I don’t usually write reviews unless I have good things to say so here it is.If you want to get professionally pierced in a beautiful and calm environment, Bevel Piercing is the place to go.The shop is modern, super clean, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We were greeted warmly and they took the time to help my family member pick out jewelry.Nate, the piercer, always does an excellent job of explaining things and ensuring each of the clients are comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. Nate’s warmth and friendliness puts you immediately at ease!Consent is very much valued in the space, and I truly appreciate that. Nate understands and respects that this work can be vulnerable for a lot of people.Very fast, efficient, but also has exacting standards. The station was immaculately clean.I cannot say enough good things about Nate and the shop! I highly recommend them.Amazing selection of jewelry and good prices as well!Nate, I can’t thank you enough for helping my family member be more comfortable during the process! You’re the literal best!

Nate was amazing! First piercing visit for one of our kids and it was a breeze. The staff talk through everything, ask you several times if there are any questions, and really make the whole appointment a comfortable experience.Their waiting area and appointment spaces are comfortable too.Definitely recommend Bevel. 💜

Cole pierced my 11 year old’s earlobes and was SO wonderful! He was calm and friendly, explaining every step of the process and made my son feel so at ease. VERY impressed with all the staff we worked with, and would definitely recommend this studio to anyone in the twin cities wanting piercing work!

Bevel is amazing, everyone is so nice, helpful and amazing to work with, very knowledgeable staff, and the owner is amazing! I’ve followed him wherever he’s gone since 2014 that’s how good he is. My teenage daughter had 2nd lobe piercings done at Bevel this afternoon. The staff is incredibly friendly, prices are very reasonable, and the studio is very clean. Nate was friendly, chill but efficient, and was so conscious of making sure my daughter was aware and consenting to each step of the process. She loves her new piercings and we feel very confident that we made the right choice in going to Bevel.

4 of us got piercings today….3 adults and my teen daughter. It was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. The people at the front desk were so easy to work with, helping us pick out jewelry, teaching us about the different studs and changing lengths, etc. Our piercer was Kelsie. She was so calm and relaxing. She answered our questions and helped calm the nerves of those in our group that had them! Will definitely go back to get another piercing.

We took my 9 year old son to get his ear pierced and everyone we interacted with were pure professionals. My son was nervous and both Nate and Hailey took time to make him feel comfortable. Kelsie explained each step of the process to my son, which helped immensely. He loves his piercing and is thrilled he did it. Seriously, such an amazing team! If you’re looking to get a piercing, there is no better place.

The only place Ill get pierced! I drive three hours one way to get pierced here. Seriously. Ive had 4 piercings in various locations on my ears done by Nate over the years and have had zero issues with any of them. Nate is a master of his craft and has a great personality that puts you at ease. Super-collaborative about placement, informative about aftercare, and easy to communicate with the shop via socials if you have any questions before or after your appointment. Whether you want something simple or funky, they have a great jewelry selection and will help you pick the perfect earring, too!

Got my daith piercing here and loved the experience! The shop is beautiful and clean, has private rooms for piercings, and a large selection of jewelry in different price ranges. Nate did a wonderful job and was super kind and friendly and left me with a painless piercing! Definitely recommend.

The staff are wonderful & prices are fair!My only issue is remembering to bring the same proofs of identification (ID, BC & parent ID) for my daughter each time we go.The first time, her God Mother took her for her 16th birthday. I had to use my lunch break to take the identifications in.The second time we went to change the jewelry. I was not advised that we would need the ids again. Thank goodness, someone was home and able to send photos.The third time (had to order jewelry during 2nd visit) we had all ids for another purpose, happened to stop by Bevel for jewelry change, and left info in car. Had to go back to car, 3 blocks away to grab.I dont understand why you would need the same info, instead of storing it digitally, for customers convenience.Again, the staff are wonderful. The process is painful.

Excellent experience!!! First off, I scheduled the appt wrong and they were so accommodating. Kelsie was the piercer that we saw. She was amazing with my daughter who was very nervous! Professional, clean, and fun! Would go back again!

Kelsie is SO AMAZING!!! I got both nipples pierced on different days and she made the experience so much fun. I was terrified of how bad it would hurt, but she talked me through everything and gave me so many supporting comments during the piercing. I have so much anxiety, but she made me feel so safe while doing it. 10/10 piercer, I highly recommend booking with her, especially if you’re nervous!

Kelsie was fabulous!! I wanted to get my nose pierced for the 2nd time, as I had to take it out to due to my cancer! Bevel was the cleanest place I have ever been too for piercings, tattoos, and any body type of modification / salons.I needed a legit piece of jewelry so that I wouldn’t get infected. It was 50$ for the piercing and then 95$ for the jewelry which was a ln 18k rose gold stud (that was super small). Another amazing selling point (it is long enough to incorporate swelling but I wanted a dainty stud until I can switch to the hoop.)The piercing and jewelry and clean up on my nose literally lasted about 3 minutes! It went so smooth! I will recommend others here as well!

If you want the best piercing experience possible, go to Bevel. I followed Cole from a previous location because his personality and skill were so amazing. I’ve gotta 2 more piercings from him since they opened Bevel. My last experience was unmatched. Not only is it beautiful inside, so are the people. The staff is so welcoming and kind. This is my go to place for piercings. Aesthetically the shop is very clean, elegant, and comfortable. The jewelry is high quality and there are some very cool, unique options. The shop is owned and run by piercers themselves who have been a part of the Minneapolis piercing community for years and it really shows up in the culture of the shop and piercing experience!The piercers and shop staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. I could write a book about how awesome Nate is. I got my first piercing from him 7 years ago and he has never disappointed. Nate really knows how to create a safe and comfortable environment regardless of what service is being provided. The piercers take great care with making sure you are satisfied with your piercing/service and ensuring jewelry fits correctly. The customer service here is truly above and beyond.This is always the first place I recommend to anybody who asks me about piercing shops!!! 12/10 would recommend.

I walked in there today just to look at the jewelry selection and fell in love with quite a few. I got Nate as my piercer and he was phenomenal! If I continue to work in Minneapolis for awhile longer, Ill definitely be back! The studio was clean, they take sanitizing and sterilization very serious.Overall, from the time I walked in to browse till after my piercing, the staff made me feel like they were people I have known for years and made the experience amazing! Awesome locally owned piercing shop. I followed Nate around the cities for all of my ear piercings and Im so glad hes landed at owning a shop. Extremely professional and care about satisfaction of each person, and not just about giving you a piercing to make some money. Nate gives honest advice and listens to you, so that you can be satisfied and feel confident that you got the right piercing and that it will heal well. I now live out of state and will always think about waiting to book appointments for when I come back to town. Highly recommend.

Fabulous experience at this shop! It starts the minute you walk in, where you are greeted with a friendly welcome, a beautiful clean space, and a comfortable vibe. I stopped in just to check out the jewelry and talk about some style questions. I chatted with a couple of the shop staff and they were super helpful, going over some ideas and options, and I booked a consult and piercing. At that appointment, we talked through the look I wanted and what jewelry and piercing placement would work best. For the actual piercings, Nate explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Theyve got some gorgeous jewelry pieces too. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Justin pierced my step 17 yr old daughter’s nose; it was her first non ear piercing and he talked her through all the steps so there was no mystery. All team members that assisted me were fantastic and very knowledgeable! Nathan performed a quick jewelry change for me that I was not confident I could do on my own. My partner and I both had new helix piercings done by Nate, and we had a great experience! The shop is clean and calm, the piercings were done in a private room, and Nate guided us through the whole process, including helping us pick our jewelry. This shop is awesome, instantly felt welcomed by staff. My sister and I went in to get some additional ear piercings and had a wonderful experience. We did not feel rushed at any point, whether filling out the forms or choosing jewelry. We both saw Nate. We cant imagine going to someone else, each of us has seen him at previous jobs. Im a wimp when it comes to pain, but he makes it as quick and easy as he possibly can, and I cant recommend him this shop highly enough.

Walked in for the first time seeking a solution to taking out my metal jewelry for a medical procedure the next day. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and they got me set up with a glass retainer for my nostril piercing right then for about $25. So grateful.

Went to get my ears re-pierced. Turns out my piercings had just shrunk a lot instead of closing up completely. The boss stuck in some new earrings I bought, and I left having to pay $100 less than I thought I would (some of which went towards a good tip).

Their website also has parking instructions (there is a small parking lot behind the building that I was able to park in, so not paying for parking was a plus)! Staff was so kind and the space was modern and welcoming. The private piercing rooms are cleanly and beautifully designed. Justin was calm, professional, and created a safe environment. I hadn’t been pierced in almost 10 years and he walked me through the process. The piercing itself was so quick and easy; it was evident that Justin was confident and knew exactly what he was doing. Such a pleasant experience; I will definitely be recommending Bevel and Justin to all my friends :)

Wow! I had such a great experience at Bevel! Easy parking instructions on the website, scheduled an appointment online the day of, and walked into a beautiful store with modern design, friendly staff, and some cool plants. The folks at the front desk were super helpful in showing me the different types of high quality body jewelry I could choose from and patient with me as I made decisions.Cole, pierced my lip and nipple and was super professional, informative, and talked me through the process from start to finish. It was quick, easy, and a lovely experience. They look great and are healing fine.Going above and beyond, later that night I fell and hurt myself and had to go to the doctor who wanted an MRI. I called Bevel staff and they explained all the options I had (maintain, remove, or retain) and it turned out that I didn’t even have to take them out for the procedure. That said, I appreciate that the Bevel staff were attentive and helpful should I had needed it. If you’re considering Bevel, just do it!

Our 6 year old daughter wanted her ears pierced so badly. Upon arrival she just wasn’t ready. Justin was calm and kind- He didn’t pressure her to do it when she wasn’t ready. The earring selection was incredible- Unique, special and high quality. We will be back when she is ready.

Got a double conch last week on a whim and decided on here as they had open availability. Justin did them for me; the whole time I got very open communication so I always knew what was happening next. The piercing itself was very clean and professional; Ive had very minimal post-swelling or bleeding. Each piercing cost $50, plus $35 for each piece of standard jewelry, a bit more expensive but you definitely get what you pay for! Very happy with the results and Ill be back when I decide to get another one.

My piercer was Kelsie Vick and she was fantastic! Very happy to help me with a second nose piercing on my same side, was extremely careful about placement so it would line up. The studio was neat and clean. I was treated very professionally here and Im super happy about my new piercing!

Ive got all of my piercings done by Nate, and everything has been perfect. My nostrils were pierced over a year apart and are perfectly symmetrical. I got my septum done here recently and the jewelry selection was really nice.Nate and Cole are both super friendly and great at what they do. I honestly wouldnt get a piercing anywhere else.

This was easily the most pleasant piercing experience Ive had. I got my septum pierced by Cole, who was extremely professional. He asked for permission before touching me, and explained step by step exactly what he was going to do before doing it. Ive been pierced many times by many people, but Ive never felt as at ease as I did at Bevel. Although the price is higher than you might generally expect, the quality of the service, atmosphere, and end product are more than worth the price. Ill be going back for sure.

Ive been following piercer Nate around Uptown for all my piercings for more than a decade and am happy to see him in his own beautiful studio. On top of being the best in the business, he is incredibly personable and kind and has a calming presence in what could otherwise be an anxiety-inducing situation. Gorgeous, clean shop with private piercing rooms, friendly and knowledgeable employees, and top notch customer service! I originally called just to see if they had glass retainers for my vertical labrets, and Haley not only enthusiastically confirmed, but then gave me all of the details and pricing info without me having to ask further, and told me everything I’d need to bring if I wanted to get the jewelry changed out. When I went in to purchase the jewelry, they offered to change my jewelry out for $10, which I agreed to, and after filling out the form, immediately got to see Nate (who did my vertical labrets 10 years ago!). It was great to catch up with him and and hang out for a bit. Bonus points for having preferred name and pronouns on the piercing/service forms!

Our experience with Bevel Piercing is by far one of the best customer service experiences my husband and I have ever had. My husband contacted Bevel about an evasive Pupil Hall piece as a surprise gift for me. Bevel did not have the piece on hand, but they ensured us that they could get the piece and that the piece would be delivered to to them along with additional Pupil Hall pieces that they were ordering for the shop.My husband (since I wasnt aware of the gift) not only was amazed by the speed at which the piece was delivered, but also that Cole and Jennifer (I believe thats her name) kept him abreast of the situation every step of the way.When the piece finally arrived, we both thought there was a bit of an issue with it. Cole was immediately sought to rectify the situation which turns out wasnt even an issue but rather a misunderstanding on our end. He was so kind and understanding and helpful.The amount of time that Cole and Jennifer spent on us and their investment, and responsiveness goes beyond expectations - particularly since I know that piercing shop profit most from the service of piercing rather than selling jewelry.The saddest part of the entire scenario is that we live on the east coast and likely will never be able to visit Bevel in person. For this reason, I implore anyone and everyone to go to Bevel on our behalf. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Oh I’m so happy with this shop, my 6 year old has been asking me for months to get their ears pierced and Justin was super communicative about consent yesterday at her appointment and told her she could change her mind anytime and then when she DID change her mind it was no big deal. So happy she got to have this experience and will totally go back to this shop anytime.

Nate and Cole are the sweetest yet most professional body mod artists I’ve came across!Nate helped me with my septum. I thought it needed to be re-pierced after 5+ yrs of not wearing jewelry in it.. turns out it just needed a little stretching to fit the jewelry back in. The ambiance is wonderful but I was hugely impressed by the general sanitation of the whole place. My piercer, Coke, was friendly and great at his job, and the two people working the front desk absolutely brightened my day. I’ll definitely be back.

Had 4 lobe piercings + a jewelry change with Cole. He was so helpful picking out matching jewelry. Talked me through the entire process so I felt completely comfortable. If you want a place where your piercers seriously know exactly what the f**k they are doing, definitely go to Bevel. I went with my friend who has been getting pierced by Nate for 7 years and she only goes to him now! Brand-new everything fit with a comfortable and knowledgeable atmosphere. Some may consider the jewelry expensive, but all their jewelry is high quality and precious metals. (not mass-produced) My standard jewelry was $60. I got my septum done today by Nate and he knows exactly how to place it according to your body! Normal pain youd expect from a piercing and now ≈6 hours later I have zero pain when not touching it. Will be returning for any future piercings!

Had a great experience today - as a walk in, and someone with no piercings, the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. Nate was my piercer, and if I lived in Minneapolis, I’d go back to him for all of my piercing needs! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Both times I’ve been in, everyone has been so nice and extremely helpful. I went in about a month ago because my conch piercing had just fallen out, and they got me in right away to put another piece of jewelry in. Vibes are immaculate & everyone is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend

They didnt have the part, but they were super helpful and friendly to educate me on what I needed so I could properly find it (or were willing to order it for me). Such a great place! I was in to have shorter post placed in nose piercing. Found a lovely flat backed post for ear cartilage piercing. So happy about the way everything looks.

Fantastic service. Upscale vibe compared to other piercing/tattoo shop. Little limited on selection of jewelry but what they do have is very nice.
