What a fun, talented group of folks. Cara turned my concept into something better than I had imagined, and designed it for placement on my ankle/calf. She did a beautiful job. Love this shop! I came in as a walk in on a Monday night, there were two people in front of me. The two artists that were there worked together drawing and preparing the tattoos for the three of us and I was able to get my tattoo way faster than I anticipated! I walked in wanting a red ink outline tattoo and they were very informative on the healing process of it and that it was very likely it would heal and be spotty, I decided to go for black ink instead. So glad they let me know and I wasn’t disappointed later on!! They were super nice and sociable and Sierra did an amazing job. This was my first time getting a tattoo done in Minnesota and it was a great experience! It was also a very fair price. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back! The picture is immediately after it was done, but it is healing very nicely. They also let me know I could come back in a few weeks for a touch up if it was needed.

The artists are laid back, friendly, and talented. Ive gotten work done here twice, and Ill be back again.

My sister, my husband, and I were all walk-ins. The three of us were all greeted with such kindness from Shawn. He went above and beyond by trying to squeeze all of us in. However, he was only able to tattoo two of us. The entire time he was so patient and kind! He truly cares about his clients and it shows. So I truly cannot say enough good things about him and the shop. This was absolutely the kindest tattoo shop we have ever been to. I will always highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Definitely would recommend Chaz! He’s done all my tattoos from a full sleeve to my side piece. All his work is really amazing, pricing is super reasonable, and he’s down to earth. He makes the whole experience easy and comforting, especially for someone who has low pain tolerance.

This was my very first tattoo and I had an AMAZING experience. Not only is the tattoo exactly what I wanted and super well done and beautiful, but Sierra was super patient with my nerves and explained each step and helped me feel a lot more calm. I’m from out of state but would totally come back just to get another tattoo from them!

I absolutely am in love with this studio. I went in for a walk in and was taken care of right away, Shawn was super professional and kind and made the entire process so incredibly easy. A lot of tattoo shops make you feel intimidated but this one made me feel so at home and comfortable within 5 minutes of being there. The quality of the work is absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted, all my concerns were addressed, the value is incredible, and I cannot wait to go back for more:)

Really incredible place. The owner, Shawn, is so great, he worked with my sister and I carefully to make sure we had the best tattoo possible. Price was incredibly affordable and honestly he couldve asked for more and it would have been worth it. Dont let his tough attitude scare you away; its because he loves what he does and he cares, a lot, about your tattoo journey. Will keep coming here for my tattoo needs.

Walked in almost 2 years ago now on a recommendation from a friend. Had a small tattoo i wanted. I dont remember exactly how the conversation went, but I ended up getting 2 tattoos for just barely over shop minimum, a DNA double helix on my ankle (I am a biology student) and a greyhound (I had a rescue greyhound at the time.) Shawn worked with me to get the designs PERFECT (I think it was at least an hour, which I really appreciated considering I was a walk in) and really listened to what I wanted. Tattoos are still looking great. Only reasons I havent been back for more are time and a strict budget, but am definitely planning to go back. My friend has also gotten lots of beautiful work from Sara. While I have a different artist I usually work with, I really love this place and highly recommend.

The owner sounds intimidating over the phone but is very nice in person. He cares about every person who walks in the door no matter if hes busy or not. He is very agreeable and knowledgeable. And to top it off the prices are better than the local competitors! Would recommend this tattoo shop even if you have a preferred artists.

So I’ve gotten a few tattoos here in the last few years, and had great experiences, but I recently got tattooed by sierra and while she was great and did a wonderful job, I was a bit concerned about the station she was using. I understand that sierra was only using this station temporarily, but everything was filthy. The sink and drawers were covered in grime and all the dead animals were a bit too much considering the area overall was gross. The rest of the shop is clean and everyone is great, I just hope this particular area gets addressed

I was wary about scheduling any tattoo services during a pandemic, especially since one does not know how guidelines could change from month to month, but I was able to get in for a small tattoo early in January and it went much better than expected. The establishment is very clean and it was evident they had bolstered their hygienic efforts, which put me more at ease about spending time inside. Additionally, occupancy was very low, with entry restricted only to the few artists (2 when I was there) and SCHEDULED patrons (just myself).The tattoo itself was awesome (artist: Sara Legel). I hope to remember to post a pic once its healed. I would definitely return for another!

This place was over the top A+Super chill set up and super cool people, you’ll feel relaxed from start to finish. I got my daughter’s names tattooed on my arm by Chaz and the guy couldn’t have been easier to work with. Super professional down to earth guy who made sure I was 100% happy with the work. The pricing is also amazing. I’ll be back for sure!!!

After being turned down by another shop near by due to the size of the work I wanted, I came here looking to have two very small pieces done. Shawn welcomed me immediately, and worked with me to keep the integrity of the designs while making sure the result would last. The shop in general was very clean and organized, and all the staff were fun and friendly. I was very happy with my pieces. Clean, neat, simple linework, and reasonable prices. Couldnt have asked for more. Wonderful shop.

I walked in randomly just to check the place out and possibly make an appointment for something small I was interested in. The few artists that were in that day were beyond inviting and friendly. They were able to accommodate me in the same day, and I ended up getting my tattoo done the same day. I felt totally comfortable, and Danny did an awesome job, and truly spent the time to give me exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

This was my first tattoo from a professional. But my tattoo designer was a very pleasant person Julie is her name. She listen to my concerns also Julie gave her opinions and she had very good ideas. Also I wanted a portrait which she was right on the details. I highly recommend this person and this place wasvery clean and they take great care of their equipment is very clean.

Got both of my arms done by Shawn. He was very reasonable in negotiating a price and timeline for completing ~30 hours of work. Overall a great value for some fantastic tattoos. Its a good thing I dont live closer, or Id probably have spent a lot more money by now.

Back again! Ive been going to Brass Knuckle for five years now. Shawn and the team are always down to earth, fun to chat with and amazing artists. The shop is chill and just good vibes. Ive even turned my newly turned 18yo into a Brass Knuckle only kind of girl.

We did walk-in matching tattoos and the result was awesome! The shop was very clean and everyone was professional. Chaz did a great job and Trash Panda was very helpful when my fiancé felt like she was going to pass out. If we would have gotten our tattoos down the street, the price would have been double for the same quality tattoo. Great place!

Shawn was great. Walked in at 6pm on Wednesday night and they took us in right away. Got a palm tree and a kiss on my ankles and Shawn did a great job. He was funny and the line work was great.

Got my first tattoo done here along side my best friend and my boyfriend theirs turned out great!! And everyone working at the shop was wonderful and got us in quickly! But I’m alittle disappointed with my tattoo, I got a small cross on my chest and the lines are not straight or even. I loved the shop but my tattoo is disappointing.

I have had four of my five tattoos done here. Every time a wonderful experience. I went in to get advice and a quote for two other tattoos, but had a very negative encounter. The young man I spoke to was rude, unhelpful and didn’t want to give me the time of day. Maybe because they were two smaller tattoos that wouldn’t be as big of a payout for him and therefore not worth his time. I said I would think about it and he went to the back of the shop without another word and didn’t come back to check on me. Extremely off-putting. Too bad for him, because I went in ready to get them done that day, but his rude demeanor lost a paying customer.

This is my 5th time getting tattooed, 1st time here.Walked in 1/8/20 with an idea and pic for reference, Ashli Rabbitt was available the next day!She worked with me to get the design/size/color just how I wanted and perfectly executed it.She talked with me through the tattoo which helps me, the shop had a great atmosphere and some hard rock jams playing overhead.Also fair pricing compared to some others in the area. I had my first tattoo done here and it was very simple and very small. It looks terrible. I hate it. The lines are crooked and the orange didnt show up very well. The lady that did it was rude as well. I dont remember her name but she had orange dreads. Would not recommend going here at all!

Brass Knuckle is everything youd want in a tattoo shop - highly skilled and professional artists in a fun atmosphere. Walked into Brass Knuckle for my first tattoo a year ago and found a shop where the artists are responsive, welcoming and really, really good at what they do. I dont expect everyone to have their tattoo artist become one of their best friends (which is what happened to me), but I do expect that anyone who walks into Brass Knuckle will have a great experience and leave with a tattoo they love. The artists at Brass Knuckle can play up and down the ladder from the most simple of walk-in tattoos to large and intricate pieces that the artists have spent hours preparing with client input. Over a year later and following countless trips to Brass Knuckle for additional ink, its easy for me to say that, outside of a doctors office, Rabbitt at Brass Knuckle is the only person Ill ever let stick a needle in my body.

I’ve gone to brass knuckles twice now and have had a fantastic experience both times. Danny helped me most recently and did a great job. They’ve had time for my walk ins and done a great job with them. I highly recommend brass knuckles

Friendly artists, good price. They do their best to accommodate everyones needs. Dont call later in the day, they dont take walk-ins after 7pm, and they are busy.

Stop in an ask for Rabbitt, shes absolutely incredible although none of the artists here will do you wrong! The owner is in pretty much everyday which I find pretty cool and after coming in a couple times they all remember me which feels awesome.

Got my eyebrows microbladed by Emily at Brass Knuckle and they are sooo amazing. I searched long and hard to find someone who would be up for the job. Im super picky. When I say Im picky, I mean that I am over the top detailed oriented. She is such a rockstar. About a year ago, I booked a consult with another place in town. I ended up canceling that appointment, because it just didnt feel right. Emily is my eyebrow soul sister and a true artist. She is kind, understanding and a little bit of a spit fire. I cant recommend her enough. Now, I can truly wake up in the morning and say I woke up like this.

Very disappointing. I knew what I wanted, a lotus flower. But he wanted to have his own design because the art work was going to be under his name which I can understand. But I dont think he understands that i need to love the art that is going to be on my body FOREVER! I was not picky nor rude. The conversation of what I wanted lasted about 2-3 minutes. I can tell right away he was not happy. Very impatient VERY!. he told me he felt cheated.. ? What does that mean? I was very close to walking out. I never felt such disrespect. And rudeness. All because i didnt want to use his design. I just wanted to use mine. So he tattooed my lotus on my wrist. And it turned out not what i payed for. Do u know that saying (u get what u payed for). Payed 85 plus 10 dollar tip.. for a simple plan lotus flower that is 2 inches big. Took 20min. Lines are not smooth. The points are thick black globs. Rip off! Horrible experience. Well never go here again. Nor well my friends. And people I have talked to. Please dont go here. You can get the same price, better art at Saint Sabrina. A couple stores down.

I went in for a walk-in tattoo, and the owner was closing up due to slow business, but he opened back up for me and gave me my tattoo. He was also hilarious and outgoing. My tattoo looks amazing!

Called this place on 9/18 at 4:30pm to ask a few questions regarding my first tattoo. The girl that answered was so rude. Absolutely rude. I heard great things about this place and wanted to get my tattoo here. But after that, Im never ever ever going to step foot into this place. Awful customer service.

Ive had 7 tatoos done here over th years n ive always been treated like family ...th fascility n staff r top notch n they dont rip you off or screw you over n i am always getting great compliments on my ink n how vivid th colors are n such even though they r like several years old with no touch ups ...id definitely recommend this awesome studio :)

Stopped in for a consultation with Ashli Rabbitt and was out in 10 minutes with an appointment! Love the professionalism and the beautiful work. Rabbitt is the best!

I asked them simply to touch up my tattoos with minimal white ink and they said no because it wasn’t done there. Rude.

They did a great job it was my sons first tattoo and they made him feel very comfortable and very welcome
