Beautiful Body Tattoo and Piercings

I wanted to jump on here and thank Neil! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, good customer service these days is rare. I called this shop randomly and Neil completely changed my mind on what I wanted done. It’s so refreshing to find someone that is passionate about the art and not just making a quick buck. I had called around some other places and felt very unsure about what to do. Neil guided me within minutes, and got us in quickly. He was very attentive and it was my soon to be husband’s first time. It was a great experience. When you have a tattoo artist telling you not to do something because years later it will be a waste of money, that’s very rare. Neil is a great guy, and it showed in his work! I felt very unsure about what to do and he helped us come to a great decision. Thanks Neil!

“The whole experience was really positive, from my initial consult to the scheduling and the actual getting the tattoo were all really positive. Neil is your guy, very professional, not like other shops I’ve been, actually everyone there is super friendly and I would definitely recommend the shop to others, and I already have. I got six tattoos done at this shop, and you know when you do this kind of investment on yourself you have to make sure to schedule with the best, and this place definitely has some of the best artists in town.

10/10 recommend. Sean was the artist that did my tattoos, he was very friendly and did an amazing job taking my inspiration photos, interpreting them into what I wanted and adding his vision/style as well. This was my first time getting tattooed here. It was a great experience.

I emailed off their website and was told to call the shop. I called the shop and no one answered. A bit later I get a text message. Seems like a weird process just to end up typing my message out. (Why offer the online portal and not use it just to make me text). I explain what I want and he says he will set up consult for the next week. A week goes by and I have to send a text to ask about my consult. He says he free at one the next day. I’m excited to meet with him so I clear my afternoon.I go into my appt and no one knows who I am supposed to be meeting. I show a worker the number I was texting with and he says, “oh that the owner he should be right along” I wait twenty minutes in their front room and nothing. One of the workers is walking up the stairs and I can hear him complaining about how the owner is doing it again.(Making people wait). I don’t know this guy and he seems to have a good reputation, but the awkward way I got my appt and making me wait lost them my business. Owner never followed up to apologize for missing our appt or tried to reschedule.

Sean is by far the best tattoo artist Ive ever dealt with (recently moved to KC and had to find new artist). Sean listened and then blew my mind with his artistic interpretation of the idea. And then his actual tattoo skills are amazing, smooth as silk and able to adjust to my specific body shape/a previous tattoo to make the end product truly amazing. Already scheduled for a rework of another artists poor previous work. Go See SEAN! (symbols spell out God is Greater than the Ups and Downs for the curious)

Great experience! Very professional, I got 5 piercings and they were done very well. Neil is very knowledgeable and helped me out when I lost a ball off of one.

They seem like they out to get people!! Wanted my piercing changed out. He wanted to charge me $40 bucks. Crazy in his head!!! Other studios dont charge or its $10 for a change out. Will never return to this place

Neil did a coverup tattoo for me and it looks AMAZING! He was able to do this in one sitting and it turned out so well! He’s super gentle and I felt comfortable throughout the service. I had to crop out some of the tattoo because it’s basically my whole cheek. Definitely will be back for more.

Neil has done two tattoos for me ! Reasonably priced and great work . He’s a super comfortable artist to work with and I headed right back two weeks later for a second . Highly recommend Neil and this shop . Cool guy and great work . Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my third !

I got 4 piercings total from this place 3 ear piercings and 1 eyebrow piercing. They all didnt hurt and it was a enjoyable experience as the piercer was funny and pretty nice.

Neil did an exceptional job with piercing the ears of my baby girl. I was a nervous wreck, and he helped calm my nerves and talked me through the whole process. My baby is 2 months old and no one else I would call was willing to pierce them (unless it was with an ear piercing gun which I’m not a fan of). I’m glad I could trust Neil because he did an amazing job. He was gentle and the results are pretty good, even given the challenge of how small her ears are and the limited space he had to work with (even the earrings were super small and challenging to hold, and he didn’t waiver). Highly recommend.

My husband has gotten several tattoos done here and I have gotten one myself. I was always impressed by the staffs professionalism and kindness. My tattoo that they did was my first and my nerves were so high. Neil did my tattoo I believe and he was teasing me to help me calm down. He also walked me through what he was doing and made it a lot less scary. I love this place and am planning on going back to get more and possibly some piercings done too.

Horrible piercer. Gauge too big. Poor quality piercing itself. Didnt pierce straight, its at an angle. Do not waste time or money on this guy.

Beautiful Body is my favorite place to go for tattoos and piercings. Neil is a wonderful artist. He is very gentle and great focus. During my last tat, he was the only one in the shop for a while and he had to stop a couple times to take care of people who walked in. He returned promptly and changed his gloves, staying perfectly sterilized. The shop is very clean and the entire staff is so nice. During my piercing, Neil explained every step and made sure I was comfortable. He also gives great tips for the healing process and I have never had any issues. Highly recommend this shop!

Absolutely beautiful work done by Loran Smith. Never written a review before but for my first tattoo, he was 100% the best artist I could have asked for; he deserves all the praise. He worked w me and was very patient and approachable during all of my questions and concerns- a very friendly guy in general. He ended up giving me a hefty discount at the end of my last session so I’m very grateful for that!Will definitely be coming back for my next one:)

Neil at Beautiful Body tattoo was recommended to me by a friend. I reached out to him over Instagram and he got back to me quickly and got me in for a consult. I had some designs and ideas for what I wanted but due to some other work I already had on my arm it was going to be a challenge. Neil advised me on a few things to help get the detail and most of the design to fit the location on my arm. The end was result was great and was very happy with the experience. Felt like the price was very reasonable. I’ll be going back to Neil for my next few tattoos for sure.

I have been coming to Beautiful Bodies since October of last year and I can honestly say there is no better place to go than here. Ive been to tattoo shops all over Lawrence and Kansas City and truly BB is the best! Ive gotten about a half a dozen tattoos done by Neil, the owner and hes just been incredible every time I come in. Hes quick, professional - I always leave a happy customer. The thing I like the most is, I bring him an idea and he just takes that idea and runs with it - adding on different pieces or better shading, etc. I love that about him. My seemingly normal tattoo doesnt end up so normal and actually ends up looking 10X better than if I had gone somewhere else. His pricing is fair, his shop is clean - I wont go anywhere else since Ive found BB.

My birthday was on & I was determined to get a tattoo that day. I called over a dozen shops that werent for sure going to give me a tattoo that day, but I walked into this shop, explained to Neil exactly what I wanted & drew up exactly I was looking for. He also worked around my budget which was perfect! I never had a better experience getting my second tattoo, it looks perfect & I was treated excellent! Neil is the way to go, Im for sure going back to him & this shop once I have my next idea!!

Neil does wonderful watercolor paintings. He also does awesome new traditional and traditional tattoos. I will only go to him from now on. Neil also did my industrial piercing. It is healing perfectly and he is very quick which I needed because it cut down on the anxiety and anticipation while waiting to get pierced. The shop was so clean and I loved the decor. All of the staff was friendly and it is definitely a place I would take my daughter to get her first piercing. I will be back!

Typically Im not one to leave a bad review but I want others to be aware of my experience as it wasnt a great one. I have many tattoos and have had many piercings in the past so I know what to expect for the most part. There were many red flags and I tried to look past them but ultimately paying the price. This was the first place I have never had to do any type of paperwork for, not even as much as checking my iD or asking my name. I was not asked if the placement was okay (or else I would have changed it) before being pierced. Mostly because I wear glasses and my glasses sat on top of the ball for the industrial bar which is painful. (2nd time having it pierced, I figured he would use the same holes as previous) He was extremely rough with the piercing itself even afterwards. It also wasnt placed correctly because it tried to embed into the flat of my ear and I had to remove it and have it repierced at another shop. Wish I had a better experience and I know not everyones experience will be the same. Just dont want it to happen to someone else. The shop itself was clean and they were nice, just rough and didnt ask if the placement was okay before putting a needle in me.

Love this place!! Ive been tattooed and pierced at this shop . Very clean and organized. Neil is an amazing artist and incredibly professional. I always feel relaxed and comfortable. I have several tattoos and have been to various shops in KC. Beautiful Body is my current favorite. I look forward to having more work done with them!

I went here on trip for my bday and this was one of the highlights of my weekend. I wish I could remember the artists name because he was absolutely amazing. I loved the results, but I also appreciated the vibe of this place. The artist introduced me and my friends to new music. It was an all around comfortable experience.

This shop was a shot in the dark for me at one point and have numerous tattoos. Met Neil and was a great experience from the very beginning. He now is my go to guy for any work I will ever get done. Smart, creative, and very artistic. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for work now! Great place and great work!

Ive had amazing experiences with 2 great artists in this shop. Loran and Neil are both very personable, professional and talented in their art. I appreciate that they both have been willing to work with my schedule...flexible with time availability. Cant wait to get my next work done... HIGHLY recommend.

I called to ask about their services. I sent links to various tattoos to see what could be done. He responded by email. I did not see his response until a week later. I chose to wait and continue locally instead of traveling to MO.

I learned about beautiful body when they first opened. I took my daughter to Neil to get her nose pierced. Neil was amazing with her. Very personable guy, he made her feel comfortable and at ease since it was her first piercing. My family has been going to Neil ever since. I have gotten my belly button pierced, a tattoo on my wrist, my husband got a tattoo on his arm, another daughter got her tongue pierced, we took a good friend to get a tattoo on her shoulder and much more over the years. All of this was done by Neil, he does excellent work and very easy to talk to. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Ive had one tattoo done by Neil who is a great guy and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Ive been to several artist and none compare to the quality of work and the price you receive at Beautiful Body. Neil was able to work with my skin being slightly darker and the outcome was perfect and no touch up was needed. Its been a year and people still compliment the design Neil drew and tattooed on my leg. I cant wait to get more pieces done here. As soon as you walk in to the shop its warm and inviting. Everything looks and smells clean and in order like a shop should be. There are a bunch of people hanging around making it look cluttered. Def the best place around here in Kansas City. Way better then my experiences with Freaks or other shops.

Got a thigh piece from Neil and went back and had it colored in. Its the most beautiful artwork I have. Spent 10 yrs trying to find someone I could trust and feel comfortable with putting another tattoo on my body. Hes relaxing, gentle, and talented. He far exceeded anything I could have asked for. Told him what I wanted and he improved upon it. Im even more comfortable in my own skin with this on it. Love it and will have him add more to my collection.

Neil is a very confident piercer and tattooer. Neil did a tattoo on my shoulder cap and a large piece on my back. I love the tattoos. He was very professional and good with working with my ideas to give me what I want. The shop is very clean and the rest of the artists and staff are very friendly. I will always go back and will always recommend my friends.

Went in to see Loren for a milestone event tattoo. I explained to him that I was moving across country and wanted a sunflower to commemorate my life in the Midwest and wanted something to tie in my friends and family too. I brought him photos of several sunflowers and we discussed my wants. He came up with a great idea of incorporating birthstone colors into some of the petals and in a few days his drawing was perfect! I loved the tattoo but had a few spots that once healed the shadowing was too light and I was moving in a few days. He was very accommodating and worked me in for a complimentary touch up before I moved away. I cannot thank or recommend Loren enough!!! Dont let his crude sense of humor scare you off ladies, he has genuine talent! Request him when you go in!

Wonderful experience. The artist was patient and very confident which put my mind at ease since I was having a piercing done. Did it hurt, yes a little. Her skill made it so much less than it could have been.

I first came in to get a dragon tattoo on my back about a year ago by the owner Neil, BEAUTIFUL WORK! By far the BEST tattoo shop in Kansas City and Kansas! I have gotten several more pieces of art on my body here including my ribs, neck, chest, and a half sleeve! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I received a nose piercing on 5/8/21 but I wanted to wait a few days before posting my review. First, when I called the business there was no answer however, on the voicemail it asked to text if there wasnt an answer. I texted and received a reply right away asking me to come in. The facility was clean and the Neil was welcoming. He took me in the back to pierce my nose and everything was also clean. He was quick and thorough. Now it is 5/13/21 and the piercing has had no swelling, no drainage and it seems as though it was done properly (I have been following his instructions by washing it with antibacterial soap as well). I was nervous about getting my nose pierced but he made me feel comfortable by talking to me and distracting me from the (obvious) pain I would be feeling. I will most definitely return for other piercings. I will also be receiving my next tattoo there as well.

I have gotten tattoos from both Loran and John! They both are amazing artists. Who definitely pride themselves in their work. I was very insecure about some stretch marks on my arm and after Loran was done with my original tattoo added on the butterfly to cover it. And it was SO amazing. They really pay attention and are amazing with their clients. Very clean. And very professional. Will never go anywhere else.💕

Neil where do I start.... I have never had such an amazing experience getting a Tat. Everything from actually having the Tat done to the healing process. Cleanliness, Professional, Quality. This was my first time in this shop. My 15yr old Dog recently crossed over rainbow bridge. Neil did my nose piercing 3 months ago and I havent had a moments trouble with it. He was very friendly, and he took his time answering all of my questions before and afterward. He had me check the position of the piercing before he began and was very careful about cleanup. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a piercing or tattoo.

Excellent customer service. Exactly what I wanted but better. Neil pierced my helix and did two half sleeves on me over about a month. Next is a coy fish on my ribs. Neil is a great artist and I recommend him to anyone looking to get a piercing or tattoo.

Both my husband and myself got work done today! Neil did both ours. He did an amazing job, we both absolutely love the work!!!!! I dont know what this other person is talking about with their bad review... Neil was very friendly and so were the other artists we spoke to. He was very smart about all of it and again very nice. We have been looking for a good artist to stay with and I think we found him! We both are going back for second sessions to add finishing touches. And we both will be going back for a lot more work too! The shop is clean and they have a lot of books and things to look through if your undecided! I have been to quite a few shops and this one is deff one of my favorites! We were both also told many times that if we need anything fixed and or touched up that it is part of the guarantee with the shop/artist. So that isnt an issue. I got a very detailed piece on my tiny arm lol and all the lines came out perfect. And for prices... I feel we got a hell of a deal, Mine is a half a sleeve and for what i paid its a great deal! Your deff not going to get ripped off with them. With in the few hours after we finished we have already referred a few people who stopped us amazed by the work. SO in my personal opinion they are great! I do know how hard it is to find a good artist (believe me.. Ive got a few pieces ill be having Neil fix for me) but I do believe you will find one here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck

This was my first tattoo and Neil made the process painless and enjoyable. He made sure the outline was placed perfectly to my liking before starting and stopped when I needed a break. 10/10 recommend Neil at Beautiful Body.

I got my belly-button pierced by Diego Saenz a week before my tattoo. It was quick and painless. He is a pro! I got my first tattoo with Diego, and it was a great experience. He was very nice and patient and listened to create exactly what I wanted. The tattoo session was perfect with wonderful professionalism and customer service. Diego took his time to make sure my tattoo came out beautiful. I would recommend this shop and Diego to anyone!!!! You must go here for your next tattoo or piercing!

If you want a tattoo or piercing custom to you and your body this is the place to go. I love Beautiful Body and will not go any other place. Clean shop, awesome artist and a great atmosphere I have had 2 piercings that were done right and healed great. I have had 4 tattoos done there and I love them. They do real nice pieces. You will not be disappointed.

Went in to get facial dermals and was treated very well. Neil was very polite and professional, I will be returning for future tattoo work because I was very impressed with the shop on an overall basis. I have now had 8 piercings done by Neil and trust only him to pierce any part of my body. I have had 3 tattoos done by Dave. I absolutely love the work that Dave did for me. I gave Dave my thoughts and he has drawn up my tattoos and exceeded my expectations. This is my tattoo & piercing home for life. If I ever move away from the city, I will save up and plan up my work and come back just for them to do my work. Nothing but the best at this shop. Clean, friendly, and always accomodating me.

Came in for a walk in and the guy sean I think was being really rude and didn’t work with me at all on what I wanted. I ended up leaving without getting one because he was not understanding. He also kept rolling his eyes and sighing whenever I was trying to explain my design idea. My friend got one and he scotch taped a pad to it after he was done.

Went with my buddy to get our first tats done. Sean got us both exactly what we were looking for and exceeded expectations. Was super cool and friendly. Even got us waters while going for the whole process. Definitely recommend

Had my throat piece done by Adam. Took about 3 1/2 hours. He was friendly and extra helpful. Went in with some concept drawings, let the artist add some of his expertise and it turned out amazing. Will definitely recommend ti anyone. Clean, quality, professional.Thanks again Adam and Neil

I went in with my wife to get her a tat (Neil was doing it) and I was sitting out front talking to Dave and he is really helpful on what to get and and how to get it going where the things I wanted would all go together. so the next day I went in and got one done by Neil. Neil gets my right arm and Dave gets my left arm. Very good people down to earth talk about whatever and not just there to take your money and kick you out the door.I will be spending many hours in the chairs in there and I would send anyone there to get a tat done, that goes for my mom also. GOOD JOB GUYS

Neil made me and my husband feel very comfortable and did a great job at tattooing exactly what we asked for. The shop was very clean and friendly and we will definitely go back.

Came in with a friend to get piercings and literally waited at the front for almost 20 minutes before we decided to just leave. No one ever came to greet us and there were a group of people visibly standing around together in the back that watched us come in. It was very uncomfortable and seemingly not a welcoming environment at all.

Loran was amazing! This is my first tattoo and it is beautiful! Very professional, courteous, and patient. He goes the extra mile for his customers for things such as numbing agents, bandage materials, and etc. The shop is clean and well kept and a comfortable environment. I will definitely be back for more and would confidently recommend this shop and Loran.

After spending over a year looking at Lorans work I finally got started on my sleeve. I gave him little direction and he created something so beautiful and amazing. Not only was Loran very easy to work with he is very friendly and easy to get along with. He made me feel completely comfortable and did an amazing job and was done QUICK! Im 110% satisfied with the beautiful work that he did. This was my 4th tattoo and by far my biggest and I will be going back to him for all future tattoo needs!

My mom and I met in Kansas City to celebrate my 21st birthday [we live on opposite ends of the country] and my mom decided she was going to get her first tattoo during our trip, so I decided to get my third one done as well. I did some searching around for a shop and it didnt take me long to find this one.This is the first shop Ive come across that in my opinion all the artists are equal in talent and abilities so when I showed it to my mom I knew that she had an excellent selection of artists without sending her a million different shops. [Which was amazing because Ive never been that impressed by a specific shop before and also because we were on a time crunch and visiting so if someone wasnt available, maybe someone else would be and Im sure we wouldnt have had to sacrifice on quality.] We had thought about getting them done at the same time also, but I was pleasantly surprised that my mom and I both had one artist in particular that stood out. We contacted Beth, who we learned works there part-time and luckily she was available to work with both of us even on such short notice!We got to the shop early and while we were waiting the shop owner, Neil, talked to us and was very nice and personable and made us feel comfortable. In my past experience I wasnt usually talked to by anyone except the guy doing my tattoo after I told them who it was that I was there for, but this was not the case here!!She had accidently left her bag at home [she works another job during the day] so we had to wait a little bit for her to print and get set up, but we didnt mind. Logan, who is another amazing artist with many excellent reviews from what I had seen came out from the back after he had finished with another persons tattoo and talked with us for a bit as well, and Beth said that Logan does her tattoos which lets you know the quality, trust, and Im assuming friendship that they have with each other as well.My mom went first so she wouldnt chicken out and Beth was very personable and kind with my nervous mom! In my experience, the guy that I went to when I got my first one done was really skeptical that I would go through with it and was very impersonable until it was done when he realized that I didnt cry at all and he never had to tell me to be still, then I earned his respect I guess. But Beth was patient, explained everything she was doing and why, answered my moms questions and never appeared to be judgmental or rushing. During the process she played good music and we talked a lot throughout. It didnt feel awkward or forced at all, I thought we all got along well.We both got our tattoos on our inner forearm and it hurt my mom a lot, but mine didnt hurt too much, but when it comes to the coloring, I bled more than my mom did [which I have heard is annoying to deal with but she didnt complain or anything].The price was great and fair as well, especially for the amazing job she did!They both look fantastic, I already got a compliment on the color!We were so grateful for the experience and expertise and I would definitely travel the 8 hours to have her do my future tattoos!One tip on the shop in general is that they do cash only so make sure to get a good quote and bring enough for the tip as well!!

After 3 YEARS of knowing Loran I finally had some time to get a tattoo from him. He is TOP NOTCH. Wanted a simple dog print of my Great Dane and his name tattooed and Loran fit me in that very same day, as well as knocked out the tattoo in roughly 45 mins. He is amazing at what he does. Will coming back for the new paw print of my newest Great Dane! :)

Ive had cheek dermals done 3 times total. Two other places then beautiful body. It was way more painful than any other place Id gone too. I bled way more than I had before. Within about a month one side of my dermal began pushing out so I could see the anchor. Then 5 months in the top gem fell off. I texted during business hours on a Tuesday but couldnt be squeezed in until the next day. When I asked if there was any possible way to do same day cuz I had a photoshoot that evening I didnt even get a response. I went to supernatural who got me in that day. I will be going there in the future and would Highly recommend there over here.

John kroll has done all 3 of my tattoos and he is the absolute best! I dont trust anyone else to put ink on my body. He always is very flexible and so kind! The shoe is always nice and everyone is very friendly everytime Ive been!

My girlfriend got two piercings 3 weeks ago. During her visit a worker made unprofessional comments about her breasts. She did not have her photo id scanned/copied and did not receive a receipt. I called the owner on her behalf to see if a refund could be issued when the piercings came out. The owner refused then got very upset and asked me if I would say it to his face. He then told me to not ask questions about his business practices. If anyone is reading this I would suggest stay clear from this shop and to investigate his business to make sure the people he works according to the law.

Ive been looking for a tattoo artist since i moved down here in February. Ive been referred to bumerous places. But i found this one on monday and fell in love. After reading the reviews it seemed like a good choice. So i called. Niel was super friendly. He worked around my schedule which was amazing. I went yesterday to get my tattoo. Mind you this was my FIRST tattoo. I was scared and panicking. But it was comfortable. He didnt get irritated or rude if i made noises or moved. The music actually helped me focus and after a while. I barely felt the pain. He helped bring my vision to life. Im super happy with my tattoo. There is nothing i could say wrong about to the tattoo. This is the ONLY place i will go to from now on. Neil is the absolute best. I highly reccommend him to anyone looking. Especially first timers

Walked in on a Saturday evening and talked to Jacob about doing a cockatiel tattoo for my late grandma (she always had these birds). I showed him a particular picture I liked and he was down to do it, even that same evening! I had somewhere that I needed to be though so we scheduled it for Monday afternoon. When I walked in and saw what he had drawn up I was in love! He kept the same style as the picture but changed the flower design that was with it to a rose (which he is awesome at!). Took about 3 and half hours and only took like two very mini breaks, then was right back at it! Jacob told me hes just starting to get into color but if he keeps at it I think hell be a rock star!! Thanks again

DO NOT GO HERE. This place literally traumatized my sister when she came in to get her nose pierced. The man barely spoke to her or explained what he was doing before he pierced it and completely messed it up. The whole process was over in the matter of 2-3 minutes and he did not give her any instructions for caring for her piercing. The piercing was crooked and stuck out too far from her nose. She had to go to another tattoo parlor to have her nose re-pierced in the end. Please do not waist your money here.

I wanted to get a tattoo in memory of a friend that died, so I decided to go in on his birthday. Dave was very accommodating, working around other aspects of my schedule that day. The tattoo turned out better than I could have hoped - closely matching the original photo right down to the tiny writing. The price was more than reasonable for the level of artwork and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.

Loran Smith is AMAZING! Ive known the man for 3+ years. Hes done work on myself, my fiancé, and my friends. Hands down awesome dude. All the guys do great work and are fun to be around. I got my nose piercing done here and I can say they are the best. I was so scared before the piercing but within seconds it was done and trust me it was not at all painful. The employees are friendly and this place is always recommended.

I called this place and was able to get in right away and the artist was very professional and detailed in his work. The places is awesome and Ill for sure be back for any tattoos I have done in the future. When you go to this place ask for Neil.

My piercing experience here was by far my worst piercing experience ever. I came in for a double helix. He had me mark where i wanted my top piercing and said he would place the bottom one accordingly. Well he pierced my top piercing right where i asked, but then when he went for my bottom piercing he said coops. pierced them to close and without warning pierced me a third time to fix it. It bled like crazy. He also sprayed my fresh piercing with a stream, not mist, of straight alcohol. He then told me i was ok to change my double cartilage in 4 WEEKS! You cant even change a lobe piercing in 4 weeks. He seemed to be making it up as he went along. I am very disappointed in my experience here and i cant see how they have 4.8 stars.

I got my tattoo done by LORAN... Amazing tattoo artist, very personable and went the extra mile to make sure my tattoo was perfect. The shop was clean, all of their equipment was sterile and in good working order. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I am sure I will be going back to get more work done soon.

Well, just got my septum pierced here. What a nightmare. Tired calling the shops number multiple times and really got the run around and some super rude phone educate. Finally was told I should be at the shop at 12:45pm. Showed up and waited until 1:25pm because the guy wasnt even there. Really at this point I should have just gone somewhere else. But, I didnt. My mistake. Anyways...The piercer lined up my piercing and TOOK A PHONE CALL while the clamps were on my nose. I thought maybe he was just getting a feel for the spot, but with no warning shoved the needle through my nose and roughly put my jewellery in. Finally when he got off the phone he had the nerve to hit on me, make an inappropriate comment on how good my body looked and sent me on my way. He gave me no information on how to even take care of my new piercing.Horrible. This is the kind of thing that gives the business a bad name.

I had a HORRIBLE experience. I went here to get my nose pierced on my 19th birthday a little over a year ago. It was sooo painful, and the ring wouldnt stay in right. I went to another place only to find out this guy had done it wrong. The needle had been hanging straight out of the bottom of my nose (I have it on video). I had to let it heal up and get it done again. This time the right way from someone who felt so bad for me he gave me a discount. I dont know about their tattoos, but the piercing was an awful, awful experience. Dont go.

I went through two tattoo artists who were unresponsive and arrogant before finding Loran Smith at a convention. He listened to everything that I wanted. I had kanji on my foot that needed to be covered, and I knew I needed someone amazing to fix it the way I wanted. You only have one chance for foot cover ups! He sketched it for me, listened to how I wanted to alter it, and then he drew it for me on my foot, taking the time out to make sure it was what I wanted. He let me play my own music from my phone and was fine with the fact I needed three supporters. The shop was clean, and the people were friendly. Ive found my artist and shop for life!

Worst experience ever! Wasted $40 for nothing, I went there to get my belly button pierced and a few weeks later noticed it was really crooked and wasnt even in the middle of my belly button, its wayyyy over to the right side. Very disappointed and would love to get my $40s back. FYI Diego is the one who pierced it. So would highly not recommended him.

Beth did an amazing job on my bracelets. She was able to give me everything I was asking for. Other shops told me it was impossible or wanted an outragous price. But when I stopped in and Beth looked at my idea she gave me the price and I was in the chair an hour later.

Would NOT recommend getting a piercing here. Unhygienic and no attention to detail. Everything felt very rushed. Piercing sat at a weird angle so I had to go get it redone elsewhere. Worst piercing experience ever. Dont waste your money!

Owner was very rude when I asked if the piercer wore a mask while with their clients. Proceeded to tell me “If you touch the door handle, you’ll get COVID.” We all have our differences, but I didn’t deserved to be treated like that. Very unprofessional.

Love BB. The owner is their quite often and is also an artist you can work with. Not all shops can tout this. Its small and quaint with traditional pieces to peruse as well as some magazines and other collections. Of course, the artist make use of the popular social media sites (Instagram, FB, etc.) So you get to see some of their work before deciding to work with them. A comfortable couch in the lobby makes for an inviting space that is no frills but plenty of character.

Neil pierced my left nostril and my tragus. It was a great experience and I will definitely go back for more piercings. I may possibly check out their tattoo work one day =)

I only give 4 stars because there is only one person that does piercings which is the owner so if you do a walk-in and he is not there you have to try to set an appointment. There is no front desk staff so I actually had to wait a while and then found out I need to schedule an appointment which I did and everything worked out.

I called in to ask about the bussiness hours two times first time i was hung up on after two rings second time a male answered and was rude and disrespectful and refused to answer my question then hung up i would not recommend for this reason if the staff will not work with the client on a simple phone call then why should the client trust the bussiness to give them something that is permanently put on their body
