Ive been getting lots of work done on my sleeve by Brock and cant thank him enough for the work hes done. The whole shop is super friendly and chill, all of the artists there are all super talented and experienced. The location of the shop is very clean and inviting. Be sure when youre looking around to get work done, you look at portfolios of the artists and even swing by and take look inside because Ive made the mistake of going where I can get a deal or didnt want to wait and ended up paying for it with a trash tattoo. You want someone like these guys who will take time to make sure you get what you want and love! Thank you so much Brock

I’ve been to several shops in KC with other people etc because I’m obsessed with the art form, but Done-Rite is where I insist on getting mine. This shop really stands on it’s own. They’re good people, true professionals, and do solid work. I always get a kick out of people asking me where I get my tattoos b/c they look like they’re “done right”. They’re aptly named.Mike D is an amazing artist, he’s taken my vague & scattered ideas and wound them together on the fly into a sleeve that is beyond anything I imagined. I’m a control freak in many facets but I love sitting back and letting Mike just go because I know the result will be stunning. You can trust these guys.Special place imo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got a matching tattoo with my mother from Brock. The tattoos are exactly what we wanted, gorgeous, and placed precisely where we each wanted. Theyre beautiful, and I couldnt be more pleased. The price was honestly lower than we thought they should have been, so we gave a pretty decent tip as well.I loved my experience, and I will almost certainly be back pretty soon! 11/10 would recommend

Brock always does exactly what I am looking for and always checks to make sure that I am comfortable throughout the process. The shop is laid back and inviting, plus all employees are very friendly and welcoming, and they don’t overcharge for tattoos like most shops downtown. Definitely check this place out and ask for brock!

If you have sensory issues (or other neurodivergencies), but you enjoy displaying art on your body, go see Mike D. The shop is very clean, organized and quiet. Hes on time, professional and patient. The manner in which he tattoos you provides the ideal experience. He holds you and the skin firm enough so youre not feeling radiating vibrations. For me, this truly made the difference in recovery and healing.

Love the soft spoken Brock whom crafted my tatoo with colors beautifully! I brought an idea of what I wanted and he expanded on that and gave me 3 different sizes of prints from which I chose the one I love. (My camera does not do this tatoo or the beautiful colors of this tatoo justice.)

Brock did an excellent job, at no point was this tattoo painful enough that I had to stop, he made sure to check on me frequently and let me know the progress as it was coming along. Will definitely be returning for more work!

Some wires got crossed somewhere and we werent on the schedule but Brock still took great care of us. Would gladly come back and will definitely recommend Brock and the shop.

Two of the best artist in Kansas City and the entire Midwest. Very relaxing Custom shop no foot traffic are flash on walls . The person who gave them 1 star obviously doesn’t know that it’s by appointment only & you’ll never see are hear anything bad about this shop are the tattoo artist who do work out of there. So ya I’ve been getting work done with them for over a decade now and the doors always open when they give me a 9 am appointment.

Great artists Ben and Mike do amazing work. They will not dissapoint. After several other shops artists were unwilling to execute my design vision because it wasnt going to be easy Ben stepped up and took on the callenge. Ben was easy to work with, and is a skilled artist. You will likely have to book an appointment months in advance but the quality of the work is worth it.

My wife and I came to KC for our 10 year Anniversary and met Brock. He does fantastic work!!!! We will drive 5 hours again to let him ink us!

Scott Shickman is the best. Scott has been my artist for several years. Done Rite is a great place, right next to Grinders. Five Stars!!
