Oh my goodness!!! I cannot fully express how much I love this shop!!! I currently have 4 tattoos done by Sarah (the most recent just a few months ago)…. and I’ll be adding more soon. The artists are talented professionals through and through, the shop is clean, they put you at ease, and so much more. A truly wonderful experience.

I am so impressed by this beautiful shop. Very cute and very clean. Easy to find. Stephanie is amazing! Very friendly, easy to talk to and she makes you feel at home. I felt like I had known her for years. She got me in for a simple tattoo at last minute and now as she likes to call it, we are plotting for more!! I will be back to see Stephanie for many more tattoos to come! Thank you Stephanie for being amazing!

My experience at Vivid was one of the best Ive ever had for a piercing. Not only was it incredibly clean, professional, and welcoming but Stephanie was an amazing piercer. She was so accommodating and patient with me and made sure that my experience was the best for me. I couldnt have asked for anything more wonderful. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Been here a whole bunch of times for tattoos with Sarah and piercings with Stephanie.Sarah is in absolute professional in every possible way. She manages to make ideas in my head to as near as possible perfect realities. The whole process is clean and professional. I would and have highly recommended her as an artist to many people I know and care about. It always happens when people see my tattoos and say who did that!?Stephanie is fantastic as well. She has lovely energy and has done a great job with all of my piercings from her (8 current but 11 Ive gotten total from). Shes been very helpful in providing information to me as well about my piercings and planning out future ones. And shes such a sweetheart.Pricing is incredibly fair given the professionalism, years of experience, and evident quality and talent within the work. I would highly recommend Vivid for tattoo and piercing wants or needs.

Sarah is absolutely wonderful at doing large shaded black and gray tattoos. I have only good things to say about her work. A few weeks ago, she did a Lovecraftian tattoo for me. Despite not knowing the tattoos literary roots, she captured the spirit of Livecrafts Elder Things (aliens who built a city in Antarctuca).

Sarah has done all my work over the last few years and she is the best! Friendly, professional and clean environment. Great shop all around!

Rosie is absolutely, top notch, impressively talented! She takes ideas and makes them perfection! This shop is clean, all boss babe women, and full of talent! They make you feel very welcomed and just as excited as you are to add art to your body!

Vivid Tattoo is easily the best piercing shop Ive been to -- the staff are amazing and so are the prices! The shop has a great vibe to it. I got 3 piercings from Stephanie; I had previously been to Vivid when they had a different piercer to get my jewelry changed out, so I hadnt met Stephanie before. She was excellent throughout the process and was super friendly. All of my friends who have gone have had excellent experiences as well. Definitely recommend Vivid for tattoos and piercings!

I had a great experience for my first tattoo here! Sarah is so kind and not only a great artist but great company during your visit. I got a small strawberry tattoo on my ankle. The stencil was perfect, and I was in and out! So happy with it and looking forward to coming back for more pieces!!

Some of the best artists you could ever ask for or hope to find. Not only do they support local charities, but they also support local athletes by advertising with them.

I love this shop. Got my first tattoo there and I plan to go back and get more. Rosie is so talented and created exactly what I envisioned, using the colors that I love. Sara is the person you want if you are in the military or are a veteran and want something special to show it. Go talk to them. Just know...they are the best and are in high demand. So you need to go in and talk to them in advance so you can make an appointment.

Rosie had the lucky job of doing my first ever tattoo. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasnt locked in on a design so she had some freedom to come up with something I might like and the result was above and beyond what I expected. She was very cool and made the whole experience an absolute breeze and I will definitely be going back in the future. Her work was extremely well done and I couldnt be happier. She also did my sisters tattoo which was amazing too.

Came here to get two more piercings in my earlobes & was very happy with my experience! I left with very clear aftercare instructions. Stephanie did a fabulous job taking care of me.

Shelby was absolutely amazing! When I called to get some details about getting a nose piercing, Shelby was super helpful and professional. She was very reassuring since this was my first ever nose piercing, and kept me informed while completing the procedure. Even when I almost passed out after (due to my fear of needles) she was super patient and kind about it. I would definitely recommend her!

Rosie does such amazing work. She did two of my tattoos and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Shelby is very helpful and knowledgeable also. She did a few of my piercings. Love this place!

Had a tattoo done today by Shelby! Its not quite done yet, but its beautiful and perfect so far and exactly what I was wanting! Going back in a few weeks to finish it up. She is so friendly, warm, comforting and good conversations. And so glad she came up with a better idea of color for my tattoo than I did.. lol, I love it!

Sarah, the owner of this shop, has done all 13 of my tattoos. She is professional, friendly, a great artist, and happily does custom pieces. The shop is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The work is reasonably priced (based on time spent on the tattoo). Every time I go in for a new tattoo, I think this is my new favorite. Sarah does work both for breast cancer awareness and for animal protection, and even makes her own tattoo healing balm. I love this shop and will gladly get my future work done here, as well.

Got my first tattoo here yesterday from Rosie. She made sure that what I was getting was what I wanted and also had some great ideas for making the tattoo really pop. She’s very easy to have a conversation with which really helped the time go by when getting the tattoo. The end result is an amazing tattoo that I will get to enjoy for years to come! I highly recommend Vivid Tattoo (as do many people I know) and I know where to go get a high quality tattoo experience in the future.

Great experience. I originally went while a friend got their tattoo and the shop was comfortable with a welcoming staff. Everything is clean and as a first time customer, I felt like a regular. They worked with me on my design and helped with some edits based on my price range and preferences.I would recommend them to anyone.

Devon Dagger is the only tattoo artist to go to in San Diego.Devon Dagger did a beautiful Neo-Traditional gypsy girl tattoo on my lower leg. After spending so much time and care with my consultation, I was blown away by the drawing she had ready for me the day of my appointment. She really listened to what I wanted and waited until we shared a vision to move forward with the tattoo.Getting tattooed by Devon was a wonderful experience. The music in the shop was great and although tattoos always hurt some how the time flew by. She has such a gentle hand and I really enjoyed my time spent with such a beautiful soul.My gypsy healed perfectly and she even called me a week later to see how I everything was going with my new tattoo.Devon blew me away every step of the way. I didnt know getting tattooed could be such an experience. Ill never settle for less again and cant wait to work with her on my next tattoo project.Thank you Devon for creating a tattoo I will love forever!

Sarah is an amazing artist. I came in with an idea for a cover up and she drew it up beautifully. I used a numbing gel she sells and didn’t feel a thing during a 4 hour back job!

There isnt an artist better than Rosie in my opinion...She takes her time tattooing every detail, shes very light handed, which helps a lot with the tattooing pain. I will defiently have my next tattoo done by her, no doubt about it.
