Inksmith Tattoo and Piercing

Could not have asked for a better experience today at Inksmith! My daughter (8) was getting her ears pierced for the first time and was super nervous. Once we arrived, every single employee made our visit welcoming, fun, relaxed and most importantly, successful! Denice was so kind to my girl and both her and Vanessa did a great job during the process at making her feel calm and joyful. We will definitely be back with my other daughter in the future and maybe even myself!I do also want to add that the Little Lobes link on their website detailed out exactly experience today. I highly suggest reading through that before your appointment and follow their recommendations and requests. A little prep on the parent’s part goes a long way for your kiddo and the staff.

We booked the little lobes piercing service. Vanessa was incredible; at every turn she was checking in with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable and understood what was happening. “It’s your body, your choice” “do you want to ask any questions?” “we’ll wait until you’re ready”… etc. My daughter was understandably nervous and Vanessa took the time to pierce her stuffy’s ear in advance so she could see exactly how quick and easy the process was. Bianca and Vanessa were patient, professional and SAFE.I’m so happy we invested in a professional piercing; it was well worth the money.

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced after it was recommended by local moms. The staff were great and friendly, but the pricing was insane. The available jewelry is all incredibly expensive and the pricing when booking is misleading. Its $50 per ear, PLUS jewelry, PLUS the care kit. They dont mention earrings started at $40 EACH unless you wanted to choose the $25 kit and have them shame you for it. You can get medical grade titanium earrings for a fraction of the price. I walked out spending over $200 for a little girls ear piercing. While the staff did a great job, I feel taken advantage of by the overall business and will not be back.

Amazing experience for my sons first piercing. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The environment was clean and inviting. Bianca is the Best! Kind, and walks you through everything! We will definitely be doing all our piercing here!!

Absolutely love this shop! I was a walk in and worked with Leo for a small piece on my forearm. He was so awesome to work with, hes now doing an entire sleeve for me. My daughter got her ears pierced today!!We went to Inksmith Tattoo and Piercing in Louisville and they were absolutely amazing with her! We worked with Vanessa and Magdalena! They both took their time with explaining the process and made it so Lilly wasnt a bit scared! I couldnt have imagined a better experience!!

I absolutely loved my artist Luke K. Everyone in the shop was very polite and professional. I booked an appointment and it was great from start to finish.

I loved my experience here. Vanessa was so great. She made me feel welcomed and made the whole experience fun. However, after coming here, I learned she pierced my conch with a 14 gauge which only made the healing process longer. Not to mention that I can’t find jewelry anywhere for a conch piercing that is that gauge. Why? Because a 14 gauge is commonly used for nipple piercings. I wonder if she did this because she just wants more people to go to this store and purchase their jewelry instead of finding more affordable jewelry that is still Implant Grade Titanium and safe for piercings. I will never go here again. Prices are crazy and you can definitely find better places to go that isn’t this far out.

Can’t recommend this shop enough! Got my naval pierced by Bianca and she absolutely crushed it. Took her time getting it lined up perfectly and helped me choose jewelry that best fit my anatomy. She also got me a juice box when I was light headed afterwards 😂 Overall such a wonderful experience, I will be back for more piercings from Bianca!

Leo is amazing! He worked with me to come up with the perfect design for my tattoo and his work is beautiful! He is also a genuinely cool person to hang out with while getting the work done. Great studio and friendly staff.

Ive gotten two piercings from here, my nose and my bellybutton. overall ive had a very positive experience! i love all the staff! i feel so safe coming here and comfortable with the staff. vanessa is so gentle and walks you through the entire process, which is something i greatly appreciate. bianca is also amazing. prices are higher but thats to be expected with higher quality material. this place is super clean and sterilizes everything.my only complaint would be that vanessa pierced my belly button with a bar too small last week, causing it to become infected and swollen. Bianca changed it for me today and i feel so much better. no hard feelings at all, the situation was resoved very well, id come here again!

What a super postive experiance! My friend and I both were pierced by Vanessa who made the whole process painless - literally and figuratively! Vanessa was super up front about the pricing, what to expect, and was absolutely charming! If you are thinking about getting a percing, but might be a little nervous - this place and the people here have got you covered!

The shop as a whole is amazing. I have been fortunate to be Tattooed by Leo Gagliardi several times now and each time he goes above and beyond. His love for tattooing is apparent and it definitely comes through in the work. Highly recommended. I would venture to say he is the Sylvester Stallone of tattooing.

Vanessa did a great job re-piercing my belly button. I didn’t have an appointment, but they still accepted me. It was quick and smooth! It is a nice and clean shop. I will definitely come back and recommend them to my friends and family.

Strong caution for parents: Do not bring your children here.As parents, we always strive to create joyful and memorable experiences for our children, such as celebrating the milestone of their first earrings. It’s with a heavy heart that I must share our deeply unsettling experience at Inksmith Tattoo and Piercing in Louisville, hoping to spare other families the distress we endured.We arrived on time for our 4 PM appointment, but werent acknowledged until 4:20 PM. Right away, the staff aggressively tried to upsell us, pushing earrings priced at $100 that looked worth no more than $5, and items marked $500 that seemed worth $20 at most. Their visible irritation when we hesitated only intensified the pushy salesmanship that defined the rest of our visit. They get away with this because you have to choose their earrings, but theres no justification for such extreme overpricing.The situation deteriorated rapidly when the staff, including one of the owners, Danice Powers, repeatedly scolded our young children for minor movements. Our kids were already clam and on their iPads and still, yet the reprimands continued relentlessly. The most disheartening moment came when we were told to remove our children from the store and wait outside, a directive that was both humiliating and unreasonable.By 5 PM, an hour past our scheduled time, after a short discussion outside about whether to proceed given the hostile atmosphere, I requested our daughter be brought out so we could leave. Instead of accommodating this simple request, Danice herself confronted me. She handled our daughter roughly and pushed me multiple times outside the store while loudly berating me in front of her. This level of aggression was shocking and completely inappropriate, especially in the presence of a child.Attempting to address this behavior over the phone later only invited further aggression from Danice’s husband, confirming that our negative experience was reflective of the establishments overall attitude and not merely an isolated incident.This visit was intended to be a special moment for our children, but instead, it was marred by fear and mistreatment. The aggressive behavior and physical confrontations were utterly unacceptable, especially in a professional setting meant to ensure safety and comfort.Please, fellow parents, consider this experience before deciding to visit Inksmith Tattoo and Piercing. What was supposed to be a delightful family outing turned into a scenario of intimidation and disrespect. Clearly, this establishment is not equipped with the decorum or empathy required to serve families appropriately.To the owners, Danice and her husband: please reconsider how you handle young families. Expecting children as young as four and seven to wait over an hour and then stand still on a sidewalk for an extended period is not only unreasonable but also shows a lack of empathy and professionalism. This practice might be overlooked in a medical or strictly adult setting, but it is entirely inappropriate here. Every child’s first significant memory should be joyful, not traumatic. How many other families will endure this before you recognize the lasting impact of your actions?

Professional, informative, friendly!I visited the piercing shop for a nose piercing. Everyone was very friendly and they were careful to provide as much information as possible to be fully transparent.I also got a bit lightheaded after the piercing and they took good care of me until it was back to normal.

Leo designed my tattoo. He was very good at following my requests about the design. I love how it turned out!

I did quite a bit of research on tattoo shops in the Louisville/Lafayette/Boulder area, and I am so glad I settled on Inksmith. I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted, but I knew I needed a professional to help me bring it to life. I was very lucky that I got to work with Danny on that. He was very patient with me through two separate consultation sessions to refine the design. When it came time to actually get the tattoo done, he was really great and helped put me at ease. I especially appreciated his understanding that the best way for me to deal with the pain was to talk and distract myself from it. Based on my previous experiences getting a tattoo done, this is rare. And that good-natured attitude extended to all staff members I interacted with. Throughout the whole process, they were friendly and great at helping make it all happen. And of course, I absolutely love my tattoo and appreciate Dannys incredible work.

Ive been going in for years to see Danny now and not once has anyone in the store been anything short of spectacular. Theyre fun, knowledgeable, and everyone works together so well in creating such a fun and inviting environment. Danny is professional and wicked creative, not to mention fast and efficient.12/10 would and do recommend for anyone needing a tattoo or piercing. If youre looking for a sign from the universe to try them out, this is it. Go get that tat, Becky

This place is great! Jared did an excellent job making my vision a reality. He had great communication with me through the process and has a good light hand. Compared to some previous tattoos i got elsewhere, a light hand was a welcome feel. Round 2 coming up soon!

My wife and I have had a many pieces done here by Kevin, Danny, and Ivanna. The are all incredible artists and just the best. Ive also been pierced by Denice and Jaycie and they are smooth and have a great eye for placement. The shop is great equal parts cool and sanitary with fantastic art work. The wonderful humans that work at the shop are very nice and wickedly cool. Definitely will be coming here for a while. 10/10 would get repeatedly stabbed in my skin here again.

I had gotten a tree tattoo on my stomach 10 years ago from Kevin Powers, see image when I was pregnant. I ended up finding him after he bought his own shop and so thankful I did!!I had a vision to extend the tree up my back and down my leg. This tattoo means the world to me and keeps me going strong in sobriety. He did everything the exact way I wanted and then some...adding his Kevin aspects in. He truly made this into a masterpiece and I highly trust him to do anything and everything creating your vision.I also noticed during the 7 sessions I was there how PROFESSIONAL THE SHOP IS IN GENERAL! They dont mess around, they are super clean, get things done in a timely manner, respectful and - all in all wonderful staff. Denise did a great job! She pierced both of my daughters’ ears. They are 5 & 6. She made them feel safe and calm during the process! I have recommended her several times to friends!Kevin did my first tattoo so far! He was amazing and did exactly what I wanted! I absolutely love my tattoo! I will only go back to him for my next one! Highly recommend!!

So, I am far too old to be getting my first tattoo (late 60’s) but had seen a design a few years ago that had captured my imagination. The family had used Inksmith several times before and my daughter had taken up a collection for my first tat, so I thought ‘Go for it’. I was not disappointed. Danny Argote is a first class artist, specializing in photo-realism, plus an awesome person. The results speak for themselves. I can totally recommend his work - now, what will the next one be?

I LOVE this place!!!! The shops are both beautifully decorated and the experiences I’ve had with Denice, Ivanna, and Vanessa were amazing. Ivanna tattooed matching butterflies for me and my bestie and they are, to this day, my favourite tattoo. She was super super friendly and I’m DYING to get more from her! Denice pierced my sister’s septum and she was wonderful and informative. Vanessa pierced my snakebites and calmed me down and made me feel safe. I’ve had not-so-great experiences with my past piercings and she made me feel safe and it went super well. 20/10!!! Can’t wait to book my next appointment!!

I have been looking for a specific piece of jewelry for an existing piercing for some time, and every shop I called said they needed to special order it. I was near this one for work and decided to just try it out. I was hoping to get the piece by Friday. I met Denice, and she went above and beyond to get me the piece within 24 hours by making a special run herself. Talk about customer service! Both front desk people were incredibly friendly too. I am looking forward to scheduling a new piercing for myself and my sweetie in the near future. The shop was clean, high integrity, with amazing art on the walls - plus free coffee! Very impressed by the high caliper of customer service. Thank you Denice!

I unfortunately did not have a great experience at this shop. I called hours ahead of time to make an appointment for a jewelry change on my nostril piercing. I was on time and still waited 45 minutes as I watched people who had appointments after me be helped. So after I kindly asked the receptionist when I was going to be pulled back, the piercer then walked over to me (while she was helping someone out), without even saying hi or introducing herself, and told me she didn’t even see that I was here and then brought me back quickly. Did not ask any questions on how long I had it pierced for, where I got it done, the material of the jewelry I had, etc. She started tugging at my piercing without even explaining what was going on to the point where I vocalized it was hurting a bit and all she said was, “well I have to dig in there if you want me to get it out”. Once she removed the old piercing, she then proceeded to tell me that the hole has closed without even ATTEMPTING to try and put the new piercing in (I brought this piece of jewelry from my old shop, and I verified that this would be ok on the phone). I was on the table for maybe 4 minutes until I was sent out. I got home and was able to put it in myself with just one push. When you receive a service that involves any sort of manipulation of body parts, the person performing the service should have a decent bedside manner and explain to their client what they’re doing as they do it to make their client comfortable… I work in healthcare and that is such a staple and it should be no different in this industry. Such a rushed, unwelcoming, and unprofessional experience.EDIT: the owner Denise reached out and apologized for the experience which was greatly appreciated

This place was recommended to me to get a piercing. I saw Vanessa, who is a friend of a friend of mine, and wow, was she amazing! She took her time with me, and the piercing turned out perfect. The shop has a nice aesthetic and has great staff. From the tattoo side of things, I cant say much, but its a great vibe and a lot of jewelry options. I recommend this place, hands down..

I went here to get a piece done that I have wanted for a long time. Kevin is a master of his craft, a great artist and a true professional. The shop is super clean with a great vibe and amazing people. every employee that I met over my three sessions was outstandingly warm, real and friendly; it was like hanging out with family. As I sat in the chair I watched as the lead piercer, Denice saw client after client of ages young and well, not so young. I watched and listened as she welcomed people over to her station and guided customers through the intricacies of proper care and maintenance of their piercings. She made every one of her clients super comfortable but at the same time was stern and real with her instructions; like a mom teaching her kids how to do thing the right way. The whole staff at Inksmith deserves a round of applause and one hell of a thank you from this old Mop Jockey. I will only be recommending Inksmith Tattoo and piercing to everyone I know.

I got my cartilage pierced at this place with my other two friends and we absolutely love it! Our piercer Vanessa was absolutely amazing, she was so sweet and funny and made the experience 100x better. We loved it there and will be coming back for more!

Highly recommend this shop, the cleanest most friendly piercing studio I’ve ever been in. Jaycie pierced my septum and I didn’t feel anything, she customized my jewelry to a beautiful color and changed out some of my old jewelry to match! I will be back, thank you ladies for being awesome!

I recently got a tattoo done at Inksmith by Leo, and he did a phenomenal job. I was very happy to have gotten an appointment the same day let alone have the tattoo done in a fair time frame and at a reasonable price. Leo had not only thoughtfully planned out where and how to line up the tattoo but made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I would be happy to visit inksmith again in the future, and the establishment deserves fives stars for their work.

Love how they do ear piercings for smaller kids! My 11 year old is a bit needle skittish but really, really wanted piercings. With the Little Lobes service, both ears get pierced at once, making it so much easier for her to hold it together. Jaycee and Bianca made her feel super comfortable and were so sweet and caring. Jaycee pierced my older daughters ears as well and was phenomenal with her too. And the piercings were super clean, no sign of infection or swelling at all after 10 days.

Denice pierced my 9 year old’s ears and she has never been able to sit for a flu shot or immunizations without being held down. Denice was so calming, thorough, and professional. My daughter had a great experience!

Inksmith was suggested to me by a close friend for a tattoo, and she specifically recommended Kevin. I went in for my consultation with half an idea of what I was looking for, and what he designed is phenomenal. With just that 10 minute consultation he created a piece of art that I am so honored to wear, pulling in all the feelings and ideas I didnt know how to articulate let alone incorporate into the design. I was blown away. Thank you Kevin!The other staff and artists in the shop are also awesome - I spent my four hours in the chair talking about everything from travel, to opera, to life....you name it. I felt welcome, and would spend the day with this crew any time.P.S. Inksmith strictly adheres to the COVID protocols, and they made the process super easy. Just follow their email, text, and voicemail with the guidelines and you will be just fine :) Anyone who wrote otherwise in a review was looking - and looking hard - for something to complain about.

Brought my 6-year-old in for a piercing after lots and lots of pleading. Denice was wonderful. So professional, patient and gentle. She was very understanding of my daughter’s nerves and never pressured her or rushed us. Can’t wait to bring my youngest in when she decides she’s ready!

Made appointments for my daughter to get her first ear piercings, and got my ears repierced since mine grew over from childhood.I HIGHLY recommend this place for piercings!They made my kid feel super duper comfortable. They were firm but respectful with her when she kept insisting that she should see the piercing needle before they began. They’re experienced and knew that it would be game over if she saw before they began. Getting both ears done in unison was perfect! Vanessa and Mags were incredible!!!!And for me as a grown up, they were awesome as well. I love my new earrings. When I got mine pierced as a kid, it was at a Claire’s, and my ears hurt instantly for days! Not this time!!!! My ears only twinged for a few minutes and have been pain free since. I actually keep forgetting they’re even pierced because it feels like nothing is there. Thank goodness for saline solution!

I got both ears pierced at the same time. It was so fun because they were fun, and patient, and quick. Vanessa was so fun, she explained me to every step before touching me. Upon walking in I was greeted with 5 star customer service by Kara, she made checking in easy and felt right at home and also made my 13 year old niece really comfortable as she was nervous for her first piercing ever. 2 incredible piercing experiences in a row!! I went for my kids but want to go back for myself. I love what they do and how they empower the kids to learn about their own piercing, give them autonomy over their own body, and how to care for their new piercing. They also make it very predictable so they know whats coming. So parents, avoid the piercing guns of our youth and give the kids a better shot at not having messed up ears when they get older! 🎉♥️

Luke is my main tattoo artist. He always does a fantastic job and is in tune with his customers wants and always checks in to make sure Im doing well while getting my tattoo. He designed a memorial tattoo for me and everyone comments on how awesome it looks. It is my favorite tattoo. His artistic abilities are unmatched and so detailed.

I asked for 2 piercings, (one re-piercing). I thought one of my piercings had closed and instead of just re-piercing it, Bianca told me that it was still open and she could just put jewelry in it. This was my first time going here and I will always be going back. Bianca was super kind, skilled, and accommodating throughout the process, and answered all of my questions, (regarding jewelry and possible future piercings.) I definitely recommend!!

They have a lot of options for any kinds of piercings you may need, from light studs to heavy dangling. I was really intimidated at first and have always avidly hated needles anywhere near me, but my artist, Bianca, helped me stay calm and get the piercing with minimal pain. They were very reassuring and always asked if I was okay with them continuing before they moved on to the next part. I highly recommend this place, and I highly recommend Bianca as your piercing artist! Not to mention that the receptionist was really sweet and nice to talk to! But I think I found my place to go for any piercings needed.

Inksmith is a beautiful, organized, and welcoming place. I brought my daughter here for a nostril piercing- they have very high standards for safety, responsibility and sterilization. I felt completely confident in the process. Bianca is an excellent piercer! She explained everything to us, and walked my daughter through each step as it was happening too, to reassure her. I had posted earlier about my daughters ears getting infected couple months after piercing . The manager reached out to me and was more than willing to help us get her ears fixed. She is very welcoming and friendly and has great ideas to help get us back on track!

Wow, what an experience!! I have been wanting to get my ears pierced for years and stumbled across Inksmith which clearly had the best reviews in the Boulder area. I called at 5pm and got a 6pm same day appointment. The piercing side of the shop is beautiful! The space is clean, modern, and super welcoming. The jewelry selection was also amazing and had everything you could ever want style was. My piercer was Denice Powers and WOW I could not have been happier with the experience. I am not kidding, I spent about an hour just picking jewelry and kept changing my mind AKA very difficult client. She was super patient and actually encouraged me to keep looking until I found the right pieces. They were very transparent on pricing and always made sure I knew what I would be paying every step of the way. The actual piercing process was quick and easy with Denice walking me through every step. The jewelry options they had were a bit limited in my opinion, and I know almost nothing about jewelry, but they did seem to be priced a bit high. Brought my twin 6 year olds to get their ears pierced. I didn’t expect a staff so great with kids. The studio is very clean and it was totally separate from the tattoo side. The piercers did a great job explaining everything but with kid friendly terms. They even brought my 3 year old in to talk to her about her ears so she wouldn’t feel left out. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I have been here for a tattoo and to buy some jewelry and they have been always been awesome!Today though they went above and beyond for me! I had made some poor jewelry choices and found myself needing their professional help!I called and Mags, who booked my apt, was great! She was able to get me in right away and was very nice and helpful! She booked me with Denice, and let me tell you, she was the best part of my day! Not only did she help me right away with fixing my conch jewelry, but she made me laugh while doing it and never once did she make me feel embarrassed for my poor choices. Denice is amazing and makes me feel like I’m just visiting a friend who happens to poke me with needles occasionally and gives the best lobe massages XD I went in yesterday to get some stretching done and she was just lovely I don’t have enough good things to say! She was also training and I feel lucky I came in when I did so I got a little extra knowledge about how my own body mods “work”, if you will. Her confidence is obvious but she is far from arrogant, which I believe makes the perfect piercing artist. Such a baddie who knows her way around anatomy and jewelry in a professional and fun way! I was giggling between catching a couple Z’s in the chair. Truly a gem in this sometimes dull dark world. She’s so attentive and pays attention to detail and checked in on me multiple times during the process while making sure her trainee knew exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it. Just got my doubles pierced and Vanessa was such a great energy. Very communicative about the process and each step. My past piercings never hurt but I’m still such a baby and it went so smooth and quick. I had my nipples pierced for over 4 years and unfortunately had to take them out and they closed up almost immediately. I’ve been wanting to get them redone for over a year, but was terrified because the pain was so bad the first time. I went to Inksmith with my cousin to get her piercing changed. We met Vanessa! Two of my daughters ( 16,11) have had their earlobes pierced by Denice. She is awesome! The piercing process is super hygienic (gloves, face mask worn by all, everything wiped down) , very professional and informative. Denice spoke directly to my daughters and made sure they were happy with each decision that was made.One of my daughters started having some problems with lobe swelling about a month into the healing process. I contacted Denice and she had us in the same day to help relieve the problem. I love that! A simple change of earring style and my daughters ears are looking great with no more swelling!Amazing compassion and customer service for their clients. Highly recommend this business.

I just got my tragus pierced yesterday (12.13.22) and Im really glad I went with this place!! Booking my appointment was easy and they got me in the next day! I had a great experience with Jaycie Lee! She was very knowledgeable and made me and my friend feel comfortable! She had an apprentice watching and it was great because I was able to hear what she was doing! She also explained to me why she was doing what she did every step! Which made me feel at ease! She also made sure I liked exactly where the piercing was going to go!The total for my Piercing was around $120 - that included the Piercing, jewelry, saline solution for cleaning and ofcourse a tip!! It was well worth it!! You get what you pay for and I believe I got my moneys worth! I highly recommend this place!!

I recently had my eyebrow and upper earlobe pierced by Vanessa. The eyebrow is great and is healing nicely. However, the upper lobe piercing had too small of a stud for my ear and in swelling started to embed in my ear, causing extreme irritation. I had stabbing pain for 4 days in which the swelling got worse even with ice, ibuprofen, and consistent cleaning. My entire ear was puffy and turning dark purple.I went to another studio to have the piece removed and it took the piercer 45 minutes to dislodge the piece from inside the swelling. It was extremely painful and almost had to go to a Dr. To have it removed. I was also told that it had been put in at an angle.Although the Inksmith studio appeared professional and skilled on the outside when I went in and checked reviews, this was an easily avoidable situation.Vanessa was really nice but I’m disappointed that in the end I couldn’t trust her expertise.

I got pierced by Jaycie who was super nice and really funny she made me feel comfortable the whole time. The whole place is cool from the second you walk in to seeing an open layout of the tattoo chairs is just awesome. The piercing wasnt that bad and neither was the jewelry in fact she was able to custom make the jewelry for my belly button piercing! I came to Inksmith for my first ever tattoo after doing a lot of research and landing on a design that meant a lot to me (my daughters birthday) I emailed back and forth with Chalanda which included sending a preview of my design, and was happy to get an appointment on a Friday when she let me know Thursday they had availability.Being that I was completely new to tattoos, I was nervous but was amazed at how comfortable and welcoming the shop was. Well lit, incredibly clean, music playing but not blaring, just really nice all around.After I checked in with Chalanda and filled out my waiver, Luke came over and showed me a mock up hed created based on my design and asked for my feedback on size, boldness, etc. He then printed me a few different sizes and we landed on one.Since my tattoo was a date in Roman Numerals, Luke made sure about 5 times he had the numbers right which was very reassuring. The inking process took about 20 minutes, and look made sure I was comfortable the whole time.My tattoo looks amazing and I was so happy to visit a shop that made me feel comfortable and relaxed - if I decide to get another one, Ill be calling Inksmith again!

Denice helped me get great results with my lip piercing and nostril piercing! I have had bad experiences (at other shops) with my other attempts at having a lip piercing, but she helped me get the result I wanted. She took her time with marking to make sure I would have a better outcome this time around. I have been to this shop several times and will never go anywhere else. Kaitlyn did my last tattoo and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. It is perfect! She touched up another and made it look better than it did originally! I also brought my kids here when they wanted nose piercings. Denise was amazing. When we had a mishap with my sons (his fault) Denise was exceptionally accommodating to see us and get it taken care of, and her follow up care is impeccable. The shop is clean, welcoming, and comfortable.

I got both a tattoo & piercing from this place & my gf (at the same apt) got an eyebrow piercing.in my experience, this place is a little overpriced. i got my bellybutton pierced (i am on the thicker side, so my belly folds) & i was given too small of a bar so my piercing began to sink into my skin (basically gauging the fresh piercing) & was very painful. i went in to have it fixed, my original piercer didnt show up (she told us to come in on that day) so someone else did it. they charged me (with a small discount) for new jewelry and basically told me it was my fault bc my posture was bad. i had to be completely board straight for my initial jewelry to not cut into me. i havent had a single issue with my new bar & my posture did NOT change. on the other hand, they gave my gfs eyebrow a very large bar & she had no issues with swelling.i also got a tattoo and while i love it, it was definitely more expensive than i was expecting. i didnt realize this until i saw my coworkers tattoos. they were substantially larger than mine (also a more intricate line tattoo) done by a professional in a studio, and she had never paid as much as i did for ANY of her 15+ tattoos (all the same size or much bigger than mine) disclaimer, artists deserve the right to set their own prices based on what they believe the art is worth but the estimate vs the actual cost were substantially different despite me sending a very detailed & helpful guide showing the tattoo i wanted (already edited to how i wanted it so all they had to do was print & place the stencil), where on the body, how big, what colors, etc (with picture examples!). i dont understand what changed the price so much, but i felt a little blindsided & havent gotten a tattoo since bc it gave me the perspective they were all extremely expensive.pics: right after my belly button was pierced, showing original jewelry that ended up sinking in. / the tattoo i got. its about 4-5inx4in at its longest parts & was 300$ after tip.that being said, everyone i spoke to (besides the person who told me my piercing issue was my fault💀) were incredibly kind & respectful. the shop is very clean and has a good vibe. i am genuinely disappointed i had the experience i did bc the shop is great in all other aspects but i dont think i will be back anytime soon as i cant afford to pay for the professionals mistakes or expensive tattoos. if you are someone who isnt so worried about money, your experience may be better than mine.

Had conch and forward helix done. Super clean, professional, great selection of jewelry, just an overall great experience. Vanessa was my piercer and she was great, so friendly and did an awesome job with the piercings. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Ive been here before for a small walk in tattoo and everyone is always super friendly and personable. Its a great environment. Denice is wonderful with kiddos. She does an awesome job and my daughter had a wonderful experience getting her ears pierced by her.

We had a great experience here piercing my daughters ears. My 8 yr. old has been wearing stick on earrings for weeks, yet was very nervous about actually getting them pierced. She is also shy, but Denise talked to her and asked her questions and made the whole thing less scary. Mari said it hurt less than she thought it would and is in love with the little star earrings she chose. I also liked how clear and comprehensive the after care instructions were.

The best piercing experience I have ever had! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Everyone was so friendly, the place was clean, and I would trust Vanessa with my life. Genuinely thank you, this is my new favorite tattoo and piercing shop.

Denice is the piercer/one of the owners, and knows what the f she’s doing! I have a bleeding disorder and have been turned down from some places in the past, but we discussed what was going down before the actual piercing and she took me right in.She pierced my septum yesterday, and I’m not in pain. This was much less painful than my ears (which were NOT done by Denice), and I even got a sweet gold ring for a great price. We even briefly discussed the possibility of some repairs, where Denice was super honest about what she was comfortable with doing.The shop was super busy, but that’s an awesome sign for a tattoo/piercing spot. Denice’s honesty was another great sign. I will 150% be back (hopefully soon), for both another piercing and some artwork. Can’t wait!

My 10 year old had her ears pierced here by Denise. Denise was so great at making my daughter feel comfortable and less nervous. She talked directly to her and answered all of her questions. They provide you with a cleaning kit after and give good instructions for care. Highly recommend!!

My friend and I had a great piercing experience at Inksmith. The environment was very friendly and welcoming, and they had tons of very pretty jewelry options. Vanessa was also amazing! I will definitely be returning next time I want a piercing.

My and my friend went to go get our bellybuttons pierced. Our piercer was Vanessa, she did an amazing job of making me and my friend feel comfortable and safe. She was very professional and the whole experience was really fun and fast!

Okay this is going to be long so TLDR: another shop did me wrong with an industrial and Inksmith fixed it. All the staff was professional and kind. Jaycie was gentle, educated, and I had a great experience.I went to this shop after getting an industrial piercing elsewhere that pierced me with jewelry that was way too big. I was hoping to downsize and they were able to get me in quickly. When I made the appointment they were helpful and very nice from the get go and the good experience continued all the way through! As far as COVID everything was very clean and they took good precautions.Jaycie was able to answer my questions and was extremely gentle. I still have some swelling and soreness and I didnt feel her change the jewelry.. like at all. This was a welcome change as the original piercing was pretty painful with no numbing gel. They were able to get me a proper sized bar, confirmed the correct size (she caught that the original shop I went to told me the incorrect gauge too) and I was able to get jewelry I actually liked. It looks way better now and making those changes really made me love my piercing.I see that a couple people mentioned that jewelry is expensive. In my opinion this is indicative of quality jewelry and thats what I found here. It is titanium as and has internal threads (another fault of the original shop, they used externally threaded). The ends are very pretty and look almost like opals. While I agree that is pricey, it is partially the nature of the jewelry and I dont think thats something the shop should be faulted for.Finally, to end my novel I just want to reiterate how professional I felt everyone I interacted with was. As someone with anxiety, feeling comfortable is huge and I wasnt uncomfortable at any point. Jaycie was able to educate me and corrected something I said that was wrong in a way that wasnt rude at all. I plan to come back for one more downsize once healing progresses more and hope to get future piercings done here, thank you for a great experience!The picture with all silver jewelry was right after the original piercing with large jewelry (that looked even larger once the swelling went down) from the different shop. The other picture is the new jewelry from Inksmith that fits and looks much better.

Jared at Inksmith was amazing. He took a lot of extra time making sure my custom tattoo was exactly how I wanted it to look and that it was in the perfect location. He never made me feel rushed and was very thoughtful. It turned out perfectly. I highly recommend Inksmith!

Went with 3 of my friends today for a total of 3 ear piercings + a nose piercing! Literally the nicest tattoo/piercing place Ive ever been in - we were all really happy with the experience. Jaycie pierced my nose and it was so quick and painless, I legitimately didnt think shed done it yet after she already had. First words out of my mouth were youre a wizard. Apparently I am not the first person to come to such a conclusion, and I cant imagine Ill be the last. Thanks again - well be back! :)

Who doesnt remember their first time getting their first piercing? The excitement and the nerves- remembering who was there and where you were at and how old you were.I cant say enough how fortunate we are that Inksmith Tattoo and Piercing offered the perfect Little Lobes experience for my girls first ear piercing. Having a professional like Denise with experience and calmness for my girls was incredible.She was informative and empowered my girls (ages 6 and 8) to act as mature kids by allowing them the opportunity to listen with call for attention and responsibility for getting their ears pierced and taking care of them afterwards. Inksmith is the class act above most other ear piercing experiences (forego the piercing gun, parents)!

Inksmith is the best, I’ve been coming here for all my piercings since I was 18, and every time the experience is positive, and leaves me with no hesitation to come back. All of my piercings have healed really well, and Denise, who typically does my piercings, is so knowledgeable and amazing. I would highly recommend!

Denice is amazing! I was really nervous when I first went in to get my nostril piercing but she walked me through everything and was very gentle. I went in a few months later to make sure it was healing well (as per her request.... make sure to listen to this in case you’re not healing well. She WILL help!). A few months after that I had a special request for a nose ring so I wrote her an email describing it and she knew exactly what I wanted. She is great at answering emails and so very helpful. She put the order in and I went to get it today and it is PERFECT! (A bit pricey but totally worth it. You’re getting quality jewelry that’s sized just right). Thank you Denice! Kevin did an absolutely amazing job and Ive gotten so many compliments. Not only did he add to my arm, but he corrected and covered some ink bleeding that I had from a pre-existing tattoo, as well. He made my tattoo look like I had always wanted. He was super fast and let my mom and I chat and entertain ourselves while he worked. Ill definitely be back for some more original work from him.

I’ve seen Denice for several piercings. She has always been on time and professional. The shop is clean Denice is knowledgeable about piercing care. I also took my 2yr old daughter to get her ears done and it went great.

I got a ships wheel with a detailed sail boat and wave in the middle with a compass rose within the wheel tattoo done by Kevin. He made me comfortable (this was my first tattoo experience). The quality was so much more than I could have imagined and Kevin knew exactly how to approach the wording and colors in the way I wanted. Had such a good experience and Kevin clearly knows what he’s doing. Will definitely be going back.

Took my 8yo to get her ear lobes pierced with Denise. The whole place is taking COVID precautions seriously. The shop is super clean, staff is friendly, and Denise was awesome with my kiddo, explaining the process and aftercare clearly and answering all my daughters questions. I walked in to buy a new earring but Vanessa worked a miracle on my tragus piercing, which was in really bad shape after I had put in an earring that was too short. She was so nice and gentle, Ill be forever grateful! Definitely recommend.

Best piercing experience Ive ever had. Went in to get an industrial piercing in my right ear. Denice was wonderful. She took the time to explain everything, did a great job finding the perfect angle/position to fit my ear, and listened to my input. She even went back and changed out the balls at the ends of my bar after the piercing because I thought they looked too large. The piercing process itself was clean and quick. Pricing was competitive with every other place I talked to with industrial piercing starting around $50. Once my healing is closer to finished, Denice offered to order the parts and build me whatever earring I want to go in this piercing. I would recommend her to any of my friends and anyone reading this review. Denice is amazing!

Denise and her tandem piercing partner were great with my daughter. They were clean, explained things to a 3 years old well, and they were quick. Overall I am satisfied with the choice I made. I was in and out in 10 minutes. No tears from my daughter. Couldnt be happier.

I came here for my 6th tattoo and a touch up of another and my son came with for his first tattoo. Kevin was so amazing with my son who Im sure was more nervous than he let on. His design was done perfectly and looks better every day. The color is vibrant, the lines are well defined and the price was great.I was very happy with the vibe there. It wasnt a tattoo parlor that made me feel that I wasnt hard core enough to be there. Everyone was so friendly and nice!! My tattoo touch up on the top of my foot looks brand new again! The new tattoo I got looks great! I may go back to have a couple of flowers added and a bit more lining on the smaller buds (I got a cherry blossom branch on my ribs) I have no doubt that when I do, it will be fantastic. At first I was worried because the color shade was so close to my skin tone but as it healed, the detail is amazing and the colors look perfectly girly and accomplished exactly what I wanted! When I get my additional branches, Ill 100% be returning because I know Kevin will do a stellar job again!

Wow. The moment you walk in you’re welcomed by Amy with such an inviting personality. I had Danny as my artist and he did an amazing job. He listened to exactly what I wanted and didn’t try to push any other ideas. He was open to suggestions and really listened to what I wanted. Such a clean place and I saw them clean everything constantly. Such a good feeling during these times! I’ll be back and I can’t wait to recommend them to others!
