Had my first tattoo done by Kai Pierce and had an amazing time. Not only where they a blast to talk to, they made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I loved how they were able to design something personal for me and I would highly recommend if youre in the market for a tattoo go see them!

Very happy with my experience with Zach Yates. I came in to schedule a half sleeve for a couple weeks out, paid my deposit and sent the photos to his email. While I was there I decided to get a little something small, but had to wait a for another artist to take me since Zach had to leave after the client he was already working on. Well to my pleasant surprise, he still went ahead and accommodated me! I must say, I am beyond impressed with his work, his personality and just the complete amazing customer service he provided. I cant wait to go back for my half sleeve! This is now my shop and will not go anywhere else. Great first impressions go a long way! Thank you Zach!!!

Absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I came here for our first tattoos and had Lindsey and Zach. They are both outstanding artists and Lindsey was so patient with my nerves to get my first tattoo. The shop is so cute and clean. Will definitely be coming back.

This place was awesome. Me and my friend came in for the get what you get tattoos and we were immediately helped the moment we walked in. We each got Frankenstein tattoos which turned out amazing! We each love our pieces and our artist was super responsive to what we were wanting and did a great job. Everything was a pleasant experience from the atmosphere, conversation, and the artwork. HIGHLY recommend this place. For both tattoos, it costed only $200 which is fantastic for the size, color, and tattoo itself.

Ive had 2 tattoos done by Steve Bayman at Golden Stag. One was a 6 1/2 hour dragon-koi, and the other took about an hour or so of Link off a special flash page that he drew up. I love them both! Everybody at Golden Stag is very friendly and Steve does magnificent work!

Very clean tattoo studio and very skilled artists. I had a small detailed tattoo and Tommy had it knocked out within a couple hours and looking amazing. He was very light handed, there was barely any discomfort and twelve hours later I dont really have any seeping or pain on the tattoo site.

I finally decided to pull the trigger and got my first tattoo as a walk in. They took me right in. I got Lindsey and Im so happy with what she created for me. Super professional and nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place. Also was nice they made time for me right when I walked in.

Kai was my tattoo artist! They are amazing and very talented! They did their best to make sure I got the best tattoo possible. The workspace is super clean and welcoming. Kai is extremely friendly and attentive I would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting a tattoo. They were patient and kind to me through my whole tattoo and never made me feel bad for being in pain.

I had a Viking ax and a Wolf tattoo done by steve, very High quality work for a reasonable price. I highly suggest golden stag Tattoo shop. large space and nice waiting area. Great experience. I did get what you get and my guy let me go again since we were all taken by surprise at the 1st one.😅The 2nd was this lil guy. Raor.Was quick and is healing nicely. The artist was decent-handed and had solid lines. Style isnt my typical but I love it.

Lindsey is fantastic. I plan on getting a lot of work done by her. We started on a pretty major piece and Ive seen her twice now. Others in the shop have always been super welcoming. Clean shop and chill vibes.

This was my first tattoo and it was a great experience that I’ll definitely be recommending this to others! The place was exceptionally clean, like not even a spot of dust anywhere. Steve was also great and explained the whole process and what he was doing, I was very nervous as it was my first time. But Steve asked me questions and that helped distract from the pain. My tattoo turned out way better than I imagined it to be and I’m so glad that I got it! They also sell aftercare and Steve had good instructions to continue to manage the tattoo. All and in all, this is a great place!

Came in as a walk in with my brother after calling to make sure they had time. Staff was friendly and kind. Shop was well kept and clean. I got my stomach/ sternum done and I felt safe and comfortable and was given a partition wall to be given privacy.

Just finished my session with Mathew and it was awesome from start to finish. He took his time to make sure my tattoo placement was perfect and did an exceptional job with it. Had a great experience. Mr. Barbosa did a tattoo for myself and my spouse. He was very clean and followed every possible sanitary rule that might exist, which we really appreciated. His linework was fantastic and he was very understanding and did such a wonderful job. I hope we can get a tattoo again from him next year!

Worked with Matthew and everything went really well! My first idea didnt pan out but we did some brainstorming together and found something else, and Im super happy with how it turned out! I saw some amazing art on a friend and ended up getting a referral to the owner of this studio. After many hours of tattooing and thousands of dollars well spent, my sides, chest, and sleeves are inked with some of the best art I’ve seen. Steve Bayman is an amazing tattoo artist and human being. We’ve spent a great deal of time together these days, and it’s crazy cool how good of an artist, person, and dad he is. I’d HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone looking!

A really great place with a focus on art and quality tattooing. I love the ability to experience a gallery, as well as have access to some of the best artists in the country. Colby is a true diehard fan of tattooing and its history, which greatly shows in the quality of his artwork/tattooing. Multiple friends of mine have been praising this shop and I definitely see why. I got a tattoo here not too long ago done by Colby Morton. It was fantastic and it came out how I wanted it to. Colby did a great job, he listened to what I wanted and was very accommodating. He definitely knows what he’s doing! This is going to be my new regular tattoo place.

By far the best tattoo experience I had. I got tattooed by Lindsey and she was so sweet and made my tattoo completely custom (she drew it directly onto my arm). She asked me many times if I was okay or needed a break, and although it hurt (as tattoos do) she made the experience so enjoyable. This shop is the best. All the artist are excel at their tattoos. I would let any of them tattoo me. Originally I started going to Bayman years ago when he was at a different shop. I followed him to his new shop Golden Stag. His line work is steady and to be 💯 % honest if you take something into him and it’s his coworkers specialty he will refer you to Him. He wants his customers to have the best experience in his shop weather it to ink by him or one of his coworkers. Plus while your there check out the art gallery.

Can’t give Golden Stag Tattoo enough stars. Steve has done most of my tattoos, including a cover up on my back and a full, custom sleeve. And he has done all of my husband’s tattoos.Everywhere I go people compliment my sleeve and ask who does my work. Steve does amazing work and has a beautiful, clean shop.There are a ton of shops in town but THIS is place I tell people to go.

I got my thigh piece done here by Lindsey and she was awesome. It is the biggest I have and she offered for me to take breaks and made sure I was good. She was so sweet and welcoming and did a fabulous job on making my tattoo look better than I could have imagined!

Not enough communication. I made an appointment about a month in advance to get a tattoo done on my 21st birthday. I had sent a sketch to give an idea of what I wanted and asked two days before the appointment to see what the artist had drawn. I got no response. The next day I asked again and still got no response. I had to call and ask them to send it to me and then I didnt receive the photo until 11pm that night. The photo looked almost exactly like the sketch I had sent them so they basically just copied it which was not what I wanted. The sketch I sent was meant to give a basic idea, not be the actual tattoo. I had wanted it to be vastly improved on since Im not the best artist. I explained what I wanted changed and sent a few reference photos of other tattoos I found online to give them a better idea of what I was going for. The artist then says that they cant do that because it is to realistic and basically cancels my appointment the night before, giving me no time to set a new appointment with another artist in time for my birthday. I had gone thru the artists portfolio on their website before hand and they had many realistic drawings, one was even black and white in a similar style to what I had wanted, so I didnt see why this was out of the scope of their ability. I thought I had been descriptive enough and given enough detail for them, but apparently not. I feel if they had sent their drawing sooner when I first initially asked for it then we could have realized it wouldnt work sooner and had time to get a different artist at the shop to do it instead. I realize they are busy and have other customers, but they should still be able to answer and respond to a few texts to ensure all of their customers are happy and satisfied. In the end this ultimately ruined my 21st birthday, which was supposed to be a fun and special day.

Bayman has been tattooing me for about 9 years now. 6 tattoos later, a feature in his profile book, and I still only go to him and his shop. He has awesome custom art and does great work for great prices! The new shop is awesome, clean, inviting and very professional. I always tell anyone that asks me to go to Steve at Golden Stagg. Looking forward to getting more tatoos!

This truly is the place to go! Literally our whole family has had our work done here! The work has been amazing! And its nice to know that he loves his work and is willing to listen to our ideas, yet give that perfect touch of his option to make our ideas a reality!! Wouldnt go anywhere else! I have been to see Steve quite a few times. Previously at Butch’s and now at Golden Stag Tattoo. It is a very nice shop. Very clean and well kept. I like that they have art shows also supporting local artists. Super cool guys and great artists themselves. I would and do recommend them to anyone who is interested.

Batman is the best tattoo artist I have been too and the only one I’ll go to. I have many tattoos from him and I have yet to have to have any touched up even years later. He did a cover up for me and you can’t even tell that I ever had a tattoo under it. He does amazing work and is very fair on price.

Went in and got a tattoo of a frog from the gumball machine. I liked it but then I seen he left the nostrils open and I asked my artist Matthew to fill it in. He did that then randomly for NO reason blacked in the eyes more. Now my frogs eyes look terrible and Im stuck with it for life.He was also rude.See someone else.

Not the worst but not the best. Avoid if you need line work - my lines are a little shaky and blurry even once it healed, which is a bummer up close but not really noticeable otherwise. Shop minimum is cheap and they took me quickly as a walk in. Guys are friendly and the shop is clean.

I am so unbelievably thrilled with Golden Stag! Steve did my thigh piece (pictured) literally a few hours ago. He was super easy to work with, was accommodating, and SUPER knowledgeable! He gives honest feedback and is very informative. The shop overall…is BEAUTIFUL. I love all of the plants and artwork hung up around the shop, and I also for the opportunity to meet all the other artists at Golden Stag as well. Super friendly team, I am blown away by the unique talent each of them carry and I can’t wait to come back! I can’t recommend this place enough and I’m so happy to feel like I finally found my “home” tattoo shop!!! 🙏🏻
