Had my first 2 session for a sleeve on my left arm. Couldnt be happier with the full experience. Awesome space, and atmosphere. You really feel like the day is all about you. Ruuben is an amazing artist, with priceless experience. Beyond that, hes also a great person. Couldnt recommend this place more. Looking forward to my final 2 sessions 🤘🏻

I had my first experience with 5D Studios in May of 2023. I found them through Google, searching for a color realism tattoo. I reached out to Coled Tats via their website. From the very first email to the last picture of the final tattoo, her communication was amazing. She is super friendly, easy to talk to, has talent like I’ve never seen. She understood what I was looking for(after a few emails of me second guessing what I wanted 😉)and came up with a design like I had never seen before, it was absolutely stunning! She was very helpful with tips before, during and after the tattoo. When you walk into 5D the studio is an environment like no other, super clean, super chill, a place you don’t mind hanging at all day. We went over the drawing when I showed up, she made a few minor tweaks, now that she had seen my leg in person, to fit my body and then she started the tattoo. Again, super friendly, super chill, kind and courteous, perfect host for a great tattoo. Two sessions, to be expected, I was informed from the start. I received a fricken masterpiece on my leg. Absolutely stunning! Coled Tats is so talented 🤯 the pictures(tattoo) speaks for itself! So beautiful and badass at the same time! I get compliments almost daily. I recommend her to everyone. From start to finish an absolutely amazing experience! 💯 There’s not enough room for how many stars she deserves! The best! KP

I have had the immense pleasure of getting 2 pieces of art from 5d studios. Both from Nicole, and every SINGLE time they do an incredible job.Ive had one done from their design collection and one where they took my idea and ran with it. Both times they have gone above and beyond what I expected of an artist. I was able to fully trust and let them take the design in a direction they saw and be a canvas for art to be placed.Those two pieces, are two of my favorites of them all. They are beautifully done, with the heart of someone who wants to make beautiful art that we both love. and it shows. I cant wait to get more!!!!Ive been met with nothing but kindness from every other artist in the studio as well. Theres truly not another place like 5d in the cities. If you want quality professional work for art you want to keep on your body forever. GO HERE!!!!!!!

Too boogie. I hate that places make you wait 3 months just to even talk about a tattoo . Sme tats are random and spur-of-the-moment the moment . You dont need to pu5 a memory int each tat.Plus being the only Saint Louis Park tattoo shop is trash

The artwork that is created at 5D studio is some of the best in the business and is the best in Minnesota. The tattoos that are created here are so beautiful. If you don’t believe me, just check out their Instagram photos and you will be a believer. The artists use heavy black before they lay down the color to ensure that the art lasts a lifetime. I have been getting tatted for over 24 years and have never been to a tattoo shop where I have been treated so well. You truly feel like a VIP as soon as you step in the door. The shop is also decorated beautifully with amazing artwork, furniture and lighting. If you are in the market for a georgeous tattoo, this is the place.

I’ve had my back and arm done by Ruben and I get compliments on them daily. You won’t find work like Ruben’s anywhere else in the Midwest. I’ve been working with cole and Ruuben for a few years now and they’ve been amazing. I’ve been able to watch cole grow into an amazing tattoo artist as well as she works under ruuben. Both wonderful people to get tattoos from and a pleasure to work with.

My friend and I randomly decided to get a new tattoo. We called 5D on a whim and they were able to get us both in last minute. Gabriel Ward designed our tattoos quickly and listened to our feedback/ideas. I LOVE my new tattoo and will definitely go back here for my next ink! Plus, the vibe is super chill and relaxing. An overall GREAT experience!

Had a walk in appointment with Nicole and although it’s not a tattoo she typically does, she did amazing and I’m absolutely in love! She made me feel so comfortable and made the experience fun and easy!

Amazing studio. Upon entering I was greeted by many staff in which made me feel comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed. Luxurious all around, incredible statues, art and chairs. You pay for what you get here. Dont make the mistake I made when I was younger. I am currently in the process of lasering my cheap tattoos, so 5D can replace them and make me feel confident again. I added an 100 percent healed picture of my most recent tattoo from 5D for people to see.

I have gotten 3 tattoos from Coletat.She is an incredible artist and a super genuine person. I would highly recommend if you want someone who cares about the quality of work they provide to check her out. This shop is clean and professional and a very relaxed environment yo will immediately feel comfortable in.

The 5D team is second to none! Their creative minds and skillsets keep their customers coming back time and time again. I can’t recommend this shop enough, as they are truly professionals in every sense of the word. Keep up the great work!

I’m gonna try to keep a long story as short as possible. I reached out to ruuben about 8 months ago for a design I was pretty committed to.I sent him a design i had predesigned by a tattoo designer that wasn’t perfect, but gave a pretty clear image of what I wanted.Ruuben scheduled a call with me and we discussed my design in detail, and aside from a few tweaks to my design, we were pretty much on the same page and he seemed cool with everything I wanted.fast forward to today as of writing this review, Ruuben starts expressing a lot of issues with the design. saying it’s tedious, the lettering I wanted (that he agreed to do even tho he doesn’t do lettering) wasn’t gonna look good, he was worried about wasting too much time, he would rather do something else and he’d rather this design be “another artists problem” and so forth.I start trying my best to compromise and give him as much creative freedom as I could so he would be allowed to do his best work, with few limitations. he ultimately ended up canceling on me, refunding my deposit, saying there were too many changes (i didnt try to change anything, i knew exactly what i wanted) he didn’t need recommendations on how to pull it off (I was trying to tweak my idea to allow him more creative freedom) said he sent me two images that i didn’t like (I told him i loved both of them) and he doesn’t “base any tattoos with lettering” (he agreed to do lettering 8 months earlier) and went on to say the refund of the deposit should cover my costs on travel (because i was flying from tennessee to minneapolis)All this 4 days before my tattoo appointment. well, the refund didn’t cover the time I took off or the full cost of travel. Ruuben knew what I wanted 8 months in advance and could have turned me down back then if he felt like it wasn’t something he wanted to do. I tried my best to compromise my initial design and idea and accommodate his wants for more creative freedom.he is a great artist and it was a pleasure working with him when we initially talked, but how he handled this days prior was very unprofessional.This design was dedicated to my uncle who isnt doing so well, and now I have to find another artist and probably wait over a year to get in, as artists of ruubens caliber tend to have long wait lists. I hope he is more professional in the future.

Best tattoo work by far! I’ve had a lot of work done by 5d studios and even tho it costs a lot of money it’s definitely worth the investment, don’t go to other artists just because it costs less money, you will regret it in the future! Spend the money and get top quality work from the best studio around! I have much more work, more than what’s in those pictures. I’ll get updated pictures taken and keep posting. Best artists are at 5d studios!

Where do I begin. First I had a email consultation and that went great. Gave me direction and suggestions. Pricing was good too. So many places charge because of a name. Well I’ll pay high for the artist and this place is on the mark. They have separate more private areas and the entire time I felt extremely comfortable. Akae did an amazing job. I will be back for more!

Ruuben drew up a full design for my leg. We did one back to back session. He rescheduled me once, I go in then tells me the project isn’t moving in the direction he wants and can’t mentally do it. I stay home fathers day weekend while my kids and wife go to the cabin without me because I didn’t want to reschedule one him. Worst customer service to say the least, how about don’t take a project on and then leave me here with barely anything done. Wasted my time and gas to drive here to listen to that, thanks dude real classy!

Best tattoo shop Ive been to. Hands down. Very professional and top tier quality!! If youre looking for unique original tattoos this is 100% the shop to go to.

By far the best tattoo experience I have had. The studio is run by creative, charismatic, passionate individuals who are the best at what they do. I felt completely comfortable through the whole experience, and they were always there to answer my questions or give me what I needed. The studio is spotless, very low-key, and filled with good energy.

I adore the style of this shop, it creates a whole experience. The artists here are top tier. If youre looking to get major work done, you pay for excellence that lasts, and its totally worth it. Thank you guys, Ill be seeing you again soon!!!
