Had an amazing experience here with my 4 month old son. I chose this place to get my son’s ears pierced after a thorough research of which companies I should considered. I loved the whole idea of having a licensed nurse pierce my son’s ears and even having the safest jewelry options available for him. It may be on a little pricier side here but it’s all totally worth it mainly for the safety of my son. Heather was so accommodating and made sure my son felt completely comfortable before proceeding with piercing his ears. I would totally recommend friends and families to come here. We had a great experience at Rowan. We got our 4 year olds ears done. The nurse was very gentle and gave our kid enough time to process. Pricing turned out very nice and healing well. Including jewelry and services it was about 130 bucks for anyone curious about pricing....!!! Its been about a few weeks now and it has healed well.

Mary and Nurse Jenna were welcoming when we first entered the bright and clean store. We were a walk-in and they had squeezed us in, knowing it was just for one little girl piercing. Once going through the quick and easy online process, we had a great experience in the chair. After sanitizing, eyeing up the locations, it was over in no time! They were sweet, patient, and professional!

Staff was great and so kind! Unfortunately I was pierced with studs that ended up being too short for my anatomy and I needed to switch out for longer bars. They were very helpful with this process but I ended up having to pay even more for a mistake I did not make to make the switch to studs that would work with my anatomy in order to heal. Would probably not recommend or go back as the whole process became very expensive.Update: Rowan support did refund the cost for having to switch out the bars!

I happened to be at the MOA and walked into Rowan to check it out and ended up getting a piercing and a new earring for my helix piercing (they had a cancellation otherwise I would have had to make an appointment). It was very busy and well run!Jessie, a license LPN and full time piercer, was gentle, helpful, and professional. Rowan is extremely clean, they took all sanitation very seriously wiping everything down between customers. I’ll recommend them and be back. The quality of jewelry is that of a high quality shop and the prices are comparable.

We had such a great experience the first time that we came back again!

After a full year of trying to get my triples to heal I can officially say this place is an awful place to go for piercings. They advertise that they have nurses to pierce but they just used guns. If I had known I would’ve gotten them pierced in a dorm room with a needle like I did for my doubles and they healed in two months. Waste of so much money and I will be telling everyone that they should never ever ever go here. Very disappointed.

Our 7 yr old granddaughter got her ears pierced. We chose the hollow needle, and Jessie, the nurse, did a great job explaining and taking the time to get everything so so. No tears, big smile after, and we went off to build a bear. Grandson held his sisters hand for support, and I am very proud of both of them.

I’m horrible with names but the nurse there tonight did amazing with my daughter. She was so patient and encouraging. She made sure my daughter understood everything and was on her terms when she felt ready. Based on what I saw tonight, she’s definitely in the right field with nursing. Made one very nervous/scared girl calm down and eventually get her ears pierced.

Poor experience- understaffed- lack of concern when earring holes closed up from only a couple days of removal due to sleeping pain/puffiness even when we followed all the protocols. My two daughters had theirs done at Piercing Pagoda and had no issues of pain, swelling or infection. I’d recommend elsewhere than Rowan!

FANTASTIC experience at Rowan on 2/16/24!My daughter is almost 7 and has wanted her ears pierced for at least a year but has severe anxiety about pain. The nurses, Cynthia and Jess, and the person working the front (Katie? sorry I cant remember your name!) were INCREDIBLE! They were extremely patient, kind and nurturing as my daughter (as anticipated) started getting really anxious and nervous. They each had a great way of explaining the process to my daughter and gave her so many wonderful tips for how to calm down and work through the experience despite her fear. They also gave us so many different options to help her feel comfortable - i.e. two nurses to pierce at the same time, let my daughter watch 3 other girls get their ears pierced before her, let her try a chair that was behind a wall so she had some privacy, took it one step at a time (first just touching her ear, then positioning the hand device) while giving my daughter the time, space and autonomy to decide when the actual piercing happened. They probably prepared her ears 4 different times before the actual piercing but were so gracious about it every single time. Not once did I feel like we were pressured to do anything she (or I) didnt want to. We only felt supported and comforted through the entire thing. Ultimately, it ended up being an amazing bonding experience for my daughter and I think gave my daughter a sense of pride and empowerment that shell hold onto for a long time.I know ear piercing for most people is not a huge event or accomplishment, but it was a significant challenge for my daughter. The fact that she was given the space and support to make the decision for herself gave her confidence that she would never have gained without the support of the nurses and staff at Rowan. 5 stars is an understatement for how thankful and appreciative I am of the experience we had.And the cherry on top? Her ears are healing so well! We bought the spray that Rowan offers and it seems to be helping a LOT. You can also tell the earrings they use truly are great quality metals. I also LOVE that they had bell backs so theyre very comfortable for her. She said she forgot she had them until she looked in the mirror the next day! :DTHANK YOU ROWAN!!!!

I got a double cartilage piercing here about 1.5 years ago and Im coming back to write a review about it due to my most recent problem with them. The vibes there is great. The workers were pleasant and they had cute jewelry. Something I was not happy with was the process to get my piercing. The post care sheet of mine said I should be healed in 6 months or so and even after a year it would still hurt (so dont trust that sheet). I recently tired to change the earring after 1.5 years and I thought it was fully healed but it wasnt so it was bleeding and became super puffy. I also noticed that in some of my friends who got the piercing done, the angles of the piercings were very messed up which caused a lot of problems. I would only recommend coming back here to buy earrings but I would never get another piercing here because their hand-pressured device is basically what other stores like Claires uses.

We would have had an ENTIRELY different outcome if there had been two nurses working when we went — be sure to go at a busy time and make an appointment when they have more staff working 🤷‍♀️We went at a quiet time during the week to get our 4-year-old’s ears pierced but there was only one nurse working at the time… So after the first ear was pierced, our daughter refused to let her do the other ear. If they’d had two nurses working in order to do both ears at the same time (like people said they’d done for their kids!), we wouldn’t be having to decide how to navigate things now. She’s too scared to get the 2nd ear done but we’re out $$$ anyway (piercing, jewelry, wash solution that to help the pain/irritation).Edit to add: the email they sent to follow up was just a restatement of what was already mentioned here in the reply.Final edit: Our daughter thought she was brave enough to get the 2nd ear done the following week… We went and she wouldn’t allow them to do it, but the nurse was so wonderfully patient with our daughter. This time we went ahead and just took the first earring out and they ended up giving us a full refund, so for that we are grateful.
