Anyone who is looking for a talented and down to earth artist should definitely go see Ghost! He has done most of my tattoos and he always does an incredible job. He can take any idea of mine and make it into something truly beautiful. He has a life long client. 10/10 recommend!

Dominick did a fantastic job. I visited several shops before stopping at Mafia Ink. Dominick was working on another client and when I saw his line work I knew he was the artist I was hiring. I was able to schedule with him within a week.

The Phoenix was my very first tattoo July 10th this year. The artist Dom came highly recommended. Very respectable and compassionate and very dedicated to his work. It was such a great experience that I came back 3 weeks later to get another tattoo. I’m looking forward to having him do more body art for me. The rose and eye dream catcher tattoo was completed the day after thanksgiving. This one did take 2 sessions to complete. Same artists.

I would not recommend Terrence Ghost Tattoos. This tattoo is only 3 months old & already almost completely faded, with letters falling off & not the greatest work done overall. Messaged multiple times to get back in & try and get it fixed, but got nothing out of it.

Went here hoping to get fit into a busy schedule that I am sure they have. They fit me in within an hour. My artist (Dominick) was friendly and did great work. He took his time and we had great conversation. The artists are like a tight knit family. Laughing and joking. Nice atmosphere and professional work. I highly recommend and will be going back in about a month.

Went to their Valentine’s Day $20 special. We didn’t get there until around 8 pm but we were still able to get tickets and we got tattooed around 5 am by Alex, we were his last tattoos for the special and I’m sure he was very tired but he still did amazing work and was super friendly as was everyone else there. Would definitely do it again!

This being my first tattoo, Dominick was extremely helpful and accommodating towards making sure the detail is perfect and that the tattoo is in the right place where I want it to be.

City was Absolutely Amazing ❤️ He made time at the last minute for me and I gave him an idea of what I wanted, which he came back with something WAY better then I could ever imagine!!! The tattoo is beyond the best one I ever gotten. Very delicate during the process, kept up conversations and the artwork IN DETAIL its self is just WOW. This was my first time being in Mafia Ink, and I will say that the guys doing tattoos here are in a league all their own. My fiance wanted a small tattoo on her foot and Terrance Ghost (I believe his name is) was the artist we worked with for it. He is very laid back, funny, and oh, by the way, his tattoos on a larger scale are incredible. Ive now decided to go in and get a tattoo on my back finished, that Ive put off for 8 yrs, simply because of how good his work is and the fact that my fiance felt NO PAIN even though her tat was on the crest of her foot. That takes skills for sure!

Do NOT go to ghost! My daughter did a cyber deal where you get 1/2 off, he charge $100 an hr regularly, and charged her the regular price, he worked on the most BASIC tatoo, no shading, no creativity what so ever, she could have got the SAME tatoo from a beginning tattoo artist. I wish I could have given him a BIG 0!

It was a fantastic experience and opportunity to get the tattoo that I invisioned done . It was a friendly and comfortable invierment. It is clean and will absolutely go back .

I honestly forgot that I had rated this shop until the owner thanked me for my review. I figure Ill add something now that Ive had one of my tattoos for nearly a year now and just recently went back and recieved my second. Both of my tattoos were done by Cory Dee, they are also the only tattoos I have.Ive seen a few negative reviews about their specials but Ive never gone since they tend to do around 2000 people at these events. I cant honestly comment on them but Ive been told they start and continue until everyone gets what theyre looking for. Huge props to these guys for doing these specials, Im just more of a go big or go home kind of guy.Ive made appointments for both my tattoos for five hour sessions. My tattoos are all black and I am hooked on getting Ink now. Each of my tattoos I came in with an idea and a general look I was going for and they far exceeded what I was looking for. Ive gotten nothing but compliments for my tattoos. Usually in regards to the shading and lines. Even though its a solid hour drive to get here, Ill always end up heading their way. Afterall I still have to finish my sleeve.

If you havent been. I highly suggest going. Many skilled artist for w.e needs your looking for. Me personally, I go to Cory d. Been a loyal friend now since they started the business. Go say hi. Drop a deposit and get your time slot befor I take it. Do not let the wait time stop you. Take advantage of very skilled artist time. Cuz time is priceless.

Had many of their special events tattoos and never disappointed in a one. Great staff and artists. They work long hours during their specials and always have a great attitude.

They got dope flash tattoo sales every Friday the 13th. They put out thirteen sheets of tattoos to pick from and the cost is 13$ each with a 7$ to to the artist, totalling 20$. Its awesome I got five last time.

Ghost is very professional, he has a steady hand but isnt too heavy. I dont feel like hes digging or gouging in to my skin but instead lets the tattoo machine set the pace. He doesnt rush, but he doesnt waste time either. Honestly, a very great artist. I will be going back again! Also, the shop was clean and everyone was friendly. This made the experience very pleasant.Thank you so much for my beautiful tattoos!!

Had an absolutely amazing session with Paul Carlson. From the consult, to the time spent getting my drawings just right, to the time and work put in to every detail. Mad respect.Very honest and upfront to set expectations from the very beginning on the session and what he can and can’t do, yet easy to work with. I got my first tattoo here. As you imagine I was very nervous getting it and the lady I went thru Haro was very understanding and kept me calm thru the whole process. I have already plan my next tattoo with them and will be going to them again :)

They did my daughters tattoo, and did a fantastic job. So I had them touch up one of mine. I see this place is rated at expensive, but $60 base fee I think is more than reasonable. Talent is worth it. And they have amazing talent. A nice clean facility combined with nice people and that makes them recommended in my book.

WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL tattoo shop I have Ever encountered. I would Never trust Anyone at this shop to do work on me. Purely based on my experience up until now. Horrible communication between tattoo artist and client. I made a mistake by giving one of the artists the full amount plus $100 towards a tip (after the required $75). I ended up needing 3 surgeries with extensive recovery time. I asked kindly if he would return everything except for the original deposit, due to not knowing when I would be able to have work done again. No response. Then, I proposed to have my money except for the required deposit returned until the session is completed (whenever that is), and he still has not responded. Clearly this shop hires artists that care more about money than they do about their clients and the work that they do. I will GLADLY eat the money I have paid out of pocket instead of trusting an artist from this shop to put Permanent work on my body. BIGGEST mistake of my life was giving this shop a chance.

I just went for a special and for an appointment. I absolutely love all my tattoos. City did an amazing job bringing to life my idea. I cant wait to finish. I was so excited I booked another tattoo special! As soon as Im done with summer work Ill be getting myself in the books for another session

Pretty chill, laid back staff and artists. Came here for the Valentines Day $20 tattoo deal. From what I could tell, that was an extremely hectic and crazy day with a lot of upset/impatient people. Mafia Ink handled everything with care, respect, and efficiently. I read that there is also specials for those who got the outlines to get them filled at a discounted rate in November. I will definitely be returning here and Im pretty confident that it will be another great experience.

This shop is family owned by the cutest husband and wife. They have top notch equipment and amazing service! Their prices are fair, and much lower then the city. I had work done by the owner Cory Dee he listens and gives you what you want. Can tell he takes a lot of pride in his shop and it shows in the quality of work he does. Def will be back and will recomend this place to others !

Back in April 2018 on one of their $20.00 Fridays my son and his girlfriend and I went and together we got 10 tattoos. I got 4 and only 1 was good. I went in today, July 25, 2018 to see if I could set up an appointment to have the 3 fixed and was told NO. I was told it was the placement and not their fault and if I wanted to I could pay to see if they could fix them as the owner stood and listened. From my experience (I have 10 other tattoos) other artists have always worked with me and would have told me a good place or maybe not and have always made it loud & clear if touch up needs to be done or anything else to come back and it would be free. I couldnt even give them 1 star. Do your research before you get your tat and I would highly recommend going somewhere else.From a Mother of 4 and a Grandmother of 13 take my advice, its not worth the hassle.

I have had work done by Pork Chop but he is no longer at this shop. So when I came back to get work done I seen Jake, his new school style is amazing! his graffiti work is unbelievable. I would most def recommend him to anyone I know. In fact he has done work on three of my friends since me. His color is amazing and his line work is so crisp!!! thanks jake

My wife went to get a commemorative tattoo for her grandmother which she liked but getting in contact with dom for a quick touch up was a nightmare. Months with no response. And when she was finally able to schedule an appointment he didnt show up and just made a big joke about wasting her time.mafia ink saint louis park.

$20 Special was cool. Long wait tho, which was expected. I caught up on some zzzzzz in the car. Got tattoed about 4:30am.Alex, was very personable. For the amount of people that were being serviced this evening, the customer service was cool, the process seemed pretty orderly. Overall I had a great experience. No complaints.

I had a Great experience here for my first tattoo I had City do my tattoo and he was so nice. I was super nervous going in for my first tattoo and scared that the Artist might be rude but it was the total opposite he was super nice, on time, fast, clean work space and over all it was a great experience for my first time definitely will be back for future tattoos

Mafia ink is the best tattoo shop in Minnesota, bar none. Great atmosphere, killer tat’s. Cory Dee has inked 6 family members and we all love his work.

I have had most of my tattoos done by Mafia Ink, beginning in 2011. They were almost all done by Cory. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I have over twenty tattoos, in various sizes. I am always given the sheet describing the after care instructions even though I am aware of the procedures. The staff are talented and friendly. I have never had an issue with anyone there. The place is clean and sterile. They are always up to date with new ink and after care ointments. You can purchase ointment from them or just use A&D ointment. They dont force you into a purchase. Payments are always made in cash which is the norm for a tattoo establishment. Prior to coming here I had gone to another shop. My older tattoos still look amazing, the colors are still vibrant. I receive many compliments on them and I always recommend Mafia Ink. I have been to both locations. The music can get a bit loud and not in the genres I prefer. I usually bring my iPod and listen to my own selections when I am not conversing with Cory. I am always treated with respect. I have never done the monthly specials so I cant speak to those. FYI: They do have a restroom accessible through the back of their establishment. It just isnt for public use.

I have now gotten 3 tattoos from Axel at Maplewood.... this company is by far the best .... their prices are awesome but that being said the quality of the tattoo is exceptional!!!!! if you are really considering a tattoo in MN please give them a shot. Axel and the others can take a concept and give you the best tattoo youll ever dream of

Paid 60$ on a deposit for a 600$ piece on my neck. 1 month later artist axle doesnt respond to messages about updates on drawing. Called the parlour and said I want to speak with the owner for my 60$... Nothing. Im going to small claims. Its only 60$ but they can also pay the 250$ to appear. Should be called jokers ink... bums. Update: Apparently if the artist doesnt follow through with their work after a deposit thats between you and them as an independent contractor. Great way to run a business!!!!! Their a joke....

Jake did a very horrible job on my tattoo. First he booked another appointment same time as mines then we started late at 1pm and ended at 3:30pm. Thats 3 1/2 hours. My tattoo doesnt match the idea and picture I showed. . I was charged $300 and didnt even get a full session. I am very disappointed in his work. Will not be coming back.

An artist within this company has stolen 200 dollars from me and my spouse and the shop does nothing about because he rents a chair but works in the shop. SO unprofessional. The work he did do on the both of us was unacceptable. I will be continuing to report and am thinking about small claims court as there is not many laws with tattoo shops screwing people over.. I Dont recommend this shop. I have heard many warnings. Went anyway and learned my lesson

Went for their Halloween Special. I got my tattoo done by Mars at the Maplewood location, and I will definitely be seeing him again for future tattoos!

Went for the 20$ deal thinking it would take 2-4 hours since they had a number system. Number system failed, let people in 500s go before they even finished 200s. Then if you missed your number, they let you jump ahead. I went in at around 1, and waited until midnight. Still didnt get a tattoo. Beyond annoyed with how I wasted all that time for nothing.

Hated it. Went for the 20$ Halloween tattoo special and my tattoo is HORRIBLE. The line work is so shakey it looks like an inexperienced friend did it in her basement. Its very red and angry and this has happened with none of my other tattoos. My artist kept complaining about how tired she was and told us she only had two MONTHS experience halfway through my tattoo. Everyone in the shop was yelling at eachother, and was just plain unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend this place and cannot wait to get this botched Rose fixed.

Tattooed, tattoo faded in three weeks ... got it repaired AND colored... color is faded. In less than ONE MONTH. Will never go back there again.... NEVER again. I have a wedding ring tattoo that I got in 2000, my Mafia ink tattoos are EQUAL in fade as my 17 year old tattoo and they are only a year (+/- month) old.

Clean, and friendly. Jake Jernell does great work and has great prices. I will be going to him for years to come. I recommend him to all my friends, or just anyone I meet.

The guy that did my sm tat did not seem to care and for something sm and simple it still got messed up. Lack of attention and having to pay a min of $100 you expect full attention on what your getting. So I would not recommend this shop.

Mafia Ink tattoo, had a $20 tattoo deal. I got my ticket at 1 and they opened at 12, when it was closer to my ticket number they would let people from earlier, that missed their dead line cut in front of people who had been waiting and following the rules of the ticket. I ended up leaving because they didn’t seem to have a organized system or business. I wasted my whole day.

Came for the friday the 13th tattoo & had a very great experience staff was nice shop was clean everyone was friendly would have rated 5 stars but my tattoo is missing ink 😢
