Cant handle a bad review, especially when its a bacterial thing! 😂 Artist Sean Strick gave me a bacterial infection about a year and a half ago, and then I was laughed at by Sean, Jake, and the owner when I went back to question them, saying I was unclean. 😂🤣 SMH. Idk where my original post went 🤔 because there isnt a SINGLE bad review for this establishment other than an appointment fault of theirs 🤔🤔🤔 I will FOREVER hold a grudge against this place of business, and have moved to a MUCH better artist @creativeimages

I’ve been going to Fade Away for a while now, they are in my opinion the best in town! After having a super creepy experience with my first local laser technician at a different place in South MPLS, I found Joseph through their amazing reviews and trusted that the wait to get in would be worth it and I’m so glad I did. The place is friendly and clean and Joseph himself makes you feel comfortable and actually listens to your concerns/anxiety, and takes breaks when you need to without any judgment. My tattoos are surely fading away! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience at Northeast Tattoo with Jake Olson. This was my first tattoo experience and Jake was such a calming presence. He made sure the art was exactly what I imagined and gave me his input and advice. During the session, he made sure to check on my comfort and pain levels and had great bedside manner to help with any anxiety. Im getting several tattoos laser removed. Hes educated and knowledgeable with the process. Laid back atmosphere. Still professional but welcoming. Most tattoo shops can be chaotic and the environment borderline immature. Its nice this place is not like that. Treatment is good and the prices are fair. The only negative thing is the scheduling. It can be a process with the online only part. I almost gave up trying to figure it out. Im very glad I didnt. Im a few sessions in and have a few to go. Theres been zero, NO blistering which is huge!

She was professional, very informative, and walked me through the end to end process so I knew exactly what to expect during and after the procedure. I had my tattoo done here on 3/9. This was my first tattoo and I had a great experience at this place. The facility was clean and inviting. The artist (Jordan M) was friendly and the work he did turned out awesome! I liked how they thoroughly explained how to take care of your tattoo during the healing process. Joseph shares his (expansive) knowledge of the process and takes his time to ensure you understand not only how the session will go but the process of laser removal itself, the how and whys of it all. Not going to lie, the laser hurts like a mofo! (but oh so worth it!) Same as tattooing, depending on body part etc pain will be less or more. The awesome part is that hes lightning quick and was over before I thought he was even half way finished. Joseph ensures your comfort, not rushed, offers breaks etc.Other niceties, the shop deco is fab, clean and what it should be. Theyre tech savvy so you dont have to deal with annoying paperwork or writing down appointments (always a bonus) and their pricing is right on! I ended up at Northeast Tattoo & Laser Tattoo Removal after reading the article Tattoo Removal: the cost to erase ink posted to Kare11s website. I scheduled an appointment and met with Joseph for a consultation a few days later. The staff was polite, Joseph was extremely knowledgeable and honest about the process. It did freak me out that there would be no numbing cream, but they do give you ice and given how small my tattoo was it wasnt a major concern for me. I went in for my first treatment shortly after I had my consultation. It went just as I was told it would and I look forward to working with Joseph until my tattoo is fully removed. I would recommend this shop to anyone who asked, not only because of my satisfaction with the staff and cleanliness of the shop but also for the affordability. Look no further!

My in office visit was very smooth and professional. They answered all my questions with out being snobbish and seemed to truly care about the process and my comfort level throughout. The only complaint I would have is in the communication. I emailed them through their info email as a follow up to my initial appointment, which I had made online...but they never responded to that email. However, once I arrived, everything seemed to be taken care of and I was in and out within 40-45 minutes. Quite quickly considering I had two tattoos done. Overall, a very positive experience! I would recommend them to anyone wanting to remove a tattoo.

I started going here for laser removal because my boyfriend had been coming to them to get AMAZING tattoos from them for many years and he always bragged about how much he loved it there. I had been quoted by many other laser removal places before and I must say North East had the best in prices and amazing quality. Laser removal can be scary, and they always make me feel very comfortable and try to make it as easy as possible for me. I have had at least 10 total sessions between my 4 tattoos and this is the only place I will go and refer other people to go. The manager Alex is so nice, cool and professional! Ive got a few tattoos and theyve each been done at a different shop. Every time Ive gone, my biggest fear has been how I will be treated when I walk through the door. Ill admit, Ive had some pretty terrible experiences at tattoo shops (that I didnt end up getting work done at). Rude and/or unhelpful staff, being rushed through the process etc. Knowing that this piece of art is on your body for life, not only do I want to feel comfortable about where I get it done, I want to feel comfortable with the staff and the artist who is going to be doing the work.Northeast Tattoo over delivered in every possible way. From the second we walked in (my sister, friend and I went together to get coordinating tattoos) I knew we made the right decision. The employee at the front desk was unbelievably helpful in understanding what we wanted to have done and setting us up with an artist who was able to help us through the process.We worked with Kaily and I couldnt be happier. She was patient, willing to work with us until we felt 100% about the final plan for our tattoos and just an all around friendly person. She was diligent in cleanliness before each of our tattoos (as were all the other artists who were working in the space). I ended up having to adjust the placement of my tattoo 4 times prior to having her start the work and not once was I made to feel like a nuisance - in fact it was quite the opposite. Knowing that Kaily wanted my tattoo to be as perfect as I did and that she was willing to take as much time as needed to ensure the outcome was just that, perfect, is really admirable.Ive found my go-to spot and will happily recommend Northeast Tattoo for anyone looking for a place to go!

I am getting my first removal of a fairly large tattoo done by Joseph (tattoo was done elsewhere) . He is wonderful at what he does. Explains everything thoroughly so I knew what to expect. He has a very good chair side manor and he is very knowledgeable. It went very smoothly and I am excited to have started the process.

The atmosphere at NE is relaxed, fun, and safe. The staff makes you feel welcome and they treat you with respect. Aleks has done a fantastic job of decorating and has made it bright and inviting. The stations are clean and organized, you can tell that it is a safe place to get tattooed.I went to NE Tattoo to get my first tattoo done by Brian. I got a beautiful chickadee and pansy piece on my left rib cage. Now, this is supposedly the worst spot to get tattooed, especially for your first one! Knowing this going in I was expecting the worst but as Brian started he went slow and made sure I was comfortable. Yes, it hurt a ton but Brian made it bearable and we took a couple of breaks whenever I needed them. He was fantastic and did the most AMAZING job! I could not have asked for a better piece of permanent art on my body.I have also had a piercing done here. It was done by Mary who is a wonderful person. She is outgoing, personable and makes you feel comfortable when getting something pierced. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and can answer any questions that you have for her.All around, this shop is one of a kind and the only place I will get my tattoos or piercings. Everyone should check it out!!

This was the seventh time I had gotten my nose pierced and Aleks did a great job. He was welcoming, funny and interesting to talk with. He made it comfortable and even though painful, it was professional and a fun experience. I love Northeast Tattoo and have been there multiple times. I didnt think it would be possible to say something nice about people that cause me so much pain but here I go. Getting three tattoos removed burns like hell but these guys make it a good experience. I am six sessions in and each tattoo is responding at a different pace. I know that when i go back there will be good music good conversation and a laser that burns me. Maybe I am becoming a bit of a puss in my advanced age but it hurts worse and takes longer than getting them in the first place. I will go back and keep going back until they are gone for reasons only I know. I appreciate their knowledge about the process and the truth they speak. They are very honest about how long it may take and seem to enjoy the whole laser attacking color aspect of the process like artists. I also like that it is a comfortable environment and not a dermatologist office. You will not be judged and your tattoo will slowly disappear. You will even get to see others getting some ink as you walk out. If i could give 6 stars i would.

Joseph with Fade Away is great. Hes super chill and wont make you feel bad about your bad decisions lol thats why youre there. Explains everything clearly and thoroughly, is very open about the whole process and doesnt try to sell you an expensive package. Prices are honestly a steal and they have a parking lot. Went in there on a whim just to see what the shop was like and after talking to the piercer I decided to go ahead a get two tarsus piercings done. Lot less pain than the other shop I went to and quicker too. Really liked the experience and talking with the knowledgable staff. Price was fair. Also had some little tattoos done and a touch up on an old one. Jack was good. They look great, minimal pain and price was sort of bundle deal. Id recommend these guys any day of the week.Going back next week for more tat work.

After going to a couple of dermatologists and having them tell me they didnt know if they could help me and that it would probably take several sessions and end up costing me hundreds of dollars to get my small tattoo removed, I decided to skip it. Then I read about Northeast Tattoo removal and decided to make an appointment last May. Brent was awesome and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He talked with me and my husband about the whole procedure before he did the lasering which only took about 5-10 minutes. It was a small tattoo I did myself when I was younger and have been wanting it removed for quite some time. After one session it was almost completely gone but I decided to come back and have him do the rest of it. Brent was very professional and friendly and told me there would be no charge for my second visit. So instead of paying hundreds of dollars to a dermatologist who wasnt very friendly at all... I was only charged $60 at Northeast Tattoo. I would highly recommend Brent and Northeast Tatto! Thank you so much!

I had 4 sessions with Zak, we did a Wizard piece on my left arm in memory of my grandpa. The tattoo looks beautiful. I couldnt be happier with the results the detail and color are amazing. Zak made it a comfortable experience, in a great environment with awesome music. He was very professional and answered all my questions whenever I had them, always offered to write out specific instructions, and suggestions of products he uses for tattoo aftercare. Northeast Tattoo is the best place in the cities to get your tattoo. The business is clean and the artists are very professional. My tattoo was done by Jeff. I would recommend him to anyone that will ask. He explained every step of the process along the way. The best part was his artwork. I took him some artwork and he created it again because some of the elements where not perfect.

Jack did a gorgeous woodcut style tattoo of a river flowing to a setting sun with some trees and hills on either side of the river. He did an incredible job and checked in with me pretty often to make sure I was doing okay. Its also great to hear from your artist how much they enjoyed working on it!

I just had my first long awaited tattoo REMOVAL appointment. I was so nervous after reading tons of stuff online about how supposedly awful it was – Im here to say it was NOT BAD at all. In fact, I didnt feel 99% of it.Joseph did a test shot with the laser to demonstrate the feeling and I said just go for it. The grease splatter thing is kinda B.S., because that hurst way worse. The thing he did that helped so much was had me put an ice pack on the area for about 5-10 minutes then we jumped right in. I honestly didnt even feel it save for a few tiny spots, even then it was more than tolerable.That aside, Joseph is really friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and helped make it not such a scary endeavor by rattling off a lot of facts and explaining everything I wanted to know. Ill definitely be back for more in the future once I heal up!

Ive been living with some horrendous art work on my body for 35 years now and finally decided it was time to get it removed. After discussing the treatment and process with the people from Fadeaway I made the decissio to get it done. my first appointment with Brent went smooth, a small amount of pain but nothing one cant bear. Brent was very helpful and did everything to ensure my comfort. In and out in 20 minutes and after an hour or so it was like nothing happened. Give them a shout when you get tired of your old work. Great experience, great facility, great location. I highly recommend this facility.

Came in for a consultation and talked to Joseph who did a great job explaining the process of Fade Away tattoos which take as long as they take to remove. Was deciding between covering up or removing and ultimately decided to go with a cover up.Worked with Sean Strick who did a great detailed piece of art that made the cover up look amazing! Joe was knowledgable, professional, and made the process as quick and painless (as painless as it can be). One tattoo disappeared very quick and the others are nearly there just after a few sessions. I had an appointment set up with Haley Adams to get a small traditional tattoo done. The appointment was set for 1 PM. I arrived 5 minutes late and had to wait an extra 45 minutes to finally get called back because she was dealing with another client and also setting up slowly. I should have just walked out. The tattoo itself is very mediocre. I was only charged $100 but I would suggest looking elsewhere to get your work done.

Northeast Tattoo has the friendliest staff, so many incredible artists, and have such reasonable pricing that is absolutely worth every penny! These folks are definitely worth trusting with these important decisions. I highly recommend them!

I had an appointment set for noon to get a small wrist tattoo. When I got there the receptionist told me my artist, Teddy, was about to eat lunch and would be with me in a bit ... okay(?), so much for my appointment. While I was waiting she printed off two different font options of my tattoo and asked which I preferred. I told her I didnt like the first one but liked the second one. I went to sit down to wait again.. after waiting 40 MINUTES (with no updates from them about how long it would take, or questions about what I wanted) I went up to the counter to ask if it was going to be much longer, the receptionist said he was almost done with a drawing. After about 10 minutes more, (seriously, this was the worlds smallest tattoo, how long could it really take) I went up again saying I had somewhere to be soon. FINALLY Teddy came to the window with an outline of the tattoo I said I did NOT want -- what?! After a few more minutes dealing with him (he was very unprofessional) I decided to leave. An hour wasted and no tattoo :(. I went to The Holy Mackerel instead, had an AWESOME, professional, and fun experience and now have a sweet tattoo!I only give it one star because there was another employee there (shout out to the guy whos an avid fan of cooking shows) who was pleasant and talked to us while we waited.

Jeff is a rockstar! Just got my nose pierced and was a super baby about it, but he was super funny and did an awesome job! The entire process lasted 10 minutes and was pretty painless. I will definitely return to Northeast Tattoo for any future piercings!

I had my first experience with NE Tattoo when Sam was still working there (last Spring). The shop was very professional, and he did great work. We were working on a full sleeve, so I had several sessions booked over the course of a few months. When I called to cancel my last appointment with Sam a couple of months ago, I was told he no longer worked there, and they didnt know where he went. I didnt know Sams last name so I couldnt search for him. Having no reason to distrust this place, I went back to NE Tattoo and went with another artist (Spencer Hodgson). We agreed on a design for my back, to go along with a piece I already had. Spencer is a really good artist and the work was what we agreed on; however, over the first few days following the work he did, it appealed to me less and less. It just didnt work with what I already have on my back. I decided to have it removed and went to a laser clinic in my neighborhood. While at the shop, I learned that Sam Dunn is indeed still working in the metro area (Holy Mackerel Tattoo), AND the staff at NE Tattoo knew this all along! So now Im not only stuck with a piece I dont want, but also with the added expense of having it removed. I have no gripes with Spencer; its the employees who lied to my face about not knowing where Sam went. ALL OF THIS could have been avoided if they were honest. Apparently that was too much to ask.

I was researching different places to get my Tragus pierced and I came across this Northeast Tattoo shop. The staff is friendly and the prices are AFFORDABLE, a nice breath of fresh air compared to almost every other tattoo and pierce shop out there. Jeff pierced my Tragus and did an excellent job matching it up with the current tragus piercing in my other ear. AND he even let me come in at a moments notice when I needed something tweaked! Ill return here whenever I want more work done.

Im getting a half sleeve done at the moment by Sam Dunn. Im really impressed at the attention to detail and cost of the sessions. Some artist are more concerned with the money rather then the love of the art and I havent had that feeling at all with the past two sessions that Ive gone to. Its safe to say that ill be going there from now on.

Cant recommend going to NE for laser removal enough. Joseph makes the process as easy and painless (as possible). Also super knowledgeable and makes sure you walk away with an understanding of the ins and outs of the process. This is the place!

Laser tattoo removal: not that bad! Everyone always says its worse than getting the actual tattoo. Not so!1. Doesnt take as long (4 min vs 3 hours)2. My arm didnt look like raw packaged meat3. Afterwards, feels like a minor sunburn but thats already subsided significantly (12 hours later)4. Hurts way WAY less than getting the tattoo.So if youre looking to get a tattoo removed, go for it! And go here!

Just went into get my smiley. Its a piercing Ive wanted for a while, but was a little bit squeamish about the idea of getting a piercing in my mouth. Mary Todryk made me feel very relaxed, made sure the jewelry fit the shape of my mouth and was appropriate for my anatomy. Almost no pain (slight prick), bleeding, or swelling. Its an hour later and it feels healed already. I got a basic CBR for the piercing, but the special order selection available at Northeast Tattoo makes me excited to come back and switch it out. I would recommend her services to any and all interested parties.

Just had my first laser removal session with Scott , although the process itself was far more excruciating than I anticipated, (scott forgot to mention this detail) the experience was awesome. The expertise and professionalism far exceeded my expectations and it is definitely appreciated. Scott is a very knowledgeable and relateable professional and provides his service and explains things in the simplest way so you are confident and totally informed instead of the confusing and less informative approach and he is just all around an awesome guy who knows what he is doing , he takes general interest in your situation and hes committed to providing the best service and best results possible and it shows, but dont be fooled by his friendly demeanor he is going to cause you extreme pain!!! Highbridge tattoo is a quality shop with quality professionals im impressed completely!

Aaron Matthews drew and redrew my tattoo until it was right. He works fast enough that you arent questioning all your decisions, but slow enough that the results are amazing. Hes done my two most recent tattoos and set the yardstick for what my old tattoos need to become (in fact, hell be freshening those up soon). HIGHLY recommend Aaron.

I went as a walk-in today and was greeted with smiles and laughter! Not only did my tattoo turn out wonderfully, the entire staff was awesome! Professional and down to earth. Cool Vibe. I will be going back to them for more tattoos!

I had a $300. budget and went in with the intention of getting a tattoo. I am not joking when I say this... A dirty looking long haired homeless person wearing cowboy boots and stinking of booze walked up with a surly attitude to talk to me about my idea... he instantly sneered when he heard what I wanted, a skinny anorexic woman standing behind him felt the need to give me her input and talk down to me about my idea. They both thought they were witty and hilarious making fun of my tattoo idea.. I walked out feeling insulted... my idea was obviously not up to their standard of cool. I will not be giving them any of my business.

Kaily is the bees knees! She is an amazing artist and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the client gets exactly what they want. Like others have said, shes moved stencils for me multiple times and tweaked designs and I have never once felt like a nuisance for asking. I am so sad Im moving because Kaily is my favorite tattooist in MN!

Always a great experience when I go in here, very clean shop and friendly staff. Ive gone in a few times to get jewelry changed or pierced and always very quick and painless. Prices have always been cheaper than most places Ive been, plus great experiences here so Ill definitely continue recommending this shop.

You go into a tattoo studio with a carefully crafted idea of a graphic depiction of some significant aspect of yourself. I believe that, aside from maintenance of a medically sterile environment, the most important task of a tattoo artist is to take this cherished emblem from you and invest himself in it without overpowering the original concept.I wish I could rate only quality; nothing else matters. I entrusted my concept to Sam, and he gave me the most badass tattoo Ive ever seen. What else do I need to say?

Bar none, best place to get a tattoo in the metro. Hell, the whole state, really. Best service, pricing, and people who actually care about you. Don’t settle for the robot working at a tourist tattoo mill - invest in getting to know these guys (and gals), your emotional well-being will thank you.

A few months ago I stopped in to northeast tattoo to get another tattoo from my artist Peter McLeod and they told me that he had quit tattooing, which was a big fat lie! I googled his name on my iphone and found his website. He is working at a new shop not too far from northeast tattoo. I feel so insulted by these people that they think Im dumb enough to believe that he quit tattooing. Why would they say that? It make no sense to me and will never go back. Im glad I found Peters new shop and Peter even apologized for the treatment I got at his old shop and he couldnt believe that happened. He will always do ALL my tattoos no matter what shop he works at.

I mean honestly kinda upset with this place. I have had over 10 removals and its just lightened up so I went to another tattoo removal shop for a consult and they were in shock when I told them how many times Ive gone .. specially when the tattoo itself is pretty light and smaller . Ive spent over 1,000 already on 2 tattoos...

Zak made my tattoo removal on my neck bleed alot and it took 4 days to get better and stop the pain in my neck and after the pain went away it was just black from the paint and all my other tattoos did not blended that much on my body at all i dont like no dam zak at all he suck
