quality was totally worth it and you get what you pay for!!!!!!!Great experience all around.

I recently had my daith pierced. Clay did my piercing and he was really great. He did not try to talk me out of it like I have seen in other reviews, he just told me that if I use ear phones daily or use the phone on that side then I might want to consider that before piercing because I won’t be able to do those things for a while. He was serious when he needed to be and funny and joking around when I was nervous. His attention to sanitation was also amazing. My friends and I spoke with all 4 people working that day and everyone was so nice! I don’t know who I spoke with when I called to schedule the appointment but he was very nice and patient when I had questions. I don’t know how their pricing compares to other places, maybe it is high, but I am still very glad I had my piercing done here. I am thinking about doing my other side when this heals and I will definitely go back to Supernatural for it.

Ive been to several piercing places and this by far was the most professional/clean/comfortable experience Ive ever had. Kait explained every step of the process and went by my own pace getting both my nipples pierced. They look perfectly symmetrical and its a good price too! They have some gorgeous jewelry as well. Definitely will be going here exclusively from now on!

This is absolutely THE place to get a piercing. I took my daughter here to have her ears pierced and have had 4 piercings done here myself, and each experience was exceptional. I went to Kait each time, and her professionalism, patience, and expertise were unmatched. It is very clean, well-run, friendly, and they have a great selection of jewelry, too. Highly recommend.

Ive been here a couple of times to pick up new jewelry for existing piercings and theyve always been incredibly kind and helpful. Today I got a forward helix piercing from Gabe and I couldnt be happier with my overall experience. He walked me through everything he was doing, gave a ton of helpful information about the healing process and was super nice. It was a quick and easy process and I will never go anywhere else for future piercings or body jewelery needs. Supernatural is the best around.

This place is awesome! I went in to get an industrial piercing. They had a lot of options for jewelry. The piercer measured my ear to see what size bar she needed to use. Unfortunately they were out of the size I needed because its the most common size. But the piercer is very professional and didnt want to give me a smaller size because the piercing needs room for swelling. I decided to get a rook piercing instead. I only had to wait about 30 minutes. The piercer sanitized everything in front of me and she made me feel very comfortable! The piercing went very quick and wasnt very painful. I love it! The front desk employees were so sweet as well! Great customer service! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for the Kait, a piercer who had worked here for a long time, she moved to Radiance Piercing in Lee’s Summit. i love and trust supernatural, but be sure to call and make your appointment because when i scheduled here, my email, confirmation, and the time that they have in their books are all different!

Gabe is the man! Everyone there was so incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything. On top of that, the entire facility was immaculately clean. Sterile. It was just like visiting my doctors office. So many wipes! Changing gloves 4 or 5 different times throughout the piercing process. And as if you needed any more reason to come here, everyone there helped pick out placement and design. They truly are a great team!

Amazing place! Clay did an awesome job with my piercings and put me completely at ease. I couldnt of asked for a better experience. We arrived about 2 oclock on a Saturday afternoon and there was about a 45minute wait, as a walk-in. But there is TONS of unique jewelry to occupy your time. An Records with Merritt is also a couple of store down if you are feeling a bit anxious like I was. The frequent punch card is also a plus. Based on my experience there today I will be putting that to good use!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Not only is the place well decorated and clean. Everyone was so welcoming and informative. Gabe is a true gem and I highly recommend him. He was walking us through the process from start to finish while also keeping us relaxed and having fun! You can tell he is passionate about what he does. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Once I discovered this place, I’ve never gone anywhere else for my piercings. Their selection of jewelry is amazing and so unique, not your average stuff. It is pricy for the piercings and the jewelry but it’s totally worth it. They are all professional, certified piercers and they know their stuff. They share everything you need to know about your piercings and how to care for them, they even give you a bag of sea salt with instructions and a booklet for aftercare.

Kait did my piercings! She was amazing! The whole staff was professional! I felt so safe! The shop is following strict policy to keep staff and guests safe during the pandemic. I am so pleased with the results! I will only recommend them now! I have been to lots of shops and been stuck by several piercers. Kait is now my favorite! They have always been very kind when I go. They answer all my questions and are very patient. Ive never had a bad experience and Clay has really made me feel comfortable there :) I really appreciate the covid precautions that they have taken and I wish they were more normalized.

The best piercing parlor in Kansas City. The most professional, well trained piercers Ive found in many states to be honest. Everything was clean, instruments were sterile, and I always feel comfortable and well informed. Basic piercings can run from $60 to well over $200 depending on the metal. But those costs also cover the piercing itself. Go here and not a shady tattoo parlor please!

The better half and I went there this last weekend to get a few piercings done. I wanted to re-pierce my septum after a botched job a few years back, and she had some spots on her ear she wanted to get done. The legit dude behind the counter had some great advice and was very knowledgeable and professional, and hilarious. Kaylyn, our piercer, was fantastic! She gave us some great advice, helped us pick out some stuff that ultimately saved us some cash but still looked great. Super clean and efficient while still remaining fun and congenial. She pierced my septum right and explained to me the issue I had with it last time and how to avoid that again (although her piercing in the RIGHT spot this time has taken care of that.) She worked with the girlfriend to place her piercings perfectly and create a gorgeous cluster with a moonstone conch and a couple cartilage piercings. All in all Supernatural is great. We will be back for sure!

Supernatural is the ONLY place I will go to for piercings. The jewelry selection is amazing, prices are fair, and the staff is phenomenal. Staff is always smiling when I walk in, and always want to see my piercings when they are done (which makes you feel good). I have gotten several piercings done with them, and have never had one become infected or turn out looking anything other than amazing.

They have always been kind, and professional. The shop is clean and well lit, and they explain procedures throughly.I have a host of anxiety disorders, so having an appointment to have time to discuss has been a god-send.I highly recommend this shop.

Had a nostril piercing done by Gabe last week and he was WONDERFUL! Great personality and super friendly. He took his time giving me after-care instructions as well as answered any additional questions I had. He placed a sample mark before completing the piercing and went through the whole process before he would do anything! I will definitely go back for more piercings at this time. Atmosphere was good but most importantly CLEAN as well!

Just got a helix piercing today. And they did an awesome job. Gave me lots of information and ways to help it heal properly. They are really nice and make you feel comfortable. I will definitely be telling people to come there for piercings.

Great, very clean business!! They stand behind their work and allow you to drop in if you ever have any concerns or question. Ive dropped in 3 times within 7 months just to have them look at my piercing to make sure its healing properly and ask questions. They are always glad to check and answer questions.

I will never get a piercing anywhere else, ever. This is easily the cleanest shop I’ve ever been to. It’s very bright, with a lot of windows, like I don’t feel like I’m getting pierced in some weird dark ally. The staff is incredible, they’re all so kind, so helpful, and they’re willing to answer all of your questions. They’re definitely more pricey than the average shop, but you’re paying for high quality jewelry and the best piercing experience imaginable. I’ve had six different piercings done here, and each time they’ve given me all of the information on aftercare, and will actually sit down and tell you exactly what to do. This place is absolutely incredible.

Supernatural was exactly what I expected...AMAZING!! I had my ear pierced at 7 and 11, both times the got infected and I let them grow up! Thirty six years later I decided it was time to get them done again! The shop was spotless and everyone was extremely helpful. Clay was fantastic! I got a dermal piercing in the corner of my left eye. Staff was very thorough from prep to sterilize to piercing to the after care. Very clean. Professional. Price wasnt bad considering the selection of jewelry the have to offer. I went from the east side of independence all the way to there shop on westport road. No one had all the supplies to complete the job. I mean at least 10 shops.. Recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks supernatural!!

I was referred to buy my jewelry here (from another piercing shop) for my existing piercings and it was an amazing experience. My nose had some issues and Gabe was amazing he’s extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff ! Helped me heal my nose and change my jewelry once it was better ! Even found a fun creative new style for my other piercings I haven’t heard of before ! The jewelry is nice, outside of that the whole experience was inconvenient!!!!!! i waited nearly 4 weeks for my appointment since everything is currently by appointment only. I arrived for my 6:30pm appointment & sat there for an hour before I was seen. I was already pierced before coming to my appointment and ONLY needed to jewelry shop. wasn’t too fond of the guy who put my jewelry in either. Also, my cartilage isn’t fully healed so i don’t appreciate him putting in the new jewelry without cleaning my cartilage before &/or after.

I went to Supernatural and got my nostril and rook done. I will not go anywhere else because you are paying for what you get: clean, professional, quality, and friendly staff. Clay has done several piercings for me. He is always very professional and willing to talk through any questions you have. The shop is clean and very nice. The selection of jewelry is top notch and they will also order pieces if needed for more specialized piercings.

Incredibly friendly staff, they took the time to answer all of my questions and make sure I got a piercing I would love. It was far cleaner than most doctors offices Ive been to. It is a little pricy, but I would have paid as much as 3x what I did for the quality I received. I would 100% recommend, there may be a long wait, but there is no better place than this in the Kansas City area!

I adore this piercing shop, and would sing its praises to anyone. I particularly love how customizable your jewelry can be. I have gotten piercings at tattoo shops before, and they tend to be one size fits all about what starter jewelry you get, what gauge, etc. Supernatural was my first experience that I felt I had more choice in the matter. There is a very wide selection, and they also have free jewelry tinting in which they can dye it beforehand. I have never felt more secure about a purchase and experience, which is wonderful because people can already be very nervous before getting impaled by needles. I have been pierced there at least 5 times and would go back for anything else. Theyre very helpful and have also changed my jewelry for me before, free of charge. Theyre so patient and the experience is always delightful.

Clean. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Got my septum done here a few years ago and loved it. Never had an issue with it. Just got my prince albert done just this past Saturday. They really took the time to talk about aftercare and cleaning. As well as what to expect during the healing process.

My 13 year old daughter wanted a 2nd piercing in her earlobe for her 14th birthday and this was the perfect place to take her! We made an appointment for a Friday evening and were greeted warmly when we walked in. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was and how kind the piercers were. My daughters piercer was visiting from another state and his name was Paul. I couldnt have asked for a nicer person to interact with my child. He put her at ease immediately and talked to her the whole time. From the beginning when she was picking out her earrings to the end when Paul was explaining aftercare was a wonderful experience. I feel like the prices are more than fair for the staff dedication and their professionalism. Please be aware that if you are having a minor pierced that the parent must go with the child AND both the child and parent must show photo IDs along with having the childs birth certificate. I know that may seem like a pain but I sure appreciated the caution they show with minors! Wonderful, wonderful place!!!!!

This is the best shop in the entire Kansas City area. Ive had four piercings done here so far. Kaylyn has done all of them and Im beyond pleased. I went in between classes and Eric made my first piercing experience very comfortable and quick! (I was in and out in about 20-30 minutes.) The vibe was super inviting and the staff was really nice. They obviously are very professional and I will be recommending this place to everyone!

I was so impressed with this shop. All of the staff was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. They welcomed my friends and I, talked us through the best jewelry choices, and the piercing process was a breeze. It was refreshing to see a well-oiled team working together for their patrons, and I felt like they loved their jobs! The shop was bright and VERY clean. Airik did our piercings. Being in the medical field, I watched him like a hawk (old habit) and was totally confident in both his technique and his cleaning procedures. He attended to the details, and was so smooth with the process that all three of us were thrilled with how little pain or anxiety there was. Yes! Everything about this place! Eric pierced my nipples a couple of weeks ago and by gosh! are they healing nicely. This place and all of their staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I thought I would be nervous about whipping the girls out in front of a stranger. NOPE! I was incredibly comfortable and excited. I found this place on a whim and I couldnt be happier that I did! I recommend to anyone thats looking for jewelry or any kind of piercing to go here!
