Go see Erin!! I have been going to Creative Images and getting tattooed by Erin for many years now. She is extremely talented and takes my ideas and brings them to life. She has literally tattooed me from head to foot and I have recommended her to many friends & family and they all loved their tattoos as well. The staff are friendly, professional and easy to talk to. The facility is clean and well kept. I highly recommend going to see Erin!!

I just got my tattoo done today by the fantastic artist Funguy i came in as a walk in and treated me like I had an appointment, clicked with him very fast, not only did I get an amazing tattoo but I also made a good friend in the process. very easy going and loves what he does. Sierra and Kai were also in the shop at the time and made me feel at home, all around a fantastic experience and all around fantastic and passionate artists. would go again and will be going again, I highly recommend going there whether its your first tat or your 100th.

Literally the best piercing shop experience I’ve ever had. I’ve gone to shops all over Minneapolis and I really enjoyed my experience here and the workers were so cool and friendly. It was incredibly professional and although I didn’t get one this time (will absolutely be returning in the future to get another piercing), I was super super impressed by their selection of jewelry for a proper butterfly kiss piercing. I really recommend this shop even if it’s a bit of a drive! I also recommend getting their saline spray, Kai explained why that is better and more sanitary and I was very pleased to grab some for only $10.

Creative Images is my favorite shop! I have been going there for a few years now and I would recommend them to anyone. Staff has always been professional, friendly, and have great customer service. Sierra and Erin have tattooed some of my favorite tattoos and Kai has done a few of my piercings. Kai is very knowledgeable about piercings and I always feel comfortable and confident their skills. And I absolutely love all of the jewelry options they have as well! Kai is always so helpful and patient with me whenever I need to come in for a jewelry change. 10/10, would recommend to anyone!

I got my septum pierced here! It was my first official time getting a real piercing (as in not done at home with a kit bought from Spencers) and Kai was so wonderful and gentle! My mom also came with and got a nose stud! We had so much fun and I love my piercing! Thanks so much for making my experience as easy and relaxing as possible. I’ve been going to Creative Images for 20+ years. Everyone there is always great to talk to and chat with while getting or waiting for tattoos and piercings. Just finished my sleeve with Erin!! If you can have a smile on your face while getting a tattoo, its probably because Jack is your artist. He took my Very Specific Idea, explained what would and wouldnt work, and reimagined the concept as something beautiful and completely different from my original thought. He was very collaborative, explained the why and made my friend and I laugh throughout the process. To Jack: damn it, now Im going to have to come back for another tattoo.

Ultimately Ive been disappointed with the staff and service Ive received at Creative Images. This is specific to piercing, I have not gotten tattoos from here. I dont feel the staff value the clients time or understand how long they expect clients to wait for service or questions. Transparency and clear communication would have saved me a great deal of driving and frustration.Across my four visits to Creative Images for Piercings, I have not had great experiences. When I originally scouted for piercings, the vibes were not great and I felt that the staff didnt like the questions I had and simply wanted me to pay or leave. Despite this I wanted to return and get a piercing; I wanted to support the local artists.Attempting to go for piercing service, after calling ahead and expecting a short wait, I was made to wait for far too long, longer than 30-45 minutes, to be seen. Setting an appointment is the way to go.When I returned for a service with appointment, I did receive good service and explanations of the service and procedure! However upon completion, the artist didnt thoroughly clean or treat the site of the piercing and so a lot of blood was left clearly visible which I needed to clean in my vehicle. The check-out was awkward and rushed and I wasnt able to buy cleaning solution from them though it may have been charged to me regardless.Later on, I had called ahead to ask if I could have my jewelry loosened because I cannot remove them. I was told they would be able to see me when I arrived. When I arrived the piercing artist was just beginning a service for a group of clients of which the staff on the phone thought they were just wrapping up. After waiting for 20+ minutes and seeing that they were still just beginning the service and not being able to communicate with the piercing artists about my simple issue which I had hoped for a simple fix, I left.

When considering a tattoo, consider Creative Images for your next piece. The staff are all super friendly, welcoming and talented.Ive been tattoood by Erin twice now, both pieces turned out super awesome; Shes super talented and made the experience really enjoyable, considering I got work done on my throat and neck. 11/10 highly recommend.

Everybody who works here is extremely friendly and helpful.I got 4 new piercings done by Kai today and they did amazing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Upgraded my jewelry to something that fit my style, and I’m so happy with what I chose! I will definitely be back for more piercings and will send people to Kai!

Every experience with Creative Images is fantastic. Sierra has done 3 tattoos for me. While walk-ins are NOT an option, its because consults and design work are paramount for highest quality. Sierra can take an idea or piece of art and edit or enhance it and resize it to make it work better.Every session has been clean, safe, and comfortable.I put in my headphones and let her do her work. She lets me take breaks if I need and I adjust or offer to adjust if needed.She has great advice for making the session comfortable for her clients- recommend self and tattoo care before and after for maximum tattoo quality and healing.I keep a deposit on file for a future tattoo with Sierra. Im glad to be a client of hers and of Creative Images.

Love the atmosphere that Sierra creates for her clients. Always making sure to have a clean station and makes sure you are comfortable all while giving you a great experience! She is great at taking your idea and bringing it to life! wait to get back in her chair!

Funguy (Elliott) was awesome! He stole me from the get go!He answered the phone when I called for a walk in, he wasn’t able to get me in that day. But I stopped in the get an appointment scheduled! And even with natural life things going on he still came in on the day we had scheduled for and did mine and my husbands tattoos! He is so personable, funny and has THE BEST customer service! If he’s not able to do something he is Willing to direct you to another artist that can! He is awesome and I will definitely continue to use him as my tattoo guy!

Went to Creative Images for my first tattoo in about 13 years. Erin did an amazing job taking the very general vision I had and bringing it to life in her design. She was super friendly and welcoming. And the memorial tattoo that I got looks fantastic! Very pleased with the work! Very reasonable when it comes to pricing. Definitely would recommend both Erin & Creative Images!

Great customer service. Brought my daughter in to get her nose pierced, Kai was great and very informative about up keep aftercare. Love that she also provides follow up appointments to make sure everything is good after 6-8 weeks!

My girlfriend got 4 piercings done by Kai. Kai did an amazing job making sure she was comfortable and double checking that it’s where she wanted and what she wanted. Did a perfect job in a very timely manner. Highly recommend coming to get any type of piercings done by them!

I went to get my snake bites done and it was really an amazing experience. Kai the piercer was very patient as well with everything going on in the store and was very respectful. she did awesome on my piercings and the front desk guy was just as amazing! I HIGHLY recommend going to them!

Super friendly and amazing staff! The tattoo I got was an anime themed and it was amazing to have an artists who was into the same stuff as me put her own creative flair on the ideas I had. She combined everything I wanted, then made it beautiful, and understood the significance and importance to me as my first tattoo. Took about two weeks to heal this is a before and after photo of healing.

Went in for piercings and the whole experience was so fun. Kai and the entire shop were amazing! Piercings were perfectly placed and Kai made sure everything was okay before moving forward.

Where do I start? Everyone here rocks! We ended up having to find a new tattoo artist on the same day to do three tattoos in a blizzard for my daughter’s 18th birthday gift! Low and behold I call Creative Images. Elliot was amazing. He got us in immediately. He was honest about what we were looking at and put his own experiences for us to consider. He did amazing work! What started as a complete disaster turned into one of the most memorable days of our lives here. We will never go anywhere else and will send everyone their way. Everyone in the shop was fun and friendly. The clients and employees. You guys helped my save my daughters 18th birthday and we will never forget that!! Thanks Elliot! You rock dude!

Amazing experience! I called before I went in and whoever answered the phone was very nice and welcoming. When I got there someone helped me pretty quickly. The person who pierced me was Kai, they were very nice. They took their time to explain the cleaning process and the rights and wrongs of the cleaning process I was told by my last piercer. The piercings themselves went very smoothly and they even took time to make sure my 2 nostril piercing were lined up. I would definitely go again!

GO TO SIERRA, I got introduced to her about 7-9 months ago and since I’ve probably had like 10-15 sessions since, besides the amazing, incredible work she’s done for me, the atmosphere she creates and conversations makes this my therapy place. I brought my girls for piercings- a helix and a second lobe piercing. Both girls are minors and were nervous. Kai was patient and didn’t rush them during the process. Both girls walked out with smiles and are looking forward to going again.

Kai pierced both my nose and my ears and did wonderfully both times, it barely hurt and was a very pleasant experience!

Interesting experience for sure. Jewelry is $20 and up. Not $20 or less like their site states.. So.., 2 basic piercing for $60 plus $20 for each simple basic ball jewelry so $100 total An then I was told $142 if you pick the smallest jewelry with a colored gem.. on 2 basic piercing still.Idk really.. but to help give those a better idea of what they might spend or need to bring with themI have thank you very much. Thats why Ive gone here.. An it says right there. On youre website still. I even showed you when I was there, an it still says it.. as in the photo. it says 20 or less. An you did not care when I showed you. An before when I was there, I had the colored gems, and it wasnt like that.. so maybe you just change the price as ppl come in an thats why there is no price tag by them..

Have gone to this shop a couple times with “Funguy” or Elliott and he is very very easy to talk with and makes it very fun and interesting while you are there. His art is also very top notch and I love it

Clean and professional shop. I’ve spent maybe 40+ hours total over the last few years in their tattoo chairs. Post care and maintenance has always been clear and straight forward. I have never had a problem with the staff or a tattoo.

Pierced my nose with a 14g (most nose piercings are 16g or smaller), pierced my friends lobes with two different gauges, smaller one being 14g. We didnt find out until we tried changed just the backs with 14g posts we had bought. Only one of the tops fit. The other was too big. Better places to get pierced from, wouldnt recommend.

Came here 2 different times to get a snake bite piercing, double helix, and a flat piercing. I love how efficient the piercer is and all the workers are very lively and kind.

Erin is an amazing tattoo artist. Not only did she do an incredible job on my tattoo, but she had great customer service as well. When she heard that I might pass out from seeing my blood (I know, fun right?) she give me some sugar tablets to help offset this issue. I was so impressed by this small little gesture. She was also really easy to talk to through the entire process, it want by so quickly. The healing process was really easy and simple and my tattoo came out so great. I get compliments on it all the time. I will continue to go to Erin for any future tattoos and I would highly recommend her to anyone else!

Ive been here over 10 times and its my favorite place. Sierra is my tattoo artist and my piercer and I will never trust another person with my permanent body modifications like I trust her. Shes so sweet and so good at what she does. I highly suggest getting pierced/tattooed by sierra.

I had my first tattoos done and theres nowhere better I could have gone except here. The air was fresh walking in, the service was neat and everything was clean. For the best art go to Jack because he was is so patient , understanding and professional. Hes been doing this a long time, so the suggestions he provided helped me make the right choices for my tattoos. I healed quick and I love the results. The music playing in there was also satisfying. I will be going back for more ink! Like the name says, they are honestly creative and the images are fantastic!

I went to this shop for a consultation on Monday everything was great I set up an appointment and payed a deposit where I was told I would receive my deposit back with 48 hrs notice. My work contract was cancelled unexpectedly Tuesday night so I called the shop to cancel my appointment because I would be returning back to my home state. I called at 1pm today ,Wednesday, where I was told I would not receive my deposit back because it was technically 47hrs till my appointment. I would not suggest this place and I can’t believe how rude the receptionist was about the whole ordeal. I’m absolutely livid.

Sierra is my artist at Creative Images. She made my experience absolutely fantastic! Not only does she do stunning work, but she actually cares about her customers and it shows!!I will definitely be back - shes worth the drive. 💛

Erin is the best, my brows look awesome! Shes efficient, detailed and makes the time pass quickly. Shes affordable and I receive constant compliments on my eyebrows thanks to her. Oh, and the shop is incredibly clean and organized. Highly recommend!

I had my first tattoo at creative images, and Curtis was my artist. He was super kind and wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. He made my tattoo the way I wanted and charged a very fair price. Definitely reccomend this shop. It was also super clean (as expected) and seemed very welcoming.

I went to Creative Images for my Septum and my Right Nostril. Mars was both an amazing piercer, and person. She made sure I was comfortable in the space and we had great laughs for the time I was there. I asked her a couple of questions and each one was answered with depth. I recommend Creative Images to anyone and everyone looking to get pierced.

False advertising**** sign says two piercings for 60$ including price of jewelry. Asked about deal they clarified it’s per one person, so got two for myself and when I went to pay they charged me 100$ because of the jewelry fee. Asked staff about it and said “we can’t change the sign” but even tho I asked them specifically about the sign and that deal they never told me it was outdated so price came as a complete surprise couldn’t do much about it bc I already got the piercings done. Feeling scammed. Sad because staff seemed nice initially.

I got my very first tattoo here. I loved everything about the place. When I set up my consultation my artist in my same area and agreed to meet me close to home. He was so detailed about everything. Even things I didnt think about. The store was fun, and light hearted. They are all so funny, and it was so much fun to be there. I cant wait to back for my next one.

I contacted creative images via their website contact form to have a tattoo altered. I never heard back so after giving it some time I eventually called. After phone tag I was able to eventually schedule an appointment. embarrassingly I totally blanked on the appointment and was not able to make it. I called back apologizing profusely and asking to reschedule. And they and I hatched out the details and made a new appointment. After that call I realized and I would not be able to make my deposit for that appointment (which was not mentioned during the call and I only know from personal experience) and called to reschedule for a later when I had the funds available. They said it wouldnt be a problem and its better to book the consultation now to get on the calendars and I could drop off the deposit later. I appreciated the flexibility and was looking forward to my appointment. The day of the appointment I worked late and showed up unprepared and messy. I was pretty downtrodden by the whole situation coming in. Nothing against the shop just life. I walk in and no one is at the front desk and no one said anything when I walked in and the door chimed. I waited some time read some signage went and wash my hands at the contactless station which I greatly appreciate, and was well set up. I walked past people, no one acknowledged me and no one gave me directions, nothing I just hung around at the front for quite some time. I was about to leave and an artist came up. I was told the tattoo artist I was booked with was unavailable for personal reasons and would be in shortly. 20 minutes later they finally showed up and sat in their car for several minutes before they finally came in. I explained I was unavailable to get ready before the appointment, it was a shoulder tattoo, and needed privacy to show the piece I needed worked on. They are very accommodating to this which I appreciate. We walked past another patron. It looked like they were waiting for the artist I had. We were in the room and I explained what I was hoping to do. The artist was extremely rude and condescending. They made comments like Im at work I look more put together. Are they also said I dont see what you see and also multiple times said they wanted to shake me. They made me feel less than and like an idiot. Granted theyre allowed to have their own viewpoints but considering its my body I did not appreciate being told that me trying to remove my trauma was not needed. It got to the point I grabbed my bag told them they are probably right for what they assumed and left.I get people may not understand why I want to have changes, but at the end of the day its my body and I dont appreciate the negativity condescending behaviors and comments. In general it was really upsetting considering I had a good experience at their old location. There were several other negative things that happened with both people at the parlor but considering this post is already long I dont think theres needs to get into it. I would just email to let the owner know, but I doubt they would see it considering they didnt even see my email for an appointment. This is all I could think of to let them know of the experience I had. I hope this is an extreme outlier and other people have positive experiences

I had a two piercings done a couple weeks ago by Nick (thank you again). He was very informative and professional. Nick did an amazing job and I will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend Creative Images.

3 of us stopped in as walk ins to see if we could get tattoos. We set an appt for 8pm and Nick not only did an amazing job but stayed open 2 hours after close to get them all finished. They are all amazing and we love them. Thank you so much!

I went for a couple piercings a couple days ago. My 2 original choices (navel & daith) I was told are not possible (I used to help out in a shop and had previously got consulted on them so I know they are possible) so I got 2 different ones and my helix jewelry is too short for the swelling so it hurts (it’s a flat back not a curved barbell, which is what in used to getting) & is bruised along with my tragus is bruised. The 2 for $60 was nice but the location, appearance and job done reminded me of being in Tennessee and getting my septum done in a shady shop. Overall the shop was clean inside. But the clamps weren’t suppose to hurt. And the tools weren’t opened in front of me.

I get my eyebrows microbladed here by Erin. Hands down the best price Ive seen and she does such an incredible job. Ill never go anywhere else!

In all honesty this is one of the best shops I’ve ever been to. Braxton has done a few of my tattoos and is in the process of finishing my sleeve. He’s an amazing artist with a dope creative instinct. By far the best artist I’ve ever had!

MaRiah did 2 piercings on me and i was nervous because the last time i was pierced professionally, not by Claires but an actual piercer, i felt super uncomfortable and they made me feel like a burden for even being in their existence. MaRiah was exceptional and professional. She is great with that awkward small talk, is charismatic, and knowledgeable. If you are looking to get a piercing, i recommend this place for the quality and service from MaRiah but also the unbeatable price in the area! The employees that was there during my appointment didn’t greet nor made any small talk. This isn’t my first piercing, so I know the routine. The guy I had took too long putting the needle through and made it hurt more than it should. When it was done and time to put the ball on, he was having difficulty and could tell he was shaking. Never had a piercing continue to hurt hours after. Wouldn’t go there again.

Forget everything you thought you knew about what a tattoo shop is. Walking into this shop is a professional, clean, and prompt service experience. I have been to dozens of shops in my life and this is the only one that I will be going back to. Erin is an amazing artist and owner. Very impressed

LATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! It was time to get our 5 year olds ears pierced and after doing all the research we decided to book an appointment with Creative Images. Upon arriving for our noon appointment we were told that Mariah was running late by the nice receptionist. After waiting 20 mins we decided to head back in and start the paperwork. We were informed that my daughters social security card might not suffice for identification and that we might need to go get her birth certificate. Sure enough, when Mariah arrived 30 mins late she said we did need the birth certificate and that we could run grab it and get back for her piercing. Instead of making the 1.5 hour round trip home we just went to the local courthouse to get a duplicate and we headed back to Creative Images. On our way back we called to let them know we were 15 mins out just to be told that Mariah said she would need us back at 7pm because she felt a 5 year old needed a full hour to pierce her lobes. After pleading with them that our daughter was very prepared for the piercing and wouldnt need near an hour they refused to proceed with the piercing prior to the 7pm even though they knew we lived almost an hour away. Instead of ruining our daughters day she was so excited for we called around until we finally got an appointment with Vanessa at St Paul Tattoo and Piercing. This was absolutely fate at work because we had the best experience there and would highly recommend going to them over Creative Images every day of the week. P.S. The entire process from walking through the doors to driving away took 25 mins.

Great experience. I was hesitant because my usual piercer wasnt available, but glad I decided to give them a shot! My piercer was super nice and she did a great job on my medusa. Very satisfied!

I was degraded and treated very poorly by the woman who was supposed to pierce me. Sierra. I knew exactly where I wanted my piercings but didn’t know the names and she told me “that makes you look silly” then I asked for the price one more time and she said “yeah that’s what I was trying to explain over the phone” I asked and pointed to a diamond and referred to it as “the silver one” and she goes “ummm you mean the clear one because clear and silver are two different colors” I asked for a portfolio and she got irritated with me for wanting to see pictures and having to get her phone. She was very rude and got impatient with everything I said though I was very compliant, nice and mannered. I walked out in tears and shock with how this woman was treating me. Never again

Got a nose pieced and let me just say they have a very nice person who does the piercing good customer service clean place that make sure your wash your hands ect... Its my first ever pricing on my face not sure what Im doing but Happy she knows what to do

Great guys! I had Arthur do my 3rd year Pure Romance tattoo. Not only was he quick, but he gave the tattoo much more detail than anticipated, turned out really cool! I kinda wish they had a website though. :)

Love this place! Danya did my lord of the rings tattoos on my wrist and theyre amazing. They worked around my price range that I could afford really well. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. Im usually pretty weary where I go but Im super glad I went here.

I called multiple times DURING business hours, on multiple days (3 different days; 6 phone calls total) and not one answer. The line didnt even go to voicemail as if their line was busy with another caller. Nobody simply picked up the phone. How can a business not have anyone answer the phone during their business hours? That tells me right there about their poor quality of customer service, so Im honestly glad I didnt go in for a walk-in because if their work is as good as they are at answering the phone during business hours, well, then it would have been a terrible tattoo Im sure. Sorry for the negative review, but maybe you should focus on better customer service, because, I mean you are a customer-centered business correct?

A lot of people just hit the 5 stars and say some stuff but thats not this guys opinion. Ben and his crew are seriously some of the best artists in the state. An idea turns into a magnificent piece of art you can be proud to wear on your skin. Friendly atmosphere with professional quality work. Love this place.

Had a good night getting a tattoo from the artist Jack and he did a great job! He did a great job on the shading and bringing the images to life with the dimensions in shading of the image and the color looked fantastic 🙏 a blessing to have a good tattoo artist like that.

Jack, who is one of the piercers, is phenomenall! Piercings make me so nervous, but Jack made me feel so comfortable and calm. It was a great experience and I honestly wouldnt go to anyone else!

Friendly and clean, Curtis did matching tattoos for my sister and I but the follow-up instructions were very poor all we got was leave the wrap on for three to five hours and then use Lubriderm no washing instructions so my tattoo is infected its been 8 days since Ive gotten it, very painful, Doctor had to debride and drain as well as start antibiotics. It will need retouching once it heals.

Stopped in on a whim for a quick piercing and they were happy to accommodate me. I mentioned that I sometimes pass out and they were great to offer me water and ask me if I was doing ok. Absolutely great experience!

After waiting for over an hour and a half for their SCHEDULED appointment, my sister & her friends were ready to leave and go to The Scottish Rose. Instead they are approached by Erin who implies that if the girls stayed, they would receive a discount; she ensures them the wait wont be much longer. By hour 3, Miss Amy is finally ready for her scheduled appointment and after one sketch rendering, leaves for a half hour before finally returning and giving a bad attitude to her delayed clients. Once it comes time to pay, Erin refuses to give a discount and acts as if she has no idea what theyre talking about. Do Not come here unless you like to be lied to, treated poorly, and delayed for longer than necessary.

Great experience!! My artist was so nice and fun to talk to, he even gave me advice on placement and design. I felt safe and welcomed in their shop, and the service was really great, especially considering my tattoo was a walk-in. So fortunate to have a cancellation today after trying to get a tat for months ;) the art is also great! Crisp, clear lines, and perfect symmetry and detail 🤩🤩
